This place is ok, it was WAY better a year ago. It is what it is, they had a great crew that knew the shop really well, but it cant be easy to retain experienced workers at a smoke shop. Now its basically a bunch of new people that still seem to be learning the ropes. Also I have lived in this area my entire life, and I have never been asked to leave a tip, verbally, after my purchase. Very unusual, at least around here. I am a bud tender in the area, I dont make tips, I just get paid a fair wage...Also I used to recommend Hotbox to my customers looking for more glass options, but I havent been doing that because the vibe in that shop has gone from chill to tense and awkward. They do have good products though.

Wes was a phenomenal help today when my boyfriend and I were looking for some nice good bangers and lots of wraps. Wes was very knowledgeable and cordial and even showed me how to use the High Roller before we bought it. Super awesome customer service and we gave him a lucky $2 bill, make sure he gets it!

These guys are the best. I broke my tank last night while filling it, and came in 5 minutes before closing. They hooked me up with a disposable tank, and were (and always are!) super helpful and friendly. 5 star service and great prices!

Theres a scruffy guy who works there who kept calling me sweetie and saying things like that. Like ew, I came for a vape. Then he encouraged me to try it out right there. Another worker got annoyed when I did. Then I asked for a disposable nic vape, and he had no interest in showing me any. Didnt give me any help with my new battery. Except for telling me to fet red since it would match my lips???. :(

Worst service Ive ever seen in state. Disgusting customer service. Actually lack of any service + discrimination without any reason! Dont waste your time on this shop, choose any other location and youll get better service. Yesterday we came to this store, and I didnt have the ID BUT MY FRIEND had it. I told to salesman that Im leaving the store, but my friend will to buy tobacco by himself because he has all documents! he refused to sell to any of us because I have no document. According to his inexplicable logic, in this case, this employee should have refused absolutely all the other people who were nearby in the store. since he did not do this, seller named - Joseph DISCRIMINATED THE STORE VISITORS, CUSTOMERS and frankly behaved boorishly with the person while at the workplace. Later, my friend said that he was the same seller accused him of allegedly trying to pay for a purchase with counterfeit money, which is simply humiliating. This is was the last time I wanted to buy anything in this store and I intend to achieve an adequate solution to this conflict personally or through the courts.

I will never, ever return to this totally mis managed joke!They have some product and supplies, but their entire staff is brain dead!Its like the movie Dumb and Dumber!The staff was high as a kite, and every order was a 20 minute conversation because they were high!If you want to stand around for 30 to 45 minutes because the staff is incompetent and wasted, this is your place!I will never return and you lost a paying customer!A 0 star in my experience there!

The worker and manager here at the Factoria location are extremely rude. Between being snotty when asking question and the manager being just as much of a snot the owners of this establishment need to make some serious adjustments with their staff!! I went into HotBox looking for a few accessories since it was my first time smoking. Wesly the Assistant Manager there was a delight and knowledgably with the products. He took his time walking me through what I would need for my first set up and did not make me feel rushed. If you are a first timer like me make sure you ask him for help! This man knows what he is talking about!

My experience with this shop was great! Eli (I think thats what his name is, if I recall) was very professional, friendly and professional in helping me get my new vape that I was replacing at the time, got really good brand battery that has been lasting me for the last couple to few days and even recommended many e-juices to me that would save me if I bought a 60mg bottle that would cost me $35 comparative to a 30mg that would be $25 or $30! The place was really quiet and very clean which is very good for when you walk-in for a first appearance. Overall, I would very much recommend this place for vape mod, e-juice and other needs! If you want great service, definitely go to Eli for assistance and you will get awesome service & wont regret coming in, getting what you need.

We went inside looking for an e-nail for my husband. We walked out happy as can be, with an amazing new set up!! Gio was so very helpful & knowledgeable about his inventory -- He spent so much time with us! Amazing customer service dude THANK YOU. He really made sure that every single item we bought was intentional & that it worked. It all made sense for what my husband was looking for & we set up a rewards program too, we definitely plan on coming back!

