I came in today for a 90 min massage, I needed to change due the storm doing damage to our home. If I knew the people coming to fix our home were coming sooner I would have called. They were able to get us in sooner.I honestly just wanted a massage to relax and put the storm behind me.The girl originally said it was fine, then came back to say I’d still be charged for the full 90 min. Honestly, you can’t make an exception due to the situation? At that point I was just done, my nerves were already a wreck. I wouldn’t even be able to enjoy the massage in the end.So they used a credit and half, then as I was walking decided to laugh at me.Which lead to me crying in my car. After everything I’ve been through these last couple days, that was not something I needed.Making someone feel that way is horrible, treating people that way is completely unacceptable.
Simon is the absolute best! I have gone to him multiple times and he has consistently helped me with feeling better with my recovery. Bewt massages I have ever had.
I’m not usually one to complain but I am just so truly disappointed in this business. I have cancelled my membership 3 times now since October and continue to get charged $70 a month. Each time I have reached out I’ve been told my paperwork was probably lost due to new management. $350 has been drained from my card and there has yet to be any resolution other than “we will investigate this.” I never hear anything back. I just want my card deleted from their system and to receive my money back.The services they offer are wonderful and their massages are amazing. Before this incident, I was recommending this business to anyone who would listen.
It took me trying a few different therapists to find the right one for me. But Judy is the best around. The staff at the front is always very helpful too.
This business is going down hill and NO one seems to care.Rancid oil smells on the sheets, no music in the room and poor front desk service. It is a shame for the massage industry to treat clients so poorly.I am unfortunately have to go for another month before I can cancel my membership.I am well prepared to face any of the difficulties they might put me through.
Got a 90 min massage with Andrew yesterday, he was GREAT!! I will def be booking with him again!
I’m not going back. Really disappointed with this place. First, my massage was fine and everyone was polite. No problems there. The issue is the money grubbing. I have to pay $15 for lavender smells for an $180 massage? Then I go to tip and you charge ME a “convenience fee” to tip?? Mind you a 90 minute massage is somehow only 80 minutes of actual massaging. The first five minutes are relentless upsells for odors (that should be free) and other services.Then the suggested tips are in the ~30 percents?! I don’t mind leaving a solid tip but the fact I have to pay for the tip and then you’re asking a frankly egregious amount for it. Maybe this is just how all massage places do it now, and if it is, then I guess I recommend this place because the massage was good and people were nice…but I think I’ll stick with a massage chair if that’s the case.
Beyond dissatisfied with Massage Envy’s business ethics and their lack of backbone to do what is right. It may be my new goal to let everyone I know know where NOT TO GO. After getting a less than mediocre massage in September, I came to find out that my HSA account was being drafted monthly for bi weekly massages (about $100 a month). This came to my attention in late October in which case I called and the management said that I could receive “credits for my massages” but not my money back. I requested that the auto drafts be stopped and to have the credits put into my account.Two weeks ago when looking through bills, I found another Massage Envy bill dated for the end of December! Looking into it I found that nearly 300 by now had been taken from my HSA. - after calling Massage Envy I was told that I could get a call from a manager in the following hours or day and that the reason for the continuous draft was a switch in management at that time. They also said that I would be getting a refund for the drafted amount shortly. That was 2 WEEKS AGO. I have called nearly 20 times trying to get ahold of someone to get this all resolved (5 times today) and my calls have not been received.All I can share is my experience and with that being said so far all I have dealt with is terrible customer service. Processing errors. Over priced massages for what is given. And a feeling that as a customer I do not matter.I would love to just get my issues resolved. This is ridiculous.
Allen ME has some of the best massage therapists Ive been to. Today my appt was with Judy and she did not disappoint one bit. She was thorough, listened, and HEARD my requests of where my problem areas were, and left no knot untied in my body. She is so strong for someone so little. Judy knew when to give deep/firm pressure and where to lighten up. I strongly recommend seeing her... just left a few times open for me ☺️
Okay so the young man that did my massage asked if I wanted a massage where I felt like I was beat up we laughed about it I stated no I do want a deep tissue massage but I dont want to feel like I was beat up I kid you not I felt like I was beat up by many this massage was so hard it was not pleasant at all I will never return back to this place I hate to say it but I feel that there was some Prejudice there the staff was not attentive at all the young lady that entered my information tried to be polite as possible but this office felt very cold no one was attentive at all
It’s always nice when the front staff greets me by name and then ensure I enjoyed my appointment after the session. I also appreciate them scheduling my appointments in advance so I never miss a session. What can I say other than Joanna is amazing! She always provides an effective massage and stretch, and targets specific areas that are problematic. The Manager continues to bring in great personnel and is always customer focused!
I haven’t had a bad massage at this ME location. Front desk staffs are welcoming and kind. My massage therapist was Lini last week. She was absolutely amazing! Will be back soon!
Kim was great! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They answered all my questions and helped me customize and enhance my massage experience. I had a 90 minute massage with Enhance Muscle Therapy, I loved it and plan on coming back for additional sessions. My only ask would be for the facility to find some way to keep the heating portion of the treatment warm-hot vs cold.
The staff here is amazing. The manager is incredibly accommodating to whatever your needs! Best customer service!! As fast as therapist I will not name because it’s hard enough getting an appointment with her! She is amazing and can go from deep tissue to soothing depending on your bodies need! I do recommend this location. Don’t be afraid to tell them exactly what you want when you schedule your appointment. They will match you with the perfect therapist!
I recently became a new member of Massage Envy in March and enjoyed going to the Allen location. I made an appointment on Monday for Tuesday (May 30th) evening at 6pm. They called that day and confirmed. I get to the my appointment at 6pm and the appointment was cancelled because the massage therapist was sick. They did not call and leave a voicemail stating the appointment was cancelled. That was uncalled for. After work I was excited for this appointment and I get there and find it is cancelled. I am not upset about the massage therapist being sick, I completely understand things happen. What I am upset about is not being notified. If I was notified I could have made an appointment at a different location. All they said was sorry there was not a voicemail left, do you want to reschedule for a different day. They could have at least offered a free additional add on service. I am very disappointed. I most likely will not be going to this location again.
If you visit the Allen location, ask for Jennifer. I recently relocated to the area with my wife and kids and thought it would be hard to find a better massage therapist than I had in COS. I was wrong. THANK YOU Jenn for getting the knots out of my back and hamstrings and recognizing the tension I had in my shoulders. She was so meticulous that she paid attention to my intake docs where I had multiple knee surgeries and provided my knees with some relief as well, which I have never had another massage therapist do. Thanks so much and I will be returning.
This place is so ridiculous on so many different levels. Was charged 50% of cost because I moved my appointment ahead of schedule by 4 hours of my original appt on the same day. However Allen have cancelled on me several times and I have never been offered anything if the therapist does not show. I need to stop doing business with this location and go else where. They just do not have common sense at this location.
Sherry was a great massage therapist!!! She was so good that I’m going back for 90 minutes with her on my next appointment! Since I have neuropathy in my hands & feet due to thyroid issues, I was actually somewhat apprehensive about getting massages at all, but the therapists I’ve been to at the Allen ME location have all been great! Thanks Sherry & I’m really looking forward to another great massage tomorrow! See you then!

