I had been going to Lux for about 16 years for haircut and twice a year for a massage. Mandy was an exceptional stylist. You kind of feel like family the way they treat you. I only left because I live out of town and it was getting to be long of a drive after work. I do come once in awhile for a massage. Love the staff.

I stopped in wanting to see if someone had time to cut my 15 yr old son’s hair. He really only wanted a tiny trim to get the front out of his eyes. They said to come back in 45 minutes and they’d get him in. I dropped him off to get his hair done with Maddie. When I got back I could see him sitting in the waiting chairs and instantly thought Omg it’s so short. I was not expecting it. I go in to pay and while paying the woman asks if I want to schedule something for the next time. My son being polite didn’t say anything but no we’ll wait. I could see he was on the verge of tears. He said he told her what he wanted and that she was cutting it too short. I really don’t know how it could’ve happened and been so far from he asked for. There’s no fixing it as that will take months. I felt so horrible last night and still do today for taking him here! He didn’t want to go school for fear of being made fun of and I honestly can’t say I blame him. Super bummed.The only reason I gave two stars was for the staffs politeness and interactions with me. My son however would give them -5 stars!

I appreciated the personable personalities of all that were working. The knowledge and expertise on massage was very necessary and was incredibly helpful!

I went in today a little shaky about my decision on hair color, Maddie, sweet Maddie, she is wonderful, not only did she take in my vision she put a spin on it with her spunk. I needed change and Maddie did that for me. I will return for her to venture off with my visions and her twist! Thank you Maddie!!!

What I love about Lux, is the experience as a whole from start to finish. The staff are professional and friendly. There is plenty of time allotted, so I never feel rushed like at other salons during the color and cut process. The stylist gives you their full attention and I am always surprised by how accommodated I feel after leaving. I have been here several times with a few different stylists, and each one holds high standards for customer service and satisfaction.

I dont remember the name of the girl that did my waxing, but I asked for a Brazilian.She said she was done after only doing the front, I mentioned that she hadnt done the back and she said some people dont want the back done, I had asked for a Brazilian which meant I wanted the back done and she didnt even ask me. Not only that, but there were so many patches of hair left, I pointed the patches out and asked her to finish removing them.She tried saying she was done 3 more times, each time there was still more hair to be removed. She finally got all the hair removed and I made up an excuse to leave because I did not trust her to do my eyebrows after that.I would give zero stars but she was at least nice about me telling her to fix it each time. However, waxing means no hair, so Im not sure why she thought she was finished and did a good job 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ali B did an amazing job for my lashes. Great thing about her as a lash tech is that she moves fast but still gives amazing results. Win-win. I appreciated that she kept in mind my back problems. She had a heating pad and cushion to help during my appointment.

My mom got eyelash extensions for the first time here a couple of days ago. She isn’t a “fancy” lady, she likes a natural look. Their basic set of lashes looked BEYOND fake & like fake eyelashes. She could fly away with those things 😂 They told her maybe she just needs to get used to them and she tried, but they were just way too long and thick looking for her. They were nice enough to have the girl that did her lashes fix them, but she still isn’t too pleased with results. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for beautiful, natural eyelash extensions. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because they were nice enough to try and fix her lashes.

I went to Lux for the first time and it was an AMAZING experience. I had Clare and she was GREAT! She was welcoming and did exactly what I wanted to my hair :)

My first time to Buffalos Lux Salon and I received a massage from Josie. It was wonderful. She was very attentive to my needs, upbeat and personable. Ill definitely go back.

I got my eyelashes done for the first time by Cidy!😊 She made the experience super easy and answered all my questions. She took her time to make sure they are perfect and I’m in love with them!

Jenny is my girl! She listened to what I thought I wanted for a haircut/style and translated it into exactly what I was looking for. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. I will be back in 6 weeks to have a hair update... I am looking forward to it!

It was a great experience being my first time there. All the ladies are very wonderful and fit me in today with a busy schedule. Randi did a great job on my hair. Very happy customer!

If you are looking for a good pedicure, I would not recommend Lux. A friend and I went together yesterday hoping for a relaxing experience, however, it was far from that. Only one of their 3 pedicure chairs massage function works. Thats part of the experience and I would expect an Aveda salon to have working equipment. The person working on my friends pedicure also cut her foot and caused it to bleed during the service. To top it off 45 minutes after the service the polish chipped. Not worth the $50.

Love my stylist, Kristen! Prices are better than some of the salons closer to the metro, but the expertise is still there.

Been having my hair done here for years. Chelsea M is remarkable! Everything from highlights, low lights, colors, updos for a wedding. Highly recommend.

We did a full color change and were really nervous but the color is perfect! There is great depth and variation! Everyone is very professional and skilled!

I recently got a balayage and it turned out perfect! All the staff was very flexible about scheduling and I really appreciated their patience and kindness!

Very professional and friendly, the location is always clean and stocked with the latest in hair products from Aveda. If youre looking for the latest hair styles this is the place to go....
