Massage Envy

The worst. Rarely answer phones. Staff is clueless on scheduling and billing systems. I call they don’t answer. So I drove over. It’s 8:40/pm and door is locked. Sign says open. Website says open. I need to change appointments within 24 hours but they’re closed and didn’t answer phones earlier. They sell a 60 minute massage but you get like 45-50. The therapist leaves room to change and I have shorts on. So u say it’s just 15 seconds and they leave for 5-10 minutes. I’ve been a member for years. Therapists are pretty good but front desk staff and customer service is the worst at the Deerfield Location. Go elsewhere.

I will be vacationing in the area next month and wanted to book a massage for myself and a friend. Vee was very helpful when I tried to make my appointments using a transfer credit. Her instructions were valuable since I would have had to pay out-of-pocket, if I had not made the transfer in advance with my home location. She was very nice and made sure I knew who I was speaking with so that when the transfer was complete , my appointment was properly booked. She even followed up to make sure that my guess arrived early and with the proper documentation to not hinder our appointment.

I have been going to Pompano Massage envy since it opened . I want to tell you about THE BEST therapists but hate to loose an appointment to you ( whomever reading ) ;)Megin is amazing!!! We had a couples massage for Father’s Day. Our therapist decided after our consultation to switch. Without giving us the option. My massage was great. My husband does not like a male giving him a massage. We discussed this as we checked out. I’m waiting for the manager to call me. He should get a full refund. I have been a member for probably 20 years. This needs to be taken care of

This was my first ever massage and it was phenomenal. The therapist really make or break your experience and I can say now that Tabari did a great job on handling everything. The staff was super nice too and very well mannered 10/10!

Just had 90 minutes with John. This man was incredible!! His knowledge of the body & muscles was clear - he worked exactly where I needed, helped coach me through relaxation when any particularly sore muscles resisted… Just sincerely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at Massage Envy or with any other massage! If you’re an athlete or working out, I can’t recommend him enough!

Dirlene was the best massage therapist I’ve had in forever! Kay is also very amazing for facials! The front desk girls Hayley and Jessica are so helpful, I would recommend this location better than any other Massage Envy! Especially not Pompano Beach where the service was terrible…

I just had my first session with John and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I told him about my upper body tension and he found the perfect spots/ways to relieve that! Great person giving a great massage :)

This location has consistently let me down. They cannot hold on to good therapists. From what I have heard from previous therapists, owner consistently is not addressing concerns that the therapists have regarding how they are treated, pay, and cleanliness of the spa.I have largely forgiven this, as I run a business as well, and I know that it can be difficult to keep everyone happy while still running a profitable business.At the same time, today I arrived at 4:45 for a 5PM appointment, got checked in, and went to the quiet room. I waited until 5:20, at which point I checked in. They apparently called my therapist and told me that he got a flat tire coming in. This is difficult to believe, since I know my therapist would have called them to alert this of them sooner.This is the second time that this has happened for me at this location. This wasted close to an hour of my time today, including travel.Beyond that, before every session, the staff hounds me to add enhancements, which they are compensated to do, and they are expected to meet a quota. I understand that this is a high-margin item, but its extremely frustrating to have to go through the song and dance each time I get a massage (which I tend to do weekly). There should be a way to have your account flagged so that they will not ask this question anymore.Of all of the locations Ive visited, this one has been the most disappointing. Theyve had some good therapists, though most have eventually left. Im considering cancelling my Massage Envy membership because of this.

John is a great massage therapist. He is very attentive to your needs .I always get a great massage .The office forgot to tell John they had rescheduled my appointment to 3:00 rather than 3:30 so we were :15 minutes late starting. Although I got my full time , I thought they should have given me 30 minutes complimentary for the inconvenience.Wayne

The massage was horrible. The massage started and the therapist didnt even know how to adjust the face cradle. I had to do it myself. I was very specific that I only wanted my upper back, neck and shoulders done. 90% of the time was spent randomly on other parts of the body. It got to a point where she was massaging my leg and I was laying there massaging my own neck. The front office is like a bunch of used car salesman. I was told if I didnt like the massage I wouldnt have to sign up for the membership and I would still just have to pay the $75 intro price. I told the office manager how bad my experience was. She apologized and tried to get me to book again with someone else. I told her no. She charged my card for the full price of $125 then happened to forget to give me a receipt. I then asked for a receipt because I thought they might try and charge me the $125 instead of the $75 and when I looked they did charge me the $125. I asked and the manager said I was told I would be charged full price if I didnt sign up for the membership. That is not what I was told. I was so aggravated I just left instead of arguing with the lady. I would avoid going here at all costs. You are better off with a Groupon massage.

My massage therapist was Tabari, he was wonderful! He is so knowledgeable in his work and seems to really want to help people feel their best. I felt amazing after my massage, and he addressed all my problem areas. 90 mins is the only way to go with him so he can really work his magic! Also the front desk staff is very welcoming, polite and eager to help so that’s a plus.

I have been coming here for about a year. First time having John. He was GREAT! Highly recommend requesting him. I like getting deep tissue and he was spot on!

