Im giving 1 star to the overall experience, because, I made a reservation to celebrate my boyfriends birthday, and they offered me a petals of roses on the table with balloons, I really wanted something special for him, I spoke with someone days before and also I confirmed the day before, when we arrived, they said that somebody made a mistake and canceled my reservation and they made us wait sitting in another place while they were setting our table, I was so upset and I cried. The waiter and waitress were kind and the food was delicious but I couldnt enjoyed it. Also they just put balloons on the table and didnt put petals of roses, the host said it that they will put it right now and I said not, didnt matter at that time, it was late they tried to put a surprise in from of him. You can go to this place, but not to surprise anyone. I will never make a reservation to surprise anyone, I had this bad experience, so I dont think Im going to this place anymore, also the dress code for the waitress looks inappropriate. They are pretty they dont need to show up their bodies.

Great service tonight from Stefania!!We were a party of 8 and came to see The Bolivia Feminino. What a great venue and opportunity. Applause for the owners for making this happen. The Pandeja Paisa was yummy too! Get the Pina Colada !Keep doing an amazing job! Que viva Latino Americano!

Ill rate it 1 bc the food didnt have a good taste at all and if they ecuadorian they should have a great sazon but they didnt . And the tips we give it how many we want and they put it in there how much they wanted us to give , also we waited the food for 1 1/2 for it to come out . i dont recommend anybody that wants an Ecuadorian food here never again ! .

It was my first time in this place. Just perfect, great service, great security. Music was from the 80s, 90s, 20s, and everything else. Great clientele, very polite and happy.Highly recommended..

I would rate the food zero if I could, it was horrible!! The green plantains and french fries were frozen food (not authentic), the mashed potatoes were from powder, the salmon tasted old and was VERY salty (I think they tried to cover that it wasn’t fresh with the salt, I literally got nauseous. My boyfriend asked for his steak medium rare and it was cooked so well done, some parts were burnt. The service was poor because the waitress ignored us. We will never return, nor ever recommend this horrendous restaurant.

Our waitress Carolina was wonderful and the food was excellent, especially the presentation. Definitely coming back soon.

Nice place, great food, nice people, variety of food, quality, temperature and speed, make this a good place to go dinner, lunch, even breakfast. I would eat there every day. Ive visiting different locations from the chain and they are all 100% from what you eat, to the way you are treated. They also have DJ and live performances, bringing international artists at this location. No doubt I will go back.

Food lacked flavor. Our server was nice however drinks took too long to come out and didn’t ever check on us if we needed anything which we did and had to keep asking other servers that are serving others (to top that off they included $18 tip on the bill). Took an hour drive to come to this place and was pretty disappointed. The food trucks outside of this place are MUCH better. Not coming back to this place.

Had a great night for my bf birthday. It was just him and I who went. The place wasnt packed as it should have been. This place has lots of potential I just dont think they market it enough 😕The DJ was awesome he played all great music. Check out my videos. The drinks are delicious and they carry so many lables, apps are very tasty and portion sizes to price are very reasonable. They have a lot of different events in the restaurant such as live music and karaoke as well as the bar in the lower left level, where you can order hookah and dance to different types of music depending on the day.

I went to see a show with my girlfriend on Friday, July 14 at this restaurant. The atmosphere was great, however, in waiting we ordered a bandeja paisa and a Hawaiian piña colada that comes in its own pineapple. The piña colada was $25 and I was expecting something good but I could have made a better drink myself. Also it did not have a good alcohol to drink ratio, it had no alcohol at all.We brought the tickets to the de que va show online and they said itd begin at 9pm. We show up at 9pm but the restaurant said the show begins at midnight. We did not want to wait 3 hours for a show. We figured we are here lets order drinks and food.We ordered the food bandeja paisa and despite it looking magnificent it lacked flavor in every department. On top of that the food made me throw up 30 minutes later and made my girlfriend feel sick. After telling the waiter I got sick from their food he said hed look for the manager. He comes back a few minutes later and says the manager isnt there. We ended up leaving by 10:45pm for this terrible experience. We missed the show we had brought tickets for initially and we paid in full price for food that got me sick and a 25 dollar drink that was not very pleasing.I used to come here alot and had good experiences before. After this terrible experience I will not be going back.

