1st time here. Clean & professional atmosphere. The main receptionist helping me was clearly in training & the manager (?) appeared to be patient & helpful with the new hire. So often those with authority do not show these characteristics. My massage therapist Victoria was professional & personable, enough so that I signed up for 6 months. Ive received massages at the Renaissance & there is no difference in quality of services provided.
I had a severe allergic reaction after visiting this place!! I have gotten plenty massages before at other establishments and never had any issues. I was gifted a massage here and went without knowing much. The service is okay but the technique of the massage itself was mediocre. Then about 45 minutes after the massage I start breaking out with a rash on my face. I went home and washed my face but it was too late it kept getting worse. My face was red, and puffy, and extremely itchy. I never change any of my hygiene products or detergent so it wasn’t anything like that. I didn’t eat anything different or touch anything different besides the massage table. I waited until the next day but it was getting worse and started burning so I had to go to the hospital where they confirmed it was in fact an allergic reaction. I’m not sure if it’s what they use to wash their materials or if they just don’t wash them. Either way I will never return to this place again!
After informing this location that the mother of my child (she works at this location)may have placed my son in danger, this facility refused to contact law enforcement and provide them with her home address in order for them to perform a wellness check. Is this the kind of place/management that the community should be giving money to? Im guessing there are other non-corporate locations that put family above corporate policies. Their policies are not only embarrassing, but potentially dangerous.
I saw LaCentia today for rotator cuff pain. She did an amazing job at finding my trigger points and easing my pain and discomfort. Will definitely be back to see her in a month
This place sucks if I could give this place zero stars I would. They talk you into getting a membership $75 for a massage once a month. The problem is they never have any appointments and for some reason every time I finally do get an appointment booked, it gets cancelled last minute. For the most part I always let it go but this most recent appointment I was looking forward to. I’m a new mom and it’s hard for me to get time away from the baby for self care. I knew this particular day that I was going to be free so I decided to book this appointment way in advance. I kid you not the same day of my appointment just a couple of hour before they call me and cancel my appointment. I was so hurt because I really needed this time for my mental health and there was nothing they could do to make up for it. I’ve had my membership for 5 months and only been able to use 1 massage because they have either been cancelled or no appointments available. Also I’m never able to speak to a manager. This place is not worth the membership.
The place looks pristine in the outside, the rooms don’t. The feeling of being in an outdated place. They take you to the relaxing room- which is dark on purpose, but there’s nothing you can do in the dark, so waiting there for 20’ is lame. When the practitioner arrived, they took me to the room and started working. The technic was overall good. Can’t tell who they were. The bed was warm, but there are no signs of how often they change the sheets or pillows, which looked suspicious to me. And since you can choose your level of clothing, who knows what happened before?!The practitioner was so in a hurry to dispatch me that I was never offered ‘the so important for staying hydrated water’ after the therapy.I have never been to this place before, or company. I’m glad no one offered me the membership. Another thing I’m glad about: not applying any enhancements to my treatment.Nothing is truly wrong, but it isn’t the best place to go either.
I’ve been a member of Massage Envy for a few months now and my therapist Lacentia ALWAYS gives the BEST and relaxing experience and delivers consistently and marvelously. Lacentia always greets me with such a warm spirit and she is very good at listening to my concerns about various pain points on my body. She is the absolute best therapist I have ever had! Lacentia is always very diligent in working on my problem areas. I would definitely recommend Lacentia at Massage Envy located on Skibo road to anyone looking to get an amazing massage experience.
PROSMy husband booked a facial and a massage for me VDay and it was so well needed. When I walked in, I was greeted by Jenna. She was so sweet and very helpful.Facial- My facial was done by Nichole and I very much enjoyed her. She was very informative when answering my questions. My skin was glowing when I walked out that room.Massage- I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lacentia!!!! She was amazing. She found all the stress knot and got rid of them just like that but yet was so gentle. Lacentia knows what she is doing and highly recommend her. I wish I could put her in my pocket and take her everywhere with me.CONSThe front desk manager was rude and unprofessional. I received a phone call from my grandma during my facial so I decided to call her back after my facial. While I was waiting for my massage I called my grandma. Ms. Terry brings a client back to the waiting lounge and tells me I am not allowed to be on the phone because of previous complaints but if Id like I can go to main lobby, which is out front. I tell my grandma Hey I cant be on the phone and tell Terry that it is ok I will just call her later. I get my masssage, which again was amazing, BIG SHOUT OUT TO LACENTIA. I go to the front to checkout ( I had already paid but Jenna wanted to tell me about the membership program.) We sit down and shes going through the froms and explaining everything to me. We then walk up to the counter so Jenna can finish signing me up for the program. We get to laughing about an old military ID (nothing serious). Ms. Terry turns to us and says can you keep it down I am with a customer. We were all talking the same. No one was being loud, I mean we are in a massage parlor, we have more sense than that. So at this point I am whispering to Jenna. I finally finish my signing up and this manager turns to HER customer and says Im sorry Ms. dontknowhername, next time you come in itll be quieter. So I walked out because I just had my stress knots worked out and she was working them back in. I went back after a few minutes to get a manager name and a phone number. Jenna informed me that Ashley was the manager and I would have to call her. I am literally WHISPERING and asking Jenna for a higher up manager name and phone. I was talking low