If I could give 0 stars I would. Had my first massage ever an used a gift card. Was told tips could not be left on a gift card and gave my credit card to tip the therapist. Had no clue that the paperwork I was signing was for a membership. This was back in August 2023 when I received my massage but was so graciously informed this week about it from my credit card agency. Had a great massage back in August but this company is awful. I have now paid them over $600 in massages and still cannot cancel this membership. They will only cancel the membership if my doctor says I cannot get massages or if I move to a location that is over 25 miles from a massage envy. I am moving to the boonies of Colorado in 12 days and now I have to sit here and just through all the dumb hoops of this scam of a company. Spend a little more and go to an actually half decent massage therapist who wont steal all your money. I will never ever recommend a massage envy and will never be going to one again.
Massage Envy sucks. COMPLETELY SUCKS. Came in to use a gift card and they made me sign a form that wasnt translated to myself. Ended up being that they snuck in the documentation on a massage subscription I NEVER asked for. Now continuously charging my account and wont cancel the subscription because manager doesnt want too. They wont send me a copy of what I signed again because the manager doesnt want too. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.
Just called in to notify the office that I have been vomiting since the wee hours of the morning and they let me know it would cost me my credit to cancel. How am I supposed to predict a sickness??! Terrible business practice. This was per the manager on duty 2/21. I have been a massage envy member for years.
I came here for my very first ever massage and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The front desk receptionist Alen was extremely friendly and amazing! I was able to add enhancements on at the last minute and they were all very time efficient! Eliseo is an extremely talented massage therapist and I would highly recommend him! Thank you all!
I have been to a few Massage Envys and I have to say this one is my favorite. The vibe is great, it is relaxing and quiet! I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff who helped me complete the required forms, the manager came out to escort me to their tranquility room to wait for my therapist and introduced me to Envy the fish! Speaking of my therapist - Josh - he was fantastic! I loved my massage! He addressed all of my concern areas, great pressure - felt like a new person after! I would recommend him to everyone. All in all this location gets my 5 stars because it felt like a full service, friendly, relaxing experience!
DO NOT GET THE MEMBERSHIP. Support local massage places instead that actually arent a racket.Reasons for my 1 star:1. This place/business model is a racket.2. They never have appointments (even a month and half out). Basically forcing you to pay without giving services that are supposed to be offered.3. Trying to use your accumulated credits by setting up a biweekly massage? Theyll cancel it, and say they know nothing about it. Currently I have 16 credits to use. Do that math. Are you supposed to leave that money on the table? According to Massage Envy, yes you are.4. Trying to give someone you care about a credit? 10$ charge on top of what youre paying. Oh, and that person can only receive one every 6 months from you. You are not allowed to give your credits away more than once a month. See how they keep you paying?5 Trying to use up all your accumulated credits after you cancel? You only have 60 days.6. They will change prices on you (I started in 2019 at $55, now paying $75/month) and not let you know--just hope you dont overdraft.Only thing about this place that is good is the actual massages and the people in the facility. The company, however, is terrible.Support local massage places instead. Do not recommend.
Do not get the membership. In order to cancel the $85/month membership, you need to either have moved 25 miles away from the location, or you need to be able to provide a medical reason. You have to be able to provide written proof in order to cancel the membership, and after you obtain proof + fill out the cancellation form that has to be completed via email, it still takes a minimum of 10 days for them to process everything. On top of that, you will still get charged for the next month. Forget trying to make an appointment (since you will be charged for that upcoming month regardless). They are always booked at least a month and a half out. Their services are not even worth the hassle.
My massage therapist was great! Although the front desk was exceptionally rude and deceitful. While I wish I could recommend, the front desk ruined the zen my massage gave me and honestly ruined my day.
THE BEST MASSAGE ENVY location in Denver. I drive 30min out of my way just to come here. Collette is by far my favorite ME massage therapist here. She is professional and attentive. Amy and Anasia up front are unprecedentedly helpful and just outstanding people. Amy gives me hope for the future of an otherwise declining ME franchise (compared to other Denver locations).
This place is an absolute joke. The most unprofessional establishment. Still taking money out of an account they were told to cancel multiple times, and when asked to do so they literally say they do not have to cancel and will not...literal criminals.
