If I hadnt gotten in so late, I probably wouldve changed where I stayed. I went to the wrong Oyo first, and thank God I didnt have to stay there. It felt really seedy it looked kind of dilapidated. The host was really nice and even stood outside with me when my Lyft driver came back to get me to take me to the other Oyo location.Again, the man was quite nice who was helping me but right outside the office. It looks like a small dump with old furniture and metal stuff piled up by the office. The room was clean, thats why they gave them two stars. But it wasnt nice. It felt like they havent put anything new in it since about the 1960s. The bed was decently comfortable and I actually slept pretty well. The air conditioner worked. And yet it was a far cry from anywhere I would stay again.I for sure would pay another $30 to upgrade to a place that felt safer and newer.
If I could give this place zero stars or negative stars I would the room was hot. We had to go buy two fans. They gave us the fan and it was still hot.

For an inexpensive hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. Its pretty bare bones, but the beds were clean and comfortable, the property was quiet and the staff was great!
The room didnt look like the picture they showed on the website and the rooms looked old inside my bathroom window wasnt sealed all the way closed I was scared somebody might come through that window and I was sleeping at night anyways I guess theyre renovating the rooms so the door was pretty bad looking and they had no HBO movies no coffee maker like they said but other than that I had a good stay there Im not sure if Ill stay there again maybe after they fix things up Ill go check it out again I did like the bathroom and the shower was very pleasant in there
Owner and staff were very friendly and courteous and the rooms were freezing cold which made it nice to make it through the summer!

First off the rooms are nothing like what it is on the website. When we got there had to wait to check in cause no one was there and it was 101 degrees. There was no wifi at all. We had a couple people knocking on our door trying to sell weed. The room was very small along with the bathroom and there was stains everywhere on the floors and walls and there was holes in the walls it was by far the worst hotel room I have ever stayed at and I will never go back. I do not recommend this place. I also want to add that we found a very old pair of men flip-flops under our bed and was was so gross looks like they were there for a while.... the tv was also broken and not working for a few hours and we couldnt watch movies on our lap top cause there was no wifi and I called the guy but I couldnt understand him and it took a bunch of calls to get the wifi but he ended up lying to us and we didnt find it. Also the door key kept not working and it was super annoying.
The room was clean, fresh linens on the bed, there were a few stains on the carpet. But that was the least of my worries, I did not even see one bug. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, and the owners are amazing! Will definitely stay here again.
This hotel is a fantastic value for the cost. I stay here when I get dental work in Mexico. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They treat me well every single time I stay there. It is clean!! I have inspected every bit of every room I have stayed in (because unfortunately I have had a past experience with bed bugs and I am paranoid) but this motel has no pests and have no signs of past problems. I got a great rate on a cute room with a king bed and a smaller bed separated by a wall, so It felt like a double room and the bathtub was beautiful and big. The pool was nice but not heated. The only thing they are lacking is an ice machine. So big you need it , buy it at the store close by. They do have a mini fridge , microwave, ironing board and flat screen tv with lots of channels. Thank you Oyo staff for making my stay comfortable
This was the worst motel room I have ever stayed in. We chose this motel because we have 4 children, 2 if whom are 5 and under, so we try to find rooms with 3 or more beds. This was a large room, basically a studio apartment, with a small but adequate bathroom. I had the distinct impression that previous tenants had lived there a while and trashed it. It also felt like they were in the middle of fixing/remodeling. Although all the rooms were supposedly non smoking, this room had a strong smell of it. At one point I saw a maid leaving another room while smoking. The TV did not work. The phone was disconnected. The AC was functioning. The table/cabinet that the TV was on was broken. The fridge had sticky surfaces and things in the freezer. There was a casserole dish just sitting on top of the cabinet. There was no coffee maker or any other food/drink options. The shower did seem to work , although the shower head was at a height lower than my head, and I am only 59. The foyer that you walk into had tiles missing from the floor. The carpet was stained throughout the room, as was the one couch. We killed at least one cockroach and found another dead one. The bathroom window was missing a pane, and they did have a maintenance guy fix that. They offered us the use of another, smaller, room while the window was being fixed, and this room also had a strong smell. At least the TV worked. It also had a coffee maker, but when we checked it, it was full of coffee, which actually had mold growing on the surfaces. The guy also tried to fix the TV and phone, but to no avail. I think it was not actually a hardware issue, and I finally told him not to worry about it since we were going to sleep soon anyway. The mattresses were not very comfortable, but they werent horrible either. The pool was closed and it didnt look like it was going to be open any time soon. Because we have difficulty finding rooms with three beds on short notice, we decided to just deal with everything and leave as soon as possible in the morning. Otherwise I would have left immediately and found other accommodations.

