Its clean, they are nice. HoweverMy husband and I came here for a couples massage. When we got there they didnt remember that we booked a room for that. And asked that I show my gift card purchase receipt in an email. So I did. We got our massage. Scale of 1 to 10. 10 being the best. Mine massage rated was 7. Husband rated his a 5. We werent blown away. Then when we got out. I was asked to pay a room fee that was not specified of $20 and of course I tipped. Just not very good communication to customers. They need to fix loose ends with how they charge and remember in their computer system what people paid for! Meh...wont be back.

I got a massage from Rich and it was the best!!! I’ve never had a disappointing hand and stone massage by any means, but Rich was by far the best massage I’ve had at hand and stone. I had so many knots in my traps and neck and he took such great care of me. I will definitely request him in the future! Thank you Rich!!

Rich was amazing! I booked at the last minute and requested any masseuse Thankfully I was blessed with Rich. I had an usually stressful day and worried nothing would release my shoulder and neck muscle strain. By the end of the hour, I physically felt loose and relaxed, much more than I expected. I was looking for a new consistent massage place after my long time lady moved after COVID. Morgan has been an absolute God send. She listens to exactly what I need and is so good at her job. In addition, whenever I need to reschedule due to my hectic schedule, they are always accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I never ever leave bad reviews but after spending $300 for a couples massage and being so disappointed I can not help myself. My husband and I went to the Brighton location to celebrate our anniversary. This would be our 4th couples massage. The first 3 couples massages we had were mind blowing. This was awful from beginning to end. The massage therapist gave the most unenthusiastic massage I’ve ever had. I should have saved my $300 and had my husband give me a real massage. It was like she wasn’t even trying. I wouldn’t call it a massage. More like sloppy lathering in oil which is now all over the seats of my new car. There was not one point where I thought wow this feels good. She pulled the headrest out from under my head with no warning and my neck snapped back. I can already tell that I’m going to be in pain. She held my head up doing nothing but holding it in an uncomfortable position for what felt like 5 minutes. I kept waiting for a twist or turn or rub or something, but it never happened. Just sitting there straining my neck. At one point I think she dropped her cell phone, which would make sense bc the minimal amount of effort that was put into my massage had me thinking she might have been scrolling on her phone the whole time. I wouldn’t even write this review if it hadn’t been so expensive. And at the end they pressure you into buying a membership to save money. Thanks but no thanks. Super pushy about it too. After someone says no, don’t keep hounding them. Worst $300 I’ve ever spent in my life. Well it was actually $160 but they also pressure you into a tip. When I said $30 the receptionist said each? No. Not each. I shouldn’t have even tipped. I feel so ripped off and disappointed. That was a joke. Rant over

Went to Hand and Stone, Brighton location couple days ago. When I called to make a appointment, I spoke to the owner, she just happened to be the one who answered the phone, she identified that she was, and I said, I saw on Facebook a special for first time clients. I told her thatim looking for deep tissue and she recommended I make my appointment with Morgan. Morgan did aGreat job. The negative on this place is there is no ambiance. So bright like your at a doctors office. Nothing welcoming or soothing in here. Very pushy about buying a Package, well if I signed up now the girl would take the regular 99.00 off the fee. Like Im buying a used car. Buy today and Ill knock off this amount.. that alone turned me off. A regular massage is $129.00 dollars. It doesnt take 15 mins to undress, so your not getting a full hour. 45 mins. So $129.00 plus a tip. Now if you want deep tissue, hmmm were gonna add x amount to your $129.00, I cant remember I think another 15 dollars. Ive had hundreds of massages over the past 25 years for health reasons. I have Lupus. Just my opinion but I would not recommend. When I talked to the owner to make my appointment I said I have neuropathy in my feet. She assured me that the foot massage is included. When I checked in I was told it was xtra. I know what my conversation was on the phone, the girl at the desk told me I must have misunderstood. 👎

Got my son a gift card for a massage he said it was the worst he ever had! All the girl did was put lotion on. No Deep tissue massage, he couldnt wait for it to be over. He said my cat does a better job kneeding his back! Membership $140 and $70 a month - DONT THINK SO!New owners - same place - nothing different looking about it just DOUBLE THE PRICE!

