Horrible experience. Went for a manicure and had to stop and leave. The woman doing my nails could not sand down the dip powder without sanding my skin. I asked her repeatedly to be careful and told her she was hurting me. She continued getting my skin and I was bleeding and my cuticle beds were inflamed and hurt. The owner, who was very nice and professional, took over and finished removing the dip powder. For some reason there was also a lot of confusion around the color. I kept telling them what I wanted and picked the colors and they kept trying to give me a different color that was not gel. After the owner took the dip powder off, I left because it was an unnecessarily stressful situation. The owner was not aggressive at all and did not try to push me to stay and get a manicure. My daughters were with me at the time getting there nails done and their nails got messed up as well so was just not a good experience. Would not go back.

Great place to get my nails done. When I show them a photo or describe a design they do a great job. My UV French Gel manicure last a few weeks! I am always comfortable and happy during the session. Would highly recommend Vicky.

Helpful staff that made going to a salon for a pedicure easy for a man. I didn’t do the nail polish, but I just wanted the massage and cleaning. It was enjoyable, and gentle. Thank you kind staff. Very clean.

Terrible! Did gel pedicure with Lisa. She didnt file, left cuticles, didnt do any massage. Basically just cut my toenails and put gel polish on. Never going back. Its a rip off! Worst pedicure ever!

Had a very bad experience at this salon. Was scheduled for 10:30 apt, they called me to come at 10. Then no one was available to do my nails. Waited one hour for some one to finish. Staff was so rude and disrespectful!

Terrible, horrible service. Lady that had done the nails name is Michelle couldn’t make acrylic even, not clean cuticles, rude, disrespectful, repeating, aggressive, mimicking what me and my friends have said with disrespectful tone. Completely disregarded everything that was asked to do. Cut skin made it bleed. Left no tip, and I had walked out they chased us out asking…begging for a tip. Business is only for money not making customers pleased. Manager didn’t do her job we asked for discount they said no and didn’t even offer to reshape. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Love this spot and their new location in the neighborhood morning star. This business is clean, elegant and has wonderful customer service. Lisa is the girl I go to and shes so wonderful. So bubbly, hospitable and always has my nails looking fresh and i dont make it easy Im a nail biter, haha. Im a 27yo guy and this is the perfect spot for a guy to feel comfortable and get his nails taken care of. Highly recommend.

This is the worst nail salon in Brooklyn. They try and take advantage of young children and demand tips. They don’t listen to anything the customer asks for they just do as they please. My daughter tried to pay with card they told her no she has to withdraw the money to leave a tip. Because of that she was short $12 and they wouldn’t let her meet me a few feet away to get the rest of the money without leaving them her cellphone!! I’m telling you right now, they are lucky I didn’t lose my mind in there. They did a horrible job too.

So pretty! There are so many designs. You need to see her Instagram for all of them. Perfect coffin shape and the nails turned out exactly how I wanted them. Even treated my sister to a manicure.

This used to be my go-to place when I first moved to Brooklyn (2020-2021). I loved it but over time the service got worse & worse. The technicians became rude and disrespectful. They turned aggressive when buffing my nails to the painful point & even created cuts in my cuticles multiple times and acted like it was my fault. They often make frustrating “noise effects”. They make their clients uncomfortable. No wonder why their reviews got worse over time…

They are very nice. They do a great job on my nails, and they are very helpful picking out a color for me. They have patience and when I leave they all say goodbye. 👍🏻😍🤗👏👏👏

It used to be my go to place, but after many second chances I am ready to move on. I don’t think they do a good job anymore. I had my acrylics and SNS done there. My nails are often uneven. I ask for almond shape I get oval on every other finger. The prices don’t reflect the quality of service. Last 2 times my cuticles were not touched, so it’s $80 but do your cuticles at home? There is a constant rush in this place I got burned and cut with the power drill almost every time I get my set done. My pedicure was also disappointing. There is plenty of less busy places in Bay Ridge to use and probably less pricey. If the quality is not good I might as well go somewhere else.

