Soho Nail Bar

I went here with my cousin and the lady that had me was so rude to me. I’m not sure why she didn’t like me but she made fun of my feet to the point where other customers were laughing, and then she made a comment about the nail polish I choose. I felt so picked on and I’m shy so I didn’t say anything. If my cousin wouldn’t have been the one paying, I would have walked straight out. Even my cousin told me after this visit that the lady was really mean to me. I stopped going to get my feet done completely after this. Thanks a lot. I have told everyone I know about this incident and everyone has stopped going to this location. It’s never ok to make a client feel bad about themselves. Rude!!

This was my second visit to this establishment. I have to say that this is by far the best nail salon that I have visited thus far. The service is better than perfect. They have so many colors to chose from and they are arranged in a very organized way. It is easy to match your NexGen with your regular schedule polish or gel, too.Update: This salon in still my favorite by far. The service is always top notch. MB is very detailed oriented and careful about getting the shape the way that you like it. She is the first nail tech that can do my nails in a way that they last 3 wks or longer. She is amazing at doing designs as well.

Excellent color options, service and attention to detail will have me there every time. Ask for Tony! He’s my favorite nail artist and can work with any ideas you have. Every tech I’ve had though was really really good. They take the time to remove the cuticles, and are very attentive.

I’ve been coming to SoHo Nail Bar since I moved here two years ago and everyone here is so kind and helpful. I’ve always trusted MB, Sandy, Danny, Bridgette (I feel like I’m forgetting other people) to do my nails and I hesitate when someone unfamiliar does them. Tony did my nails today and did an incredible job!!

Probably one of the best experiences i’ve ever had at a nail salon. super friendly and helpful staff. they were able to recreate my reference perfectly and my nails look stunning. thank y’all so much!!! I definitely will be coming back every month for new designs. 10/10 if you want your nails looking good for any occasion - this is the place to have them done at!!!!

I absolutely love SOHO! David always greets everyone with a smile and makes each person feel welcome. MB is the best nail tech that I’ve ever had! She does excellent every time! I’ve also had numerous pedicures here and every time I walk away extremely pleased! Best nail salon in Allen!

I went to SoHo Nail Bar for the first time today. I had an excellent experience. The staff was polite and friendly. The salon was clean and organized. No weird chemical smell. Kenny was my nail technician and he did a beautiful job on my nails. I went really short Halloween inspired ombré nails and that is just what I got! I love the shape of my nails. I’ve never had a set of nails that were shaped this perfectly. I am so happy with my nails and I will definitely be coming back to see Kenny!

Service was great, BUT they are charging a$3.50 credit card processing fee, which is too bad because everyone uses their debit card. Wont return while they charge this, too many other salons available that are not passing this to the customer who, by the way, is already paying a high enough price for the services received.

This is the second time I went to Soho Nail Bar! Got my nails done again with Danny! He is go great and does exactly what I want! Plus, my nails stay good for at least 3 weeks!

Hi. I am not one to go out of my way to write google reviews but I think this experience should be shared to people who value cleanliness. To start off I was told that solid powder would be $40, and French tip (coffin) is $50. I had shown a picture from their Instagram for reference. So I decided to go with white powder and it rang up to $50.... The guy said it was because of the shape (coffin)..... Well if that was the case, I would have gotten French tip. Where are the prices listed? Anyways, during my manicure the technician dropped her tool before applying it to the machine and did not bother sanitizing it. She filed my nails with a used nail file and buffer that were clearly worn out. I left with two nail cuticles bleeding and I’m hoping that they don’t get infected because they are still red almost 2 days later. Please use clean and new products moving forward. I will not be visiting again.

I been going there since the spring of 22 and I love Danny. He’s the best and he’s very fast. My nails usually last about 3 weeks.

Front desk was nice, but this was the fastest anyone has done my nails. Workers in the back rushed and cut my boyfriends toe, so he bled, will not come again.

My nails are perfect! I asked and Tony delivered! I will be back!

First I was told a price when I entered and charged a different one when I was going to pay because I asked for a “design”. I just got a discount of $5. My nails peeled off after two hours.I went to get them fixed today and all they did was put gel on top on the powder I had before.

I love SoHo. They are always very accommodating. It is easy to get the time and day you want. I get both pedicures and manicures. Danny does my manicures. He’s wonderful and so nice. Lynn does my pedicures. She does an amazing massage. David manages the salon. He’s the first person you see and he could not be nicer or more efficient. I’ve been to a lot of salons, and this one is my favorite.

