Finally checked out the new location and was so impressed! Its beautiful and spotless. Scheduling online was easy, and my session with Tiffany was top notch.They really make sure everything is stress free so you can just go in and relax.

Got to come here as a birthday gift. Was freaking awesome. See grace.......she is great. Great atmosphere.

Hands down the best spa I have ever been to. Extremely relaxing, wonderful staff and so many services offered. The facilities are very clean, organized, includes relaxing water features and ambient lighting. My husband and I get a couples massage every month, the private nail spa is such an amazing place to get pedicures and I’ve also received a facial that was absolutely heavenly. You are treated like family when you are there. Would recommend to everyone to try. There is also a shop that has wonderful products including the owners skincare products-definitely worth trying as well!

I treated my wife and sister to a Swedish massage and pedicure. They loved it. I had a mens pedicure, and it was wonderful. The young lady who did all of our pedicures was extremely nice, and we all taked and had a wonderful time with her. I would recommend coming here anytime. We drove 1.5 hours each way, and it was well worth the time and effort. Try it once, and you will be back.

This place is amazing. They were awesome at their previous location and now they are even better at their new spot. Very clean, everyone was very kind and helpful, beautiful and peaceful decor, delicious drinks and snacks while you wait. Cannot say enough about them. So glad they are in Burleson and available when I need them.

First visit today. Christof was my masseuse and he was excellent! Will definitely use him again. The place was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Lots of different services available. Also used the sauna after my massage and loved that also!

Found my favorite pedicure place. Experienced the tropical deluxe pedicure with Sarai. She did a fantastic job. Very thorough with her work and my feet feel amazing! I even got to use the sauna as part of the service. What a fabulous experience. Thank you Sarai!

Phenomenal! Went to this spa for the first time tonight and will definitely be back. I did the 50 minute back, neck, and shoulder massage and it was worth every penny! I can’t remember the last time I felt this relaxed and able to fully move my neck without stiffness. Thank you guys!

I’ve had my fair share of massages and spa “experiences” lol! From the amazing to the awful, and Island Massage was in the top 5. We live 2 minutes away and I’ve driven past many times wanting to schedule something and I’ve gotten busy, forgot, etc. I am so glad I stopped in today for my birthday. I felt like I was in another beach-y world. It was clean, cozy and the vibe was amazing. Stacy outdid herself with my 90 min massage. HIGHLY recommend

This place was amazing! Beautiful interior and very friendly staff. I had Christina as my message therapist and she was very friendly and personable :) She alleviated all the pain in my back and shoulders and overall it was a great experience.

Amazing location, facility and massage therapists. It is like a mini vacation every couple of weeks. I had a facial with microplaning - this is so much better than waxing. I love how Sally and her staff seek out the newest and best treatments for clients.

This place is a little paradise in the middle of Burleson. Love the way they have it set up. My massage, facial and pedicure were the best I’ve ever had. They make you feel like family and are very professional. And the free sauna at the end is a perfect touch!

Absolutely amazing. My first time ever getting a massage and the staff was so friendly and inviting. Even the other clients there had nothing but great things to say about their experiences. The sauna and refreshments were an unexpected and very appreciated gesture. My masseuse was Maryann and she was fantastic. She asked me about my main concerns for the massage and she treated them all in a way I can’t even begin to express how good it all felt. Wonderful experience, I will definitely be coming back!!

I have gotten massages before and let me tell ya, this place goes above and beyond all that you know about the massage experience! I was given a locker and a key, inside my locker was a super soft robe, a large towel, and some slippers. In the locker room there was a shower for after your massage, a private restroom, and a sauna! After you get your robe on you wait in the back at the cutest sitting area with snacks, water, juice to be called back. The rooms are nice! Heated beds, a shower and sink in there as well, and soft music aging. My masseuse was Grace. She was extremely pleasant and wonderful at her craft. After my massage, I spent some time in the sauna (not an additional charge!) which was really neat because I’ve only ever seen them in movies! I love this place and will definitely be coming back!

Great spa at a great price. Nice and cozy atmosphere. My wife and I had a couples pedicure. Sauna was a nice end. I cant wait for the couples message next week.