I recently visited this luxurious Massage Envy location, and I can honestly say it was the most indulgent experience I have ever had. Delise, the lead esthetician who treated me, was amazing - she performed a microderm infusion that left my skin feeling incredibly hydrated and clean. But thats not all - I also had the pleasure of getting a massage from Heather, the lead therapist, who was a miracle worker! She was able to ease my discomfort and tension with her skilled hands and soothing energy. To top it all off, I decided to add on the CBD enhancement to my massage, and it was truly amazing. The CBD helped to deepen my relaxation and soothe my muscles even more. The spa itself was stunning - the atmosphere was peaceful and serene, and the staff were all very welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a truly indulgent experience, and I cant wait to come back and see Delise and Heather again!
Johanna at Massage Envy in Allen is the BEST! I have been a client of Massage Envy for over 10 years and have had many great massages therapists throughout the years. But Johanna tops them them all!!! She has been my massage therapist for the past 3 years. Her skills and techniques are exceptional! Sessions with her are a highlight in my schedule; they are both relaxing and therapeutic.
4 month update: I decided to give this place another chance because my first massage was so great. Which I found out later was by Sherry! I’ve been going to her ever since and have had pleasant experiences so far.My first massage was excellent. My second one was nothing special. I brought someone with me and they tried to over charge them when I was told it would be 70$ extra to bring someone since I have a membership. The whole experience was extremely unprofessional. The front staff was not apologetic for giving misinformation. Both my guest and myself left extremely unsatisfied and underwhelmed. My guest informed me that her massage was poor and that the lady she had was talking the entire time. I have no interest in bringing a guest again. I am contemplating canceling my membership or just going to another location. Extremely disappointed.
The moment I enter the facility, the friendly front desk staff call me by name and immediately checked me in. Heather, my massage therapist, did an outstanding job incorporating a 30 minute assisted stretch with my 60 minute massage. Usually, I dont trust anyone to do deep tissue but Heather has eased those fears. Her skills are excellent and her service was exceptional!
First time ever going to the massage envy Allen location, I had Jedi as my massage therapist. It was the best experience Ive ever had going to a massage envy! Jedi listened to what I had to say and only focused on the areas that I wanted him to focus on. He was absolutely incredible and I cant wait to go back!

