Bar is awesome but only thing I dont like about the place is they change the price of drinks every hour. Like I paid 1$ for Bud light at 8 and around 10 it was 3.5 $. Maybe thats a American things. Overall the place is cool but pricing sucks.

Blonde bartender with pigtails dropped my card in the ice and couldn’t find it for 20 mins. Had to prompt her 4 times for her to find it and get it back. She seemed wasted. Awful service

I was banned for no reason. I had spent $23.88 to enter on a Friday and for a ticket for a social event. I was there for half an hour, before I was asked to leave for no reason (I did not do anything to deserve being treated like that). I did not get any of that back (but actually, thats not the important thing; the important thing is I couldnt be there like any other person who had paid to be there). The bar is otherwise a nice place that I like a lot, but why would they treat their patrons like this? I will change my rating and review when I am unbanned and able to be at the bar, like any other person. Until then, I am staying at one star, and my current recommendation is: Go to other places.

The service took almost a hour to get my food. Drinks were okay but still very pricy. Atmosphere was very toxic where people were rude, disrespectful and making weird comments about people they don’t know. I will not be coming back here.

We had a dreadful experience on 9/29. My friend accidentally bumped into the check in girl’s giant Stanley cup sitting on the ledge of the extremely crowded front bar area (which shouldnt have been there in the first place).Instead of addressing the situation reasonably, she THREW the water at my friend and decided to kick our entire group of 10 sober alumni out. The bouncers then aggressively grabbed us when we were completely sober and voluntarily walking out.Dan - The check-in girl with blonde, curly, short hair and the short (and short tempered) bouncer with brunette hair and a scruffy beard who were involved need some serious reevaluation. Their actions were completely out of line, and I’ve never been grabbed like that in my life. It seemed like they were intentionally trying to provoke us. Between the roofies and this experience I would recommend going elsewhere

Had shards of glass in my drink and the bartender was really rude about it when I brought it to her attention. The music here is so bad and lame. The club is also racist. They asked my Mexican friend to see his US passport to come in when his Mexican ID was just fine and not expired. they also have some new rule about needing a school ID if under 21 on the weekends and denied entry to another friend of mine who has a school ID for another school in the auburn area. It’s clear they only want a certain type of person in this lame club. Need new owners, a new name, and new employees and much better music

One of the most vibrant bar inAuburn. Entry fee was very expensive. I don’t see point of asking customers to pay such a large fee.

The bar is fine. Only thing, if you are not a Auburn student it can be difficult to go in.So being a foreigner at first the security guy did not want to let me in. So with my friend we went to another bar where we met some very friendly students from the University. Eventually we told them we could not go in and therefore they brought us with them and thanks to them we could go inside.Honestly the atmosphere is nice there but such a pity to block the entry to foreigners or tourists like that!

I have been going here for awhile as I am from the area. The best time to go is 8 pm cst the back opens at 8:15 and by then it is not crowded so you can dance your heart out on the floor, and the bathrooms are clean. The crowds come in around 10pm cst because they usually have bands that will play sometime after that. I have found 2 bands that I do like, but usually if they are not there I will leave at 10 ish once the crowds arrive on the dance floor. I LOVE the security guys in the back because they ALL dance and it makes you wanna dance too, and seeing so much security really makes a girl feel safe, thank you!

The best place to enjoy the nightlife in Lee County, AL. Cheap cover charge, good drinks, lots of young people partying the night away!

Just a basic bar nothing special. Staff is very slow. They don’t care about anything but making money. I wouldn’t recommend if you are new to auburn community. The beer is expired when they serve and makes you throw up instantly. Just a heads up. Take care

I am a little old for this place at night. I go with my Daughter when visiting her at Auburn. But it is a great bar its tremendous, multiple levels. There are multiple bands playing in different areas or the bar throughout the night. The Rooftop is great.

Many a nights have I been to Auburn and some how ended up at Sky, and every time has been great. Im sure anyone who lives in the area or has came through town has heard some crazy stories about the infamous Sky bar. What you get when you walk in is girls galore all colors short tall skinny fat you name it. Then you also get the typical Connor who is wearing some 5 inseam shorts, an auburn polo, some boat shoes and a hat with curly hair coming out the sides. Then there is everyone else a mix of locals; army dudes, and thats about it. Overall Skybar is a must stop if you are in the area .

Very racist bar! They need student ids if you are not white or if you are not american. I asked if 2 couples come in with their husband/fiancé who is not a student, would you not let us in? Their answer was yes! Only students are allowed, while they didn’t check anyone else’s student id who were white.