I been going here for almost three years. I went to get French SNS which was pricey $56!! . The lady (Lisa) that did my nails did a horrible job. My cuticle started bleeding on three of my fingers. She kept hurting me with the machine they use and every time I would say “ouch” she would say sorry but yet continue to hurt me. Yet she excepted me to tip her for her “service”. That place makes it seem like you have to tip that person no matter what and they start getting mad because they didn’t get a tip and they start talking bad about you to the other works. They like to talk bad about the clients which is sad because many people go there for them to do their nails not for them to talk bad about the.Horrible experience!!!!!

First time customer-Spa pedicure $43Then was told the foot massage was 15 minutes and was asked if I wanted to add 5 minutes to do 10 minutes on each foot.I did not.I got a SNS powder manicure, I let Winnie know I would prefer not to use the electric file, but she insisted. I explained my nail bed are thin and I bleed.She called over the manager who I said please just buff down with a regular filer. But they both said it couldnt be done. So she began the electric filer and I was bleeding and now Im in pain all night from the pressure of it.$40Came to $83 and then was charged+ $7.50 for using a credit card. Total $90.50 and then with tip$100 total.They all talk in Mandarin & CantoneseBarely anyone knows English.I wont be back.Across the street is better and they listen to their clients.

I paid for this design 42 dollars. I think you pay to get a good job done. Since they intend to paint the nails without first cleaning them, they are supposed to at least remove the dead skin so that the nails look delicate, but not this ugly design. And another thing, if the workers are busy, say so, but dont attend to someone in a hurry and do a good job.

Went here Monday for a full set of powder and tips! Vicky rushed me while i was picking out colors. I wanted a French tip design with a nice base color and a darker nude tips. This was going to be a set for my birthday. After feeling rushed i decided to go woth traditional like pink vase with white tips. She was very aggressive during the appointment and was working way to fast to be precise. After expressing to her that one of the nails was crooked. She snapped at me and said she would fix it once she filled the powder down. I explained to her that i like a square shape and for the sides to be very thin and narrow. The nails look “okay” at best but i will have to do extra filling at home. When i was paying her she originally said they didn’t take cards then backed tracked… which i found very weird so i didn’t feel comfortable paying by card so i paid cash. I was going back into my purse to tip her maybe 2-3 dollars and i fellow associate rushed up to me asking “are you going to tip her” i found this extremely offensive. I work in the service beauty industry abs that just so unprofessional WILL NEVER BE BACN

This salon blew my mind! From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly. The staff is super attentive, taking the utmost care and paying attention to detail. Yoyo, Yuki and the owner Susan all pitched in on my nails. My nail art took a bit more time and they stayed 30 minutes passed closing without making me feel like I was holding them up. Yoyo didn’t rush the process or skip any steps due to the late hours. And all this care for the same price I’ve paid at other salons. The place is beautiful and they had more gel colors to choose from than I knew what to do with. A definite 5+ star experience!

My biggest issue with my service today was the fact that I got a UV gel fill-in an needed one new tip put on because it had popped off the day before, and I was charged $60, the price of a whole new set! A fill should only be $35 according to their website. They don’t list how much it cost for one new tip. But at most, I shouldn’t have paid more than $45 before tip. My second complaint is that I can still see the bare nail edge through my polish. I expect to have a better quality polish application than that. I was so excited to finally find a good nail salon, only to end up completely disappointed and feel like I was robbed. These people are apparently thieves and charge people for services not rendered. Very dishonest and I will not be returning to any of their locations

Nail salon is clean attentive efficient and accommodating. Have regular manicure pedicure over there. Angel City seems to have the same management as Angel gift nail salons in Bay Ridge. Angel City is a little newer and better. I do not know weather other services are excellent. I havent tried them. Nonetheless people seem to be very happy. The only downfall is that I am handicapped and like many stores and Bay Ridge there is a bump to enter and exit. The staff is very accommodating to help. Better service and comfort make Angel City my choice

One of the best Nail Spa places in Bayridge. All the girls are very knowledgeable, clean and still practice safety protocols. The work performed is always Excellent! Very professional, caring and efficient! We have been going for 10 years and the experience is top notch! Highly recommend for all ocassions. Incredible designs, wraps, extensions, great pedis, treatments, massages and more.

Horrible job and overpriced. I ended up with a set of nails that were set crooked, filed into three different nail shapes thanks to acrylics that were incorrectly set and uneven sizes used. Instead of fixing them properly as I pointed out the messy job, my request got ignored and the technician just kept filing the nails down into something completely different than what I had requested. And I was charged $53, $20 over what I normally pay at other salons for the exact same service. Never coming here again and now I will have to pay twice over to get them redone.

