I have had some wonderful massage therapists at this location, but William is my favorite. He listens with an acute ear and has a great intuition with the body. Very experienced and I completely bliss out. So grateful to have found him and this location for regular self-care!

Kristen was amazing! I have been a member for a year and she is the best I have worked with. I did 90 minutes medium pressure and felt so relaxed walking out of there. She was very professional and interactive to make sure I was getting what I wanted.

Christina was amazing. Very intuitive with her body work and really helped me relax and feel much better after the session. I would recommend anyone to try Christina!

Ashley is a great massage therapist she is thoughtful and listens to your needs. She pays special attention To your requests and is always dropping in with you to make sure you have the right pressure. I am glad to have found my new regular person at ME Asheville South. Absolutely love Benji and William! Both are excellent at working out my terrible knots while also being gentle and explaining their process. Both have been very responsive to my needs when Ive had to ask for a tissue or a change in the concentration area for a session. Would highly recommend either one of these gentlemen if you need relief without tons of pressure!

I’m new to the area & was given a gift card. I scheduled an hour massage appointment. I arrived exactly at the schedule time & was given a tablet to complete information ( should’ve been given the option to complete online prior to the appointment or told at the time of scheduling that it would be taken out of the massage time). As soon as the massage therapist(Bailey) introduced herself she said that our time would be cut short because of the time spent completing their forms on the iPad (10min) & it would be around a 40min massage. I wasn’t offered hot stones or anything. The massage oil & bed were cold. I mentioned it to the front desk but they didn’t seem to care & asked if I wanted leave a gratuity & book another appointment. Perfect example as to why it’s not worth going to a franchise for self care.

Tyler was amazing. Very calming voice, very informative and therapeutic. Also very respectful. He knew where I needed the most pressure without me even telling him. Definitely will be returning

I unfortunately have been dealing with positional & horizontal vertigo since July. I canceled some of my massage appointments until the vertigo was mild. I saw Amy on 8/21/24, & she worked on my areas that were tight from sitting so much. I highly recommend Amy. I always leave my session relaxed and refreshed for my day. Thank you Amy for always giving me a great experience! I look forward to my next visit.

Ive always been hesitant to get a massage due to a previous bad experience. Let me tell you, I am so glad I came to Massage Envy on Hendersonville Rd. Jessica was amazing! She worked on the areas that were in the most need, talked to me about my daily routines that increase the tightness and what I can do to help with that, and most importantly, she made me feel comfortable. I was able to relax and actually enjoy the massage. I cant wait to schedule another appointment.

Although it was my first time there I was expecting the areas I asked for to be massaged but the hour doing my shoulders n legs when I marked on the tablet that my back needed more attention . Started after 3:30 (my appointment time) and ended before 4:30 ... just wild to me ! My friend masseuse asked her questions to better service mine did not. We also asked to have our massages together but they lied and said that the room wasnt open but as I was leaving I seen the room and the door was open... Wasnt too pleased with that.

Benji always takes great care of me. Hes professional, kind, and caring in his craft. When I leave, I feel refueled and invested in. The South Asheville location is always extremely clean, organized, peaceful and welcoming and Im so glad I joined!

I scheduled a microdermabrasion infusion online which stated it was a 60 minute treatment. I was there exactly 30 minutes. I had also scheduled an add on light treatment which was not done. The technician Jessica seemed nervous and lacked confidence in my opinion. I feel I didn’t get the proper treatment for the $ nor the time booked. Very dissatisfied. I will not book with Jessica again.

Serenity explained my first visit completely to me and made me extremely comfortable and I was so completely relaxed when I left. It’s totally worth doing. I will be back!!

However good my session was, and it was good, there is one problem with ME they need to fix. We are less than 6 weeks from September and we still cant book a session yet. Kind of ridicules actually. Come on guys get it together.

Williams knowledge of the body is amazing. He gets all the nooks and crannies leaving you feeling refreshed, relaxed, and as I like to say, mushy. Highly recommend!!

My only complaint is that we didn’t get started until 810 and then he left the room for me to get dressed at 850. The massage was supposed to be for an hour. I still tipped $30 on a $75 massage but was very disappointed in the fact that 20 minutes was cut off. I’m looking at getting a monthly membership but am hesitating bc of this point alone. Is this standard procedure?

5 stars! I would give more if I could.William is always wonderful. I hadnt been able to come in for 3 months due to job loss and 2 surgeries in April. Yesterday was my 1st appointment back after release from my doctor. I am moving better and feel less pain after 1 visit. My appointments with William are a crucial part my recovery plan! A most excellent massage. Jessica has very caring hands. I left the facility feeling rejuvenated.