DON’T GO UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR PHONE STOLEN!! Typically, I wouldn’t hold an establishment at fault for the doings of others but its seems this is an ongoing issue that Skybar is aware of but isn’t doing anything about it.My phone was stolen from my purse on Saturday night. I wasn’t intoxicated and my purse wasn’t unattended at any moment, it was around my torso when someone pulled my purse. The next day I learned that it happens SEVERAL times a weekend at Skybar. In fact, I was at AT&T getting a replacement phone the next day when someone else came in because they also had their phone stolen at Skybar the night before.I’ve been in contact with the Auburn Police Department and they confirmed this is an ongoing issue that Skybar is aware of. From what I’ve gathered, it seems Skybar isn’t doing anything about it because they’re more concerned about their bottom line than making sure their patrons are safe. I think they’re relying on the fact that the crowd is mostly young and probably too intoxicated to remember the details of what happened. The most frustrating thing about my incident is that so many others have also been taken advantage of. Skybar should be ashamed for not stepping up and doing their part.I’m not concerned about going back since I’m not from Alabama, but for everyone else,if you go here please be very cautious!!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Very racist. They require student ID’s but you can only attend the PWI, Auburn. Any student from the HBCU, Tuskegee is not welcome even if you live in Auburn. They play lame music. Only black songs they know is Back That Thang Up by Juvenile and Get Low by Lil John and the East Side Boyz

When I first moved to Auburn I thought a café would have served food....? I was wrong but went anyway. Was not impressed as its mostly targeted towards undergrads looking to drink and party.HOWEVER After hearing directly from several women customers about shady things frequently occurring (drugging drinks and such), I will not be supporting an establishment such as this.

GOT ROOFIED BY BARTENDERGot roofied and was unconscious by 11:30 after barely drinking. My friends literally thought I was gonna die. Went to ER and front lady said let me guess it was sky bar. Then the nurse said you must not know everyone gets roofied there, she said she gets girls coming in EVERY weekend.You guys know this happens and obviously aren’t doing anything. Do better

One of their waitress/bartender was extremely rude and yell at us saying “hold on”. We were trying to reach out to her since there‘re so many ppl， but she shouted and made it look like our fault. Im not a bar person and this experience prevented me from visiting there again. And I will never recommend to any friends here at Auburn. The place has lots of smoking issues，can smell from far away.

If I could give negative stars I would. My friends are from out of state and they told me they have to have their passport in order to be let in the club. Spoke to the manager and he said there is nothing he could do about it/ it’s up to the front security people to allow who gets in or not. I personally feel like it’s racially motivated because they had their id’s so why do they need their passports? Also, I’d like to read where it states this because it also feels made up. On top of this, the manger stated that only auburn students with an id are allowed in, but older couples and people that most likely no longer attend auburn or haven’t ever attended are being let it. The entire thing makes no sense and it’s discrimination at its finest. Please fix this because Auburn always talks about diversity but establishments definitely aren’t showing it.

A great college bar experience. Open-air 2500+ person capacity with 6 separate bars. Dancing, live music, trivia, sports, and more. If you can get on the list youll get free cover for LIFE! Its an Auburn must-see & has amazing bands rotating through all the time!

Awesome place. The drinks from the front bar on Halloween were great! The music in the back was ok. May need to find a few more songs to get the people dancing a bit more.

Although is not for me, I must admit that is a nice place. Good drinks, good music and live bands, and well organized. But take into account that this is a College town and will be full of very young guys and girls. If you are older than 30 maybe another place would be more recommendable.

The only reason they dont get 5 stars is that when it rains; the roof leaks inside. This is a nice environment great crowd for a reasonable price. I also wish they had more cultured music.

People say its the place to go in Auburn and it did not disappoint. Lots of different places to go if you dont like one type of music or vibe there is probably another area you can chill that you will like.

Best bar in Auburn, even in the entire SEC. Atmosphere for everyone. It you want an open area go up to the big sky section. Or listen to good country music go into sky. Then you have the back area which is just a high octane area that is a thrill. Music for everyone. Best time in Auburn is at Sky.

Breaking news, bar in Alabama has racist policies. My 29 year old fiancé was denied entry because she didn’t have a Student ID to accompany her international ID. (Passport) An absolute joke. Incredibly racist to only require student IDs for foreigners. A passport is the world’s most official form of identification.

Bar is fun, but it’s hard to get in if you’re not an Auburn student and you’re under 21. I’m 20 and got in back in June no problem, but after that they won’t let me in because I don’t have a student ID. How pathetic

We were there last night. But we were denied entry as it was supposedly a college night. I saw at least eight people go in with just showing their drivers licenses. I dont know if that was racist but it felt like one!

The crowd is youthful around 9 pm. If you are not comfortable with young people drinking and a loud atmosphere, this is not the place for you. Dont try to carry on conversation with your friends either. The drinks are not mixologist prepared. The best part is trivia night. The crowd was rowdy, its just not my scene. There are monitors and they will atleast play sport games on the TVs. Its ok. Just not my preferred scene. Theres no wine either. Just beer and liquor. Be careful.

NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY. Wouldn’t let my friend in because he was a service member. Apparently the military is banned from entering the bar. Not a good look. They are risking their lives, so let them have a drink and a good time.