Terrible experience with the billing procedure. Lied to and manipulated. And when finally confronted, they won’t give out the manager’s information to right the wrong. Instead asked to leave empty handed. Cat who is the assistant manager would rather send you away unhappy than to make it better. I only have one Choice, go to small claims court to let a judge get my money back from these money hungry pigs. The taste is my mouth is disgusting 🤮🤮🤮
I’ve been seeing Devin for my skin care needs for a few months now and my skin is basically flawless. Shes passionate about what she does and it shows. I’ve been getting so many compliments on my skin lately. I struggled with cystic acne as a teen and young adult and would hide behind piles of makeup which just made everything worse . So I never thought I’d see the day where I’d get compliments on my clear skin. Thank you Devin for the boost I’d confidence and caring about mu skin as much as I do!
I saw the negative reviews of this place but boy have they really turned things around! I saw Michael for a massage and he is amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable and extremely attentive to my needs. If you need good deep tissue massage, book a session with Michael!
I went to see Devyn for a facial and she was amazing! I have very sensitive skin, but lots of redness and she made sure to use all the correct products so I wouldn’t have a reaction. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful.
I never post one star reviews… I usually just try to move on from bad experiences and forgot about it. However, I feel that it is my duty to warn everyone on the internet to NEVER GO TO THIS MASSAGE ENVY! As a long time client, I have never experienced the level of unprofessionalism as I have with this branch. I could list many anecdotes… but point being your time and money will be better spent at a different massage envy location with better customer service!

She knew exactly which muscles needed attention used a combination of deep tissue techniques, targeted pressure, and stretching to address my muscle imbalances and tension. I cant get a response from management to messages left on voice mail and with staff, so Ill leave this here. I arrived for a massage appointment on Saturday and was told, Oh, someone should have called you. That employee no longer works here. The appointment was still in in my ME account. On Monday, two days after, the appointment was canceled--the cancelation email arrived. I tried to talk to a manager about the issue, but one wont speak with me. Its increasingly harder to book appointments with ME at any location, yet I have 10+ appointments Ive already paid for.
Darren is fantastic. Staff is always polite and on time. They have a tranquility room thats very relaxing. I loved to hang out in there before my massage. No issue with the parking lot even during Christmas. I did the monthly membership and highly recommend it. I was double charged once and accident and they resolved the issue over the phone quickly. No pushy sales on their other products.
After trying multiples times to scheduIe an appointment by phone without success, I finally walked into this location to schedule a massage. At this time, I was offered several different appointment times, I picked a date, scheduled the appointment and left. My appointment was scheduled over a week in advance, but the evening before my appointment, I received an email stating my appointment was cancelled. I called, to find out why, I was told the therapist wasnt coming in and I asked to reschedule. The first question I was asked was what is your member number I said I dont have one , that I would be using a gift card. The person on the other end of the phone, rather rudly told me, well I dont have anything in September or October but I could schedule you in November. Now my first thought was; so no membership, no massage, but more importantly I thought the concept of Massage Envy should be to provide quality services, regardless of my mebership status. I guess they will never know if I could have potentially become a member, because they didnt give me the opportunity to make another appointment within a reasonable amount to time. This location is strictly membership driven and offered terrible customer serivce. Now I know all Massage Envys are privatly owned, but there is always some type of upper corporate facilities and maybe they would like to know about this experience and the tarnish to their company name. I am only one person, but I cannot imagine the only one to have this happen. To the next unsuspecting, non-member hoping to schedule a service, Good Luck!!
I was booked for a massage yesterday, (my very first massage). And I had an issue that I thought would cause me to reschedule me appointment. I received help from the front desk staff--specifically Lindsay. She spoke with the manager, Robert and they worked together in resolving my issue. And I was able to make my appointment! It was a delightful experience all the way through, the support that I received from the staff was excellent. My massage was wonderful and I will be back at this location. Thank you both for the exceptional customer service.
