I never write reviews but this was worth a write. I’ve been to many Massage Envy locations, locally and in other states. First and only time I’ve been here. I called and made the appointment - good experience. The massage was also a good experience. After the massage, the lovely front desk girl (she was new) told me there was a surcharge. I asked why nobody told me that, either when I booked or when I arrived (had they done so, I would have booked at the Buckhead location). She got her manager on the phone who told me I had to pay up “or I’ll deduct half a credit from your account”. Well…that didn’t sit well with me. I asked what gave her a right to just take half a credit that I’d paid for. She said I could call the corporate office to resolve the issue. I told her I didn’t agree to her charging my card or taking any credits from my account without proof of her right to do so. She was very dismissive through the entire discourse. Long story short, they make up their own rules there. I’ve since heard several bad stories about this owner (owns more than this location). Corporate was no help, passing it back to them to resolve. Needless to say, they took the credit and haven’t resolved anything.
AMAZING SERVICE!! from the front desk into my entire session, the customer service and care is immaculate! it was my first time and they were so patient with me and had no problem explaining the process and making sure I would be completely comfortable throughout the session! will definitely make this apart of my self care routine!!!!
Everybody at this location is kind and talented. I’ve seen Durand and Desmond for massage as well as received a facial (I can’t remember her name but she was so sweet and fantastic). I come once a month and truly feel like I’m getting my monies worth here. Highly recommend seeing Desmond or Durand if you get the chance!
Kasaye was my masseuse and she was amazing! I came in with a knot in my neck from sleeping wrong and tightness in my hamstrings from working out. She had a great level of pressure to help release all the tension. CJ at the front was amazing as well, super nice and helpful!
I have been coming to see Marcus for about 5 years now. He is always consistent, professional, and gives a great massage specified to my needs. Highly recommend!
Desmand was amazing per usual! He listened to my concerns, focused on troubled areas and made recommendations. The front desk staff was super friendly and professional! Overall top tier experience!
Extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism at this establishment! I had a booking for 1 pm that I made enroute at 12:45. Despite informing them that I only had Apple Pay and could not leave my card details, would arrive in 10 minutes, they assured me it wasnt a problem. However, upon arrival, they informed me that someone else had booked during that time, without giving any courtesy call or prior notice. Its clear they have no regard for customer service or honoring their commitments. The way they conduct business and treat customers is utterly disappointing. Would not recommend!!!
The reception staff is less than welcoming. The staff is usually late and cut your time short. I have been here for a 60 minute massage and facial. It was just average service.
The didn’t tell me about there policy and charged me the FULL price of a massage that I did not receive. And they are not trying to refund me money and so was never made aware of the policy until after I was charged and I called over the phone.
Love it here! The whole staff is professional and friendly. Massage therapist Darrick is excellent and caring.
I booked Darrick for a last minute massage. I really appreciated that he understood where the knots were in my back and was able to focus on those. I have had other massages where the person was not that detailed. Worth a try if you are looking.
I have been coming to the West Midtown location for several years and highly recommend it. The staff are all very nice and helpful, and Desmand is wonderful!
I booked a massage for my Mother’s birthday; she traveled from out of state. First, my mom was told to prepare for the massage, after she did, she had to wait 10 min for the masseuse to come back in. The masseuse, Laquida, FELL ASLEEP on her during the massage and my mom knew because Laquida started snoring! My mom ended the massage early. There was no attempt to get us another masseuse, book another time, a discount of some kind, nothing. The guy at the front desk with the dreads and tattoos barely had any customer service as well. I won’t be booking an appt. at the Howell Mill Rd Massage Envy again.
While some of the massage therapists are nice, the front staff are horrible. Ive been coming here a few times so I feel its been multiple chances but when you come in, finish your massage, or even call in the front staff always have an attitude like your bothering them. On top they have miss scheduled few appointments so now Ive lost trust and only schedule through the app. This spot has so much potential but the front staff have such a bad attitude, are very unfriendly and unwelcoming.

My mother is a member and had a massage booked that she couldnt attend. Because Id been complaining of some shoulder and neck pain, she wanted me to go in her place and she was able to transfer her credit to me easily over the phone. Checking in was really easy and I did not wait long for my massage. It was a 60-minute session. Id never had a massage before, but I will definitely be coming back! I work from home so Im at my desk all day typing and my neck and shoulders get really tight. Had a great experience and feeling a lot better.
Signing up for membership has been so good for my body and mind. The staff is friendly and Monique is the best! The way ME allows your credits to accrue and gift some to others is fantastic. Cant wait for my massages later this month.
