Long Haired Persons BEWARE! Go anywhere else!I have never had such a terrible haircut experience in my entire life. I am appalled and in shock over how bad my hair was treated during my appointment at this Tricoci location. I had very healthy waist length unlayered hair with grown out curtain bangs. I came to Tricoci at the recommendation of family who love the Geneva location. I did not find that my hair was treated in a professional manner whatsoever and the results clearly show it.I am used to boutiques and salons taking me to the stylist station and discussing my hair and goals thoroughly before I am placed in the wash chair. My stylist looked at my dry hair for approximately 3 minutes before placing me in the wash chair and completing my shampoo and conditioner. I warned him before starting that i had walked to the location and that my hair would be knotted due to wind. He stated its what we do here! and so I thought it was ok. However, once he brought me to his station he very SURPRISINGLY started brushing my hair from my scalp DOWN, instead of starting from the bottom and moving up slowly. He did not appear to use any products to detangle either, which other salons do. I felt very roughed up and could feel my hair snapping from his rough brushing. This should have warned me that my stylist was not up to the task of taking care of my long hair but I persevered believing he knew what he was doing. I was dead WRONG. I showed him a selection of hair-inspo pictures (below) to show him what I had in mind, even asking that he give me advice on what is achievable with my hair. I also specifically asked for a V-cut. He assured me I had more than enough hair to do what I wanted. He again did not spend any considerable time assessing the hair models I provided (like at all) and I again wrongly assumed he knew what he was doing since he seemed so confident and nonchalant. He finished my hair cut but I asked that he add more layers given that I did not see a single difference nor that he followed any of the models I showed. He did not even touch my bangs (which are currently chest length). He continued adding layers and what I was left with is an abomination. Pictures of my hair post haircut (with Argan oil in my hair). I have added pictures of the inspo and of what my hair looked prior to the haircut.I attempted to contact Tricoci through the online contact us option. I never received a response. My husband called the location for me, because I was too devastated to do so, and they promised to call within 24 hours. It took over 4 days to receive any word from the salon. I was offered a redo of my haircut, a free haircut, or credit towards color services. The fact that I was offered credits towards coloring hair is laughable. I maintain my hair by avoiding color services, heat, and getting a trim twice a year. These solutions are a slap in the face to what felt like an assault to my person. I am known for having long beautiful hair and Tricoci took that away from me. My hair looks awful.I did not feel like I received careful consideration or care, but simply a patron to pass through a chair as quickly as possible. My scalp ached for 2 days after my appointment, and I will have to spend another year or two growing out the damage done to my hair. I will never trust a Tricoci salon for my hair again.

Really cool space, lovely employees, fantastic service. Went with friends for pedicures and had a great time. We chatted with each other, as well as the staff and had some good laughs. The service was magical and thorough.Thank you to Denise for her color suggestion and lovely massage skills. My legs feel so much better because of you!

Couldn’t get in to my regular hair stylist as she was booked out for a month. I made the first available appointment online and showed up in time for my appointment. I proceeded to wait for my stylist Dolli for an hour and a half. Instead of providing a proper consultation of my dry hair she sent someone else to shampoo me since I suppose she could probably tell I was getting annoyed. Once in the chair instead of apologizing she just told me that the reason she had me waiting for an hour and a half was because she wanted her clients to look good. In my opinion this just means she’s overbooking herself but whatever I guess. I then asked her how much this fairly basic haircut would cost and she said $175. I was shocked and told her I was passing on the cut and that I was extremely annoyed about waiting for an hour. As I was leaving another stylist chased me up the stairs and said she would do it for $60. She was super sweet and did a good job but the overall experience was kind of ratchet.

Was in from out of town and needed a last minute cut and blowdry. I have very thick, long hair and was nervous going somewhere I’d never been before. Enter Van Daisy who did an incredible job - my cut is bouncy, just the right length and everything I wanted. Received compliments as soon as I left the salon. Highly recommend!

I received my first ever blow out & then got my hair curled for a wedding I was attending! Sharonicka knew it was my first time getting a blow out & being at the salon. She made it a very wonderful experience. The salon is big, nice, and very bubbly. I really enjoyed myself and the confidence I had leaving the salon!!

I’ve been visiting Tricoci for a year now. So many services available and the employees are kind and friendly. Dolly has been doing my haircut now for a year, it’s been amazing working with her. I would highly recommend. It’s definitely on the higher side, but you get what you paid for. So glad I came across this salon.

I was there on March 15th I got a blowout with Lauren and makeup application with Maribel. My blowout was great no complaints there my hair lasted for literally 4 days and did not budge I that give 5 stars. Lauren was very personable and listened to exactly what I wanted, I wanted big hair she teased it to make it even bigger. I would come back and see her again. For my makeup application the artist cleaned the brushes she just used on my friend who had acne prone skin with only alcohol, ten continued to use it them on my face. I get my makeup done pretty often and she should have used new brushes that were properly washed. I’ve had acne for a week now ever since all on my forehead area and I never ever break out or have any pimples. This is very upsetting that I’m going through this because of poor cleanliness. Then when she applied liquid eyeliner to my water line it burned and I know she has used before on other people cause I watched her used it on my friend and then on me. My friend’s eyelashes were falling off the rest of the night, mine fell off when I got to my hotel room I had to reapply glue. I think the issue is there needs to be more attention to fine detail and properly wash products or use fresh clean ones. Also another just tip of advice when talking to clients there can be dead air it doesn’t need to be a constant rolling of uncomfortable questions, silence at some moments is nice. For the most part my makeup looked beautiful though I have no complaints about how it looked.

Before meeting you, I had long black hair with 3 inches of mostly grey hair at my roots and I really didnt know how to continue to let my grey grow out...it was difficult and I felt like giving up. After meeting with you and sitting in your chair, I am rocking this new banging creative cut. I absolutely LOVE it! I feel empowered, and so free of thinking of how to go natural Super thanks Rico for being a part of my journey, for your exceptional unbound, intuition and artistry!

I booked myself a spa day while traveling with my husband! I started with a body treatment at 8:15 am followed by a 90 minute massage, age reversal facial, and then a Wash and Style in the hair salon. I emerged a whole new woman! And my hair was all ready to.go foe.our evening formula dinner. The next day, I booked a color appointment for my husband to get a little gray out of his hair. He was resistant at first but then very happy with the final result!

