Such a wonderful salon, the staff is very friendly and welcoming! Gwen did a spectacular job on my hair and kept me well informed during the entire process explaining why she was taking the steps she took and what the outcome would look like. She showed a lot of care for my hair as well as excitement for the finished product, i will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful place to go to. Julie did a fantastic job with my hair! Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. My hair looks AMAZING!! Julie is the best hair dresser I have ever been to, and Lindsey did a fantastic job styling my hair into mermaid waves! 10/10 recommended.

UPDATE: Owner called @ 8:18pm Thursday night to apologize, take fully responsibility & offered to refund the money. She stated that she watched the stylist today do a layered cut & realized how she could have come to the mistakes she made. She said I could go in on Friday to pick up the refund. Then, Friday morning I receive a text asking me to remove the negative review as a condition of the refund. Very unprofessional & I decided I would not be bought. If You are given bad service by a stylist, you get an honest review of that service.Do not go to Papillon salon inConroe. Took my 10 year girl to get a haircut & to say that they butchered her hair is being kind with my words. B is so depressed about her hair & the fact that she may have to have a short hair cut in order to fix it, which she’s does not want. She tried wearing a hat to cover it up & even a messy bun because she’s so embarrassed, she should not feel embarrassed from a so called professional stylist!!! 😡The owner of the salon, Keri Storie, would not offer a refund because she guarantees her stylist work, which she hung up on me during my conversation with her. GUARANTEES????? Really?!?! I no longer have faith in her salon or the stylist professionals she chose to represent her salon. I had to send her text pictures of the horrible haircut by Lauren, which I have saved. So I will have to pay another stylist to fix her hair. I am so very disappointed in Keri and her salon & so called professional stylist. She also had the audacity to imply that my daughter must have had her cut by friends at school, bc surely her stylist could not have done that job 😲…that’s admission that it was bad!!I took the picture that same day as the haircut when we got home, this provides a clear picture of her integrity & character to blame my child or someone else for the cut…seriously, what can of person does that?!?! Do not go to Lauren or Papillon salon!!😳🤯

KAMRYN is absolutely the best hairstylist Ive ever had for myself and my 4 year old son! She has been cutting our hair for over a year now, and I have never had a problem with her choice of style in any way. As well, She has an amazing personality, always smiling and, without a doubt, cares about her clients look when they leave her chair. I have no plans of letting anyone else cut our hair for as long as she is working near me!UPDATE: Kamryn is still the bestest.

My daughter found Jessica G. five years ago. I started seeing Jessica after my daughter raved about her. I’ve been with Jessica for five plus years, she even did my hair for my wedding!I don’t see anyone else when it comes to my hair. I went in last Thursday for a perm. After A (the stylist) washed my hair I showed her 2 pictures of wavy loose curls and told her that was what I wanted. She assured me she knew what I wanted. As A began to roll my hair I noticed she was sectioning off a very small amount of hair. I asked if she could make larger sections of hair to make bigger curls. A said she could try but that the way she was doing it “worked best for her “ I restated my concern about not wanting my hair too curly and I had rather have not enough curl than too much. A said she knew what she was doing and had been doing hair for 20 years.When it came to the perm processing time I asked her to please check it after 5 minutes that my hair usually processed very quickly. She checked it at about 7 minutes and said it needed a bit longer. After a total of 12 minutes she rinsed it out. Once she took the rods out and I sat back down in front of the mirror I wanted to throw up. I had tight spiral curls, not even close to what I had asked for. Needless to say I couldn’t pay and get out of there quick enough. I’ve never been one to complain about someone’s service or hurt someone’s feelings.The next morning I was mad at myself for not speaking up because A certainly didn’t care about what I wanted or my feelings. So I called and asked for the owner and was told she was on vacation but would be back on Tuesday and I would need to come in and talk with her.I went in today and spoke with Kerry who advised the 2 pictures I showed A were done with a curling iron and could not be obtained by a perm. She then proceeded to tell me that all grey hair is frizzy but she could schedule me with A to have the per removed. I advised I didn’t want more chemicals applied to my hair. She then said my hair would relax in about 2 weeks and I would be happy with it but if not to come back and they would fix it.I wanted to ask what are you going to fix if you don’t even agree nothing is wrong. She never said she was sorry I wasn’t happy or anything thing remotely to showing any concern or compassion for me. I wouldn’t go back to this salon if all services were free.