I’ve been coming to this location for years. It was previously a massage green. I’ve seen many different therapist and tonight I had Jennifer and she is hands down the best therapist ive had here or any location. I suffer from chronic pain and Jennifer was so nice and caring and helped relief a lot of tension. I had the best experience thanks to Jennifer. My husband started going to her as well. 10/10. Prices with packages are reasonable.

I had an appointment for a massage that I made 2 weeks in advance. Massage green called me at 9am on the day of my massage stating the massage therapist was ill and another massage therapist was available. I agreed to keep the appointment. Later in the afternoon my eye started to hurt. I showed up at the scheduled time and stated I think I have pink eye but was willing to stay. The receptionist checked with the therapist who decided to cancel my massage. Massage green proceeded to charge me for the massage I had not received. I wanted to send a direct message, but couldn’t find an email. I went to the Brighton location for the first time. I cramped my neck and woke up hurting. I was happy they were able to get me in at 1p. Very nice up front!!!! My massage wasn’t very good. The bed was hard, the sheets seemed cheap. The blanket was so thin and I was tense and cold. No heat. She did put a hot towel on my back but it was freezing cold almost immediately. Then it was a wet damp blanket. The head piece appeared to have no sheet on it like I put putting my face on something dirty. It grossed me out. Then while getting the massage the head piece snapped and further hurt my neck. The thing that bothered me the most though was that I paid For an hour and was only massaged for 45 mins. The massage started at the earliest 1:10p and my Masseuse ended at 1:55p! Then they ask for a tip and i always feel bad. So $85 for a :45 minute cold massage. :(

I have been receiving services here nearly every month for almost 2 years and have been extremely happy with my experience. I am a regular of both Liz and Cyndall and both have such a gift. They are personable and provide wonderful massages. It feels great to have finally found practictioners that meet my needs. The front desk staff are always courteous and helpful. I look forward to my appointments every month and will continue coming back!

Had been recently gifted a Groupon for Massage Green and called to use it, had an appointment scheduled. Hand and Stone canceled the day before on me. Called multiple times during business hours to reschedule and no answer, no call back. Finally got ahold of someone and they informed me that they wont accept Massage Green Groupons despite only recently changing ownership. Lady on the phone said she would have to put me on hold to help actual customers. Told me to attempt a refund at Groupon . Poor customer service.Update: I messaged the owner who responded to this review a week ago and have not heard back from them.

Had a massage with Whitney today and she did an amazing job! I had been suffering from a migraine for a few days from tension build up, and was able to book an appointment and get in within an hour, so convenient! I will definitely be going back to see Whitney again!

Went in for a much needed massage. I arrived 10 minutes early. The receptionist checked me in and I sat down. She then went to the back and was either arguing with a coworker or someone on the phone, either way not something you want to hear when trying to relax. About 15 minutes after my massage was supposed to start, the receptionist went to go look for the massage therapist because I was still sitting there. After a few minutes she told me that the massage therapist was sleeping and she would come get me in a second. The entire massage it just seemed like the massage therapist was 1/2 asleep and not putting in any effort. My massage also was cut short due to her starting late, so 15-20 minute me short. Overall seemed unprofessional.

I have been going here since I moved to Brighton. On my first visit I was not impressed but on my second and subsequent visits I have seen Cyndal and she is the best! Love her insight and she is always willing to hear you on what needs work. She is gentle when needed and always asks if she is using too much pressure. I will always ask for her and so should you! Thanks Cyndal for all you do!

Worst place ever! Massage green in Brighton keeps your debit card info in their computer and they use it at their own leisure. I haven’t been there in a couple years and they keep on taking money out of my account because a family member went up there and the gift card wasn’t working so it took them a week and a half to refund my money. They credited my account twice. I thought that was their way of saying they were sorry a month later they take $70 out of my account.What a joke what kind of business is this?

Please don’t waste your money at this facility. Recently, I bought a gift card for someone, when they went in there to get a massage The gift card was not active so they decided to go in somebody else’s account who is related to me and charge their debit card that they had on file with no authorization! I would give them zero stars, if that was available!

Theives. I bought two mothers day packages. Somehow, one of my first package disappeared, I called twice to speak with a manager, never received a call back. 2nd set of three I watched like a hawk. I scheduled my last one I December, even confirmed at the time that I was using my last one. THEY canceled me day of. When I rescheduled it my last massage in the package was just gone. Lady at the desk was useless. I will never go back. I have found a far better deep tissue massage at LaVida.

