Js White Elephant

Went to Js White Elephant for a baby shower little dated but between the shower decorations and the decor of the place looked wonderful. It was nice to see cloth napkins and table clothes and real dishes and silverware instead of plastic. There was 2 punches one with fruit and 7up and wine and one non alcoholic both very good. The food was delicious was served buffet style the chicken Parmesan was nicely breaded was crispy and hot when we sat down nice roasted potatoes and Italian sausage with green peppers and onions. The rigatoni was saucy and not dry and rolls with butter that I had to have like a mini baguette. the servers we around to help with more food and drinks and cutting the cake and passing around. Was a real nice affair would recommend for other affairs nice job

Had a funeral luncheon here for my husband. Everything was great. Room beautiful and comfortable. Good service. Great food.Buffet had salad, rolls and butter, corn, seasoned potatoes, pasta in sauce and we chose the herb chicken and their famous pork chops . Everything was delicious and plenty of food available at a reasonable price. Very easy to deal with. A relaxing ( and tasty) way to end a difficult day.

I went to a large banquet there today. 200+ attendees. I would have given this place a 5 star if their service and organizational skills were better. The decor is pretty and the food was delicious. As usual, the answer to everything is not enough staff. A family style meal should accommodate all sitting at a table. 5 rolls for a table of 10, not enough potatoes or chicken served for everyone sitter. I had no chicken and about a tbsp of potatoes. We had to get our own water, stand in line for dessert, and they ran out of coffee. We stood in line for that, too. Will this group vote to go back for their next banquet??? 🤔

We attended a First Communion party for our great nephew here a few weeks ago. It was very nice and clean in the front room we were in. The food was pulled pork and pork chops with potatoes, rigatonis and salad. It was actually very good. The workers seemed very overwhelmed and overworked and not easily accessible. Overall it was a good day!

The food was DELICIOUS and the venue was absolutely beautiful. But the staff was not very pleasant and missing most of my bridal shower. We also had the venue until 2:00 pm and at 1:45, they were taking down the table cloths and rushing everyone to leave. They even moved purses and didn’t notice anyone. We had to wait over 5 minutes for the waitresses to fill the ketchup which was ridiculous. I also ordered the unlimited mimosa pitcher and they never filled it up once it was empty. But other than that, it was a beautiful place without TONS of parking!

Absolutely loved the venue. My wife and I had our baby shower last weekend. The staff was amazing, the brunch was phenomenal. Cannot recommend this venue enough. It is a bit pricey, but well worth the money

We threw my mom a 70th birthday party and she beat breast cancer celebration! We were planning this for months and Karen came through! There were a few hiccups like the door was locked so we had to use another partys entrance but they were so nice about it. Finally Tyler came, her son, and opened the door. He is also the bartender and was AMAZING!! He also moved furniture around to ensure we got the look we wanted. Deb was the first on the scene when we arrived and was setting up all the tables. She also had great ideas on how to make them look awesome. We had a great time and we really surprised our mom. It was a Harlem Nights theme or Great Gatsby. There was one rude worker but Karen handled her and let us know that she took care of it. I would definitely book here again. Oh after our party was over this place turns into a cute bar/dance club at 11pm...just FYI for ya! 😉

A well managed and courteous venue. We had chicken Marsala, ham, rice, vegetable (cooked from frozen but prepared acceptably) rolls and few other things (I didnt have them so I forgot). The chicken was tender and not over cooked. People loved the ham enough to compliment the staff about it.The manager kept us on pace for our three hour lease.The venue itself is nicely decorated in browns and wood accents. The compliments were abundant.The bar (we paid for the open bar option) was well stocked and the bartender was super professional yet accessible.We are definitely rethinking about rebooking for next year.

I attended an wedding reception. The venue was beautiful and the DJ was great as well. The food was exceptional.

Great place. AMAZING FOOD! Good service. Had a memorial for my father and went to The White Elephant because it was one of my dads favorite places to go and take us. They were very accommodating.