This place is the BEST in Allen, DFW area!! Please give them your business! I use to go to Oscars nails before it shut down. If you want even better service, Soho nail bar is it! Bridget completed my beautiful manicure for New Years eve and Jenny completed my hot aqua blue pedicure! Vivi completed my hot towel massage on my hands! These ladys are amazing! Dont miss out! They also gave me and my sister discounts for being educators! I LOVE all they have to offer!! Dont go anywhere else else if you want the best in the DFW area!!! ❤❤❤

I’m not one to write reviews, but I had a terrible experience I have to share.Schedule appointment online, which went well, but when I arrived they had no idea who my appointment was with. So, with an annoyed attitude, they sent me with this lady to who was extremely rude and short with me. She rushed me when choosing the service I wanted and did my nails and feet so quick that it turned out terrible with spots and inconsistencies. Not only was the employee rude the whole time, she didn’t do half of what I asked for. Finally, when she was done painting my nails and feet, she forced me to pay and then have a seat so the polish can dry. I waited there for 20 mins and finally realized she left without telling me. I had to ask someone if they could redo some of my nails.Terrible staff, never returning. Would not recommend.

I love to come here to get my nails done with my daughter. The service is great as well as a very relaxing environment. They do the best they can to make children feel comfortable. There is a huge selection of nail colors and offer other services too.

Ive been coming to the nail salon at this location for the last three months. Now under new management and name changed to Soho Nail Bar, I couldnt be more impressed it the positive changes and experience. There is definitely an upscale vibe here from the moment you walk in the door. The gentleman that works behind the front counter is both friendly and professional. My favorite technicians for Nexgen have been Tom and Danny. Both have great attention to detail and ensure a great job. Ill keep coming back for sure and highly recommend this location for all your nail needs!

I misread the hours and walked in 15 minutes before they closed (thinking I had over an hour) and even then they still took their time and did a FANTASTIC job. I’ve never loved my nails so much before. I got them done February 13th and I’m just now (March 7th) starting to think they look like I should get them redone soon. The salon was so beautiful and clean and they had a million colors to choose from. And everyone I talked to was really friendly and polite. I could not have loved my experience more!

This is hands down my wife and Is favorite nail bar. Even men can get mani pedis 🤷🏼‍♂️ I enjoy them and my feet thank me as Im on my feet most days for work.Their service is bar none the best we have had. Their expert nail technicians do a fantastic job and the massages they give for manicures and pedicures make you melt into the massage chairs.

I’ve been coming here for months since I moved to the area and I absolutely love this place! I always get nexgen and have never been disappointed. There is such a huge selection of colors! Danny is great, and I love the guy at the front , he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The environment is gorgeous and relaxing. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing nail salon!

I really wanted to like this place. The guy at the front desk was extremely nice, however the nail tech were horrible. To start off, after less than 1 week my gel manicure started lifting. I understand that sometimes gel manicures last about to weeks but I shouldn’t have any lifting after 4 days. Second, the ladies keep pressuring you into getting a more expensive service. I just wanted a basic gel manicure and pedicure. They continuously kept asking me why I wanted the basic, and that I should try something else. Maybe if they weren’t so pushy I would’ve gotten a more expensive service. To say the least, I will not be returning.

People here are very rude and don’t listen to what you want for your nails and when you try to correct them, they get mad at you. The front desk guy was also rushing me to hurry and make a decision when I’m the one who is paying and trying to get my nails done? Very rude customer service, will never come here again.

I’ve never gotten my nails done before but they did really good on my nails so I had to write something. The people here are super friendly and helpful as well. Aaron did my nails and he did amazing!!

I’ve recently just started going to this place after being loyal to another local salon who began to overcharge me for items I had not been charged for. I was so disappointed in them that I decided to make a change to Soho as it was close to my house. All I can say is the two times I have been there, for nextgen nails - regular and ombré, I have had a positive experience. The young man at the front desk is friendly and helpful. I know this place has changed management so I hope previous clients will come back and give this new salon a chance.

I absolutely love this place and I have a recommended several people to it. However the last time I went someone else did my nails and I was not happy at all but they had me come back and they fixed it at no cost. Ive been going to Soho for several years now for services. Theyre always professional, clean and my pedicurists Jenny, her customer care and service is TOP TIER!! I will follow her where ever she goes!😊👍🏾

I have been going to Soho for years and they are always amazing.