I hold nothing against the hair stylist and didn’t want to make her feel bad , thus didn’t say anything to her…but the haircut was very unprofessional , it is almost as if she hadn’t done a haircut before. The hair is uneven all the way around and the framing bangs on front are worse than what I used to cut myself at home. The previous time I had a haircut at Tricoci , I had absolutely loved it but this time it was sheer disappointment. It looked fine because of the blowout but it is very unprofessionally done and that makes me not want to go there again even though I love the place.Dont even want to start in how the haircut was nowhere close to what I wanted

Tracie is a true artist. I got extensions for the first time and was a bit nervous. Tracie patiently answered all my questions so that I knew exactly what to expect. She was so skillful in her work that people had no idea that I got extensions and thought that my hair just grew really fast! Shes so talented and knows exactly how to cut my hair so it is the most flattering for my face.Hurry up and book your haircut and/or extensions appointment with her because shes so good that it wont take long before shes booked.

I am a long time client of Mario Tricoci and i’m way overdue for a review. I started out as a color correction years ago, and kept coming back! I love their integrity as a salon- every colorist i’ve had achieves a new level of transformation while keeping the integrity of my hair to set me up for long term success. My most recent visit was with Peyton and i cannot recommend her enough. She is incredibly talented, genuine and welcoming. So many wonderful things to say about her which makes me so grateful to have fallen into her chair!

I had the most horrendous experience on March 3, 2024, at Triccoci (Michigan Av, Chicago)in the hands of one of the assistant managers, I believe. She was rudeness personified whether it was about using my card for the shampoos I purchased or about a senior hair stylists availability. I informed about the incident to yet another assistant manager who promised she would connect me with the store manager but nothing as yet. Patrons spending hundreds of dollars in these salons deserve nothing but utmost courtesy and respect. Its quite disappointing.

Please be ware of this place. I went in for a simple bleach root touch up and my hair completely burnt all off over 95 percent of my hair missing my hair stylist was Sarah, and over a year later and my hair is barely recovering. I have now a bad chemical cut and never dyed my hair since, yet my hair remains in such a fragile state, before I went in my hair was healthy long and strong I’m more than sad over this please don’t come here. When I told them my hair is practically fried off they were rude and could care less as long as they got their money. In the end all they gave me was one sample of a hair mask.

I had an excellent haircut with Nico and consult with Nelida. I had been through a lot with my hair, and was very cautious during my appointment. Nico was extremely considerate, precise, and gave me an excellent haircut that made me feel more like myself again than I had for a long time. He even somehow managed to make these rather extreme yellow pieces at the front of my hair blend significantly better.I left town before I could get color with Nelida, but during the consult, she showed that she is a true professional. Instead of forcing me to detail everything that I wanted, she was able to discern the best shades for me and assured me that she, as the expert, took responsibility for knowing how to get me to my goal. Working with Nico and Nelida was such a pleasure, because they clearly are so passionate about their craft.

AMAZING EVERYTHING.Drea is now my regular stylist.She far exceeded any expectations. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Great to talk with. THANKS A BUNCH!!

Both the centralized call center and the location itself have uneducated staff who lack proper protocols and customer service training. Despite the talented stylists at the salon, there are definitely better options out there that prioritize customer care and service.

Raven at the Gold Coast location did my blowout this morning and did an incredible job! She pays attention to detail while being kind and personable, I will definitely be back!

I like this spot as it’s always easy to get an appointment, never had a bad cut or color here. It’s pricey. I wish the option to get a service by a student was available at the chicago location

I usually stick to getting my haircuts in my hometown, but I took a chance and decided to visit Tricoci for a change. Cristal is awesome! She went above and beyond to ensure she truly understood my concerns and hair goals. She took the time to carefully assess my natural hair texture, which I greatly appreciated. Her thoughtful recommendations on what would work best for me were spot on.

UPDATED TO ADD: while clearly the salon never read my review to know I’d reached out, I don’t want their canned “contact us” response to fool anyone. I’ve still heard nothing and it’s been weeks. I also have to update while I don’t think my haircut was as bad as I first thought now that I can fix it, the color still is. So I’m attaching a photo showing my request and the $300 color I was given. (Note the first photo was NOT done by here! It’s the second photo with horrible chunky color)Original review:I’ve gone here over a decade. Last time my haircut was SO unflattering that for the first time in my life people said things like “oh, I loved how it used to be…” but I chopped it off so, ok, maybe not their fault (I donate it every few years and usually get compliments but I still brushed it off). Fast forward to last week. Not only is my hair so bad I have tears every time I think about what I have to live with for the holidays, but it is nothing close to what I asked for, can’t be fixed, AND instead of $230 it was $360!!!!! Oh, and I reached out to the salon TWICE and no response.I’ve never had hair issues before and usually go with the flow but this was unacceptable. I asked for thin and subtle balyage. Showed a photo. My hair has chunky highlights. I asked for a bob but specified it was important to be long enough for a ponytail still (my hair was past my shoulders. My exact words were “I want to keep as much length as is healthy, but definitely long enough for a pony tail”…and 5-7”were cut off!). It is LITERALLY less than 1/2” from my scalp in the back. It will be over 6 months to be ponytail length. And all the color was chopped off except the chunky highlight part. Plus! The rest of my hair literally now looks damaged bc of how it was cut. And again, I had a reference photo with clear instruction from the photo.And I reiterate, this horrible job, was over $100 more than the cost of what I booked (I also booked full color which we didn’t even do and it was still $100 more…bc of “product and foil”… for shoulder length hair) plus, zero response from the salon.This ends my long term relationship as a client and I highly suggest not believing the previous hype and know that it’s not what it once was. Sadly you should go elsewhere as I surely am. And you won’t be in tears for the holidays with the worlds most unflattering hair that was hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars to look this awful.

Worst experience ever. Stylist Diamond did not have any idea of what the customer demanded even after showing the photo of exact style I wanted. She should not have picked up her scissors if not confident to perform and meet customers expectation. Now my back of head looks like a dumb dude with spots all over and the forehead is worse with uneven cuts. By looking at this I say she is well far below the average stylist you will ever find in town. Not to mention, I dont really think it would not be so much different if it was done by other stylist who first appeared to be a little more experienced. Her colleague (dont knkw his name) literary tried to sell me out after checking out how my hair came by simply giving me a false feedback; it looks great I dont know what you are talking about. Exceptional experience!! EXCEEDED any expectations.Loved both Talia for color and DREA for haircut. Very professional and so very nice! Highly recommend! Last time I was here was early 2000! Great staff !! Very personable! Absolutely loved my end result!! PERFECTION BY DREA. Price was what I expected as it was discussed with me before services were done. Wonderful all over experience! Im a regular!! DREA AND TALIA FOREVER!! I live and work in the area so its very convenient with great hours!