I personally no longer do business with this location due to the predatory practices at play.I went in with my husband in December 2021 to inquire about closing my husbands membership as it was a gift and didnt wish to do the upkeep. They offered to freeze the account instead and we agreed. Fast forward to August 2022 I noticed the charge on my account and called and asked about options for cancelling. After having to incessantly follow up due to the manager being out ill and no one seeming to have enough information about cancellations I finally get a call back after demanding the manager call me.She calls to now tell me 10 months later because its September by this time that the account cannot be cancelled until January because when you freeze your account for 6 months they add that to your contract. They did not inform me of this in December 2021 so now Im stuck in a contract where if I had known this we would have cancelled as planned. I find this predatory and dishonest. Of course no one takes responsibility and we will be cancelling the membership thereHighly encourage others to visit the Massage Envy on Ponce. Even though the locations have the same owners, management is better at Ponce from my experience.
Called this morning to see if it was possible to add on my bf for a couple massage or get an appointment for him and the rep (I believe her name was Alisha) that answered the phone was short and matter of fact. Did not appreciate it and because of the energy I received on the phone I decided that I did not want to go there at all even for just my massage. So I called back after booking an appointment elsewhere to cancel and I get told that it will be a 100% cancellation fee even though my appt reminder text message sent the day before indicated a 50% same day cancellation fee. I mention this to her and she says yeah well that was yesterday.. I do not appreciate this at all. It is my birthday today and that energy received on the phone wasnt pleasant at all. I will not even want to possibly book in the future with this location.
Unfortunately the pain I was experiencing before my appointment was still paining me afterwards. My masseuse just never hit the right spot even though I pointed to it several times. Overall it was relaxing and enjoyable.
So I decided to get a massage before meeting-up with friends to celebrate my milestone 40th birthday. I made the appointment online the night before and arrived 30 minutes early. Catherine was very professional and kind. I waited in the waiting area after taking my assessment via a tablet. The waiting area was basic, yet tranquil with light sounds & a dark atmosphere that made it ideal to get you in the right mindset for a massage. Thats until Kristina politely informed me that my massage therapists was running late due to traffic. Ive resided in Atlanta for over a decade so the late due to traffic is just not a legit excuse because we all know how traffic can be. I asked how long and when she returned to tell me 30 minutes, I canceled my appointment because I had other plans and I have a reputation among my friends, family and colleagues to arrive on-time. Kristina did offer other services, but I declined because I knew what I wanted to relax my body and mind. Also, Catherine and another staff member apologized on behalf of Massage Envy. She took my number and said the manager would contact me the next day after noon. Lets just say, Im still awaiting that call. This was my first experience with Massage Envy and it left a terrible first impression. I typically go to boutique or upscale spa locations and I will continue to do just that because I receive guaranteed superb on-time service. Convenience for a last-minute spa (1-day advance notice) is not worth it. You cant give me back the time I lost waiting for a massage that I never received. In fairness, I understand things happen, but when the manager doesnt call to apologize that speaks volumes about your business and its leadership.
I love getting my monthly massage here. I have been going here for more than 2 years and have never had a problem. The front desk staff is always very helpful and friendly. My therapist, Angela Nawls, is AMAZING!!! She always knows exactly whats bothering me without me even telling her. Shes very knowledgeable and can always get everything worked out. I HIGHLY recommend her, shes the best!
I went in to check to see if the gift cards I had were still active, they were very much so with a large balance. Since I had never been to a Massage Envy before I wanted to get more information on what they offer and schedule an appt. But the little receptionist was a TOTAL downer, HORRIBLE salesman. He supplied me with the same info I already knew which was a place that gives a hour long massage. Coming from one of the top marketing agencies Major Tom….. I had to literally PRY Isaiah for everything. I was LITERALLY the prime candidate for a salesman. All he had to do was talk about the what they offer how much and then tell me all the perks with doing business with them. But instead he down played the facials by saying “you’re not going to get anything done at your first visit so it’ll be a waste of your money” and “the body stretch is something you can do at home”. So needless to say I STILL DONT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT AND KNOW ANYMORE THAN I already knew BEFORE If I were the manager at that Massage Envy I would be VERY unhappy.
I called to make an appointment at the west Midtown Howell mill Atlanta Georgia location. When I called I asked if my visits were still good that were remaining on my account and the woman who helped me said yes they do not expire. So I booked my appointment for today December 20 at 4:00pm. When I arrived they could not confirm my appointment and said my visits expired YESTERDAY 12/19. They said they could offer me a discount and the girl who booked my appointment is no longer there. I was obviously upset because when I booked there was no issues and not because of their error it is the customers fault. They then threatened to call security on me and told me to leave the location. This service was unbelievably rude. I have been a customer for 4 years and to be treated that was was unacceptable. I will also state that they were all laughing at me and Making fun of me. please make this right massage envy. It is unacceptable to treat customers this way.