Great place very friendly staff seated very quickly drinks were very good food was amazing great atmosphere all the way around dishes are very nicely plated and presented highly recommend parking is a bit of an issue but overall great experience

This place is garbage, the food isnt good, the atmosphere is boring/lame and the DJ they currently have only plays one genre of music. I couldnt even have a regular conversation with people due to the volume of the music too, we all had to basically yell at each other in order to hear each other. I do not recommend this place at all, there are much better places to go to, 100%.

I went to this restaurant the last month with some friends, Nicole Espinoza was our server, she gave us a prime level service and was professional and kind always. I ordered a cut of entraña, medium-rare but it arrived a little more cooked, anyway it was good, the server gave us the option of changing the dish at the time but it wasnt a big problem for me and I ate it anyway, the atmosphere is Latin music and high volume which I didnt dislike but I would have preferred to eat a little more quietly, very good experience in general. I will come back to see Nicole again and try encebollado that she recommended us as the principle dish of her country, she is beatiful😍

If you visit Queens and would like to try ecuadorian cuisine, come here. Great food, great service. Friday and Saturday night are crowded.

My Husband and I wanted to try something different since we always eat out at restaurants in BK n NYC. We wanted Latin food we decided to try this place. Drinks were good, food was good big portions, appetizers were delicious but I’m not ok with a 16% gratuity charge!! which I did not see advertised on the menu Plus a 3.5% credit card fee which was advertised 🤨$30 in fees nerve I pay less ordering in with grub hub. I could had spent that $ on drinks and still tip well. We will NEVER go back!!!!! Let the tip be the customers choice especially when waiters are not even offering water and please do better with napkins. We spent $178! n had 1 paper napkin each when we asked for more we got 1 more each are you kidding me! Big fail get it together there’s other great restaurants around plus all the food trucks around the corner don’t be greedy!! Allow the customers to tip what they choose depending on service don’t force it on your customers you will loose more!!!

It is a good place to have dinner and some weekends they have dj and some live performances. It could be really crowded. Sometimes the servers can take for ever to come and check on you. Some have an attitude, they also have the tip included eventhough on the bill it says suggested but when they run my card it was already charge the tip not a good practice.

Too expensive for such a inadequate space. If someone is performing there are columns blocking the view to the stage doesn’t matter where you stand. If you want to be closer to the stage they force you to buy at least 2 bottles to access the “VIP” which is not really anything special, the view is block anyways.Watch out for waiters walking through the crowd with trays full of food or the “famous hookah”. The reason for one star is the ok sound. The food is ok, nothing special about.My recommendation honestly is moving the stage to the left so at least if you overpay for an ok spectacle you can enjoy the performance and not watch half live and the other half on the tv screens.Very disappointing experience.

It took a bit long for the waiter to take our order, drinks were a bit sweat to our taste but good overall. Food is great.

Their lunch special is an excellent deal.For $12 I got a delicious creamy soup and a steak served with rice. The presentation is excellent and I will be back!

The Place is too overpriced. Entrance fee is higher for VIP aside from purchasing a bottle. Which the waiters to do not provide the drink menus to check the prices they only give you estimates and later surprise you with a bill. Paying VIP section is not worth it because people from General Admission will stand up and block your view from watching the show. There was a lot of technical difficulties which was like about half an hour of time that was wasted . So people from VIP are not treated as VIP, do not let yourself be fooled. I do not recommend this place .

To Whom It Concerns: I have no complaints about the service or the food, I consider both to be excellent, but I do consider that the music they play for one to enjoy a good meal and with company is absolutely disastrous.I consider that listening to the vulgarities of the reggaeton when enjoying a meal and many times you have to raise your voice to have a decent conversation is simply UNACCEPTABLE in a restaurant,that ambiance will better be appreciated at night time, when the nightclub is at full..Thanks

To whoever wants to enjoy tasty Latin food, this is a place to try it out. Lunches are affordable and delicious as well as multiple choices to pick from, it includes a soup of the day. Salsa and bachata music in the background makes it a very enjoyable place to eat. I’ve been coming multiple times and they never disappoint me. Thank you Sabor Latino!