Ashley always takes the time to understand my needs and is very experienced at what she does.

Massage and Stretch were good but the room was very cold which made the experience unpleasant. Unfortunately the heated table did nothing for the cold air. It was like walking out of the shower and having a fan blowing on you, as there was an air vent directly above the table.

Casey was awesome. Going in I thought wed spend more time on my legs and she did most of the work on my back. She was right. Thats where my body was holding the most tightness and tension. She went exactly where my body was telling her to go. Absolutely would ask for her again.

I got a facial treatment done by Amalia. She was lovely! Explained each process while maintaining the calm in the room. Everything was very relaxing and revitalizing! My skin hasnt felt this good in ages!

I was visiting Asheville last July and was in so much pain due to health issues and immobility that I decided to get a massage before flying back home.Not only did they get me in the same day, but Benji was an amazing therapist! He used the utmost care around my injuries and frequently checked in on pressure. I felt amazing and virtually pain free for almost 3 days (doesn’t sound like a lot, but I have chronic pain and nerve issues so it was heaven)I didn’t want to get too sleepy before the plane ride, and he happily chatted with me which was nice :)10/10 recommend Benji at this location! I have still not found an LMT in Indy that helped me as much as he did, truly cannot say enough praises

Wish I got a therapist with experience. Christina was very nice but no strength. It felt like a lymphatic massage. I asked for a hard medium massage, and I got a light back/neck massage. With massage coming out to only 50 minutes I felt like more annoyed leaving, with so much tension and back pain that never got addressed. The front desk suggested that I should not tip her if I’m so dissatisfied. Well I’m not a monster and don’t wanna waste peoples times but also that was a complete waste of time!

The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful- I came to my appointment a week early on accident it was totally my fault but they worked me in perfect I maybe waited 5 minutes. Could not have asked for a better experience!

I signed up for a plan and by the third visit I decided to cancel. I was paired with a young lady for a massage. From the time I laid on the table until I left, she would NOT stop talking! I had nothing in common with this young lady as she is in her early 20s and I am twice her age. She expressed her political views and MUCH more. The whole experience was SO irritating and uncomfortable. I was upset didnt get to enjoy a service I paid for. Just a suggestion, the therapist should be trained to read their customers and probably not talk when giving a massage. Majority of people getting a massage do NOT want to talk. Ill pay more and go somewhere that more professional. Also, the 2nd massage, the gentleman smelled really strong of cigarettes. Cmon, guys!

If you’re looking for a great masseuse, just got to Ashley! She was super thorough, actually did a FULL body massage (most people miss scalp, feet, and hands) and was very nice. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time and I wish I lived here full time so I could go back to her every month.

I was seen yesterday. I thought I’d ask recently to go up on pressure to medium as one of the last therapists was so mild in her pressure I didn’t even know I had been massaged. I ask the lady twice to back down on pressure yesterday, but it didn’t do any good-she went back down for a few moments and then go back to the deep massage :(I am so sore everywhere today, that even wearing my bra on my shoulders is bothering me. I’m not a real confrontational person, so anything asking her to backdown more than two times was out of my nature. I guess I should have, but I also wish she’d have been more conscious of it since I asked twice. As she was hurting me, I kept grimacing on my face, hoping she would see that, but she didn’t pay attention to it.

Ashley, my therapist, is the best. Hands on time is just that, with no wasted time. She is very reactive to whatever is going on with muscle issues at the time. Highly recommend! Yesterday another great massage with Ashley, works harder than any therapist I have had experience with.

My therapist, William S., is incredible and super caring. I walked in with tightness and pain. When I left, I was so relaxed and had the best nights sleep I have had in weeks. The facility was clean and calming. The staff was professional and helpful. The only downside as a repeating client is the music they play. No variation and a little canned. Can be distracting at times. All in all, a great experience and will continue to be a loyal Envy member!

My massage was wonderful and the staff the day I went was wonderful. My complaint is that I scheduled my September appointment in June because my daughter and I were going to get massages and facials together. Supposedly they scheduled us that way-one getting a massage and the other a facial and then 60 minutes later vice versa. Well when we arrived they had only scheduled one of us for a massage and the other for a facial. That was a bit disappointing. Then I had purchased 4 gift cards for a Christmas present that contained enough money on them for a massage and a facial and when I went to pay they only covered the massage-I’m really glad the person I gave them to decided not to use them and gave them back to me because that would have been embarrassing for me and them. I can’t prove that’s what I put on the cards because I have moved and lost the receipt from 10 months ago.

I received a gift card to Massage Envy.Casey did a wonderful job of explaining what to expect and respecting my privacy. The experience was quite relaxing. I would recommend Casey to anyone thinking about making an appointment.