We had an 80th Birthday Party at Js and a week later we were back there for a bridal shower. They were both 5 star events. The staff kept the tables cleared off all through the events. The food was very good. We will be booking a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party for next year there.

This place was excellent! I did a roaring 20’s birthday party. The owner was very knowledgeable on how to make our event memorable. She listened to what we wanted and gave suggestions on how to make it great. The staff during the party were attentive and nice. The bartender’s were awesome.

Food was awesome. The only issue I have is that its the same food every brunch.

Karen and Team - words can’t express my gratitude for how amazing you were in helping pull together an extremely rushed event. Karen was instrumental in guiding us in the right direction and truly has a heart of gold! It was clear to me from our first meeting that they understood our purpose and were extremely transparent in how they could help. To say they over delivered would be an understatement…Karen I am eternally grateful to you and your staff and can’t thank you enough for providing such a wonderful staff, amazing food, and a great venue for our event!

After my father passed away a couple years ago, our family was looking for a place to have the brunch at and Js White Elephant was the perfect location. I believe the owners name was Karen and after meeting with her, we knew we were in good hands. Everything was ready to go when the time came, the staff was incredibly friendly but not over the top phony friendly and the food was also very good, much better than I expected actually. I went back for seconds and might have even had three servings of the french toast. It is just a nice, cozy place and from what I could see, it was run well across the board. Thank you for helping us make the most out of a such a depressing situation!

The bar tender for this private party was absolutely terrible. He was rude and clearly had better places to be.

Had a luncheon for 15. It was fantastic. The green beans were crisp and not over cooked, the roasted potatoes were very flavorful, stuffed shells perfect and roast beef juicy. The staff were wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had a lovely Christmas party last night, catered byJs White Elephant . While the food was good, it wasnt exactly what we ordered. We ordered scalloped potatoes but we got a diced kind of roasted potato. The roast beef was tender and tasty, but no au jus , just sitting in a type of bloody drippings ,and it was cold. There was no butter for the dinner rolls. And we ran out of horseradish. And there was not enough salad for everyone.

I was there for a Christmas party. The person hosting the party was told after we eat they were immediately taking the food because they had a party of 180 coming in. Ok our space was reserved well in advancedand paid for. They never directly told us to leave, they just had 5 staff members hovering over us until most of the party was so uncomfortable they ended up leaving. I have never been treated that way before at a banquet hall. I will never return to Js white elephant again. Very unprofessional.

We have our meetings here with wonderful food! Great room and the servers are so polite and efficient! And let me say again the food is excellent!

Celebrated a monumental birthday. The planning of the event with Karen was exceptional. The food and service from the event staff was outstanding. I will definitely be requesting their services again.

OMGOSH!!! This place today was Amazing! Very Clean, Very kind workers. The Food was Outstanding we had scrambled eggs, sausage potatoes, French toast made sweet as could be.😆 The Fruit youd think it was just picked today.Excellent service 👍👍👍👍👍

I can’t say enough good things about this venue and the staff. My family has had many showers and celebrations here over the years. Just recently we had my dad’s surprise 80th birthday party. From the very beginning, Karen was friendly and informative, letting us craft the party we envisioned and helping us along the way to make it happen. The front room is bright and beautiful, the perfect spot for a daytime gathering. There are no steps and only a 2-3” lip to get in the building, which made it a great facility for our elderly and disabled guests. The servers were all friendly and kind, never making us feel rushed or wanting of anything. And the food - let me tell you about the food. Absolutely top notch. The pork chops and sliced Turkey are amazing. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of the atmosphere and everything that comes with it. I’d highly recommend this location for any event!

Not my favorite place. The outside looks terrible. The inside smaller room is adorable. The woman in charge will try to change the prices on you on the day of the event. The room was not ready on the day of the event. The service during the event was great!

Came here after a funeral service. The spread they set out for us was fantastic. A good variety, all fresh, and very good. If we lived in town we would be back for sure.I didnt get any pictures as I didnt feel it appropriate under the circumstances.