Horrible! Unprofessional. My daughter had accumulated 6 appointments from her monthly membership. She has been unable to attend due to her working so hard taking care of others and too exhausted. She finally has time off and scheduled a much anticipated couples massage for her and her husband for her BIRTHDAY today. Upon arrival, they say that they remember her calling and confirming the day before, but that the appointment had been canceled in their system and there was NOTHING that they could do about it. Understaffed. A good business would and could do something about it to make it right. Unprofessional. Corporate needs to send this locations staff to customers service classes. Avoid this location. I would rate this location a zero if that were an option.

My experience at the West Midtown, GA store was UNACCEPTABLE! I am STILL trying to get my issue resolved a 45+ days later with no return call or follow up email. When I call and ask for the owner info, noone seems to have it. The 2 other employees that I encountered was nice and professional, but there is one who behaves and talks to clients as if our money doesnt contribute to her paycheck! Generally, I have had a good experience with Massage Envy and I have been a client for 3.5 year., I only booked with this location because I was there from out of town. I would never go here again.
I called to transfer a massage to a friend and since it was not my main store , they couldn’t do it and ended up booking for me and charging me when I miss the appointment that I did not know that I had. After explaining that it was a confusion they charge me anyways . That’s is fidelity after 10 years. Very dissapointed . The manager Paula and owner Ronnie at tamiami kendal miami were not willing to help. Would not go to that store ever again.
I had set up an appointment for my sister … who just lost her husband two weeks ago. When she arrived they told her she had rescheduled her appointment. I made the appointment and I never rescheduled nor did I have a call to them. I showed them on my phone that I had not placed the call from my call log. They informed me the cancellation was on 9/20 and today is 9/23.. I never received a confirmation email for the new time. They never apologized. I would have to keep the later appointment which would interfere with our plans. I was not offered a discount nor was I offered another alternative.. other than inconveniencing me. This location has terrible customer service. They treated me with disrespect, very degrading. I have called customer service.. and have yet to be contacted.. it’s a wonder they are in business with the way they handle customers.
This location is very well run. They are always prompt and on time and efficient. I have been a member for about 7 months and have a massage weekly with either Wayne or Vahan and both are fantastic. I have been a member for about 7 months and I have been having back and shoulder pain for almost a year. The massages, along with chiropractic adjustments, have significantly reduced my symptoms. Get the 90 minute massages as you will feel like 60 isnt enough!
Wish prices wouldnt keep going up on monthly memberships, but I know thats not under the branch control. 10/10 would recommend the massage professionals here. Particularly Timitra, who is literal magic, and Ellou, who will heal all your general trauma with one neck massage.
I wish it was possible to leave no stars. This location is my “home location”. I had a massage with a guest at another location in Florida. I have literally 10 massages built up so I thought ok I’ll use one of my massages for my guest. I get to checkout at 6:50pm and the location here says they just need to call the other location to get my massage credit transferred over. THIS LOCATION REFUSED TO TRANSFER MY CREDIT. Bridgette is their lazy employee who said it was 6:50 and she had already shut the drawer down so it was a no. If you aren’t closed their is no reason you can’t DO YOUR JOB. I have $600 in massages built up and had to pay an additional $60 today because of their lazy employee. I don’t even want to do business with this franchise. Plenty of other places to get a massage. Avoid this one.
Worst experience ever. The staff was not professional. The massage was mediocre at best. Ive had hundreds of massages and this is the first time I was not flipped over for a massage on the front part of my legs and arms. Also, my therapist was listening to music with headphones and I could hear it. I had to tell him. Totally killed the relaxation. I will never go back to this location.
I have invested my monies into this ME West Midtown location for over a year. I have experienced good and and therapist, yet I still supported because it was the closest location to my residence.I receive massage as part of my wellness regime and on average I receive 4-6 massages a month which is well over the minimum monthly membership fee.Sometimes I tip and sometimes I do not; however my financial contributions help pay therapist salaries and maintain the operations of this establishment.Recently, my experienced has become unpleasant due to one of the lead therapist Kyra. She told front desk personnel to cancel several appointments for no justified reason. This trend has now trickled into other therapist cancelling appointments.As a professional myself, I understand the importance of communication and transparency. I was told there were scheduling conflicts and this was untrue. I can accept the refusal of treatment; however do not defame my character in doing so.She has encroached upon violating HIPPA laws by gossiping and spreading false information about my health information and the client-therapist relationship.I would recommend for the owner of this franchise to educate staff and massage therapists on professionalism, customer service, honesty, ethics, HIPPA laws, communication, accepting client feedback and understanding that tipping is a courtesy not a requirement.I will soon terminate my membership as a result of being devalued and being treated unprofessionally.