I was given a gift card pre pandemic and finally decided to use it. To say this was the worst, least relaxing massage that I have ever had is an understatement. The therapist didn’t even massage me, it was a mixture of pinching, stretching, and basically 90 minutes of torture. She basically pushed on my back, stretched my legs in very uncomfortable positions, and pinched the hell out of my neck. I was more stressed and sore when I left there. I booked a 90 minute intro massage and couldn’t wait for it to be over. I also added on a sugar scrub and that obviously didn’t happen. She never even touched my thighs or arms. Needless to say I won’t be going back there.

Samantha is amazing! Went there last night and had such a great experience. The place was really nice and very clean. I got a full body massage and it was the best massage I had ever had. Samantha was not only friendly but it was very obvious she knew what she was doing. I didn’t even tell her all of the places I was sore, and as she was doing the massage as soon as she hit those spots she would know and pay extra attention to those areas. I will be back soon, and make sure to ask for Samantha!!

Very disappointed in my recent massage. The person was extremely lazy and when asked to increase pressure she did nothing. I specially asked that she focus on my lower back and she spent a total of 10 minutes out of a 90 minute massage. Left feeling just as bad as when I went in. Waste of time and money.

Horrible experience. The massages are good, when you can actually get one. I joined the monthly club where they charge a flat amount every month and I would receive one free massage per month and if I didnt use it, they would roll over and accumulate. I tried several times to make an appointment unsuccessfully. In Massage Greens defense most of the time it was a same day or next day request, so I understand some of the problem is on my end. However, today I called early in the morning and spoke to a lady who told me I could have my requested time of 4:00 p.m.. She asked who I would like and I said I did not care as long as it was a female. She said she had two ladies available and gave me to the one who only had one other appointment that day to make it fair. So, imagine my surprise when I arrive at 3:30 only to be told I was scheduled for 3 and that they could not get me in till several hours later or a different day. I asked to cancel the membership and the lady did not even try to talk me out of it, which pretty much told me everything I needed to know about how they value their customers. I even called the corporate office in California and did;t even get an apology, but was just told she would let the director of operations know.

I tried to reschedule my 5 pm appt at 9:30 am the morning of appointment. They said they needed 24 hours to reschedule. This was a gift to me from my son and it really upset me that they were not more accommodating as life happens. I cancelled but then called back, after having rearranged my schedule. Looking back on the other low rating reviews, I see that Massage Green, as a whole company, needs to be more people friendly/accommodating.After all, they have your credit card number!

Scott is a miracle worker!! I hesitated putting his name in this review as he’s already in high demand, but I didn’t want to be selfish.This is the first massage therapist I’ve ever made a point to schedule with multiple times after my first experience. He’s polite, professional, and I always leave feeling a million times better than when I arrived.

I had some major back pain.Called the receptionist was very informative. She told me they have what is called a targeted massage at a reduced rate. They focus on the area where the discomfort is. Thats what I needed. After one massage I felt significantly better and returned to my daily activities! I highly recommend Massage Green Spa

My hubby and I are long time Massage Green members. It really is the way to go if you visit frequently. You will save $ in the long run. We have had favorite therapists for sure over the years. Sara was the best but has since moved on.We have found that Ashley and Morgan are our go to therapists now. They are both consistent and do a great job communicating throughout the massage with what we need most.We always feel refreshed, relaxed and ready to take on the day after a visit. Thanks ladies!

I agree with others that the skill and quality of the massage therapists are hit or miss here but today I had Ryan and he was amazing. He clearly is an experienced massage therapist that knows what he’s doing and does it well. I will be back to see him.

I got a “massage” here and was deeply disappointed. Not once did the “masseuse” rub a knot. She just rubbed lotion on me for an hour. I went with a friend who got a massage at the same time from a different masseuse and she had both of her feet rubbed for 10 minutes, while my therapist never even touched a foot. I emailed the company about this rip off of a “massage” and never heard back. Waste of time and money. Go elsewhere.

Very nice atmosphere. Clean and modern. Great experiences both times weve been there. Full disclaimer that I am no massage expert, but have really enjoyed the two massages Ive had there with my wife. (We did couples massages both times). Both therapists were very attentive and have great service, even bringing us cold water afterwards. We had swedish massages which at different times they used hot towels as part of it. They offer a ton of different services, check out their website for a full list. Pricing is based on if youre a first time customer, or a member. (Not sure how much memberships are). Overall great experiences both times!