I am very disappointed in this location. My wife and I have set up 2 appointments with this location. When we set up these appointments we stressed that we wanted our appointments together. For the 1st appointment we get there and they informed us that they tried to contact us to inform us that my appointment was canceled. They never once tried to contact us. They did try and make it up to us by giving us a free massage and upgrade and they would get us in as soon as they could. They contacted all of their locations and was able to get us an appointment at the cherry creek location. Which was not too far so that was ok, but after our massages we hurt for about 2-3 day after. The second time they once again they canceled my appointment and notified my only a few hours before the appointment. This time it was set up for our anniversary present to each other. Needless to say we are so disappointed it’s not even funny
Ive been a member for 7+ years and I have been put off lately that Im actually writing a review. They have some great therapist, so thats not my issue. It has more to do with their practice. Lately they have been running late on my appointment time and not making it up what so ever. This last time was the worst- I showed up a full 15 minutes before my appointment for an 1.5 hour massage. They didnt call me until 8 minutes until after my appointment was suppose to start. Then proceeded to make me update the tablet information before my appointment started (again I was there a FULL 15 minutes before!). By the time my appointment got started and the therapist put the timer and left for me to get unclothed it was at 80 minutes (not 90!) and she didnt start working on me until 15 minutes after. I thought okay lets see how long it goes til. Well, the session (which was great), ended at the normal time. So essentially 10 minutes was stolen from me with only a sorry we are getting started late to make up for it. Im sorry how is that an okay practice? I understand that human factors are at work and not every appointment will be right on time but why are you making the customer pay 100% for this when it was clearly not their doing? Like I said this isnt the first time theyve done this but it was the worst example. I will probably be canceling membership because I cant trust I am getting my moneys worth!RESPONSE to owner- yes we are saying the same thing. My appointment time was 1:30. Due to delays on your side, the hands on time didnt start until 1:45 . Then the hands one time ended at 2:54. Therefore my hand one time was 69 minutes, not 80 = 11 minutes (I rounded down in my original post) taken from me.
I have been to this location before, and my massage today would have been the first time in months I was able to book an appointment with them. Not for lack of trying — I have just never been able to get a hold of a live person to schedule anything. Today, as I arrived for my 8am appointment, I was notified at 7:58am that my therapist, Shelby, had called out, and my appointment could not be accommodated. Upset at the consistently abysmal communication that is demonstrated by the staff here.Massages were fine, but don’t schedule here — not that you’ll be able to anyways.
First, I want to say how impressed I was with KC, who took my call when I scheduled an appointment for two of us. She was very professional and friendly. It was like talking to a friend regather than scheduling an appointment!The massage therapists are great. They take time to listen to what you need. I can’t wait to go again!
This place is ok. I dont care for how busy it is or how much they try to push the monthly massage package every time I come in. Plus, customer service is weird. Not terrible but not great. Ive been here twice the massage therapists were good. So if thats all youre looking for this might be a good place for you. The massage therapists were semi-friendly, not unfriendly. I like a place with a little more personal care about the costumer and not the product. Oh yeah, and the last time I went I got cold.
Ive had a membership here for around 2 years and really enjoyed it for the most part. Unfortunately, they have a lot of turn over with their therapists and its really hard to find one that you like and stick with them since they change so often.Because of COVID, most of the time you have to wait outside which I dont enjoy.They recently increased their membership prices and it just became not worth it to continue my membership especially when there are other very high quality massage places at cheaper prices with more perks.
Perfect!!!, amazing service, treatment and explanation of any questions that you might have. Prices are awesome as well. Not sure about the negative reviews, or the they do not answer the phone notes that people are leaving. My first appointment was done through the phone, and in minutes. The Join chiropractic across from here should come and take some notes from these awesome people here.
I had a bad experience with this location. I call 3-2 1/2 weeks before my birthday to schedule 3 things at one time. Never received a call back. I went in the day after Christmas to schedule my appointment. Well I had to slip-up my appointment for my birthday. Today my first schedule event ran late, I call to let them know i was told she could do a 50% discount. I called back 20mins later to let her know i would not make at my first appointment and to cancel the one after. She trying to charge me full price for both which is $89. When she said she would do a 50% off. Know where did she tell me to make sure I give them more time to be able to rebook and I was told it would be $55 for the message and like $25 for my body stretch. Then after expressing my feeling she said she can give me $9 off. Like really. Never again.
Always great massages by my favorite therapist Robert!!! Ive been a member for about 7+ years and I have always received great service. They are professionals and have wonderful staff! Their membership is very reasonable at only $65 per month and they offer so many services to meet your personal needs!
