Went here to see the band 100 gecs live. Had a blast! The show was great the venue was great and we had a great time!Parking wasnt bad for what it is, these venues can be a little rough with parking a lot of the time. Thankfully there was a parking garage.About the show, in particular, I would say the majority of attendees probably were on the autism spectrum. However, that just added the experience and and thats the kind of places I prefer as Im probably on some spectrum myself. I would 100% recommend going to see 100 gecs if you get the chance! And definitely recommend this venue. Really cool place. Really nice people!
Great show a venues . The parking is a scam . Disregard the public parking signs a the attendants waving you in . Nothing is free. The signs that do inform you to pay are few a far between . Strategically placed out of view from the looks of it . Every car around us had a $75 ticket
Great show. Parking is a challenge if you use one of the spaces with a damaged sign. Your phone will be unable to scan to pay. We had to move. The show was great. Their nachos were delicious.
Great music venues including an amphitheater, The Fillmore and The Underground. Love The Small Bar for pre-event drinks and VBGBs is always fun. Couple clubs and restaurants that are okay, but lots of options for everyone depending on what youre looking to do.
Awesome venue! Gorgeous view of a historic part of Charlotte with beautiful building backdrops and cool brick factory feel!! Plenty of staff helped with keeping the lines moving and very clean environment. My favorite Charlotte outdoor music experience. Loved Rise Against!!! Everything was well decorated and super clean bathrooms. Loved the lawn seats. Thank you for bringing back Live Music!!!
This place would be great if you didnt get a parking ticket merely by breathing.Edit: Their parking company voided my ticket so I am thankful for that. Still wish there was a better system in place and that parking violation disputes were handled with greater communication. Not necessarily the fault of the venue since they outsource parking, just something to be aware of if you go here. Stay diligent and triple check your information. The venues here can be a mixed bag I feel (I prefer The Underground over The Fillmore, for example), but are generally alright.
The staff are all super friendly and helpful, the venue itself is awesome even in July heat, and just the overall vibe of the whole complex is so awesome. Really hoping more of my favorite artists choose to play here so I have an excuse to come back. Also, we got seats instead of being in the pit and even being 12 rows back we could see everything and had a blast.
Lots of fun. Made me feel old, but still had a great time! Must check out the comedy zone!
We’ve been to ‘The Underground’ and ‘The Comedy Zone’ here at the complex. Don’t forget to pay for parking like I did! 🧐🥴 we got to see comedian Jeff Arcuri here, and artist ‘Story Of The Year,’ and both experiences were AMAZING!!
Nothing went right. From getting a ticket even though I pre-paid for parking, to the band I bought tickets to see not starting for almost 2 hours after they said theyd start and said nothing about any opening acts, let alone 2. To them packing people in like sardines and you cant even even see stage. Not a good place to see any band thats got a following. Will never go back.
Always a huge pain to navigate, and bases parking prices on the biggest show despite housing a ton of venues. Who designed this place?
Amazing venue; ALWAYS has the best line ups! There really isnt a bad view from anywhere in there for concerts. The staff are amazing and ALWAYS hard working and polite to everyone!!
I am a Bus driver for a tour and the staff is all ways so welcoming! Thanks for having us!
Stood outside for 2 hours when the concert started 2 hours ago . They have no regarded for humans and them standing for hours and ppl have passed out while out here
Went here to see Ashley McBride. The show was great, pretty decent view from almost everywhere except a couple posts. Beer and wine was not a terrible price. Parking was fine as well
Visited one of #MyLovedOnes❤️ for a meeting and she took us on a little tour! Looks like an awesome place to work! Was super impressed with the facility. A gym for employees, beautiful cafe and open work space so they can move around throughout the day. Their desks even move up and down! 👀 very cool!
Amending my previous review. The parking situation here is absurd and inexcusable.AvidXchange wants to pretend that its a real venue while charging ridiculous prices for things that are normally included when you see a show somewhere.Figure. Your parking. Out.I dont care what it takes. Youre supposed to be a professional company. And until you can figure out that very simple thing, stop pretending that youre a real venue in a real city.Youre an abandoned building where shows happen sometimes.