I had an appointment set up for a couples/prenatal massage for my wife on Sunday at 12noon. I was called the day before around 11:30am confirming my appointment. I was advised that if anything changed and I couldn’t make it, I would be charged a cancellation fee. Now Sunday comes and it’s 10:25am(an hour and 35 mins before the appointment) and I get another call stating that someone called in and they had to cancel my appointment. I had this set up for my wife as a surprise and been planning it around work, kids and a pregnancy for a while. They didn’t offer to change the time or seek an alternative option for us. It was more so, “sorry, better luck next time.” They did emphasize that I wouldn’t be charged for the massages. However, if I were to call and cancel 1 hour and 35 mins before the appointment, I would have been charged. This was an all around terrible experience. I DONT/WONT recommend this place.

I do not usually post reviews anywhere I go, but I wanted to make a point to do so this time. I had a great experience. Shane was very professional and made sure I was comfortable, draped properly and made sure the pressure was adjusted to what I like.

My boyfriend and I went here for our first couples massage. We bought a groupon. They were very nice and Beau(sp?) did my massage. She worked out on certain pressure points and made for an overall very relaxing experience for both of us. I took a leap and was very pleasantly surprised it was great in contrast to some of the other negative reviews. I would definitely return.

I bought a package massage and the day of my massage they cancelled on me and said the person wasn’t available for another ten days or longer. Then when I called back to get my money returned they will not answer their phones nor will they call me back. I do not recommend this place each massage therapist is different in the way they work and they do not show care when actually working through a medical condition with a specific person.

Besides the massage being okay at best. I find their customer service to be horrible. I tried to make an appointment with them because I had a gift card but the phone kept cutting out. I called them 3 times and couldnt finish the call. I decided to call back the next day hoping to get a better connection. The woman on the phone booked my appointment anyway even though there was no possible way to confirm anything because of the connection. I missed the 9am appointment she scheduled for me. I would have never scheduled at that time because I would have been at work. I can only assume she misheard the day I originally wanted because of the bad connection. They called me to see if I was still coming and when I explained what happened, they didnt seem to care that at all. She demanded my gift card number to pay for the entire missed appointment or my credit card to pay for it. I refused because I wasnt even able to hear and they scheduled me on a day I would have never picked to schedule an appointment. So it was just her writing me down when without me even knowing what day. On top of it I called 20min to closing time originally so by the time I was able to call back they were already closed. So I was waiting until morning. I do feel bad for missing the appointment because I know someone missed out on the commission for that time. I had planned to give them an extra tip because it wasnt their fault either but the person on the phone. I really dont feel it was fair for them to expect me to show up for an appointment that they couldnt even take my full info on. They didnt even have my name, just my phone number. I mean it was VERY bad connection. And I had to call back 3 times, and then they were closed. Then she gave me such a horrible attitude about the fact that I missed the appointment and tried to laid a lot of guilt on me for making the person sit around for no money. Why is the company not paying them to be there? As far as I know all commission employees must at least a make minimum wage per hour legally. I then just said I wanted a refund because I didnt appreciate how they were treating me especially as a brand new client. I could see them having to do something like that to a client who is chronic with the no call no show appointments but this was clearly a misunderstanding. I called their corporate number and no one ever called me back. Fortunately another location was able to get me in with my gift card. They were nice but seemed inexperienced compared to other massage therapists Ive seen. The whole experience was far from relaxing.

Christina SHAREF is the best massage I’ve been too. She gets my plantar fasciitis to break away so I can feel my toes. I have lots of back and feet issues and have felt a complete transition.Also you can see her Twin sister Elizabeth SHAREF whom is also excellent with deep tissue massage!!

I have had joint and muscle pains for years and have gone to massage therapy on a few occasions, but never found much relief. On a whim today I decided to come here for a massage and it was by far the best decision Ive made in a long time. I was shocked by how spot on my therapist Adam was with where my muscles needed the most relief. The difference in my back pain in particular was astounding and I will be returning in the near future. I couldnt say nicer things about the environment and Adam!

