Overall the place was fun, we enjoyed trying all of the bartender shots. Bathrooms were beyond gross, but I mean, what do you really expect from a bar full of college kids?

1716 is a great college bar; perhaps my favorite in town. Everyday there are great specials and friendly bartenders. I always enjoy sitting at the bar out back on a slower day and watching TV or sitting at the bar conversing with friends. The best day to go here is probably Thursday for bingo and prizes!

Racist, illegal, and should be shut down. Tried going with some graduate students. One happened to be an international student that arrived in country about 2 months ago. Upon trying to go in and get a wristband , they immediately asked only the international student for ID (who obviously looked over 30) which the international student provided. They denied the international student entry stating that they only accepted American ID (which unfortunately is their right). Later, my white friend (who looks like they could be underage) went in and they gave her a wristband without even asking for ID. Unfortunately it’s not too surprising looking at previous reviews about this place and learning that the owner is the same guy who owns Skybar. This is a gross display of racial profiling and a racist way of conducting business and it’s a shame that businesses and business owners like this are allowed to operate in our lovely village on the plains.

Went to this bar for drinks and a good time. Played bingo and won a speaker that was stolen by the staff!! They have no integrity accused me of stealing it, when confronted they had no ground to stand on!The DJ at the time was very confrontational and when all the evidence was shown to him that it was won fair and square he said the cameras were not in working order!! Even with all the photos and videos taken I was still accused of stealing it, even though it was handed by the very DJ that said the accusations. Moral of the story it was a 100 dollar speaker that was not worth the trouble but would avoid this place at all cost!! Would give zero stars if I could!!

The best place to go to in Auburn. The ambiance, the drinks, the service… I coundt say a single bad thing. Great management and the workers are so kind. Would 110% come here every single day!

Went here after the game last Saturday - folks at the entrance were very nice, but one bartender refused to serve me because, and I can only assume this was the reason, I was wearing a Missouri Football shirt. I asked him why he couldnt serve me and he would not give a reason. Did get served by another bartender eventually. Left a negative impression for sure. All of the Auburn fans I met that day were very nice.

No draft, just bottles and cans. Not expensive. If youre over 30, youll feel like Gandalf next to all the other patrons.Walking distance from Auburn University Hotel.

The old stomping grounds! Great place to go to hangout. They’ve upgraded it significantly since the last time I was here (which was roughly 5 years ago).

I have been to 1716 before, and I Had a great time. Tonight, I went to find my best friend at the bar and I didn’t have cash on me, thankfully, the bouncer at the door allowed me to ask the bartender for cash so I could pay him and get my ID back. Unfortunately, I had to deal with COOKIE, and she was so incredibly rude but somehow at the most popular bar during rush hour. I was trying to politely get her attention while she kept ignoring me for other patrons. Eventually she answered me but told me to “stop yelling at her” and I sai I’m not yelling at her I’m just trying to get money to pay the bouncer. She was incredibly rude and told me she wouldn’t serve me. I decided to go back to the bouncer who tried to help me but didn’t know who I was talking about. Her name is cookies and she kept giving me dirty looks across the bar even after I left her alone and went to the opposite side of the bar. She had it out for me for no reason. I know teenagers usually frequent this bar, but I’m a grown adult and when COOKIE had a bouncer kick me out, I was embarrassed and I will NEVER come back to 1716. Skybar is more respectful.

Great Bar with many different events and activities! From bingo and trivia to tricycle racing they have it all! So many of the bartenders are memorable and friendly and the drinks are within the reasonable range for auburn! Definitely reccomend!

Fantastic drinks and specials! If youre looking for a good time, look here first and foremost! While not the experience we were expecting (Bachelor Night), we loved every minute of it! Cant wait to get back!

Its an island bar in the middle with whats basically two long hallways and the music is usually too loud to talk to anyone with no escape except leaving.That said, if dancing is your thing and you have had a few drinks youll have a good time.

One of the better bars with a friendly trust worthy staff: Cory, Tori, and Ashlyn are great bar tenders, has its one unique atmosphere, and rather fair prices for 2022

Great set up outdoors at the back. Went for s tailgate and they had several early kickoff games on the tvs. Good seating to watch and drink.

Went after the LSU game with my sister, her boyfriend, and my fiancé. Place looked packed so we expected a wait for a drink. After waiting our turns we finally got up to the bar, where the bartender ignored me and the guy next to me so he could get his drunk girlfriend, her friends, and his brother drinks. He then ignored us again and proceeded to the other end of his zone, slowly made drinks, and cleaned a section of bar off with a rag before begrudgingly returning to our end. Once there he checked to make sure his friends didnt need anymore free drinks before finally addressing the man behind me, who happened to be my fiancé. I said Really your going to check on her again before getting anyone drinks? And then ordered our drinks, to which he replied. You can get them from somebody else. Long story short: the bartenders are thieves and are terrible at handling a volume atmosphere, and rude to boot.

The door kids are obnoxious as hell. Your a door guy at a tiny bar, not a cop. Didnt even bother going in after dealing with the twerp at the front door. Maybe when they grow up they will learn how to interact with the public. If your over the age of 19 dont bother with this place. Go to Moes or Halftime instead.

Not for anyone over 30. We had a mixed group of younger crowd in early 20s and older crowd. Neither had a good time. But hey you can get in at 19. So thats a plus for some. Anyone under 21 pays extra to get in. $10 I think

Their outdoor late-night weekday party was so loud I could hear it from inside my apartment with earplugs on. Tacky, trashy, and disrespectful. Dont support. Even Quixotes was better.

The drink specials are good but failed to mention they werent having bingo this week, very upset. Need to cater to those who stay in town. WAR DAMN!

The best place ever I will never go anywhere else in auburn again!

Cold beer - Long Hammer draft - 5pm on a Friday and me and the wife are the only customers. Beers served and two seconds later the bartender wants payment. Guess a couple of 60-year-olds looked like we were going to bolt for the door after drinking. Other than flies at the bar and in the bathroom and one draft served with a chipped broken glass the experience was a big so-so.

Expensive drinks and the place is filled with teenagers. Only one bar and pool tables are rough. Back patio is nice when it’s open though.

Cool experience and nice waitstaff. They handled a GameDay crowd very well!

I tried to buy a drink without a stamp and the bartender basically forced me to get a stamp but I walked away from the bar instead and she yelled at me telling me to go get a stamp next thing I know a bouncer is pushing me out the door but other than that experience its a fun place to hangout especially on the weekends

A nice place to have a drink and to listen good country music, generally. One of the few places in Auburn, but be also ready to find many very young fellas.

All the staff there was awesome. I was in from Huntsville and they made me feel like I was at my local watering hole! Great, great folks!

Decent bar. Definitely not as much of a party vibe as the other Auburn bars, but that can be a good thing.

Has the worst live music and bar scene in Auburn. Wait staff was rude, and bartenders were very cold. Avoid this place like the plague!

17 is always jumping. Great atmosphere for drinking with friends though it can get a little packed on the weekends.

I ordered a strong rum and coke. I got a cup of rum with a splash of coke. I like this place. I will be back.

The service is not very good. They began to evict people in a very rude manner. In general I would not return because the guy who evicted us threw a cap that we forgot in the trash. The balls dont move well on his pool table.
