I came here for a night out with my friend. The music and atmosphere were decent. However, I went to the bar to order a drink from Brian or Byron( it was hard to hear his name over the music, but hes a tallish white guy with semi long black stringy unruly hair) and I had the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. He gave me my drink with sass and attitude, and didnt fill the cup all the way. So I polity asked him to fill it up, he ignored me. So I asked him again and he grabbed the soda spigot and filled it, I then proceed to grab my drink and he decided to fill up my cup to the point it was overflowing onto the bar then sprays my hand. The training they recieve is outrageous, no one should ever experience what I went through. Especially considering I am visiting from out of town for veterans day. Yes, Im a vet and that was how I was treated. I will not be going back here if Im in the area, and I wont be recommending it.

Completely hit or miss, usually depending on the music. Its a fun place for the college and near-college age crowd but it can get sloppy for anyone outside that. Drinks are usually good and the deals are great; if you just want loud music and a fun night of drunk dancing without any expectations, its tough to beat. Just be sure to bring a friend or two.

Overpriced drinks and the music stinks, but thats all right because thats what cubs are. This place overall isnt the worst club youll ever go to, but the complete lack of a service ethic by the staff earns this negative review. The kicker with Roxys was that the coat check girl was ridiculously rude to me for no reason whatsoever. It aint Studio 54 so how about you leave me alone if I dont want to pay to check my fleece jacket. Maybe if they fire her itd be worth another chance.

The security guys CAN be rude. I was once turned down for wearing black joggers that are essentially the same as jeans. Then the guy told me if I gave him $5 he could look past it. Pretty sleazy. Mostly a pretty intoxicated crowd, but at least the dance floor is usually pretty decent.

Roxys is one of Columbias hottest night clubs! The demographic is likely 3:1 female to male ratio on any given night of the week. Wed, Thur, Fri, & Sat tend to attract the most people. If you enjoy dancing, drinking and socializing Roxys is the move.

So so music with drinks that dont reflect the prices you pay. The bartenders are basic and if it has more than two ingredients they probably cant make it, thats from personal experience...maybe my top wasnt low enough, who knows..... I imagine if youre a sorostitute though its the bees knees for finding your weekend STD donor.

Wonderful! One cover charge, two atmospheres. The downstairs in fun and exciting while the upstairs is all about the dancing. Loved it.

I dont rate many things one star but this place is trash. Gross all around, smells bad, always has cover for nothing special to offer. Plus this is where multiple shooting have stemmed from in downtown Columbia.

Avoid Roxys at all cost. The Penguin Piano Bar is worth a stop if visiting town, but can get old quick if youre local.

The place has gone downhill lately. Drink specials have gone up in price and most of the bartenders are a bit rude, as are the door guys. Not the first place I look to go out downtown anymore.

Ripped me off gave them 20 and received $2 back for a beer noticed immediately and bartender refused to refund walked away ignored me owner is a sleeze bag told me he believed his bartender I’m betting this is happening to lots of people but I was soBer so caught it can’t wait til Columbia prohibition puts them under back to prison you go owner reporting to attorney generals office how your ripping off consumers

Really cheap drinks on some nights. A nightclub to the fullest extent. Overall, its hard not to have a good time once you get in.

GREAT drink specials on wed-fri. Good service. But the DJs are awful.

Really? A bar that wont let people that ARENT in college in after midnight? Cant wait to see them bankrupt!

Love it here! My go-to . Go early to avoid the lines! Especially on thursdays!

Worst place ever, securities are rude, they push me down to the stairs, and they refuse to apologize and denying it, is that how they treat foreigners?