because one , Ms. Terry still a had the customer ( who not one time complained about noise or not being able to hear) and two I had no intentions of having a conversation anymore, I simply wanted a name and number so I could cancel my membership I JUST SIGNED UP FOR!! While Jenna was giving me Ashleys name , Terry from where she was at was trying to tell Jenna that she was wrong and that was not her (terry) last name. Well Jenna was not giving me Terry last name, she was giving me the first initial of Ashley last name because she did not how to spell it. I respectfully told Terry I am not talking to you or about you so please just deal with the customer in front of you and I will get the information I need from Jenna. She then told another employee to give me Ashley number because I had a right to complain. All I wanted to do was call and get my account canceled. I mean her customer had to ask her to finish with her first before engaging with me, which I had no intentions of talking to this woman after the comment she made and just her demeanor with her employees was terrible. She seemed pretty nice to her other customers but i dont know maybe she didnt like my shirt or something.GREAT facility! AMAZING services by the techs!!! POOR customer service from management tho!Can we get Lacentia to the Ramsey location like ummm i dont know, maybe once a month for me!!!I will be going back to see her tho but I will be definitely be calling to make sure Terry lady is NOT there when I go. This is NOT a bad company just a terrible location. That lady really gives me anxiety lol. Visited the Skibo location on Saturday 11/4 as an early birthday gift from my husband. The receptionist Chelsea was super friendly and customer service oriented!(she’s the only reason I gave 2stars.) The “therapist” they booked me with was Raven and based on the experience I had it is very apparent why she was the only available person on a Saturday afternoon. She lacked any customer service skills or ability to build rapport, my 6 year old grandson could’ve given a better massage than what I got from this place. This is the first FULL BODY massage I’ve ever gotten where I started and ended on my stomach and was never asked to turn over on my back. The assistant Mgr was nice enough to return my call, to let me know that is not on point for their brand and they would address this with the “therapist”. They gave a few suggestions on other therapists they have they would offer a better experience but I don’t think I’m willing to spend anymore of my hard earned money to risk trying them out. If you book here with “Raven” book at your own risk!!! She is NOT GOOD!!

Went to this one and everything about it was horrible. The services provided, the staff, everything. For those of you who came here and had a bad first experience, it is not a bad company I promise. I switched to the Massage Envy on Ramsay Street and it is a complete 180 from the one on Skibo. The staff is very professional and people know what theyre doing. I would not recommend this specific location. At least from my experience.
I went to Massage Envy on July 31, 2023. I LOVED IT! Victoria did an amazing job.I definitely recommend coming here to relax and relieving stress. This was my first time ever getting a massage, and Victoria made my first experience enjoyable. I cant wait to come back again for my next appointment!Sunday, September 17, 2023I had another appointment with Raven today, and I had her last time in August. I had her for a 90 minute massage this time...oh, man! I loved it!!Definitely recommend a 90 minute massage if possible, and I also recommend Raven.Staff are very courteous.
I was looking forward to my massage. I had recently been in a lot of pain and I’ve gone to several Massage Envy’s in different cities as I am in the Military. They are always so kind and helpful. I thought surely this would be the same. I made my appointment but soon after I realize I needed to reschedule. I called no later than 30 minutes after, I left a message. I did not receive a call back. I called the next day a couple times. I finally got someone on the phone. I asked to reschedule. I explained that I had called several times before. the lady was so rude. She said that she was the manager. She said that she would still charge my card. I told her that she should not charge my card because I called right away and I wanted to reschedule but couldn’t reach anyone, she told me that she was gonna charge my card anyway! She was extremely rude, in an Attempt to get me off the phone she kept repeating” is there anything else I can help you with with a smug tone”. I’ve never been treated like this at any other Massage Envy they normally have the most amazing customer service! ..I never leave reviews but I definitely had to let people know this is not the place to go for the Zin or Peace.
Had a full body massage today with my masseuse Evenny. Whom was very good with them hands. She was also very polite and always had a smile on her face. When the session was over, the pain in my right shoulder had lessened. An the tension that I had on the back of my head was gone. When I arrived home there was some slight discomfort, that had started in my left shoulder. It has been awhile since I have had a message. Im going to soak in some Epsom Salt Water tonight which was recommended. An setup another appointment later to take care of that left shoulder pain. That seemed to have popped up out of nowhere. Just another reason for me to go back. Thank You ME.
My spouse and I thought a couples message would be wonderful to share our limited together time. Unfortunately, since we signed up 5 months ago, weve not received our couples message due to cancellations or rescheduling by Message Envy. It has been a disappointing experience thus far.
I’m not going to vent, I’m not going to rant.Do not go to this establishment. The knots in your muscles are a sweet price to pay for having never experienced visiting Massage Envy. You’ve been warned.
They are pricey. Everytime I go, I feel rushed. It seems like they take more pride in finishing quickly than they do their services. They often leave spots of hair, and when you ask for things they seem to have many rules and increased costs. However, the customer service is good and it’s usually pretty easy to schedule same day appointments.
This place is horrible. The staff cant get any bookings correct. You can tell them time and time again what you want and by the time you come back for it....theres a problem. The masseuses are great. Its just the desk work thats bad. Wont be going back to this one. Its happened so many times Ive lost count. You tell them you want a couples massage and by the time you get there its booked as individual massages. You book a facial online and the day before, theyre calling you about a massage when thats not what you booked.
