I called ahead to reserve a deep tissue massage. Was greeted in a friendly and professional way upon arrival.The surroundings are comfortable and serene. Massage was excellent, took care of all my tight spots, with regular check-ins regarding pressure level. It was great to get insights into the local culture and attractions from the owner.Highly recommended. Very reasonable prices, great service, and a great value.

My husband and I have gone to Gen Spa for the last two years on our summer vacation in the area. We always get a great massage. My husband has back issues and Gen really takes her time to pinpoint and address his pain. Carina is also wonderful and gives and excellent massage. We will definitely be back next time we visit the area.

I went to Gen Spa today for a massage to relieve a frozen shoulder and back pain. Lilly was amazing, I left feeling relaxed and relieved of pain. She was very professional, and kind. She has strong healing hands, and asks if the pressure is good but doesn’t chat unless you engage her. Perfect for relaxing.The location is to the right when you enter the shopping center, easy to get to right off of Sample Road. I recently visited Gen Spa for post-surgery lymphatic drainage with cavitation, and the experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and cared for. The treatment itself was incredibly effective—my tenderness has significantly dissipated, and I feel amazing overall. The lymphatic drainage helped reduce swelling and promote healing, while the cavitation targeted stubborn areas with precision. I highly recommend Gen Spa for anyone recovering from surgery; their expertise and care make a noticeable difference in my recovery process.

Lymphatic drainage post surgery at Gen Spa is the best. The first day of my massage was very painful. Everyday I come for 30 minutes and each time I felt better. The 3rd session I did not feel anymore pain. She uses ultra sound cavitation plus her technique lymphatic Massage. Highly recommend for people who’s having a tummy tuck surgery.

I was excited to get a massage based on the reviews. I asked for a deep tissue massage and even highlighted the areas that I needed the masseuse to focus on. She didn’t follow anything on the form. I also indicated high-pressure and it was basically a light back rub the whole time for an hour. Unfortunately, I’m left feeling cheated.

Ive never had a professional massage before and came here because I was having quite a bit of lower back pain and over all tension. Gen was very attentive of my needs and really helped work out all the kinks in my back. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a serious massage to get rid of their aches and pains!

I had a prenatal massage. Coincidentally, my appointment was scheduled earlier that week and when the time came I had already started minor labor. It was one of the best massages I had ever had! There is a special massage table for prenatal massages which really helps relieve the pressure. It felt great to finally be able to lay on my stomach. Once I got home my labor really started and I gave birth later that evening. The massage helped my body relax to deliver. I can’t wait to go back!

Incredible deep tissue massage! 90 minutes for 130 which is a steal for the service and therapeutic treatment you will receive. An amazing masseuse you will want to go back to time and time again!

Gen is an absolute lifesaver. I was experiencing awful pain but a pinched nerve in my neck and I could barely move my head. She squeezed me in the very next day for an hour long appointment and I walked out with nearly full mobility in my neck and head. My pain was significantly abated.I dont live locally otherwise Id be back again tomorrow. As it is, I wish Gen could fly home with me!Highly recommend.

Gen failed to show up for my appointment. She did not call to advise me that she was not coming. I drove 25 minutes each way in heavy rain to be on time. After the fact, I was advised that Gen had no intention of giving me the booked massage but was planning on sending a substitute. When I contacted Gen that I was at the office in Deerfield, waiting at the door, her assistant blamed it on the substitute for failing to show up. She did not apologize nor offer me anything like a gift certificate. If you are expecting Gen to give you an excellent treatment you should first confirm that she is not sending a substitute.Finally, hours later, I received a message that Gen would provide an hour massage as compensation. I will take her up on that and book a massaage

Gen has done a wonderful job helping with some of the issues my body has. She listened, and then recommended instead of doing the massage I chose that another would be better, and she was 100% correct. After the first session I felt better, and it’s getting better every time. I strongly recommend going to visit Gen as life is too short to not feel 100%!! Thanks Gen!!!

When I arrived at Gen Spa, I was in a great deal of pain. I have a medical condition that causes muscle tension, spasms, and nerve pain. I was at the height of one of my flare ups, and desperate to find relief. The therapist that worked on me did an amazing job. I have never had such a thorough and complete massage like this. Most massages that I get feel good, but dont eliminate my pain. This visit was a complete game changer for me. I plan to visit frequently, and stay pain free! Thanks again Gen Spa!

