Fraudulent business model. They will try to sell you on the benefits of their membership.Heres my experience,Nearly impossible to get a massage appointment, you will need to book a month out . If you have a job possibly longer as they have nowhere near enough staff to accommodate the memberships they sell especially considering the average employed persons availability during the week.Your therapists will likely cancel on you last minute leaving you with another 3 or 4 week wait with zero compensation yet if you cancel your appointment because you wake up with covidd and decide to be responsible they will gladly charge you anyways.They refused to cancel my contract despite the fact that they couldnt offer me the monthly massage I was paying for and refused to refund me the nearly 500 dollars for services that they were unable to provide do to their inability to staff the business correctly.
I visited from Kansas City at this Arvada location. I had a facial booked with Carla. I have had facials before, and this was next level!Carla had my mind meditating and face glowing!Cannot say enough good things and if I lived there, I would absolutely be her regular!
Just stay away. You are stuck in a membership where you get one credit a month that you can never use. And then the credits keep building up and you have to pay a fee to stop accumulating more credits (but if you freeze them you cant make any bookings) so you are stuck in this loop where you can never leave because you have the credits that you paid for and cant use but if you cancel you lose them. See the picture for a sample of their availability.FYI: I already went directly to the franchisee and they were not helpful
Every service I have received here has been great. Divine and Kale have helped me stay moving between my massages and my skin feels absolutely amazing after the peel I just had with Samantha. If I could give all the staff Ive seen here 10 stars I would!
This location in particular has a manager by the name of Brittany that is rude, condescending and a total hag. A couple months ago I blooked a whole morning for services at this location. One hour before the appointment, Massage Envy cancelled me because someone called in sick. No compensation. No apology. Three weeks ago I had a massage appointment but this time my wife became so ill I had to take her to the ER and I called Message Envy to cancel my appointment. They charged me for the entire visit. DOUBLE STANDARD. This location and staff is horrible. We supported them during Covid restrictions by Not canceling our memberships. Now we are going to cancel because they are greedy and just do not care about the Customer. Their therapists have told me how inept management is at this location. Maybe corporate can be of assistance. Do not go here. You will be disappointed. Take your Dollars to a place that cares.
So I have been going to massage envy for quite a few years now and usually get massages. But I have tried the percussion and stretch session with Divine at the Arvada location and I have been pleasntly surprised, very friendly and she knows what she is doing. I highly recommend a session with Divine.
In the West Arvada location it is getting almost impossible to get a massage appointment, l have to go and schedule in person (so inconvenient) dont even try to schedule an appointment by phone, every time l call l get the voice mail, l leave a message but no one returns my calls. I can never get in and they keep sending me to another location 30 minutes away ( so inconvenient) this location is only 5 minutes away from my home. Why would l go to the one 30 minutes away??? If l cancel my membership l will lose my 5 massages so they keep scheduling me a month away so l keep paying but l can not get in, it is a not ending story. And if l get in, 50% of the time they call to cancel and they can not reschedule right away. This is a really bad company. I cant not even give my massages away to another family member because you have to pay a transfers fee and you can only do it once every 6 months. They are very dishonest and they dont care about their clients. Also be aware that Massage Envy advertise and charge you for 1 hr massage but you only get 50 minutes and expect you to tip at least 20.00 dollars. I felt very uncomfortable on my last massage, the massage therapist was not wearing a mask and when l ask if she was fully vaccinated she responded in a very defensive way that she was not going to disclose that information. I doble mask and felt very uncomfortable during my 45 minutes appointment (not even 50 minutes). She was running late and that is all l got.Do not get a membership, you will lose time and money. I definitely dont recommend this company! I should have read all the terrible reviews before l sing up myself for the monthly membership.
Cant recommend this place enough. Great services overall. As an avid hiker/kayaker Kales guided stretches and tension gun sessions have made a massive improvement with how I feel on a day to day basis. Thanks again to kind front office staff that made this recommendation (Cara.)
My wife and I have been members for several years now. It has become nearly impossible to make and keep appointments with them. Often they cancel and aren’t able to reschedule. The membership bills me monthly for 1 massage each, but they have been unable to keep these appointments and our credits pile up more than we can use them. Finally, today; finished my final credit and will not be returning. Do yourself a favor and spend more money at a more professional spa. You’ll be happier in the long run.
There is nothing more relaxing than getting stretched by Divine! I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone regardless of age, fitness level or prior injuries. She really does her due diligence to learn about your body/injury history to tailor the experience so that you get the most out of it!
I visited this location initially for my first ever massage based on schedule availability and price, and have since returned based on the great experience I had. The front office staff are all friendly and helpful. My massage therapist both times was Lucy. Lucy made me feel comfortable and thoroughly explained the process at my first visit. Lucy is very knowledgeable and great at what she does! I also appreciate the add-on options to enhance your experience, I personally recommend the aromatherapy. I will definitely be returning to this ME location thanks to the great staff!*My only complaint is that you can hear conversations from neighboring rooms and the hallway, which can be distracting while youre trying to relax.
