Ivy Spa Massage

UPDATE: I am updating and adding stars solely based on the spas customer service. They called me and offered for me to come back so they could do some kind of therapy for my pain but I live two hours away and had already left town so that was not an option for me. They also offered to refund me, which I declined because I felt guilty accepting it. It was partially my fault for not speaking up during the massage. I appreciate their efforts to fix the issue.However, this could have been avoided if the spa had better communication with me beforehand and I hope they make improvements going forward. If you still decide to go here, I would suggest talking with your masseuse before the massage starts and explaining your preferences, and maybe you will have a better experience than me.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I came here for a couples massage because the reviews looked decent and the price wasn’t bad. We arrived about 15 minutes early but it was a while before anyone came to the front to check us in. They were nice though and I understand it can get busy so that didn’t affect my experience so much.They told us to undress and get under the blankets, and the massage therapists came right in and started without asking us any questions about where our pain is, areas to avoid, and didn’t even give us their names. The massage itself was probably the worst I’ve gotten, she just kept pressing up and down my body without really focusing anywhere. She also put hard pressure directly on my spine (which should NEVER be done) and I was in severe pain last night from it. My spine still hurts the next day. I am honestly wondering if they were even licensed because no real masseuse would ever massage directly on the spine.I still paid and tipped but I’m in severe pain now and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Got the foot and body combo and felt so relaxed the rest of the day. My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our massages. Perfect addition to our vacation.

My wife loves this place. Been here 3 times in 2 days on our vacation. She swears the girl Coco is the best ever. Cute place and everyone seems nice. This shop has parking located in the back and is located near many other businesses, it makes a good walk for window shopping or if your waiting for a loved one getting a massage.

I have back pain and tight shoulders, I try lots of different spa , but this is the one really help with the problems.The massage therapist is very nice and professional, the place is clean and relaxing, 100% recommended worth the prices !

Everything about Ivy Spa speaks Quality... The physical spa is immaculate and quiet with tasteful and relaxing music. I have been there about ten times in the past 8 months or so and my massages have all been wonderful. All 3 of the masseuses there are very highly trained and knowledgeable about anatomy and common orthopedic and nerve problems. Just tell them if youre having an issue and theyll know how to address it. Very highly recommend!

I’m on vacation this week and passed by this massage shop. Then I wanna have a try to relieve my pain. The service is outstanding. Reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit.

Coco provides the best massages and I now go twice a month. The atmosphere is casual, relaxing and comfortable. Highly recommend.

My massage was amazing. This is a No Frills and no fluff experience. Just a deep, well executed, and intense massage. Facility was clean and well kept. Communicated through text about setting up an appointment and was responded to very promptly and in a friendly manner. No complaints about my experience.

I went yesterday evening to get a message thinking it was 65 dollars and the lady surprised me at the end of the message saying it was 75 dollars. She did a great job on me. However wish shed been a little more honest about the price. I tipped her very well. I think she was afraid I would not tip her. Oh well honesty is the best policy. This is not my 1st choice where I go to get a massage. I use this place as my 2nd choice. I have a place where I normally go but they were completely busy. In the end honesty is the best policy. This is why they got 4 stars instead of a 5.

Fixed my low back pain! I was having pain in my lower back and Emilie was able to locate the issue and fix it. Ive seen gone back for follow up and they have been the best massages Ive ever had. The shop is super clean and professionally decorated. The staff is very polite and helpful . And the prices are reasonable. The location convenient. I love this place!

Hi I have been going to Ivy Spa for a couple of months and every time I go there Michelle is very good with the massage. I have back pain and Michelle is excellent and what she does. I would definitely recommend my family and co workers go there because she knows what she is doing. Thank you Michelle.

This place is top notch. I love Michell’s intuition and knowledge of the muscles, tendons and fascia. Really a good value. Highly recommended. Swedish is also good!

Hands down best massage I have ever had. I get deep-tissue, therapeutic massages and have never been so satisfied in 15 years of trying different masseuses than I was with Michelle yesterday. She listened and did exactly what I needed, performed techniques that were new to me, and put more effort into our appointment than I was expecting. Above and beyond!

I went about 6 weeks post-op of a shoulder surgery and they were very helpful and understanding of my shoulder; I also went on Valentines Day and they were very sweet and gave me a rose as I was paying. Very careful and professional care, great massages too! Definitely recommend!