It was obvious that their website pictures were from when the motel was brand new. The motel was extremely run down. The room was the worst Ive ever stayed in: walls were filthy, the chair was soiled and the cushion was ripped, I put a blanket over it to be able to sit on it, the tv cable was out on the floor where someone could trip on it, the dresser was missing drawers, the bathroom switch did not have a cover over it, etc I could list more. The person at the desk was nice and very friendly .
This hotel is worn down and dirty. You can not walk on the carpet without shoes. Dont sit on the chair it has pee stains. Windows has duct tape. Light fixture on ceiling has toilet paper rolls to keep it from dangling. Dont dare make coffee in the coffee pot its nasty. They were moving me to a 2nd room I ran out because there was a dong on the bed and I fear dogs. Dont know who left a dog behind.
I will say that the lady at the front desk was super nice and friendly. The man was also super nice and friendly. Upon entering the room it appeared to me old and outdated, but also appeared to be clean. I woke up around 3-4 am. Grabbed phone to see what time it was. Saw something moving. Turned on my flashlight. Wow. Bed bugs. For real. I took video and photo proof. Even videoed from the bed to the sign by the toad. Woke staff up. He was nice. Tried to give me another room. I didn’t think so. I literally took my shorts shirt and underwear I was wearing and threw them in the garbage. Showered and went straight to my truck. I was given a refund of 30 dollars out of 70. After hounding people on the phone for days and sending them proof. Never will I ever stay at another OYO, anywhere.
I truly don’t understand the negative reviews. Robin the owner is nice. Has always went above and beyond with making room/ allowing to park my big truck and trailer in front. Rooms are big, clean, comfortable. And allows my dog. Every time I’m in Yuma I always choose this hotel. Great price and customer service and within walking distance if you wanna grab dinner bfast or lunch. Oyo/Arizona inn for the win.
Have been here 6 days & NO hot water. Others also have NO hot water. Told manager 3x!! He made a phone call and walked away. Offered to move me to another room but Im debilitated and have difficulty moving about, wouldnt offer to help me either. The place is very old and run down yet costs a fortune. I would leave but am committed to this place for several days. I dont recommend staying here. The internet was very spotty - off & on for two days, and now the cable TV is out completely after buffering (shutting down and restarting all by itself) about every 2-3 hours today. Ive called the manager but got no answer, of course it was 11:30 P.M. but there is no one at the front desk and the motel advertised as 24/7 service. I bet the manager will be very happy when I vacate! The room was clean, sheets fresh and clean, but the bed did dip in the middle.
Our room only had 2 plug ins neither of which were by the bed and the heater didnt work well the fan had to be on too. The cable TV was good came in clear and plenty of things to watch. Its laid back a good motel to stay a night or two at.
Its far from the Ritz-Carlton its comfortable quite and service/personal attention I better than any high end motel/hotel Ive ever stayed at, and over the years its been a few. No amminitys but all you need is within short walking distance. Its always my number 2 go to when I can get a room sold out many times.
It was a nice place to stay. The room was much larger than I could have imagined it would be. The staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel is right off a very busy street in Yuma, but surprisingly, I heard no noise from traffic, etc. I was very comfortable and relaxed, and never felt any anxiety or concern about being outside my room at night. The parking lot is well lit at night too.The downsides are: Not all rooms come with a coffee maker, even though the website states that all rooms come with a coffee maker. The TV was not a plasma, but rather an LCD Flat screen. No big deal there,because it worked just fine, but it is listed that the tvs are plasma.I would recommend this place to EVERYONE who is stopping by Yuma, or coming to visit.A great place for a low price. This place is not a 5 star hotel, but it is a 5 star Motel.Keep up the good work Arizona Inn & Suites, and thank you for such a pleasant stay!
I had to book an extra day for Thanksgiving week to visit family and had no issue. I received a clean king sized bed , room smelled wonderful and staff are very friendly . Great decor, everything in the room matched ! .The bed is comfortable, theres a ceiling fan , microwave, desk, large nightstand for my laptop, a nice wall TV, along with a full ironing board and iron. The ac works great The internet worked great even on a Linux OS laptop, easily connected without any issues so u can do business -- A+ fast connection. The bathroom had a nice tub and good condition . Great Location and much more! This met beyond my expectations and the price was worth it and reasonable . I visit Yuma a lot because of family that lives nearby and Ive tried many hotels in area, and right now this one surpasses them all..
Well, I wish I could write something better here but there were a few things that annoyed me. First, there was no access to WiFi. I asked for it a few times and when I finally got some access code, neither access point was working. There was supposed to be a coffee set, however, there was none. I requested one but never got it.
Nothing fancy, but good value for the price you pay. Owner was very friendly and he handed me a free bottle of cold water at my arrival. I had a mini fridge, microwave and an iron board in my room. It was a little bit outdated and there were some long black hairs on the pillows. Besides that, i had a good stay.
It was clean and serviceable, but outdated. Kitchenette area has only one spoon, bowl, knife and plate though the room is set up for two. The advertised pool was neither clean nor heated, so useless. Likewise, the “free” WiFi did not work in our room which was the third room down from the office - also useless.
The price was low and the front office service was good but... The room was pretty disgusting, there were stains on the carpet and furniture as well as cigarette burns. The bathroom was very outdated. It looked like a Sketcher haven however the shower worked fine and the bed was pretty comfortable so I I think it earns 3 stars
I was there on a road a year ago after a long days drive from L.A. it was a welcome releif to the hot sun of the summer sun. the AC worked great and the pool was clean, which unfortunately it was too late for me use. the thing my girlfriend remembers the most was the massive bed. i remember a good nights sleep. the price was decent too compared to most places on this strip. the hostess was nice. i highly recommend.