I scheduled an appointment for an ombré French manicure today. I was promptly greeted and seated upon arrival. After a few minutes of being serviced, it became clear to me that the technician has little to no experience with doing ombré French. I was vocal about my dislikes and she tried her best to adjust. It never quite worked out though. I now have overly thick polish, due to having too many layers applied. The ombré is not ombré, it’s pretty much pink. And she ended up cutting my real nail that was underneath a tip on 1 of my pinky fingers. My advice to the salon is to assign techs who actually can perform the requested services, that way you’re not wasting your customer’s time and I’m not leaving feeling unhappy with the final result.

The front desk staff’s customer service is poor at best. I’ve made appointments that they’ve confirmed to walk in and learn that the times they confirmed were actually booked with the nail tech. Additionally, they don’t apologize for their own mistakes. I’ve seen people leave because of the wait and have never seen them apologize to anyone.

So have been searching for a nail salon for months and months as Im never happy. I found this place by accident. Im very impressed, gentleman on front desk was extremely helpful and made me feel welcome. He then introduced me to Danny. Danny did the wrong shape and quickly soaked it off and re-started without me asking, very kind indeed. I absolutely love my shape and nexgen so happy and will be back! Thank You!

The guy at the front desk is awesome, everyone is so kindly but unfortunately I haven’t had a good experience. First of all every time I had my nexgen I need to go back and fix them for free cause they cracked in less than a week. The last time the guy at the front told me to change the person and I did it and was GREAT but I don’t think that I can go back.This comment is just to share my experience cause at the beginning I thought it was the product but now I know it’s not and I don’t want to reveal her name cause she’s a great person.

Great new nail salon in Allen! I had been going to another but after ownership change some of my favorite techs went to Soho so I decided to give it a try. Been coming here for a few months now and never disappointed. You should check them out!

Pretty disappointed; the nail tech Christina cut 2 fingers and acted like it was nothing. I went for Nexgen nails and pedi for my Birthday and ended up leaving in pain(mind you it’s 4 hours later and my fingers are very sore).Then to not even discount to make a wrong turn right was even worse. When a nail tech gets to the point they are saying sorry every 3-4 mins there might be a problem. Especially when her metal power file knocks into my $26,000 wedding ring and again I got a “sorry”.As far as the pedicure, it was great! I then became alarmed when the water wouldn’t empty from the bowl and they brought her a long metal rod to stick down the drain to see if it would drain, all while I’m still in the chair. Happy Birthday to me :(

The most PAINFUL manicure I have ever had. My nail tech tore up my cuticles, leaving a nick or cut on almost all of my fingers. At one point she made me bleed so bad that she had to put liquid bandaid on my finger in order to finish the manicure. Extremely disappointed with the end result, and I will not ever be returning to this nail salon. If you enjoy having skin on your fingers... don’t come here.

I’ve been here over 10 times and it’s been wonderful every time. There has never been a wait, they are super sanitary and professional. And my polish lasts for weeks. I go here every time I’m in the Mckinney area.

Great nail place! Of course I have go to technician but when I get someone else they are great too. The owner is very nice, talking with customers. I really like their selection of colors!

So disappointed! The nail techs were stupid enough to say extremely nasty things about my friend. Guess they didn’t realize that my friend speaks Vietnamese although she told them she is Vietnamese. The manager acknowledged that those women talk like that all the time but think it’s nothing since most people don’t understand. I’d rather not go to a place where it’s acceptable to treat customers so poorly!! The manager did nothing to make the situation right.

I had a wonderful experience. Danny and Linh were amazing. I had nails and pedicure done. There massages were wonderful. I highly suggest seeing those two nail techs.🤗

David is such a sweet heart always helps me pick out my colors and makes sure Im comfortable everytime Hanna and Anna are my go to girls they are very sweet and thoughtful.. The whole place is a vibe youll never forget ❣Not to mention the place is always clean and sanitize!!!!

I came here and got a pedi done for the first time at this place my polish chipped when I left so then I came back to get it fixed and then again it chipped agian so I didn’t have to come back to fix it again same day so I came back Monday to get it fixed the kid at the front desk stated that because it’s been a few days that he would charge me for a polish change whic is dum because I told him I am going to pick the same color again and it was only the tip of both of my big toes that chipped not the whole thing then he went and told me well you need to let it dry for at least 30 minutes so it won’t chip he said that day you left right away sorry I had to go to work in an hour I don’t have time to be sitting here waiting and I did let it dry for over an hour both times and it still chipped maybe get better polish because I haven’t had this problem anywhere else rude as hell

The “manicurist” cut my fingernails WAY too short. Be sure to tell them exactly what you want before getting worked on. My ignorance has led to some painful fingers.