Horrible experience!!!!To start once I walked in with my family, the seating arrangement was bad (that should of been my cue to walk out)First we were asked about drinks by someone who we thought was our server (turns out he was taking care of another area) Then our actual server Laura brings our drinks (20mins later) one was a ginger ale that was totally flat. My husband asked for another one, to which our server gave an attitude about but fine she brought another drink.(Then our food took another 40mins)As we finally get our food, not once did the server or one of the bussers came by to ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything.When they finally came by was to clean up, so i just asked for the check. To my surprise, they had included tip and 2 different prices if we decided to pay cash or card. To be honest i understand working in customer service such as a restaurant tip is how they get most of their pay but should also be considered they were horrible assisting customers. Anyways we paid and just walked out.I will never go back. As a matter of fact i will be telling all my family and friends of my horrible experience. Although the food was decent, just the customer experience makes me not want to come back to this place. Is a shame how unprofessional and unorganized this restaurant is.

I ordered the second de chivo and the meat was first of all cold and just like 4 big chunks. Then the rice was all cocolon. (Crunchy rice) Also the atmosphere is so dark we barely could see our food.

This restaurant is awesome! The food is incredibly fresh and yummy. The staff is super friendly and the vibe is really cool. I enjoyed the ceviche and the bolones mixto. The empanada verde is to die for.

I ordered a crab soup. It was basically a plantain soup with a crab on top. It was tasty but no crab meat in the soup.

Don’t recommend unless you want to get swindled. We are two first gen Latinas that got charged 70 dollars for two happy hour margaritas. I’m sorry our Spanish is too, chueco for y’all. But also, not okay lol also, daddy yankee was on one of the bar tv screens but the music was Marc Anthony. It was very disorienting. Don’t recommend unless you want to get ripped off and want a migraine. Alexa, please translate to Spanish.

I celebrated my birthday here last night. 10/10!! The food, the vibes, the atmosphere, the drinks and the DJs were absolutely amazing! The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be going back.

HORRIBLE don’t even bother coming for any latin concert. They give you a time and keep you waiting for hours, they basically want you to get there early just so you spend your money on drinks and food, also no place to stand very uncomfortable and smells bad lol lose/lose

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It was a horrible experience. I was their last night for the Dj Flex show and had vip tickets and will not be returning here ever again. For one you can’t even get up to the bathroom. Which makes me wonder God Forbid their was an emergency because of the amount of people their is. People will squish each other and not be able to leave and lives will be lost!! I understand a business is a business but as the owner you have to consider these are peoples lives we aren’t just numbers. I make this observation because I had a horrible time from the worrying, to not being able to walk, go to the bathroom and seeing how even the waiters couldn’t get by and noticed how some even had knifes poking out of their pocket. I don’t think this should be allowed that they have knifes in their pockets and if they have to cut any lemons that should be done in the kitchen area. I recommend everyone takes their business elsewhere. We paid extra to have a vip table but because they want to have more people go in they don’t take into consideration that for one we couldn’t see anything and we were right by the stage and since people are so squished we had people spilling drinks on us also.

I was not gonna leave a review but as per their request via text here it is the experience in this place lets see first our waitress after bringing our first drink never came back to ask if anyone needed refills or anything ..second the food arrives to our table almost 48 minutes later of putting in the order ... once the food arrives to the table noone came back around the table to ask if anyone needed any water or anything... pricing on the food very expensive and very little food for the money when it was time to pay since we split the bill in half they charged us almost 50 dollars in gratuity.. this was a table with 11 people ok... nobody around waitressing until we were done we had to get someone to bring drinks to our table ... obligated gratuity and the service minus 2 Stars... we drove 2 hours to this place from New Jersey for nothing wont go back to this place again ... horrible service..I hope management gets this better ah and on top of it they wont take credit cards because their system was down ...