This review is a year late and I feel bad for waiting so long to post it. All I want to say is that I had a great time at the Arizona Inn & Suites and that it is run by very nice people. When we forgot some clothes at the room after checking out, the management mailed them cross country so we could get them back. That was incredibly nice. There was no reason for them to do that, but they still did it. Thank you very, very much! If I am in the area I will stay with you again!
Online this place looks OK but when you actually see it and the area of town it is in it appears to be rather seedy. I would have canceled my reservation of two nights but would have been charged half the online price and who can afford that? I was surprised that it was obvious the room had seen better days the linen was clean as was the bathroom and the staff was very friendly and kind. While I wouldnt stay there again in the future (because of the location) I do not regret my visit this time.
The room was very hot when we arrived. It wasnt very clean but it was a good price. We came to visit our passing grandfather and while we were gone someone stole my brand new Naked palette out of my suitcase! We never received a reimbursement nor even a apology. I will never stay at this hotel again.
If I could give this hotel no stars, I would. There were stains on the carpet, yellow & black stains on the towels & to top it off huge stains on the mattress. We were there for 30 mins after inspecting the room & the owner claimed we were there for two hours, even after showing him the timestamp on the receipt. Asked for refund because we did not feel comfortable staying there & he was extremely rude. Yelling & refusing to give us our money back. My advice.. book the HOWARD JOHNSON hotel down the street for just $10 more a night. This place is NOT worth the headache!
We experienced inadequate lodging at the Arizona Inn & Suites. First, the TV stopped working at 630 pm. Tried to call the office, but the phone did not work. Walked down to office and was informed that they didnt know what was wrong with their TV signal TV was still down in the morning. Comforter had stains. Turned on the heat during the night. Was barely warming the room, it malfunctioned, and set off the smoke detector. Shower water was barely warm. Requested a partial refund. Owner offered $5. Completely unacceptable!
Great place to stay for the price ! Good location, quiet, owners were friendly and gave us free bottles of water. The room was big, had a kitchen area with fridge and microwave. Bathroom was very clean and had really good water pressure ! Would definitely recommend especially for the price.
For what I paid, this hotel delivered. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. True, the Wi-Fi didnt work from my room and the breakfast was really just prepackaged muffins, orange juice and coffee , but I only paid $50 a night to stay here. I would stay again if I was planning on stopping in Yuma again.
We booked this online. The pictures of units looked ok. When we got there, we did not stay. The room needed a complete overhaul. The carpet was soiled. The furniture was stained. The tub was the worst. I think it was the most discustingly stained tub I have ever seen in a motel. Do Not Stay in this motel.
I booked this motel room for 9 days so I could get my teeth fixed in Los Algodones. The room was very dated but appeared clean. The owners also appeared to be pleasant when I checked in, but wait!Not that I watch TV, but there was no HBO as advertised. No Continental Breakfast with Coffee, which is also advertized on their web page. I kept the door closed to the bathroom because the light peered in the room in the morning. When I opened the bathroom door I could smell sewer gas. It wasn’t every day, but when there was more occupancy. There were BB holes in the bathroom window! Bath towels were like sand paper. It was quiet until the room was occupied next door. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Took of a few pictures of blood stains on the bed sheets, probably from bug kills since i did kill a few bugs i saw wondering on my bed during my stay. No worries, they were not bed bugs.Soon after I checked in, I took a shower and the water was barely warm. Shaving was a chore. After 5 days of excuses and no hot water, I asked for a refund of my 4 remaining nights. The owner began yelling and screaming at me, and would not refund the 4 days I had left. At one point HE almost would not let me stay at all. He was ranting and stated; No Refund, and pointed to the little sign on the counter.. and he said since I was done with my dental work I was trying to leave early. I was appalled by the way this guy spoke to me! It was far from the truth…I still had 4 more days of dental work to go. This guy was irate, rude, threatening and was screaming uncontrollably. He is a vicious man and I WOULD NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL AGAIN IF IT WERE FREE! There are many other motels right on this main road that offer the same and better, like the HACIENDA, a mile down the road.To top it off, I paid in full when I checked in, as his wife required, all cash, a big mistake. His wife said cash was better for them. I forgot to get my receipt and went back in the office after I unpacked and his wife said I was all good and don’t worry about it… and another big mistake.Good ratings are probably due to very short stays of 1 or 2 days.STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOTEL.THERE ARE MANY BETTER OPTIONS IN YUMA!THE GUY IS A JERK and there are much better choices than this motel!
The owner was rude and disrespectful. I ask him for a iron, the iron in the was not working. I stated to him if you are in the hotel business. It is your job to make sure you have proper equipment. He was being very sarcastic with me When I ask for a iron. He also began being in Lowell and just disrespectful over and over again as I asked him to give me my money back so I can go to a proper hotel that we have what I need. I would not recommend anyone to come to this establishment due to the behavior of the owner and how he acted toward me and how you act or anyone else as well.
Pretty good hotel with a great air conditioning system. it was 117 degrees when I came so the cool air was a priority. Great hotel manager very friendly and an awesome Bar right next door. I will definitely be back!
Very nice, quiet place, private suits and individual rooms accommodate with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, t.v, free parking lot and free Wi-Fi. Polite people at the front desk. Very reasonable prices per night $50.00. swimming pool, barbecue place area. No visitors allowed in the rooms. Just guessed that register when the room was booked. Cleaned rooms and toiletries.
Good hotel for the price. Stayed twice, rooms were clean, owners were nice. Not many other guests so it was quiet. Central location. Only problem was the water didnt get really hot, just warm. Recommend for someone who is looking for just a room and trying to save money.

