This was my first trip to Ohio for a family wedding. Our first night was Thursday, and every bar in this summer college town appeared dead. Uptown-Downtown appeared the same but when we walked in, we were surprised at the space and the decent crowd. Good service and generous pours made this a good spot. We came back on Friday night and the crowd was much better than the previous night. Plenty of bar games, a massive big screen for playoff games, and once again generous pours had everyone enjoying the evening. If I do ever come back to Bowling Green, Ill be visiting Uptown-Downtown again.

Didnt eat here. My old college hang out has seen some serious upgrades since the 90s but the place is pretty much the same. Brought back tons of memories. Bartenders were excellent.

Yikes. Got a pizza once and it was okay. Guy working smelled bad. Then I decided to try them again the next day. The guy working had the same exact clothes on and smelled putrid. Nooooo thank you! Ill be going to the far superior pizza hut! A great chain restaurant that REQUIRES employees to shower

Its a loud bar but we were able to hear if we spoke up. The Reuben sandwich was delicious. The staff were friendly and professional.

Drinks are very inconsistent. But I mean if that’s what you’re looking for..

Bartenders are always friendly, however its always hard to figure out where your suppose to order when everyone crowds and sits around the bar

The music is a bit too loud. You should be able to hear the person sitting across from you. And the TVs need too have captions turned on for deaf/disabled people. Other than that and a very small patio, its a decent sports bar. Very spacious, friendly and competent bartenders, and a good atmosphere.

The night cook was amazing. He runs the kitchen himself all night with 50+ people to serve, the food was perfect, and served in a timely manner. He was very personable as well. I recommend the fried mac n cheese

Since my last review, the place has definitely gotten a lot better. The food is good and did not take aslong as it did four years ago. Great bartenders aswell

Downtown is the best sports bar in town. They have Sunday ticket, and tons of pay per views. Maybe the best happy hour too. Two dollar 20 Oz domestic drafts, well drinks, and free pool till 9. Food is super cheep and good.

Downtown gets 5 stars. Great atmosphere with terrific employees. The food is great and fairly priced. Easily my favorite spot in Bowling Green and the surrounding area. It feels just like home.

Horrible staff!! Bartender was very extremely rude. Accused me and a friend of talking negatively about her and refused to serve us. And threatened to have us kicked out for no reason. Was looking forward to the opening of uptown but this bartender totally ruined it for me and my friends

Great bar food and solid drinks. Ordered tater tots and a blue cheese burger with waffle fries. I had to ask for lettuce, tomato and onion, but it was delicious and so were the waffle fries and tater tots. The grill is open late!

Great atmosphere, chill on a weekday but still a good getaway when looking for bar life.

Best place in town for stereotypical bar food. Absolutely love grabbing a burger or jalapeno poppers and something from the tap, especially after a long day of work.

This bar is a nice place to just get a drink and relax during the day, and enjoy some night life in the evening. Theres always something interesting going on with themes. Also, there are drink specials most days.

Drinks are ok but music on the second floor is horrible. Theres a dance floor but music is absolutely not for dance. Whats the point to play soft music at the dance floor on a graduation Friday pass midnight???????????

I like this place. Has foosball and pool tables and decent prices. Staff are extremely antsy near the end of the night. They just want you to get out. They start closing and kicking people out sooner than most places.

Favorite place to watch a Browns game. Also where I met my soon to be wife

The food from here made me reconsider having Jesus back in my life it was that good.

They helped me find my favorite drink, the jolly green giant. And their nachos are bomb. Support them!

Decent environment. One of the bartenders was extremely rude to my friends and I. After they ignored us for a while, we were finally served by a different bartender, who was very nice in comparison...

Great place to dance (uptown), or grab a drink and chill (downtown). Only reason not giving 5 stars is because they poorly manage holiday events.

Average bar, somewhat clean.. bartenders were nice and quick.. but it was really busy and they seemed like they needed more workers.

Im vegetarian but they dont have vegetarian food on the menu. The cook kindly made me egg tacos. They were delicious.

My fave bar. Free pool unlimited. Good daily deals on drinks and a fun place to hang out. I am found in downtown more often.

Grill open until 2am Thursday through Saturday! Sundays are 35 cent wing day. And the bar is open 356 days of the year!

Lots of fun friendly people good staff . Appetizers tasty. TVs everywhere with a variesty of sports.pool and other games for something to do.

They should bring back Motown nights every Monday. When I was a student at BGSU back in the 80s..Motown night was the most popular night.

Bartender was worried more about socializing with her friends then serving the rest of the bar. Uptown service was great before Covid

The only bar I go to when Im in BG. Great music and great crowd. Make sure you go on a busy night, thats when its the best.

It is a bar with alcohol and bar food. The oil the cook in seems to give 3 out of 10 of my friends digestive issues. Some TVs, pool table; like I said a bar.

Quite alright. Check your pool balls before you rack. We had duplicate 2s and 7s.