Rico was great! my back was in so much pain and he did such a great job getting my knots out. Pain was a 6 going in and 4 once my session was done. Checking in was very easy and seamless as well. Rachel at the front desk greeted me so pleasantly and answered all my questions! Will definitely be returning!

I had an amazing experience today with Tabari. This massage envy is clean and peaceful with a lot of parking. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Tabari did an amazing job making sure I was relaxed and getting the most out of my time. I feel 100% better and less tense immediately after leaving!

Hiro is the best! I have pain from sports and he definitely knows what he’s doing! Highly recommend. Aaron up front is also fantastic! He provided the best customer service with such a positive attitude

My therapist was John who was awesome! I complained about neck and back pain. He resolved all my pain and also explain to me what he was doing during the massage. At the end he used a hot towel on my feet and it sent sensation throughout my body, I loved it!Thanks John!!

I was recommended Kelly and she did not disappoint.. 5 stars and two thumbs up. She had Great energy and knowledge of what I was feelingShe helped my back out %100. Winning. !

There was no music playing in the room so I could hear everything happening in the other rooms and the shop next door. The therapist made me feel uncomfortable and farted a few times making the room smell unbearable. Before we started I mentioned my shoulder being an area I wanted to focus on. I think he spent more time on my feet than my shoulder which was uncomfortable also. Overall I felt worse walking out than I felt walking in.

I was very fortunate have Tabari for my therapist. I am 75 years old and have been receiving massages often and I can honestly say his massage was by far one of the best massages I have ever had. He was professional, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable in regards to the workings and importance of getting a massage.

My husband said his massage therapist Tabari was excellent with his techniques . My therapist Andrea was also excellent! We both had these two therapists today for the first time ! We have been Massage Envy clients for many years .

Sam has been an important part of my recovery over the last year from two foot surgeries. He is outstanding and committed to his profession of healing through muscle manipulation and massage

Good overall- was disappointed because I booked hot stones and then found out that the masseuse is not certified to work with hot stones, but overall the experience was good. Oh the haggling at check to sign up for membership- not a fan..

I am 38 weeks pregnant and had a very relaxing massage with Tabari. I had so many aches and pains, but once massage was done, I felt much better. Looking forward to my next massage.

Andrea was very calming, soothing, perfect pressure, I floated into another dimension, she was just wonderful! Highly recommend her!!

I got an amazing massage with Rico. I only went there for a one time massage as a treat to myself and now I’ve had to block their number. They’ve texted multiple times and I got a phone call from the young blonde receptionist and she hung up on me when I told her I wasn’t interested in coming in again. After I blocked their number, they’ve left multiple voicemails still asking me to come in and telling me my membership is active. I never signed up for a membership and I truly hope they aren’t charging the card that was used for the one time massage. I’d appreciate it if they took my info out of their system and stopped trying to contact me.

Baron is AMAZING!!! He was the one that had me sign up just by his touch, kindness and knowledge of the pressure points to massage. I have to say he deserves a bonus each time cause I can’t imagine no one praising how great he is!! Ty Baron and can’t wait to see you again 😁

The employees are pleasant, professional, and accommodating. They are skilled and very conscientious. Their methods are great. I was comfortable, and I left there with my muscles feeling energized after the work stress had taken its toll for months.

I received a deep tissue massage from Kelly and it was amazing! She’s definitely the one you want when booking a massage. I will definitely be back!

This place has been great. Janell at the front desk is very attentive and thorough with her explanations and helping setup appointments. The massage are relaxing and give you that feeling of Zen that you’ve been looking for !! Cecelia is by far the best massage therapist as she genuinely cares about the issues and pain points in your body and focuses on them to alleviate any problems.

Natalie at Massage Envy Hillsboro was so awesome! I got a basic facial and my skin is glowing and so healthy. Highly recommend coming to her for a facial.

Kelly in the Hillsboro Massage Envy location has exquisite skill. I came in with high tension both physically and mentally and left a new and revived woman. She has my highest commendation!

Lilian is a master masseuse! She has amazing technique and the pressure is fantastic. She really knows what she’s doing and look forward to many more sessions with her.

Of all the franchise locations, this one is my least favorite. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with staff bad mouthing each other. Blatant unprofessionalism and negative energy which is not relaxing while getting a massage. Cancelling appointments on me the morning of. Explaining the 30% tip policy and pointing to the wall, which is so rude considering I always tip. I made the mistake of coming back today to give it another chance, and had one of the worst massages ever. I stated I had been having headaches and wanted focus on my neck and shoulders. Sam spent the entire massage on my legs and arms, and even though he asked which pressure I would like, he still barely provided pressure and did not hit any target points. I may as well have stayed home. He finally worked on my neck in the last 10 minutes, in which he talked about himself and focused more on his words than my neck. “You’re lucky you got in today. I’m usually completely booked.” (Even tho I constantly get texts about his openings and he shows available online). “I have a client directly after this… my clients this, my clients that.” Provided nonstop useless information and nonsensical tips, how to prevent neck pain such as take a hot shower, random useless pathophysiology. The WORST was when he decided to move from my neck to massage my armpit. I have NEVER had anyone do this and it was so uncomfortable. I’m talking thumb digging in my armpit, then all his hand in my armpit. I finally had to say something. “You don’t want me massaging your pecs?” He seemed dumbfounded. I had to point out that no, he was digging into my armpit, not my pecs and it was uncomfortable. On the way out, he made it a point to point at the recommended tip chart. “Please make note of the tipping. For example, if you have a 60 minute massage, you would leave…” I had to cut him off. “I got it.” I left feeling so irritated by the terrible massage, the self promotion, the nonsensical unsolicited advice, expecting some grandiose tip when he did nothing I wanted. Hours later, I can still feel his thumb digging into my armpit. I will continue to avoid this franchise in the future.