Bought an herb vape for 160$. broke within a week. wouldnt replace or refund. bad customer service.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Selection is pretty good and they have some really neat pieces. Spent a fair amount of time with us, going over various products, their opinions, and personal experiences. We ended up purchasing a product we had already researched and planned on getting, but being shown other options was definitely appreciated. Im torn between 4 and 3 stars however, as their prices (for the products we checked out at least) seemed high. What we ended up purchasing was about $25 higher than the msrp on the manufacturers website, but supporting a local business and the quality of the service was enough for us to overlook the price hike and buy. If the pricing was more competitive I could see coming here regularly, but for now itll just have to be occasional. I would definitely recommend at least a visit though!

Pay attention to recent reviews, I’m a veteran of this shop for 5 years and used to be my go to, now has terrible prices compared to near by shops and on top of that terrible customer service from most the workers. If your product is defective it’s your fault the shop will not compensate you, go somewhere else!

I came in late one evening on a hunt for a vaporizer. I am burning concentrates and had a lot of in depth questions on the various products they had in store. And when I meant in depth I really mean getting down to the knitty gritty! Luckily I had a very helpful, understanding, patient and well informed Sales Associate Dalton (I might be butchering the spelling).He helped me navigate this new realm of the store and answered all my questions. Like anyone who’s in a sales profession you can tell when someone is pushing a product, trying to rush a close, how genuine and so forth by their mannerisms. I did not have any of those inklings from Dalton. He took the time to understand my problem then recommended the best solution for it. I left with a new vaporizer as per his recommendation, a new friend and an overall amazing experience.Hotbox has consistently been my local one stop shop for ALL my recreation needs. And I will continue supporting them and telling my coworkers about my experience.

Prices are higher 25-30% than others places for electronic cigarettes. I purchased one e-cigarette, right after I walked out of store and tried it. When I figured that it doesn’t work properly I came back ask for exchange and they refused me saying all looks good. Very bad experience. Do not recommend that store

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I purchased a box mod from them, only to later discover it could be found elsewhere for 3 times cheaper. The juice selection was pretty good, but at $20 a piece for 60ml bottles, its still kind of a ripoff.

Never again. I have been consistently spending large amounts of $ at this store for nearly 5 yrs. I am an avid vaper, and I have been for 13 years now. Im active with CASAA, & i regularly go to conventions and vape functions and I work tirelessly to convert smokers from combustible tobacco to vaping-so i buy a lot of disposables that I give away... And I buy them from this store. Recently I bought a $22 disposable for myself tho, and it worked for a few hours and stopped. It was a geekbar that has a transparent tank, so you could clearly see it was still full of juice. The light would come on when you hit it, but no vapor would come out. I was at work the whole weekend, so afterwards I took it back. I showed the employee what it was doing and I asked if they would apply the cost towards another more expensive one because they were out of mine. He said no, basically thats just too bad, even tho you could see the full tank of juice and the light coming on. Not only have I spent thousands there, but I also send new people there on a regular basis because of the industry that Im in. So, they would rather lose all of that business rather than apply twenty bucks for their faulty product towards something else. Whomever owns that store is obviously clueless about doing good business, and in todays econimy it looks like a small business would want to keep loyal customers. However, it was blatantly obvious from this employess attitude that none of that matters to this store, so I will be shopping at Xhale from now on, and thats where I will send new customers from now on.as well. Customer service is so important, yet so hard to find. So tacky.

Hotbox has been my go to for years because they have the best customer service hands down. Not too pricey, but there’s cheaper smoke shops.

They always take care of me right. Prices are a tad high but the staff is nice.