Great evening out. Fast seating, no wait, Great show. We saw Tommy Davidson. His opening act was amazing also. Shame on me for not writing down his name, local comedian.
If you want your car broken into this is a nice place to go and park SECURITY is needed do better music factory
I didnt know that this was a smoking venue.Cigars and cigarettes every where. Not a pleasant place to be in.
Lots of good places to eat and fun things to do especially if youre a music lover. Several intimate venues to watch different bands play. Theres a amphitheatre that holds roughly 2-3,000 people which is outside. Theres also a indoor venue called the Underground which also has live music. And then theres the Filmore which is also a venue for live music, but it along with the Underground are inside.
Not the best venue if the artist you want to hear is popular. They sell too many tickets which makes the experience difficult at best. Long security lines, and packed like sardines. The sound quality is only good if you are in the center of the stage. If you stand to the side the sound is muffled. The outdoor stage at the music factory is better than this. This place pales in comparison to even older places like the neighborhood theatre. Don’t bother paying for vip tix because the upgrade isn’t worth the cost. Learned this the last time I saw a show there. But Tyler made it worth it
The entertainment was incredible ! Enjoyed it ! Will go again.
Went to see Tommy Davidson at the comedy zone. He was not as good as Id expected and 40.00 bucks for parking- insane. I will uber next time- its cheaper. Im giving a 3 star because there was security where we parked.
I attended an event at the Hamilton. It was a great evening. The venue provided good food & drinks from friendly bartenders. Even with a Logic convert right next door all went very well. When our party cranked up it drowned out the large outdoor speakers. Hats off to Charlottes finest (Charlotte Police Department) for keeping the traffic moving & everyone safe!!!
Choices are several both for food & drinks and shows for all age groups. Some of the things to consider parking costs you. Comedy show drinks are kids size and expensive. I need to visit more to share more.
First time at the venue parking was expensive and has to be done on line. A time consuming job if youve never done it before. Sherris show was good. Venue was smaĺl but clean. Depending on the act I may or may not return. I would have to go earlier to examine other parking options. Another venue with different parking options would have gotten more stars. The actual performers I would give *****(5) stars they were very funny.
Went to see Nephew Tommy and my friends and I enjoyed ourselves. Good seating, great show and good food. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.Only downside was Parking. We decided to pay to park which we didnt mind, however, I feel that $21.50 to park for only 3 hours was a but much. Grant it, if you choose to stay in the area longer it would be worth because you have 8 hrs.Overall we all enjoyed ourselves.
The venue was good, as was the show. But do not like how they are bleeding concert goers on things like parking. Paid 30 bucks for vip parking. Followed signs, and guys that were over parking had no way to scan the parking barcode. Said they didnt know anything about it. Had to pay another $11.00 for parking to keep from getting towed. Why are we paying for parking that used to be free? Its not like they have improved anything. Same gravel lots and railroad ties that have been there for years. Just greed. At least kiss me next time AvidXchange.
Such a good place and great entertainment
Barbara is amazing she is a short, long black haired woman and she was so helpful Im was at the neyo pleasure P and mario concert at the skyla credit union amphitheater and although the speakers were out at the start they got it fixed and the concert is amazing
I know this venue has been reviewed a lot , I am not sure I have much to add but I will try. The Comedy Zone is always fun. Usually very funny experience! Food is what you would expect ( slightly below average , however it is reasonably priced ) but you are there for the laughs! Parking is convenient if you are early ( text to park system in place ). It does fill up and if there are both early and late shows , it can be a problem and other parking is a little less convenient. There is a valet service for a few Mexican restaurant upstairs is actually quite tasty. Prices fair and had very cool atmosphere and good servers.Several other venues in this entertainment complex make it a destination location.
Paid in advance for parking, went where the parking attendant told us to go after showing him proof of having paid, ended up with a $75 parking ticket after the show. Really ruined the mood after seeing an amazing concert. Parking truly sucks at this venue - I will not be coming back, ever. Do not recommend.
