Massage Envy

Massages should be relaxing and peaceful. Although the massage was good in itself, the masseuse was engaged in a conversation the entire time even after I decided not to respond. It was not a pleasant experience.

My wife scheduled an appointment for Friday afternoon. A few days before the appointment we received an email that it was canceled. My wife called to make sure the email was correct. She was told that it was a mistake and she was scheduled for a massage. She planned her day around the massage drove to the massage and was told it was canceled they said whoever told her that it wasnt whats wrong, so she had to drive home. She planned her whole day around the massage, handmade round-trip drive. This massage was a birthday gift for her 75th birthday she was broken hearted. No offer of compensation was given, and when I called and asked what would happen if she had not showed up for a scheduled massage they told me we would be charged for the entire amount.

If a massage therapist is sick please don’t work (I got covid from this location). I know this because I hadn’t gone anywhere except this location for weeks and live alone. I would rather have had my appointment cancelled unlike the other posts.

Great massage! Easy and convenient to schedule. The 90 minute is the way to go!

**I DO NOT RECOMMEND**Took my mother in for a an hour session - we arrived roughly 10 minutes late. Was told either pay for 50% of the hour or use the remaining time. Here’s the issue, we decided to use the remaining time, I paid with tip upfront, the massage ended 10 minutes early. I tipped for a 30 minute massage… this turned out to be a $3 per minute massage - terrible value & extremely poor resolution engagement.

I have been going here for the past year almost getting massages and facials about once a month. Love love! Staff is so pleasantly kind and the best customer service each and every time I arrive. My go to for massages is always Katrina, she is absolutely fantastic, I recommend her always! My go to for facials is always Melanie, she as well is wonderful! My skin is always glowing for days after my facials.Thank you guys!! :)

If you’re interested in booking do not hesitate to call at this location! They have personable and caring staff! If you are looking for a provider it has to be Sarah. She is friendly and loves what she does which makes the experience better! Sarah is professional and gives helpful recommendations to better the way you feel during and after appointments! I look forward to my appointments and leave looking forward to the next! Thank you Sarah! She is a valuable asset to the South Chandler location!

My mother got me in for a prenatal massage almost a year ago. it was great! i just went back and it was even better. Tiara at the front is so nice, knowledgeable and patient. plus my massage and facial were wonderful!!

There are much better Massage Envys in the Valley. Go elsewhere. The management is miserable to work with. I stopped using that facility over a year ago for another of their facilities. Would they change my membership home - no. When I cancelled, they refused to stop my next service charge from going through even though I called 5 days in advance. Apparently driving over a hour each way to the clinic becoming a financial burden is a valid reason to cancel but not valid to not charge me one last month for services I wont use at a poorly managed facility. The level of rudeness makes me wonder how they stay open.

My dad passed away and I transferred his PREPAID credits to mine and my sisters name and we had a year to use. I was pregnant for half of the year so I couldn’t use mine right away and then I finally got a sitter to be able to. Well they EXPIRE after you paid? Strange I’d say. Anyways they never told me once that they expire and I had scheduled my first appointment with them, mind you I had a sitter scheduled so I was on my way and then they canceled ONE HOUR before my appointment. Never once did they try and give me anything for it but they expect you to pay for your service if you cancel..? Anyways I had to cancel my last appointment to use up my last credits due to a personal problem and the next day I can get in was 5 days after the expiration date and they will not at all let me use my credit or anything.. they were pre paid for by my FATHER WHO PASSED AWAY.. like I’mScheduling it in the time frame of the expiration date and it’s 5 days past.. just incredibly rude. The way the handles it was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I have many people that use to go here and WILLNEVER go back.

Jose was awesome. I would recommend him to everyone. He is very knowledgeable. He is a great asset there at massage envy. I also loved working with sharita, she did a great job and super sweet.