If I could give this place a zero and 2 thumbs down, I would. Upon arrival there was not one employee in sight. I found the “owner” and was met with attitude because I had to go into the kitchen to find someone to find her. She said my party was on the other side. Well that other side was all locked, We ordered appetizers for guests and they were taken away before our guest were done with it. They didn’t even have enough silverware and brought out one fork at a time. We had to request for a garbage can, multiple times and it still took them so long, so long that we used an empty cardboard box we had brought for trash. We ordered multiple Choices of Pop and it was put out so late and again after multiple requests and after the food was out!! We ordered a full Buffet with multiple choices. While guest turned their back to get a drink, their full plate of food was taken away. A pregnant guest went up for a second helping and was told all the food was thrown away and she should of came up sooner. Everything was rushed, food was not out long. The food, I paid for!! 2 guests were late and I was so shocked, all the food was taken away and was told the chef left and the food was thrown out. The owner didn’t care about anything and even added a surprise fee. My pregnant daughter, who’s baby shower this was, asked for the water to be refilled and it never happened. They couldn’t even refill water!!! The worst service ever. The food was just okay, nothing great. Pasta sauce is from a jar, I’m not fooled. Worst experience. If you have an event, take your business to where you are valued. So many other banquet halls with better food, Never again.

Just went to a wedding where they on site catered. Everything was great! All the meat, pastas, salads, bread....zero complaints!! On site is a lot harder than in their own restaurant, so extra points. Everything was served just right and nice and hot! It was More than enough for everyone there. Will def. Consider them for future plans/events bc I have been to a lot of weddings where the food was not even close to this! Thanks for the great dinner!!!

Great craft beer selection on tap. Staff is friendly, the owner is usually around to say hi and make sure youre having a good time. It is also a great banquet facility. Nice rooms, nice atmosphere. The food is also good with a late night menu. It also has ample parking.

I went here for a retirement party. The food was fantastic!! Everyone was talking about how good it was. The people setting things up were also wonderful! I recommend it if youre having a small party or event!

We attended a wedding shower. The room was a great size with plenty of room for our party. The food was very good, the waitstaff was attentive, and the bathrooms were clean. There was another party in a different room but they had a separate entrance and there were no problems with noise or overlap.

Enjoyed a baby shower here. Place was decorated nicely and the food was excellent! It was a morning shower, so we enjoyed breakfast foods, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, french toast, ham and sausage. Wait staff was pleasant and attentive.

Easter brunch was great. Food was very good. Waitresses were very kind and attentive. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because hostess kept taking mask off, even when walking by all the tables of seated guests and worst of all, to prep and serve food.

Having planned 6 previous events with Karen Jacobi & is staff. WE can only rave about the quality, fresheners, promptness service and professionalism of her staff. Not only survived Gov lock-down has come out Victorious . Many upgrades with Facilities. I recommend White Elefant with total confidence

I would recommend this place to anyone for any event! Karen was amazing to work with planning an open bar package for 70 people. She catered to what was best for our size party and really cares about people that come into her venue. If there is a small hiccup it is fixed INSTANTLY. I was very impressed by that. The rest of the staff was so friendly andhars working, I want to give them the kudos they deserve as well. And the food was AMAZING. My guests were so impressed by the quality. Will definitely be planning future events here. Thank you Karen and your staff for such a wonderful evening!

Attended s police sponsored event with this caterer and the cheese burgers were delicious! A-lot of people attended and we never had to wait for hot food.Friendly staff and hard workers! Great Job guys and girls!

My bridal shower was recently held her. We utilized the smaller room. It was a beautiful space with the brick and mirrors. There is what kind of seems like a stage in the front of the room where we put a dessert table and where my fiance and I opened gifts. The set up was perfect. The food was absolutely wonderful! We had brunch and I couldnt have been more please. Karen and Barb were so helpful to my sister. We had an unforseen seating snafu and Barb jumped right in to help add an additional table and place settings. As for price, my sister said it was just right. Thanks to all the staff that helped make this day special for my fiance and I!!