Sunday night: we and a dozen others paid to park & still got $100 fines. Parking attendant could not be found despite police and security looking for them.
They have plenty of parking where you pay by text. The only complaint I had is that I pre-purchased VIP parking from Live Nation for the Fillmore Charlotte across the street and all I could see for parking areas were from the Music Factory so I had a difficult time locating the parking spot and finding someone to tell me where to go. Turns out the VIP parking lot is in the Employee Parking lot and there were no signs or instructions for it until 20(ish) minutes before the doors opened and the long line already formed.
Lots to do here...Parties, comedy shows, clubs, jazz. Lots of parking, but you may have to walk a little. Ive been to all and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Very close to uptown so you can easily make it a whole night out.
So happy we have this place so close to us. You name the style of music and there is a bar for it here. This place is well taken care of. Ive been to 3 of its venues and the all kill! The athrooms get an A+ which is super unusual for pla especially that sell alcohol. Only complaint is the fees of livenation. Also do you have to put a sharpie X on my 13 year olds hand. Im his dad and he doesnt drink. Come on people. Killer place none the less!
Paid for parking at the exact parking spot where we parked and still had an hour and a half remaining yet there was a $75 citation on our window for “unpaid parking.” This place is a scam, they are totally incompetent.
My hubby & I had date night at The Comedy Zone. Thanks to Staci for blessing us with tickets. We arrived 5 minutes till show time. My advice get there an hour early for great seats! Parking was horrible. The parking area next to The Comedy Zone was to tight. I feel SUVS or any other huge vehicles should be restricted from parking in this parking lot. The staff was friendly. We were seated in the gold circle area, but was seated towards the back due to it being 1st come 1st serve. It was very tight since we were up against the rim- where people that were sitting in this area irritated my hubby with kicking the wall beneath their feet. The noise, thumping, and vibration was so annoying. We barely had any arm room to eat, or move. I was literally sitting on top of my husband. I really didnt mind 😉 it was either sit on top of my hubby or continue to let the guy in front of me nudge me with his arm every time he laughed or shifted. The food was great. The Vegetarian selection is very slim. You have a choice of fries or guacamole with chips...delicious 😋 As far as the servers, they were short staff. It wasnt bad. Marlon Wayans was grrrrrreat!!! My husband recently began to expose me to the comedy world. I really wasnt a fan, but Marlon was phenomenal. I loved the way hes using his platform to get through his pain (the loss of his mother) ❤️ If you ever get the opportunity to see him live ...jump on it. This dude is a natural 😍
The Fillmore itself is a terrific place to see a show. Parking is stupid expensive and there are no free options.
Always a great place to see some live music! Security can be a bit much sometimes, but COMPLETELY understandable if youve ever worked in that setting. 10/10 ⭐
This is an interesting venue! The layout is easy to navigate, the aisles are wide and kept clear, and the restrooms are clean. The basics are covered. I liked the atmosphere as well, chandeliers and lighting included. The drink selection was a little boring and it was pricey for a VIP bar seat along a hand rail into the aisle. I have back issues and have to sit for long periods of time such as a concert. I dont mind paying extra because its a fact of life, but I do wish there were was a wider selection and more staff to wait. To pay as much as I did for two seats, the extremely kind waiter who served us shouldnt have been spread so thin. They worked non-stop as did many I encountered.I went to a concert and as far as the sound goes, I think it was dead-on par. It was loud and the lights in the chandeliers looked cool, but it was acoustically mediocre if lyrics are important to the listener. I couldnt hear a word sung by an artist who was new to me. I still had fun tagging along and the artist was great. At the end of the day my opinion is one of a somewhat snobby audiophile and Im not one to ordinarily go to a concert when I can be an introvert with my noise-canceling headphones.Lastly I will say that staff morale is one of the most important things a business can have. Ill say again that the staff were friendly but seemed over-worked in some pretty harsh conditions with the general public.Despite a few criticisms this was a great place to visit. If youre wanting to see someone in particular, absolutely go for it. Youll have the time of your life here. Only by preference do I usually choose the headphones at home, but for a venue this was a cool place to visit!