I absolutely love this shop. Not only are they open later than almost anywhere else but they always take the extra time to give personalized service and educate their customers. I can walk in to just purchase a product and theyll make sure I know what Im doing without ever making me feel as clueless as I am.When it comes to areas where I am more experienced they genuinely celebrate with me as well! My favorite shop by far.

Their prices are higher than other hotbox locations on some items. Staff seem inexperienced, and at times disrespectful. When I pointed out that theyre charging twice as another location, some kid came out from the back saying, I dont believe that. Let me get them on the phone for you, snarky. Youd call me a liar? Like Id lie to save $3 on a pouch of tobacco, when God gave me more than he gave you. And where would I pick up a lie like that?Id recommend going to the Montlake Terrace or Hwy 99 location for consistent service

Had exactly what we needed, when we needed it.Reasonable price on 18650 batteries. Nice selection to choose from.Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the product selection. In and out in under 15 minutes. Will go to again and do recommend!

Friendly service and overly priced mods. The sets were easily $25 higher than other shops and/or online. I would suggest they find a cheaper wholesale price to cut back on their margins. Clean place and quite a variety and it has a convenient location.

I used to love this shop and I enjoyed going in because everyone was super friendly and awesome but alas not anymore. I would like to note a couple of things before I go any further:1. This review is not directed towards 3 people who work there. Unfortunately I do not recall their names but one is a blonde girl who is always always super nice, friendly, and over the top helpful. The other is a guy who I think might be a supervisor, he often works with the blonde girl, he is always super nice, friendly, and over the top helpful. And the other is a fairly new guy with darker hair. We have chatted about raspberry pi’s and other nerdy things. He too has always been nice and friendly so please do not count this less than stellar review against those 3 employees. They don’t deserve to be lumped into the rudeness of the rest of the shop.2. I have been a customer for a long time. I spend hundreds of dollars when I come in. And I come in pretty regularly. Unfortunately that doesn’t mean jack diddly to the shop owner and his employees including another manager who literally made me feel bad communicating with her. Like my stomach felt icky and I had a physical reaction to her overall negativity. She clearly doesn’t like working with people as this was my experience multiple times dealing with her.3. This review is specifically my experience of the last 3 times I visited and I will no longer be shopping here after my last experience.The last 3 times I was here were beyond frustrating. This includes being sold expensive product under false advertising and not allowed to bring it back, being sold the wrong product asked for, having more than 300 points not counted on my account even after several reminders, and finally being shamed, embarrassed, and ultimately kicked out. I really should give 0 stars if I could and really the 3 given are for your only 3 good employees.My final experience was with the shop owner. Straight to the point - that guy was infuriating. I still can’t believe how he treated me! What a piece of work with piss poor management style. He not only shamed me but also his employee out in the open. It was a ridiculously hot day and I needed to run in really quick (my purchase would have been around $100 bucks) so not my usual time/money spent regardless nobody should ever be treated this way. I came in and asked one of the girls working if I could let my dogs come in with me just really quick as I didn’t want them to be outside in the hot. She was friendly and said “Yeah that’s okay! You can bring your dogs in!” Wow cool! So I get their blanket and a distraction chew toy and bring them in. They are calm and sit right where I tell them too and I proceed. That’s when I see the shop owner who looks at me and my dogs with utter disgust. Clearly he has an issue. He asked “Are you going to be done soon? We don’t like dogs” I replied “Yes I’m sorry, I was told I could bring them in really quick, I just need to grab something and we will be out in just a couple minutes.” He then proceeded to tell me that again he didn’t like dogs and said his employee is not fully trained and didn’t have the authority to approve such a request. Keep in mind she heard this too. What a nice welcome! He then suggested that I put my dogs right outside the door and I said well that defeats the purpose now doesn’t it. It’s HOT outside. Hot! After embarrassing me by bringing attention to that part of the shop and saying numerous times he doesn’t like dogs with a look of disgust and openly shaming his new employee, he ultimately asked me to leave. Keep in mind I could have been in and out twice now in the time this confrontation was from start to finish. Suffice to say, I was pissed and very upset when I left. I cried on the way home. And overall felt like an idiot.I know this was my fault as hindsight I should have waited another day when I didn’t have my dogs and it wasn’t 90 plus outside; however, I still don’t think there is any justification for how I was treated especially because I had permission to bring my dogs inside.