They need better seats. Very uncomfortable when your trying to eat.. and the outfits have to go. Horrible. Heavy girls shouldnt be wearing skin tight outfits. Its gross.

There worse experience ever! I’m never coming back to this place! I went there to a Vallenato night I paid $220 for a table, they wanted us to pay $260 in a bottle of your choice (worth $35 tops) and not even the big ones or else we will have to leave the table (that I already paid) and stay standing on the bar the rest of the evening. That amount was on top of whatever else we wanted to order (food or drinks) I decided to stand and see a little of the show and go home. But no! After 2 hours and a half the group is still no show I’ve being standing the hole time. And I keep buying cocktail’s (because this is what I wanted) that keep on coming up in price! The firts round where $12 and the second one $20 each! By this stage I’m completely disappointed and tired. I left the place having spend a total of $400 (for 2) and I didn’t even get to see the group!!!!

Absolutely terrible the food was cold the picadera of mixed meats looked terrible and tasted terrible dry over cooked chicken and beef tasted old plantains were cold yuca was cold spent 400 definitely not worth it and the waiter definitely didn’t deserve a $60.00 tip the guy didn’t once come an checkin in if we needed anything.

I pickup food that was cangrejo soup not flavor the cangrejo was very dry also i buy rice with cangrejo that was soso and also i buy encebollado de pescado not flavor too thats the worst food i see allot marketing about this restaurant i liven in Brooklyn but Im really honest thats was the worst food

Came here tonight the Place looks trendy, good music , drink presentation was amazing except the food and dessert took a while to be brought out and while trying to Cancel the desert it magically appeared and the server wouldn’t comp or remove it from the bill. They need more staff if they can’t handle the volume of guest. Unacceptable

My experience was so horrible. I went 3/27/21 for my birthday. The host was immediately rude and confrontational.. she stated that she had to separate a party of 7 and only seat 4 to a table per doh guidelines which btw is a lie. She was arrogant and aggressive. We told her we called for a reservation for a party of 7, once we arrived they made us separate or we couldn’t sit. I’ve sat at indoor dining with my entire family before and we were able to stay with one another. Also, I ordered the golden salmon dish.. the mashed potatoes were instant mashed potatoes. The dish was served cold. The salmon was burnt. The shrimps had no white sauce and it was chopped up against my knowing. I wish I can give this place a 0/4 stars. The worst customer service to date and horrible food. They claimed they Don’t serve alcohol when my family and I asked but their bar was open and other people had beers and drinks on their table. They charge gratuity and have the nerve to ask for more tip. They imposed their authority and abused it with how we wanted to be seated. Very unpleasant place and the place was far too dark.

Drunk staff (manager). I have come here plenty of times and I know what real service looks like. This time no one greeted us or seated us. I felt very racially discriminated because I am Ecuadorian and walked in with my coworker who was celebrating his birthday but he is black. Then the manager an older lady that was not even wearing a uniform but a purple shirt bumped in to us when we decided to walk to where we wanted to sit since no one seated us. Right away she ask for identifications, after showing we where told no drinks because police inspector was on sight. We did not want to drink but eat a meal so we stood. Then a group of people walked in who where Ecuadorian descendants they got seated and serve popcorn right away and treated attentively. I never felt so disrespected only reason I stood because it was my coworkers birthday 3/13/19 and he wanted to try the Ecuadorian food. Very disappointed with the staff that try to cover the fact that the manager was intoxicated. I also ask to speak to the owner but was denied to speak to him. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I had by far.

The food here is great and the Ecuadorian food is delicious and authentic. The portions are not small like others have said and they will fill you up unless you are use to super large portions. People complaining about the prices then they should not have went to sabor Latino, there is a food truck right around the corner of they wanted something cheaper and they had their menu posted in the front. I do not think the food is expensive and you really do get what you pay for. If you are in a hurry this is not the place to go but if you want to try something new and delicious and have time to spare this is the place. I would give it five stars except for the fact that the service is slow. The shows and music are great.

