Travis worked wonders on my knots and stiff muscles. It’s so hard to find a true deep tissue massage…he certainly knows the art! On top of that the facility is very nice and relaxing. If I lived in the are, I would be there once a week!

Honestly, I was so disappointed. I have had memberships at several different massage places and NEVER, not once, felt so bamboozled when I left. It was the worst experience. I paid $400 for my husband and I, and frankly, felt like I was better off before the massage. I could HEAR everyone else in the building. I could hear my husband cough, talk to his therapist, all of it. So what was I paying for? There was literally zero overhead comparatively speaking. I will never recommend this place. I felt like we got scammed.I spoke to the GM to schedule both massages, told her I had been recovering from 3 surgeries in the last year and a half and was really looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the massage. Nowhere, in our half hour conversation, did she say anything about the setup of the location - which clearly was not a normal setup and something that should have been mentioned.ETA, since I can’t reply to your response, I HAVE communicated this to you directly through email and the survey I was emailed after the massages. Yet, I knew posting a review here would somehow elicit a response.

I can’t say enough good things about The Now in Boulder. I’m hesitant to say this, because I don’t want her so booked I can’t get in…but Annessa is quite literally an Angel Magician. I always leave feeling like I moved from being a bag of rocks to blissed out jelly. So grateful for the peaceful environment, the kind front desk staff and for a masseuse that is simply the best.

My husband and I have been coming here for a few months now and loved it so much that we ended up signing up for their monthly membership. My last massage was with Travis and it was phenomenal! I will definitely be booking with him again!

Travis was great! He addressed my problem area (chronic pain in this area for years) and checked in appropriately on pressure. He also gave some tips for the next several days post-massage for recovery (again, chronic pain issues with a very painful and triggering spot) which I really appreciated. He was very knowledgeable on the exact muscles and deep tissue work that needed to be done. Definitely recommend!

The staff at this location is so helpful and friendly. I was able to book a couple of last minute massages after a long day. Travis was a wonderful massage therapist!

After freshman college move in, I was stiff and sore and Victoria knew EXACTLY what I needed for my neck and lower back. I can not wait for my next visit when I have more time. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Amazing place I’ve been coming here since it open and truly everyone from the desk staff to the masseuses are incredible. The atmosphere is beautiful with a fantastic design. Couldn’t recommended more. (the membership is really good and honestly worth it in my opinion)

Wow. I don’t think I have ever come out of a massage totally forgetting where I was. I was in such a calm, relaxed daze from my massage. Travis is amazing and really knows the body. I went in with some IT band tightness and he worked my glutes, the hips and IT band. It was amazing!! My boyfriend and I ended up signing up for a memebrship!

I was pretty underwhelmed with my experience. I work in the beauty and wellness industry and have many many massages. This would rank amongst the bottom. I am traveling and booked this appointment for general muscle relief and to address knee pain I was experiencing. I chose to add the Eye Mask treatment for an extra $15 as I felt I could use a refreshing perk.Key points I found disappointing:1. As a first time guest, I was not given an understanding of how the space worked and the rules of the open shared space.2. When asked my desired level of pressure, I replied moderate. I was met with a doubtful look and told I could let him know during the service. I know what I want, thanks.3. I arrived 5 minutes prior to the appointment, filled out a brief questionnaire and used the restroom. I was told I likely would not receive the full experience because I was ‘late.’ I looked at my watch and it was 5 past the appointment time and the service had started. If service time does not include a consultation and disrobing without cutting into massage time, that’s just bad business.3. When my massage therapist entered the room to begin, I attempted to explain a detail of how my body was feeling, I was told I was not supposed to talk in the space… but he could answer any questions. Huh?4. The energy and greeting from this therapist were super off. Needs some training on guest service. I felt uncomfortable and couldn’t relax throughout the service.5. The massage itself was meh. Felt like a first year post training level of skill. Better than nothing but nothing I’d recommend.6. The ‘Add On Eye Mask’ were literally the under eye treatments that I have at home. Total disappointment. I shared this after my service and was not charged.Overall, it’s not the experience I expect. I would not go back or recommend to a friend.

Love this place so much. Becoming a monthly member is one of the best things I’ve done for myself since becoming a mom. Annessa is especially fantastic—such a lovely human and intuitive massage therapist. It seemed like she knew just where to focus and exactly how much pressure I needed. Will 1000% be booking with her again.