1st RED🚩When I scheduled my appt. I explained that I was only coming because my Grandson gifted me a $50 gift card after my Mother ‘s recent passing. At that time I wasn’t given any instructions on how the gift card worked but I was asked for a credit card in case of no cancellation given. I was only given the name of the person assigned to me.Upon my arrival for appt. , I was asked what I needed done & I explained again that I had been given a $50 gift card so whatever I could get w/ that I’d have. I was then given a tablet to complete my medical history, no information on services or cost & told my therapist would be w/ me soon. Once again.. Nothing was explained to me about how the gift card worked only an “ok”. 2nd RED 🚩After being taken back by the therapist she AGAIN asks me what I’d like done & again I explained about the gift card, she then said “ok, well you can have anything you want today”. 3rd RED 🚩During check out I was first given the therapist recommendations & what seemed to be pressure into scheduling multiple other visits- I declined. I was abruptly asked how much I’d like to tip the therapist & without any explanation of service costs I was told the total cost of the visit which was $25 over the gift card. When I finally stopped the staff from trying to talk over the questions & explain why it was more than the gift card she then says “ oh, ok all visits start at $75”. So I was basically tricked into spending and additional $25 plus a tip. I paused & asked for a receipt.. they email them instead. They will NEVER see me again ❗️
I was hesitant to return to ME after my last experience at their other location. But this time was pretty good. The staff treated me well, offering advice and opinions for future care without being overwhelming. The session was good, however, I need more than the standard hour and they didnt have availability for that. I will be scheduling a follow up, as deep tissue is hard to do well, and the session was good overall.
This is my 1st time getting a facial here . Emma was a great esthetician and she was very informative and knowledgeable on skin care and she made sure I was very well taken care of and comfortable during my session !

I have been a loyal member with them for several years and I have been trying to get a location transfer done for the last 2 months because we moved to another state. I’ve emailed them the required documents needed to conduct the transfer almost 2 months ago. Called a few times to get a an update. Every time I call I get told only the manager can process the transfer. They fail to reach out to me and now the manager is on vacation. A simple account transfer should not take 2 months. If a customer has reached out multiple time they should should be contacted back.
I arrived to my appointment 10 mins early they left me waiting in the tranquility room for 30 mins passed my appointment time. The lady from the front escorted another customer to the tranquility room when she realizes Ive been waiting for 30 min and she asked what time my appointment was which was 30 mins ago she acted concern so I assumed she was trying to getting taken care of 20 more mins passed by when no attempt was made to give me an update or try to take care of the situation. When I left to the front they were conducting business as usual and stated that I shouldve gotten a called to cancel my appointment. Which also did not happen. If my appointment was cancelled then why was I checked in??? They act like they care but theyre the most unprofessional, worst customer service Ive ever experienced. It deserves less than 1 star but thats not even possible.
I have been a loyal member since 2019, however this past year (2021) has been financially unstable for me. I have not been able to afford massage envy’s monthly fees, and I kept talking to them about my inability to afford these services. They decided to take out a lump sum to pay for the last 3 months I was unable to afford. That money was supposed to be for my necessities and bills, and I’ve been trying to eliminate any luxuries at this time. I tried to ask for that lump sum back, but they stated they are unable to refund, per the terms and agreement. Nowhere does it state that massage envy is allowed to take a lump sum without my consent. I just want my money back, and then I will consider coming back as a member, once I become more financially secure. If massage envy wants to to be difficult for my simple request, then I will not stop until my requests are met. ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT!!! PEOPLE WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO GET YOUR MONEY!!!!
I spoke with Lisa. If that was even her real name at Massage Envy today and I had horrible service. It is safe to say I will never be going to your company ever. I am a new customer and was actually looking into membership but after todays experience I absolutely will take my money else where, and will make sure any friends and family I know do not go to your location either. Lisa was extremely rude to me. I tried to explain my situation as my husband is in the service and is away. He bought me a surprise Valentines present for a massage. I was not going to be able to attend because we have home repairs going on during the same time of the appt.... I tried to reschedule and she told me they were going to charge my husband regardless of me going or not and that she refused to reschedule a time. No one is able to be at the house but me during these repairs since my husband is busy sacrificing his time to keep YOU safe. I am appalled at this customer service experience. Clearly you dont have the customers best interest at heart.
I was 7 min late for my appointment, a 90 min massage, and was told that I needed to fill out a form (which I did - took 2mins) and a restroom break before the massage would leave me with only 65 min for a massage and I would still have to pay for 90 min. The staff was inconsiderate, unprofessional and snarky. After escalating the concern of paying for 90 min when only receiving 60 min of service, 30 min had already passed. The massage therapist talked majority of the time about negative aspects of her life experience (personal domestic violence from an ex, etc). This was not the place or time for that. The massage was decent but the service was not great. Only one person at the front desk was willing to assist with my concern. I won’t be returning to this facility. Not a great experience at all.
I went to this location for the firs time today. Brittini at the front desk was so polite and friendly/outgoing and very helpful. Also, I very much had a great experience getting my massage with Katelyn. She was wonderful from making me feel 100% comfortable in every way. I was so very relaxed when my massage was finished. I highly recommend her and will be going back to her in the near future.
