Woodhouse Spa - SouthPark

Woodhouse is my new go-to for any spa treatment or a day of relaxation. They SAVED me last minute when I realized I had booked an appointment for my best friend’s birthday at another spa out of town, whose reviews led me to believe we were not going to be having the experience I was signed up for. The day before my friend’s birthday, I called, panicked, trying to rearrange plans last minute and ensure a special celebration. Syd was extremely helpful and carefully went through my options for what they still had available and how we could book services for both of us at the same time. I immediately felt relieved and like we were in good hands to trust in our celebration.When we arrived the next day, we were kindly greeted and given a tour (by Naomi) of the gorgeous, cozy, and extremely clean space. We were instructed on how to change into VERY comfortable robes and had lockers to keep our belongings safe. Then we were guided to a quiet room to relax in before our services. I was totally blown away. They had a private room for us with two very nice chairs for lounging with soft blankets, a glass of champagne (or tea upon request) for each of us, a plate of snacks and desserts, a hydrangea in a vase, a happy birthday note for her, and cold fruit infused water. We relaxed until it was time for her facial and I did the sauna and the salt room back to back. Naomi guided me to the infrared sauna where I had plenty of towels and a sauna large enough to lay down which was amazing. Then I went to the salt room which was cool and very relaxing. The salt room has soft blankets and an anti-gravity chair that was super comfy!! My friend said her facial was also wonderful. We had the most special day. I’m so grateful for the service and extreme attention to detail that allowed us to fully relax and celebrate together. Thanks Syd for squeezing us in at a last minute notice!! I’ll definitely be back.

Everyone was so nice & accommodating. From the time we walked in we were greeted. The locker room was nice. Complimentary drinks in the quiet room. I had champagne and a mimosa. Both were great. My mil had a tea that she said was amazing. Did the hot stone massage by a lady name starts with an A. Amaya maybe I’m not sure. A little firm handed but I’m really sensitive. Rosi did my facial she was nice. I would have liked a little more in-depth facial opinion/scan as well to know all the stuff she put on my face but I suppose they rather you relax and keep talking to a minimum which i understand. Ended my day in the salt room which is an additional fee. All in all I would recommend and will return in the future . Thank you again

Woodhouse spa has finally arrived here in Charlotte & lived up to the hype . I went last week for a 50 minute deep tissue massage . Let me walk you through my experience. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile from the entire staff.I’m a fan solely because of the look of the spa from the wood doors & wood interior inside & out . I spent a good amount of time in the quiet room where you can relax before & after your services & you have the choice to indulge In mimosas, coffee & or tea while relaxing. My favorite is the Himalayan salt room here . Inside of Woodhouse spa you can also find extra well designed rooms to spend your time & sauna rooms. The only thing I would change is I wish my massage therapist just applied more pressure . I signed up for the deep tissue massage she was great but that’s the only thing I personally would have as any type of feedback so make sure you express that to your massage specialist.Making my way back here soon to treat myself to a facial.

My experience was amazing. Preston gave me my massage and was awesome, fabulous, and hands from God!!! I ended my spa day in the salt room, which was amazing for my allergies. Also the customer service top notch. I was late due to rain, accidents and 77, but there were soo accommodating despite my arrival time. I well def be returning!!! 10/10 highly recommend :)

I had such a beautiful experience from start to finish as the level of service here is unmatched. Rachel provided an exceptional and relaxing massage that I will be coming back for again. I booked a massage and a facial! From being greeted when i entered until i left i had a great experience. The staff was very polite. The facility is really clean and it feels calming! Christina did a great job on my massage and was good about relieving my tension areas and suggesting ways to prevent tightness. I love my facial with Rosi. She was really sweet and knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend!

OUTSTANDING!! My husband and I visited this spa to celebrate our 15th year anniversary and booked a couples massage. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted, welcomed and escorted to our perspective lockers. The place smells amazing and is very cozy inside. Our masseuse was also amazingly sweet and focused on our painful spots needing attention. We felt so special today from the entire staff as they recognized our anniversary. Amy was simply wonderful. She was so gentle & informative on everything from the products to the type of massage she was performing & how it would benefit. I loved my hydro facial & the ambiance was so relaxing. I could’ve fallen asleep in the relaxation room alone & the mimosas kept coming. I will definitely be coming back for a couples massage & more facials! I recommend making a day out of it so you do not feel you have to rush to get in or out(disclaimer: I never once felt rushed). Love love LOVE! My experience was wonderful! Booked a bday massage last minute and fully welcomed with smiles a pleasant atmosphere and a glass of Prosecco. My hot stone massage was great! Syd the receptionist was super nice and informative on facial recommendations on my next visit when I mentioned I want to come back soon to get a facial. Plus we are both vegan! When checking out I also received a gift! Already planning my day back SOON!Highly recommend!

Lina made my first experience at the spa absolutely amazing while Jake did so much needed a very relaxing massage. I enjoyed my first experience so much that I decided to come back and Lina helped me to book my next appointment. The atmosphere at the spa is ambient and relaxing and the staff is very professional and skilled.

This spa is beautiful, sparkly clean and has a wonderful vibe. My massage with Eugene was wonderful as he really listened to my needs. I wish I had received a facial, but they were all booked. The Spa Director Denise gives a special touch to your day, and Gracie at the front desk was pleasant answering all my questions. My only complaint is how busy the changing room is. I wish it was a little bigger as there were a lot of people in there. Otherwise, very well done new luxury spa in Charlotte 👍

I had an amazing hot stone massage with Regina on 3/2/24. The experience was amazing and the entire staff was so nice and hospitable. The spa itself is gorgeous and so relaxing. My friend had a massage with Eugene and commented it was her best massage ever. We then stayed an hour after our massages to relax and they made us feel so welcome. Spa director Denise was especially kind to me as I was on crutches and you can tell she really cares about her customers. I highly recommend Woodhouse Southpark if you are looking for a wonderful day of pampering - I will definitely be back!