The facility was clean and staff friendly. My massage was not the best. My provider was Jacob and he didnt do a full body. He skipped my hands, feet and neck completely. The room was cold which made it less relaxing. Not sure if I would return.

The front desk stating one thing and did another. Otherwise, My massage was good. I treated a friend to a massage that sadly wasnt very good. I paid for the 1.5 hours and in her case he didnt do the full body despite that being the request but remained work on her back.When I voiced my concerns listed below with the charges or lack of adding what was promised to the massage the response was they were busy or the person I spoke to didnt know what they offered or they changed software and no effort to resolve. They did not act in good faith and honor what was offered and paid for. They didnt deny it, they just rather the client pay than make concessions to resolve concerns.—summary above—-Curious about details? Read belowto make sure this doesnt happen to you. -1. I signed up at a time of specials that offered an extra enhancement for each coupon. When I went for my first massage it was said they knew I signed over the phone but they didnt have the coupons any longer as you needed a physical copy. Why didnt they mention that or better mail me the coupons needed?2. When I called to make 2 appointments I agreed to book based on price 1.5 hour massage would be $25 extra plus the 1 hour coupon paid for in my monthly subscription. When I arrived and at the end they first charged cash, just took my card didnt say how much and ran it for one massage of $180. Then they voided this and told me instead of $25 it would be $60 despite them being aware I was told $25 and $10 extra for offering to a friend. If they gave me the wrong price, they should honor it or at the very least let a person know before they agree to service. This was for a birthday. I wasnt unkind, I made it clear this was terrible way to do business but perhaps no shouting on my side encouraged them to treat people without the grace needed.3. I asked for an enhancement for myself and my friend to make of for that I lost for this occasion. She didnt offer this although Tori reluctantly agreed, despite this being part of the original offer. She didnt want to offer it and it accidentally slip. When I asked why we didnt get it she said they were too busy to tell the therapist. In this case she offered to put this in the system to give it me me the next time. Now I ask if she can do this for the one occasion why couldnt she for the rest of the coupons, which she knows was offered and stated they couldnt because A. no coupons available and B system change. I should not have a penalty for their changing of software.I hope this helps someone. Ive asked that the owner give me an email as this is franchised operation and independently owned. My friend who recommended this subscription pays for 5 memberships. She said no one listens to complaints. LETS PROVE THAT wrong and please someone contact me to offer something of a better experience and Ill happily edit this post.

I would give a zero if possible. I had a fantastic masseuse (Rushell), however the office staff is so incompetent that they had me booked for days and times I did not have. Wanting to change for their mistakes. They changed and moved my time to accommodate another client. Kathy at the desk could not figure out how to cancel an appointment. Now I understand much more how they have so many people leaving them. They still owe me time on a message they refuse to refund. This is a poorly run center in Allen TX, off McDermott. Dont go here you will be very disappointed, not in the masseuse necessarily, but in the way it is run.
From my first visit the staff managing the front desk and back office made transferring my membership from a different state seamless.Smooth as silk.Further, as I described the kind of help I needed they recommended a specific therapist.The flawless communication continues as I work with Shawn. I’ve had 5 sessions with him and I tell everyone I know he is the best therapist I’ve had in a several years membership with Massage Envy.I urge you to schedule a session with him.
Miriam is always my go to when I go to massage envy. I have been seeing her for several years now. I tried several and in my opinion she is the best. She is also the busiest!! Lol. Elizabeth is very good at facials too. I have had several from her so far.
Johanna has been incredible for over a year. She’s very consistent with her massage. I usually target my upper back and I feel so much better after she has really worked on my knots in my back. I highly recommend her.
I absolutely love Sherry. She is pretty darn amazing. I tried a couple other masseuse here at this location before landing her. My bi-weekly massages have made a huge difference for me.