I would give zero stars if I could. The worst management I have ever seen. I will never go back to a Massage Envy again. We cancelled our membership since it was nearly impossible to get in for an appointment during COVID. We were told we had three months to use our credits and could transfer some to family members or friends. We transferred one to a family member and paid the transfer fee. Family member went to book the appointment and was told the credit expired. We called this location on three separate occasions and asked to speak to management to reactivate the credit since we had already paid the fee. Manager was never on shift but was told that the manager would receive the message and fix it. Family member tried to book the appointment again a few weeks later after we were told that management would fix it and it was never fixed. Not only that but it’s incredibly difficult to cancel your membership to begin with. They only care about getting you to sign up, then want to make you jump through hoops to cancel. I will never give this business my money again.
My debit card expired in July. I got a new one like normal and activated it. Apparently ME automated charge for July didnt get through on the old card and they called me for an update. O.k. no problem. After confirming my card number and new expiration date more than 6 times. It go annoying - the staffs response was it wasnt her fault, she was new and she couldnt hear over the voices of everyone else in the office. Glad that was over. Two days later I get a call from a different staff - asking for the same information. I told her I had already provided it, but I gave it again, and had the staff member repeat it back to me again. I called today and made an appointment. Same issue again - my account isnt updated. Mined you - its just a change in expiration date. I go in for my appointment and am asked if I want to swipe my card to update my account because it is suspended. No, I do NOT want to swipe my card! I want to know why I have given my debit card more than a dozen times to the staff, had them repeat it back and it still not updated. The manager comes out, confirms my updated information and asks me if I want to swipe my card to update my account. Havent you heard me? No - I want you to explain how you can have my updated information and look me in the eye and tell me its not updated. She told me I could have a nice day since I wasnt going to be keeping my appointment. So glad....you invited me to leave Miss manager. You need to think about apologizing for YOUR attitude and poor performance of your staff. You dont deserve the star I gave you.
I have had massages before in other location in Fayetteville, I was impressed with how quickly they could get me in and Jan was amazing. After the massage she discussed my problem areas with me and she was on point as I already knew what they were, after month of crazy stress I feel so much better. Brittini was the young lady at the front desk and she was very helpful and had lots of good information. She was able to answer all my questions. I will definitely be going back.
I really enjoy going to massage envy. i didnt know regular massage therapy would help so much with my daily routine and my health but the therapists there are amazing. Every time i come in i am always greeted with smiling faces and given hot tea with honey which i love. The membership is definitely worth it. They gave me a half hour upgrade for my birthday too which i thought was cool. Id recommend this place for sure.
BE WARNED. Horrible business practices as far as access to what I already paid for. They will hold your credits hostage or try to charge you MORE to use what you already paid for. Unwilling to work out an agreement. As mentioned in another review, Thomas is no help. I would think a business based on service would put customers first, NOT Massage Envy. Therapists are fantastic! Jan, Katrina, Royce, Kawanna, Phyllis, Lacentia, Christina! But Thomas the manager is by far the worst this location has had, and that is saying a lot since they go through them like sunrise and sunset. Not knowledgeable, rude, never calls back when he says, money hungry. It’s sad. Ramsey manager is super. She always gets it done. Just ask the therapists if they do their own sessions outside!
I arrived.. they took me to the back to a dark room. The receptionist said the masseuse wasnt ready so the receptionist took me back to the front. When the masseuse came in she asked what pressure I wanted, I said firm but no too hard because of the back pain I was having ( which is why I went in ). She told me to lay face down and she left the room.. Before the door closed I started to ask how much I should undress but she closed the door and left. I then stepped out the room, she was gone.. I asked another employee walking down the hall and she told me. The massage was so PAINFUL. I woke up the next day with my back hurting even more. It defiantly felt like a deep tissue which I let her know I didnt want. Im sure there are some good massage therapist there..unfortunately I do not know their names. Also when I went to the front to pay the receptionist was very unorganized. she claimed to have recommendations from the massage therapist but then said she didnt know why it wasnt in the computer and said never mind. I highly doubt ill return. Getting a massage is supposed to be a relaxing and seamless experience and this was everything but that.
Yesterday I had a massage with Casey. She worked all of my focus areas with great skill and expertise. She even found things I was not yet aware of. She is nothing short of amazing! And the front desk was not rude at all. They were polite and accommodating. Love my massages here. See you in 2 weeks Casey!
Came in for my prenatal visit and it was a great experience. very welcoming when you come in to when you leave. Although the service was great the after math for my body the next day was achy no fault to anyone but myself for being super pregnant. Its just my body hasnt been adjusted to being so taken care of. Will return once baby is born.
Yesterday , was my first time visiting Massage Evny in Fayetteville , NC . I was unhappy with my first visit and will not make any more appointments for massages , maybe a facial. After , arriving 15 minutes as asked I was informed that Sterling was running a little behind but not to worry I would still receive my full time. I was seen at about 4:15 and still finished at the time I was suppose to. I also paid for the $10 extra for the machine for the first ten minutes. He used the machine the whole time and barley touched me . I feel completely cheated.
Called on Thursday and got in for an introductory appointment on Saturday. Jo, the receptionist, was AMAZING! She checked me in and out and was extremely professional and awesome! I went ahead and became a member because the massage was so tranquil and relaxing. I can’t wait for my next appointment!