Darren is incredible! Honestly the best massage I have ever had. You truly can tell it is about making people feel better for him. Usually I get a female therapist but when I called to make an appointment he was the only available and I am so glad he was! He was attentive, through, friendly and just fantastic. Ive been here a couple of times for massages, and have always been happy with the massage I have received. That being said, I do think the front desk staff have room for improvement. Last time I came in, four front desk people were loudly chatting about non-work related things while I was waiting for my massage. I think it is important the whole experience is relaxing, so it was a bit annoying that they cant be more quiet. It also took forever to get my payment processed after my massage as I had a discount coupon and it still had not been resolved by the time I left.
How to sign up for the monthly massages our first massage was scheduled and they did not have me on there. They had my wife scheduled but not me. Rescheduled for another time had my name wrong when I filled out the form myself, and I know what my name is. And then we canceled again due to weather and they said we never canceled and charged us. Because they dont take care of their notes correctly. So I would not recommend going here. Try Hand and Stone very unprofessional
Do not get a massage at this location! Completely disgusted with the service. Called days before my appointment and cancelled appointment. I never received a phone call or email to let me know there was still an appointment scheduled. I didnt go the appointment and they charged me $75 dollars to my missed appointment. When I called I told the receptionist that I needed to speak with the manager and she says that their manager Mickey refuses to give the people who are working his private number so he can enjoy his days off. When I kept calling back I believe she said her name was Xenthia, said that she was trying to locate his number. I could hear laughing in the background as I was really upset because I was being charged $75 for something I didnt receive and I did cancel ahead of time I could hear how disrespectful to staff was. Ive asked for Mickey to call me and he has not called me. I will never ever ever go to this establishment again.
Sketchy business practices in a time of need! We asked to cancel our monthly membership, more than once, and continue to get charged. Like millions of Americans right now, we find ourselves in a very tight financial situation. Our cancellation requests were met with resistance even after making it very clear we need to prioritize our expenses and monthly massages is not one of them. We have supported this business for almost a year and a half and are now stuck with several paid massages we will be forced to use rather than being able to use that money for essential needs. As a locally owned and franchised business, it is clear this one is not interested in reciprocating support back to the community on which it relies.
It’s very discouraging that the members of this company cannot treat their guests with respect. To mistake my name repetitively was rude, hurtful, and unprofessional. Also, my massage was cut short due to the massage therapist Shelby being late to my appointment. Get it together. Standardless low class location. Do not recommend if you desire a peaceful massage! This location was great! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I was iffy at first because of the reviews but I had a great experience. I had a massage done by Brian (who is amazing btw) and a facial by Lauren, both were awesome. A lot better than the Tiffany Plaza location where the staff is rude.
Good quality service with decent depth. I always ask for the deepest and, while the depth can be a bit inconsistent, its usually pretty good. Since COVID they havent had the therapist availability needed to staff the place, I ended up wasting a bunch of credits as I couldnt schedule 3 months in advance.
I visited this location with my daughter. I was gifted 3 Massage Envy gift cards (which were purchased at King Soopers). After my service, and waiting about 10 minutes to check out they could not gift my gift cards to work. I stood at the desk for nearly 30 minutes and finally had to leave for another commitment. I received a call less than 10 minutes later from the office manager stating that my gift cards were not activated and had a zero balance. The office manager then proceeded to tell me that I should not have purchased gift cards at King Soopers. When I asked to speak to a manger she told me she was the manager. Then I asked to speak to her boss and she hung up on me. I have never been treated so disrespectful in my life. Then today I noticed that they charged my credit cards ( must have found my info from a previous appointment) without my approval. I’m pretty sure this is illegal. I will be contacting the corporate office in the morning. DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION.
Laura is the absolute best if you want your knots worked on. She is very in tune with what is going on with your body and knows exactly what to do. I had been searching for someone for about a year since my previous massage therapist moved away and she has been a godsend.The front desk folk are also very helpful and always very friendly!
Ive been a member for a long time but havent been there post-covid. I had my massage cancelled today by Massage Envy 30 mins before the appt. I was told by Stephanie I couldnt have my credit back nor my $10 fee. When I asked for corporates number I was told they didnt have it and I could google it before getting the number.
Today was my first time at Massage Envy. Deana was my massage therapist and she was wonderful. I havent felt that loose in years. She listened to my concerns and addressed them. Looking forward to my next appointment with her.
You can definitely tell how much the place has improved. Before, it was having trouble but now there’s more therapists and a better vibe. Definitely recommend.