The guy who runs this place is welcoming, hard working and always leaves you with the feeling of good energy.Katrina is the therapist I visit with. She is knowledgeable and skilled at what she does.Don’t be surprised if you have to wait a month or two, to book with her. Well worth the wait.You’re welcome and enjoy!

I used to be a deep massage junkie when I was younger…but since a car accident I really need the relief when I’m between Chiropractor visits and Jose is the best I have tried (5+ different therapists in the last month). His knowledge and work far exceeded my expectations and I’m relieved I have finally found the right therapist for me. Highly recommend!!!

I cancelled my membership in the Fulton Ranch, Chandler location in August. I completed all the paperwork and was told by the staff at the front desk that there would be no more charges to my account. One month later the monthly charge posted to my visa card. I went into the Fulton Ranch location again and was told that my paperwork had been lost. They asked me to complete the paperwork again and that the manager would be back in on Sunday. I called the manager on Sunday and was told that she was on vacation when I cancelled and the person in charge at the time lost my paperwork. She said I would not receive a refund for the month and that I needed to complete the paperwork again. She thought that giving me an additional 60 days to use my credit for the month that I had cancelled would be enough to makeup for her staffs mistake and the fact that they charged an additional month and lost my paperwork. I told her I wanted a refund instead but she said the terms and conditions of the contract state you need to cancel one month in advance. I reminded her that I did cancel in time but her staff didnt do their job. She said there is nothing she could do about it. This is absolutely the worst Manager with no management skills and zero customer service experience. I do not recommend this location.

My therapist Nathan never disappoints but the General Manager, Torrey Woods, has been the absolute best. He is extremely attentive, quick to help and ultra professional. In addition, without solicitation, he donated two massages to a very worthy cause at my work. That kindness is rare and he has earned a fan. Thank you all.

All of the staff have been very friendly, helpful, professional and kind. Everyone there has also provided prompt follow up on any inquiries too. The manager has personally reached out to inquire on my satisfaction on several occasions and thanked us for our patronage. Jose and Lewanda are two of the massage therapists that we highly recommend! Thank you for taking such great care of our family!

Massage envy has always been a huge let down, prior to my appointment at another location I was booked for a 90 min service and when I showed up to my appointment I was informed I would only have time for an 50 min due to them over booking. Now today I was informed due to unforeseen circumstances they had to cancel one of the two appointments we had booked and couldn’t offer us anything that was accommodating to us other than days later and only afternoon appointments. Massage envy you will not ever have my trust again nor will I recommend anyone to your locations!

BEWARE!!! The man at the front desk will LIE about the price of your massage so you’ll sign up for a membership. He is extremely aggressive and manipulative. Go to a different location if you can!

Never had a bad massage at this location, but they have cancelled on me 6 times inside of 4 hours and today within 50 minutes of the appointment. It’s worth noting that they charge the customer full price for a cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment, if they cancel on you, they offer their apologies, offer to reschedule and cancel again. Haven’t experienced this issue anywhere else except the Fulton Ranch location.

Very nice therapist. She did a great job with making sure I was comfortable. She made sure I was always covered.Her pressure was not consistent.Regarding her customer service she was amazingRegarding the massage for me I just need a little bit more of medium pressure.

Where do I begin, this was my first time ever at massage envy. Im not going to lie, not a fan of chain massage companys but since I received a gift card for my birthday I came by.From the very beginning when I walked in I was welcomed with a big smile from a young gentleman by the name of John Adams. He introduced himself, asked me about my day and just had amazing customer service! I was very impressed, hard to find great talent and employees with such passion nowadays! On the way out he did an excellent job of providing me options and what a membership looks like at massage envy in a very non pushy way (I hate when companys force their employees to be pushy) it was very informative. I was so impressed I wanted to hire this guy and bring him on to my team. Great asset you have here Manager!I was greeted by my therapist, Andre. He walks me to my room and starts asking many questions to really understand what he needed to work on. Extremely professional and excellent skills. The pressure was spot on and I felt instant release on my upper back. I am a body builder and work in an office so being ableTo receive instant pressure was great. My body felt amazing!!I highly recommend everyone see Andre, the man has skills!