I had a back facial for the first time. I only wish a partial massage was included like with a facial. It was also more expensive than I thought it would me. Luckily, I dont have any acne problems. I just wanted to try it.

Tabari is a fantastic, intuitive therapist who gives quality massages. Highly recommend booking your next massage with him at the Deerfield Beach location.

I wanted to thank Lillian 😊 🙏 for her help, helping me with my back. So fare, Ive seen you 4 times, and with each visit, my back feels so much better. When I just started my back pain was running down my my legs and I couldnt do much at all. Walking , getting out off bed lifting and lifting. I would recommend her, she is amazing at her job, very pleasant and friendly .Thanks you Lillian ❤️

2nd session with John. He has been able to work out chronic trigger points that I’ve had for years that no one else has been able to get at. He listens to your concerns and really focuses in on trouble areas. Will continue to keep coming back to him monthly.

It was one of the better massages in many years with Massage Envy. Lyron was focused on key points which I have indicated in the interview which provided promising tension relieves in my left shoulder and right foot toes.

Thank you Lyron for a great massage session. Hes always the first one to want to provide that help that I need to stay in one piece. Wonderful culture here. Everyone just seems harmonious in their approach to helping each other and theyre very responsive to customers and their needs.

It was an incredible experience. Lilian was amazing. I asked for a deep tissue massage… And she knew exactly what she was doing. She worked on trigger spots and left me feeling like jelly. I needed someone who knew what they were doing… And she delivered!

In all the years of a weekly message from Europe and in America I have never had anyone as good as Tabari. His attention to details of pressure points is meticulous!! He makes such special efforts with hot towels and stretching the neck and shoulders to the bottom of the feet, he is unlike anyone I have ever had. Your whole body is transformed with no pain into total relaxation floating out the door. There is no scale to rate because he is absolutely off the charts. I highly recommend him.

I have had two amazing massages here both 90 minute deep tissue with Tabari. I just recently got a membership because of him. The staff is friendly and the environment is clean. Definitely would recommend.

Excellent massage very relaxing yet some deep tissue included in that wonderful massage very happy !I had also had stretch with Sam wonderful. It was great. Another appt already booked. Definitely tried the stretch for half an hour before a 60 minute massage with Sam. He’s wonderful.

My first time ever getting a massage and the experience was wonderful. The only thing he scratch me a little and I woke up with shoulder pain which I didn’t have. The front desk receptionist was very wonderful.

My first massage was unprofessional, the therapist did not stop talking about himself for the entire service and did not provide the massage I wanted but instead gave the massage he wanted.It gets worse!!! The next day I called the location to cancel the membership and they stated the manager was not on duty but would call me the next day, on Monday. In the end the manager was not available for several weeks because she was out of town. No one else can cancel your membership, so by not calling you back to allow you to cancel, they hold you prisoner.I contacted Massage Envy corporate office they said the franchise owner would get back to me. They did not. I filed a complaint with BBB they did not respond to BBB either.After a month, I finally got in contact with the manager who was completely belligerent and unwilling to stop the membership and charge for the 1 horrible massage received. This business does not provide a way for members to cancel on time. They have one method to cancel and if the manager does not get back to you too bad.FYI: Business that engage in auto renewing memberships in the State of Florida must provide you a letter of notifying you of the upcoming charges 30 days prior to the charges. I have never received a letter. Its Law!!!My advice if you get a membership here beware you may never be able to cancel it. My next step is to call Help Me Howard. They may be able to help me put an end to this saga.

All the girls at the desk in the office are super nice. John took care of my back last night and he got rid of 50% of the pain that I’d been in for three weeks.

Good location. I’ve been to several. Dirlene is excellent. She is very skilled in sports injuries, joint, stretch. One of the best providers I have had!

Tabari was excellent and the staff are very sweet. Tabari is so knowledgeable about the craft of massaging and how important it is to your overall health. I am so excited to be back.

I have chronic neck, shoulder and back pain and had requested a firm, deep massage. Tabari was my massage therapist and he did an excellent job of working the knots out of my neck and shoulders. I would highly recommend him!

