The Ugly Lime

Love love love the atmosphere. Its a good place with the right kind of crowd. New management is working wonders with the throwback name of Little Texas. Drinks are affordable so you dont have to break the bank to have a good time. I like going when its not as busy but its a good time anytime you go.

Love Little Texas now,,, back to the old school ways! Old school country, new country, and awesome old school music!! Atmosphere way diff than ugly lime!!! Big dance floor for dancing!!! Highly suggest 👍

Great drink specials and music!!! Even a dance floor! Pool tables are also secluded so youre not in anyones way while playing! Great hangout!

Every time I have come to Little Texas, I always had Leilani as my bartender and she always provides the best service! Great experience overall!

One of the best places in Abilene to just go and hang out. Always laughing with customers and employees alike. Free food. They have a new shot special like weekly. Great drink specials. Staff was respectful. Beers were the coolest in town.

Security sucks, I had a all black hat on, and they told me to take it off, I left because that Security staff is very unprofessional. BTW IM LAW ENFORCEMENT DUMMIES.

This place is the bomb! Its the perfect spot to grab some drinks and hang with your pals. And get this, they even offer free food! I mean, who doesnt love free food? The atmosphere is just right for a chill night out. You wont regret checking this place out.

I haven’t been but we got to experience a car vomit of residual trash outside our front door of an employee named Kara. Apparently she “dropped” a stack of her work orders and her empty schnapps and malt liquor bottles and cans. I’m not sure what bothers me more: her disregard for trashing other people’s homes, or drinking while driving and letting us know about it. Clean up your act, Kara. Or at least your car.

So my friend was just kicked out of the Ugly Lime because some guy came up and was yelling at her and he told the manager that she was drunk even though she wasnt and he made her cry. He was a friend of the manager. The manager nor any of the other staff had spoken to her but they were friends with the guy who was yelling at her. The manager wouldnt give me his name so I took a picture of him and he tried taking my phone away from me and told me that you will not take my picture ever again. We will never go there again or Guitars and Cadillacs, or anywhere else that the owner owns... ZERO STARS

I dont know why this place is rated so low, but Saturday Night was awesome! My Lyft driver was going to take me somewhere else, but after hearing what I like in a bar and the kind of music... He recommended me here. That was the best recommendation ever! I try to avoid bars that play country music and this bar is it! Maybe the low score comes from people whom hate anything but country? Who you going to believe? Someone with a few reviews, or someone thats travels to a different state every year? (Edit: And get this.. He told me everytime he drops people off or picks people up from here, this place is always packed. If a place isnt good, why is it packed allot?) (Edit #2: Free pool if you give them your Drivers license. No problems here).

Bartenders try to take advantage. I have been here before and ordered cranberry vodka at happy hour for thier happy hour well price drinks and got them for the happy hour price but today I went and got 4 well drinks the price was $6.75 she didnt tell me until after i closed my tab that cranberry was more. I didnt leave a tip. Should have been $3.00. I have had drinks here before that were cranberry and vodka and was not charged extra. I would have given her a tip if she was honest but she wasnt. So desperate and nasty. I wont be returning here. Also during happy hour the music sucks

Rude bartenders! If they know you dont go there on a regular basis they are not eager to serve you. The bartender forgot the liquor in 2 of our shots but argued that she didnt. Music could be better!

I had been there a while back and the service was really slow. I tried it out again tonight and waited quite a while. I was not acknowledged by any of the three people behind the bar during that time. I understand being busy but not even being acknowledged by any of three people directly in front of me? I definitely wont be going back again.

Watched the bouncer become belligerent with guest tonight. Surprised after two visits from APD he still has a job. De-escalating situations was clearly not a strong suit of his. Also, the lines were incredibly long and the drinks extremely weak. I would be happy to provide more details to the owners in regards to their loose cannon bouncer.

Not a great bar, the service was really bad. Kind of ghetto..

This business should have a sign posted and update their listing here in Google I have been here countless times over the years they have been open and tonight was the first time I was informed of a dress code this place is not casual and this appears to be both poor management and a lazy owner

Not for out-of-towners. I went there with my family and the security wouldn’t let me in because I was wearing a typical summer t-shirt (tank top). As I waited outside I saw numerous girls walking in wearing tank tops so I guess the rule only applies to men.

A great place to hang out. On a weekday it has a nice calm environment. On the weekends it is lively. I enjoyed each time. Love their frozen drinks.

This place is exactly what you would expect out of Abilene. Old, rundown and lack of flare. Glad I moved out of Abilene.

Came here for food late night. Bought a drink didnt know food was free. Cool.

One of the guard was rude and wanted to start a fight after I told him he was doing a good job.

Called to make sure they were open til 2 am at around 9 PM and was told yes. Took an Uber across town, got there at midnight, and was told they were closing early.

Liked the place overall, but the bar has its own regulars, so if youre not a regular, you stick out like a sore thumb and treated differently as well.

The place is amazing fun and comfortable and Chrisy the bartender is the coolest bartender ever she sweet and funny and really chiil