We celebrated my wife’s bday last Friday here. What a great time. Only had a picada as we got there late. We went for the Adolesentes show. Show was short but awesome. Great music good food. We bought a bottle a bit pricy at over $300 but split between the 5 of us wasn’t too bad. We were having such a great time we stayed until they closed way after the mini concert. Will definitely be back, mature no drama crowd.

So I went last night for Guillermo Davilas concert. I live in FL and Im staying in CT for a couple days. I drove 1 hr and 30 min to see this guy. First, very unorganized. The ticket stated that the concert was supposed to start at 10 pm and I arrived at 9:45 pm. Guillermo did not start singing untill 12:30 am. There was no directions whatsoever on where to go, or where to enter the place. Everyone was confused. I believe it is easy to start sitting people at their table as they come, but they kept sending people back and forth to different entries. Please keep in mind that this place is in the ghetto. If I knew that, I wouldnt have even bothered coming. I bought my ticket online and spent $80.00 for a VIP ticket. Little did I know, a VIP ticket doesnt include tabels or drinks, and they charged $260 for the table and the bottle. Food was good. I ordered an appetizer, and my waitress was great. The tip was already included, so I ended up paying $340 at the end of the night plus the $80.00. In total, I ended up paying $440.00 on just me, one person. Now, lets talk about old school Guillermo Davila. He is almost in his 70s. Ive been to many concerts. Ive seen big artists like Ana Gabriel, Juan Gabriel, Chayanne, Marc Anthony and the list continues. Ive never paid that much money. Not even for Daddy yankee and Don Omar. The sound system and the lightning was awful 😖 😱. I couldnt understand the words. The experience was just bad👎.Regarding Guillermo, I been following his journey , I am fan. His interaction with the public was so poor. I guess he was in a rush or tired. He even said lets do this, I want to go home. He forgot one of the most important things in the world , how to stay humble. He forgot where he came from. It was to the point where I was able to feel that his energy was not there with us, the fans. The disappointment was so drastic, that I even unfollowed him. Not that he needs my support, but my idea of him was very different.

Great spot to taste all kinds of food, especially Ecuadorian. Drinks are very good as well. Great atmosphere especially when there is a live show. Tons of dancing and loud club type music, and of course, national Ecuadorian music. I cant think of any other Ecuadorian spot that Ive seen people from all kinds of countries join and have a good night out. I recommend it!

My family wanted to celebrate my dads birthday differently this year and dine at this latin place. We made a reservation a day ahead and was not able to sit. We waited 30 minutes and the hostess kept giving away poor excuses. I was hoping that the manager Rosa, will help but she was not capable of doing that either. If the establishment was having an event, they should have been more prepared because it was not easy trying to find another place after 9 pm especially with hungry children. Will not be coming this place ever again!

So I went here for a baptism party and looks are deceiving. When you first walk in- to the right side it looks like a tiny restaurant but apparently to the left is a much larger room for parties and what not. Im not a big fan of the neighborhood- its extremely congested as its right off Roosevelt Avenue so be sure to get there earlier to look for parking if youre driving. I feel like if I would have went here in a small group - my experience would have been better. As I said I was apart of a large party so Im going to be understanding about the service. Id have to go back and try it again. I just felt the service was pretty bad. I asked for items several times that took over an hour to get to me- it was frustrating. Multiple people had to ask as well- I felt it was pretty disorganized for a group our size. So maybe try another place if you plan to have a large group. They didnt seem to know what to do. But I do have to say- the food was very delicious. Again- it was a large group so the food was limited to just three dishes. I ordered the churrasco and it was very delicious. Definitely no complaints about the food!

Not a good experience. For context, I came here during the afternoon. First, the place, most seats and tables are worn out and are obviously old. Secondly, the music was extremely loud for 12pm. Third, the plating is very bad, this restaurant tries to be unique by placing the rice, fries, meat etc in separate bowls making it hard to eat. Finally the food, although it was good, the horribly plating made the whole experience bad making me not come back.