My massage therapist, Sam was amazing. The woman who did my facial Izzy was also amazing. The service that I received from the front desk and management was absolutely appalling. One of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had whoever sold me on becoming a member did so incorrectly, and only after my facial service, which I want to use as an add-on was, it told me that I could not do that I was completely unprepared to pay for two services. It was an extremely stressful situation and I’m really disappointed in the whole transaction

Tabard was amazing!! had him for the first time i had 2 hours super relaxing hot towels warm bed. really gave me a nice lymphatic massage through out my whole bodyvery good technique!! highly recommend 10/10 and humble

I cant say enough about Karen at Massage Envy on Hillsboro. I am here on vacation and she was so skilled that I had to have 2 massages in one week. She has exceptional skills to sense any troubled areas. I will be back on my next visit.

Sharon is fabulous, always the best facials.The problem is the scheduling and the people at the front desk.They changed my appointment time and said Sharon did not do microdermabrasion as requested.They always call me to ask me to schedule appointments or tell me about openings and I requested several times NO CALLS PLEASE. Sometime they will call 3 times in the same day!!!

I’ve been coming here for sometime and I had a new massage therapist her name is Nikita and she was amazing the perfect pressure she took out The horrible knots I had on my neck and shoulders I’m so grateful.

My appt for a massage was at 4 pm. I arrive early as directed. My masseuse arrived late and was still preparing the massage room at 4:08. I was never approached with an explanation for the late start.I dislike that kind of customer service.

I called in to get some information about booking a massage. Didn’t know much about it before but I had the pleasure of speaking with the wonderful manager Falicia. She was so informative when it came to directing me for selecting a pressure. I heard Sam was a good masseuse too, might book with them! Im so excited and can’t wait to book my session.

I booked a couples massage for the Labor day weekend for my girlfriend and I when booking I was very clear that this was a special weekend for us since she flew down from New Jersey and that we were staying at the Embassy suites nearby. Upon arrival we do the usual paperwork and then we are told that she has been booked for a facial and not a couples massage they did nothing to try to rectify this and we were offered separate rooms me for a massage and her for a facial, well that is not my idea of a romantic special weekend and so they said well could cancel with out any charges. Well now 2 weeks later I check my bank statement and I see 2 charges for $63.00Are you kidding me, the audacity to mess up our weekend and then go ahead and charge my card this place is so unprofessional and so poorly managed that I feel sorry for those who have been deceived into signing up for there plans. Please do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can away from this location.

Lilian is amazing! She provides an amazing firm to deep massage, and is experienced in migraine trigger points. She helped me a lot. I have already booked my next three sessions with her.

I normally have great experiences at Massage Envy but this one was not satisfactory. The therapist kept her massage oil in a corner of the room and constantly stopped the massage to pour an unusually large amount of oil on her hands. The massage consisted of a lot of 30 seconds worth of massaging with 10 second intervals in between. The constant, stopping of the massage, was very distracting and not relaxing at all. I generally almost fall asleep during my massages, but in this particular case, I kept opening my eyes to see where the therapist went. I’ve never had so much oil poured on me and at the end of the massage I was not even offered a towel to wipe all the excess oil off of me. I had to go home and immediately wash my clothes. When I was finished and went to check out, the receptionist asked me how my massage was and I said I’ve had better. I was disappointed that they did not ask for any feedback as to what went wrong only “Did I want to leave a tip“. Needless to say I will not be returning to this particular Massage Envy location

Cecelia my therapist did an excellent job. She was very knowledgeable and personable. She was able to Identify problem areas in my back and worked to relive the spasms. Would highly recommend her!

Savannah, Shelby, and Dirlene really made my first massage so special! I loved it and they helped me pick a good package with the salt stones! It was fabulous

Cecila is amazing. I have a bulging disk and without her therapy over the Pat two years I probably would have had to have surgery. She goes above and beyond for her clients and is best therapist I have ever had!

Nikita is a very excellent massage therapist. Very caring and always aware of your special requests. Your front desk gentleman was very friendly, and greeted me with a smile . My only complaint is if I become sick the day of my appt. I must pay in full even if they put another person in my spot. I’ve been coming here for 5 years , would like some consideration concerning this matter! Anne

Meh, it’s mediocre. Front desk staff are polite, massage therapists are hit or miss. It’s not bad but I’ve never really had a great experience at this location, and there is usually something off slightly. One massage therapist talked the whole time and told me about how she didn’t like her job, the next time I asked for an enhancement but the therapist didn’t want to use it because she said the oil made her hands cold, so she just skipped it. Super random and getting kind of annoying. I have credits built up from my membership otherwise I would stop going. I think I’ll try a different ME location next time.

I have been going to Cecilia for almost three years now and she is the best! She takes time diagnosing the issues and then addressing them. I always feel great after the session, I highly recommend her!

Service was mediocre was told I was getting a service added and did not get it even though it was paid for. They want to tell you what to pay in gratuity and even though the person dont deserve it they automatically take from ur card on file. Hillsborough Massage Envy is by far the worst location ever and I have been a member for 3+ years will be canceling my membership at this point and time its not worth the argument and I only change home location because my job is two blocks down. I will let everyone know at my company know in a email blast dont visit this location 2k+ employees. Also there is never a supervisor or manager available to address ur concerns.... I always had to call the Pompano location

Hillsboro location is further from my house than other offices, but I go there to see Olga for massage. She applies perfect pressure, and I like her routine. Oliver from front desk is very helpful with booking appointments.