We had a 50th surprise party. Service, food, music, and atmosphere were all great, however, when I got the bill at the end of the night, it was about $500 more than quoted, wasnt to happy about that

Had my sisters baby shower there. Venue was nice, small front room. Food was alright nothing fancy but just alright, was expecting more. Also we couldnt take any of our food home. Paid for 45 people and flat out refused to let us take food, we already paid for mind you, home as a left over. On top of that there was a surprise banquet fee on the bill. Asked about the additional fee that wasnt discussed previously and was handed a small print out trying to define a banquet fee. After the print out we all were still confused on what a banquet fee entitled. They specifically mentioned that a banquet fee is not gratuity. Everyone seemed pretty nice but because of that surprise fee we refused to leave a tip. Sorry to the waitresses if your management didnt surprise guests with fees then you might have received a tip. Wouldnt recommend this place to family or friends.

I attended an after brunch for a funeral. 8t took nearly 2 1/2 hrs to get fed with not one staffember addressing it or even being around to be questioned. Its as if they were hiding. All we had was one diet coke & a 7 up that werent refilled for us. No coffee. That was disappointing. I would have expected they would have treated the grieving family better.

I happen to walk in on Saturday night and was greeted like family. The people working there are super professional and attentive. I ordered drinks and ate and I have to say the food was top notch. If I could, I would have given it 6 stars. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

Went out to Js for a company gently together after work. Great atmosphere and good beers. Had a Southern Tier Live and a delicious Cajun salmon sand salsa entree. Great service too... Will be back soon

They catered our 40th high school reunion. The food was delicious!!! Great roasted chicken and beef on weck. The vegetable medley and salads were great too. Their food is awesome!!!!

We were here for a luncheon after my fathers funeral service. The food was okay but nothing really to write home about. Chicken was good, roast beef was okay veggies were good, except the carrots were hard and could have been cooked longer. The pasta dish wasnt good at all though, the pasta was unevenly cooked (some noodles soft, some al dente) and the pasta sauce tasted like they opened a can of tomato paste and dumped it on. No seasoning or anything. I would not recommend them for lunch, but perhaps their brunch is better.

Good place for a wedding. The food and drinks were good! The dance floor couldve been bigger, but still a great venue for a great time.

There for a baby shower. Coffee was never full and pastries were dry. Pretty venue. Had our party and another baby shower sandwiching a funeral breakfast- had to keep walking through them for the restrooms. Couldnt have been nice for them.

I had my baby shower here on Sunday and overall wasnt impressed.I viewed the facility in August and fell in love with the larger pink and gold room. I arrived an hour before the party started to set up, and to my surprise, they had us set up in the room with the dance floor. After questioning this, the young lady referred me to the website where it says the deposit just holds the date, not the room. The back room with the dance floor was dark, cramped, and then we lost all of our balloons due to thier ceiling (husband had to leave and buy more). After this happened, I mentioned to the same lady that I was not happy with the room one bit. She left, came back and said its your day, so we will switch it. I was thankful for that.They finally had the room ready for us to set up around 12:30. My guests arrived at 1pm on the dot. Around 1:20, people started asking me about drinks since nothing was available. When I spoke with Karen on the phone 10 days prior, she mentioned they supplied coffee, tea, and water and would have a cash bar open to anyone who wanted alcohol or soft drinks. I inquired with the same young lady from before, she again referred me to the web site where it said that they brought it out with dinner and said I never requested a cash bar. At this point, I felt very defensive of my guests, told her Karen and i discussed it over the phone and asked if we could have water now at least. She agreed, brought out water with plastic cups, and mentioned she would be behind the bar when she was finished with food that should be ready at 1:30. Around 1:45 food was served and the young lady helped me make a plate, which was nice, and then she jumped behind the bar. Coffee and tea didnt come out until 2pm. The spring chicken was delicious and the same young lady asked my guests how everything tasted and was the only one helping to clear plates.Around 3pm, my husband paid for the venue while I opened gifts. Another miscommunication was the 18% service charge, I was told it acted as a gratuity which I guess goes back to the banquet hall. My husband tipped the young lady alone since she was the only person we saw the whole time.I envisioned my shower going a lot smoother. I decided to do a banquet hall since I didnt want to cook for 35 guests and wanted the service help. Instead, I have a very sour taste in my mouth about Js. The one lady helping us, never mentioned her name and we had to constantly search for her. I will gladly attend another party here since the food was delicious, but I will never host or reccomend a party here to anyone. Very disappointed.