I had the moroccon oil manicure with Digna and the Therapeautic Pedi with Sashka on Saturday Dec. 9th , 2017. See pics.Mani pedi services are horrible . I have received several gift cards from family who frequent Tricoci in Oak Brook. I have been to the Oak Brook location and the Michigan avenue location at least 4-5 times. I have gone here for mani pedis for location, convenience and the reputation of Tricoci as a whole. I have never been happy with their 40+ manis and $60+ pedis.They are all quite expensive with different exfoliating or moisturizing scrubs or soaks. This is all you get! The skill of the technicians is absent. I am not even sure if they possess any certifications to do feet or nails. I have very dry, peeling hands from wearing acrylic nails and calloused feet from regular exercise and high heels. The technicians buff my heels and soles a few times and cut a few hang nails off my fingernails. They never remove the dry skin or the built up callous. They soak your feet, apply whatever scrub or oil, wrap your feet , do a quick buff of your soles and paint your toes. Hands are just the same. They do not push back your cuticles, buff your nails, shape your nails, or remove dry skin under or around your nails. They certainly do not remove callous on your palms or fingers.I previously complained about the same issue a few years ago and the manager contacted me. Her suggestion was not “ I will reschedule you with our best technician and we will provide a do-over.” It was, “you did not get the right TREATMENT, we have a new more moisturizing one that we are debuting.She recommended this AT MY EXPENSE. What an atrocity. Again trying to sell their crappy run of the mill treatments. Treatments are only as good as the person performing them.If you wanna pay $70.00 for a 2.00 oil or scrub, foot or hand soak and nail painting, this is your place. Do not expect anything more from any of the technicians because this is how they are taught to perform these duties systemwide. If you want to clean your feet and hands up from callous and jagged nails, go to a small local nail place.I am going to expressly tell my family NOT to ever give me a tricoci gift card. The remaining money on my cards, I will try the waxing.

Always on time and makes herself available for any follow up after my appointment. My hair is so much healthier since seeing her will not go anywhere else for my keratin.Love that tricoci has Wi-Fi so I can work during my appointment.

We were last week in Chicago for a wedding on 9/16/23. This salon was recommended by the concierge at the hotel we were staying, Ritz Carlton.I had made arrangements few weeks prior for updo and make up services for 4 of us. When we arrived, met with hair stylist right away; they were open and understanding to what we wanted. My hair stylist was David. He did an amazing job with my hair, modern and very chic updo. So did the other hair stylist with the rest of our group. Make up artist was Nina. She as well did an amazing work; was open to listen to what we wanted and full filled our needs. We finished on time to go back to the hotel and get ready for our event. Very pleased to recommend this salon. Thank you Tricoci salon team! Thank you David for a very glamorous look.

I am terribly disappointed with the service of this salon. I booked online because it stated that a FULL balayage was $130. My hair was already half balayage, I just needed to touch up my roots. My stylist only did half of my hair, the salon DOESNT EVEN BLOW DRY or let alone style hair after a $330+ service. That being said I went in thinking that a balayage was going to be $130 at most $200 and some change but I certainly did not expect to pay double the claimed price. Also again mention that my hair was already partial balayage so only half of the work that I was paying for was done. I was charged for toning but the half of my hair that wasnt done was still looking yellow tone meanwhile the part that was done was a complete different tone. If I knew I was paying $330+ I wouldve had my stylist do my entire hair. Not to mention my hair wasnt even styled. I went here a day before a party thinking I would have blown out hair for the day after and just left dissapointed and crying out of the salon. I literally wanted her to enhance the color that I already had and I dont think this was worth $330+ dollars. Even though my stylist was super sweet the salon and its protocol not to style or even blow dry hair is absurd. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE.

Had a massage there today and it was phenomenal.Therapist name was Yossi although I am probably but hearing the spelling I apologize. This massage was truly one of the best treatments Ive ever had. This therapist is doing great things here.

I hate getting my hair cut, and going to someone new is nerve wracking! Drea made me feel comfortable the second I sat in her chair. I showed her a few photos of what I was wanting to achieve, we made a plan and she showed me exactly what she was going to do. She checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable through the entire process. ‘Oh, Wow!’ Was my exact reaction when she showed me my hair. I’m so happy! Drea nailed it!!

The place is really impressive but its very overpriced..the stylists are very snooty and unwelcoming..the lady “Dolly” who did my hair..got me in the seat and after shampoo with my hair soaking wet ..tells me she will charge me more coz of my hair density..i mean this could have been communicated when i first entered, but no, they had to wait till my hair was soaking wet so that I have no option but to go ahead with it..there was no hi hello from her and just did my hair in weird silence…had a rude tone when giving directions on which way to turn my head while giving me a haircut..the only time she talked a bit was when she had to sell me her shampoo conditioner and serum.One can get a way better customer service elsewhere for the price they charge

I think the haircut I got is the most uneven haircut Ive ever recieved. I was in and out of my appointment (including hairdry!) in under 30 minutes. I told my stylist that I wanted to grow out my hair and instead she chopped it so much that I cant even put it in a ponytail (my only other request). Im overall just really sad about the whole thing and I wish I could will my old hair back. She also gave me her business cards to give to my friends and badmouthed the haircut I had coming in. Overall Im sure my experience was just stylist dependent but I most likely will not be back.

It is bait and switch. We booked on line and assumed on line prices, however when I checked out, i was charged 3 times the price because we “booked on line and booked a top stylist”. Booking on line, in for a wedding and have no idea about top stylists. When I called back to question, I was told, it is because we booked top people.

I went for subtle balayage from David and I wanted slight gold tone first he did my tone copper and then he said if I did not wanted it he changed it to very chunky gold streaks. This is what he did to my hair. Will never go back again.

Just magnificent!Got my hair cut with Amarilis, beyond excellent! exactly what I wanted without even showing a picture its like she read my mind.Facial by Ariel- very polite and caring, great advice about face care routines. Im almost one week out, my face is looking better than ever! definitely recommended, and definitely coming again!Couldnt be happier about the care I received! thank you Tricoci

Amazing experience. Efficient booking and check in process, validated free 3 hour parking, and my hair looks better than ever thanks to Alyssa. She did an amazing cut for me and was so sweet and easy to talk to. I have incredibly thick, course, dry hair that people generally have trouble cutting and she made it look fabulous. I definitely will be back!

Tyler was AMAZING and did a great job on my hair. Very over priced compared to some other places and super busy so feels a little rushed in there. I would drive the 6 hours to have her do my hair again because she was that amazing. Not giving 5 stars due to the super high prices, but they say you get what you pay for.

I have had manicure and pedicure appointments booked here for FIVE MONTHS in anticipation of my wedding day for myself, my matron of honor and my mom. 15 minutes before closing the night before the appointment, they cancel the appointment for my matron of honor with ZERO flexibility to rebook. We independently verified this appointment on THREE separate occasions as I have had similar experiences in the past. I have been a customer for over 15 years and it is evident that they do not care about their customers since they are willing to do this to me 2 days before my wedding. Please do not support their business as I certainly will not be.