We were in town for a bachelorette weekend and wanted massages for 5. The owner, Gen was very accommodating and worked around all of our weekend plans. The level of customer service she provided was exceptional! Then there was the massage, by far the best I’ve ever received. She was so attentive to my pressure points and relieved a headache I had all weekend. She is truly passionate about her craft and has healing hands.

Gen listens and recommends what’s best based on your situation. She really cares and wants the best for you and your body. I’m really thankful for her treatment and the wisdom she shared with me. I went in thinking I needed one type of massage which she let me know right away it would not help with the type of pain I was experiencing. She could have easily just did what I asked and took my money. I will be visiting her whenever I come back to the area and recommending her to others.

Gen Spa is like no other spa. The technique makes all the difference. Generosa and her staff listen to your needs and apply the right modality to remove that pain. Not only at a reasonable price but I love the water and the healthy snack at the end. I have been going there for years and will continue. You can feel at peace here, she runs a legit spa with a loving attitude.

This was my first time visiting this spa. Gen is VERY experienced and uses a different pressure technique that I had never experienced. She was able to release the tightness up through the left side of my neck and trapezius/shoulder. She was the first to identify that it was actually radiating down from my left jaw (TMJ). I highly recommend her. It’s obvious this is her passion. My facial was also an amazing experience and I’ll definitely return annually when we come to Pompano for vacations!

My husband and I got a massage by gen and Stephan and they were amazing. My husband lifts heavy items all day so he has really bad back pain gen took the time to ask questions while giving the massage so she was able to concentrate on his problem areas. He left there feeling great. I didnt really have any problem areas but Stephan applied the right amount of pressure and It was very relaxing. They definitely got us as repeat customers.

I Went for my first massage, Gen was amazing! Not only did I get a massage, she helped me heal my plantar fasciitis pain (heel pain ). I could barely walk when I arrived, and I left with almost no pain! You must go try this wellness spa, for natural pain relief! It’s AMAZING!!! 😊

My experience at Gen Spa has produced wonderful results for my lymphatic drainage. My experience with Gen has been amazing. I contacted her a week before coming and she was still able to fit me in to her busy schedule. I am so thankful she was able to!The services I received were phenomenal! I was able to try new procedures that Id never had done before, along with my usual full body massage and facial. Gen is super, super knowledgeable about what she does, how to do it, and why shes doing it! A lot of other places just have technicians running machines. Gen shows her knowledge of the body and natural health as she goes by explaining different things that shes learned and experienced herself. But dont just take her word- she always wants you to do your own homework to find what works for YOUR body!More specifically about the services, I received a cavitation procedure on my stomach first. It basically uses sound/vibrations to break down fat. THIS is what you want to do instead of a tummy tuck! No cutting or knives involved! My tummy is the worst part of my body and Im so surprised just after the first procedure how much it shrank! Legit, got smaller! Im going to find a local person closer to me to continue the process!!Another great service to get is the scalp massage with an amla oil treatment and then a shampoo/conditioner with biotin to stimulate my scalp. I had my babies 15 months ago and Im still struggling with post partum hair thinning! A natural treatment to stimulate my scalp seems like a perfect way to help!But if youre just looking for something as simple as a massage or facial, Gens your lady. As I said before, she is very attentive and will focus on you as a person. She genuinely cares about people and natural healing!!A must experience for yourself!

Gen is an amazing healer/supremely skilled and professional massage therapist and spa owner, and genuinely cares and wants to heal. Gen has been working on lymphatic drainage and massage on me for about 6 weeks post surgery and has healed me through a very painful trauma. I refer everyone I know to her. Gen Spa is the best! Now that I am healed, I will continue getting a massage once a week forever for my health with Gen. More if I need.

Gen is amazing at what she does! Her technique is very unique and she adjusts the treatment according to what is needed. I have been to many places where I tell them my problem areas (hip flexors/hamstrings /it band) and they still do the same massage without adjusting for my requests. Ive had 3 sessions with her and have committed to going weekly due to the results. I highly recommend her, you wont be disappointed. May God continue to bless her and her endeavors!

Ive been to see Gen twice now and both experiences have been excellent. Gen gives a great, targeted deep tissue massage and pressure point therapy. But what really makes her different is the extensive use of stretching she uses in each session. No other therapists I have been to does the stretching, and it really, really helps. My pain level has decreased dramatically, and I am looking forward to my next visit in a few days. Gen is very kind and sweet. She truly cares about your health. Shes pretty, too!!! I highly recommend Gens therapies.