I was gifted an hour gift card. I called in and the lady was RUDE, told me I needed to find out how much was on the gift card and how my account was created. She obviously did not know what she was talking about. Hello its a gift! My friend called to fix the issue. I then called back to set the appointment and was told they wanted my CC on file. I asked her what if a person has a gift card but no CC. She said well I guess you will not be able to use your gift card. Rude tone! Not a good way to do business. I would never spend my money there and I will be having my friend get his money back because I would never let anyone who is this rude have my business. Not professional at all! There are many massage places with NO attitude even by the phone. This makes it hard for the people who actually do the work and not just answer the phones.
I really liked this place when I joined a year or so ago. Now, though, not so much. Today is Weds and Ive been trying to book an apt since Monday - 6 calls with no answer, so far and they are NOT that busy at the front desk - but they never answer their phone and Im rarely in a place where I can receive a return call from a voicemail. If you say anything, they tell you you can book online. Well, you CAN but it isnt easy. Instead of just entering a therpists name and seeing when they have space, you have to answer a convoluted 5 or 5 step questionnaire to be matched with someone before you can choose the person you want from a list if you dont want their match. Jumped through all the hoops today only to have the website give an error code and kick me back to the start. Not worth the membership anymore, because its too much work to be able to schedule services to get the discount on.
Ive never gone out to get a massage before but I decided to just go for it with a company I was familiar with. I went to this location and Cheyenne was so incredibly knowledgable and kind in helping me make a decision for what kind of massage I should get. I will definitely be back soon!

They got my attention with their $49 advertised price. I called to scheduled an appointment only to be told that I needed to give them my credit card information just to make an appointment! I dont have to give the Doctor any info to get a first appointment, what makes them think they should get it?? Ill keep giving my business to independent CMTs.
Front desk staff at this location has scheduled my massage on the wrong day 3 separate times and I show up and it is either the next week or happened the day before and never offered to do anything to fix the problem after I drove 20 minutes to get there. The therapists range from bad to decent that I have used. Deep tissue is not really a thing for them. Overall, I would say to drive further and go to the Tamarac location.
This place is a joke and does not know how to book a appointment. I had a appointment for today which i have strep(highly dought some one to rub some one thats contagious) so i get the call that I am late ok cool since I didnt not wanna pay to reschedule I sent my wife. She arrives with more the a hour left on the massage and they tell her they will not give her a massage due to fact there is only 10 mins 15mins left???? They proceed to tell her they will not service her but will need to still charge her for a hour service when the appointment was for a hour an a half I proceed to tell them I will not pay for a service that wasnt even correct they tell me they will give me a call after talking to the massage therapist..

Left disatisified and didnt want to go back. Got a gift voucher so I thought Id try one more time, and they wouldnt honor it because I didnt want to pay to be a member! Pay for a free massage?! F that. Will never go back, will never recommend a friend. Dont go here, they dont give a C about you, just your money.
So I highly disliked this place because the check in process was very silly I waited outside for a good ten minutes before they came to check me in which ran into my massage time that I was told would be made up for needless to say they didnt was shorted about 15 minutes. Before they get started they ask and show you a diaphragm and state that all the highlighted parts in blue is what they will do which is a lie he definitely didnt do all those parts the massage it self left me feeling just as I did when I came in tight and hurt upset I paid for something that I could of got from a friend.
I am a member who has had many different therapists. I highly recommend Darren, very professional, understands the connections between pressure points and you will leave feeling better than ever. He is very experienced and you will get the therapy you deserve well over the price you pay!
Im a new customer and I have tried twice there and I had one set for 3pm yesterday and someone got in an accident and then they rescheduled me for today at 11 and I pull in to the location at 1028am and they call me and a different therapist got in a car accident how convenient.. Didnt offer me anything else.I emailed the company and no response and I really needed this massage.

I think it should have been better communicated that my husband wasn’t able to pick whether or not he could choose between a male or a female they basically told me through the phone that we weren’t getting reimbursed and they had to charge the full amount since we had booked an appointment.
No one picks up the phone, as a company they go out of their way to be an inconvenience and scam you on massage plans only to blame understaffing and absolutely no support to do right by there wrongs. Go somewhere else!

This place sucks! I bought a gift card for my girlfriend. The front desk staff were rude and weird. My girlfriend told me the message also was horrible. I paid for a deep tissue message and she said it felt like a small child was giving the message. Dont go to this place its not worth your money!!! #PissedOff