I had booked a 6 o clock appointment for August 8 2022 with them and on my way met with an accident where my car broke down. I left them a voicemail with details. They still charged $100 plus for no show. The lady that spoke was inconsiderate and was trying to sell the membership instead.I later called her again and expressed my disappointment in how it was handled and offered to provide proof of the accident. It was after multiple follow up calls was I able to get in touch with the center manager. She was very prompt and professional in looking into the incident and processing the refund. Thank you.
Update: The location didn’t have a contract on file for me and wanted me to sign a cancellation form and forfeit my remaining credits. I refused to sign a form-eventually they canceled my account and gave me a few months to use the remaining credits. They still didn’t want to honor the price that was quoted. So this location was willing to loose a member over $30 that their employee misquotedI was quoted one price for a massage for my husband. I called to make payment and once the massage was complete and they quoted me twice the amount I was told before I booked. I would have went to another massage place if I had know the price up front. The manager Tobi acknowledged I was given the wrong price and refused to honor the quoted price. I’m so upset over the lack of customer service. If you want to use a massage envy please go to another location. I will make sure to never get another massage envy membership again😡
Horrible experience. I signed up for a new memebership and had my first 90 minute massage last night. First, the therapist walked in without knocking when I was not finished getting undressed. Then the massage experience was so painful at one point I started tearing up. I told her it hurt and she apologized, but kept on with the same spot and pressure. The part I was most uncomfortable with is she was not modest with the sheet. When it came time to work different areas she would fluff the sheet up exposing my body. It made me extremely uncomfortable. I told her I did not want my butt area massaged, but when she was massaging my legs her hands were going up so far that I could feel her fingers in my inner thighs and on my butt region. It was unprofessional and uncomfortable. I walked out asking to speak to the assistant manager. She was very nice and expressed her concern and let me cancel my membership. It was just an overall a bad experience and the worst massage I have ever had. Today, I’m bruised and in so much pain. It’s not how I wanted to spend my weekend. I came in for relaxation and left with the opposite. I hope someone speaks to her about her massage techniques and professionalism.
Jedidiah (Allen location) is amazing at what he does. I have the worst shoulder/back tension and he was able to get my body back to relaxing after the 90min massage. 10/10 would recommend. I will absolutely be back to see him.
Got a different massage therapist than I asked for: Left in worse shape that I came in, I asked specifically for shoulders and neck to be worked on, and got a painful full body massage and barely touched my shoulders and neck. I was in pain after the massage for a couple days. Then I was being pressured to buy the 1 year program, I was going to do it but was being told wrong information about canceling it if I wanted to, and another employee had to step in and give the right information
Shawn was amazing. I work on the computer a lot and had a lot of tension in my shoulders and pain near my spine when I came in yesterday. By the time I left I felt like my whole body had been relaxed and the tension relieved. He stretched out my muscles so I didn’t feel so tight. It was amazing. I already booked my next appointment !
Went in for a 90 minute massage and upon arrival was checked in by two girls at the front desk who had a friend on speakerphone. They never hung up while they are getting my name and info. I was taken to the “tranquility” room just to hear them having a loud conversation with their friend on the phone that was extremely inappropriate. Either they underestimated how loud they were, how much you can hear from said tranquility room, or they assumed I was already taken back for my massage. I called (per protocol) at 5:45 for my 6:00 appointment and was told to come in “at like 5:50....or yeah, like 5....55.....” (???). I walked in at 5:52 since I wasn’t quite sure what numbers she decided on, and was picked up at 6:17. I was hopeful that I would at least get a good massage, but noticed we were going from one body part to the other extremely quickly. The therapist asked if it was ok that we go to 7:00 since we started late. I was like, well this was supposed to be a 90 min massage, so I’m a little confused. She was really sweet and offered to continue for a 90 min, but after powering through the first 30 min I am against even wasting the credit on 30 minutes longer for a mediocre massage. I’m literally in tears, 38 weeks pregnant, just wanted one final massage before I deliver, and was disappointed from the minute I walked in the door.I must add that I have had the ME membership for several years, have been to 5 locations, and the Allen location has been absolutely terrible the last few years. I’m done hiving it any more attempts.

I generally avoid large chain massage places as Ive had better experiences with private Massage therapy/therapists.BUT this weekend I was on a Mini Vacay in Dallas area (Frisco) at a Massage Envy and had an INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE at the hands of JEDIDIAH! AMAZING...The only reason its not the full 5 stars , I arrived late and only got 40 minutes after the paper work.But those 40 let know it would have been heavenly at 60 min!!If youre in the area (He is Normally in Allen TX ) Ask for JEDIDIAH @Massage Envy. It will be worth every minute. My friend Sheron wont let anyone else touch her!
I want to say a great review. I have been twice now. I found it very professional. Mike has been my massage therapist both times and has been great. He wants to know my concern areas that need to be addressed and dose a great job on focusing on my pain areas. He puts your comfort level first. I walked out feeling relaxed and well takin care of. Thanks for all your hard work in making me feel relaxed and tension and pain free. Ill be back in a month.