I called on Monday night to see if a family members account was still in good standings and if visits were still available. I was told absolutely! There are plenty. I made the appointment and went in for my appointment last night. Not once during the call and not once when I arrived was i informed that they actual account holders acct had been placed on hold for nonpayment. I would have gone to a place closer to my work had I known. Upon checking out - i was asked if i wanted to leave a tip. I only had my credit card so I said yes. Put it on my card. It was for $10.00. Today I look at my account and find that they charged my account almost $70.00. She (front desk person) still did not mention to me that there was any money owed. I would not have known until I checked my acct today. So today; I had to turn the transaction into my bank as fraud; I just worked a 14 days shift so I did not think to review my receipt as I was extremely tired. No one bothered mentioning any of this to me. I called today to try to resolve this matter and was told that the NOVI store did it so I should contact them. I did so. They then said other than making the notes on the acct that they had nothing to do with the lack of professionalism or lack of information by the Brighton store. So now I am looking at spending hours of my time fighting to get my money returned to me as should be. MAYBE if they would have not lied to me on the phone and said the acct was good - MAYBE I would have still made the appt. Never again!!! I will indeed have my money returned to me. It is not the consumers fault that the people at the front desk have little to no training (as one of them explained to me as they told me the turn over rate is so high because of this). I am beyond upset. No manager was in today - tomorrow......... I am told she will be in; tomorrow she and I will be having a long face to face discussion. So disappointed.

When we arrived for our couples massage we were told a massage therapist called in. No shocker there due to the multiple times this happens at this place. They never called me to let me know, apparently they wrote down the wrong phone number. You would think they would hire people that actually show up to work and fix this issue since it’s happened to multiple people.

WORST SPA EVER! Tried to book a couples massage on 2 separate occasions, BOTH times the spa called me to cancel my massage only a few short hours before I was scheduled to come in. I booked these appointments well in advance and they call me last minute to cancel on me so I have no time to schedule somewhere else? Rude, unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend booking a massage here unless you want to be disappointed last minute

I’ve tried calling this place several times to book a massage and they never answer. I’ve left messages and they’ve called back once when I was at work and unable to answer. They didn’t leave a message and still I tried to call again since they have a Groupon special going on right now until February. I decided to get a full refund from Groupon and go to another salon that will answer my calls. Best of luck.

Was happy with my massage but despite them claiming that they dont sell your info, within hours after giving them my phone number I started getting scam texts. Dont give them real information because they are not to be trusted

I have been in and out of the ER since January for intestinal and lower back issues...ive used this spa a few times and in March in a pain pill haze I booked a message to use my Groupon and gift certificate for the following week. However on the website your gift certs and Groupon will not hold an appt only a credit or debit card can be used.. I forgot I had even booked...I was balancing my checkbook and saw $120 was taken from my bank account by them so I called in a panic...the young lady who answered explained id missed an appt...I told her what had happened and I understand a fee is in order but that they took the entire $120...can I reschedule to use my Groupon or certificate and get some of the money taken from me back? She said she had to check with the owner. This was almost 2 weeks ago...and today was my third attempt at calling back to get answers - THEY REFUSED ANY OF MY MONEY BACK AND WILL NOT TAKE MY GIFTCARD IN ITS PLACE! Im literally disgusted at their lack of empathy and customer service. SHAME ON YOU FOR TAKING MY MONEY REGARDLESS OF REASON! I WORK AND LIVE LOCALLY SO I WILL MAKE IT A POINT TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT HOW YOU OPERATE IN THIS COMMUNITY! THIS IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS ! DO NOT GO HERE!

We got a food deal for the couples massage and sauna. We were able to get an appointment the day that I called. Professional massage therapists. The sauna was very relaxing as well!

Awful place and awful service. Showed up 15 minutes early for our appointment to sit for a half hour to get told they were cancelling our appointment because the therapist quit. The girl at the front desk said she would call to reach us for free and never called, friend called and they claimed they forgot. You couldnt pay me to go back.

Its always a hit or miss weather you are going to get a decent therapist. The turnover is horrible. Often times there will be a child running around/jumping on the couches. I dont reccomend this place for anyone.

Always professional with great customer service. Scott, Adam, and many others are skilled and polite. I have never had a bad experience there.

Place is very unprofessional and they raise there membership fees with out notifying the member. The front desk is always changing and staff seem to not be knowledgeable and untrained. The owner is rude and makes several mistakes.