Went in for juice. This has been my third time to the store. Each time they’ve been super limited on their 3mg juices. I specifically asked for no menthol juice a couple times. Asked for the Hawaiian pog. Got home and realized they gave me a Hawaiian pog iced. Call back to the store and spoke to the manager. He wouldn’t refund me my money nor give me another juice. He said best he could do was give me $10 I store credit. The bottle was 25 before tax. I’m not going to spend more money there because they gave me the wrong juice. If you decide to go here double check everything before you leave.

We came in for a banger and left with a whole new dab set. My girlfriend and I were very impressed with the knowledge and time the staff took to walk us through our options. We feel confident in our choices and will be back for new items soon.

I started vaping again recently. MANY of the products have changed since I quit and I needed to get a completely new setup while being unfamiliar with the products. Flora was so helpful to me and continues to be whenever I come in. She is always patient and very informative explaining things and helping me find things that are a good fit for me. She is an absolute rockstar in customer service and the reason I continue to come back. Thank you girl!

Great variety of pipes, kratom... But there was no bubble pipes. Something about not wanting that type of business... Interesting business mentality and wares to be distributed while having some sort of prejudicial discrimination against a certain chemical consuming sub-group of the recreational substance consumers. Kinda felt awkward enough enquiring about such things. Since this is the kind of shop that normally would carry the glass bubbles. So, a little bit surprised, disappointed, and slightly insulted because of someones decision to lump all oil vaporizer consumers together and then deny to carry the traditional way of vaporizing but having electric vaporizers? Does everyone understand that shards dissolve in ejuice? Do all the crystal connesieurs want to breathe in the ejuice just to use that chem? It just sells like the normal thing to do is keep it behind the counter and out of sight. Maybe to still help those users, but to simultaneously not cause distress among those more conservative leaning neighbors who dont quite grasp what it really means to reside in a liberal democracy. Because thats what I thought this place was, and so wouldnt it follow reason to assume that MOST people arent offended by what things they dont care for when such things are kept discreetly out of view. The staff is great, my only issue being the minor one. Because to have to continue the search after visiting the store is going to substantially frustrate this group of shoppers. Thats just lost business. That is bad business. And maybe if not carrying the glass bubble pipes Is something that you feel does support the local demographics, then go ahead and broadcast that. I would recommend making it a prominent display so that those crystal users dont feel slightly uncomfortable. Why would a shop owner/operator want any visiting shoppers to feel awkward or ashamed? The war on drugs included a HUGE misinformation campaign and resulted in unfair and unreasonable violations of individual liberties, true life, and social justice.

Good selection, helpful staff... Extremely high prices for vape juice. $30+ for a 100ml 3mg bottle. Highest prices I have ever paid at ANY store.Its a nice layout, well lit and good variety.They also have a wide selection of pipes, bongs, storage units, etc.Only qualm I have is with the high prices. I have a feelings its because they are located in Bellevue/Factoria.

Recently purchased an atomizer that they have been out of stock of for a week, when they got them back on the shelves went right over. Went to my car and walked right back in after noticing it was defective and missing a component. Was treated as if I attempted to install it incorrectly and lost the piece myself, and that I was trying to pull one over on them. Even after showing them that I couldnt have even removed that part because it was a trapped piece that couldnt be accidentally removed. Acted as though they she was perfect and couldnt have possibly made a mistake and had a bad part they overlooked.Terrible customer service, thats not how you keep customers coming back, wont be returning.Just shop online, half the price and actual customer service.