Lisa B has done my facials for years. She’s amazing and I leave each visit with glowing skin!!!! I love her and cannot imagine a month of not seeing her! I leave totally relaxed and always looking forward to my next visit with her. ❤️

Love love love coming here not only because Im getting a relaxing massage but the atmosphere and the staff are amazing! They always make you feel welcomed and valued. Ive been going once a month for the past 5months for prenatal massages, definitely worth it! Leah is awesome, shes so calming and listens to what I need to make sure I feel better when I leave then when I got there.

Benito is amazing as a massage therapist. He is able to really work out my knots and helps improve my quality of life. He delivers one of the best massages you could hope for - I will be coming back and asking for Benito specifically - he is that good!

Worst experience ever. i was so excited for my first massage, got there early like they asked, wore a mask, was talking to front desk lady, who was assistant manager, about packages and even about signing up, was super nice filled out all my forms, until i waited 40 mins for her to just to tell me my massage therapist has not even shown up yet. why couldn’t you have called me earlier and tell me this if she missed her other appointments earlier ? i’m very confused at the poor communication all around. and they didn’t even offer anything they just said to reschedule. very upset.

Katrina at Massage Envy - South Chandler is the best! She goes above and beyond to make sure she addresses your needs. She is friendly and warm, and I felt like she worked out the majority of the knots that were causing pain for me, and I came out of the massage relaxed and refreshed. She also provided helpful tips to maintain in between sessions. She really cares about her clients and their progress!

Things have defiantly changed sense the negative comments were written. Everyone here is super nice. My first massage at this location was with someone who needed a little bit more training. I was honest about everything in the survey and within a few days received a very nice e-mail from the manager addressing my concerns and letting me know she would be receiving additional training. My next massage at this location was the best I have had with about a year of being with massage envy. The customer service here is really good.

My LMT Katrina was just what I needed. She listened to my needs and provided an excellent massage. Throughout the session she made sure the pressure was comfortable for me. Great communication and service overall.

I had an excellent session with Katrina. She spent extra time during my session on a tight spot in my neck that had been causing headaches. Im happy to say that I dont have a headache today for the first time in a week!

I have been going to see my therapist Jose for what feels to be close to a year now and I cannot begin to explain how happy I have been with my massages. I get massages often and go have gone regularly for many years, so I am very picky. Jose was recommended to me by a front office staff member after I expressed that I am not new to this industry and really need an experienced therapist who knows what they are doing. I have never seen anyone but Jose because I felt no need to try anyone else. I have referred many family and friends to this location since to see Jose, or whoever fits their needs, and they as well have not changed from seeing Jose either. He is very therapeutic and comes from a background of chiropractic care and it shows. Thanks Jose for always being amazing and taking such great care of my family and friends!

Melanie offers the quiet atmosphere most enjoyed during a facial. No chitchat and no constantly pushing products during my facial. She asked if I was happy with my current regime and products & if I wanted any help or advice. I cannot stress how much I enjoyed not paying top money for an hour long infomercial! Too many spas pressure you to buy their products during your treatment. She also did not just sit back during the applications of masks but would massage my scalp or hands.

Benito is amazing! Very personable and comfortable to be around. He does an amazing job digging deep and getting out pesky knots! My husband and I love him!

I decided to start getting facials to help my aging skin look better. Melanie asked me what my skincare goals were for my facial. After my first session I am hooked. My skin has never looked and felt better. I loved the products she used so much that I went back several days later to purchase the JanMarini line. I just got my second facial yesterday and could not be more satisfied. I added the foot scrub treatment. I would highly recommend Melanie for all your skincare needs.

The employees are always happy and helpful. Lawanda is one of the best massage therapists who I have had the pleasure of being a client. She is attentive and thorough. I feel like buttah when I leave the salon.