Omg, amazing, relaxing and professional therapist!Went back again last week for cavitation treatment. I had never heard of it, but tummy fat is stubborn to lose, so I tried it. It was worth it! I have noticed a reduction of tummy fat, its flatter and appears to have shrunk about a 1/4 inch. My pants arent as tight. It did something good! With continued exercise and a healthy diet I hope it continues to shrink.

I was experiencing a ton of pain in my neck and lower back area and saw all the great reviews for Gen-Spa and decided to give it a shot and Im so glad I did. Not only was I relieved almost immediately its honestly the best massage and treatment Ive ever received. I feel so much better and I have so much more flexibility in the gym. I am so pleased I found this place! Had a cosmetic surgery in town and needed a lymphatic massage. It was Sunday and I knew it was going to be a challenge to find someone good and open... Gen was amazing! I was in so much pain - I could barely move. She was knowledgeable, patient, gentle, accommodating and most importantly, I had real results right away. I was in search yesterday for a Swedish Massage Therapist for pain and Trigger Point Massage near me. Gen Spa was a near me search on google. I contacted Gen, I told her the pain I was in and she said let me get back to you and see what I can do. I heard from her 2 hrs later and she had a confirmed app for the next day. My Deep Tissue Sports Massage was beyond phenomenal. Gen has provided me with a Natural Healing for Pain. My hips and glutes are no longer constricted with limited movement . When I came into the Massage Therapy Spa , the Pressure Point Therapy for Pain was great in releasing my tightened muscles I felt popping and crunching feeling in my body as she was breaking down what has built up, now my body has more of a blood flow and able to flush out these toxins. Great friendly staff, on time, there is a lot of customers there which shows me her work is good. She is an amazing massage therapist and she know the exact pressure point. I am very grateful. This is the best Lympathic drainage massage I’ve ever had. I’m from NY and my first time in Florida getting massages and I made the right choice. I had tummy tuck with chin lipo and after every massage I walk better and without pain. Thank you so much, Gen! I’m happy I booked with you. You took your time and you explained everything to me. GenSpa was amazing. The whole staff was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they have a genuine care for healing people. I booked a facial and my skin felt like baby soft. Gen is so amazing! I got a post surgery bbl in Miami and was looking online for places to go. I went to another place yesterday and it was terrible they didn’t release any pain or tension in my body and no drainage came out. But here at Gen Spa she knew exactly what to do, put the perfect amount of pressure, and made me feel so much better afterwards. She was so sweet, gave us treats and waters afterwards with her kind words. My body feels tremendously better and I feel like I got toxins, drainage and stress out my body. If you have had surgery and need massage place this is the place to be!

Generosa was extremely accommodating to give me a treatment on short notice over a holiday weekend before my flight home. (Her spa is a 15 minute drive to Fort Lauderdale Airport.) She is an experienced and skilled masseuse, and effectively helped my muscles untighten and relax. After a 90 minute massage I felt refreshed and ready for a cross-country trip. Due to delays and an unplanned stop, the flight was longer than expected, and yet my body managed the added stress well thanks to Generosa’s massage. Just like her name implies, she is a generously nurturing person, and I am happy to recommend Generosa.

I had so much pain from the stress of running a company that I booked a massage expecting to feel only slightly better. I left feeling like an entirely new person. I went to Gen Spa for the first time today. Had been dealing with a tight/sore neck for days...and a tight lower back. After an hour treatment mostly on my neck I left feeling like a new man! Gen did a great job working out the soreness and knots in my neck, back and shoulders while explaining the process and her philosophy. I feel like she listened to my issues and the levels of soreness in different spots and worked accordingly. This was my first ever massage and I was super impressed! I am currently pregnant and got a prenatal massage. They have the prenatal tables so you can lay comfortably on your stomach without any weight on your belly. Throughout the entire massage she checked in with me to make sure me and my belly where comfortable. When switching positions from my stomach she made sure I was positioned in a way that was safe and comfortable for myself and baby.The room was nice and relaxing. All in all this was wonderful experience and I will defiantly be back.

Gen explained the reason for the pain I was having and gave me exercises to do to maintain the health of my body. She is all about healing not just fix the surface of the problem. Gen has helped me a great deal with a rotator cuff impingement that bothered me for many months. Gen is not your average therapist, she has a broad knowledge of anatomy and the roadblocks to recovery that we can create with our minds. I have had two deep tissue massages that have given me back a freedom of movement in my arm that has been missing for far too long. I was wary of the pain that might be involved as the arm felt so rigid and tight, but Gen loosened it up a lot and encouraged me to aid my own further recovery with a sensible exercise regime to follow. She is a wonderful lady.