Ive been getting massages on a regular basis at massage envy and I feel great everytime I leave. Daniel gives the just right pressure. He will target your tight areas, if you mention them. I always leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and well all over! Im going three times this week to really target the tightness in my shoulder blade, thats how much I love my massage therapist! Ask for Daniel
I will not go to any other Massage Envy, only Allen location. Heather and Johanna are the best. They are very educated and care about their patients. They make sure they accomplish your goal during and before leaving you. Heather and Johanna will even give you exercises/stretches to do in between your massages to give you the full benefit from your massage.
5..is 10 🌟 an option?Always super happy with my time with Johanna shes wonderful! I come out feeling so relaxed I need a nap. As a busy mom a little massage staycation is usually all I can squeeze in. I truly appreciate that she is fearless when it comes to pressing out those tough knots I get in my shoulders it hurts so good then relaxes so wonderfully! I can life again, more comfortably💖
I have been to other Massage Envy locations in the past. This location is my favorite. The front desk staff is always friendly, helpful and very informative. I have several chronic health problems (Fibromylagia, Osteoarthritis, and Rheumatoid Arthritis). Every day of my life I deal with different degrees of chronic pain. The Therapist I had yesterday (January 5th) was so great she listened, and addressed all the areas that I told her that I have my greatest pain. After my 60 minute session with her I felt so much better. I left this location feeling relaxed and my legs an area where I ALWAYS have great pain had stopped hurting. I highly recommend this Massage Envy location and their therapists. I also like their covid 19 precautions.
I’ve had nothing but good experiences at this location. So far I’ve been to 3 in the DFW area, and this one is the best. Both therapists I’ve seen. Johanna and Sherry, were amazing. I’ll definitely be going back!

The therapist was very polite and thorough with the consultation part of the session. This was my first session with this particular therapist. Unfortunately, I walked out with the same amount of lower back pain that I went in with. This is only the second time this has happened since I started attending. I’ve been a member since about 2014. My ratings, 5 stars = no pain, so relaxed I fell asleep. 4 stars = no pain, all areas of concern were released, 3 stars = no pain, some areas not fully released, 2 stars = still in pain, areas of treatment not released at all, 1 star = more pain after than before.
Kimberly is amazing!!! She takes the time to find out your needs. I had a tension headache that couldn’t go away with meds and I left there headache free!
If you know it’s a 50 min massage instead of 1 hour but then watch the time because masseuse cuts minutes off. Now a front desk that apparently has not been trained so expect a wait in and a wait out while you watch the incompetence. Then attitude from Gabby that was unacceptable. Any one of these issues would have been overlooked but all three on one day has me questioning my membership.
The problem with these is theyre so commercial and fake. A massage should feel personal and relaxing, my therapist (that they claimed was their best) didnt do a good job, was hurrying through the process and even asked me to finish my session in 60 though I was booked for 90 mins. They come in 5 mins late and leave 10 mins early, in the name of giving you time and I could tell my masseuse wanted to leave. How can one be relaxed then? Not to mention their chananigans if you wanna cancel your membership. Try going to any Asian massage place for a true experience, thats just my opinion.

Very professional environment from the front counter to the service. Ladies are very attentive and with a great positive attitude. Very clean place as well! From the massage therapist experience ( Jedi ) has been very professional and knowledgeable. This is the only place I will go considering there are other ones around my house!

Deceptive Practices & they wont take ownership for it.When we signed up we were told we could cancel at any time and when we canceled we would have 6 months to use the remaining balance of credits.We canceled two months later as we didnt live close and when I made my last booking at another location (who were great and could see the error), they confirmed the credit. However AFTER my massage, I was told they couldnt apply it as you had to use it within 60 days. But they could see an issue as I shouldnt have been able to cancel.They called the Allen store and they immediate confirmed and said oh its one of those ones and myself and the Director of the other location that the Manager (who no longer worked there) who sold us the packages had been engaging in shady and deceptive sales tactics and were let go. She though wouldnt release the credit or help and that she would have to call the owner. There was no gap in the call but with both myself and the Director from the other store her story began to change and couldnt keep it straight. Suddenly the manager worked there again (who she has acknowledged told us wrong information to get us to sign up) and remembers telling us it was 60 days and then she has somehow called her owner while talking to me to explain the situation and said they werent willing to help. Eventually she started to question my integrity and called me a liar and hung up on the Director of the other store (who was calm and was offering solutions).They acknowledged we were given false information as a sales tactic, couldnt kept their story straight and wouldnt make it right.DO NOT GO HERE!!
I had a terrible experience, less than 10 minutes into my first (and only) massage I will ever have with Massage Envy, I stopped him asked that he step out and immediately got dressed. I expressed my concern to the manager that I felt the therapist was under the influence of something. A short time later she called me to inform me that Jeffery was having personal issues and not feeling well...although I want to believe that was the issue my gut tells me otherwise.I do not recommend!