My hair looked pretty in the moment (I had gotten a blowdry and curls), but the curls came almost completely undone about an hour after I left (when my curls usually stay put all night). My hair is also dryer and more brittle after this service than it usually is, and conditioner (both leave in and regular) are not helping my hair get any better. I have an appointment with my regular stylist to do a deep condition in order to restore my hair.Nina did an amazing job with my makeup, however, so the review isn’t a one star because of her.

I was really impressed with Tricoci! They are very efficient in terms of checking in and checking out/paying. Fredy cut my hair and I am beyond happy with the results! Will def be returning.

Massage with Gyasi was great! He was very thorough and tailored the massage to exactly what I was looking for to release tension in my lower back and IT band. Highly recommend Gyasi!

I got my hair done in LA and did a full color change from black to ash grey. I live in Chicago so I wanted to get a refresher since it was turning blonde. The first time I went to Tricoci, half my hair fell out. It was a nightmare and I immediately contacted the salon. The manager immediately responded in probably the best way any manager could have in that situation and more. She didn’t even have to ask me if I wanted a refund because at the end my conversation with her, she told me she already took care of that. I sent some pictures of my extremely damaged hair and she worked with her hair care specialists to send me products to start repairing my hair. She also offered for me to come get my hair cut so it could be blended to the best it could be. I hesitated but took her offer.When I went in, I wanted to talk to a stylist to understand what happened and if there was any way I could continue to have this color done. I understood the risk because no matter what, I’m putting bleach/chemicals in my hair. She told me and assured me that we could and it just required more attention to detail. I decided to trust her and we put some time on the cal for her to do it.Alexa pays particular attention to detail and having black hair already makes it more difficult. She willingly took the time and attention to make sure the whole process was done right. Alexa is incredible with what she does. If you need a color stylist, Alexa is 1000% recommended.Janelle actually found out it was me who came in again- kinda happenstance and she even comped the treatment. I was already expecting to pay but this was certainly the cherry on top for my experience. Both Janelle and Alexa really go above and beyond and I would never hesitate to talk to them and ask them for any help/service.Thanks so much!

Denise and Tricia took care of my pedicure and manicure the week before Christmas and I was so happy with not just the results but their warm and welcoming behavior. I loved it there and the location was also extremely sanitized and appealing!New review 2022: Pam and tiziana did a fantastic job on my hair! Also made me feel very comfortable and safe. I wish I could go here all the time.

We found our hair stylist! We 1st met Jeffery at oak brook mall. We found out he works at the Michigan Ave location. My daughter has had her hair cut by many higher end salons throughout her 16 years and they have All done a wonderful job on her. But, Jeffery by far has done the most Amazing cuts on my Kali. Not only do the cuts complement her facial features but even when it grows out 7 months later the cut and style still holds and flows beautifully. We will always come back and highly recommend Jeffery. Thank you again 😊

I had a phenomenal experience. From the second I walked in, everyone was so endearing and accommodating. The spa was majestic and spotless leaving me in awe. Isabella did my facial and was extremely personable and made me feel so comfortable. She knew her product and explained every step of the was what she was doing and how it benefited me. The Hydrafacial is the way to-go. I’ve gotten so many compliments and my skin looks and feels amazing. Absolutely breath taking. Thank you Isabella. I will definitely return and highly recommend Tricoci and Isabella!

I just love visiting this place.Pamper yourself at a classy place with reasonable prices.Very congenial staff, use their app for appointments, I got a single color with Tahlia, and she knows exactly the formula she needed based on a picture color.If you dont want to book an after color blow dry, you are with all the amazing Trococi products, brushes, and blower to yourself to style and walk out all fancy!

I do like the salon. This is my first time visiting this location. Ive only gone maybe 3 times total. However, I feel like for how my make up looked, it was too expensive and couldve done it at home. There was some deal to spend $90 and I was told makeup with my lashes would be free if I purchased $90 worth of products, but I was charged for lashes and literally ended up spending like $120. I asked for full coverage makeup and it was just okay. My eyes looked a little clown/drag-like as well and I asked for a smokey eye. I did like the lashes that I had but the ends werent as secure as I hoped. I also felt like the makeup kind of made my face a little oily. Overall, my experience that day (last week) wasnt too too bad...the makeup artist was nice,, but it also wasnt the greatest for what I completely asked for.

I have gotten an endless amount of Brazilian blowouts and keratin treatments throughout my life, and she by FAR has been the best of all time. She teaches you on how to take care of your hair and she makes sure every centimeter of your hair is flawless before you leave. She’s also the educator here and I have learned so much! My hair has never been better and every time I leave the salon with Bambi, my hair is perfection.

Its probably a really good color salon but if youre just interested in a cut I would go elsewhere. The time window they designate for cuts is too short (45 min for long hair) which means they dont really have time to do client consults and if theyre running even slightly behind it really impacts your experience. The last time I went I booked a stylist I hadnt seen before. She ran late and didnt arrive until after my shampoo. When she arrived, she just had to start whacking away at my wet hair that she had never seen dry or styled with no consult. Thats one of their most premium priced stylists. The premium prices just didnt match the experience imo.

Best blow out you can get in the city, 10/10 recommend! I booked my hair cut and blow out with Lauren, and she did such an efficient and beautiful job.

I scheduled a virtual consultation at Tricoci for extensions (a rather expensive service) and when the salon tech, Ruby, had trouble with the zoom call, I was given her personal number. How lovely, I thought. Well, I messaged her right away but she didnt respond until I sent a follow up message seeing if my initial message went through. She then asked if we could chat Monday. Not great, but fine, I guess, besides the poor communication. I responded to her the next morning. No response. I sent her a ? the following day. No response. This is unacceptable. Outrageously unprofessional.

Having just moved to the area I felt that Mario Tricoci’s reputation was a safe bet and booked an appointment for a single process hair color. My stylist did a fine job, however I was surprised to learn that my hair color did not include a blow dry. I’d have to pay extra for that service. I was quoted a price for the added blow dry and scheduled it on the spot because when I leave a salon I like to leave with a professional finished look. At the end when I went to pay I discovered the blow dry was actually more than what I was quoted. I’m disappointed. I felt tricked into paying for an additional service and then misrepresented with the cost. I’ll know better next time.

Lauren was my stylist for a blow dry. I am not from the area and booked here because it was super close to my hotel. I was going in blind. Now I have a lot of hair so it can be intimidating for some. But we briefly talked about what I wanted for my blow dry and she gave me exactly that. She did an amazing job, we had a great conversation too! If I ever come back to Chicago she will be my girl - and if anyone is in the area see Lauren 10/10!!

