Its definitely a nice spot to come and enjoy yourself. They allow you to rent the place and throw an event privately before they open to the public. The space is big enough, and the outside is also spacious.

Awesome place to visit...You can also rent the space for private parties like a birthday, a wedding reception, a graduation, a anniversary an much more....The food there was AMAZING...If you havent tried this place yetyou must

This is the actual first time that Im leaving a review on yelp, I have NEVER experienced such terrible venue. I was performing that night, they didnt allow me to bring outside beverages so I was FORCED to have to buy three water bottles behind the bar. Little did I know that it was going to run me TWENTY TWO DOLLARS! My friend told me his mixed drink was absolutely disgusting and had to return it, she goes it wasnt good huh with a smile on her face as if she knew she wasnt good at making drinks. The food? Dont even get me started on that mystery meat, it was supposedly chicken but it tasted like a mixture of chicken, pork, and beef; there MUST be cross-contamination back there. Oh and btw, expect to pay prices of a top tier restaurant even though fast food is better than their overpriced food. Now and then? Never.

Amazing space for a multitude of venues. Great ambiance and friendly staff. Hookah was flavorful and the drinks were on point...

Came with two other girls and 4 guys… got denied at the door because it was “girls night” while waiting for our Uber, we saw AT LEAST 8 guys go inside. Then when we questioned them they had a worker from inside come out and put up a show saying “it was disrespectful how many guys came in.” Glad I won’t be supporting a place that lies to people. Would have appreciated them being straight up instead of putting up a show but I guess that’s how low of a business they are

Music and mood was nice. Service is good overall but drinks are ridiculously overpriced for being so watered down.

The location was a bit out of the way, but the space, drinks, food, mixologist, and the DJ Frank Smooth with karaoke on Friday nights are bomb! Make sure you get there!

After party here is terrible. Terrible service at the door... and super expensive for an unknown dj and specially for an after party. People are rude by the entrance, screaming, yelling, charging some people not charging others, they will let you in whenever they feel like it, it is mandatory coat check, expensive drinks... inside it doesnt get much better either. I do not recommend this place at all!! The overall vibe sucks!!

Understaffed, irresponsible organizers, horrible music and DJs. Extremely rude staff that were cursing and arguing with eachother. We saw was disrespectful to a bunch of people in line, calling them idiots and cursing at them just for not being ready for their turn. There was ONE bartender, ONE security guard and ONE person working coat check (but plenty of staff that were just sitting around watching the line) for an event of 200+ people. Coat check line was also a 30 minute wait and extremely disorganized. We were waiting outside in a line that wrapped around the block in the freezing cold. Despite hosting a NYE event, and arriving at 10:50pm, we weren’t able to get in until 12:15— long after the ball drop. Mandatory coat check that we HAD to pay for. Expensive tickets. No refund offered for this awful experience.

Hmmm. Heard hype about this place and decided to check it out. Where do I begin? I think the crowd doesnt understand techno so you might encounter rude people who dont understand unity with the beat, with people, and the universe. The bouncer manhandled me at the ATM for no reason. Someone who wanted space hit me with an umbrella while dancing, and thats when i decided to leave. Im pretty chill and dont get into peoples personal space. The straight men are overly posturing threatening masculinity. I just didnt understand the vibe on a Christmas eve and perversion of a culture that works really well in other US cities, like DC and Baltimore. I partied all around and just can tell when a place attracts hostile mediocrity. If you go, wear a smile. It will protect you to an extent. However, there are no safe space enforcement rules or bouncers you can count on to protect you if you get hit. Its pricy, and I agree with some other patrons that this place could do better.

Staff are rude once u out u cant go inside , and nobody warns u abt it. Once u out they push u out from their area with several idiotic reasons . Entrance was EMPTY THEY PUSHBUS OUT BY RUDELY YELLING FOR WHOLES STREET . If u have mind and dont wanna be embarrassed by ur own money don’t come here. Music sucks. Now me nor my 8 friends gonna come back here again!!!

Place is nice, dj was awesome, environment was friendly. But how do you expect customers to come back when drinks are ridiculously priced. They measured less than half a shot of vodka in a very small plastic cup and filled it with juice. I was done in 2 sips. $18, crazy. Bartenders dont even really know what they are doing, get people with more experience. And charge normal prices for size you are serving.