Extremely dissatisfied!! I finally found a therapist I like and every time I schedule an appointment I get a call saying she will not be in. This time I scheduled an appointment a week ahead of time and I got a call again saying she will not be available Friday. I called again today to see if she was actually available, which she was I scheduled an appointment again only to receive a call this afternoon saying that she was again unavailable. Finally, I decided to speak with a manager to see why she what the problem is. The manager said that Bailey was not comfortable working on me. I never did anything inappropriate, I only gave her constructive criticism being a more experienced Licensed Massage Therapist myself. I liked her technique and all I told her was to figure out how to connect everything together instead of jumping from one place to the next. I dont see the harm in that and would rather have her explain that to me herself, than having to go through her manager to figure it out. The front desk LIED saying she wasnt available instead of telling me exactly why my appointment was cancelled. So instead of taking an appointment, youd rather lose money. I would have rather the therapist let me know that she doesnt want constructive criticism and take the appointment. I would be more than happy to just lay on the table and be worked on, without saying anything, rather than not have an appointment. Im very picky about who I receive massages from and when I find someone with GREAT TALENT id like to keep seeing them. I guess people cant take constructive criticism and will have to take my money elsewhere.
Miriam did a great job targeting the muscle groups I let her know need the most attention. I was caught off guard when I was done getting my massage and went to the reception desk. The Massage Envy website states for a 60 minute deep tissue massage costs $65. However, the receptionist said I owed $115 plus tax for my 60 minute deep tissue massage!! Of course I told the receptionist the website states I should owe $65 but the receptionist told me $65 is the membership rate!! I believe I was misinformed and misled. I will not go back to Massage Envy again!

I just had the privilege of speaking with the owner of this location and not only was she informative and professional she was also a woman of character that truly cares for her customers. It was a privilege to speak with her she had great clarity and knowledge regarding my situation and despite having had a previously poor experience she encouraged me in the right direction and I am thankful and appreciative for that. I would encourage anyone and everyone interested in finding massage to visit this location.
Jedidiah did a great job adjusting pressure, focusing on stiff/tight areas and customizing care during the session. He is personable and a skilled massage therapist. Definitely will visit again!
I’ve had a lot of experience with massages over the last twenty years… some good, some bad, and some exceptional on either end of the spectrum. The therapist who worked with me, Jedidiah, asked targeted questions and customized my session to address my sore muscles!
Mike is a great masseuse. He is dependable, asks if the level of pressure is good for me,, and uses more of the lotion that I get there than other masseuses. It can be frustrating to purchase a small bottle of lotion for the massage, and then we handed half of it back at the end of an hour massage.
This location is so unprofessional. They requested I transfer my membership and I agreed. I personally did a separate visit inside to transfer my membership and tried to do business with this location. Bad idea!!! I have been so patient with this location. I have watched the unprofessionalism of the front desk staff and once again over looked their foolishness multiple times. The operation is ran very poorly. I cannot believe I had the nerve to trust this location. My suggestion: Get a membership else where if you want to use Massage Envy. I do not trust Allen location. Therapist are fine but now my entire relationship with the franchise is ruined because of this small shop. Regretful that I tried to do business with this location. I have never had any issues with Massage Envy until I moved my membership to Allen. I was a member for almost 2 years.
I was not happy with the way my appointment was handled. They didn’t confirm my appointment. This caused me to miss 1/2 of my session. I was told that they would accommodate me, but didn’t. They say what you want to hear to get you in the door. It’s not about the customer it’s all about the business.
DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!! This location has taken money out of my account when they shouldn’t have MULTIPLE times. This last time, I changed my membership date because of the way our pay period falls. When I said it wasn’t going to be put back on for 3 days he said, oh no ma’am, it will be immediately! Well, 2 days later I call, and Joanna(sp) and Taryn(sp) the manager, acted like it wasn’t their problem. Joanna was even snappy with me. It’s my money! 65 dollars is a lot to some people. I don’t care if this makes me a Karen. People need to take responsibility for their actions.

I had a friend (29-year-old male) go to the location and the masseuse (Lars) during the massage; proceeded to tell my friend that he needed to get weight loss surgery because he was lazy and would never lose the weight. For starters Im not sure what kind of certifications you all have, to go around saying things. As a person in customer service, it your job to satisfy the customer not give you unprofessional opinion about things you know nothing about. Your associate has no reason to say something like that; he just needs to do the job he was being paid for and keep their comments to themself. It was his first and last visit.
They cant ever seem to get it together at this location!!! Booked a facial for my 13 year old daughter had a long conversation about expectations for a facial for a 13 year old girl......they booked a massage. Get there and was asked to reschedule with no apology for their mistake. Have never had a good experience with their customer service.
Prusha made my first chemical peel amazing! She calmed the nerves I had, whilst keeping up a fun conversation! Not to mention Tobi and Fatima of the front desk being so welcoming! On the way to making this place my home away from home!