The comedy show was great and we had a fun time - the star rating is only pertaining to the venue. Our waitress would only bring us water bottles instead of a water cup. We got the bill and it was $5/bottle plus 18% automatic gratuity. On the way out we saw other tables with water so apparently our waitress was just trying to make a buck. Oh and the waitresses were grouped together complaining about their tip even though they all got 18%. I would have been happy to leave a tip myself but being forced into it feels like a scam.
This place is awesome! Totally set-up right venue. The parking was easy and super close. The food was what you should expect to pay at a venue/ arena/ stadium but the tastes were better then one would expect. Good amount of choices. Location allows for the sound to get turned up, so be ready! I cant wait for another one of my favs to come rolling through. NF is the greatest. REAL music
Really nice venue for a concert. When I was there for an musical artist the drink prices were on the pricey side. But the overall experience was really good.
Great spot with multiple concert venues! Only gave four stars because of parking cost and that I wish there were more restaurants.
I have been to concerts at the Fillmore and the Underground. They are both excellent venues for a metal show. Both will hold a couple thousand people I guess. Good convenient parking, and easy access to I-77.
Ive been to quite a few shows here and its never a disappointment. Plenty of concessions, bathrooms and walking space. Its a small venue, so there isnt really a bad spot to be. The sound is always crystal clear and youre so close to the stage, even in the lawn area, you dont really miss being down in the seats. If you do require a seat though, you can bring your own, or they have rentals at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
Good venues and sound! They get great acts. Hard not to have a good time. When its sold out, its PACKED. Drinks are very expensive (15$ 24oz beers & 6$ waters). When youre in line make sure youve got it together - vax card, ID, tickets. It moves quickly and everyone seems to be asking you for something different.
This is a good venue. Seating and standing are great ways to see a show. Not too large. Food and beverage quite convenient. Eateries in area, too. Parking is decent. Well run.
Parking was bad especially if you buy ahead. Never received confirmation email and was cited at parking spot after I paid still.
Venue is fine, but there no effort to make it easy for people to get out of the parking deck you get trapped in. Cops on the way in, not a single one on the way out.
There are lots of different clubs and restaurants in this little area. That includes World Nightclub which is great when they are open. Explicit is a hip hop bistro & lounge..... I wish they would add a small dance floor or pool tables. Theres a great Mexican Restaurant that plays great music. Theres a sushi restaurant. The Underground and Fillmore Centers are right there where they have concerts all the time. Its a lively party area.
Always the best shows there! I just got home from seeing Nathaniel Rateliff. He puts on the most killer show. The venue is fantastic with nice walkways, easy to access concessions, and restrooms. All the staff are super nice and are ready to have a great time with you. Ill go again and again, please dont change anything!
Went to the Comedy Zone, the stage was viewable from all seating options. Service was quick and almost constant. Beer and food prices were low for an event venue.
For many years now this place is a great venue in addition to the surrounding establishments. For those who enjoy music beverage of their choice and a good place to go on a double date. The staff are great and it’s a place for people I enjoy getting out of the house for a few hours. Very easy to take an Uber or lift to be dropped off and picked up.
Yayyy i saw nascar aloe here!!!
The Fillmore is greatThe pay for parking in the parking lot that has been there for 40 years is ashame. It use to be free nothing has changed about it other than the entrance.
Very nice amphitheatre. Easy to find/get parking and to get inside. Had to walk through metal detector and have my purse searched to get in. I liked that they had security. No real smoking area inside. Other then that great venue and it was packed out.
The only place I have been where every time you go, you see something different but always know you are in the same place as before. AvidXchange Music Factory brings top shelf entertainment for all ages.
Fun area with lots of concert venues. If you go early enough its easy to find parking but be ready to pay. Its also very well organized for ride shares like uber and lyft.
Weve used this venue for date night, and we have not been disappointed. Good food, drinks, and comedians.
