The Nile is now Club Nile

I didnt really see any food, Ive been gone for over 10 years. But I love this place, I love the owners. I wish one day I am able to provide some wonderful food. Great atmosphere! Great DJ! Always feels like home. Could be comfortable and enjoy yourself!

June 1, 2024- Saturday Night..DJ is terrible. Please find someone that can mix the oldies and the new/radio songs for a better dancing experience. You know you have an older crowd but you make a large portion of the seating reserved? I watched older people stand all night last night while reserved seating remained empty, all the while the staff is saying the long tables were booked. Its a money grab. You went up in prices but you dont offer customers anything new as a result of the price increase, and please dont say the waitresses because they dont justify your money grab. My friends and I used to come a lot, not anymore, and we want to come more often. Last night the seating issues and the DJ were the worst.

I absolutely love the atmosphere in the very safe, dance the night away. Great hometown, old school cooking fried chicken, macaroni, tuna salad drinks notwater down. And hopefully i shall return.

Older and mature crowd wish the music was more up to date but still had a great time. Bring your fan they dont believe in a.c

I will never come back and tell EVERYONE I can , not to go there. It was my first time there. It was some lady in a tight wig and cheap sequin blazer that claimed to be “the owner”. She said it proudly. I would never call myself the owner and then treat people so rudely. She first decided to give my husband a speech on dress code for a Sat. Night. He was in athletic wear . However, it was Friday! She went on and on . First of all, how you know we want to come back? Donte need to be lectured like kids on what to wear on a sat. Then…. At 1 am started cleaning up around us while we’re still sitting there. Even telling my husband get up to remove the seat cover. We been thrown out of better places than that dirty washed up place. The owner needs to treat her patrons with respect. I won’t be back or my friends.

Definitely for the grown and sexy. Great DJ. Friendly people. Just a real good vibe.

I have to say the only reason why this establishment is getting one star is because I had no choice in order to leave a review. I would like to start out with. I have been put out a better places than this. It was OK however, I feel as if my brother and his wife were basically being stereotype and yes the owner the one who is commenting on everyone’s reply, has a very nasty disposition to herself and by nasty I do mean rude and Distasteful. If your establishment closes at two, why are you making people get up to take decor and tablecloth up, telling people to get up so you can remove the tablecloth & seat covers. I thought this was the most unprofessional distasteful thing that has ever been done in my years of going out to a nightclub, along with the nasty way she said it. Your purple skills lack of good customer service is a prime example that anybody can open a business. I don’t need an apology nor do I need an invite to your VIP section here nor do I need a response because after reading the rest of the reviews, your establishment speaks for itself. When you know better, you do better however, this will most DEFINITELY be first and LAST time coming here.

If you like the Hole in the wall vibe/grown ups who have too much to lose to act a fool crowd this is your spot! Cover charge is usually $10. Truly enjoyed myself.Update: June 2022...Ive been going for the last month and Im officially a regular going to just buy a membership! I love it here!

My best friend and I visited this place. We were in town from Chicago and decided to skip going inside because of the curbside appeal.

My husband and I visited this place for his Birthday Friday night it was a great place good vibes good food and good people. Next time in Charlotte will definitely visit again.

Had the best time last night. The food, music, and atmosphere was on point. It gave serious grown folks vibes. It was jam packed, people came to dance and socialize. And sisters, the brothers were in the house dressed like real grown men. I will definitely be back when I visit Charlotte again.

I am 63 years old and needless to say there are very little places for me to go and enjoy myself with my Peers. I was on a mission looking for a place to go where I can hangout. Well as I went from place to place a security guard at one of the places (after hearing my sad unsuccessful story) said I know a place that you would really enjoy, the name is The Nile. I was there the next day, yesterday. The atmosphere, music, the stylish dress code, nice staff. I love it and plan on returning again, again and again😀

Visited the club with a special friend on a whim just to check it out because its in the area(didn’t know what to expect). We actually enjoyed ourselves with the older no drama crowd!!. The drinks were good & the music was a nice mix!! The people were very friendly & welcoming(mature environment)!! My question is, do i need to purchase a membership to continue to come back??

The music was basic, the crowd didn’t dance much. Lots of people just sitting around.

I went about three weeks ago. I arrived around 9 and was able to get a seat at the bar. After I had my two drinks, (cuz I was driving), I was on the Dance floor the majority of the time. The music was on point (Thanks DJ!), and the people were there to dance. I plan to visit Saturday to celebrate my birthday. This time Ill have a few of those wings that were on everyones table. lol. Would have given four stars, but I see that management reads the reviews and responds promptly. All the difference!