Rude staff and honestly embarrassing. Was told one thing and then now something different. Had a massage booked under my membership and then was told I was going to be charged more. I hate writing bad reviews but this is the 3rd time this year Ive visited and every time the staff has been less and less customer service oriented. Today is the final day, will not be coming back.
I personally had a great experience, it was my first time going to this location and I had Joanna (I think thats how its spelled) as my massage therapist and she did more than great on the deep tissue massage. If I had the $ I would go once a week I definitely recommend her if you are looking for a deep massage.

This was my first visit to the spa in Allen and it was great! I went in for a massage and facial with Lois, she was very considerate, the massage was amazing and she was very knowledgeable in regards to the skin care products she uses and was able to guide me and give me great advice on my skin care. I highly recommend!
I was there on time but Daniel never showed up so I had to resched my appt to a wk later which really jacks my body up bc of my profession. It’s vital that I have massages every 2 wks. Side note: Daniel has never no called/no showed so I hope he’s ok. I’m only giving 2 stars bc he’s usually professional but nobody cld get a hold of him. Very strange.
Update 1/14/19Continued shady practices. I was charged again for services not received. Miraculously they found my number and called to let me know I was charged. The assistant mgr also called me to let me know corporate policy and the manager responded via email (photos attached).AVOID THIS LOCATION AND ITS SHADY PRACTICES.Avoid the steal your money scheme here. Called last week (1/2/19)to cancel my monthly contract which need to be canceled 10 days before my auto draft (1/12/19). Spoke with Lexi (asst manager). She stated I needed to come in to do a form which I couldnt I was in Arizona. She agreed to email me the form which she did. I went to fedex office printed, completed, and emailed back the form same day. Mind you my name is Kevin not Richard (pic attached)as her email stated, but I digress. I asked for confirmation of receipt of my completed form which she did.Why Im not happy:To finish up my business with this location I had a gift card with a balance. So I made an appointment with Sarah (great therapist) through Lexi (Asst manager) for 1/5/19 @1130. Ive had 5-6 other appointments in the last 2 months. No misses or cancellations.Fast forward to today:Walked in Lexi (asst mgr) greets me and tries to look up my appointment. She says it was for yesterday not today and that they charged my CC on file a no show fee.Ok cool no problem. Can you please reverse the fee. Use my gift card and we all it even. Which she did.What really irritated me was that she asked if I got a call from them . NO. Then she said oh we dont have your number on file.Hmmmm...but you have a completed contract including:NameAddressEmailCredit cardAnd PHONE NUMBERSo you can charge my CC but cant call me?I call BULL POOPAvoid this place and spend you $$$$ elsewhere.As a former manager of a retail establishment and current business executive to another manager own the mistake and make it right. I will make sure everyone I know that want a massage avoids this and all Massage Envy locations.
Worst experience ever!! I booked an appointment and literally within two minutes called them back to let them know that I want to cancel the appointment, they still charge me 50% of the fee. The team member lied to me saying that other member told me about the cancellation policy, I confronted her saying that no one did tell me that. Then her response was ok whatever we are still going to charge 50%. The place is not helpful or a considerate at all. I would highly recommend to stay away from the place.
I had a lovely self care Saturday with a massage and peel combo! Rachelle did an awesome job, paying attention to my trigger points. My esthetician Prusha was great as usual!
First scheduled couples massage was so relaxing and amazing. Second scheduled appointment they only scheduled me and not my husband, so we left. Third scheduled massage by the same guy was horrendous. And I left in more pain then what I came with lol..Not going back too inconsistent
HORRIBLE!Dont go here. My mother was visiting from out of state and transferred 2 massages to me, this transfer took place in person at the Allen store. I went ahead and booked a massage for later that day. When I came back for my massage, I was greeted by Shauna and had a massage by Sung. The massage was ok, but it was only 35 minutes long (an hour massage is supposed to be 50 minutes; love those math skills).I pointed this short massage out when I left and Shauna didnt seem very concerned.2 weeks later, I schedule my second massage. I actually spoke to Shauna and reminded her of the time I was shorted on my previous massage and asked that it be made up on this massage (is that asking too much?). Shauna said shed check with the manager and let me know when I showed up for my massage. The day before my massage I received a reminder phone call.Showed up for my massage. The wormy guy who said he was the manager said that they only allow 1 massage to be transferred every 6 months therefore they were not going to allow me to use my massage credit that day. I told him they had 5 (FIVE) opportunities to tell me of this policy. Needless to say, I did not receive a massage and I will not ever set foot in this place ever again.