Food wasn’t bad, but it is too expensive. The service was not great at all, our waitress did not check on us once but at the end when we asked for our check. The tip was already included and I think they should remove that policy because, as mentioned before, there was no costumer service whatsoever from her. We had 3 other people approach to deliver whether it was the drinks or the food or the bowl of popcorn the give you to munch on meanwhile. The lady, because she seemed to be older than us, touched The young gentleman I was with, in a very friendly way. If I was in that position I’d feel very uncomfortable, and he was. I don’t think this is a professional way to approach another unless you know them.

Mini concert/restaurant experience. Bad advertisement in the website where we bought the tickets. Food was decent, nothing crazy but what was crazy was the price of the drinks, so many fees I think everyone talked about it in the reviews. Staff looked unstable, need more people or more management. They took so long too, and we had to wait for silver ware. When it comes to the mink concert, pretty scary at first, we had VIP Tickets and it looked like nobody knew about it, idk what was going on there. The place looked okay btw, simple. The DJ was good but THE MUSIC IS SO LOUD, how am I supposed to talk to someone if I can barely hear my thoughts. Now, when it comes to the concert, the crowd, OHH well that was nice, in this case there was a lot of people from BOLIVIA, we went there at 8 as the page was advertised and we waited 4 hours + because there was no information about when the concert was gonna start. Like I said, Bonny Lovy, Azul Azul were performing that day, kinda short not gonna lie but idk if it’s good or bad, the crowd was chill but happy and not dead, very nice but this is an specific day, so it depends on what day you go. Overall 2 out of 5 and Im being nice. I am not going back but this is my opinion, however if you are used to this kind of places I’m pretty sure you have seen worst. Have a good day! Also the drinks are very expensive.

Sabor Latino is a really great place to find both great Latin music and food. On specific nights they have Karaoke time and also bring local talent and other well known singers to perform live. The food here is delicious and the vibes are always really good. They have all types of drinks and also hookah available. The restaurant on the first floor tend to be a much more mature and older crowd. Underneath the restaurant there is SL Lounge which typically brings in a much younger crowd of people. Great place to celebrate birthdays and other major events with friends and family. Fair warning, if you want to bring family stick to the first floor restaurant. If you are bringing friends do either. Sometimes the downstairs lounge can get a big chaotic and rowdy because of the younger crowds. But it’s a party seen so expect everything.

This is probably one of my favorite places to eat at! Down to the drinks and the food everything is delicious! Even though it gets busy during the weekends it’s for all the good reasons.

Prices are reasonable for the drinks. This place is characteristic of having live presentations with renowned artists from all over Latin America. Is a good idea to be there early to get the seats. The staff is always friendly.

Nice place and really great food!!

Terrible service, we were there for a birthday party dinner event. We had 13 guests and 2 of those gusta were 20 years old. They refuse to sale us any beer at the table which i understood. But, went to the bar and was told i could not order from the bar but just from the table waiter. The waiter would not sale us anything so i told them i would buy the drink and stay at the bar. They refused and said if i was in a table with miniors I cannot get a alcohol. The experience was horrible as they charged 20$ each person to come in and eat! That is outrages as we have to buy food and tip and jacket check in. I will never come here again.

Fun Latino bar/club. Drinks are around $10 each and up. Karaoke night, live DJ, basement turns into a dancefloor. Friendly staff. Went on memorial day. It wasnt too crowded.Would definitely come back again on a weekend.

Food was good, drinks are worth the price. Service makes you wish you never stepped foot in the place. First it took 25 minutes to get some water and 3 drinks, then because of COVID19 they asked us to move our table a little further back (which is fine), but our waitress didn’t wait, grabbed the table (yes with all the drinks on it) and pulled it, causing the ENTIRE Pina Colada to spill all over me and my partner.Apologies were barely given, and we had to ASK for a new drink instead of the one that spilled.And this is not the end- our food arrived 2 meals at a time with 10 minutes of waiting in between, and when the last plate arrived it was WRONG, the waitress came back and blamed US for ordering the wrong thing.Horrible experience. Not worth your time, your money, and the risk of COVID.