Everyone is nice and polite! They’re cleanliness is spotless.They are as well on top of maintaining cleanliness with customers around. Linda is amazing my sister and mom as well get taken care by her with dip powder, acrylic and pedicure she has never let us down!

I really loved the service and how my mails came out. The technician (Vicki) was really fast and did a very good job. (That cut in my middle finger I did it myself 😛)

I told myself to never come here yet I walked in as I was in a hurry. Their idea of pedicure is just cutting nails and that’s it. Nothing else, my pedicure was done in 10 min or less. They have no clue and sad to see people come here and settle for this! They also talk about customers with each other.

Horrible service, nails chipped,overpriced and rude employee.I went there on Sunday to get a manicure and a pedicure where the pedicure was so bad that it looked it was never done in the first place. For the manicure, the lady was rushing it so some of my nails were chipped, broken, and the nail polish was smudged in the process. Also, while doing them she asked to pay before she continues and she even asked for more tip which was so rude as she did an extremely bad job and when I refused she started speaking loudly in her native language with the other employees and she kept on mentioning cheap in her talk. This was so unprofessional and extremely rude.

Its unfortunate to leave a 2 stars today due to extreme rudeness from a employee named Lilly.I went to get a mani and Pedi today as I usually go every other week and left with a headache. I requested the lady to change the nail polish due to its thickness from the beginning. She kept saying its ok, its ok, top coat. At the end, I told her I wasnt happy with it and asked her to change it, she started throwing her nail tools around and speaking loudly her native language to the other employees. She seemed to be in a rush the entire time. Its unfortunate, because Ive gone there for a while and Lisa and the others are very, very nice. I am unsure of theres a person (owner) making sure customers are satisfied. I doubt ill go back.

I have been coming here for about more than a year. And they let themselves go. First of all they were never able to do designs that I would bring in. One time I brought in a picture of my nails the way they did it months ago and they couldnt do it. They add a lot of additional fees. Everytimefor the past few months that I came I got cut. And now the middle of my nail plate is bleeding. They will tell you that they can do a design and its sadly a lie and you come out of the store with nothing close what you wanted and money spent.

I recently moved, however I discovered this nail spa after giving up on Mimis due to her poor customer service and long wait times. It is amazing - always well maintained and clean/sanitary, owners are friendly, all manicurists are so experienced, nice color selections, and fair prices. I have never had a bad experience and will miss them!! (Cant say the same for their 84th/5th ave store).

Did acrylic nail for $29 without tip. really affordable and love the inside decor of this place. Really clean and really good service. Jenny did my acrylic nails she was super nice and helpful and did such a great job with my nails. I love them so muchhhhh 💕

I like it here. Came in during the week and sat down right away. I got my feet and hands done. The place is clean and the staff is nice. They take their time and did a wonderful job. I went on a weekend and noticed how crowded it is but they have plenty of people there. The price was right. Parking is hit or miss so be prepared.

Called and scheduled an appointment for 4pm. Arrived on time, they were busy so I waited. After waiting 30 minutes the woman next to me that just arrived began getting her pedicure. I left. Whats the point of scheduling an appointment or waiting when they make you wait even after your appointment and provide service to someone that arrived after you

I tried this place once and will never go there again.I got my gel manicure on Sunday and by next day the color turned yellow and dirty like I have had it for weeks! I went to them and they refused to fix it for me unless I paid! They are so rude and so unprofessional. I would not recommend this place.

Don’t look for Janet. She doesn’t tell(remind) me the price before starting the service and explain anything to me. Just do whatever she wants without explanation.

Massage felt great on my feet. They include paraffin wax on your heels in the pedicure. It was a very good experience!

The person who was painting my nails didnt go up to the end of my cuticles so it looked grown out and 2 days after getting them done they starting chipping.

I like how my regular mani and pedi was done. Clean, careful, without any rush and patiently. I am satisfied with this service.

Worst place to do sns I did mine a week ago and all my nails cracked she did a mess on my hands and I got powder all over my clothes first and last time I go there it hasn’t even been a couple of days and my sns is chipping and falling off