Open until 10pm. I arrived at 9:50pm looking for some juice for my vape. Even though they dont stock the specific brand I want, the guy behind the counter put down whatever her was doing and turned his focus on me trying to decipher the unfamiliar (to me) labels and names of the different flavors, asking questions about the majority of them... then my inability to decide which of the containers I was going to gamble my cash on.... with 3 minutes till closing..He was polite and relaxed and I didnt feel as if he was looking at the clock. He didnt make any remarks or give any body language of someone who was trying to get me out of the store so he could close up and go home.Easy, professional and knowledgeable. Did I mention theyre open until 10pm?

I came here to purchase a juul device and pods Which I have never bought before And unfamiliar with Pricing. They way overcharged MeAnd flat out lied to me and refused to refund me or Make it right and I still hadnt left the store. Crazy! Never apologized. Dont buy here And you can find juuls for $10 at gas stations dont come here and spend 30

No posted prices, staff not well educated on products, customers at mercy. They will and do selectively sell higher cost products and omit information about higher/lower quality products at lower prices. They will sell you anything you request (as an authority) without informing you the products dont coincide or should not be used together and prevent you from reviewing the product yourself instore untill they have your cash. Buyer beware.Update, was contacted via review page by this business after posting. They questioned what I thought they should do to improve, apparently they did not even read the review, the answers for my thoughts on improvements were vontained within. Just another business out of touch with its consumers.

Very friendly service! I drive 20mins out of my way just to go to this smoke shop. Its very clean and spacious inside. Wonderful and friendly service. It doesnt stink like most smoke shops smell. Like I said I drive 20 minutes out of my way to go here when between my house and the hotbox there are at least 5-10 smoke shop I can easily stop at.They stay open late for your convenience and are easily located in factoria on the other side of the street across from the mall.Definitely a customer for life. Ive gotten my vape devices and juice from here regularly over the last year and the staff has aleays been very friendly and helpful. They greet you as you walk in and make sure that your walking out with a product that your haply with. Theyre also open during tines when most vape shops are closed and participate in a rewards program that gives discounts after youve earned enough points. Very happy with their services :)

A bunch of cheaters !!. Never believe a word they say. They promised a 1 day return if the package is unopened as I said I was shopping a gift and was unsure. Next day I came back as this was the product my friend didnt want and they said I didnt say anything like that about return. She was just ready to do anything to make a sale and steal money from you. Worst experience ever, stole $150 from me. Dont ever shop here and also the products online are 40% cheaper, They charged me 100$ for a smok alien kit.

Super courteous, even just 10-15 min before close; and even tho I was mostly in-and-out with what I needed pretty quickly, they still had no problem letting me look at their glass up until just before close.

They have the best selection, the best products , amazing quality pieces with reasonable prices. They literally have everything there you could imagine. And what really sets this place apart for me is the customer service, everyone who works there is always super friendly and helpful and super chill, and they know there stuff so they can really give you great suggestions, I will only shop here for my smoking needs, I love this place check it out.

U can order anything they have on line for 70% at least off there prices. Took a friend there and when they git to car realized she had purchased the wrong item. Went back in w/in 3-4 min and they refused to do an exchange. So make sure if you use this type of store you know what your buying no exchange no return!!!!

Very dishonest. Sold cigarette tobacco instead of pipe tobacco. try to exchange they wouldn’t, saying they are the same thing. No they are not. That’s why they called cigarette tobacco and pipe tobacco and you are running tobacco shop.

I only give them one star because you cant give a zero.There Kratom is the highest price Ive seen at any store.The liquid kratom shot O.P.M.S. is priced at just over $30. Thats $10 higher than most other places.The wanna be know it all female employee is extremely annoying.I will never return to this store!

Every time Ive ever been here Im always greeted by someone, and they are always super helpful with the questions I have regarding pretty much anything in their store. They are also very easy to get to from Mercer island, and are open late.