Beware of the so called concerts by Latin artists held at this place. On 2/28/2020 the so called concert by Guillermo Davila which supposed to start at 9:00pm, all social media Ads and reminders said 9:00pm, so we showed up at 8:45pm and waited until 10pm but the singer did not showed up, then we asked the people who work there and we were told that he will show up around 1:00am, and if we wanted to leave no refund for tickets bought because we bought them online, total rip off and misleading on timing. We left the place without seeing him and wasted our money on the tickets because we were not going to wait 5 to 7 hours for the singer to show up. The place is too small and crowded to hold a concert, no seating unless you pay VIP or buy a wine table. Better off paying little bit more and watch real concerts at the like of Madison square garden or Radio City.

Food looks fancy but the portions are small. The music was a bit loud so there was no chance to socialize with our guests not really a preference of mine but to each their own.

Very nice looking but we(group of 6) got here at 11 waited and hour and half to get our food(food looked appetizing but some cold). others came, sat, ate and left by the time we got our food. server lacked attentiveness to our table, probably my first and last time coming.

We celebrated my brothers university graduation here last night and I loved the service, food especially the picada was delicious and the atmosphere is fun. Very latin. Good music and is a very spacious restaurant for the area.

Horrible, just horrible. Came for an event that supposedly had doors opening at 9. It was 10:30 and we were all waiting outside in what felt like 115 degree weather bec of the food trucks. Personnel would just keep saying 10 mins. Simply awful service.

Im from Illinois, I been in this place for my Birthday and We did buy à 3 bottles of Scotch and we pay already and them did charge to me a extra bottle ,and also thye pass my credit card 3 times and the bank luckeed my credit card and the bank request for this charge,cause I didnt sing the voucher and they made à fraud signed them with out me signed keeping ice when you go this place,

The service here is honestly the worst Ive ever experienced in my life, we waited 2 hours for our food and by the time we got it, the food was cold. Also overly expensive drinks for no reason, I learned here that my virgin pina colada cost the same as one with alcohol (10$!!) which I thought was completely absurd. We also ordered a hookah and had to wait an hour for it. Our waiter was extremely nice and tried to make it up by giving us free dessert, but he just didnt give us any attention what so ever. I will NEVER be going back here again.

I have been ordering 1 dish for over a year from this place. the picada over time keeps getting smaller and less meat, more potatoe and just like the last time I called and complained there was no cassava ( yuca). I called sabor latino, and although the lady who I spoke to about my complaint listened, she was quick to rush me off the phone. disappointed because I used to order for my family and get togethers and now I wont.

I would have given this place 4 stars but I can;t in all honesty do that.My friends and I spend New Years 2017-2017 at this place (not the first time),but this time the place was to the dangerous level. There was noplace to dance. The dance floor was elbow to elbow, by midnight people were dancing on the very narrow isles. The waitresses kept pushing you out of the way with their trays of food and drinks. Im sure the amount of people surpass the allowed legal capacity. must people were drunk way over the legal capacity; had there been any kind of emergency very few people would have been able to remember or find the emergency exits due to the fact that there was not an empty inch to move. The DG was no good, he played the music in the most loud manner he could. I think he thought that the louder the better.he ruined the music you couldnt.. understand the lyrics, or anything he said. it was just a loud.rowdy,screaming noise. we all came home with headache. and terrible ringing in the ears that lasted two days.We are used to going to clubs and the noise, but this place is way too small to play the music so loud. The owner of this place has to be a little less greedy, He makes enough money with the coercion to get the patrons to buy expensive bottles of hard liquor even if they are not hardcore drinkers and preferwine or mixed drinks. I hate to write such a negative review but maybe it will help the management improve the place.We like the crowed, we love the waitresses,the service the provide is great,The place is relatively clean, although they need to fix the floor.