My sister and I scheduled a spa day while visiting downtown Chicago. The person I spoke to to make the appts, did an amazing job getting us both the services we wanted. We both had a full body massage, a facial and a blow out! If I lived closer, I would be back again in a heartbeat!!

Nicole, a technician who did my perm, not only lied about the service charge and forced me to get a haircut which I did not want to. When I booked the service, I was told the cost would be about $100. It turned out to be $350. Nicole also had no patience and did not want to hear my feedback about my own hair. Avoid this place at all cost!

I have been a client of Nelida’s at this location for many years and it’s hard to put into words how fantastic she is. She’s an absolute professional as she is able to just look at you and know which color will have your hair looking fabulous and your complexion glowing! Since I’ve been her client, the condition of my hair as improved dramatically as she also knows which products to recommend to suit your individual hair needs. Each time I leave an appointment with her I feel beautiful and confident because I know I look my very best. Try her and you too will leave the Salon looking like a star!!!

So the colorists here kind of rock, for one thing. The stylists and colorists have weird names but they’re really friendly. I’m not implying that those with weird names are unfriendly, just to clear that up. I personally, like weird names. So , ok. Also, just fun to be on the mag mile every few months, I must convey. They have 10 smackers parking in the bldg with validation. I think it’s for 3 hours, so you need to really kick it to get in a quick trip to h and m within that window. If you try to make that happen, you will be rewarded though, with relatively cool jeans for a decent sum. S’great, really.

Brilliant light and energy!! Extremely diverse and dynamic staff.. This week I attended a spectacular event launch at this wonderful salon. Everyone was happy and the professional services made you feel like a VIP no matter the cost. Taking a special moment for yourself is well worth it at this salon. I was very disappointed with their service and if I could would give this place 0 stars.I had booked an appointment for a manicure and pedicure with nail art and stones. My appointment was at 4:30 and they didn’t take me until 5:00 pm. Once I finally was serviced, they said my appointment was for a basic manicure as opposed to the nail art appointment I originally booked. This was very frustrating since I confirmed the appointment type multiple times with the receptionist.Once I chose my nail color (a standard white color), which was off their rack, the manicurist told me it was too difficult of a color to apply and the application was extremely untidy. When I asked the associate to tidy her application, she got upset with me and said I should have never chosen this color and she didn’t have time as another customer was waiting. Additionally, I received no massages or treatment prior to nail application. She rushed my appointment even though she took me 30 minutes late.My nails looked worse after being done.For my pedicure, I had a similar experience where the application was extremely untidy and the pedicurist was extremely rude.The entire experience for both a manicure and pedicure lasted me almost three hours. This was an awful experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I went here for the first time because my colorist graduated Mario Tricocis school and is employed at this location. The parking was relatively easy to find, but the elevator situation is wonky--you have to go up to the 6th floor to get to the stores, but the stores are on floors 1-6, so you may have to find another elevator to go down to get to the level you want. The salon is nice and bright and clean, and I was checked in quickly despite it being the busy holiday season. My colorist, Emily, came to find me right away. She has done my color twice as a student and I havent let anyone else do it because shes so good. I can tell her what I want or what Im thinking, and she can pull up a list of pictures of hair colors. I pick what I want, she mixes it, and it comes out exactly like I wanted. My hair was so soft and Ive gotten compliments about the color everywhere Ive gone. Prices are so reasonable, too--I got a single process color for $45 (not including tip). The service was great. Emily and I chatted while she did my hair because we know each other, but other customers were working on laptops and phones and were not bothered. Highly recommend Emily and this location!

Read this before going to the Chicago Location...This place has gone down hill with regard to both their technicians and with their unprofessional and rude management... it used to be a great place to get my nails done (I have been going for nearly a year now) I recently paid for a no-chip manicure that lasted 7 days. It was incredibly thin and the technician most likely accidentally put regular nail polish on, which is what caused the chipping. (There is no way to prove it, but do these nails look like a no-chip to you?). I called to get it sorted out and the the entire situation was handled unprofessionally. I wasnt able to come in during their allotted period of time for a re-do and they made me essentially beg for an extension. ( For anyone wondering why I couldnt go, its because Im studying for the BAR EXAM that is next week). After having to speak with 2 sales representatives, a store representative, and a manager, they finally agreed to give me an extension. However, the manager told me that she was marking it on my account that I was never allowed to do this again in a disrespectful tone (what was the intentionality behind that comment? She should have ensured me that their mistake would never happen again). I decided in that moment, this was not a place I felt comfortable even being at anymore! I am so disappointed in the lack of respect for their loyal clients I wanted to share my story... I have never written a review before. They are just giving me a refund of the difference between a no-chip and a regular polish... What a shame! DO NOT GO! & if you do, I hope you arent as disappointed as I am!

The spa got us in for two massages with 2 days notice after another spa in the area cancelled my appointment last minute. They were all friendly. AJ did our massages. She was great! Did an awesome job! Highly recommend!

Nelinda did my color , very unprofessional not worth the money. Did my color and didn’t even cover hair completely .Hair Assistants gossip about customers especially the male hair assistant and got very bad attitude.I liked this place before but, lately it’s unbelievable how unprofessional it became. I used to come there to relax not to listen to gossips and unprofessional attitude from young male hair assistant who gossips about other people !

This place is a rip off. The stylist was snooty and kept insulting my hair in order to try to upsell products/services. Then they make you either stand there and hair dry your own hair or you can pay $50-70 to have someone dry it for you? This is an expensive place, drying should be included. Worst of all, my dark color faded back to a dirty blonde after one wash. What a joke. I paid over $100+ tip for a color that faded and to dry my own hair. Avoid at all costs.

I have had some good haircuts, but I have had some not so great ones. It depends on who is your stylist or the mood of the day. I wish I could leave the salon feeling good about my hair, but the feeling at my last visit was just blah.

It’s a high end so expect to spend more than average prices, but for the best services it’s totally worth it.Arianna for hair and Rebecca for waxing are the best. They understand your needs and also give suggestions without being pushy. The waiting area is made very welcoming and receptionists have always been courteous and friendly.

I was a longtime, loyal customer years ago. But the last time I went I decided it is no longer for me. First, I had to wait a while even though I had an appointment. And even when you get color or a cut, this salon charges you extra if you want your hair blow dried. Im no longer okay leaving with my hair wet. Youd think they would want to dry your hair to make sure your color and cut are right. And it is in the basement of the building with no windows.

When I first moved to Chicago I was really nervous about finding a new colorist. I am naturally a light brown and have had platinum blonde for years, doing touch-ups every 3 weeks with my super trusted stylist. Anyone who has gone platinum blonde knows that it can be challenging to keep the hair healthy, without getting lines, and without looking yellow. I was referred to David at the Michigan location by a coworker, and THANK GOODNESS! He is a hair magician, and such a pleasure to sit for. I get constant compliments on the color and healthiness of my hair, and its all because of David. I highly recommend him, and the salon as a whole. The waiting area is lovely, with many yummy complimentary refreshments to choose from. Everyone is very professional and friendly, and I think the prices are very reasonable for the quality of services.