The precision and excellence of the staff was unprecedented in the industry. Best smoke shop in Bellevue highly recommend that you snag Gio as your premier glass and tobacco product expert he will surely guide you with precision to whatever excellent product you desire.

Great staff and service gets this place 3 stars... otherwise if you are coming for e-juice, go elsewhere. Prices on 30 ml bottles average around $25-$30 a bottle; essentially at least double what you would pay from either Seattle vapor co or thunderhead directly (the two lines they offer here... thats right, two). They pale in comparison to just about any other smoke shop offering vapor in selection, and as mentioned the little they have is overpriced. I used to come here often (again, the people here are awesome and are the main reason I come in at all) but once I figured out how much the owners markup was after spending way too much money here, I only now drop in once in a blue moon. Only when I am in a pinch and cant wait for my delivery to arrive in the mail will I swing through, and I live only a mile from the Bellevue store. Also, there are no testers set up and cannot smell the ejuices any more... apparently I was told the issue was the new regulations, but plenty of other vapor stores have testers set up. Seattle vapor cos store for one has testers and said you just have to provide fresh mouthpieces and separate testers for each loaded flavor... so its a matter of investment. This place doesnt really try to be a vape store, it is apparent, but it seems like a lost opportunity with other stores being a ways away in crossroads. Expand the e-juice selection to more product lines and that might justify (maybe) the higher prices a bit.

This place has the greatest customer service! The employees are attentive and friendly. This place oozes professionalism. This is the nicest smoke shop in the Pacific Northwest. Also, its very clean and well stocked.

All the sales representatives know exactly what they are talking about and are very nice. Their rewards system is a great bonus too if you are a repeat customer like myself.

Purchased a bong on Friday 12/2 which was GUARENTEED not to explode from using a titanium nail. I got home around 7 pm in which I part took two times. The third time after heating and into my inhalation, the bong explodes at the point where the nail sits. I was reassurred the 30 mins in the store that this would not happen. HASH TECH is the item of choice which sells itself to sustain from the damages of high heat, my nail was not glowing red and did not melt the material entirely. The bong explodes which caused a chunk of glass to cut my leg open, minor but none the less shattering glass over me and my dog. The store says all sales are final. I used the product 3 times and it explodes. Im not new to this. Sad the store will not back or guarentee their product. I tried to talk with the Manager on duty named AJ. Where she took the stance consistently that all sales are final. Gave me a number to the General Manager, which the phone number is to the Seattle location not the general managers number, and who she said was working at the other store. I called the Seattle store, no manager on duty and was not supplied any number to reach a manger, owner of the business, or a human resources manager. I called back Kirkland store and talked to an employee who owns the exact same bong and claimed no issues. He then stated that sounds like a manufacturing issue and you should also contact them. Sustaining an injury due to the bong exploding is not due to my error and ANY company selling ANY product is not willing to back their product they sell shows a sign of shady business. I do not recommend them to anyone!

This is a terrible place. The staff have no idea what theyre talking about. I overhead one of the workers, a male tonight, tell a customer that the only difference between the cheap juice and expensive juice was the purity of the flavor. And thats it. The female worker was a total moron...enough said. Personally, I think she should go tell baby daddy number 3 that it might be time for her to go back to get her GED. This two bit vape tech stuff was obviously a little too much for her.I dont have time to fully elaborate on the idiocy that was this dynamic duo.

Price is 60% over the same product you can buy on the official website. Bought a Juul vibe kit with $65, and it is sold at 40 online. Will never go to this place again.

Bought a dab battery was told during purchase if it didnt work for what I was using it for I could bring it back and receive a full refund. When it didnt work I brought it back only a few hours after purchase to be told that they will not take it back. They have lost my business. I would not reccomend buying anything from here.

The rolling tobacco I got was completely dried out. Tried to return it and was told that no exchanges would occur. Asked for a humidifier for free and she said she couldnt do it. In other words I pretty much just got a crappy product and could do nothing about it.
