Yesenia Saad Modern Health & Beauty is an excellent salon! I have been going once per month for nine months and love the treatments. I was treated for light rosacea and it has completely gone away. Now I am getting facials for skin improvement and they are wonderful. I highly recommend this fantastic salon! The staff are so nice and helpful.

Ive had several sessions at Yesenia Saad with Danielle. The office is very clean, and Karina at the front desk is very helpful and friendly. Danielle has been great as a technician-was very sad to hear she was moving to Colorado! She always made me feel comfortable, was very friendly and made the session go by like a breeze.I originally purchased a Groupon for full bikini laser removal, however am continuing services; appointments are easy to schedule and Ive definitely noticed progress in less growth! Excited to finally not have to worry about that area!

I have had a great experience at this spa. I’ve been a customer for a while now. Yesenia has done amazing treatment recommendations for my skin type and have had great results. I’m very happy and recommend this place 100%. The staff has always been nice and accommodating. Also, I appreciate that they have payment plan options.

Update: 3 years ago this team reached out to offer a free service to make up for this issue when they reopened and took my info to schedule a service. They never followed up and never did anything to make up for no showing. Doubly disappointing._______I REALLY wanted to try this place. They seemed amazing from their website. I had microdermabrasion set up for today. Like most places, they ask you to arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in and complete any necessary paperwork/waivers, etc. so I did. I left work for my appointment instead of clocking in some overtime and traveled to the office.I arrive and there’s no one there. Lights are out, door is locked, no one answers the bell. It says they are by appointment only so I shrug it off, thinking someone will arrive soon to open up and get everything set up. I wait and 15 minutes pass with no one. My appointment is coming up and I’m getting anxious. I check my email and see no updates from them so I figure I’m still good. It’s 10 minutes to start and I realize if there’s much paperwork I may need to reschedule because I only allotted myself an hour for my 50 minute appointment.I wait the entire rest of the time and then beyond, until after the start out of courtesy so I could let them know directly that I didn’t have time and would need come another time. No one ever arrives. I don’t pass anyone leaving. As far as I know, no one ever came.I understand that emergencies happen, traffic slows you down, whatever but let your client know. Email or call them so they know what’s happening. By the time I account for travel to and from I wasted an hour and a half of my day. By cutting out before getting in optional overtime, I actually LOST $35 to waste that time.Two stars because their service may be amazing. They may be wonderful people. Your experience might be wildly different from my own. But I can’t tell you because no one ever bothered to show up. 😩

Yesenia is the absolute best! The office is beautiful and well maintained. Yesenia could not be sweeter and really listens to any issues you are having - she then comes up with customized solutions for you. She is very generous and has gone above and beyond to make sure I am getting the service that I need. She even squeezed me in for a couple procedures when their books were full. I have been coming to Yesenia Saad salon for almost 3 years and it is one of my most favorite places to be at. I have completed multiple services here, facials, lazer hair removal and body contouring. And every time I leave this place I am more beautiful and more confident. I have been a member with Yesenia for two years since they open. I will say they are the best med spa for those I have tried in downtown Chicago. I did RF micro needling, Plasma facial, IPLs, and more. I can see results over time since I do it regularly. The staff also very friendly. Definitely recommend yesenia if you are down in the area for some med spa treatment.

Yesenia is the best! I have been with her for almost a year now and my face looks great. Ive never felt more confident to go out without makeup. I started to see her because I had brown spots, I went to a few other places that only care about money and make promises but not results.Yesenia is really honest and cares about her clients I feel so comfortable going to see her.I do microneedling and IPL alternating once a month. This is my favorite med spa! I struggle with adult/hormonal acne and Yesenia has been wonderful and helping me get on track to clearer skin. So far I have done a series of custom facials, an IPL treatment, and a green peel. I trust her because she is very knowledgeable in skin conditions and all the tools/treatments she provides. I appreciate that she outlines a path of treatments that work with my skin instead of one quick treatment. The skin is our largest organ and it can take multiple treatments to get to where we want to be. Yesenia is great at recommending different options that help you reach your goal. She also tests any treatment/tool on herself before offering it to her clients, which is amazing because it has to pass her professional approval before offering it to others. I definitely recommend that you visit this medical spa and request Yesenia as your service provider.

