In my opinion the entire experience couldve rated better. I ordered food it was the wrong order instead of the waitress fixing it she just smiled said oh and walked away. The food given was not cooked completely. The singer was amazing Mike can sing to me any day .... The drink selection however was subpar having no top shelf alcohol and limited seating leaves me in a position to not return to this establishment.

Please keep the live music Marley’s band on the weekend you have a good thing going and the food is awesome,drama free vibe this is the place I’ve been looking for to step out without the extracurriculars .

I will start off with the good. The band was amazing, that girl can SANG. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the adult crowd. Now for the not so good. I ordered a drink and some spinach dip while at the bar and no one was sitting in the 4 chairs next to me. I received my drink in a good amount of time but not my food. The 4 chairs next to me are filled and they ordered and received their food and drinks before me, I was not happy and that was not a good look. Im not sure ifour waitress didnt put the order in but it wasnt cool seeing people come in after you receive their food before you. However, I do believe in second chances and because of the vibe overall, Im willing to go back.

I cant believe I havent been here before! The fact they survived through COVID just 2 months after opening the business (insane) but this place is pretty awesome. I stopped after work, hangry as all get out, because I saw a post on Fayetteville Foodies that touted Marleys. So I decided to eat there. The atmosphere immediately drew my attention. Comfy furniture, chill decor, not overdone. (I didnt think to take pictures). Then Alex, the sultry bombshell behind the bar with awesome ink, welcomed me with open arms. Her personality made me want to hang out and I ordered a drink. An Old Fashioned, not the best in the world, certainly not better than mine, 😉... But it was good and her fun and friendly character made it much more palatable. I perused the menu, found my mind wandering to the pictures I had seen online, and I couldnt decide. So I asked Alex what she liked. She wasnt very specific, in fact, she likes practically everything on the menu! 😂 But I decided on the Marleys pasta, which was awesome! Beef Sausage, Red onions, peppers. Sautéed in an asiago alfredo sauce. Served over penne pasta, with garlic bread. (Although, I received no garlic bread, but I wasnt even paying attention). It was delicious. And not just because I was HANGRY... If you like bland, boring food, DO NOT COME TO MARLEYS! This place is for Foodies! And the owner, Marley, himself, 😉 was engaging and gregarious. A med ret Veteran who served in the United States Air Force. Thank you for your service. And thank you for this vibing place to relax and have delicious food, good drinks, (get that smoker and were on!) and great company! I hope yall dont get sick of me! 😉 💕 Thank you, and God bless.

This post will cause a disturbance but honestly my Give a damn is busted! Marleys Lounge and Cafe is a local business. This business, due to its cleanliness and owners’ business ethics, morals, and values should not be supported!!! Mr. Donovan allows appliances to break or not work properly because he does not care to fix them. For example, the hot water heater is broken for over 6 months. Not only a severe health code violation but also compromised every customer that ate at his establishment. It is fixed; however, this speaks to his morals.The roach and bug problems are also other issues that go unfixed and overlooked. He does not choose to have the proper chemicals to fix the issue or hire outside companies to address the issue! The cleanliness of the kitchen is severely lacking!!!Yes, this post comes from anger. Anger because this employer owes me over $1000 in unpaid wages. This is the type of action from a small business owner that should not be overlooked. Mr. Donovan has many complaints from previous employees who were not paid. I am one of few. That is why I felt this post was necessary. This speaks to his business ethics!I am sure my character, workmanship, and other habits will be addressed and that is ok. This post is absolute truth and the things I left out are because they can be used against me and take away from the more important issues that need to be addressed!Marleys Lounge and Cafe could have the potential, but the reality is overpriced, bad service, and poor ownership!!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would but they dont have that option where can I start first they went up on the price to reserve a table and the person that reserved the table usually is covered by the price of the table but they made us pay the cover price anyway then we had to find our own table sat there for 30 minutes and was never served we asked someone walking by and was told we had to go to the bar if we wanted to order ordered food and they went up on all the prices 18.99 for a 8 piece wing when we use to pay that price for a 12 piece and the food is not as good as it used to be plus we ordered more food and didnt even get it they have no more servers the food definitely dont look like the pics so please dont be fooled meanwhile they sit people at the table next to us and go to them immediately and ask them if they would like to place a order then proceed to take their order oh did I mention it was the same guy that sent us to the bar as a regular the service has gone way down this was our place girls night not any more Im so disappointed on the way this place has gone downhill it took me a lot to write this because at one point I really loved this place

I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of fried cauliflower. I didn’t get the cauliflower and they did not refund me for that item. The grits looked delicious but lacked any flavor. The shrimp and sauce was great though but the grits themselves tasted like water.

Vibe was definitely nice. Will be going back to try the food.

Me & hubby visited on a Tuesday evening (thinking we were on time for karaoke 🎤, but unfortunately it starts @ 10 pm😔)...service was an 8/10 (had to hunt our server down twice)...but the food was an 11/10 😋...I had garlic parm wings & hubby had fried ribs w/a freshly made salad (his food is not pictured).

I had been wanting to visit Marleys for awhile as Im intentional about spending money with my own. My mother arrived on Saturday 11/4/23 around 8pm and it was not crowded. A total of 8 people and two of those were my mother and I. It was way too dark in there. We like to see what we are eating. They had one person who worked the bar, took the orders and served the food. Thank goodness is was slow. We watched one guy who had to go to the bar each time he wanted a drink. I waited 15 minutes for a bottle of water due to being short staff. I ordered the 8 piece wing, half and half dry lemon pepper and wet hot honey. All my wings were hot honey and the server said the cook forgot to do half and half and states the cook said he can put lemon pepper on top of my hot honey. I declined of course because what????? My chicken was not hot at all. I do not like cold food unless its supposed to be. My mother order fried ribs and they were not seasoned and they were cold. We did not eat all of our food we asked for a to go box which was the best thing they had. We had to go home and and use the air fryer and season our food. Then.....they charged 12% for weekend service. Really??? For what??? Do better. I was expecting so much from this place and had even recommended people based off their site and even after reading reviews that were split. Big disappointment. Will never be back.The seating at the tables are so low. I hurt my back from being hunched over and my mother is not even 5ft and her feet was touching the floor and the center of table.