Because of my wifes health, weve been investing in massage therapy for a long time, all of our experiences have been great, but this is by far the WORST Massage Envy branch weve ever been to. In stark contrast to the many others weve been to, they were thoroughly unprofessional.The female massage therapist named Samantha that treated my wife for 90 minutes was unbelievably, disturbingly unprofessional. She tried to take her towel off her front and acted like it was an accident. Her body tone, movement, non verbal communication and overall methodology was inappropriate, uncomfortable and wildly unprofessional.We almost wish she would have done something more tangible as we would then have grounds to press charges, but as it stands we have no objective evidence to prove her nasty, wrong, and emotionally disturbing behavior. My wife cried afterward and is severely emotionally disturbed.... Dont go here as long as its under current management or Samantha is there... bad news....
Ive been a member for a few months now and I went through a few therapists before I found heather. She is amazing. Today I went in after being unable to move my head for two days. She was able to work it out and Im feeling much better now.
Do not recommend this place! Had made an in person appointment with them and had to give my credit card to put on file. Had to canceled my appointment d/t emergency Did not get a massage from them but was charged for it. This is not okay!! I will be disputing this claim. Would not go back to this shady business

I have been a member since 2006 but since pandemic, no recognition of loyalty and upper management at this location and corporate leadership are seriously lacking. I have not had a returned call from the manager of this store or corporate for weeks. I am told there is now a new franchise owner.

Awful customer service!Called them about putting my monthly membership charges on hold after accumulating eight prepaid massage credits, they told me to come in person on a certain date. When I showed up that date, they told me it was tool late to put account on hold and I would be charged another month of $65.00 fee. Per front desk clerk, it was only manager who could override that draft but they were off on that day and no one else could do it. Promised that the manager would call me the next day with follow up status, never heard from them.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS. THEY ARE PRETTY HARD TO GET OUT OF!--FOLLOW UP - 6.22.2017--Owner response below states that someone from the clinic will be in touch - no one has ever tried to get a hold of me still, and its been five months since the incident. My impression is once they got my membership money and never had delivered any services for it, they could care less about anything else!

First of all I consider myself a connoisseur of massages and joined Massage Envy when they first opened the Allen Site. I have maintained my membership all this time until now, because any massage is better than no massage. Plus, I always had pre-paids on Envy’s books when I was running low on funds. This is a ok place if you want to be gently caressed. However, this place can not deliver anything close to a therapeutic massage, or any type of massage capable of releasing serious everyday tension. Customer Service at the front desk is just So-So. Management is horrible. Envy’s business model, policies and fine print in thier contracts are all as ridiculous as their suggested tips. When you are finally able to get someone to answer the phone, you have to book your massage days, or weeks in advance. Miss the appointment and you loose your monthly credited massage, (which are actually pre-paids automatically deducted from your bank). With more and more legitimate competition on every corner, I highly recommend almost any other Massage Business in Allen, Plano, Frisco and McKinney. I try out each new Massage Business searching for relief that I can not describe, but know it when I feel it. 9 times out 10, I can immediately find a cheaper masseuse, without needing a appointment, who is more appreciative of my tip, is not conservative with their pressure, (not lazy), who is willing to apply twice the amount pressure, (work it), in the correct spots, (without me having to tell them), and knows how to appropriately utilize their hands, fingers, thumbs and THIER feet to leave anyone feeling like a wet noodle. Granted you might not find all fluff Envy provides, but you might be real surprised at what you have been missing on your local corner. If your 5 year old gives you a headache after a week and you want quiet, caressing, hour, alone, then this is your place, (and if you only have an hour to spare). Go else where in Allen for a serious 90 minute therapeutic massage after working in the yard, or doing anything else strenuous. Basically, any local foot massage site in Allen, or the massage chair at Mall in Plano or in Frisco, is guaranteed to be at least twice as good as Massage Envy can provide, without an appointment. No Evey here, just disappointment after disapointment. Ditto for the Massage Envy on Preston Road ran by the same owner.

I do not recommend this place, as I made the appointment and they asked me for the card details and then charged me for it as I couldn’t make it due to some important things that came in. I did not even get the reminder for the appointment. This is not fair! I don’t expect to be charged when I do not show up and then when I did show up they charged me again. This is truly a shady place and would not recommend it.

Last time I went they said I have been already booked for 4th of next month and when I called to change the appointment I was told that there is no booking for me???? What if I showed up for a massage that day???And the front desk asked me to pay when it was a free massage, I had to tell her and then she checked something and said ya it is free...