Never have any problems when ive stayed here with my Fiancé the owner is super sweet he even gave us halved sandwiches from firehouse subs for having to wait 10 minutes for him to get back to the hotel so we could get a room. Rooms are always nice, just an all around excellent hotel. Will always choose this one over any others in Yuma.
I arrived at the hotel at 4 a.m. and was treated very well by the managers. I have now stayed here various times because they are so efficient and friendly. I have recommended this place to my friends and family because there is no better place for your money. I am considering staying longer the next time because of its central location. Everything is spotless,good pool,laundryand great a/c.It is very refreshing to see a company so well run.
I noticed the review indicating this motel is dirty etc. Nothing good be further from the truth the rooms are not just clean they are spotless and very large. I have been staying there every other week for over a year and can honestly say I have no complaints and feel safe at all times. The motel just installed flat screen has HD service for the local networks. ie. NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX. I could not recommend a place with more bang for the buck.
I loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly, and for it being located right off of a busy street, you really couldnt tell. Great location, private, clean, spacious rooms, and low rates! Will definitely be doing more business with Arizona Inn & Suites.

Its a older property while it wouldnt hurt for a nip and tuck/facelift etc its very quiet the owners/manager/staff extremely friendly and accommodating going the extra mile no frills but most importantly NO BUGS.
The rooms were not too clean, the sheets had way too much fragrance on them so I could hardly breathe. The WiFi was broken. The heater didnt work at all, it just blew cold air out.
We came with a reservation but walked away. We had a service dog, of which the rude owner and his wife refused to give us a room for the night. They were the type of owners that had their nose outside the blinds, when we were just standing around looking at the outside grounds, before we went into the office. Rude owners.
Room was beautiful was told I had to leave my belingings by the dumpster or remove them from property while I waited for a ride was told my service animal was not welcome and was against policy. Would not recommend for any body traveling with children or animals.

I go here every year for dove hunting they put out breakfast at 3 am and cook dinner for all the guests always clean awesome people I have hung out with the same guests here for 10 years during dove season so that says something for the place always a pleasure to stay here 5 stars for sure

I like to stay in low-cost motels and every once in awhile it doesnt work out well for this was the case with this one because I got into the room Im turned on the TV it didnt work the manager came down reset it still didnt work so I found myself without a TV tonight thank you very much