I cannot say enough about the experience I have with Sharon for a relaxing facial. it is always a good experience with her. Her pressure is just right for me and I enjoy the massage that comes with the facial. She is very Pleasant, informative and I look forward to seeing her again.

Lillian was phenomenal. She specializes in deep tissue and trigger point therapy. The deep tissue massage was very intense, however, well worth it. Truly enjoyed the experience. 😁

Worst massage place ever. I have been trying to cancel my membership for months now. They said I needed to send in a doctors note and fill out the cancellation form. I was told after I did this that it would take 10days and I won’t be charged again. It’s been four months since I’ve sent in both forms and I’m still being charged. Every time I call there is never a manager to speak to. This is fraud do not come here!!!

I was hesitant to go b/c the reviews before werent great. However, my massage therapist Rashan was great, to the point that I scheduled a second massage for the following day with him. He worked on my back and shoulders, he knew exactly the amount of pressure to use and read my cues on how to adjust. Heather at the front desk, was also helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend this location

Lilian is back from Brazil and she hasn’t lost her touch. She given an amazing massage at just the right depth. My only concern is that she gets too popular and I’ll have a hard time booking with her!! Give her a try. You’ll be very glad you did.

I brought my daughter for her first massage. She was so impressed with Samuel who started her out with some stretching and she was blown away. Left feeling fabulous. Had my first massage at this location. Felt like the building could’ve been cleaner and more organized. Most uncomfortable massage I have ever had. Cassie was anything but gentle. Massages are supposed to be relaxing AND help work out the kinks. She literally spent an hour slapping lotion on me and raking her knuckles back and forth on my body. No use of her fingertips at all. She had to ask me multiple times if she was hurting me because my muscles started cramping up and becoming tender. My muscles are sore to the touch and my upper legs are bruising. Will not return to this location.

The facial was great but the customer service was not as great due to the fact that they could not read my gift card. Took a while to process also I wanted to sign up for the membership and took like 40 minutes and they couldnt even finished it. I hope that next time will be better and they have everything figured it out. The girl in the counter who was helping tried her best so points for that, but overall very disappointed. Update :I never signed the contract with them and now I received a notice that they are trying to charge me. Thats ILLEGAL!! Very frustrated with their service. I never authorized or agreed to the contract. Plus now I have to wait because front desk cant help. Manager Fabian is out the country and the person in charge hopefully can help thats the answer I got today.

The worst massage place you could imagine.Multiple times have I had inappropriate and unprofessional service. Today I show up for a confirmed appointment to be told that it was cancelled by them and the time filled with another client.They tried charging an old card on file without my knowledge and when payment didn’t go through instead of reaching out to get an updated payment they cancelled my appointment and never notified my.Previously had staff arguing in front of me, sheets/covers not placed on the table before having me lay down, had masseuse discuss inappropriate conversation during my massage, had masseuse bad mouth other employees and explain that it was someone else’s fault why my massage is subpar. Have tried to discuss with franchise owner and/or manager and no resolve. I have other friends that have come here and also express the same concerns.Save your time and money and go somewhere else where professionalism and customer service is a priority because it isn’t here

We have been a member of this location for several years. In May we decided to cancel it because my daughter is an athlete leaving for university, we called them and they said ok we canceled your membership… in June and July they didnt charge me but what was my surprise they started charging me again for August and September… Аre you guys serious???Now they say we had to fill out some form to cancel the membership… but in May no one told us about it…When they took payment for August, we called several times, no one said about this form, and each time they said the manager would call you back soon, but no one ever called back…I need my money back for the last two months!!!PS. Also I still have sessions…

I had a great massage! The people who work there are very friendly as well. However, I paid for an hour massage but got 45 minutes. I even came 15 minutes early but the massage therapist took me back late. Since she was late that impacted my time. I wouldn’t have cared but they should not have taken time away from my massage due to the therapist taking me back late. I probably would never come back because of this.Nice place though! You could find a much better bang for your buck at other places though 🙈

I thought I had already experienced the best therapists that Massage Envy had to offer, but Dana is exemplary!Not only offer deep, Therapeutic Massage that she adjusts according to individual needs and preferences, but Dana also emulates a natural warmth that I find uniquely relaxing.I have been seeing Batya since she first started working at Massage Envy and awaited her return while she needed to take a brief (pandemic-related) sabbatical. Several of the other therapists Ive had are excellent, but Batya is by far the best Ive ever experienced. Specifically, Batya is concerned with the clients total well being and takes the time to ask about any physical issues beforehand. Throughout the massage, she checks in, just to assure that the applied pressure, temperature of the table, towel, etc. are appropriate for your comfort level. She is able to provide the perfect combination of deeply therapeutic, yet relaxing massage.Cylane is one of the best massage therapists Ive ever had! She has an intuitive sense about where to give the most needed attention, while also lightening up on areas that are sensitive... do not lose her... She is highly professional!Connie is also amazing; she applies deep, yet comfortable pressure into sore muscles and is highly professional and methodical with her routine. She knows how to soothe you into relaxation with her voice and light touch towards the end of the massage.