I was so excited for Woodhouse Spa to open. I ended up getting a full body, deep tissue massage and added hot stones. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was definitely going to be amazing. The staff were so sweet and wanted to make sure that I had everything that I needed the whole time I was there. They said I could stay and relax before and after. I took advantage after my spa to relax and drink some delicious tea. I had an 80 minute massage done by Jake. He was amazing and made sure that the pressure was just perfect at all times. I would definitely recommend a massage from him. I want to go back and try a facial and do the salt room. Be ready to not want to ever take that robe off again in your life. It was seriously the most comfortable robe I think I’d ever worn. The only thing I wished was that the robe had were pockets. Just because I like to carry my inhaler with me at all times.

Nahimana was my esthetician for my facial it was an amazing luxury experience! She was very professional and knowledgeable! My skin has really been dry due to the cold weather. Nahimana addressed all my skin concerns. She made also sure I was comfortable and let me know which products were being used and the benefits which I really appreciated! OMG. Where do I even begin?! You walk in and immediately melt into luxury. The soothing aroma, the tasteful decor, the warm smiles at the front desk. I had the opportunity to experience the Shirodhara and was blown away by the hands of Eugene ( I swear he is a magician!). He was incredibly skilled, and as a gal who gets regular massage, I was so impressed by the strength of his hands and the finesse of his touch.I also had the opportunity to meet Leann, the owner, on my visit. I could not be more impressed by her as a professional AND on a personal level. She cares so deeply for the client experience and takes such pride in her staff being able to provide the most exceptional service.Hands down, I will be back! Everything was great and everybody is awesome! From the minute you walk in, the staff takes care of you so well! My deep tissue massage with Jake was so relaxing and much needed. Jona did amazing with my hydrafacial! She was super caring, so patient and explained everything thoroughly. My skin was glowing the minute I was done. There was a mix up of clients that left my husband waiting 30 minutes for his service alone in the relaxation room and myself waiting 30 minutes for my husband to finish his service when we were supposed to have our services done at the same time. This was very disappointing, especially since I didnt know about the mix up until after my service was complete. My massage was great, my husbands was so-so. Were from out of town and gave this place a chance off of reviews we seen online. I cant say well be returning.

They had reached out to me and my friend after learning about our experience and took the time to hear us out and provide a service recovery.—————-NOTE!!Not punctual.Not full body massages.Massage itself did not last for the indicated time.I really wanted to give this place a 5-star because it was such a beautiful, relaxing place, and the staff were extremely nice - unfortunately it gave me a great amount of stress as well.My timestamps are based on what I remember and when my messages were sent.Me and my friend are from out of state and was flying out at 6:30PM. We walked-in around noon to schedule a massage at 2PM. We left and showed up earlier (as recommended by the staff) to get ready. I was ready and brought to the lounge area by 1:47PM. The lounge area was great. Water, snacks, ambiance, complimentary drinks — loved it.A little after 2:15PM my friend got called in for her massage. I accidentally fell into a light sleep and woke up at 2:44PM. Nobody had called for me still. I went to get a staff’s attention to see what is going on because I don’t have much time and my friend is almost done already. The staff started scrambling and I heard her asking the therapist why has it been so long.At 2:54PM I am finally in the room.The Deep Tissue Massage: My therapist asked me where I would like her to target and I told her. I think she really did a great job focusing on the part I informed her about, but the other parts felt like a regular massage. I thought it was a full-body deep tissue massage with a bit more time spent on the requested part, but I guess it’s different here.I enjoyed the massage for the most part, but it is not as good as others that I’ve had before and I had missed my pedicure and rental car drop off time due to unexpected traffic that should have been avoided if we started our massages on time.Another set off was I paid for the 50 mins massage, but the massage itself was not 50 mins. I did not realize until my friend checked her timestamps and it did not add up for her. I had messaged her I am finally in at 2:54PM, add a few more mins for introduction and getting ready — massage most likely did not start until 3PM. I checked my phone as I was grabbing it at the end — 3:37PM.I’m not sure if the 50 mins was suppose to include the lounge time, but nothing adds up anyways since they were an hour late for my scheduled time. I received a message afterwards to leave a feedback for my 3PM appointment… I scheduled 2PM with my friend and showed up around 1:45PM. I left the building around or a little before 4PM.I did not complain or let management know of my disappointment with the timing, as nothing could make up for the lost time anyways and I certainly don’t have time to complain. I simply let them know everything was great. Not sure what management would have done as I didn’t even get an apology or explanation as to why I was forgotten.Hopefully this review will be helpful to future guests that are short on time and expecting an above average massage - this may not be it.There are positives as I mentioned, but the things that went wrong overshadowed all of it for me.

So glad Charlotte finally has one. Spent almost 3 hours there. Still unsure of the benefit of the salt room but its pretty and the chairs are comfortable.

The services in this location need 5 star but beware of theft in this place. My friends wallet got stolen. It was a not even a busy day. Hardly people were around on a late evening time. Highly disappointed!!

I’ve been into other wood houses and other spas. The staff here is real, kind and down to earth. The front desk was great. Any questions I had was answered. I enjoyed my massage. If I wasn’t moving across the country I’d be back. This place has a relaxing vibe not snobby like some other locations have felt.

The 50-minute Illuminate facial wasnt just a treatment; it was everything my skin needed. I absolutely love this place. It was my first visit on my birthday (June 12) I was in the VIP lounge and they did special accommodations for me. My therapist Kimbi was magnificent and I will definitely use her again. The atmosphere is peaceful, beautiful and the staff is amazing too. My new favorite spa place!