I have been a member here for several years, without problems. Recently however, the front desk seems to be unable to make an appointment correctly and management does not seem to care. This past June, when I received my reminder, they had put me in for 8 PM instead of 8 AM. I ended up not being able to get that massage. Most recently, I went for my 2 pm massage in October. When I got there, the manager (or owner) told me my appointment was at 1:30. When I told her that was not correct, and my reminder email even said 2 pm, she became condescending. She asked the therapist if he would be willing to work through his lunch to accommodate me. Any place that cannot get a simple schedule correct, and would make their employees work through breaks to accommodate poor scheduling is NOT a place to endorse. I am appalled at the attitude from management. Go to another location or company altogether.
Made the mistake of singing a contract with Arvada being my closest location. I have called no less than 3 times to schedule and never received a call back. Nice that they get your money for a whole year (if you can get them to actually cancel it without a problem...good luck) but you cant seem to get them to respond to you. Ive had to go out of my way to the Westminster location because I was just calling around to random ME locations that actually answered the phone. Dont waste your time. There are SO many other pleasant Arvada massage places to give your money to, Calm Spirit or Hand and Stone have been my replacements without an aggressive contract or blood in blood out agreement.
Had 2 scheduled appointments in a row cancelled on me. But they sure were able to call me the day before and tell me about the cancellation policy and what they charge if I cancel. Then, they cancel on me the day of....TWICE. It shouldnt be this hard to try and pamper myself and get a little stress relief. Would not recommend at this point.
Ive been going here for years and have been really happy with my therapist Lucy. Yes, Ive had many over the years due to turnover (it happens everywhere). She modifies pressure based on my verbal feedback and really knows her stuff! The front desk is efficient and pleasant. I agree that it can be difficult to get an appt unless you schedule way in advance. Online appts would be nice so I can schedule and change without having to call.
I have been a member for almost 8 years and suddenly have been charged way more than my agreement. Not only that when I went to cancel suddenly I had to fill out a form that nobody told me about when I called to find out what to do, and was Charged for my next session even though I cancelled before it came through. Plus I now have 12 1/2 built up and 60 days to use! I would never recommend this company as they have not been precessional about it and told me to refer to my agreement which was signed nearly 8 years ago. Yet they didn’t hold their end of the agreement for the amount charged.Please go somewhere else when considering a massage.
Lisa provides an amazing massage! She listens to what your needs are and focuses on what you want done. Highly recommend her as a massage therapist.
Now under new ownership/management, this location is top notch in service and cleanliness. The front desk was friendly, prompt and informative. The space was clean in the lobby and the rooms I visited. My massage therapist was AMAZING (and Ive had a lot of massage) and my esthetician for my facial knew exactly what she was doing, and provided a supremely relaxing experience, too! I was traveling through, but if I lived near the area, this location would definitely keep my membership going.
The front desk girls, Melissa and the very sweet girl who was pregnant wee amazing and so sweet. Two stars for them. Worst. Massage. Ever.My fiance had about 5 massages built up when we went to terminate his contract, so luckily I was able to use one of them. I had their therapist Mike when I went in. We were getting our engagement pictures done the next do I wanted to release some of my stress and I was really looking forward to this.I get massages every single week at my work so I know the difference between good and bad. Mike was massaging me like my fiance would, I actually think my fiance would have done better. Mike went over every single spot 17 times, I counted. I guess that is one way to waste an hour. I could feel the energy he was giving out, it was as if this was the last place in the world he wanted to be. I asked for deep tissue and I was pretty much a cat and was being pet the entire time too.I honestly thought about ending the session early, and now I am kicking myself for not ending it.The therapists also spent about 10 minutes talking to the front desk staff after their breaks and Mike was talking to about 3 other therapists outside my door when I came out of the massage. Just an awkward establishment.
This place has really gone downhill with the best therapists leaving. My husband made an appt for later the same day as he was having back trouble. Shortly after making the appt, he had an urgent call that he had to tend to and so he called to cancel the appt. His multiple calls went to voicemail and he left messages. The charged against his account for a cancelled appt even though the appt was only made that day and he repeatedly attempted to cancel. The manager refused to communicate and made her front desk girl try to explain that since 24 hour notice wasnt given for cancellation the charge against his account would stand. The appt wasnt even made 24 hours in advance, how could he possibly cancel at least 24 hours in advance. So they screwed us out of one appt, but we will never go back to that location so how much did they really gain.
Massages are decent but during the COVID-19 shutdown they totally lost me as a customer. I had a monthly membership. They were closed by a stay at home order March 26th, 2020. I was unable to use my March massage, and as of Apr 17th, they are still closed and it looks like they will be all of April at least.Are they extending your membership for free to cover the month, or more, they are closed and you cannot use the service? No. If you want to keep your credits you have to keep paying for a membership. My membership ends May 21st, so unless I want to sign up for 6 more months I will either lose the March, Apr, and May massages Ive paid for or possibly have 2-3 weeks to take 3 massages. I dont need or want 3 massages back to back, and when they reopen who knows what availability will be like.They totally mishandled things and essentially am ripping me off for half of my 6 month membership. Avoid at all costs they are not a reputable operation.