I was unsure about the type of service I was going to receive and didn’t want to give my card information because of the bad review below but decided to try anyway because my friends personally use this spa.The front desk receptionist was very nice and explained to me everything that I needed to know including the last minute cancellation policy which can result in a charge for a late cancellation. This policy is the exact same at a nearby spa facility so I’m annoyed that the previous reviewer made it out to seem like something out of the ordinary instead of a standard industry practice.The service was great and although I didn’t sign up for a membership ( my acccount isn’t setup for that kind of lifestyle ), I will recommend this facility to others and the front desk receptionist was named Lisa too so your experience will vary based on your listening skills.
Jessica at the front desk was very accommodating. The people in the room next to us were a bit noisy which lead to not being very relaxing. Jessica quickly apologized and gave me a free 1/2 hour upgrade. Happy customer! Amanda is my massage therapist and she is amazing! For me it is hard to find one that knows exactly what I need! My other girl left a few months ago and I am glad because Amanda is A+++!
I scheduled a couples appointment with my husband for our anniversary, I asked for a prenatal for myself (because Im pregnant) and a deep tissue for my husband. 8 specified I wanted my hips focused on with both the person on the phone during scheduling, and again during the pre massage questions on the tablet. After arriving we filled out a form asking a series of health questions and things massage related, two questions asking if I was pregnant, both I expressed that I was. The massage was great! It felt great, I got a little uncomfortable with my belly but for the most part was great. However at the end she had said ot was great to focus on my hips because they were tight and I told her that the reason was because the baby is sitting basically right on my hips, then a look of complete horror washed over her face and she told me she had no idea that I was pregnant. Although the massage was good, the communication here was awful, I had scheduled a prenatal massage and the masseuse had no idea. It makes me wonder if it would have been a little more comfortable or if the massage would have been different if people had communicated and given me the massage I scheduled for, it seemed strange to be asked multiple times and no one does anything with the information they are asking for. My husband however, really enjoyed his massage and received the deep tissue he scheduled and he said hes never felt so good.
Samantha Tice “Member Concierge” (what a joke) is unprofessional. If you sign up for a membership please tell them to shut up so you can read all terms and conditions. I went in to cancel my membership, was offered to place membership on freeze for that date 3-19-19 the girl (Lisa) told me that I would have account frozen for 3 months. I get a email from this Sam chick that it will freeze after my payment comes out which was not said yesterday when I went in there. Lisa said that it would be started on 3/19/19. Sam showed no remorse didn’t apologize for the miscommunication or anything. Made it seem as though I didn’t read the terms and it was my fault. I will be reporting this everywhere including BBB. Go elsewhere for massages. She needs a new job and she is supposed to be the supervisor.
Treating my wife to some relaxation here was a mistake, despite reading some of the bad reviews. next time I will take these reviews much more seriously. First off my after I dropped my wife off I asked how what time I should be back and they said it will only be an hour. Now I payed for a 1 hour facial and 1 1/2 hour massage... They forgot so the lady at the desk said she could fix it as if she was doing me a favor but it was fixed so ok no harm no foul I left and a while later I got a text from my wife that she has been waiting a long time because they forgot the massage...for the second time... Im already feeling dissatisfied but as long as it gets done no big deal I thought. After I pick up my wife I can tell she seems more stressed than before she went in. She says her Massage therapist was very pleasant and skilled in helping her to relax and feel good but the rest of the experience was far from good. The facial specialist lady seemed to be non-existent most of the time and afterwards like nothing was done for her skin. She was also made to feel as if she was being lectured by her due to bad instructions. The main issue was how rude the front desk staff acted after the appointment. Apparently if you dont give in to pressure to buy the products or membership they turn in to high school bullies employing the age old tactics of talking about you just loud enough so you can hear what is being said and giving off putting looks at you while you wait for your ride. My advice if you dont want to deal with immaturity and get some relaxation for a special someone avoid this place find a friendly environment because this was $170 wasted whatever stress was relieved by the massage was brought back doubled.
First time coming and very pleased. Called on a Thursday afternoon and got in the next day. The gentleman was very nice on the phone with scheduling. Facility was nice and clean. Everyone was nice all around and great massage. No complaints here! Already scheduled my next one.
It took me a few times here to find a massage therapist that best fit my needs,but now I see neesha every month and she’s awesome! I’ve been coming to this location for almost a year and have never felt pressured to sign a contract (I’m month to month after my 6 month contract ended) like I have at other wellness chains. I love the professional environment here and appreciate my appointment starting on time every time.
This was the highlight of my week! Form the second I walked in I was greeted with friendly staff who were warm and welcoming. They walked me thru the process of getting set up for my first time and were very helpful! I loved how during my massage and facial they walked me through every step and made me feel at ease. I will most definitely be coming back!
Simply put this staff has a great amount of professionalism. the masuses are are well qualified and educated on how to gone information to improve your well-being.I have never been disappointed from any massage that Ive ever received here. The environment of this building is calming as soon as you walk into the door and through out the whole facility.
My second massage with Massage Envy was honestly not relaxing at all. I had Kim 🙄. The whole time she talked and talked and talked about relationships and how easy her other massaging job is.. i even paid $10 extra dollars for a machine that she used for a hour at the least instead of ten minutes as promised. She Had the nerve to slip me her number after the massage as if she was gonna get me to get more business from me after of that bull.. she talked so much she went over the 90 minute massage without touch my lower back at all.. i asked for the best Masseuse and i got Oprahs wannabe. honestly think i deserve my time back for the 60 dollars i spend every month to receive the poor massage ive ever had but ill just cancel my membership. if your store ever picks up the phone. if they offer u kim hang up.