Although I was so excited to be getting my first massage in forever, Viviana was very disengaged. She was over 15 mins late to begin with, and still stopped at the same time like she was not late. I also found her to be extremely preoccupied, and it just seemed like she really didnt want to be there. It almost felt like I was bothering her by being there to enjoy what was supposed to be 90 mins of awesome! My friend and I had booked together and we planned for months to make the time to do this happen. I have to say that I was quite disappointed even though so many people rave about their experience, I just did not have that positive outcome. After talking with my friend, and we compared experiences, hers was exponentially better than mine. This was a birthday gift, and she was upset that it didnt go better.

I have been going to Melanie for chemical peels, microderm infusion and facials for the past 6 months or so. She’s excellent. Her services get great results and are very relaxing. I have had many different aestheticians over the years and she’s definitely at the top of the list!

Bronwyn was great and very experienced -23 years. I love that she is also a retired nurse and appeared to really love her job. I was even more impressed that she is 73 years old and doesn’t look a day older than 60. Not that age matters, but Bron is definitely young heart and I liked this about her. She rocks!!

This is a great location with professional staff. Keily is the best therapist I have seen. Im a long distance runner and I see her monthly. She takes the time to understand my problem areas and also gives good suggestions for at home care to keep me running my best. Would rate the location 5 stars and give her a 6th if I could.

This Massage Envy location is always ecextremely clean, friendly and professional.There are locations closer to me but I will keep going to this one because of the overall vibe. Monthly membership is a great value!Justin has been my massage therapist for 18 months. He is very professional and skilled but even more than that, he knows my bodys issues and addresses the aches and pains perfectly. He also remembers personal details about my life and asks about family, movies, books etc. every visit. Justin needs to be cloned!

I always receive great treatment from Nathan and rate him 5 stars. But I have issues with ME. I joined with the expectation of gifting as many visit credits as I’d like because I don’t use massages often. The salesperson said I could do that. When I started gifting visits to my fiancée, I was then told I could only gift a person every 6 months. That policy reversal defeated the purpose of a membership for me.I give ME 1 star and Nathan 5 stars to average out to 3 stars.

I loved my massage. I will definitely schedule with Lawanda again.I was very disappointed in the lack of service for customers. Saying that you cannot provide a client with a drink of water due to covid is absurd. I have not been told that in ANY open establishment. It is unacceptable in my mind.

I went in for deep tissue massage and literally got what I asked for from Eduardo! He did fantastic. It was well worth the pain to get the old deep knots out! Already scheduled for next month!

Sharon was great and she always relieves my stress with the massages. She is the to go to person when I make my appointments She is phenomenal.

If you have injuries or aches and pains, especially from sports I highly recommend you go see Jose. He is AMAZING at everything from trigger point modalities to relaxing massage. I work out often and also sit at a desk for long periods of time at work. My neck and back are always extremely tight. After seeing Jose I feel like a new person! I can sleep better and the pain is gone. Ive gotten deep tissue massage from other therapist all my adult life and would be bruised afterward. I have never had one bruise from my massages with Jose. He is the only therapist I will go to now! Thanks Jose!!!

I have been a member of Massage Envy Fulton Ranch for 9 years and have been very happy with their services. Most all of the therapists that have served me there have been very excellent. The most recent therapist I have met is Jose Valencia. He is a very caring therapist and has a knack for knowing what your body needs. He follows through on meeting that need with the degree of firmness that you can tolerate. He has excellent knowledge of the anatomy of the human body. Jose has helped me tremendously through pre-op and post-op spinal surgery. I have been very satisfied with Massage Envy Fulton Ranch and the therapists for the past nine years. When I have been away from Chandler, Arizona, I have found other good therapists at other Massage Envy Locations. I am very glad to have discovered Massage Envy

SARAH S. is excellent again... she knows how to follow the pain and pressure point out the knots...Uses hot, relaxing moisturized heat pads. love it. Knows a lot about the body connective tissues and muscle connections.. Very knowledgeable.