I had read several bad reviews of this location and was a bit nervous to go there, but I had a prenatal massage with Eileen on Friday and she was phenomenal! I like a lot of pressure, and Eileen was able to deliver a perfect massage. She found and worked on some really sore spots in my back. I will definitely go back to see her!
There are some really fantastic therapists here (Jeremy, Amber, and Lisa come to mind) but an hour massage is actually only 50 minutes and and hour and a half is only 80 minutes. They dont start on the hour (It doesnt matter what time get there, they dont even come out to take you back until after the hour begins) and they always end five minutes early. If they advertised as such I would have no issue with it, but really its false advertisement. For that reason alone I wont renew my membership when there are a ton of places that do the same or better pricing for 60 minutes of hands on time.
Very friendly staff and wonderful therapists. Ive never had an issues with anyone being rude to me, which is a plus due to the lack of great customer service now and days. Ive learned that I do need to call ahead of time (especially on the weekends) to book appointments and thats okay because my therapist is always worth booking ahead of time. Ive referred family and friends here and will continue to do so, not to mention, the location is wonderful!
I would like to add to my previous review-I just came from another location, and not only did they see me and were very friendly and accommodating, but they were also appalled at how I was treated here. They said they frequently receive complaints and clients from this location.First of all, I have given other Massage Envy locations 5 stars, and been very happy with them. I have had multiple bad experiences at this one. For one thing, I havent gone since last October because when I left that appointment, my face was swollen for hours, and bruised. I have pictures. It was not a pleasant experience, at all. But out of necessity, because of my shoulder, I made an appointment early on a Saturday with the guy Michael, that had previously smashed my face. He was the only one available, and thats making a lot of sense now. Today he refused to see me because I coughed, and I casually mentioned that I had been sick- 3 WEEKS AGO! just had a lingering cough. Thank you Michael for ruining my Mothers day weekend. I will NOT be returning to this location. Theres a reason it only has 3 stars before this review.
This place is just awful... The massage therapists are OK but the staff and management is very unprofessional, unreasonable, and just not really with it... I would certainly not recommend going to this particular location to anyone. My wife bought me a gift card, and they now will not let me book an appointment to use it. They say they need a card # on file, even though I will not be using one. I simply do not want them to have my card number on file, and that is certainly my right. I have also had other problems with this place in the past... Avoid this location, go somewhere else!
I have two massage gift cards that I have not been able to use in over 2 years...every time I call for a massage, Im told they are completely booked. I have tried weekdays and weekends.At this point, I might as well just throw away the gift cards....
I had Divine today for a stretch and RTR. It was amazing, I now have full range of motion and can’t wait to get back in. Kara at the front desk was very cheerful and helpful.
This place is an absolute nightmare to get into. Even if you call several days in advance! I have 12 sessions that thank goodness roll over but solely because they can NEVER fit me in. If you want to get in call the Lakewood massage envy they must be run differently or go sone where else for your massage. Im sick of being turned away
Left a voicemail, never received a call back. The only way to book an appointment is to hope for a cancellation, but that is very rare. They do not have any availability on the website. Dont bother with a membership because there is no way to get an appointment.
The massage was medicore to say the least and the $40 dollar additional fee was absolutely not acceptable.I work nights in need of a good massage so I didnt ask questions just assumed the fee was the same as before. Will not visit Massage Envy again.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff! We are very comfortable taking our furry son there. Dr. Campbell was awesome and listened to us which is such an important part of the customer service. We will be back :-)
I read the reviews and was leery about coming to this location but I have nothing but nice things to say about the front staff and therapist. They were all very kind and accommodating. Michael was great. I will return here for future sessions.
Ill call days in advance and they can never get me in. They say they are completely booked. I never have this problem at other locations such as the Belmar location. Belmar can get you in same day most of the time. Its just unfortunate and frustrating because the Arvada location is closer to me.
So I pay a monthly subscription and ive been cancelled here twice because one reason a therapist decided to cancel a session on there birthday I get its your birthday but probably shouldnt have worked that day and I pay money here and it just to me I feel its on there time no the costumers .

Thats was absolutely wonderful she talk through every procedure before she did them she reassured me of any products that might not be for me she examined my skin before applying any products make sure that I was not allergic to anything and the room was just so wonderful to come and warm everything was just the right temperature Ive had facial massages before and the steamer scold my face so I really appreciate that for keeping me relax and making sure everything was as it should have been before she began her facial massage
Ive been calling to book an appointment for a week now and no one returns the call and online booking isnt available. Not sure whats going on, but I would say they arent open for business despite Google saying they are open.

Amazing staff, called to schedule an appt with someone specialized in rhematoid arthritis and I actually spoke with the manager who also has ra, she scheudled me for an appt this saturday...She was awesome and I cant wait for my appt!!!
They canceled my appointment 15 minutes before my appointment while I was driving there. I’ve had this scheduled for two months. Needlesstosay, I’m pretty upset.
Very poor massueses overall, and overall customer service fair. Not worth my money for the membership. Hard to schedule with a decent massues.
Don’t bother with this location. Only one good therapist left, Lucy, who is impossible to book because they are understaffed and the front counter staff is a joke.