We attended a St. Josephs Table with the Italian American Police Association on Friday, March 18th. The food was great and the atmosphere was fantastic.

Myself and my family went there for dinner, It might have been the best food & service I have ever had. John made his presance felt, Making sure everything was cooked the way we liked it, and it was . My son is a picky eater and they catered to his wants as far as dinner. I would recommed this New restaurant to everybody. The Service was 2nd to none,Def a A+

Ruined my mother-in-laws memorial service by preparing the food contrary to what was ordered. My wife and i could not eat what was presented. Do not go here if you have food allergies.

Went to Js for a communion party. The decoration was beautiful, food was delicious, personnel very attentive. Is a very welcoming place. Definitely will celebrate future events there.

Went there for an uncles funeral breakfast. Small venue for parties - gatherings. Major down fall is right in middle of the banquet hall is the men’s and ladies rest room ( and only 1 person at a time can use) not great thinking on owners - architecture designers. Our breakfast was ok - ham very salty / French toast was either old and reheated or they used stale bread to make it. Eggs tasted like they are not fresh scrambled eggs ( more like bag of egg mix - like egg beaters - YUCK !!

The restaurant was very nice & clean. Staff for event were wonderful! Made sure everyone had everything they needed. Buffett was good & refilled promptly.

Miserable bartender, food subpar. Pasta sauce tasted the same as Jard Prego. Servers were very nice. The salad, was a typical salad. Cant really screw that up!

We went here for a bachelor party, excellent catered food. Highly recommend for their bar. They could make some improvements to the atmosphere as it feels generic.

We had our 20th reunion here (Im showing my age 🙄) and it was great...the chicken wings were great, the staff attentive...and the lady helping us with everything was spectacular.

Our other place canceled on us plus were over charging. We had two days to find somewhere else.karen pulled it off we booked here they took care of everything from dj to officiant. And the food was amazing ppl cleaned there plates..if your looking to be spoiled and have amazing food and staff ..come here 1000% satisfaction!

The Gospel Bus from Baltimore went to Buffalo NY with Pastor and First Lady Brown. We went to church on Saturday. Haveva marvelous 3day weekend.

I love to DJ weddings here! The staff is friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The banquet room is perfect for any occasion. Not to mention there is plenty of parking.

Bowling banquet. Food selection, beef on weck, lemon pepper fish, baked chicken, smashed red potatoes, garden salad and pasta. Food was good, no complaints. The banquet hall was a little too noisy, lot of echoing.

I was a little hesitant about this place but it where our friends wanted to have their wedding. The food was delicious, we had cod n prime rib, potatoes,pasta n sauce, carrots, rolls n salad.

Went for a party, and aside from the moldy cheese and tasteless placement of a bachelorette party right next to our 50 th anniversary party, it was just meh. Not particularly friendly or accommodating. Wouldnt recommend.

The bouncer told a friend if mine who is in the military to tuck in his dog tags. I wouldnt step foot into this non patriotic establishment. Place is dirty and people are rude

Tried calling on Monday June 21st and Tuesday June 22nd left a message and nobody ever called back, it was about a funeral breakfast. We found another place after calling 4 times.

This was a wonderful venue. The decor was elegant and the food was delicious.

I was at a birthday party, the place was nice ...way different from what I remember.

Food was very good. Bartends seem friendly and fast to service.

Went to a bridal shower and it is a really nice looking venue and very comfortable and clean.