Sharoon is an excellent massage therapist and my body was full of aches and pain, and she did wonders in relieving all aches and pain. Vince, the hidden gem at Massage Envy Fulton Ranch Chandler. First, a little background.After a bad experience at the 7th street and Bell location, I wasnt to sure of the quality of service Message Envy offer.I was asked to give this location a try.Young ladies at the front was friendly and helpful.Vince greeted me in the waiting room, professional with a calming demeanor.I prefer a firm pressure in certain areas. Vince has wonderful technique, and he applied the perfect amount of pressure throughout my massage.All-in-all Vince has powerful hands and listens. I look forward to my next massage.

Had a appointment for a couples massage . Got there handed us a tablet and the receptionist tells us that the massage therapist isnt there yet and doesnt know when he will be there. Why I am mad is that we didnt even get a call to tell us he isnt going to be there on time and you let us come all the way there without a call . You need to think about your customers and how their experience is going to be . Havent been to a massage envy in awhile and wont be going there ever again . Thank goodness for elements down the street !

I have been a Massage Envy member for 5 plus years... and most locations are great. This location provides great services, but upsells way too much. In my most recent visit, I brought a relative and expected to use a prepaid but was told AFTER the service that the cost would be $95. Just beware when going here that you should be very clear on the pricing of your service.

Everyone was very professional during my visit. Benito is a wonderful massage therapist. He listened to what issues I had and made sure he addressed them.

Love the place and the front desk worker I can’t remember her name but she’s super helpful and very bright and happy. I felt my massage person could have been a bit more helpful and friendly but other than that it was a great experience and I will go back but i’ll see a different person!

I was about to cancel my membership but my experience with Lawanda changed my mind and recommitted me to Massage Envy. Professional, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. The massage was perfect blend between relaxing and “work ish out”-ness.

I asked Melanie for a “relaxation facial.” It was the best facial I have ever had. I felt so relaxed and peaceful. I will definitely go to her again and I highly recommend her!

Visiting from MN, I scheduled a massage and it was quite lovely. Schroom was professional and provided an excellent overall body massage. My neck needed additional manipulation due to soreness and left feeling relaxed and ache free.

Front office staff extremely friendly and helpful. I had a male massage therapist this time and he was excellent. I will be going back again in the future

Heather is amazing and is willing to work with you on how much pressure is best. The entire staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. I recently moved and I will drive the 30 minutes just to see her and the staff at Massage Envy Fulton Ranch!

My sister recommended that I see Jose. I am an avid runner and had serious tightness in my hips and hamstrings. The trigger point massage was exactly what I needed! Jose was FABULOUS! I wish he lived in Boston so I could see him every week.

I was running a little late and they were nice about it and I still got my full treatment. The therapist was professional and knowledgeable. He made me comfortable and was really good at what he does

From earlier good reviews I chose this location. I had some time to kill before my flight and needed to relax. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. I had Rick as my masseuse and he made me feel very comfortable asked questions, confirmed what I put on the paper. He was gentle. I noticed that I wasnt getting the aromatherapy oils I also asked , which I asked him about and he promptly went to find out why he wasnt informed of my choice. He apologized , which he didnt have to. It was the front desk who didnt inform him. He also said they were saying I didnt ask or tell them. Which I feel I dont need to especially if when I called I told them and it should have been on my appt. That is why I knocked off one star. Other then that minor hiccup. I had a wonderful relaxing time. Ill come to this location again next time Im in Arizona.

The massage I received was less than 30 minutes, the quality was mediocre and the manager Paula puts clients who would like to end their membership through hell! Would NEVER recommend massage envy or this specific location to my best friend.. or even worst enemy. Please upgrade your management! Maria is known to be the only reason why some customers stay.

