LaVida Massage

0 stars (if it was an option) because I havent been there yet and they wanted me to pay a cancellation fee. Not feeling well and told this to the front desk when cancelling appointment (didnt want to get anyone sick). So beware if you are under the weather and need to cancel they will charge you a fee. Needless to say I wont be giving my business to this spa:-(

Ive been looking for a new massage therapist since moving to the area 12+months ago and booked my first LaVida appointment on a whim. Abby is phenomenal. She is extremely skilled at releasing shoulders, back, hips. The release & relief are fabulous. So much so I booked a monthly membership to make sure I intentionally have self care moments.

Been going to LaVita in Brighton for over 10 years. Everyone that has worked there over the years has been amazing!

My massage was amazing. Probably one of the best massages Ive ever had!! From the minute I walked in my experience was exceptional, everything was very clean and welcoming I felt very comfortable. The young lady at the front desk was also very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back.

Be careful when you prepay monthly. I had several prepaid massages. I could not get an appointment because they were short in staff. I turned off the prepayment because I was up to 4 prepay and couldnt get appointment. They took my money and said it had been too long so they would not honor my prepaid sessions.

Joy is very professional. She knows what my skin needs. I’m 66 years old and when I leave there I feel like my skin is glowing. Joy is very good.

My wife treated me to a year supply of massages after she had a great experience. It had been awhile since I had last had a massage at LaVida so I kind of forgot how nice they are. It was a great experience and I thought Donna was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Looking forward to my next service!

Donna is one of the best therapists I have ever had. She knows what I need and remembers the little things. Donna is very accommodating when it comes to scheduling. Anna Lee also takes great care of me when it comes to Donna’s impossible schedule. It is great to feel like a special customer.

I liked the friendliness of the receptionist (Bridgette.) The prices are fair and they are accommodating to pregnant patients. I loved the calming atmosphere of the waiting area and the locally-sourced handmade candles add a special, homey touch. My massage therapist was very attentive to my needs and professional about protecting my privacy. I have already booked another massage with her and will even bring my husband along! Ive been going to the Brighton LaVida Massage for years, and they dont disappoint. Great pricing for loyalty members, and the therapists are great at figuring out exactly what I need. I have a desk job that wreaks havoc on my neck / shoulders and they fix me right up!

I enjoy the ease of using the app to book appointments. I’ve had many massages by different therapists and everyone has been good and has their own techniques. I do have my favorites that I try to book regularly. The massage therapists make you feel very comfortable before the massage even starts. I always look forward to my monthly massage appointment, it gives me 60 to 90 minutes of complete relaxation. I am able to alleviate some stress and refocus.

I had a 90 minute massage with Ashley on Wednesday and let me just tell you, shes awesome! She focused on the areas I specifically requested for her to work on, and she does an awesome scalp massage. As someone who suffers from migraines, a good scalp massage is necessary! I will most definitely be back :)

Massage was good, nothing amazing but also dont have much to compare to. Wasnt as aggressive as id like. I got a spine like a hockey stick so I need it rough like ya sister gives it to me but thats alright, really cant complain either so 5 stars, 4 might be more accurate but why be that guy ys know.

They’re always on time, always welcoming, and they know me by name. I love the therapist I see regularly; she does just what I like and never makes me leave needing to take Motrin. I like relaxing massages, not torturous ones. I like a therapist that LISTENS to what I want, and actually does it. I found that here!

I wasnt to happy with the person I spoke to while trying to set up my appointment this way my first time ever getting a message and she was very rude when I told her I have a gift certificate she asked me where I got it and then said well thats weird we dont have any out so well see. So with that being my first time setting up an appointment I dont think I will come there for another or tell any friends or family to go based on how I was treated! yes the massage was great but your service in the front was not good at all.

The Brighton LaVida is an excellent place to go. I like that they have therapists that have worked there for awhile so you can continue to see them instead of new people all the time. They are very welcoming and friendly!

La Vida provides a beautiful, relaxing and professional experience. Melissa is wonderful and listens to my concerns. Every massage therapist Ive seen at La Vida has been so helpful and concerned with my needs. Lovely place.

Nice place over all. Lil pricey but Ive never had a masseuse that wasnt friendly and willing to adjust to my needs and Ive gone at least 10 times in a years span. Stop in and give them a try. Dont think youll be disappointed. Enjoy!