Angela Nawls is a fantastic therapist! She is not only knowledgeable about the body, giving great massages, but also very warm and caring. She’s 5 stars for sure! My only complaint is miscommunication in appointment times, that happened twice: having the times in my calendar only to receive my reminder call the day before saying my massage was an hour later than I️ had planned when I️ made the appointment.

My husband and I came for a couples massage and had a great experience. We were able to check in in a timely manner and both of our masseuse did a great job. We left relaxed and rejuvenated we’ll definitely be back next time we are in town.
Angela is amazing! I’m a CrossFit athlete and really need someone to give me a deep-tissue massage, and I️ schedule her every month. She focuses on exactly what I️ request and still manages her time well to hit all the major areas in 1-hour. I️ wish I️ had started a membership here sooner!

The Massage Envy staff at the Camp Creek location are fantastic! Professional, polite, very conscientious of time/time management. Massage Envy as a company has a lot of work to do. The transfer fees, the lack of a uniformed system in scheduling massages at various locations. Expressed my concerns to the company via letter, never received a call, letter or smoke signal. Really unfortunate.
If I could give ZERO STARS I woukd!!! I thought Massage Envy was such a great option -massages for half the price of a real spa.... I could not have been more wrong. Not only do they treat you like garbage but after I submitted the paperwork to cancel my membership they continued to charge me for two months. And of course that wasnt an easy resolution either. It took multiple phone calls and terse conversations. I think they deserve to go out of business.
Vahan is a stellar masseur. I was lucky to get an appointment with Vahan over 2 years ago and have staid ever since. He isolates tense areas of your body and knows how to get you back feeling good again if in pain. Even when I am just wanting a relaxing message he knows how to tailor for the day. I have even fallen asleep on the table several times.
Late massage therapist an disorganized staff. I wasnt seen until 20min after my appointment time. I even arrived 15min early. I then received a 30min message, but had prepaid for an hour. I was credited due to the service. My 1st and last time at this location.
Lori changed my life!!!! She talked me through the process and gave me tips to minimize my tension. Best massage I’ve ever had. I went to a different location and it was nothing like my experience yesterday. I’m now an official member!
If I could give negative stars to this establishment I would! Its a shame because the massage was superb but the service that came afterwards has been less than desirable. I purchased a massage for my husband and instead of charging my account, they charged his PLUS a $65 tip!!! It has been a month and STILL no resolve. UNACCEPTABLE!!!... PLEASE BEWARE

Amazing service and massage but I had to wait 15 minutes at the end because there was an issue with my gift card.
Have tried numerous times to make reservations for different times and dates. Quite sure black out dates and times are in place. I bought the Gift Card Promotion, with lots of promises, but do regret it. Many better spa facilities to be found.
Run and schedule an appt with Ellou today!! Literally worked out months of built up tension in my neck and shoulders after one 60-min session. Will def be coming back!
Vahan Mehrabyan Is the best therapist ever! I have never had a therapist truly fix my issues and now my body feels better on a daily basis. I have been to serval message envy location across the southeast and Vahan simply is the best. Hands down! Give him a raise !!
Been member since 2017 and tried to book an appointment for me and a buddy. Was told the location doesnt do that. It in the contract I signed and paid for. The person who answered the was abrupt and rude. I wouldnt choose this location ever again.
Didnt enjoy my last visit as much.. the therapist was sweet, but inexperienced in technique. He didnt know how to massage for relaxation or deep tissue effectively.
If I could give 0 stars I would!!!! My boyfriend and I scheduled last weekend and was called THREE HOURS before our appointment to say a therapist had an emergency and that we would have to reschedule and be given a free enhancement. We rescheduled for today, and TWO HOURS before our appointment we got the same lame emergency excuse. This is so frustrating..this location will NEVER see a dime of my money!!
I couldn’t me any more appalled to find one of the employees clipping his fingernails over the trash can in the lobby. I asked the receptionist if that was appropriate and she just gave me a dirty look. My bad.
Vahan is great! He takes the time to understand your specific needs during the time of your visit, and he gives a great deep tissue massage.