My esthetician Jessica is amazing. I have been seeing her for over a year and cant ask for a better one. She is right on the money for skin care products she recommends to me. She also knows when I just need to relax and get my facial after a stressful day at work. last few times I wasnt able to get her as she wasnt working when I normally have seen her in the past. I almost stopped going because the esthetician kept talking about skin care products I used when i just wanted to relax. Going back in another two weeks now I know her schedule. I highly recommend Jessica for anyone wanting a quality facial who fits the needs of her cutomers

Benito G is the best at Massage Envy! I usually have very tight IT bands, quads, and hamstrings which cause pain and discomfort in my knees. Today, Benito used percussion before my massage. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!. My legs and glutes are the loosest they have every been. Benito did not to have to spend as much time on massaging my lower body, so I was able to get a full body message!I highly recommend Benito and percussion

The massage therapists are great... but I gave them a credit card I havent used in a while... Next day I had a bunch of charges for hotwire and priceline along with declined purchases for gas and other items. That kinda narrows it down to who swiped my card info... Maybe if I had used that card in the past few months it would have been more ambiguous... But...

My husband just started seeing Jose for massages. He is recovering from a stroke and Jose is trying to help him use his right side more efficiently. We are hoping for long term, positive results.

Jose is the master massage therapist! I came in feeling a wreck- horrible headache and leftFeeling revitalized and headache gone!!!! Can’t say enough great things about him!

Benito was fantastic and great about explaining all that he was doing throughout the appt. He also mentioned how stretching works and I my add to my next massage appt.

The massage I recieve was the most aweful experience I had, as far as the massage goes. I was at the massage envy last week, and someone name Lynsay gave me a massage. From the start, I noticed there was a problem. She asked to me get on the table, and left the room. Normally massage therapist steps outside and in few min knocks on the door to see if I am ready. Lynsay was gone for 10 min, while I am having to keep calling for her in an attempt to summon her. As soon as she entered I noticed that she was sick, as I can hear her runny nose. When she touched me, her hands were icy cold and hard as a rock. It was obvious from the beginning that Lynsay was sick and was not feeling well. What I should have done was to immediately stop the massage and leave, but I did not want to make a fuss and embarrass her. The whole massage sesson was very unplesant. I felp traumatized by her cold and hard hands. I was also concerned that I may catch cold from her. Massage envy sent me an email evaluation and I took time to dilligently fill out the form with my feedback. My main message to Massage Envy is to re-evaluate their scheduling policy. I question whether it is appropriate for a massage therapy establishment to schedule a therapist who is obiviously sick and may well be contgious. I took time to fill out a polite suggestion. Massage Envy customer feedback email asked whether I wanted to be contacted. I said yes, and left my phone number. Its been a week, and no one has contacted me. I dont really care as I no longer have interest in returning to the establishment, due to poor service and very questionable scheduling practice. I hope others who may read this and may be presented with a massage therapist whois OBVIOUSLY sick would do better than me, by speaking up at the moment and refuse the massage right on the spot. Belive me the lingering feeling that someone who has runny nose and is struggling to hold in their cough as they touch your bare body should alarm you of the possible negative experience and the contagion you are being introduced to.

I was hoping to get some of the tension relief, but did not get that. I left with the same pain even with 90 min massage. I was disappointed and I felt like I wasted my money on this massage.Recommendation - try to massage the tension out rather than just putting pressure point on it.

Not the best massage Ive ever had, not the worst. I didnt like the hard sell aspect of the place and was unimpressed with what they call a spa environment. This isnt a spa, its just a place to get a massage or a facial but no real SPA feel to it.

Benito is a fantastic deep tissue massage therapist.He nails the trigger points for a great release and high quality massage.

It was a lighter massage than I had expected. I was disappointed that she did not spend more time on my legs, which is the area I had asked for. She spent a long time on my back instead the legs ( and secondary ask neck).