Great place went to see Aussie Pink Floyd, it was great outside theater so it was a fantastic night. Food and beverages over priced, but in all great
We went to the Moo and Brew fest and it was AWESOME! Free beer everywhere! Although I dont drink, I thought it was great that people were drinking all day long in the hot sun, and not one problem occurred. We saw shovels and rope (one of our favorites and the reason we came to Charlotte). The sound was great and at the end of the show a train came by and helped us get the band back on the stage for an encore! Super awesome time!
Always have a great time at The Comedy Zone! I missed my initial show on Friday and they very hospitable in allowing me to attend the Sunday show. I was super thrilled, not only because I didnt end up throwing away my $90 tickets, but Judd Apatow was there as a surprise guest followed by THE Insomniac himself, Dave Attell. Skanks for all the memories, CZ!
Ive been to the Music Factory dozens of times, and especially the Filmore for lots of shows. I had never before been to the CMCU Amphitheater and wow was I blown away! I had no clue it was tucked back there. A great venue, with excellent staffing, decent lines for concessions, and an excellent stage setup.
The complex is great but the parking company that is used there is horrible and they are writing 75.00 citations even when you pay the 20.00 to park. Lots of 1 star reviews of this parking company scamming customers. Music factory really should look into this because Risetek Global parking is going to cause you to lose customers.
Nothing but good vibes at this place to party. Several clubs, bars, comedy zones, the underground, and more. Open most days in the week especially the weekends. The best entertainment at the Music Factory.
I had to write a review after my dining experience there last night. Took awhile to get our drinks, I ordered a non-sweet ice tea and did not receive sugar, sweetener nor was I asked. Finally, had to walk up to the bar. Not a good start. At first, the waitress seemed too occupied flirting and lingering with the extremely loud four guys sitting behind us instead of waiting on us. As soon as another table was seated next to us she never seemed to look in our direction much. Also, the young girl with red hair seemed to come to the table and directly address my blond 22 yr old daughter unless I specifically spoke up. I am 50 years old, it was my idea to go there, and OH..surprise, I was picking up the check. The first couple of times did not bother me, every time it was very obvious that she had a problem either speaking with customers that did not need to be carded or reminded her of her mother - or maybe she just likes to socialize.I could not figure out what else it was actually. I have never had that type of experience and if I go back (which I went there early before going to the Comedy Zone in the back to see comedian) I will definitely avoid the young waitress with the red hair. What a mess that was.
Great small venues and bars, perfect for dancing, comedy, intimate live shows, and underground music LOL However, the new parking fee, although convenient through phone by credit card, is astronomical! Be prepared to pay minimum $11 and no attendants anymore
I prepaid for parking and checked with several live Nation employees and a supervisor from guest services to make sure I parked in the correct lot. I prepaid through live nation and yet their own employees gave incorrect information leading to me getting a parking citation. Do not prepay live Nation for parking at this venue. They are clueless.
This is such a great mixed use space filled with restaurants, lounges, comedy zone, convert venue and commercial office space. There are some cute residential properties nearby as well. During events, parking is $20. There is street parking, a couple parking lots and a garage. It may be best for you to carpool or take an Uber or Lyft.
Parked at 7:32pm. Paid 21$ for parking at 7:34, got a ticket at 7:38 anyway. So now I have to hassle with contacting them and sending them a bunch of info so that I dont have to pay the 75$ parking ticket. What a money hungry scam.
The show was amazing! Food was ok, not hot! I just didnt have the energy to return it! Too many customers and what appeared to be a staff shortage, I saw my waitress twice, to order and to pay the bill.
You can prepay for parking but was not very clear since there are other signs on all the parking spots in the garage to text. MF is hit or miss in general.
Went to see The HU at The Underground and I have to say it was an amazing show. The opening act Crown Lands, hailing from Canada, was an unexpected surprise as they were totally amazing themselves. If you have never heard of them youre missing out. The club was awesome as well. I had a great time and I will go back.
Hit the Comedy Zone to check out Josh Wood and the show was amazing! 10/10 will see him perform again given the opportunity!
Great venue, I wish the lawn section was a little bigger. but there are plenty of places to get food and drinks, very nice people working there, and the sound quality of live shows is always good
Drink prices are insane. $16 for a can of beer. Cannot bring in any bag bigger than a wallet. But if the metal detector goes off, they dont care.