This was my first time visiting, and all I can say is WOW! Why did I not know about this place earlier!? As soon as you walked in the door, it felt like a Caribbean spa! I thought it was just a regular massage salon, I wasn’t expecting to be treated like I was on vacation! The soft cozy robes, the sauna and the massage were top notch! I told Timothy (I hope I got his name right), that was the best massage I’ve ever had! And I’ve had a lot! Great job!

Marla is MARVELOUS! She has so many ways to work an area. I always feel so much better when I leave than when I arrived! And I sat & relaxed in the sauna for a bit afterwards which was a big added bonus. Thank you Sally for a beautiful facility with so many additional features to sooth the soul!

It just gets better and better! They have expanded and the spa is beautiful! Island Massage Spa is welcoming and inviting! Its a restful oasis to relax and just be. I am so glad I chose to have a membership at this spa because there is so much that comes with it - more than most places I looked at or visited. Sarah was my therapist and she did amazing, focused on the things i wanted her to focus on. I loved it so much. She made me feel so comfortable mainly because it was my first time ever getting a massage. Got a warm welcome when i walked in the door.

Island massage is a locally owned business. The new building they are in is amazing. The massage suite I was in was the best, I have ever seen. It had a jetted tub and a walk in shower. The mens locker room has a sauna, walk in shower, individually wrapped razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Finally, for the icing on the cake, the massage was terrific. Thank you, Island Massage Spa.

This is one of mine and my husbands favorite places to get a couples massage. They do an amazing job catering to our wants, and they are usually pretty easy to book with. Lynn is amazing and I always look forward to my appointments with him.

I absolutely love this place! I went ahead and got memberships for both my wife and I. Today was my first time going in for a massage and it was fantastic! Maryann was my very skilled massage therapist. You can’t pour from an empty vessel. Do yourself a favor and spend the money. You deserve it.

They have moved into a new location in Burleson and it is BEAUTIFUL! Sally, the owner, is so sweet and truly cares about her clients! They have SO many amenities you can chose from, it really is a complete spa experience! Her staff is professional but also personable! Sally was my massage therapist and knew exactly what I needed. My back, neck and shoulders feel fantastic! Her staff are superb! Nicole was my aesthetician. My face is so broken out and she knew exactly what to do and how to heal my skin! She was so smart and so sweet! I HIGHLY recommend her! The price is just right too! Much cheaper than those other places and you get WAY more! They have SO many different services! EVERYONE needs to check them out! Island Massage is THE BEST!

I just had the most bizarre experience at Island Massage 9/18. I had been a member for about two years, but will not be back at this point.I had an appointment 7/5 with Sally because the person I had used in all my time as a customer left the company. Sally did good work that day and really worked the heck out of my problem areas (hurt so good), and made a huge difference in my back.I did not have another appointment until 8/28. I received NO notification whatsoever of the location change that was official 8/26. It had been in the works for a very long time, and I was never told a cutover date.Because of this I went to the old location and realized that they obviously were no longer at the Renfro building. When I googled and found the new location, I was told upon arrival that it was posted on Facebook - I didn’t realize that was mandatory to receive communications about A WHOLE LOCATION CHANGE as a MONTHLY MEMBER.The front desk notified me that they now ask members to arrive 15 minutes before the appointment time. Again, something I was not told being that I didn’t even know where the business was.I was shown to a locker room, which is not my style at all. I prefer complete privacy like the old building had, and to go from being frazzled about the location and running late at this point to being told I had to change in an open space with other guests was not received well by me. I was to change into a ridiculously hot robe on a 110 degree day. It was the complete opposite of relaxing, which I did express at the time. I was content with the massage I received (a different MT, not from Sally)Fast forward to today, my next appointment 9/18. I did plan on giving notice of cancellation which I mentioned on the phone when confirming the appointment earlier today. I also had my last massage scheduled for Saturday 9/23. We are busy with kids’ sports and we are cutting costs, so this non-necessity was going to go.I was booked with Sally (today and Saturday) and arrived early like I should have. I was told by the kind employee at the front that we were going to discuss membership cancellation and remaining credits during my massage. I was told that if I wasn’t a fan of the robes, I could wait in the waiting area for my turn (assuming I could change in the room like before). I again mentioned that I was very frazzled last time so I appreciated her making me more comfortable.After my scheduled start time, Sally comes around the corner near where I am waiting and grabs one of her employees by the arm and takes her down the hallway to have what seemed to be an urgent discussion. Sally then came up to me and said she had something going on with her family and she had to leave and that this other employee was going to take care of me. I was not interested in that option, so I said not to worry about it and I was going to leave. I saw the same employee for two years. I was not keen on seeing a third person in the three months since Joyeaux left so I was willing to leave without service.Sally then began to say I insulted her business and that it wouldn’t be good for her if she worked on me today. I replied that it also was not good for me to at the last second be pushed onto another MT that I did not know. I said I chose her specifically because she did a badass job the last time I had her. She said she was giving me to the other person because I insulted her business, that she was going to cancel my membership, and that I “didn’t have to come back Saturday”. I stopped at the front desk and asked for a refund for today - we will see if that is processed or not.I am not sure which part of the situations above are considered insulting her business. Poor communication and changes I am not a fan of in the new building are things I am allowed to have an opinion on as a former paying customer.