I had so much oxytocin in my system when I left. I believe I have needed stretch and massage for way too long.I needed special attention around my neck and right shoulder. It was so much better after my session.

Amazing experience! It was my first time getting a massage and everyone was so incredibly kind, laid back, and casual. They really focused on making sure I was comfortable for my first experience and you best believe I was! 10/10 100% recommend them. Very kind people!!! One of the best massages Ive ever had!

Amalia was absolutely amazing as always! Anytime I come here for a facial, I leave feeling refreshed and ten times better about myself and my skin.

I’ll start with the good- the therapists are great.Now the not so great- Bought a membership through Asheville South’s campus. Unable to schedule appointments through their office unless I wanted to book over 4 weeks ahead of time. No prenatal therapist available in the office at all during my pregnancy and unable to freeze or cancel membership during that time. Have been trying for 6 months now to cancel my current membership and got a call from the manager yesterday saying he would refund the past 3 months only to wake up this morning with another membership fee charged to my bank account. When I called about it, the manager was extremely sarcastic and didn’t seem to care one bit of the inconvenience and refused to refund the extra $75 charge.I recommend dealing with a smaller company or someone who’s independent.

The front desk is always so helpful and friendly. Savannah B the front desk manager is absolutely the best. She provides excellent customer service and is so friendly. Savannah along with Calliope and Stavi and honestly every other lady at the front desk provide the best customer service Ive ever experienced anywhere. On top of that my normal Massage Therapist Ashley is such a awesome therapist. Shes very friendly and professional and makes you feel like a million dollars after your massage. Holly is another awesome massage therapist that deserves recognition. This Massage Envy is a great place and I honestly cant say enough good things about them.

Overall the experience of the employees was great. The front desk associates were very pleasant along with my therapist. I would give 5 stars, but my therapist was a bit rough. I got this massage as a gift, for relaxation. My overall experience with my massage was not relaxing at all. The room was not dark, very lighted. To the extent it felt like being in a bathroom. My therapist was extremely rough, the pressure was okay, but imagine having extreme anxiety and tension and having someone rub their bare knuckles across your body for an hour. I have never had a massage where someone doesn’t use basic massage techniques. Just knuckles the entire time. Not only am I super sore from that experience but I’m also in pain. I would not recommend Ashley as your therapist if you don’t like having hard knuckles rubbed over your back and arms and legs for 60 mins.

This location has seriously gone downhill! I used to get massages bi-monthly for a very long time. Unfortunately, due to covid I have not been back for a year and a half. I had a major issue on the left side of my neck and shoulder and decided to make an appointment. At first I was told there was no availability so I went on online just to double check. I found that there WAS availability for the 30 minute tension massage. I made the appointment and went in the following day. I did not have a mask and was told that I had to pay a $1 to get one. Really?? What a cheap company.I went back for my session and the therapist didnt even have the piece of equipment required for the session I paid for. She came back about 5 minutes later and started my session. After 18 minutes she said she was done! I realize they use 5 minutes for consultation but I only received 18 minutes of hands on time.When I mentioned this to the front desk they just shrugged it off and basically ignored what I had to say. Very unprofessional.I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. I would rather drive 45 minutes to the closest SC location.

I have been going to Casey at massage envy ever since I moved to Asheville a few years back. She is an outstanding, knowledgeable massage therapist who goes the extra mile to understand her clients problem areas and needs. She is the only person I see!

I had a great experience here. I decided to get a massage on a whim & had never been to a massage envy before. Being in the spa industry myself, I was skeptical. This establishment did not disappoint. I loved being able to book immediately online. I’m a huge fan of online booking. The receptionist was very thorough with my intake & my therapist Robert delivered one of the best & most healing massages I’ve ever had. I will definitely be going back to see Robert again! I was highly impressed.

I stopped going to Massage Envy years ago. I had a gift card, so figured I’d try again. From the moment I walked in, I remembered why I stopped going. I was a customer there for years, they had no record of me having ever been there, so I had to fill out all new paperwork. I scheduled a deep tissue massage, while waiting for the therapist the front desk came and explained to me that my therapist was only for relaxation (light to medium pressure). When I explained that I booked for deep tissue, I was ignored. After the mediocre session, check out was a night mare. They had to double check that my gift card was legitimate 4 different ways. I will not be back. There are much better services in our area.

But let me tell you about this amazing human being Cindi (Esthetic Genius) who did my facial. This was by far the best facial I have ever received!!! She was so genuine and KNEW her stuff. You can tell when someone is passionate about what they do.... they can talk forever about it! The fact that her skin is flawless makes me believe that she knows what shes talking about . I noticed a difference in my skin immediately and she gave me tips to use at home. So thankful for people like her in the world and in customer service. You did good choosing this one Massage Envy!