The staff is always very friendly. I do recommend finding one therapist that you like and going back to them so that they understand your history. This will give you a better experience. I have never had a problem with booking any appointments when I give them adequate time to accommodate.
Everyone at Massage Envy were professional and courteous. A great experience for my husband and myself. My husband was very anxious about getting a massage and everyone was supportive and encouraging which made his experience a positive one. He now wants to go back and get more massages!!
Ive just looked over the reviews for this place and am surprised. Im not sure if Im just lucky or what, but whenever Ive called for an appointment, I can get one that week, sometimes as soon as the very next day. Typically, the massage therapists are a few minutes late, but they end up running over in time to make up for it, and they actually listen to me (I prefer deep tissue massages, and I have been to places that think that I dont know what Im talking about, and I would get tired of telling them and end up having a negative experience, but this place listens to me and checks in with me to make sure that they are applying the right amount of pressure). I have never had the staff pressure me to buy products, and I always have courteous phone calls reminding me of my scheduled appointments. I would recommend this place to others. Im hoping the negative reviews are just reflective of people who are no longer employed there.
This was my first massage. I enjoyed the experience very much. Jessica was very friendly when we arrived. And Thersa did a wonderful job. I signed up for a membership and look forward to experiencing their other services.

I appreciated that Federica gave me an introductory rate which I was gonna ask about but I didn’t even have to - she brought it up before I could ask which was wonderful. Thank you!!
You never get the time you pay for. If you get there 15 minutes early, the masseuse are still 5 to 10 minutes late. And even after starting your massage late, they always finish 10 minutes early. If you pay for a 1 hour massage, you will be LUCKY to get 40 minutes. Some of the masseuse are decent, but overall Id recommend taking your money elsewhere.
Three weeks ago I called and spoke with a staff member about scheduling a facial for my 14 year old. I was told that he could be scheduled but that I would need to stay since he is a minor. I was fine with that, so she set up the appointment. Then she came back on the line to tell me that the appointment needed to be rescheduled because of his skin care regimen. He would need to discontinue his cream for 7 days before his appointment. We rescheduled, and he discontinued the cream.The day before his appointment, I spoke with another staff member confirming the appointment, and the length of the appointment. I explained that I was double checking the time since he was a minor and I would be sitting in the waiting room. The staff member confirmed everything for the appointment.I took my son to his appointment this morning. While filling out his paperwork, I was told that I would have to sit in the actual treatment room with him, not the lobby, while he was receiving his facial treatment. This piece of information would have proven useful BEFORE the appointment since my 2 younger daughters were with us. Obviously all 4 of us couldnt go back to the treatment room, and the girls could not be left in the lobby alone, so I was forced to reschedule. Fortunately I was able to find a sitter quickly and reschedule for later in the day.Four hours later, my son and I returned at the new appointment time. We were taken back to the relaxation room to wait for the esthetician. A few minutes later, the esthetician and another staff member came to talk to us. The esthetician tells me that I should have been called and that she was sorry that I came back twice in one day. She said that he shouldve discontinued his acne cream 2 weeks ago, even though the staff member who made the original appointment said 7 days. Then she went on to say that he would need a release from a dermatologist before they could see him. 1) He is not under the care of a dermatologist and never has been, and 2) He uses an over the counter acne cream.I am shocked and appalled at the lack of knowledge and staff training they have, not to mention the lack of communication the staff has internally. I cant even rate the actual services they provide, because we never made it that far. The front line service was bad enough. I will never go back, and I will shout from the roof tops if anyone mentions the name. I have been robbed of my time and inconvenienced on a level that does not make this establishment anything to envy.
I have been to other massage envys in Colorado, this has been my best experience so far. Front desk Jo was very positive and helpful and not a pushy sales person like i have recieved in the past at a different location. My therapist Charlott was amazing, she had me snoozing 10 minutes into my session. Thank you very much!
I had a massage (Sue) and facial (Natalia) and they were both top notch! I have had numerous spa treatments at other locations and other spas and these ladies were among the best. Customer service when scheduling was courteous and accommodating. Highly recommend! C. Waters
The customer service is this place is a major disappointment. I am a member in Pinehurst and gave my daughters a massage from my membership. When I called to schedule the appointments in this store, I was told that I could get an appointment but my daughters could not because they were JUST guests. The appointments they had available were for members only and guests could not use them. I spoke to the manager Alex, who was just as rude with no customer service skills. Im sorry, but I thought in order to become a member, you had to be able to schedule an appointment, use the facilities and then decide if you wanted to become a member. I would NEVER recommend this store to anyone!!!!
So my wife book what was suppose to be a 30 min massage. But, it ended up being 20 mins and i felt like the area i emphasizes on weren’t really worked on. For 10 mins she worked on my upper back it wasn’t until it was 10 mins left when i asked would you be able to hit the other areas i had typed on the screen. So after that horrible experience, i went to check out and they asked me would i would like to book another one for $115. I told I’ll buy the machine myself. It’s wasn’t worth me spending that much money on this again.