I had a massage with Annessa today. I don’t know if I’ve ever had a better massage in my life. It’s definitely worth coming in to check it out and give it a try. There probably isn’t any massage company out there better than this. I met the owner Brian as well. He’s extremely friendly and welcomed me in with warmth. 10/10 recommend.

Annessa was absolutely amazing. After neglecting some self care for months I was in need of a serious tune up. Upon entering the room was immediately transported somewhere serene. The massage was so incredible, I almost fell asleep like 5 times as she worked out all my muscle stress and fatigue. When I finally got off the table I was in a daze, possibly massage drunk in a state of bliss and relaxation. What an amazing experience!

I had an incredible massage today at the NOW Massage Boulder from Sierra. She is intuitive with a full understanding of how our bodies function. She addressed the sports related issues/injuries Ive carried with me through the years at a level Ive never experienced from a massage therapist before. I have had many massages from massage therapists in the Boulder/Denver but none compare to the massage I received today from Sierra. Thank you Sierra!!

Travis did an excellent job applying the firm pressure I like. He also gave the best psoas release I’ve had and relieved a lot of tension from an injury.

Ive been a fan of The NOW for years since I discovered them back in CA, and Im so excited theyre here in Boulder! I went for my first massage at this location and was immediately taken in my the signature aroma of their candles. So relaxing. I was greeted with warmth and smiles by the entire staff. My therapist was thorough in our consultation and I left the session feeling oh so relaxed.

Sierra was AMAZING, and targeted spots on old injuries that are sensitive with accuracy and grace. I dont live in Boulder, but Im tempted to stop in this location any time Im in the area in the future. They gave me a free add-on scalp treatment for my birthday, and were mindful of asking my preferences and what Im comfortable with.

Travis was an absolute wizard. I will definitely be coming back to see him!

Disappointed! I’ve thought not writing this review, but I can’t stop thinking about how I felt when I left.It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I went in for a 50 minute full body massage and left with only getting half my body getting massaged. The person giving the massage said “whoops I ran out of time”. Only 40 minutes later. It was not my fault he was running late!!!Plus when I mentioned it to the front desk they didn’t have much to say about my dissatisfaction. Other than sorry!Sincerely,Disappointed customer

Had a massage for the first time last night and had an incredible experience. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I felt super relaxed. Adison, the experience guide at the front desk, is super friendly and accommodating. The massage rooms are very elegant and the ambiance is perfect with the sound of smooth crashing waves. Annessa was my massage therapist and she’s the best, both as a professional and a person. I highly recommend the Gua Sha and Deep Tissue add-ons. I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

This was my first time receiving at one of the ‘Now’ massage franchises, specifically the location in Boulder, CO.I very much appreciated the ‘yes’ we can take you Today and ‘Yes’ we can accommodate your timeframe.The location is easily accessed and has both street and garage parking available.It is a ‘minimal is more ‘ Style of interior design with the massage spaces cleverly divided by a series of floor to ceiling heavy woven linen cloth panels. The temp was adequate and the tables are heated.I had requested a DT massage, as was coming off a 3 day cross the country drive. ‘Now’ was able to accommodate my request and also suggested the ‘hemp calm balm’ as an add-on, for my neck and shoulders area.My assigned therapist, Wesley did not disappoint. Suffice, he listened to my list of ’issue areas’ and addressed all effectively.Wesley is both well trained and competent in his skills. Professional and courteous. I Highly recommend him.Disclaimer.. I myself am an MT, going on 20years now. Note…We are the hardest people to please. Picky and unforgiving when skills are lacking. That is, UNLESS we find ourselves in competent hands. Pun intended. Am thankful and proud (profession wise) to say Wesley was/is an awesome therapist. You will not be disappointed.Thank you Wesley and ‘NOW’. I’ll be back.

I have been getting massages for many years, both in Florida and now in Colorado, so I am particular about the studios I go to and the therapists I see. The NOW not only provides me with a transcendental experience from the atmosphere and aesthetics to listening to the sound of crashing waves throughout the massage, but each therapist Ive seen has been attentive, communicative, professional, and able to address my needs and concerns. I enjoy the add-ons that The NOW offers that other massage studios do not; for example, I frequently add the gua sha stone to my appointments, which I’ve found helps apply that added deep pressure I enjoy. I always leave their studio feeling relaxed, refreshed, and at ease— with gratitude to Ben and his team.

My visit to The Now was great! It was so relaxing! She gave extra attention to my feet and head. The atmosphere was quiet with a scent of lavender which added to the relaxation. I would recommend The Now to anyone.