Ive been using massage therapy for well over 10 years (Boulder Colorado) ive had an excellent taporeith all staff and my regular therapistsI have no problem with the massage therapists.However, every time I find someone like, like. ZAnd book out with reappointed, I get a call from this massage appointment that the therapist I scheduled was unavailable, or no longer working. Ive had to reschedule at the last minute 😫 with someone I dont even knowI have a serious joint disease and depend my therapist who knows me and my situation.I understood that therapists have had a very difficult time with covid. But this is unfair to those of us whove been customer for years. Will be 😞.Anne

Ive now had two pre-natal massages at this location (with two different massage therapists), and theyve both been great. I dont have to wait long once I arrive. The front desk workers are friendly and courteous. The massages have been relaxing and well-done. It can be difficult to get an appointment if youre booking less than a week ahead of time, but that probably speaks to the quality of this location. Theyre also not super pushy about making new appointments or buying products when youre on your way out, which is something I appreciate.

This may be the BEST Massage Envy location I have ever been to!! I have been a Massage Envy member since early 2008 and have been to at least 7 different locations in three different cities across the country. All of the locations were acceptable to me, but I have never experienced such a consistently high level of excellence as I have at this location. EVERYONE from the front desk staff to the therapists are exceptionally talented at what they do. I have never had a mediocre massage here, they have all been FANTASTIC!! And the front desk staff are super efficient and crazy friendly.Give this place a try, you will LOVE it!!

This was my first time with her and I thought she was a very nice person however I didnt like her use of her arm on my back for the majority of the time. I would have preferred her hands. Also, when she was applying her arm, I could feel her stomach and chest on me which was a little uncomfortable. I realize she has a different body type, but maybe if she were to use more of her hands instead of her arm oh, this wouldnt happen.

The massage was pretty good, he just started the timer when he picked up the iPad from the front desk. I had a 90 minute appointment, which should be an 80 minute massage. Instead I got exactly 71 minutes. I was in and out of the place in 80 minutes. It might seem like a silly complaint, but nine minutes on the massage table can be significant.

Amalia was a wonderful esthetician! She made me feel comfortable and at ease! She was a joy to talk to and I highly recommend making a trip to Asheville south to see her!

Massage was amazing! The only issue I had was how they seemed to want to sale you everything it took just as long for me to listen to the sales pitch as it did to get my massage. I signed up for a membership because I get massages on a regular basis so it was worth the money and its close to my work. I just wish they would focus more on relaxing client experiences and not so much of the sales. I also loved the fact they had handicapped employees this showed their open minded and I highly respect that.

Case absolutely put me to sleep several times. Her techniques helped rub out pains without making me flinch one single time. When I arrived I felt like I couldnt even lay completely down on the table I felt like my muscles were so tense. It was a gentle massage that really helped me let go of all the things running through my brain. Her personal touch was transformative for me. Its the day after and I still feel like a new person, on the inside as well outside. I played with my kids last night without thinking about the effort or muscle pain.

I have been a long time customer of Massage Envy in South Asheville. I am very happy with their services & their business. It is a great relaxing experience & I always see my favorite, who I think is the best, Amy Lee. It is a wonderful 90 minute experience. I highly recommend it.

The therapists here are exceptional and very attentive to my focus areas. I just had Brittney (sp?) for the first time as my therapist. She litteraly gave the best massage I have had. The rest of the therapists are great too. The customer service here is top notch as well. Good job guys keep it up

William does an incredible job. He always works out my kinks and walk out feeling great. He is the only one I will let do my massages.

The noise-choice of music is not conducive to relaxing. Too bad scheduling isnt always open. Seems like more people need to be hired. Lots of time wasted on that needless draping. Cant clientele decide if they need sheets covering them. The massage lotion is so cold it takes away the relaxing. Sometimes you need to think about the customer instead of corporate regulations. Finally find someone who can do a good massage but have to tolerate all the rest cuz corporate this and corporate that.

My wife and I were on vacation and after being the car for some time, my wife suggested I get a massage to help. I arrived at this location, and the front desk were very attentive as soon as I walked through the door; which surprised me because I have been to quite a few massage places and I feel as though it is never professional. The young lady introduced me to my therapist and I was asked beforehand where and what spots or problems I was having.. This enough let me know they were not just about taking my money but really wanted to help me solve my muscle and back issues. This was probably one of the best massages I have had yet, and I have had quite a few over the years.The management really has a hold over their staff here and its clear from the time of walking through the door, until its time to leave. I can say one thing I will be coming back and recommending this clinic to everyone that visits the area.