Perfect night spot for 45 and up...I had a ball

My wife and I just moved here from Indianapolis a few months ago. After a few disappointments from clubs advertising Old Schoo,l we finally found the real Old School spot in Charlotte. The Nile was the first Black owned Night Club that I have been to in 10 years that didnt even search my wifes purse, let alone Wand and Frisk me as if that made me feel safer. How refreshing to see Real Old School having a great time and great music. The the Owner Ms. Jackie brought a round of drinks for our table, and the service was spectacular.Thanks, Jackie and Herb, were now your newest regulars. See you next week!

Friend invited me to the club on a Sunday. $10 entry - not bad - big parking lot - food available ( didnt try ) - live band was great( DJ on other days ) Negativity - ran out of beer - seating was confusing & no table service - decor is old but not a deal breaker. I would go back. I dont know how other days are but Sunday had an Old School Vibe

It was a nice vibe. Meant for the older crowd , I’d say 50+ The cover was fair, the drinks were not the best, but good music. It was a fun time.

I really enjoyed the music, Im from Jersey and the music was definitely upscale for an older crowd. The people were very friendly and very respectful. I would highly recommend The Nile to others. Go check it out at least once just to get their Vibes. 5 stars for sure

Love this old school club where the locals come out dressed in their finest and party hard. The DJ is great and plays and array of old school hip hop and soul. Youll definitely travel back in time and dance the night away. Good clean fun!!

I went to club now on two occasions one with my fiances birthday and one was the night that we just wanted to get out hang out and Ill tell you I enjoyed myself the first night and we came back the second night everybody is so nice there especially the owner or the manager Miss Jackie I like this club she is wonderful CVS really showed me a club that is respectful

I was very impressed with the club. The DJ played a mixture of old school, along with R&B. The atmosphere was excellent. Had a great time with my friends and will go again when Im in the area. Special shout out to Curtis.

I visited this established Mothers Day weekend and I had a blast. Grown and sexy crowd! I danced a lot, the drinks were good! I would recommend this club if youre in CHARLOTTE.

Im from Atlanta Georgia been here for a year and I finally found me a old school club that plays good music great DJ the hospitality from the staff and owner is excellent I was telling some of my people back home whenever they come to Charlotte thats the club to come to its a true grown and sexy club I love it Ive been there three times and plan to go back many more times

Just okay. Very, very slow bar service. It took my over 15 minutes to get a drink from the bar and it was nasty. Good music but horrible service. My receipt was for one price and they entered a totally different price in. I will not be returning. My first and last time here.

In the past The Nile was the place to go, the music was on point ALL night long, and the surprising thing the DJ was white, no shade just surprised because he had all the music and his DJing skills were to be reckoned with. Last night my friends and I decided to go to the Nile on N Graham, because as I stated the music 🎶 is great, food is on point and it’s a spot for grown folks, well the club has been sold and has new owners and the new DJ in my opinion needs a lesson in DJing, definitely will not be going back. For $20 admission I expect music without long pauses between records. Totally disappointed, the owners stated that it’s hot outside, and although they have a new air conditioning system due to the temperature outside that’s why it’s hot in side....lol, then turn on fan. Anyway we were extremely disappointed..... Does anyone know where the former DJ the white man is DJing at, that’s where we need to go.....

Not alot of people in my age group here. 30s. This place is for grandparents and 75% of the songs i dont recognize. Oldie music. If you are 50 or older u will love this place. The men are gentlemen and buy your drinks. Get there early for a seat at table or bar. Small dance floor. Theu sell food but takes a long time for wings.

I arrived to this place open minded I definitely had a ball .I live inCharlotte but this place brought back memories of where I come from everyone had zero care .They point to have amazing experience I would like to send a special salute to our bartender Dee .I will say she took great care of us and the fact that I am a drink foodie I love a great drink .The fact that she listen to what I wanted even thou my favorite wasn’t there she made this drink .As thou I made it myself .Thank you so much for making my night amazing I will tell my friend to check you out

The Nile use to be the spot , The music is horrible. I love Johnny Cee but he needs to stick to Friday nights. The white DJ needs to come back on Saturday nights he use to keep people on the floor and his music was always on point .A lot of long timers arent going there anymore due to a lot of changes .Its just sad because I use to love coming there but wont be going back anytime soon .

The place is ok... It was better with the deck. In desperate need of a new dj. The music is the same every week and keeps me from wanting to ever go back. How do you keep or even grow a crowd playing cds? ijs

Traveled from out of town. Female manager at entrance window was Very rude and judgemental to me a few months ago when I first visited. Regardless, I had a Very nice time and decided to return, visiting a well known member there, and she was Very rude to him. #LadyStopHating

Nice club. It was a group of us and we spent $213.00. 2 people out of the group ask for a glass of water to be told we had to purchase bottle water. WOW!!! Bartenders charging different prices....