I went to Gen Spa with extreme pain in my right deltoid. There was restriction in my movements and the overall muscle was tight. I didn’t even have to say anything. In the middle of my Swedish massage she felt the knots and tensions and asked me about it and immediately began to work on it. She did some pressure points and by the time she was done I could move my arm way better than when I came in. My arm was healed! I will definitely be back for more sessions. She is AMAZING!

I received a birthday gift card from my friend who swears by Gen Spa. I was so happy to get this referral! I have a recurring stiff pain in between my shoulders that radiates up through my neck. Gen found the source of the pain without me even having to tell her where it was. She is one of the only massage therapists I know who can get right in there at a certain spot to release the knot. She is really careful to go in to a spot only as much as the client would like her to go. Shes very intuitive and cares how the client is feeling with whatever technique she is applying. Her massages are not only physically therapeutic, but also very relaxing. There is also nice stretching involved. She gives a lot of time, care and attention to each massage for such a great price. She truly cares about her clients having an overall healthy body and spirit. Gen is a wonderful sincere, open and positive person, she is great to be around! I recommend her whole heartedly!

Went to visit Gen Spa on Wednesday after weeks of pain in my neck that chiropractors could not fix - I havent been able to sleep well or go jogging. On Wednesday Gen was able to quickly identify the issue and when I left i felt very relaxed. The next day(yesterday) the pain was at about 40% of what it was when I came in though I was a bit sore - but she clearly advised of that. This morning I woke up and the pain is 99% gone. I am going for a run this afternoon and excited to have the pain completely gone by tomorrow. Stop wasting your time elsewhere and go see Gen. Gen, is not only a great masseuse but a healer! After having surgery months ago, I’ve dealt with swelling, muscle aches, numbness and nerve pain. Im at a loss for words to describe my experience with Generosa this morning. Im a 71 year old male with pain, and discomfort, after Spinal Fusion surgery. Ive used multiple Massage Therapists since my operation, in conjunction with Physical Therapy. I recently flew for the first time since my surgery and my back pain was almost intolerable. I had an experience while in Tulsa OK after the first leg of my flight and I was introduced to Therapeutic Massage, which was a technique that I had never experienced before. Gen Spa a hidden treasure in pompano beach. I have been going for massages and facials most of my life. I am 73 years old but I have never experienced anything like Gen Spa. I dont know where to start. I have scoliosis anf osteoarthritis as I am a post polio victim. Nobody was able to help me like Gen. She is amazing in what she does. God blessed her to help people. I pulled a muscle in my upper back and could barely turn my head side to side. I was desperate to find a therapist who could identify the problem and focus on it. Gen immediately asked questions to hone in on where the stress was coming from and sat down to get to know me and my pain before she got me in last minute with her therapist Alline, who was honestly amazing. She focused most of the massage on my problem area and gave me suggestions on how to stretch and other ways to implement relief. I went to see Generosa in September, she was recommended by a coworker who has been going to her for many years.( Actually her whole family goes to get a massage from her.) I have had back issues for probably 20 years, mostly lower back pain and sometimes sciatica. There are times when it gets so bad I can barely get out of bed. So in September the pain came back with a vengeance. I called Gen, and she generously gave me an emergency appointment, since I was in so much pain. She was professional, accommodating, she listened when I was telling her in detail all of my issues. You have to know she is not your regular masseuse. Gen was absolutely incredible. Very professional, knowledgeable and passionate about helping others in discomfort. I walked in with a pinched nerve in my lower back and legs that was excruciatingly painful. I had no answer for relieving the pain and after a full hour of specific trigger point therapy I walked out although sore as expected, but more or less pain free with optimism and a positive outlook. Couldn’t have asked for a better outcome and experience. Very reasonable and you won’t regret the minimum investment in your body.

Visiting from out of town and tweaked my back. They were able to get me in for a 90 minute massage within the hour of my call. And the best part….it was the best massage I have ever had! Great experience all around.

Have had bad back pain and it was reactivated with the long drive to Pompano Beach while on vacation. Gen did wonders with just one treatment. She did various treatments in our scheduled 90 minute appointment and even went over the time a bit. My backache was killing me. so i did a bit research and decided to reach out and called Gen. she was able to get in me office the next morning..I liked her energy right away upon meeting her. I can tell that her is very passionate on studying human body and healing. she also asked a bit more questions then I expected, but she said, it helps her understand her clients better and understands what rooted the cause of pain. we went into session and instant pain relief when she used the trigger point technique .(sorry if i remember the term incorrect.) I was so shocked and could not believe how FAST the PAIN WENT AWAY..I definitely will return for another visit, hopefully not for pain management but for spa treatments.