The place looks old. I expected more from this place. My massage was okay. The massage therapist actually hurt me during my massage. I didnt like how they kept pushing for us to buy a membership. I felt it was informative, but unprofessional of Massage Envy.
Was there today 12/26/15My very first facial/body massage here in the US & it wasnt pleasant at all! Its an expensive gift from my thoughtful & loving husband that trusted them to do it for me... But they just made our experience horrible. He purchased a 90 minute massage and 1 hour facial. When we got there the front desk lady told my husband to return in 1 hour that its only a facial but my husband told them he payed for facial/body massage, so they fixed it but then when the facial therapist doing my facial shes telling me that they forgot my body massage, thats so unprofessional after my husband talked to them then they still forgot it? So my facial therapist from my experience is not that nice at all, she told me to take off my clothes with the level Im comfortable & go underneath the blanket and left with out letting me ask any questions. There were too many blankets, so I just took one blanket & lay down, shes not good giving an instruction of what do I need to do specially its my very first time over there so i just did what I think is ok to do, but when shes starting doing my facial she told me oh & you didnt go to the very last blanket so you just contaminated the cover, I was a little shock when she said that but then I just go with it & told her oh Im sorry i didnt know & she said its ok Im about to change it anyway, then I told her I thought it should be changing the whole thing each after customer, but then she just told me a bunch of excuses then just agree to me at the end. It was supposed to be 1 hour but she was in and out the whole time and felt like 15 minutes. My face doesnt feel like anything was done to it. The one star will go only to my massage therapist that is very nice & sweet her name is SUE NERIA, she is very professional and skilled. After I felt a little better with her massage but it went back to bad because the front desk ladies were being very rude, they me to join the membership & buy some of their items that they said its good for my skin, though their prolly good you cant just say yes with the price. & then I noticed them they are started getting upset with me & acting like a bunch of bullies acting while Im waiting in the lobby talking about me just loud enough so i can hear them and giving me tons of attitude. Im not giving them more business, I mean if my experience is good why not. But i will never go back, hope you learn from me and dont waste your money and try another business or make your spouse do the massage!
The worst massage I’ve ever had. It didn’t feel good and it was rushed. I waited 10-15 minutes after my scheduled appt for me to be called to the back to a room.
So, I was informed that my normal esthetician was no longer with Massage Envy and I became a bit bleh! I tried an employee recommended by the manager, but it was not my best experience. As a matter of fact, it has been since March 5th since Ive been. (Im a member). The lady was very sweet, but the facial was a bit messy. Im really big on relaxation and it was almost the opposite. There was water dripping down my neck to where a small puddle was beside my head. Some of the product got into my eye (Thank God it wasnt a chemical peel that time), and I was honestly just over it. Anyways, I know my skin needed attention, so I decided to go back this week. This time I received a young lady by the name of Nichole. Okay, she definitely, well almost, made up for the last facial (Only time will make up for that). She is honestly amazing. Im looking forward to further treatments with her. I love Massage Envy still, and the variety of help you receive. There is honestly someone for everyone.
My back and shoulders were really tense. My masseuse took time to hit all the trouble spots. The total body massage was great. When I got up my body felt so relaxed I couldnt get my legs to move. 🙂Thanks
Bryant is the best deep tissue massage therapist I have come across after visiting few other Massage Envys. The staff there is warm, professional and very accommodating. Regular massage therapy has been very helpful with my arthritic pain. Later hours during the week would be very advantageous to the company.
Over looked that when my credit card expired on their files the canceled my membership without notifying me and I lost mine and my 24 unused messages horrible unprofessional management I recommend never join this company I paid for messages I never received. Hello have ever heard of email or mail notification total rip off I was a member for over 3 years and to honest the turn over is really bad you never know if you going to get a good message and it is hard to get appointments most of the time and this is the case in all locations.
I went to massage envy yesterday. But was highly disappointed. Recently Ive been going to Bella Trio in Durham. They probably cost 15 more than Massage Envy, however, it is SO worth it. You get an opportunity to relax in their steam room before or after your massage, you get wine, the atmosphere is perfect. The massage is so relaxing, that you may fall asleep. It is the best!So anyway, yesterday I went to the Massage envy in Fayetteville since I bought my friend a Gift card for her birthday- I had the worst experience ever. My therapist- AMANDA looked zoned out. I had to keep telling her thats too much or thats uncomfortable. She had a slightly sharp finger nail that I felt as she was going up and down my spine. Then she kept sniffing in my ear. I was in the same room as my friend, and didnt want to disturb her massage since she was enjoying hers with Beverly. If I wasnt in the same room with my friend, I wouldve got up or requested another therapist but I didnt. I would never go back to this location, since I live in another city, I will continue to go to Bella Trio. Needless to say, if I decide to get more Gift cards for my friends- it will definitely be at Bella Trio. If anyone decides to go to Fayetteville - massage envy- do not let Amanda work on you. When I was telling the receptionist (who was very polite) she went to get her manager. The manager told me that she will note my account so that the next time I come, I can get the massage at the introductory price. LOL. No thank you because I will never go back there again.DO BETTER FAYETTEVILLE MASSAGE ENVY!
I had the best massage! I have went to many massage therapist, but Sterling was the best. He was very professional, listened to what my problem were, and had the perfect pressure. I was so satisfied, I joined massage envy right after.
