Sidelines Sports Bar and Billiards

This is my go to sports bar. Very comfortable, welcoming and fun. Always greeted with a smile by all the bartenders. Ralph has always been exceptional. This place means so much to me!!! My partner and I come as often as we can.

This is an LGBTQ inclusive bar. So, this is like a calmer, a bit mature, older brother of the next door bar Argon. Both are owned by the same brothers actually. If you want a nice quite evening playing pool and chatting away then this is it. Drinks are great and bartenders even greater. This place had a membership and non members pay $ to enter. Has a patio and they also do not have any food. The host at the entry who checks ID and membership could use a bit of smile or maybe had a bad day? Idk . I liked this place and will be back. Decor is cozy too. Clean RR.

Found this LGBTQ sports bar when I was looking a for a billiards hall. Great spot and Kevin was very friendly. 4 10 pool tables and a small uncovered outdoor seating area. Worth checking out.

The bartender (believe his name was Kevin) was super sweet! Walked up to me and my husband when we walked in to ask if we wanted a drink or needed anything. The place was very cute in a dive bar sort of way, very calm, and the drinks were worth the price!

Looking for an LGBTQ friendly bar look no further. I usually visit Tuesdays after work and the atmosphere is always right. The bartender Bilal is very attentive and it’s always a pleasure to see him. The drinks are great and the overall experience will not disappoint!

My favorite go to LGBTQ bar! Friendly staff, good ambiance, convenient location, it checks all my boxes. I love that they play 70s, 80s, and 90s music, the sound level and lighting are just perfect. Its so nice to have a consistently enjoyable place to go to, plus the prices are very reasonable. Looking forward to returning.

Wanted a chill night after a long day of work and travel into Charlotte . this location was close to my hotel and it was a chill vibe . with four 10 pool tables , plenty of screens , darts , and strong drinks ... you really cant go wrong !the bartenders are friendly and i enjoyed their conversation too . ill definitely come back whenever i visit Queen city again .

Best gay bar in the area come as you please

No shade but the folks going here don’t like t-girls… the workers were super friendly and the bartenders were nice/okay but the people in the bar horrible experience me and my girls felt outcasted and we had someone purposely spill their drink on me and just give us nasty looks… definitely meant for gay men and straight girls… white at that… but love the workers mwahhh💕

I have Never been disappointed The bar tenders are the best...they remember everyones name from their first visit. The owner greets everyone with a generous smile and makes everyone feel at home, Jason is the best tender, ever...some days its really busy, others, not so,,,but you can always count on friendly smiles, making new friends and having fun.

Stayed at the Four Points and visited several times. The bartenders were amazing! Super friendly and introduced me to all the patrons. Will definitely come back on my next visit to Charlotte!

Visited Sidelines and Argon last night during my weekend trip to Charlotte, and Kevin (the owner) was so welcoming! Drink prices were affordable. Everything was clean, and the service was incredible! I had a new friend with me who had just moved to Charlotte. Kevin literally came out from behind the bar and walked him over to a great group of people to introduce them to each other. If that isnt hospitality at its finest, I dont know what is. I literally begged Kevin to open a spot in Charleston to free us from the one and only terrible choice we have here. I cant wait to return next time Im in town! Please support places like these that truly care about the lgbtq community!

Love it here, they treat you like family and your always welcome. The bartenders are awesome and inviting making sure you feel welcome. You cant go wrong here.

Amazingly friendly staff and clientele... as an out-of-towner I am never made to feel that way. Great fun for games (especially if the Panthers are in the Super Bowl). Good Happy Hour and better conversations... plus the clean restrooms are very appreciated.

Great bar and a great, friendly atmosphere. Kevin and the gang are always a lot of fun and treat everyone like they have known them forever. Four pool tables, darts, foosball and tons of flat screens are everywhere. We have a blast here every time we go and get the best customer service in town.

The best bar in Charlotte. The drinks are fantastic. The bar staff is great. The sports are on the tv and the pool tables are open. The drinks really were the best we had all night.

Sidelines is a LGBT sports bar with 4 pool tables available. They are not coin operated and you can buy a membership to this bar as well. Great atmosphere, bartenders and owner.

LGBTQ sports bar now 11 years old with pool tables, ample televisions, a great bar staff and terrific owners and customers. Next to it is Bar Argon, a LGBTQ dance bar, which us owned by the same owners as Sidelines and has the same welcoming ambiance.

Sidelines has hosted our rugby team for a decade now and theyve been nothing but accommodating for every event we hold there. Great prices, free pool, and awesome staff. Thank you, Sidelines team!

Local watering hole. Usually stop after bowling league on Monday nights. Great crowd of friendly people, great bar, and billiards and other games. Multiple screens throughout the bar. Cheers!