My husband, daughter, and I are all members at Massage Envy. We all have our favorite massage therapists and love having the ability to schedule massages whenever we need them. The hours are great! My daughter is a severe migraine sufferer who has been helped greatly by massage. We are so thankful this office is here in Arden and enjoy the special care given by all the team members.

I was pleased with the massage and professionalism of Massage Envy in South Asheville. I can already feel some of the effects from the massage and look forward to my next visit. I am gonna make this a bi-weekly part of my routine now if not a weekly part.

The 60 minute massage I scheduled and paid for only last 40 minutes. It started late and ended early. I am very disappointed.

I purchased a gift certificate from THIS location at Christmas time for my mother. When she tried use it in August they claimed there was a $0 balance and someone 5 states away had used it last. The manager said she would call the location where it was used and clear it up. They kept the card and sent her on her way. Her debit card info was kept on file for the tip. Then they charged $65 several hours later for the message. Without any further communication. When we called to ask why she was charged they said it was our responsibility to figure it out! I literally bought this gift card at the same store! So we basically paid twice for an OK message.All my friends and family will know about this and NEVER be back. Dishonesty sucks.

The preasure was not what I asked for. I barley felt it. I asked for medium to firm. I have asked for a different person next time. Also Im use to being asked how is the preasure but wasnt.

Worst massage I have ever received. I do however appreciate being able to come in same day. I had requested lavender aromatherapy which wasn’t used. I did receive it after my massage once the girls up front gave it to me. The front desk is very nice. I will definitely not be back.

William does a great job of putting you at ease during sessions with him, and he has a real knack for finding the exact source of tension or pain and working to relieve that.

I was really disappointed in my experience after wanting to give this place a shot. I dont like leaving negative reviews but this place was rude, short, and lacked the basic business tact to resolve an issue with the customer in mind like Ive never experienced. They had to cancel my 1 pm appointment (at 7pm the night before), suggested an alternative time for me to come in (which I was accepting of and I confirmed with them), then when I called day-of just to re-confirm, they didnt have me on the schedule in either slot. Instead of apologizing, offering a solution, promptly giving me options for the following week, etc., they were dismissive, gave me a customer service number to call, and had a sort of sorry it didnt work out attitude. A little acknowledgement and solution-oriented service would have made a world of difference and this place just did not deliver.

I am a new member at Massage Envy Spa and I am really enjoying being pampered each month. The atmosphere is calming and it is a real mini-retreat from the stresses of life. Rose has been awesome at the front desk and Patti has been ironing out the kinks in my tired, old body!! I just got a facial today with Nikki and that really fed my girlie side. Im glad I decided it was worth treating myself!

I love Massage Envy. I go about once a month for the best 60-90 minutes of my month =) The employees are super calming and helpful. The therapists are wonderful. I even had my first, and definitely not last, facial here. Thanks Massage Envy~!

Massage Envys front desk associates are personable and efficient. I have had nothing but good experiences with them.I have had a facial and two massages and both experiences were super. The thing I like most about my experiences is the willingness of the therapists to listen to what I want and what I need. They are also very compassionate.

Massage Envy South Rocks!!!I was a member Massage Envy in Largo, Florida many years ago and was really excited when one opened here in Asheville. I have been a member here for over a year and all of my experiences have been very pleasant and positive. From the time you walk in the door until you leave, you are encouraged to relax and great care is taken to help you do this. The ambience is wonderful with lots of special touches to encourage de-stressing. The folks at the front desk are always extremely polite, helpful and attentive. The massage therapists that I have seen have all been excellent. From what I can tell, Massage Envy only hires skilled professional that have been doing massage and healing work for a while and truly enjoy what they do. I have received several types of work to include energy work, deep tissue massage and a sugar foot scrub and I always leave feeling completely relaxed and satisfied. I highly recommend Massage Envy South and encourage those who havent checked it out, to do so. You will not be disappointed. Becky Donald - member

I will NEVER do business with this awful company again. Although the services they offer are great and I was extremely pleased with the massages and facials I received. The business they do is very shady! They were extremely unprofessional and IGNORED my email when I tried to give them a chance to make things right. I feel robbed by them. I paid for a service I never received. I signed up for a three month contract where I would receive one service a month. I was never told that you had to pay to get out of the contract. A $59.50 fee which you could credit towards a massage or facial. They told me I had until the end of January to use it. I called to schedule an appointment and they told me it had expired. Go somewhere local and dont waste your time on this greedy corporate place.... So disappointing...