I had an amazing time at the Sky Bar. You can not beat the drink deals and the music was on point. I danced the night away and will be back next month. Oh I almost forgot they have a live band on Saturday night so bring your comfortable dancing shoes ladies. 💃💃💃

I took my husband there for his birthday. It was fun drinks were alright and service was good but Sunday morning I had 2 charges on my card when only one was authorized I have been trying to get in touch with them and no body has bothered to call me back so I just went and disputed it with my bank. Also the so called bouncers for the bar were picking a fight with my husband while I was trying to finish paying. Yes he was drunk it was his birthday but he did nothing to get that kind of attention at all. Instead of helping their customer they were rude and it felt like they just wanted him to retaliate so they could play rent a cop so they could fight but he did not we just left. I guess that is what happens when you have kids as your bouncers. Like I said it was fun until the end and was pretty clean I will rate again if these things are resolved.

If youre gonna call it a cafe, you should be serving various coffee items and baked goods like croissants. Maybe even paninis. A guy couldnt even get a freakin americano! Got kicked out for asking for one. Do not go.

In town visiting and went out for some drinks. This place is huge with lots of bars to choose from. Loved the deck upstairs. Really good drink specials depending on time of day.

Its where everyone goes at the end of the night to dance. Pretty decent crowd and fairly quick service at the bar. They have two stages so theyll usually play country music in one and dance/hip hop in the other.

This place is a totally happening place. Our masters class always hangs out here during residency week! This place always have fun things to do whether it’s karaoke, trivia or just dancing can’t beat this place. Cheap drinks as well.

While Skybar is one of the staples of downtown, being the largest of any other bar in the area, theres always something to the experience that sours my night.The drink specials are great, but the bartenders are flat-out rude; one told my friend he was being a real pain in the ass because he got me (the DD for the night) a water alongside his drink, even when he tipped for both. The bouncers charge me $5-10 more cover than my underage friends, which Ive never had to deal with at any other bar.I suppose if youre part of a big social group, youll have a better time, but going there with four or five friends has always led to us leaving early to 17-16 (or Quixotes, if were desperate).

Skybar has made a new rule that only Auburn and Southern Union students can go on Friday and Saturday if they are under 21. Tuskegee University is 20 minutes away and Auburn is the closest college hangout area. It almost feels as if its on purpose because Tuskegee is a HBCU.

Most popular bar in auburn. Friday night at Auburn Downtown is all about sky bar. Loves their inside dance floor. Bands are always awesome. If you live in Auburn or visit the place, this is must go place at Friday night.

Very overrated. Its a very big club with a huge dance floor and multiple bars, but its still hard to get a timely drink and its very overpriced. This is where all the college kids hang out though so if youre into that scene, its the place to go.

Skybar is my home I would sleep there and protect the place,,, I really enjoy been there with some badass guys and my best DJ is ben. Q security guard named colin (I hope I spell that correctly) helped me confront my diabetic episode with perfect class and helped me get what I needed. HHee allowed me to leave the dance floor and gave me the correct amount of sugar correction to allow me to handle my situation with perfect circumstances. Even with diabetes I will be going to this establishment

Outdoor area is a nice change up but the indoor concert venue is always popping off. Tons of fun and great crowd.

The drinks were okay, I had ordered my second drink to get my card back because the drinks cost $4 and there is a $5 minimum, so I had just ordered my second $4 drink and I noticed that there were three seats being occupied by two people, I asked if the third seat was reserved, to which I was met with physical aggression by some dude (who turned out to be an employee) and I told the guy who was shoving me that I was only asking a question, after he had shoved me again, the entire security team came behind me and carried me to the exit. While they were carrying me, they grabbed the drink I had just payed for out of my hand (probably because it was full and spilling on then) and threw it straight in the garbage. I asked for my money back; they just looked at me through their sunglasses and shook their heads at me. So yeah. Maybe go to quixotes.

THE bar in Auburn. There are two rooms for music, and its overall a very nice venue. Theres an outdoors portion too when it gets too hot inside

The drink specials are great and there is always something going on at night. It a cool spot right across the street from campus and really rocks when everyone is back at school.

Sky Bar has a lot of issues with druggings and assaults happening in their establishment. Fortunately theyre so upstanding that they just sweep it under the rug for you so that nobody is held accountable!

Sky is the kind of place you have to visit once, but for locals its a favorite spot for a good time. Loads of different areas. Its kind of like 4 bars in one.

Crowded after the Iron Bowl, but great atmosphere for a get-together with family and friends

The music is mostly flip flopping between a band and a pop only DJ. The bartenders ignored me when I tried to flag them down in the back behind the stage and when she gave me the check my drink spilled over and she refused to give me another one after she watched it happen.

Went there for Karaoke Night, and had a great time! Definitely a good place to hang out with friends

When the DJ is playing its good its a 4.5 but when the band comes back on stage its knocks over half the crowd off of the dance floor

Its a staple Auburn bar. While plenty of college kids go here, its the most mature bar in the area aside from Avondale.

This place is huge and has multiple bars to get juiced at. Legit bands and music by the dj make it legit after an Auburn game.