If I could give 6 stars I would. I started coming to Yesenia 7 months ago and cannot get enough. I have had hydrofacials and microdermabrasion done here and absolutely loved my experience and the results are amazing. Yesenia is knowledgeable, passionate and gives genuine advice. Every time I meet with her she customizes my facials to my skin type—a truly unique experience. I have gotten many facials in my life and Yesenia is by far the best I’ve ever been to.One of my first appointments with Yesenia was for a hydrofacial plus extraction of a very stubborn pimple. I was desperate for her help since I had a wedding to attend 3 days following. She customized my facial and even included various therapies to help my situation. Yesenia even texted me the days following to follow up with me. (The pimple healed just in time!). The quality of her service is incomparable.In addition, the spa is in a great location, very clean and the staff is incredibly welcoming. The pricing is very fair and the specials/promos are always such great deals. I’m excited to get the membership and try the many other services Yesenia offers. Highly highly recommend!!

Yesenia is ALL what I was looking for. She is professional, warm, friendly and VEGAN! haha. I feel so comfortable and relax when I go to the spa!! And If you have a car don’t worry about parking, it’s free!!! The equipment is modern, new and in top of the edge. 7 of my friends are now customers after witnessing my results. I’m not kidding!!

A wonderful example of how to turn a bad experience around and into a positive one!Original Review: After many unpleasant experiences at this place due to unorganized processes, I am walking away and leaving my final prepaid laser hair removal session on the table. That is how unfortunate my experience has been. Will try to make this as succinct as possible. 1st visit: I firmly believe nothing was done. I was in and out of the laser appt in under 5 mins. The laser wand was moving so fast in a continued motion up and down my leg that I did not feel any zaps like you normally do when getting laser hair removal. I tried to ask my tech about it but she did not speak English so I asked after my appt about it and was just told thats how our machine works. 2nd visit: I waited for my scheduled appt for over an hour!!! Due to my prior appt lasting 5 mins, I scheduled a dinner reservation 30 mins after this appt that I showed up to over 45 mins late. They gave me a $25 gift card for the inconvenience but not like Ill be using that anyways. This appt lasted the normal amount of time for a laser hair removal session and I felt the laser zaps. I was in my session for about 15 mins. So this confirms my sentiment that nothing was done during that 1st appt so basically a wasted session. Cool!! 3rd session: showed up to my appt to a locked and closed business. I was told they were closed due to Covid and that You should have received an email about this cancellation. I did not. So I wasted another almost 2 hours commuting to/from this business during rush hour traffic for an appt that did not happen. After I communicated this to them, they then sent out a mass SMS letting everyone know they were closed for the next 12 days and sorry for those who showed up to the business without warning. Literally absurd. Pick up the phone and call your customers and let them know their appts are cancelled! Come on now. Then nobody answered voicemails or emails until they reopened 2 weeks later. So my next appt was booked further out b/c I could not secure a reschedule until after they reopened. My last and final appt with this business was on a Saturday. They called me repeatedly (3 times) that morning and when I finally called them back I was told that their day had pretty much cancelled and lots of openings and asked if I wanted to come in earlier than my scheduled appt. I said I was heading to another appt but could call them after and let them know timing and if it worked great, if not Id keep my original appt time. She said no need to call! Just come in whenever! and I asked If I come in, am I going to have to wait or will I get right in? She said no waiting! Just head in! No need to call! I replied OK, Ill call anyways after my appt just to make sure? to which she replied ok, thats fine. we will be here! With her lax statements about not needing to call, I just headed there straight after my other appt. Silly me, should have followed my gut and my suggestion to call b/c when I arrived she told me it would be an hour until they could get me in! When she could see my frustration she snapped back at me You said you were going to call and I said you told me I didnt need to call and to just come in! She was trying to turn it around on me as if I had done something wrong by coming in earlier as requested. Just literal insanity this place. My scheduled appt was not for another 2 hours and she could not get me in to their open schedule for an hour. So I just said cancel my appt and walked out.

The hair laser removal treatment is amazing. I couldn’t be happier with the results and is totally pain free! The space is new, nice and clean and Yesenia is the best!

Went to this Spa to treat my Rosacea with a treatment called Photo Facial. After a couple sessions, the Rosacea is completely gone. The pain during the treatment is minimal and there is no down time afterwards. The Spa is pristine and the staff is very helpful.