This place was great. Went to my first comedy show. Huggy Low Down was soooo funny. The only thing I would suggest is that the cleaning crew clean at a table or section where their guest are STILL sitting. One lady employee threw a bottle of ketchup in a bowl a few feet from where she was walking by and I was sitting at the table where the bowl was. Just imagined if she had missed the bowl and hit me or the ketchup wasnt closed all the way. Not cool at all!!!!!
This is a wonderful place! It is safe, fun, and very well set up for business. I saw Chvrches and Fanclubwallet there a couple days ago and I would definitely go back!
Went to see Beartooth . Good parking and easy to find
Excellent place for night life. Comedy food concerts. Comedy Zone in particular Id my GOTO. There is never a bad night. Some of the funniest comedian/ennes Ive seen live are the non celebrities. Comedy Zone ensures laughter is always abundantly available!!
The Banksy exhibit was well laid out. I am so glad I got to see Banksy’s art up-close!
Terrible parking situation following a concert. Sat over 1.5 hrs on 5th floor of deck with movement only to one level below. Ended up parking the car and worked to ground level to see what was happening. LiveNation attendant goofing off and doing his job. In fact he walked off during the whole fiasco saying “his shift was over”. AvidXchange Music Factory once was easily accessible with smooth ingress and egress. No more. It’s now a headache and a fee!
Set up for a parking ticketA concert was rescheduled from an earlier date and there was no parking feeWithin a few weeks a parking fee was required but no one was informed of this change by any of the parking staffWhen I tried to contact the venue regarding the issue the information on the website is invalid and I received both an invalid email notification and a phone number that is not in serviceTerrible experience and will never attend another event there
Great amphitheater and there is not a bad seat in the place. I even enjoy the lawn. I have seen numerous shows here and have had a wonderful experience every time!
Great venue with lots of other great spots around it. The sound is amazing. Drinks are a little expensive so dont get sticker shock. Get to the compound a little early so you can pre-game at VBGB, 820 and other nice little bars as well.
The parking is over priced, when you have paid to come to a concert, comedy show or out to eat. The parking cost $21. Its a very congested area, especially when the events are over. The parking slots available dont support all the venues on site.
Went for the comedy show and dinner at the Mexican restaurant La Revolucion beforehand. $20 parking was a bit excessive. Food was okay. Comedy great. And servers were happy and prompt. Would recommend.
The bar staff is not very welcoming at all. Netither is the manager. The facility is great. The food is basic and just OK. The music was great, however. I have been about 5 times and just dont know if I care to go back given I got lousy service from rude people. Its a shame because the facility is awesome and the music is great. The bar back was the only positive person at the bar.......seriously.
Parking situation demands improvement. Spent $15 on golf cart rides to and from our venue...the furthest one from the parking deck.
This is an unsafe area so beware! We found out the hard way that this area is prone to car break-ins and there were a series of over 20 break ins in the parking lot in one day over the weekend. Our car was broken into, the window was completely shattered, and our personal belongings were stolen! The fact that it happened to so many cars shows that the on-site security and police are not attentive nor doing their jobs and there are no cameras on certain sides of the buildings, so you are pretty much out of luck if something happens. So disappointing! I used to be able to enjoy the MusicFactory with no little to no worries but I will not be coming back. Please Uber or go somewhere else!
We love going to the factory. Great concerts, great food, great drinks! Ive seen some new artists, and some old guys that I used to listen to back in the 80s. Great place to catch a concert, get a bite to eat or even plan events. VBGB & Small Bar are cool places to hangout. We always look forward to nights at the factory!!
Always have a good time around here. The music venues are typically well organized and there are some good acts that move through the area. Theres some form of entertainment for nearly everyone on the block, depending on what you like to do. Wanna drink? There are plenty of bars/restaurants for that. Like music? Youve got three venues of various sizes to choose from. Wanna catch a comedy show, go clubbing, or just eat good food? They got you covered.