Great experience with Kathy who did a wonderful shampoo, sprayed on a great product to prevent my dry hair from pulling as she combed it, trimmed & cleaned up my longer hair cut. If I’m still in town in 6-8 wks I’ll definitely go back. Nice, friendly people also,

I have had Jessica Gutierrez do my hair for the last 18 months and have always been happy. Jessica is a sweet, down-to-earth gal who doesn’t have that uncomfortable “attitude” u find w some stylists/salons. I use her for haircuts and for lots of blonde locks! Jessica always aims to please! I appreciate her so much. Even followed her when she transferred to a new salon! That says something! 😊

Love coming here, Jessica makes it so easy for me to setup an Appointment, understands my needs , and always come out looking FABULOUS.. Im a very very picky person so for me tor stick with her for 3 years. 3 different hairstyles, 2 different hair colors, and a move, I have no complaints. ♥️ her and her colleagues are very friendly I always reccomend this place to my friends.Just another satisfied customer 🙂❤🙃

So I took it upon myself to go to Sallys one day and get a toner because my highlights were getting a bit brassy, so I figured I would do it myself... Bad idea. My roots came out orange and my highlights were a greenish-gray. My hair looking terrible 😔... I had to have it fixed immediately, so I called around and every salon couldnt get me in until the following day, until I came across Papillon Salon and a women who knows what shes doing, her name is Phi and I would highly recommend her, shes so good at what she does and I trust her 100%This is a very friendly salon, everyone is welcoming and Im so glad to have found this salon and Phi 💙

I just moved here and called serveral salons and not one acted as if they really wanted a new client and when I called this salon they spoke with me over the phone and got me in that same day! I was scared because finding a new hairstylist is always challenging but fortunately for me it turned out to be a great fit!! My stylist is Rachel and she nailed my haircut and color! Im so thrilled that I found this place and now know that I have somewhere I can trust with my hair! Rachel took the time to hear my desires and helped me come to a more clear vision with my hair with confidence and grace. She was kind funny and just really down to earth and I felt completely secure in her hands and chair🤗. I met the owner while I was there whom is beautiful and very cool. They are amazing and I couldnt be more thrilled with knowing this is my go to salon as long as I live here. Definitely 5 stars from me!!

I had Rachel cut & style my very thin hair & was Amazed! My hair looked fantastic had a lot of body & she showed me a new styling technique, actually using a flat iron to quickly add curl n body to my hair!She is talented, listens to the client n discusses diff choices- & has styled/ cut many of her coworkers as well!This is the Best Salon I have ever experienced! Papillon Salon is a great place for a guy to get a haircut. My son, Dillon, and I get our haircut by Lauren and she always makes us look good.Keri, the owner, Sandy and the rest of the ladies there at Papillon Salon are as nice as they can be.I highly recommend that you try Papillon Salon.

Rachel is the best! I came in asking for a cut suitable for an old lady. Being 60 years old, I decided to have my long, thin and fine hair cut as it looked horrible on me. I told her she had free reign in whatever she though best for me. When she was finished, I had the cutest classic bob and it truly looked amazing. I have received many compliments on my new look. Thank you so much Rachel, and you can be sure I will be coming to you from now on!!

One very bad boxed mistake led to meeting Tiffany several years ago. She not only saved my hair but I’ve been coming to her ever since. Tiffany is the absolute best! Your hair is your crown you never take off and I wouldn’t go anywhere else because Tiffany always gives me the royal treatment and takes the best care of mine! If I could give more stars I would!

Amanda is awesome! She gives 100% every time and wont settle for less. I have had too many horror stories in the past with my hair at previous places but I can promise you that you wont have to worry about it with her! You need to try this salon out.

I got my hair cut and styled by Angelica today, and she did a great job! She is very pleasant to be around and knows her way around different hair styles and hair coloring needs (I inquired for future purposes). I get my hair layered to look fuller (as opposed to layering to make thick hair look finer) - or at least I always try to - and Angelica did an awesome job; Im really happy with my hair. I also have bangs, which I had been growing out from a previous mishap. I have also just been putting it off, not knowing who to have cut them, but Angelica did a wonderful job! I told her what I wanted and she took off a very little at a time until I found the length I wanted (because I wasnt sure how short/long to keep them). The cost is only $35 - worth every penny! I will definitely be coming back here from now on.