Do NOT conduct business with Now And Then. I learned my lesson the hard way.I had an event planned out a month and a half in advance that was cancelled 20 minutes into the show by the owners due to a lack of communication and the stark inability to keep their end of a bargain.The utter lack of communication and professionalism from the people who run this venue was remarkable.My company ended up selling over 70 tickets for this event and we had to reimburse every sold ticket, as well as reimburse over $500 to all the musicians set to perform in the show.A week later, I received an apology from a person (not an owner) who worked there. They promised to make it up by reimbursing me and my business $400. After a month of silence, the person finally got back to me said they could only pay $300. Just an hour later, they said they couldnt pay anything out. Zero. Nada. Nil. All because the owners of the venue felt they did nothing wrong. Remarkable!The way they went about this entire ordeal was wrong, unacceptable, and embarrassing. Thats right, they should be embarrassed of themselves.Like I said: Do not conduct business with Now And Then. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Amazing and affordable drinks! There’s a young lady there who made the best whiskey sour I’ve had yet! Loved the front outdoor seating. My boyfriend and I literally came across this bar by accident and we’re so grateful that we did. The staff took a lot of precaution in following safety guidelines due to COVID. Would deff recommend coming in the evening.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I went to this bar on new years eve 2022 with my friends. Using the Dice app we paid $50 for a ticket in order to secure a spot to get in. We showed up and waited over an hour in the rain, and ended up ringing in the new year, STILL in line, out in the cold. It was a terrible experience that I do not wish to repeat. Clearly they overbooked and did not care that their customers were spending the new year outside waiting. 🙄 We didnt get in until AFTER 1AM!!!! So ridiculous and would not recommend this club to anyone.

Great environment, good vibes. Great karaoke crew. I love my karaoke spots. I hope to see this place thrive as it had a great mixed crowd of many different people and different styles of music. Show up more 5han once for the bar tenders to recognize you as a person who will come around and the prices arent bad. This is a review from their Halloween party “sip n sin” the most unorganized ghetto event I’ve ever been to. They were purposely holding the line until 10:30 so people would have to pay. Regardless of having the ticket. Guys $40 and girls $20! We’re on the line for an hour and a half. Very belligerent staff. The female security was yelling “ back the F up “ while physically pushing people and wondering why people were stepping to her? Maybe because you have no manners and are acting like a complete savage. We had friends who were already inside telling us it was not worth any amount of money to enter. Margarita pitcher was apparently $50 for straight margarita mix. This event ruined our Halloween. For the owners of this place to work with these kind of people for an event shows a lot

Its a cool spot that I like going to but I had an incident with a bartender there that left a bad impression. Im not much of a drinker so whenever Im out at a club, bar or lounge I drink mainly soda and water to keep a clear head. One time I asked a bartender for some water and she had the nerve to get mad and complain about me not buying any drinks. Thats my choice, not hers! I wanted to say some things but I kept my cool. Needless to say, Im not paying for their overpriced drinks. A Corona is $10 and a bottle of water is $4. They can keep that.

Drinks barely had any alcohol and filled up with juice. I had to order 5 drinks just to feel a buzz, Deff not worth it you can get your moneys worth in other places.

On the night I went, there were two outstanding soulful house music DJs from Oakland performing.

Spent close to 600 on bottle service on Friday 1/20 and as the only table with bottles I had to hunt down the waitress for more sodas, ice. Also bottle menu not accurate did not have everything available.

I stumbled onto this place & I love it. The atmosphere is great. The Dj was awesome...especially for a Sunday afternoon. The bar was a little expensive $12 for a carina BUT, I get it because, there is no traffic walking by. I would definitely go back again.

Came here for a group event . Never saw a waitress. Only menu i saw was people fanning themselves withbit , since it was so hot. Never saw a table. Busted. If you want to eat and drink at a noisey club be my guest. It sucked

Sound system is amazing both outside and inside but the bathrooms need to be updated asap with hands free system so you don’t touch the faucet

First time there....went to celebrate with my daughter who turned 30...the atmosphere was nice ~the dj did good with the music...the food and drinks were okay...I would go back had a lot of fun

Ran by a bunch of Crooks. Every person you talk to has a different rental price. Then when you confirm a rental they demand payment happen prior to contract being signed. Thats Schemer behavior. Will never step foot in this place again.

Dirnks were horrible. Food hit or miss. Only thing that was good was the DJ. The bathroom are also extremely dated and parking is scarce.

Honestly the drinks are way over priced and as former bartender I feel bad for staff because its cutting into their tips ... $37 for a double shot of Hennessy is robbery... Hire a general contractor because there are several potential hazards waiting to happen ie steps , bathroom and flooring.

Great little spit with yummy bar staples with a twist. Food was delicious, fast and server was a pro. A neighborhood fave.

Do not leave an open tab at this place they will overcharge you and not show you a itemized receipt. But their brunches on Sunday are really fun good music and good food.

Ive seen more courtesy from a CD peddler in Times Square than the security here. There is no way I will be coming back to a venue where the security refers to the community as your crowd. It was clear a drag show was not his flavor when he threatened to “escalate things” with multiple guests, which doesn’t leave much up to interpretation.

Traveled from far to go here for a free advertised party but when we got to the door, they were charging a steep cover. One star based on duplicitous practices.