Update: Massage envy refunded me part of my payment, for this Ive added another star and would consider revisiting the establishment.Original post:I booked an hour massage with Cylane (or Cyline). I added on the additional foot scrub and massage. Service provided was good and she focused on the areas I asked her to. However, Im giving 3 stars because I did not receive the full 60 minutes I paid for. My appointment was at 10:00. I wasnt called into the room until 10:05 and the massage ended at 10:55. I barely received a 50 minute massage. I wont be going back knowing I dont get what a pay for.

The owner, George Ramos made the check in process extremely uncomfortable and rushed because they were running behind. I arrived 25 minutes before my scheduled time and could not fill out the paper work due to needing to start my appointment on time. I was asked out loud In the lobby if I was pregnant in front of others.**EDIT**Please note that there is nothing stated in my review about my massage. It was all in response to my check in process with George. I’m not sure why you would send a review to all clients asking about this if you are not wanting feedback. If this is how you choose to speak to your customers than that says a lot about your establishment. Also for the record I have been to multiple massage envy’s the past 15 years and I have NEVER been publicly asked if I was pregnant. Most recently back in January. So while you are stating it is protocol, perhaps you could be a little more sensitive about the situation.

I made my first massage appointment at the Deerfield Massage Envy location after receiving a gift card from my daughter. The staff was so attentive and kind, and the facilities were immaculate. Lillian, my masseuse listened attentively to my concerns and customized the massage to alleviate specific pains I was having. I booked a second massage a month later and now the pain has lessened considerably. I also had a facial with Irina who has over 20 years of experience, it was wonderful, she is a consummate professional and obviously cares about her clients. She also recommended products for my face (Jan Marini) which have made a big difference in how clear and smooth it is. I highly recommend, not only Lillian and Irina but the Massage Envy of Deerfield! I look forward to continuing my visits.

Massage envy had someone scheduled in our couples room and pushed our appointment back 30 min. The massages were less than MID. They completely skipped target areas (on both me and my girlfriend) that were requested before the massage. I will never go back there.

I always enjoy my sessions with Brian, he’s really knowledgeable on techniques when I’m having a problem area, and he’s always very professional. He’s also a great listener and I enjoy our conversations. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxation session with some guaranteed pain relief.

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!! They dont honor any issues that occur and do not take responsibility for anything! Made an appointment at 9AM. The person who opens the business did not show up until 9:30! I had to leave at 10am due to another commitment. The manager called me later and said that this has unfortunately happened in the past and they are correcting it etc... So as the RIGHT thing to do, they offered me an hour massage credit. About 3 months ago, I booked an appointment and it was confirmed that I did in fact have the credit. Unfortunately , the therapist had to cancel. Not a problem. So I just tried to re-book the appointment and was told they couldnt find anything in the records!! How convenient. The owner Tatiana, will not return calls so they have their clinical managers take the calls. Both Brea and Lauren did not offer a satisfactory response and both were quite condescending. They have no idea about customer service. How would I have verified the last appointment if it was not agreed upon that I had a credit!? Was I going to spring it on them when I got there!?? After a lot of aggravation (let me remind you, this is for a relaxing massage!) I was offered a 1/2 hr complementary after I paid again for an hour! If you get a haircut and your stylist has to leave 1/2 way through, would you give her 1/2 the money!? I guess they feel negative comments doesnt affect their business? Many people read reviews before spending their money.I called corporate, so it is on record. Very dishonest and disloyal to their customers. Stay away!

I had another awesome 90-minute massage- this time with Batya. She is consistently professional, friendly and had great technique. The location is very convenient for me and I always feel comfortable and welcome there - even during COVID.

I booked a 60-minute facial. I arrived ahead of my scheduled time and checked in electronically as required by this location. I waited for a text telling me that they were ready for me, which was 2 minutes before my appointment. So far so good.Got my facial and went out to the front desk to check out only to realize that my facial lasted 40 minutes instead of 60. I tried to get an explanation from the front desk staff and they were tongue tied. Finally, after my repeated question they asked me if I wanted an enhancement. Seriously? They they did not offer an apology or anything, try to make it right, nothing. An enhancement. I declined because there will not be a next time.

I recently purchased a 12 month massage package from the Deerfield location. From the time I walked in Until the time that I loved the service and customer service and professionalism was outstanding. The massage was one of the best deep tissue massages I ever received. Make sure you specify what type of massage you want in the beginning so they can match you up with the appropriate masseuse. I’m probably going to be a customer for life!

This was a wonderful experience! I enjoyed my facial very much. Sandy was nurturing, professional and kind. She did a great job and I felt rejuvenated when I left. I would definitely recommend her!!

I went for pain and tension relief in my lower neck and shoulder area. She told me not to remove my shirt. She put a hot wet towel on my shirt. The massage felt like a child was doing it. I left feeling the same way I came in. I am very disappointed. Another masseuse had to tell me what to do to help relieve the pain. Sharon made me feel like she did not want to do the massage at all.

