I have had some amazing massages at this place but it’s quite hit or miss. This massage place is owned by the same people as Prospects Eastern BK Spa. They need to hire someone to work at the front desk because I (and the person before me) had the massage interrupted many times to greet new customers. The masseuse seemed stressed and talked with other masseuses the first half of my massage, took phone calls with the other location during it, and was barely paying attention to my massage. It was still a good massage and I know the people there are working very hard, they just need to hire more people so they’re not overworked!

Customer service is what the downfall here I was a local that came here very often! The massages were great and for an affordable however overtime they stopped servicing locals! You can no longer walk in this establishment as a customer and even booking is a HARD AND HORRIBLE time with no solid promises. Newcomers in Brooklyn now have taken up slots to the point where this place booked until 8pm. Will not be using this business anymore because it’s not geared toward the working class locals. I hope that they fix what once was an amazing establishment.

Horrible, horrible horrible. I left there almost in tears. This was my 3rd time coming to this establishment. The first time I came alone it was ok , I paid 55 dollars and the the other 2 times I came with my 12 year old son and we both got serviced. I paid110 for both my son and myself, however my last experience was the worst!!!!!!! The last 2 times before this visit I tipped the masseuses who massaged my son and myself very well. However this time around, right after I paid they said to me “ no tip” I said “ excuse me” I just paid 110 dollars for me and son to have a massage 55 dollars a piece. If I choose not to tip that’s my choice. And because of your arrogance and audacity to ask me if I’m not going to tip I’M DEFINITELY NOT GOING TO AND I WILL NOT BE BACK. I asked for a receipt and the masseuse refused to give me one which she stated because: I used cash. So I requested to speak with the manager who wasn’t around but then they called him and he came I explained exactly what happened and he was very arrogant and said “well if you don’t like it then don’t come back” I said ok but just know I’ll be writing a heck of a review about my son’s and myself’s experience here this evening. Right after I said that he wrote the receipt and was very apologetic about his staff demanding a tip from me and making me uncomfortable. VERY BAD! I went there to spend mommy and son time because of grief that we are both going through not for arguments and confrontations. HORRIBLE! If I could choose no stars I would!

I book this place online for my hubby birthday when I got there was skeptical at first wasnt shore I were at the right place. it was just us there. by the time we were ready to begin our session more people were coming in felt more at easy. the staff was very pleasant believe me the massage was amazing felt so relax it was the best I had strongly recommend for couples looking for that intimate private relaxation. thanks again guys.

First time was good enough to come back today. Well, this time it was terrible. Called ahead to set an appointment for a couples massage arrived, had to wait 15 mins just to be told they had single rooms ready. Terrible service, given a $55 gift certificate which wouldn’t even cover anything. Walked out more tense and stressed than I arrived. Won’t be back.

If you want a place that has fruit infused water, monogrammed towels, and white noise machines in the room with you- THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. This place is bare bones, but clean. They take temperature upon arrival and take down information for contact tracing. The owner was very kind and accommodating and the woman who gave me my service was kind and very communicative.The set up is very open, the separation between you and other clients is curtains. If you prefer a quieter place this is not for you. But if you just want a good massage for a great price, this is for YOU!I will be coming back.

I have chronic back pain and so I had massage in this spot several times, and almost every other month and love it! My recent visit was today-couple massage therapy with my husband and both of us loved it. Shasha gave great massage. The price is great and the staff provides excellent deep tissue massage. They cater to specific type of massage and very nice people too. Performs temperature check and overall clean. Highly recommended!

This is by far my favorite spa to get a massage! I have been coming to Prospect Garden Spa for years now, and actually haven’t gone to another place since. Both the Vanderbilt and Flatbush location are spot on but I’ve been coming to the (more recently opened) Flatbush location since it’s opening and can vouch for both! The person who picks up is always pretty helpful to me and helps me lock in an appointment. Frank is the masseuse I have been going to since I first started here and WHEW! If you want your aches and pains massaged out of your body, he is your guy! Frank is truly gifted and is well-versed in massage, acupressure, etc. I have had knee issues for years which triggers quite a bit of back, leg and foot pain but Frank always helps me to recalibrate and heal those pains. I was so moved by the relief I felt during my last massage a day ago that I had to leave a review!I, hands down, highly recommend Prospect Garden Spa! You truly won’t regret it!

We did NOT expect to walk into this place and get the massage we got. Top 3 best massages I’ve ever gotten, hands down!! The hot stones, the elbows - everything was perfect. Will definitely incorporate this place into our bi-weekly self care routine!