Enjoyed the comedy show at comedy zone. Parking is always terrible and the area is congested. Typically have to walk at least 5 minutes to decent parking near the parking deck.
As a concert venue the amphitheatre is great. What I found objectionable was having to pay $16 for a pint of beer (+ they want a tip). My wife wanted a glass ( plastic cup) of white wine, minimal choice so ended up paying $12 for a small cup of red. Outrageous gouging.
Cool place to see a concert. Lawn seats are perfect! What I didnt like is people can smoke here and it infringed on my breathing. Other than that I had a great time and would go back. FYI: parking can be frustrating. I scored the LAST SPACE in the parking deck for the Goo Goo Dolls / Collective Soul concert in August of 2016.
I was at the Filmore for a concert. The Filmore is general admission and only VIP get seats. So be prepared to stand if youre there for a concert. Nice atmosphere. Great drinks and bar food.
Went to Explicit Lounge on Thursday, Great show! Food service HORRIBLE!!! Waited 2hrs gor my food, the manager never came to speak to me after I requested to speak to him, discounted one item I ordered by only 50% & expected to pay full price for the other item. I refused to pay and he finally removed the items. In addition, we waited an hour to get our bill because the wifi hotspot was down. Wifi hotspot??? Really??? Disappointed!!!
Great set of venues. I truly enjoyed my experience at these locations. Great staff by live Nation and the venues always a great help when needed.
I enjoyed myself the show. Waitress got the order wrong even after checking to see if they had what we ordered. Which made us wait another 25 minutes to get our food.
Trap Bingo, was amazing! Had a great time the food was ok, but the atmosphere was great and the drinks very good!!!! Will attend again !!!
Several music venues, from small, up to a medium size outdoor amphitheater. This is a great place to see bands play live.
A lot of parking that gets filled up quickly. They do however make it easy and convenient for you to pay for parking which is 21 + dollars for 8 hour parking
The show was good.... getting out of the parking garage was a nightmare!!! They allow cars to stop and pick up those that are too lazy to actually walk to the car!!! Unbelievable that no one directed traffic!!! Probably Not gonna go to the clubs around there because of it!!! I want my hour of waiting back!!!
I went to The Comedy Zone to see Sinbad. Hes insane. The venue held a lot more people than I thought. My guests were happy with the food & drinks. Ill be back.
Went to Comedy Zone to see Bruce Bruce. The parking was horrible. A long way to walk.
Skyla Ampitheater is a great place to see all band acts! Well done!
We love going to the comedy zone out here there are a lot of places to eat and dance also but parking is terrible other than that the food and the comedy zone is pretty good.
Easy entrance and exit .Beer selection can improve. But other then that love the Fillmore
During peak times, be prepared to wait in bumper to bumper, stop and go traffic up to an hour to park. Bars can be fun depending on the nightly atmosphere. Lots of music variety and availability
Great venue, great staff!
We paid $20 to park and then came out with a ticket. I called the hotline, and they were not friendly. We have to send a dispute via email. I don’t plan on going back.
Nice smaller venue. Plenty of space to stand around and theres a decent bar. Obviously, prices will be higher so you may want to have a drink before hand.
Bruce Bruces performance at the Comedy Zone was amazing and super hilarious!!
I have been going to the Music Factory for years and love the entertainment the facility brings in. However $12 for parking is price gouging and ridiculous, especially when parking used to be completely free. Very sad.
Parking was a scam. No handicap parking available. $75 parking ticket because phone app for parking was not functioning. No parking prices posted. Ill never attend another event there.
Great place to see a show. Can get a little crowded if a concert is sold out. Helpful staff
Arrived for a daytime interview. My prospective employer/entrepreneur has a start up and this place offers agreeable terms for such qualifying start ups!! Very Kool. Very easy to find via GPS. I texted my arrival for access - probably just security precautions. Ive never attended nighttime events@ music factory. Ive got sensory sensitivity to sound.
Saw Ashley Mcbryde at The Fillmore. Had a great time. Drinks are pricy but its a great atmosphere. Definitely would go see another show there
The comedy show was good
Fun, fun, fun place something for everybody from restaurants, comedy clubs and night clubs its all here under one roof very cool !