Had a gift massage and was reluctant to go. It had been very difficult for me to find a massage therapist that I was 100% happy with. I need deep massages and no one really made it for me. That is, until the massage super hero came to town. Andre is the best massage therapist that Ive ever had massage me. Probably the best on the planet, really. The guy is super knowledgeable about his craft and worth booking weekly. Dont just take my word for it though, go see for yourself.

I joined last year to try and make myself get a massage now and then. I have had 3 therapists there so far. One was outstanding and I almost hate to tell anyone because then he’ll get too busy! The other 2 were the type to glide across your skin with hardly any pressure endlessly. After a while I can’t wait till it’s over. Just unpleasant.Andre, however, was amazing. Because I’ve been involved in 3 car accidents in an 18 month period, I have experienced severe pain from whiplash. I’ve been seeing a chiropractor, and that has helped, but the massage Andre gives actually gives me relief. He understands how to connect with the muscles and loosen them up but not go too deep.He really knows his anatomy and uses the knowledge wisely to actually make a difference. Most therapists I’ve had, unfortunately, don’t seem to understand what they are doing. Andre does. I can honestly say, it’s the first time in my life that a massage has helped!

Dana was absolutely amazing! I was literally in tears my back and neck were hurting so bad I was getting headaches and couldnt sleep for 3 days. After my massage I felt sooo much better. I slept so good too that night. I will definitely be back to see Dana. And the girls at the front desk were super sweet even though they were dealing with 2 nasty women that were being total Karens when I was waiting to pay. I live 20 mins away and totally plan to come back to this location.

Unfortunately I just found out that I had to pay out of pocket for my service when the staff was supposed to schedule my next appointment in one month from my initial membership sign up. So if they would explain that to me the first time when I was there scheduling my service this wouldnt happened..

I was very disappointed I had a few sessions built up on the membership and it seemed like I was always missing one or “points”.Last night I went and I got a facial. They give you a few minutes to get ready then my 60 minute facial turned into 32 minutes. Same with the massage. Never longer than 40 minutes. I really enjoyed my massage, but I canceled my membership last night.

Facial was terrible. I have no words… My cousin and I just left and are extremely upset. We both had facials and massages. The massage was great, however, she requested that he focus on her feet and he never touched them.The facial was really bad. She is brand new and needs a lot of work. Her phone went off, didn’t get a robe, was not warned that she was putting a hot towel over my mouth, no music playing, the exfoliants and cleanser went in my mouth and drip down my neck. Was really looking forward to this and left disappointed.

The past few experiences I’ve had at this location have been PHENOMENAL. However my experience today with Front Desk Receptionist: Heather was not very pleasant. She had a rude, nonchalant, condescending, demeanor towards me today & I did not appreciate it. Most likely I’ll not return to this location & try my luck elsewhere.

I had Sharon P for a 90 minute massage on 3/17. From the start, the owner George Ramos made the check in process horrible. I arrived 20 minutes early to do paperwork and wasn’t called into the clinic until 5 mins before my appointment. I was rushed through the paperwork because they were running behind and didn’t have any iPads available. George wanted to control the check in process so much that he wouldn’t even let me navigate through the iPad on my own, and ended the process with asking if I was pregnant. I was finally greeted by my therapist at 6:04 (my appointment was at 6). I discussed areas of focus that I wanted and she agreed. During the massage I had to ask 3 separate times for increased pressure. I also kept hearing talking and I finally sat up to ask her if she had headphones in and she quickly pulled something off. I am fairly certain she was listening to an audio book while providing my service. When I sat up to ask her that, she also didn’t have a mask on, which made me very uncomfortable. Truly the worst massage I’ve ever had! She didn’t focus on anything I asked her to, and didn’t relieve any of my tension. I was stressed the entire massage because of the noises she was making and the audio book. After I confronted her and she made up some excuse of the sound coming through THE CEILING (of a 1 floor establishment) the talking miraculously stopped. She spent 45 minutes alone on just my legs, even though I asked her to focus on my upper body, specifically my neck. She massaged my arms UNDER the sheet. Upon checking out I spoke to George about my experience and how terrible it was and how it was unacceptable that she wasn’t wearing a mask during my treatment. Since it is a Massage Envy policy that a mask is part of their uniform, I have zero tolerance for that, as that could potentially impact my safety. So unsatisfied and could not wait for the 90 minutes to be up!EDITED IN RESPONSE TO THE RESPONSE I RECEIVED ON MY ORIGINAL POST:I am not sure who responded to my original post but I did want to respond again. It was quite an aggressive and extreme response. You ask for honest reviews in the surveys sent, and that is what I gave. I will say that in my original review I stated that I arrived 20 minutes early, but when looking back at the text, I actually arrived 18 minutes early. So I do apologize for that mistake. In regards to other things said- the check in process was rushed and controlled by George. I now understand that that may be just something he likes to do with clients, which is fine if there is enough time. But like I said we were already past our appointment time because there were issues when we first checked in, and I felt very rushed. As you stated, “we take comments and feedback from our clients very seriously” in order to improve. And yet the response I got did not have that feel. As you said, we are each entitled to our opinion and I agree with that. However you were not in the room during my service, and I can assure the last thing I wanted to do was make up fake things that didn’t happen during a 90 minute massage that I was very much looking forward to. Now, if you truly are wanting to take the feedback to improve, here are some things I’d suggest:- provide a link for paperwork to be updated prior to entering the establishment, like you did with the Covid 19 questions. This will eliminate multiple people standing around in the small lobby (not properly social distanced) and eliminate the issue of not enough iPads or iPads freezing or just being short on time.- add a question about pregnancy to the health forms. Personally I do not find it acceptable to ask a woman if she’s pregnant publicly for a multitude of reasons (physical and emotional standards)-enforce with all therapists that it is not optional to wear a mask for everyone’s safety. My two friends who also went with me said their therapists wore their masks the entire time so maybe it’s just checking to ensure that everyone actually follows those guidelines.