Very disappointing. I had very high expectations for this salon as it has gotten good reviews however once I arrived at the salon and met with the hair dresser she was very rude from the start, she then proceeded to tell me that my expectations were too high, and that she was getting off soon so she didn’t have time to do my hair although I had an appointment and had blocked the proper amount of time on her schedule. Now I understand dying hair is a bit tricky however all I was asking was to go from blonde to light brown. In the end she refused to do my hair and I walked out with the same exact hair I walked in with. My appointment was at 3:15 and I was walking out by 3:30, she barely gave me the time of day. Will not be returning or recommending this salon to anyone.

I have been a long time loyal client to the Orland Park location, and I absolutely adore Sarah and Jordan for my haircut and highlights. I moved to Florida and still made appts at Mario for such great quality care. After seeing them for 10 years, my family moved downtown. I recently took the redeye from Sarasota, FL to make my appt at the Chicago location. I waited 20 minutes without being seated although everyone around me had been seated immediately. The lady at the front desk sat me, but I had to move seats and then was not acknowledged by anyone for another 20 minutes. Now running late, my highlights were completely rushed. My hair color didn’t turn out as planned, and I did not get a quality customer service in any fashion. Luckily, Alison cut my hair and eased my furry. She was very nice. The check out process took a long time as well causing the store manager needing to help and apologize for such a delay to check out. Just want to point out that I filled out the customer survey after my appointment and no follow up was made. For spending over $400 that day at the salon, I am still extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this Chicago location. For good service and a place where they care about you, go see orland park!

I had received an 80 minute CBD Synergy massage from Erasmo. Not even exaggerating, this was hands down the best massage Ive ever gotten in my life. He is phenomenal, I booked my appointment and joined the wellness club, I cant wait to come back for another!

Highly recommend Ruby at the Chicago Michigan Avenue location for all of your hair extension needs, especially the K-Tip extensions. I have blonde hair with varying tones and she perfectly blends my extensions with my color. Ruby is absolutely phenomenal - both personality and skill wise! If you want or need extensions, she’s your girl!!!

If you are looking at this place as a potential school to get a beauty education, pass it up! The director of this school retaliates against her students and oversteps her authority over the matter of opinion. 10/10 would not recommend .

Ive been to this location multiple times for massages and pedicures. I love the fact that you are welcomed by friendly staff members and the atmosphere is instantly calming. They allow you to the opportunity to relax and reboot without pressuring you to leave. I highly recommend this Mario Tricoci and specifically this downtown location.

Great customer service and very happy with my cut. The atmosphere was a little intimidating with all the hustle bustle, but it was still organized and personalized. My stylist gave me great product recommendations only after I asked for them. I didnt feel like they were trying to push sales on me. Will be going back!

Amazing place and products! To 900 Michigan I have been visiting more then a year now! Never disappointed with the service and the products what they offer. Only one time I wasnt satisfied with a facial because the person who did that mainly focused on the money and to sell the product I could feel that. But overall I love the place. Ingrida is an awesome person so friendly and love her spa. I always recommend her services, never get disappointed with her and the products what she offered to me!

I went to Mario Tricoci Spa for the first time this weekend and was very pleased with the experience. The spa environment is very serene and the perfect place to disconnect and recharge. The locker room space is clean and I enjoyed all the Mario Tricoci products. The spa robes are soft and comfortable. I had a facial with Ingrida and my skin has never looked better. I am amazing by its glow one day later. She took time to discuss my skin and my concerns then recommended the best facial for my needs (with cost consideration...it was comparable to what I had booked in advanced). She explained things to me and gave me great tips for how to keep my skin looking great. I’ve also never had facial where the extractions didn’t hurt and this time I barely felt them thanks to Ingrida’s gentle technique. It was very relaxing and my skin feels and looks great. I also had a massage with Mecia and it was so good. I basically melted into the table and when it was done I immediately regretted booking only 50 minutes with her. My shoulders and neck which have been a problem area for weeks are so relaxed and loose today. She creates a very relaxing environment and really works out knots without pain. After my services I took advantage of the quiet room to regroup and relax for just a little longer. The plush couches, soft blankets and dim room was the perfect place to get in just a little bit more relaxation before returning to reality. I will definitely be back.

In the past I have had the best service ever, but few months ago I went back for a trim and the guy totally mess up my long layers. I was very disappointed because I had long hair and my goal was keep it that way. Well, called to complain they booked me for a re-cut instead this time I made sure to book an appointment with David G but unfortunately I was 15 minutes late and they assigned me to another stylist, if I would’ve have known I should have just gone to the neighborhood hair salon. I only agreed because parking is almost $20 dollars took me an hour to get there so I took my chances and end up with short uneven hair. Her excuse was “you don’t have a lot hair” “ you have to style it every day so it can look nice”I regret going back later I found out that she does not have the experience that David or Mike have, the two people who I initially had trusted my hair with.Hopefully I can find a stylist that can get rid of the mess, it’s hard to find someone who can listen to your requests.DO NOT BOOK APPOINTMENTS WITH ANYONE, CHECK THEIR REVIEWS AND EXPERIENCE FIRST!!

Ive being going to Juan Jose at the Chicago location since last May or so, and absolutely love him. I think hes a senior stylist, so his price is a bit higher than Id normally like to spend, but he does an amazing job on my hair.He rotates between Chicago and some of the burb locations, so it was hard for me to get him on a weekend, so I went one day on my lunch hour (one of those days where I needed to get away and be pampered and beautified). He did an amazing job straightening my hair after the cut (my hair is coarse, thick, and I have a LOT of it), and upon returning to the office, I got TONS of compliments and comments on my hair. Loved it so much that I went during lunch again the second time, and again lots of compliments. Made sure to time my hair cut right around Halloween so that I wouldnt have to fight with my hair. And voila, thanks to a little dry shampoo, I had picture-perfect hair for all of Halloween weekend. :D

I have used this salon several times. Unfortunately they have high turnaround on staff..I never loved the color they do, but never complained. This time however I did. Base color was fair..but faceframing highlights were terrible. Even the hair stylist agreed. The colorist and salon offered a redo or toner. The problem was the color and technique. I asked for a refund on the partial highlights only. The manager said she would have to see it..I wasnt about to spend more money going back. She said to send pics..I did. She still declined a refund. Dont use this salon..horrible customer service.