Each time I walk into Lavida massage, the staff are friendly and respectful.The lobby smells wonderful therefore,I feel relaxed.The person that I see at Lavida, is a medical massage therapist . His name is Dan.He interviews me when we walk into the room. He listens to my complaints with empathy and compassion.His technique is amazing. I feel so much better when I get home.Thank you for hiring Dan !

I talked to LaVida Brighton during Covid and was told I had 2 massages left on my account when I canceled my membership due to Covid and unable to get massages. When I went to schedule them, I was told they expired and yet I was never told they would expire. Shame on you LaVida Brighton. You have 90 days after you cancel your membership to use the massages and yet they were closed for 90 days...

If I could give more stars I would. I ABSOLUTELY love everything about LaVida. From the second I walk in the door, to the second I leave, ( not that I ever want to leave!) Ive been going to LaVida for 8 years, this location 3 of those. I have a lot of bone/muscle issues, and Vicki fixes me, and makes all my aches and pains go away. Go ahead you deserve it, go check them out!!!!!

The first few massages, I was not really impressed. But then... I had a massage by Ted, and it was probably one of the best massages ever. I went in with lower back pain, and he helped it out immensely. Will certainly continue going to LaVida, as long as I can get scheduled with Ted.

I guess I wasnt the only one who had issues with the people at the front desk. I went in inquiring about a prenatal massage and wanted to set up an appointment. Ive never had a massage before and was walking by this place and just went in. There was a man standing at the desk talking to the TWO receptionists and they totally ignored my presence but finally and annoyed acknowledged me. Mind you all three of these people just stared at my like I was and idiot. I guess it was to complicated for this girl to schedule a prenatal appointment. Needless to say I never called back another day as she suggested. Maybe they need some customer service training.

I have had several massages by Rena. I highly recommend her. I have sciatica problems and she really help me. I was wondering about facials there? Has anyone had one recently? Can you tell me more about them. I can’t find anything on the website to describe them and the receptionist had no idea about them either.

Very welcoming staff. The knowledge that Joy has to break down the appointment and what is the best skin regimen that will be used for you is phenomenal.

Tara gave me a terrific massage! She made sure she knew what pressure I wanted at the beginning. I appreciated that she did not feel the need to chat but she did ask how I was doing occasionally to make sure I was good.

I am a an active duty service member and also training for my first bikini/fitness model competition, so I train hard and push my body to its max! In order to avoid injury and to help maximize results, I’ve begun incorporating regular massages into my fitness and wellness regimen! Nicole focuses on areas that need extra attention and helps me work through tender spots/injury prone areas to help keep me healthy!!!

I went in and purchased a gift card for my wife the other day. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean inside and has that warm, at home feeling to it. I will visit again soon.

Treat yourself to an hour of pure relaxation with Donna. I book at least a month out and treat myself. Atmosphere is always wonderful and everyone is so nice and accommodating. Best massage in Brighton.

I created a profile on line so I could book an appointment, but could not book an appointment without entering my credit card. I will try calling but found that odd. I will still give them a try.

I loved the vibe and the professionalism of this place. I was comfortable and Paula was amazing especially for pressure points and if you like extra pressure. I will be returning.

Poor Management! Bought a package in advanced and I cant even use it because they are constantly booked, Would never Recommend this place to anyone.They should be Embarrassed for running a Business like this. And then when you do get a open slot they always cancel at last minute or claim that you never booked a time slot.

This was my first massage that wasn’t a couples massage so I was a little nervous about what to expect but everyone I spoke to was kind, and easy to talk too. Had a great experience & will go again for sure!

Love Dan! Hes the best. Wish you guys would upgrade the music. Its gotten to be more like doctor office music vs. spa. You used to play a variety which included Indian flute,drumming etc.

Some of the therapists here are really great, in particular Donna and Fury but its really hard to get in lately. They are usually booked weeks in advance.

The one hour massage lasted about 45 minutes. The therapist did not touch quads or hamstrings. Not that it would have mattered because there was nothing nearing deep tissue.

What a great place!! No wonder it takes time to get an appointment! Always busy, super friendly & technically skilled!! Love LaVida! 😁

This was my first visit to LaVida in Brighton and it was absolutely wonderful! From the greeting in the front lounge to the message therapy .....everything was phenomenal.

Do not join membership. You can never get an appointment with your favotite therapist. They work minimal hours .