I took my Mom for a massage for her back pain yesterday, and today she is feeling so much better. Thank you for your carrying services. I definitely will continue to recommend you.

It was average. No larger towels to wrap around your head to protect hairdo from steam. I think she rushed Thru the massage said it was ok because I had no whiteheads or black heads! Plenty on my chin . Owner asked me if I tipped her? What’s that all about? Doesn’t he pay her well. I did too her according to what I had done.I was a bit disappointed.I had nothing to remove eye make up with . Came directly from work . Wanted a sat or Sun appt .It was ok.

Dana is amazing. She is very strong and checks in regularly to see if she is getting the pressure right. She has released my very stiff hips. I could not ask for a better massage therapist.

Horrible experience!Booked 2 massages for me and a friend, with 2 different masseuse and they were both horrible. We were both charged double the rate we booked for by receptionist Natalia, and then got into a dispute with manager Bianca as she tried to justify being charged double, will NEVER go back and do not recommend anyone to.

I absolutely love my facials with Angela. I get the microdermabrasion twice a month and my skin looks and feels great. She makes the treatment feel as soothing as a massage!

Massage was great.The company itself is a rip off.Do not ever sign up for the monthly program - it takes forever to cancel, and the company makes it incredibly complicated to cancel that.They charge full price if you cancel same day. There is no option to reschedule. They do not charge a cancellation fee, which I would understand. They charge full price.

My masseuse was great BUT they made me show up 25 minutes before my appointment to wait an extra 15 minutes just to shorten my massage by 15 minutes to 45 minutes instead of 60 they are advertising.I have been to a few massage envy locations nationwide but this one was the worst experience so far. I do not want to go back to any of their facilities anytime soon.

I have been a member of Massage Envy Deerfield Beach in the Hillsboro Square Shopping Center for over a year. Unfortunately my experience has been horrible with this location. The first issue is that there is never availability when I call to schedule an appointment. Good luck scheduling a facial on nights or weekends unless you call weeks in advance.Once you are lucky enough to find availability for a service, the front desk staff is very unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and I have found to be rude at times. They care more about being on their cell phones or conducting personal conversation with other staff members (most of the time complaining about their management or other staff members) than helping customers.On TWO seperate occasions I showed up to my scheduled facial appointment only to have the therapist NOT SHOW UP. There was very little apology, and nothing done to make the situation right.There are many times that I do not use my membership for months at a time, causing my hours to stack up. I have twice booked an appointment for myself and my fiance, in which I want to transfer my unused, paid for time. I make this very clear at the time of booking, but every time there is a problem when we show up for our appointments, or a reason I am not able to transfer this time. I understand that there are restrictions, but WHY CAN THIS NOT BE TOLD AT THE TIME OF BOOKING? And their usual response, There is nothing we can do, this is how it is. No apology EVER for mistakes or misinformation provided by their staff.My recommendation is to head south to the Pompano Beach location in the Pompano Beach Marketplace on Federal Highway. This location is cleaner, larger, with pleasant and professional front desk staff and much more availability for both massage and facial. I have also had much better sessions with the therapists at this location that actually listen to your concerns and focus on your requests. I live walking distance to the Hillsboro location, but its worth the extra drive to Pompano to avoid all of the headaches.

Only leaving one star because zero is not an option. Horrible experience and I dont feel comfortable enough to go back and give them another try. Hopefully, others dont have the same experience that I had.

So important to verbally depict the attributes of that special student is a hard-working privilege yet as mentally challenging as writing each lesson plan.Im 58 years old and have been through the acne gauntlet from Accutane through laser, so these words will hopefully sum it up.Outstanding quality of products, cleanliness and hygiene, ambiance, secretarial skills in booking, genuine kindness, and machine maintenance.The results of their aestheticians and massage therapists exceeded that of those from the thirty years plus at my New York home.Florida is my new Shangri-La. And massage envy is my new go-to for what my husband says, You look so good. Thank you, Miss Angela. And a thank you to Miss Batya for realigning my muscles and also making me feel much better.