Colleen is the best. Dee was good too. The locker area was clean. It was unfortunate that they only had 1 bathroom. I can only imagine that on a busy day that could turn into a problem. Other than that, I didnt experience any issues.

I would highly recommend Mario Tricoci for your bridal hair and make-up needs. It was very easy to work with Andrea over email to set-up the appointments, and they were very accommodating for getting people done at the same time. When we had to change our wedding plans due to COVID, they were very accommodating in altering the number of people getting ready. And the day of they did their best to put us all near each other while still abiding by the social distancing rules. Everyone’s hair and makeup turned out great. Special shout out to Ruby for my hair, it looked beautiful, and to Tamryn for my makeup, no one could believe I hadn’t been touched up all day since the make-up stayed perfectly even on the extremely hot July day. If you’re getting married in Chicago, you can’t go wrong with Mario Tricoci.

Best dye I have had, maybe ever! Summer was super thorough in her consultation and gave great maintenance tips. A little pricey, so get their $20 coupon 24 hours before you visit.

While my service was good, customer service was poor. I first was gifted this, was told they had set a card on file and would be able to leave gratuity on it. When I tried to do so, the girl acted both confused and unphased. After this hadnt parking validated, which the promote at $10. Go to the parking ramp and am charged $32. With my two treatments was there for 3hrs 10 minutes, with about a 30 minute+ wait between. When I go back because I was sure this was just a fluke with the machine - Im snobbishly told by another receptionist that its only good for 3hrs. So the validation is null, and I would have to pay the full charge. I had no control over the delay between service, I mentioned both while checking in and after my first session that I had parked. The attitude and lack of responsibility is more than underwhelming. Im honestly not sure how I could have prevented this, and again with them promoting this validation Id at least expect some empathy or acknowledgement that the timing of the service going over was not at fault to me as a client.

I love the staff especially David who is a master with color. Unfortunately, today the salon gets f for a tragic new policy that says my time is not worth the same as another customers. In short until they change their new policy regarding blow outs with color I will find a new salon.

Two stars because the service providers did a great job. No more though because 1) we had group scheduling and one of our group got moved to a different time without notifying us; 2) 3/5 of our group got shorted on time; 3) 5/5 got shorted on the manicures (all we got was color change); and 4) their explanation for all of this, when pointed out the times and services on their web site and what we expected, was that their web site is not up to date. Not acceptable.UPDATE 9/23: I reached out to them at the contact info below because I wanted to give them an opportunity to fix... Never heard back.

Customer service can be better, but Im really really happy with stuff. I had facial couple times ( with Ingrida) and I never ever didnt walk out disappointed. Also I see that couple people are not happy with hair staff, all that I can say is, ask next time for David, I never have problem with him neither.

I had one negative experience here years ago and didnt go back until a few months ago on the recommendation of a colleague of mine. Now Ive changed my opinion; the hair stylist was great-- very efficient, gave me a good cut and style, and all over lunch with time to spare! Ill be going back for more services for sure.

This was an amazing experience I had a facial service. this was my first time they made me feel special although I came for a facial I was able to relieve some stress and tension from my body my back was hurting from spraining a muscle the week before visiting after my service I felt great afterwards I was pain free and stress free I was able to relax. Horrible rude unprofessional place! I would never never use them again . from management down to the hair dressers . .Fish always routes from the top. I do not recommend them at all . my visit was to the Skokie location and my interaction was with the manager of that location who promised to Destroy my profile in their system so I will never be able to receive service from them again ,. Which were her exact words to me after I complained About the service .They defamed me for no reason at all and They take your credit number in advance and charge without authorization . I filed a police report for Fraud and deceptive practices .

I went there with my girlfriend having heard so much about the salon. The salon looked nice, professional. I was impressed and wanted to make an appointment but the receptionist gave me quite an incredulous look like how dare I make an appointment same day on a weekend... I noted how I was here with my girlfriend and had thought there may have been a cancellation, etc. I guess I didnt appreciate the condescension. Anyways, her haircut was quite fabulous--I just got the receptionist on a bad day. Will give it another shot another day

The wax specialist burned and ripped the skin off my face before my 40 birthday and 5 years cancer free celebration. It looks like my post was taken down. So I’ll just keep posting. The entire experience was ruined. They didn’t even offer to take the entire purchase off. It’s a shame. I’m so sad I’m going to look so bad at a time where I want to celebrate and feel beautiful. But Mario T ruined that.

There are things I dont love like the fact that if you only get your hair colored not cut you have to blow dry and style yourself and there is almost always a long line to use a blow dryer. I also dont love that the people in the spa try to upsell during your massage of facial. The amazing job Myra the hair colorist does makes up for all of that! She is so precise and offers great suggestions to enhance what youre asking for rather than trying to peruade you to do something totally different.

5 Stars for my colorist Bethany and 5 Stars for my stylist Patrick. Convenient location. You can cancel the same day and not get charged so long as you reschedule. If youre looking for a solid salon with good technicians this is for you.

I have been coming to Mario Tricoci on and off for years, it was very convenient when I worked across the street. Ive had some great stylists here but I dont love having a separate person do your hair cut and someone else do your color.Bonus - they do great manicures!

A little small and crowed while having to wait, but they know how to cut my hair just right and my stylist makes me feel so Prudy!! I love coming here I can put up with the minor mishaps , she always helps me come up with a new style and it is perfect every time, a good cut and color are important yanno! Pricey for some but I am telling you worth every penny!

Delightful staff but the rest was a disappointment and border disaster. I showed a colorist what I wanted IN A PIX on their wall . She couldnt get it right. Was there almost 5 hours as she re did it 2x still with ?? results! WAY TO $$$ Came back to get makeup make over the next week and had all kinds of thick dough all over my face. the eye makeup took forever and included white line next to y eyeball. (got red eye) . All friends hated it and even laughed. I looked like Adams family. Took 45 minutes to get it off. But love the gals! Feel bad with this.

I found a new massage therapist and his name is Enrique Madrid. I have had back pain for over 20 years but since I have been going to see Enrique, I now wake up with no pain. He really thinks about how to heal you and tries different techniques, then the next week he builds upon that. He doesnt hurt me at all. I can tell he really cares about my healing and wants to help me get better. Since I have arthritis, he always removes the cap of the water bottle and sits with me until I drink the water and feel capable of going home. I get a little dizzy afterwards but thats a good sign as it shows the fluids are moving within my body. If you want to get better, go see Enrique Madrid. Hes the best. You will not be disappointed!

I made a last minute appointment for a massage because my neck was killing me! I did the 25 min Go To Go Massage with Deanna and in that short amount of time she worked on my tense shoulders, neck, and upper back. At the end she gave me exercises to do on my own to stretch out my muscles and gave me many pointers of how to better take care of my body to avoid tense muscles. I would highly recommend Deanna and hope to see her again soon for a full 80 min massage!