This was such a wonderful and luxurious experience that you don’t find in this area. Shout out to Frankie! She did an amazing job. Highly recommend her and Island Massage!

I LOVE this place! Been a member for years, and the recent move to the new building was wonderful for the company! Sally (the owner) executed everything SO WELL. My first time at the new building was amazing. I did the 60 min massage plus jacuzzi milk bath and it was so relaxing. Massage first with Frankie, and then bath for 30 min. You get tea, fruit, and chocolate while in the bath. There is a shower in each room. The locker rooms have lockers, a shower, and a sauna. I utilized the sauna after my bath. You now get slippers and a robe when you’re there which we didn’t get at the old building. They make you feel like royalty. I’m a huge fan of all the new amenities. Yes prices went up just a little bit, but it’s worth it considering how much more you get with your experience, and if you do your research all prices for services are VERY competitive. So STOP COMPLAINING. You didn’t get a robe, slippers, shower and sauna access, or options for all the new services. Facials, microdermabrasion and facial peels, mani/pedi’s, baths, wraps, sugar scrubs, etc. Just check out the website. If you’re a member you get 10% off the other services. I highly recommended this place! Give it a try!

Oh. My. Goodness. Let me just start by saying that I’ve had many massages in my life, but Sally! Sally is probably the best and most effective massage I have ever had. Her hands are like magic! She has definitely been blessed with the gift of touch. She worked a miracle on my poor body. That’s the only way to describe it. I am a stylist and so I have a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck, my legs, my hands….Sally was able to relieve all of it. She did all of this plus she did “cupping” on my back which was amazing! I plan to have a standing appointment with her from now on. I shall not go to anyone else. The facility itself is very nice and has a fantastic feeling. The atmosphere is very conducive to relaxation. It was clean and cozy. I’m already dreaming of my next appointment.

I got an hour massage with Joy and it was amazing! I asked her to work on tension in my shoulder and my head because I have had a headache for 5 days straight. She knew exactly where to go for all my pain. I 100% recommend her.I also got a foot detox. The woman that helped was nice and explained everything to me. Still to be determined in whether or not the detox actually helped. :)

That was the best massage I had ever had. She did the front and the back and it was the bomb she was gentle. I had her focus on my neck and my shoulders She did an amazing job and if I ever go back to Texas again. Im going back there, she was all right with me