This salon is amazing! Every time I go, I walk out feeling so incredible! Chelsie is a must see here! She does amazing work to make you feel beautiful! Would definitely recommend this salon to anybody I know!

Go see Phi or Veronica both have done my hair before and they do an amazing job, their prices are reasonable and they are a pleasure to visit with while getting your hair done!! This is where I plan to go from now on, all the ladies are experienced here.

Outstanding service here! Oct 9 & Dec 15 for hair appointment! Front door had sign @wearing masks. I did notice: everyone who helped me there had a mask on, I also wore a mask as well, hand sanitizer at the door (like most businesses these days!) Very clean, friendly atmosphere!

Lauren was fantastic! I’m new to Conroe and was looking for a cut and color. She’s excellent, kind and very efficient. I’ve definitely found my new stylist. I highly recommend her!

Never dyed my hair before going here. I gave specific detail and showed pictires on what I wanted. My hair was platinum blonde mixed with brassy colored blonde streaks when she got done it was horrible. I had to go back twice and both time the lady acted like she didnt want to mess with it. When i went back she also made the comment your hair looks really choppy and ask me if i got it cut there i guess she didnt remember that was her that cut my hair?! Never gt my hair the way i wanted it after 3 visits.

Just left the salon, worst experience getting my hair cut. ever.I was told my appointment would be with Tiffany, who Ive heard good things about and since it was my first time here calmed my nerves. I get there and they tell me my appointment is with Kay. Thats fine, I thought, how hard can it be to dye hair brown, and trim shoulder length hair with layers. She consulted with another woman on the color, which turned out fine. Except that she spent a good amount of time just trying to scrub dye off of my face. When I left, I still had brown marks on my face, on my arms, and somehow on my shirt too. By the time she finally managed to style my hair (she curled the bottom) and figured out how to work the computer so I could pay for my services, I was ready to get out of there. When I got home I immediately jumped in the shower to try and wash the brown off my face and arms, and threw my shirt in the washer. After drying and straightening my hair I realized.. ONE SIDE IS AN INCH LONGER THAN THE OTHER. If youve been in the business 35 years, how does that even happen? The bottom is choppy, uneven, looks like I did it myself, when I paid someone almost 100$ to do it. Absolutely worst experience Ive ever had. If you go here and youre told Kay is your hair dresser, do yourself a favor and run away in the opposite direction. I am so disappointed, what a waste of money.

Annette worked wonders with short notice & turned my flat, baby fine medium length hair into my dream hair for my wedding 8-6-17. Thanks so much!! I will keep using this salon!

All I wanted was an inverted bob & after I showed Jessica pictures of what i wanted, she chopped my ponytail off and the took the trimmers to the back of my head & informed me while doing this that she was NO Barber....How about you don’t do a short cut on someone if you can’t do it right. My hair is sooooo jacked up & now I have to spend more money to go get it fixed, IF they actually can fix it. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Owner hires stylists that wont wear masks. Owner does not enforce any mask policy. Owner does not acknowledge mask wearing as a simple act of kindness. Owner loses business because of her lack of empathy to those who are immune challenged or simply want their hair done, but not at the expense of others. Please do not keep this place in business at the expense of our loved ones.

I love going to Papillon! Tiffany does such a good job on my highlights! I leave the salon feeling so good! This is the place to go for your hair!

Went in with a very vague idea of what I wanted. I saw Shelly and let her do her magic. She transformed my whole look. Definitely worth the money and I am a loyal customer now.

Molly is the BEST. if you need a cut or especially a color, this girl can do it all! You can guarantee she wont disappoint you or let you leave looking anything less than confident.

Unprofessional stylist, cancelled after I showed for my agreed appointment time. Very noncommittal and had a don’t care attitude when it came time to reschedule for her goof.

Poor customer service! Walked in 30 minutes before they closed to just have my hair washed and flat ironed. The hours of operation are not posted on the door either. The lady at the counter said no one can help me because we are all about to leave.

It is the worst thing that has ever happened to me to go to that place... they gave me a cut or a terrible one. I do not recommend going to that place, it is the worst, and also very expensive 😠😠