Things to expect:1. Friendly staff… 2. Even though you have an appointment for a certain time, expect to wait at least 15min extra… 3. Signed up for a certain service? Expect to have additional services, that were not done or asked for, be added to your invoice… 4. Be on the phone the next day explaining to three different people that your invoice is incorrect and do math for them… 5. Shake your head and smile…

Great Salon! Jessica does an awesome job with color! I like that they have different stylist that do color or cut as where they specialize in. They are very talented in their specialty areas and are trained well!

I got a haircut from Freddie and he was amazing! I felt safe and secure because he was vaccinated and boosted and they were taking safety precautions in the salon. I will definitely go back to Freddie!!

Awful. My girl who did my blow out had an attitude the whole time. I did nothing to her to instigate such rudeness. I was supposed to get my makeup done after but Nina decided it was cool to not let her client know she was running 30 min behind. Bad customer service. Had to cancel makeup bc I was late for an event. Awful service and awful people.

Scam! They tried to tell me that I had to come in to at least three sessions to achieve the color I desired. Not true. I went to the Colour Room and they gave me the look I wanted that day. So disappointed in Mario’s lately. I think most of their training these days is about business and how to upsell the client rather than the art of the hair. Shame on you Mario Tricoci’s.

Made hair appointment the day before for a haircut. Arrived a few minutes late but waited 10 mins for the Receptionist to finally get through the line. She then told me that my appointment had to be rescheduled.Please do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else. Will never be back - horrible customer service.

Beautiful salon - so sad its hidden! There is a great group of technicians at this location - especially Rebekkah the Esthetician! The guest services reps are always friendly and helpful with recommending technicians based on your needs and strategically scheduling a mornings worth of treatments to maximize relaxation. The spa in the back is removed from the loud, fast paced hair cut/color floor (its undergoing rehabilitation currently to make it even better). I suspect this is the premier location of all Mario Tricoci Salons!

Poor customer service to someone who’s been coming for over 2 years. Beware of a stylist named Dolly who provided me with the worst service I’ve ever been given. She was on her phone and tested me about what stylists I have seen (a policy about free bang trims had changed which wasn’t made clear to customers). Will never be coming back again.

Chelsea was my hairstylist and she did an amazing job. She is professional, polite, and very skilled. The overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend this hair salon.

Jennifer is wonderful! My nails have never looked better. So relaxing, too! I highly recommend.

A coworker recommended this place to me and Im glad I listened. David did a great job of cutting my hair. My hair looked healthy and shiny once he was done cutting it and styling it.

Never disappointed w end result but felt a little neglected at last appointment...*UPDATE*...(Never say never applies here)had a terrible experience with the last appointment. I paid WAY too much for a jacked up cut and color. Feeling neglected at the previous appointment for this review, was nothing like the finished results after my appointment in March 2020...WILL NOT MAKE ANOTHER BAD CHOICE...REVERIE SALON, I AM COMING FOR YOU

I was charged $150 for a small trim :( I feel completely scammed and upset as I was not told the price beforehand. Would not recommend this salon.

The best color I have ever had in my whole life. I moved 1500 miles away and I fly in just to have my hair colored and cut. I tried two very high end Salons in my new city and they did not come close to Mario Tricoci.

Ive been going to Marcia at this location for 8 years now & she is amazing. Shes friendly, professional & will always make you laugh. Trust me, this is the only place you need to go for special services and Marcia is the only person you need to see.Tip: She only works Tues - Thurs...but works early & late some days to accommodate most peoples 9-5 schedules.

Note to the management of Tricoci: please train Miguel how to do a front desk job. He is all over the place, and got snippy when I challenged him. Eye rolling, attitude - not Tricoci standard :( He is probably trying his best, just needs a little help with training on customer service side. Why agitate a good customer?

I was very displeased with the payment process. I called ahead of time to make an appointment and told them I had a new client referral code for $20 off a service. They offered me another promo ($115 gift card for $100) but they said it could not be used with the new client referral- so I passed on the offer during the call.When I went to pay, they no longer took the referral code (for no apparent reason) and would not let me buy the gift card to use towards my service. The manger would offer me no discount or new client special because of an error on their side.Very unhappy with the way it was handled and will not be going back.

Ive been using Mario Tricoci for close to 3 years, and I love it there! The service is great, the stylists are on top of everything, and get to know you on a personal level. Hassle free hair cuts, my kind of place.

Oksana is the best with cuts! She has years of experience and an intuitive sense and understanding of what youre looking to achieve, even if youre not that great at explaining. Just love her.

It does cost more than most places but to have piece of mind while there are scissors near your hair is worth the extra $15-$20. Chelsea is wonderful, quick, sweet and very talented!

Sorry!!! But my opinion is NOTHING GOOD!! The hair stylist was really nice, but the hair products I think they use are bad quality because it is impossible to believe that in less than 10 days, I am equally before I did go there.. and I payed for FULL keratine, really expensive for any results

Mario Tricoci Hair Salon are genuine, real hair stylist. Best saloon I have ever.Definitely recommended. The wait can be longer in the evenings or weekends but they are the best

Not experienced with natural hair, although i will credit they tried to be gentle. Asked for a red color, showed him the pic, got a brown with some random streaks. Some parts you cant even tell were colored. Will have to wait a week or so and buy some box color and color it myslef.

Somebody named Diamond cut my hair. She burned my scalp after I told her it was already too hot (so that would be twice that she burned it), she broke a roundbrush because she was moving so quickly to dry my hair, and, she was cutting my hair with one hand. Meaning the scissor hand. If this is what Mario accepts as their junior level stylist, I wont be returning.

Great service and Jackie was very patient with my inexperienced self. Of course now, I need these services on the regular rather than as the conclusion to losing a bet. Pedicure was fantastic

Don’t waste your time or money going here , I booked an appointment and drove 2 hours to come to this location only for them to tell me that they didn’t want to do my hair plus the person I had was absolutely rude as can be, I left the salon in tears that’s how rude she was to me . I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! If I could give zero stars I would!

A decent spa, they have some of everything. Very rigid with their policies though.

Very disappointed. I got my hair done in May (I know this is a little late). The coloring was so bad that I had to go to another Salon and pay $273 to get it fixed because it was only 5 days before I left on vacation. Really bad service. I will never go there again.

Worst mani Ive ever had. Nails were filed unevenly. She put globs of polish on each finger some of it landing on my nail & proceeded to dab it all over the place. When I pointed out a bubble in her work she just polished right over it. Awful.

Peyton does such an amazing job with balayage!! And she takes the time to figure out what will work best based on what you want and the level of maintenance you want! Shes amazing!!!!