This was my first visit and I received a 90 minute Swedish massage from Joy and very much enjoyed the experience.Regarding the massage: Joy was professional, listened to my concerns without judgment, and an expert in her massage therapy. I was honestly surprised by how masterfully she assessed areas that needed attention. I mean, in a single touch she would notice the slightest muscle tension that I didn’t know about and address it fluidly, leaving me to think, “How is she able to do that? Oh, that feels… yep... needed that.”Regarding the 109 NW Renfro facility: The building is well kept and on theme as an “Island Massage Spa.” Being so close to traffic I could occasionally hear the midlife crisis purchases drive by. It wasn’t anything that pulled me out of the massage. I did however hear doors closing loudly periodically and bouts of conversation outside the door. I wasn’t too bothered by it, but it definitely pulled me out of the moment. I believe they will be getting a new building soon to address all of this and more which is awesome and a super savvy decision.*Owner, as a stopgap before the move, I suggest adding some padding (cabinet bumpers if small enough) between the door and door frame to reduce the sound when the door closes and maybe a runner rug in the small hallway to dampen sound.Overall, the experience was well worth it and I look forward to returning!

My husband and I have had the couples 90 minute massage membership for almost two years and I have never had a bad experience. Sally, the owner puts me to sleep everytime and I wake up to the sound of myself snoring.Tracy can just look at how Im standing and knows what areas need to be worked on. Samuel can pinpoint exactly what area needs more attention and has strong hands (I like extra firm pressure). Williams deep tissue massages hurts so good. This business is one of my happy places and I look forward to my monthly visits. Its money well spent and worth every penny.

Such a great place! I bought 2 packages for my mother-in-law and myself at a discount. My therapist was amazing. He emphasized on the parts that Ive had a lot of tension in the most. He made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed. When he was done he gave me pointers on how to ease the knots out since they were so bad. The whole facility was clean and sanitized. The decor was beautiful and peaceful. I will be visiting once a month since its priced reasonably and the therapists are phenomenal. You wont be disappointed.

I would give it a 10 if I could! I love the way it’s decorated, takes me to the beach which is where I love to be!! Sally is the sweetest lady and the best at what she does!! I have really bad feet due to several broken bones throughout my life. I had no idea I could hold stress in my feet!! I went for my birthday in January and when I left that day I signed up for the VIP members club! That’s how awesome her foot massage is! I’ve always had to wear special shoes and house shoes year round…I’ve been getting around so much better and barefoot which is not something I get to do often!!! Thank you Sally!!! ❤️❤️

He listened to what I needed. Made me feel super important. He’s kind, professional, funny. He’s good at his craft! He specializes in deep tissue techniques. If you HAVENT gotten a deep tissue from Sam, you should go. Now.What are you waiting for?

I saw Kesslie for a facial. She created a professional yet relaxing atmosphere. Each step of the process was explained in an easy to understand way. My skin is super soft now, and it feels great.

I had the worst massage ever during my visit today at Island Spa. Yes, I know I am giving them a 5 star review. I have never in my 47 years on this earth, had an owner of a business hear about how horrible my experience was and offer to come to my home and give me a massage herself. That to me shows pride in her business and true customer service!I will definitely be giving Island Spa another opportunity to make it right and I appreciate that Sally will go above and beyond for her customers.

I had the foot detox (gross), a scalp massage, and a Swedish/hot stone massage with Samuel. I work about 70 hours a week, so not a lot of time to relax. Samuel did a great job working out some of the knots in my neck and shoulders. We still have a lot to do LOL, but I feel so much better now!

My son goes there and my 3 childern purchased a deep tissue massage facial mask and peppermint scalp massage for my birthday and I loved the experience. Cynthia was great. Very relaxing and I really felt like I had a massage when I left. My husband is going to go for a massage also. We will probably go for a couples massage also.

Sally and her staff were amazing! My mom and I went in. Mom is 75 and has sciatica issues, Sally was so easy and worked to keep from hurting her. Well fast forward 5 yrs now! Sally has brought her vision to life! Island massage is now a beautiful, luxurious NEW SPA. Great attention to every detail! You have to go and see for yourself, its amazing! Great location, but easy to over look. Its one 1/2 a blk off of Renfro and one block off of 174, so it nice and quite. Island Massage is a full service Spa! Sally gave me a great massage tonight. Following my massage, I got a facial from Patrica. Patrica gave me the best facial I have ever had! Looking forward to next time!

I would highly recommend that you take 1 hour out of your month and treat yourself. It is going to be worth it, they are very responsible and offer many services to all. Seriously stop in you wont regret it.