I have had 3 sessions so far and the change in my pain has been amazing. I had orthoscopic surgery on my Hip May of 2014 and have had pain issues ever since. I thought I might need a hip replacement, but the reality is that I have soft tissue issues. Gen has been able to release the pain using her method of Pin Point pressure and it does work. Im not going to tell you its immediate or that there isnt pain involved, but I am seeing great results, not good but great. There is absolutely no way I would write this review unless I truly experienced these results. I know what pain is and I dont want and wont go to hard drugs to get relief. I have an issue and it needs to be healed and Gen is helping me do that. Gen is most definitely worth a try as she may be your answer to getting rid of your pain.

Wow! This place is exactly what I needed. My neck, shoulders, and back were a tight mess and I didnt know where to go since I was vacationing in South Florida for a couple weeks. I called and made an appointment with Gen and she worked wonders on all sore areas of my body. She really listens well and makes sure every tight knot is gone and I feel like a million bucks now. Ive never had somebody so thorough and left feeling like a new person. Thank you so much!

I have been seeing Gen for a very long time. This week, I had the pleasure of beeing seen by her new therapist Alline. Alline is very skilled at her profession. She has a very warm personality. Her techniques that she uses are on point, and she pays attention to what your body is telling her, rather than going through a redundant routine. When she locates an issue that your body or you tell her about, she will spend the correct amount of time, working it out. I would recommend either of these two fabulous therapists to anyone that has issues, needs a reset, or wants a great therapist that will keep you in tune.

I was in pompano for a month and my boyfriend found this place the last day. It was a great experience! I have had a bit of nackpain since i been carrying around on my baby, and Gen did a great job loosing it up. To bad i didnt find the place the first day i was here! I felt like I was fighting the flu...I dont like medicine so I went to Gen Spa. It smelled so good in there when I first arrived I wanted to stay. Then I got e full body wrapped detox, facial and full body massage. I felt so good after. I sweated a lot but it was to get rid of toxins... Jen is an absolute professional. Ive been having back problems for a year-and-a-half. Could not play golf or tennis. She performed a trigger point session. And I am shocked at the results. Gen Spa is truly a hidden gem in Pompano Beach. I went there for the first time and it truly was the best massage I have ever had! I have already scheduled a 2 hour massage again next week!

I was driving home after a long work day with pain that became unbearable. I called and was able to squeeze in the afternoon slot with Alline. She was incredible. Here are a few quick points:I am a side sleeper, have a toddler I tote around often, am on my feet often in heels and with my work I also sit with three monitors- in bad posture. She took this information and immediately knew what muscles to start working.She was so kind and she made me comfortable telling her what spots really hurt and how they were impacting other areas. She really knows her stuff.The next day I woke up and actually felt rested and ready to take on the day-a little sore of course. I am very thankful and really think every cent I invested was worth it’s weight in gold. I’ll be back every two weeks to keep myself in check. Great spot!

Great massage from a highly skilled and positive person. The approach is simple but effective. Especially, the use of full body weight(walk on body) technique to trigger to release some of the tough muscle knots on my lower back and hamstrings. Very quick response to schedule an appointment. Me and my wife had a couples massage. Gen and another worked out all of our kinks. The biggest thing was the education of why she she was doing certain motions. Afterwards she had a few minutes and showed us where to look up muscle pictures to help us help each other when we go back home. Great work Gen!

I sustained several ankle injuries as a college athlete. Recently I have been experiencing stiffness in my right angle; consequently it was causing some imbalance in my knees and hips during exercise. I have been avoiding therapy becasue of the pain and uncomfort. Gen convinced me to strart trigger point therapy on the area a few weeks ago and I am happy to see that I have regained a lot of balance, strength and mobility in the ankle since. The GenSpa approach really helps to break down those years of accumulation in scar tissue. Gen is helping me get back into the game. She is the most informative and supportive therapist I have ever had.

I suffer from chronic pinched nerves due to rods I have fused to my spine. Ive gone to countless doctors and chiropractors and none have been able to help me (without strong meds). Gen was able to tailor a treatment for me and after just a couple of sessions, I no longer needed meds and had full range of motion in my neck.

I was having muscle spasms in my shoulders but didn’t have much time bc I also work 3 days in a row 12 hour shifts but they fit me in and fixed me up so I could work my 12 hour shift!! Her pressure was just perfect and she knew how to stop the spasms!! I’ll be coming back for a full massage!!