The Comedy Zone was nice. It seems like some upgrades were made since the pandemic. Downside, you now how to pay $20 for parking!!!
The Comedy Zone features a mix of comedians. Seating is very close and tight. Since a recent incident, metal detectors are being used and CMPD stationed on the premises.
Went to the Comedy Zone for Sunday dry comedy, the show and food was just ok. I was there about 7 years ago to watch the comedy school graduation show which I thought was a better show.
Great selection of restaurants and entertainment, parking is not free but can get free parking by having it validated by the venue restaurants
Parking is no longer free during peak times and during events/concerts. The parking deck and roads around the Music Factory are poorly designed to handle high amounts of traffic. When you park in the deck you have to either leave the show early or be prepared to sit in traffic for up to an hour... When a concert ends all of the foot traffic has to cross Hamilton and then cross the deck entrance street so the deck traffic backs up until everyone gets to their cars and then since there is only one exit in the deck you literally have to wait for the entire deck to clear out below you before you can leave. Try to arrive early and park towards the bottom...
The Comedy zone with the Comedian Kerwin was a blast. I have to say not only me but several people complained about their watered down High priced drinks. Very disappointing.
It was a friendly environment. The Host was awesome and the comedians were pros. Overall a great place. Never had so much laugh in a long time
So I don’t actually know what this place does, aside from charge for parking outside of the parking deck. This place isn’t the Fillmore, but rather the area that contains the Fillmore.$12 a beer at The Fillmore is more than enough. Now you gotta charge us $5+ for parking in an open lot? Psh.
Always a fun time visiting this area. Lots of places to drink and eat. Always good shows playing, and its not in a terribly busy location, so traffic isnt horrible.
Parking use to be free around this area. Now they charge. But wont take the money and fix the huge potholes in the parking lot.
Amon Amarth was Killer here . Loved it drinks are pricey but the show was a once in a lifetime for me.
Theres so many different ways to have fun. I didnt like the fact that they charge for parking during certain hours and days. None the less, great place to go !!
This is the place to go to see the best shows and live music events in Charlotte. Parking can be tough, and if you need an Uber make sure you dont wait until 2am... you may be waiting for a while!
My favorite concert venue in Charlotte. Just a good size, quick entry and exit, and VBGB is just outside the gate.
Visited Pretty n Ink at the Music Factory for my daughters 1st tattoo. She loved it especially since it was done by Dutchess from Black Ink Crew. It was a little pricey but she loved it and says she will definitely go back.
Nice small place to see a band. Sounds was a little muddy and mixed for a larger venue (read, loud) but overall good. Staff was great and access to and from the venue was not an issue at all!
Nice vibes! I had a great time at the Lukas Nelson show. Thank you for hosting the best bands!
I bought tickets for the Banksy exhibit and park next to building (was my first time and last time there) and when I came out I have a $75 ticket for parking, I think is rude after the payment of each ticket for that exhibit
World ~ This venue is the most over rated and the worst. I have literally left the premise after long waits in line for a second time. Never going back, it was filled with sadness and shame and Cold Play. #Done #😤
The best kept secret in the factory is the Charlotte Comedy Theater in the back VIP room of Wet Willies. They do live improv comedy every Fri and Sat and teach improv. The shows are great and the food/drinks at Wet Willies are awesome. This is a hidden Jem in Charlotte and not sure why its not on the map here.
Great atmosphere, foods ok,small but very nice
Nice place with all kinds of things going on. The parking here sucks!
Went to the My Name Is NOT Mom show starring Tiffany Jenkins!! Meredith Masony!! & Dena Blizzard!! at the comedy zone!! Had a great time!!
I went to the Comedy Zone. Its a small quaint place. There are no bad seats.
I frequent The Comedy Zone. A lot of great comedians roll through. 4 stars because the comedy club is great, but the business above makes too much noise and its distracting to the comedians.
Had a blast at the comedy zone good prices on food and drinks. Tell them Brian Sent ya!
Loved the Jessie Murph concert! Great venue.