They were so friendly and the place was so clean. The massage was great and we had the added bonus of good conversation. Will definitely travel the 22 miles again in the future to return for another massage.

I booked a couples massage at this place and meant to put a review sooner but got busy. I personally would not come back here. When my wife and I entered the place seemed clean, nice and cute. We went to the counter said we had a reservation the lady said ok, I said this is our first time here. We even upgraded our massage while at the counter. The lady said you pay upfront, I said ok I’m not used to that I always pay at the end other places. Then she said would you like to tip 20%? I said huh? I said no ma’am I always tip at the end, is that not ok? She said well it’d be easier to do it now. My wife said that’s not really how tipping works, so the lady agreed to wait until we were done. We went in the waiting area and didn’t wait long. They took us to the back couples room. My wife had a male and I had a female. The area was clean and it seemed nice. They left and let us get on the massage tables, they came back in and didn’t ask us how we preferred our massage or areas to focus on or anything. Which was odd to us and not how we’re used to getting massages. Then the building itself is an older building with old wood floors. All we could hear was the floors making awful noises every-time they moved around the massage table. It was so loud my wife started laughing because there was no way for it to be relaxing. I would strongly suggest they look into fixing their squeaky floors some how. The. 2 that we had that did the massages, were honestly not good at all and I hate saying that. But all they really did was put lotion in their hands and just lightly rub our backs. It was really odd, almost like they had no idea how to give a massage. They didn’t touch our heads at all, we usually have our necks and heads rubbed. It was just all together very odd. My wife and I frequently get massages, so for Valentines Day we will be getting massages again and we wouldn’t recommend coming here. It just wasn’t for us at all. When we left I did go back to the register and I still left a 20% tip, but I can’t see us coming back here. For the price you pay for a massage it just left us disappointed.

My regular massage therapist retired and Tuesday I was desperate. I was hurting from a day of yard work. I called a chain first that a friend had referred and after being hung up on and calling back and then being placed on hold for 15 min. My boyfriend recommended me looking for another place. I AM SO GLAD I DID. Booking an appointment was so easy and they had appointments open the next day. I always do deep tissue and Misty was AMAZING and didn’t disappoint! I signed up for a membership and am super excited that it’s in town and has extended hours to accommodate everyone’s schedule. Thank you Misty I am feeling like a new person this morning, and greatly appreciate your help!!!!!!

My husband had the pleasure of getting his first deep tissue massage from a young lady called Joy that works here. She did a wonderful job and we will continue to get massages from her. She was clean, professional, and dang good at what she does. Thank you Joy, we will be back to see you real soon.

Reyann (I hope I spelled that correctly) is AMAZING. my back, my shoulders, she worked wonders. Im a full time caregiver to my extra support need twins after 10 years in the hair industry and she knew exactly where to focus. It was very clean here and smelled amazing. If you need to get away and relax, this is the place. Ask for the winter escape package and ask for Reyann. You will not regret it.

I went here in extreme pain, I could barely walk or bend over. Jenn was very good. By the time she was done I was able to stand up straight and bend over to tie my shoes. Very clean, nice beds, and friendly staff. Im scheduled again next week.

I’ve had a number of massages here, and I have always had a wonderful experience. From deep tissue to Swedish massage, its always a blessing to visit this place! Today I had a massage from Samuel that left me feeling like I was floating. (Might have even drooled a little from being SOOO relaxed on the table..) Oh man. Just had a massage with Misty, and it was awesome! She found all of my knots and really spent time on them. I feel so relaxed! The whole place is an island theme, and its really peaceful. They have these heated beds too, which makes it even more relaxing.

Very clean, great decor. Therapist was very good and really went above and beyond to work out knots on problem areas, and even finished up with some great stretches. Pricing is excellent and theres no upcharge for a deep tissue massage! You can get an hour and a half massage here for what youd pay for an hour anywhere else.

I love my monthly me time 💆🏼‍♀️. Everyone is so nice and Will knows my “spots” that need attention. He works hard to help me feel better and keep me functioning my best. I highly recommend Island Massage and Will.