Yesenia has done it again!I received my very first SUPREME LIFT and the results were IMMEDIATE!Yesenia has the hands of a sculptor & I’m looking forward to my next treatment of the same service in 2 weeks!!!❤️

Hard to even find this place in the building, the people who work here do not invest in clients or try to develop a relationship.They charge a ridiculous *$50* cancellation fee, yes, that is right -- $50 -- for a missed appointment, with no one-time forgiveness policy or working with you as a customer, even if you did not receive their messages or have to reschedule due to the uncertainty of life.This is not communicated up-front and again there is no flexibility from their side.As someone who has worked in customer service my entire career, working with clients on these types of things is an easy way to turn a souring relationship into a good one, but this place just doesnt care. Honestly, Id be more upset if the services were great, but its run of the mill and frankly it is oftentimes challenging to communicate with staff due to language barriers.

I went to this spa to get facials for my acne. I had about 5 sessions and there was no change. The prices were super expensive and not worth it. I wasted time and money. I wouldn’t go back even if they were to give me a free facial. I would give this place no stars.

Extremely unprofessional. Do not book with them. They create appointment slots that they do not respect. They do not provide adequate means for you to access the location in the building, nor do they provide ways to contact them when you cannot get up to their location.

I bought a shaving treatment but it didn’t work as they promised.When I made the complaint the owner of the place was very rude with me and she even threatened me.I think she should be more polite with her clients because her services are very expensive for them not work.I feel frustrated of losing my money in a stupid way

I have been visiting the Yessenia spa for a year. Yessenia, apart from being an excellent professional, is an incredible human being, each appointment with her is a unique experience without forgetting her work team who, from the moment you arrive at the spa, provide you with the best care and service. .I have had almost all facial treatments, they all work and you see incredible results, my skin is always flattered.I recommend purchasing the membership first because the price is incredible and second because having “perfect” skin requires excellent professionals and perseverance.This way they can try a different treatment each month according to their needs and Yessenia is always willing to advise you according to your skin and your needs which is the correct treatment and in what order because each skin is different and each person has a different objective.I recommend laser hair removal on the entire body, it does not hurt and apart from removing the hair, it helps with the skin tone in those areas.Plasma therapy or PRP is my favorite, it helps you with skin texture, tone, minimizes pores, the results are immediate.My other favorites are IPL, costum facial, RF microneedling and Bodyshape.I have always taken care of my skin and I have visited different places in the city but in Chicago my favorite and the best is Yessenia Saad because you find quality, service, professionalism and the latest in technology.

I am impressed and super happy with the results I have had since starting the laser at this spa. Years ago I tried to get lasers done all over my body in Venezuela but it was very painful and I didnt want to continue. I started again with this laser technology without knowing if it would be effective but the truth is that it has gone WONDERFUL, from the 3rd session I saw the changes in all areas, even the color of my armpits improved 100% and best of all The fact is that WITHOUT any PAIN, I go to my appointments happy because the atmosphere is also super relaxing. I started my treatment in this place several months ago since I have been having acne problems for 3 years, my face was completely stained because I squeezed it frequently. In my initial consultation, Yesenia explained to me the reasons why I could be having an acne breakout and made me understand that this process consists of improving from the inside so that everything works. The first month and a half I felt like it wasnt working, but after my third IPL session I started to notice a difference, the acne no longer appeared like before and it started to get under control from then on. Nowadays I feel much better about myself, I can notice the difference in the spots that were very noticeable and have already been lightening. I will continue my treatment until I achieve the porcelain face that I so desire, trusting both Yesenia and her staff who give you INCREDIBLE attention, the atmosphere you feel from the moment you enter until you leave is 100% professional. I have been visiting the spa since it opened and I would not change it for any other in the city. The experience is so enjoyable from the moment you arrive, the team welcomes you with the best attitude and makes you feel at home. I have had several treatments such as laser hair removal which I love because it is cold and does not hurt. I have also injected platelet-rich plasma into my scalp to help with hair loss and I also apply it to my face to hydrate and eliminate spots. I recommend it, you will love it!!!!!!

My treatment was an IPL to eliminate keratosis, I really saw great changes in the few sessions that I was able to do, the inflammations disappeared almost entirely, only some pigments remained in the skin that would disappear in other sessions, however , for personal reasons I could not continue with the treatment. But I recommend it 100%.