I have been going to this place since they carried the name of Summer Day Spa. Back then, the place was clean, the management was nice and the massage service was excellent. Since the reopening during COVID, they change the name and the service team. When I went on my first visit since COVID, they claimed they change mgmt and the team accordingly but unfortunately this change did not not improve their service. I arrived for my Saturday scheduled appt and was not greeted on arrival so I said hello, my name and my appt time at the desk. I was asked to have a seat and use the restroom which I declined. 10 mins later and they are still not ready. Eventually I am ushered to a room and I can tell it’s not clean. There are 2 towels hanging on hooks that look used. The sheet used to cover me during the massage was not clean either. They use to have a container under the bed to store your handbag and shoes which was no longer there. I said my prayers as I laid half naked on the table waiting for the massage. During the massage she placed the same dirty towel on my head which I removed once I realized how gross it really was. She also was using this same towel over my eyes for the upper body massage. I was waiting for her to ask if I wanted the massage harder/softer, but that never happened. Instead, she and another employee were talking in their native language for like 20 mins during the massage. Not only is this rude but very annoying. I came here to relax, why are they talking so loudly during the session? There is also an annoying running water sound outside the room that I believe suppose to be a fountain but sounds like a running toilet 😭. The other annoying sound is the loud chimes and slamming of the entry door. They also kept having the entry/door curtain open during my massage which meant anyone walking by in the hallway can see me on the table. I had to ask her twice to please close the curtain during my session.My massage finally ended and I was so stressed by the experience that I was relieved to leave. I tipped her $10 and she was complaining to the desk person about it but I absolutely won’t be going back there ever again. I have numerous experiences with massages and I get that businesses are trying to stretch their bucks but cleanliness and excellent service in a spa is priority. If you’re reusing towels and sheets that a business violation especially during this time of COVID. Also, don’t assume it’s ok to speak in a native language because the person does not look like you. NY is a very diverse city and people come from many cultural backgrounds. So all I want to say is 再也不 Zài yě bù!

I havent got a massage here for a long time. I came here yesterday. Do an hour of deep tissue massage. It’s just too incredible. The massage is very good. The massage environment has also changed. Everything is new. I dont know if I changed the owner. But this is definitely a recommended new massage venue I will come back!

This is the third time in a month. I did an hour of deep tissue massage today. Todays masseurs are the best. From head to toe her hands are everywhere. In soothing music. This is the end of an hour. Really got a complete relaxation. I really can’t leave. I need more time to relax. Unfortunately, I have to go to work. She saw her little figure after payment. With a smile. Actually, there is such a huge energy. Love this clean and quiet place. I will come back to Youna.

Clean and quiet. Location convenient for Brooklyn tenants. Little too dark through out the entire place. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Massage was good if you dont need a fancy upper east side or soho treatment and ambiance. It served its purpose. Facial was the worst ever. My face didnt feel any different. They werent even sure about what products they used and didnt remove anything from my clogged pores. I have felt better using my own MAC exfoliator, hot wash cloth and proactive mask.

I have been visiting the spa.many years.lily and frank very friendly.they do great deep tissue massage. If you looking to pamper yourself this is place to go in prospect heights!

I called to book an appointment, and waited a long time to even get an answer, once I did get an answer, I stated that I wanted to book an appt, and the woman on the other line said something in another language, I repeated my request, and she hung up the phone on me, if this is how u treat a repeat customer, you shouldnt even be in business. Im very disappointed and really needed a massage as I am having back pain from work.

I loved coming to this location when it was called Summer Day Spa. They recently changed owners and are now operating under this new name. And they refuse to honor the gift certificate that I got for a friend. Well, they just lost my business. I will go elsewhere going forward

Atmosphere leaves to be desired. But affordable quality massage service, they know what they are doing.

Would definitely recommend this place, came across this spot as I was walking around the neighborhood and it’s amazing. I’ve had scoliosis & since giving birth in August I’ve had major back pain this is my go-to.The quality & prices are top tier.

Finally Chinatown prices for massage close to my neighborhood! Better quality too. The Swedish massage was just what I needed after a day full of moving around.

Good massage for a good price. My neck pain was intense going in and a little while after it felt noticeably better.

Great massage the masseuse was very knowledgeable I with a lot pain shoulder and upper stiff arm she used hot stones and copping, definitely fell better will come again

I would recommend this place. They are affordable and very professional. I didnt know I was in so much pain but after my session, I felt like I could float.I loved it.
