OPIUM DISCOTEC ARLINGTON

I live 3 miles away and have a infant and this club CONSTANTLY wakes him up and at 1-2am theyre still going. Its the same beat over and over again and its so inconsiderate. If I could cut their power myself I would. They have ZERO concern for peoples sleep and the fact theyre waking up my child with their trash music is infuriating. Im in a nice well established neighborhood and weve never had sound issues or any issues until they opened up. Every night that they wake up my child, Ill be leaving a review. This is absurd.

I live over a mile away and can still hear the music from this place like it is in my own backyard. Incredibly inconsiderate for the people that live around this place- especially at 1 and 2 in the morning. This happens constantly and I am constantly having to block out the noise to try and sleep. Ridiculous!!!!

This business has been blasting music nearly every weekend well past the noise ordinance cutoff and well into the middle of the night, sometimes until 3 or 4 in the morning. It is SO LOUD that Ive read complaints about the music reaching as far as 6 miles away to Viridian to the west and the Irving border to the east. They DO NOT CARE about the noise pollution theyre causing or how its affecting the tax-paying residents that have the misfortune of living within a 10-mile radius of this hellscape.If you happen to see this and youre one of the people whos been wondering where the mysterious Latin music with drums bass and obnoxious vocals on a mic, that seems to fade in and out throughout the nights on weekends, is coming from, IT IS COMING FROM OPIUM DISCOTEC. The next time it happens, please go outside and record the god-awful music booming over your home, call the police and report them specifically (make sure to give them *their* address), and then forward the evidence youve documented to the city of Arlington under a noise ordinance violation.

I wish there was a no star option!! This place is ridiculously loud and they do not care about the surrounding community. Many nights of no sleep due to their inconsideration and un responsible actions. I am going to start a petition to shut this place down!!

Absolutely inconsiderate business.Blasting music way pass 1:30am.The business owner should be stripped over there business license!!!!This business needs to leave our neighborhood.It provides no value to anyone!!

This place is so loud, we live several miles away and can hear it.How are the people who are there able to stand that volume?Terrible.City of Arlington needs to step in.

I read the complaints so when I go I bring my ear protection and I didnt use them because the music wasnt that loud and I use to work there most warehouse and bars in that area so they need to stop crying 🤣

This place is playing music so loud at 1 am that our entire neighborhood is complaining about it. We are 2 miles away and can hear it in our bedroom as we try to sleep

Todays Day is Dannys Trejos low rider event, I expected a better, clean, and organized place. There are no programs to show who will be performing or times of performance. They are overcharging for admission. Security personnel was directing people to a warehouse parking lot and charging cars $10 dollars to park. Not knowing that they had no permission to park there. Then, two trucks started towing cars. What a shame to have an event with all these circumstances. K Onda Raza !!!

The music here is insanely loud. We can hear it from over a mile away. Can’t be safe for the ears of the patrons.

TL;DR - Crowd was happy, spacious facilities, Spanish, not a lot of younger clientele.Went here on a Saturday night, it looked a bit dodgy initially, but there turned out to be lots of people and they all looked like they were having fun. There were lots of places to sit, pool tables, and a huge dance floor. But it wasnt really my crowd, I dont speak Spanish and that makes it hard to mingle here because the clientele primarily consist of those who can speak it. Also, there did not appear to be many people who were particularly young and my age. I just wasnt the target audience but it looked like a blast for everyone else.

It’s an ok club for the older generation. Didn’t really play songs from this decade, just old school music. The bartenders where quick with your orders so that was good. I probably go back if I go with my in-laws or my older friends.

It’s so nasty here, literally saw a roach craw out of the wall and run along where everyone’s beer was. The speakers half way worked during the concert. Just no.

I was treated with a great time, great place to go on a date and have some drinks, chill in the VIP lounge and dance on the floor.

VIP are was very hot, service was terrible, wasnt impressed with sound quality.

I was at a Holy Land presentation, a rock group from Spain, the group was very cool, but the security didnt. A young man who was behind me took a fire extinguisher and started spraying it at the people and many people thought it was smoke from what they throw. at the dances but it was the stiguidor chemist and security didnt even realize it and I had to notify someone from security if they didnt even do anything thats why I give them two stars 🤩 they dont deserve more

I went to the Cazabe concert and they charged me 20 dollars more for the tickets. Just because because they could 🤷

Terrible service we paid to see ah flex as it started at 9 and nothing appeared we waited until 12 we only paid for nothing the truth is I dont recommend it the drinks are not good you just pay for nothing 👎🏻 no one deserves to be cheated like that :(

Appalling!!!! I feel cheated! The tickets they sold and the production was about Jay Wheeler, they were supposed to be his songs with DJ Susie and nothing! The time was 10 pm and he only came out to play music at 1.30 am! And no Jay Wheeler!! And the DJ at the disco seemed like he was learning to play music, the mixes were bad! The waitresses are cool, nothing more!

The place is large and has many services!

I went to the event he organized. Where was the Torito. And it was really bad. The woman at the bar who has an asymmetrical haircut. Rude and ignored what we asked. The air conditioning very bad. The screens did not transmit the event, the sound was terrible. Decaying real estate and no cleaning. Smoking is not allowed in closed public places and bathrooms filled with cigarette smoke. Very bad experience, I do not recommend it at all in any way.

A small place, little organization, no ventilation, unpunctuality, terrible audio and really not recommended if you go it is at your own risk. The only thing that saved it is that the bands that were there gave their all.