It’s ok not the best

Last time we went to this place was one day where it was Tony Vega and they charged us 40 dollars. We waited from 6pm to midnight and he still didnt arrive. They charged us for the table on top of the 40 dollars and then they nickel and dime you the entire time oh by the way, we sat all the way to the back because they divided the room with bar tables no chairs in the front closer to stage and on top of the 40 bucks, they wanted to charge extra to go thru the partition and stand closer where they filled the tables with bottle service! Mandatory to stay behind the partió which was the nose bleeds section no chairs for those not ordering food on the limited tables all the way in the back. So for 40 bucks we got treated like second class citizens (which the irony does not fall on me that this place us in Queens and the owners are Ecuadorians) but so we are now treated as if we paid their normal 10 bucks to get in this place and then nickel and dime us, no Tony Vega (we left we got tired of the treatment we felt in the way even tho we paid our drinks the entire night was ridiculously expensive we should have gone to the city and seen a Broadway show for the amount of money we spent that night and never saw the show). We heard he finally showed up after we left after midnight. Last time we go to this place.

Probably the worst place to go see a concert in Queens. You pay for the ticket for the show then they want to force you to buy a bottle if you want to see the show from a decent seat inside if not they put you back where you cant see anything. Why should I be forced to drink if I dont want to in order to see the concert I already paid for? its abusive!

I give them a star because I can’t give it any less. This could have been a great night, but this place’s service SUCKED. What a way to alianate Latinos even more after we’re persecuted by everyone else. Instead of inclusiveness it’s the must divisive place I’ve ever been to. The bouncers somehow think they’re part of CIA and anyone who hasn’t paid more than $40 (40! I pay even less than that for a show at a major venue in Manhattan) is pushed toarwads the back of the venue. Also, god forbid you’re having a good time because they will make sure you stop dancing too much. Just yuck all around. Will never ever spend a dollar there or anywhere associated with them. This place is amazing all around from time you come in and by the time your food is served. The waiters and waitresses have a traditional attire which is a cool idea in my opinion. The decor of the place is traditional as well but it does make you feel like you are in Ecuador but in a more modern era. Now the food...my God was everything so fresh. Everything was delicious. I myself recommend the bandeja montañero which was just amazing from the beans, to the rice, the salad, the beef and pork followed by 2 sunny side eggs which bring all these items together. Their chaulafan is also amazing which is a type of fried rice with shrimp, pork and egg. Their salchipapas which is steak fries and Ecuadorian hot dogs was also good which may seem simple but was amazing as a snack. I will be coming here occasionally and mind you i live in Harlem so it is definitely worth the trip. Finally make sure to order an inca kola or manzana soda to wash down the food...it makes all the difference. This restaurant is worth the 5 stars.

Wow lets see great music except when they play happybirthday over the loud speakers. Overpriced food. U get huge plates with very to nothing of your main dish more salad and rice. The sangria had no liquor and tasted water down... u might as well come tipsy and full before getting here. . This should just be a club. Place seem very stereotypical spanish place. Plus water is only in bottle......... one star for the music

Keep in mind that when there are events you only pay to enter to the place. Paying the en trance does not guarantee you a table. If your are mlm or than 4 ppl and want a table you have to get a bottle worth of 200.00. If you are more than 9 3 bottles a total of 540.00 plus tax and tip in other words 600.00.

This place was really nice, I could imagine it before covid-19. A wonderful place to dance. But all in all, I had a wonderful dinner (ceviche) it was so good. The music was wonderful too

If I could give it no stars I would, this is my second time going to this place trying to give it a chance but it’s a big no since somebody stole my phone in their bathroom and they did nothing about it instead they said they can’t and won’t do anything and apparently this place is not secure either since “their cameras never work” I wonder how they pass their inspection. Dont expect zagat quality, but our party of 9 were satisfied with their dishes. I personally like their attempt to putting regular spanish meals with a gourmet twist & great presentation. The waitresses MUST improve their attentiveness. Pic is a bandeja montañero served fancy. I enjoyed it.

Stereotypical Spanish place? First there arent that many restaurants with lounges in NYC. Second, this place has a great mix of Colombian, Ecuadorian & Peruvian food. They have the best ceviche and they have tons of drinks besides the usual full bar.

Thursday night from 10 to 12, 10 dollars buy you unlimited drinks (and the drinks include mid-shelf liquors). Music is a decent mixture of Latin and mainstream.

They dont do delivery thats what the Lady Who pick up the phone say and Im on 9131 lamont Avenue is like 9 minutes away why guayacos is 12 minutes away and they do delivery