I think its all in your masseuse. I ask for Shawna every time and she is amazing. I had someone last week who was not very good, though (left feeling worse than I did when I went in), because there was a scheduling mix-up, but the staff is always very accommodating and pleasant.
I am a massage therapist in training. I graduate from massage school next week and I had to get a massage so I could write a paper on it. I had Ms. Hazel and she was amazing! I have been a horse trainer for over 20 years so I had a lot of issues and she worked her magic and was able to reduce my pain level to almost none at all and my range of motion greatly improved as well. She is awesome and really knows her stuff. I will be seeing her again!

Nothing! Today was my 2nd time trying to get an appointment scheduled and the person who answered the phone said the earliest they can get me in is Sunday! The last time my husband tried to surprise me with a massage they took a message and called me back and I had no clue why they were calling but then said we cant get you in until 3 days later. Disappointed to say the least. They asked if it was my first time and I said yes, so clearly they dont care about first impressions.
Super friendly staff. My therapist was really nice and attentive. I made another appointment.The stretch therapy whatever is hot garbage though. If you NEED someone to stretch you I understand but any able bodied person it’s an easy no thanks.
Two months into my membership they used my account information to try to sell memberships to my friends. I wrote an email requesting to cancel my account. I told them I didnt feel confortable with how they were using my personal information and asked them to remove my credit card from the computer system. After being told that they would not take my card out of the system or send me a monthly invoice I sent a second request to cancel the account to which I received no reply. They are now telling me, over a year later that I will need to pay additional months fee and submit a special form and additional written request to cancel the account. Since I now have almost a year worth of services I have not used, I asked to give one to a friend. After being told that was no problem (for an additional $10 fee) she was denied to use the service. The explination was her name was spelled wrong in their computer . I called to verify the name was correct and was told a second time it was all set. The following day, after using the service she was forced to pay for the service out of pocket.I do not recommend memberships or giving them your personal information!
I got a massage from Casey today and Resheeda last week and have had other therapist as well. They all were great and I have enjoyed every experience there from the arrival to departure. I strongly recommend going to ME Fayettevile to feel like a brand new person.
Edith and Samantha did our couples massage; as always amazing. My husband has had a membership for over two years at this location and it is his way of treating himself. Especially after a work out, training, etc. Terry is always a doll, too!

Terrible. The people on the phone are always very rude and its extremely difficult to get a massage less than a month in advance. When asked about different availabilities, they become clearly irritated. This is not a one time thing and has happened on multiple occasions.Go to the one in Pinehurst! I promise its worth the hour drive.
We tried to make an appointment here being new to the area. They called the day before and reminded us of the appointment, then called the day of 4 hours early saying we were late and they were charging us for the appointment. Um no. No you’re not. The appointment was at 4, it’s noon. Horrible first impression. We will make the drive to start fresh somewhere else.
Edith was absolutely perfect, I am a member with Massage Envy and this is the third time I have been in. Edith by far gave me the best massage I have ever had and will be using her from now on. I have yet to have any bad experiences from this location and highly recommend them

My therapist Lacentia is a GOD send.I pulled or strained something in my back from improperly lifting weights, couldn’t walk properly due to pain.I left walking with ease. It was worth it for the result of working those sore and stiff muscles.I am walking without a hobble and my back NO longer hurts.10/10 will come back again and again and again. SHE HAS MAGIC HANDS.

I am a Massage Envy member at this location. This past weekend I was traveling with my mom and to relax I took my mom to the Massage Envy in Williamsburg, VA for her very first massage ever. What a mistake, I should have waited for the opportunity to take her to the Massage Envy in Fayetteville. My experience in Williamsburg was ok, just ok. I am looking forward to seeing Hazel this week to work out all the sore spots that should have been addressed this weekend.
The owner is Steve Green, and he doesnt know what hes doesnt from a hole in the wall. A hole in the wall is ore useful than him. if you have any questions, please ask me. I will tell you everything about this company.This company and the owner are a complete and serious joke through and through. They have no idea what they are doing and that will be their downfall, through and through.Look at all these negative reviews. You think the owner would come to his senses, but no. Time to wake up.
I asked for a deep tissue massage but instead was lathered in oil and none of my issues were addressed. I wish I over slept & missed my appointment. I was told I would have Hazel but got Shawna instead and that was a nightmare
As I sit here writing this review in disgust due to miscommunication...the manager came in and apologized for the miscommunication and other issues I had faced. He explained there have been some turn overs and challenges the store has faced. He LISTENED then offered a free service. THATS SERVICE! I can respect and appreciate a ⁹business that sees its fault and tries to rectify it.

Great establishment if youre looking for a good massage with none of the frills youd get at a day spa. Prices are reasonable and the massage therapists Ive seen are great, especially Kawanna. Definitely recommend!
Do not purchase an online gift card from this company, I received a corrupted file and they have no way of sending a new one. they will just refer you to the website and an email that will not work either. just wasted $75, and they claim to not have a number to anyone to call to talk to about resolving the issue.

If I could give less than 1 I would I recently had a facial done on Valentines Day as a gift and it was the worst decision ever other than great service from the representatives I had a facial done not to shortly after that my skin is so irritated it started to hyperpigmentation and now I have to see a dermatologist to try and correct damage done never again will I go to massage envy again