The PLACE to have a massage in Burleson, TX. I loved the place from the first visit, very cool island decor with beach house vibes. The special things that Sally and the therapists do are great, calm colors, heated tables, and I didnt hear street noise at all! Very relaxing and healing! Great prices and well worth the visit. My new favorite!UPDATE: 2 Years and I still LOVE this place. The massages are excellent and the atmosphere is calming and very BEACH. Love and recommend it!!!

This is my second massage here at Island Massage. This time William was my massage therapist. He was phenomenal. I actually almost feel asleep several times...which never happens. He was thourough and knew when to apply more pressure and when not to apply as much. I said very little the entire 90 minutes. I just relaxed and let him use his gift of touch. I highly recommend William and Anna.

Me experience at Island Message was fantastic. William was able to target the areas of tightness I have been struggling with and work these areas out. Went for help with a 3 day headache, scheduled a deep tissue massage with Anna.. and OMG... i was sore the next day due to how tight my muscles were and how hard she had to work but once the soreness wore off i felt amazing. The headache was gone and i was able to function. I had no idea a massage could help as much as it did. That was my first e deep tissue massage for a migraine and i HIGHLY recommend Anna. She is fantastic and now she has a client for life. I plan to make weekly visits but only with her. Thank you so much Anna!!

Dont go to Misti.... she is uhhhhhmazing! I need her to be available at all times :) she worked out some really bad stress knots and does a great job! Very clean, great wave sounds with soft piano. Lighting perfect and relaxing. Excellent pricing and found my go to person! Thank you!

The place is cute. Staff was nice. My therapist was friendly & nice but the massage itself was awful.... I arrived 10 minutes early to my appt. The therapist was 15 minutes late so I waited 25 minutes to be put into my room which ate up time for my massage. Quickly got undressed & waited another 10 minutes for the therapist to finally come back. When My massage did start, it was half hour past My appt time. My session was supposed to be 90 minutes but ended up being only 65 minutes. The massage was rough & choppy. No flowing energy or movement. I specifically asked for back, hips, hands & feet... Hands werent massaged just briefly compressed for a couple of minutes. Feet were only massaged a few minutes & it wasnt thorough, mostly pulling & not even toe massage. I specifically asked for extra attention on feet & hands. They hurt to begin with & felt the same as I left. The back massage was fast paced, somewhat painful & jumping from one side to the other back & forth... A lot of trigger point, which was just plain annoying. Just wanted a fluid like relaxing massage. She spent more time moving back & forth from side to side than she did in one spot & keeping contact with my body. I didnt know where She was half the time. She didnt listen to what I specifically requested & did the massage that she wanted cause she felt thats what I needed. I needed relaxation & pain relief but ended up stressed, annoyed & uncomfortable. It was disappointing. She initiated a lot of conversation throughout the massage & all I wanted was to zone out & relax.... The massage therapist was nice & Im sure a decent therapist but for me, she was choppy, mechanical & wasted a lot of the time that I paid for. She just wasnt for me. If youre going to be in this industry then you need to connect, take your time & actually listen to your client, not just with your ears but with your intuition as well. So disappointed. 😢

Talked to the owner on the phone it was my first time there. I asked for the normal 60 minute Swedish relaxing massage that the owner said was full body with scalp massage and feet included And hot towels the man who did my massage did none of what was mentioned and just rubbed my back and thighs and that was all. I’m extremely disappointed that I had to pay 65$ and couldn’t even talk to the owner because she was busy. Will not be going back.

This place has literally been a staple for me since I moved to DFW. I have always had horrible back pain and inflammation and Sally immediately took me under her wing and did everything she could to help me get better. They truly go above and beyond and are beyond worth the investment in your own happiness.

Sally is a friend. I hadn’t been to see her yet, and she recognized I had tension in my neck and shoulders. Even after 10 minutes I could feel a dramatic difference. I had no idea my neck was so tense but it was obvious after the appointment. I compare it to putting on glasses for the first time and realizing how little you could see previously. I am the type to be very nervous about people touching me. Sally and her team made the whole process easy and quite relaxing.