I am a regular on Thursday night, for the Latin dance. Last week I was over charge 28$ on stuff I did not order. Yes, my mistake for not double checking my receipt over there. I just pay and left, but later I keep thinking how I spend so much and looking my bill i realized I was charge for something called Day party and a corona. I wrote them and send the copy of the receipt and don’t even got a reply, the least I expected was an apology. The amount is not important is the attitude. I expected better from them. But rest assured I will never allow you to touch my debit card again.

On vacation, not from the area. Its been many years since I had this much fun. I came to hear the band my family said she has great reviews and I couldnt agree more. Loved her! In my opinion she has her own unique style with a touch of Fantasia as far as her vocals. Overall, when I travel back to North Carolina I will go back to see her ...

First time at Marley’s and I must say we had a great time. The service was excellent and quick. Drinks were good, but the wine selection was limited due to some wines being unavailable. Food was very good. DJ was excellent and the band was very good. Off course the DJ & Band were loud but it should be expected for a place of that size. Overall it was a outstanding place to go for music and drinks with good food. VIP section is a must to reserve. We enjoyed ourselves completely and will be back!

I attempted to come here on a Saturday night. Came in was greeted well. But the security said $10.00 I repeated and looked in the establishment and he copped an attitude telling me like I suppose to know. It’s $10.00 every Saturday. Well I said I just moved here how tf was I suppose to know? I walked cleaned I hate when somebody piss me off before I step into the place.

Not enough seating. The seating is not for tall people.the comedy show was ok. The bar stools made me feel like I was sliding out the chair. Little changes and this could be a great spot

A great lounge with good food and an awesome atmosphere! While there is a dress code this helps to enhance the atmosphere. Very relaxed and great music.

Enjoyed dinner on Friday May 26 2023. The food was beyond amazing. Our appetizers and entrees were made to order, fresh, and flavorful. My favorite was the spinach and artichoke dip and beef quesadilla. I will be telling everyone about the great food and service. My besties and I will definitely be back.

Good vibes, food, music, and performances 🔥🇻🇮. I enjoyed a girls night out and the band was amazing. Our server was on point, so were the teriyaki wings, and the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had 🙌🏾

I have been to Marleys plenty of times , I even celebrated my birthday there in April and it was a great time. However this past Saturday night me and my husband was there sitting at the bar having a couple of drinks and suddenly my husband notices a roach crawling on and in between the glasses. I absolutely could not eat or drink afterwards. Please exterminate, one of the bar mates tried to kill it but was just as afraid and freaked out so she had to call security over. My first bad experience there .

The atmosphere was nice a bit small however that was a plus, because your able to see more and control an outcome. The food was subpar my beef ribs were over cooked and dry with no flavor. The spinach dip seem to have a bit more cheese then I like but was good but the vegetable quesodilla save the night. Also security needs to be more on his job and not sitting talking to the staff.

I went here for my birthday and this place was absolutely amazing. The server Jay had very good customer service. Me and my husband thought she was the manager and didnt learn until we were about to leave that she was actually one of the new employees

I would have to give this place five stars based off of the environment, Staff is super friendly the live music was absolutely phenomenal. I was there last night and that band was just absolutely phenomenal. The drink options and the food options were very good as well

I went last night for the first time. I received the best service there. Very nice atmosphere, no tension whatsoever, everyone was very nice, no drama! The staff gave me the utmost respect. And I definitely will be going back and bringing my friends!

Ghetto establishment, allows employees to smoke around the food in the back. Doesn’t pay employee if they quit. Very dirty kitchen area. Roaches everywhere. Do not support this business.

A girl told me to meet her there and come as i was. I came with sweatpants and they wouldnt let me in. Or give me ketchup. Never thought someone would fool me like that. Ill never be back. Its ridiculous they discriminate against clothing. Eminem wears sweatpants. Would you not serve eminem? Ridiculous

This place is awesome. Its different than most places around Fayetteville which is refreshing. The food was perfect and they gave me several different smoothies to try while I enjoyed my meal. The staff is very friendly and professional. Met the owner and he is a good guy. Military man looking to start his next chapter. Very clean and comfortable setting all around. I will def be back and everyone should check this place out for yourselves.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Greeted by the SMELL of SEWAGE. Got there early before the hostess even arrived and was standing at the bar saying HELLO. I was charged $10 RSVP and the place was empty so ASKED FOR A REFUND. They looked at their watches to see if I was more than 30 minutes past the reservation which I was not, so they could say I defaulted the $10. Then they called the Manager and they said NO REFUNDS. This place is unsanitary and should not be serving food. I never seen a place purposely SCAM customers out of reservation fees. WE JUST LEFT.

Really nice and relaxing bar lounge. Live band and Karoke night. The dress code sets the tone for a positive atmosphere. The food and drinks just makes it a even better place to host parties and gatherings.

Tasteless, tactless, and poor service!If I could give negative stars, I would!First, there is an 18% automatic gratuity on purchases over $20…I hate it here already but I needed food and a drink. I ordered ranch wings. All drums came out! I’m a flats person but my man was going to share so I didn’t order all flats. I immediately brought this to the waitresses attention and she said that she would look into how to fix it. Some guy comes over and says “I hear you have a problem.?.?” No introduction! Neither did he help. I explained that I didn’t know that I was going to get all drums and that I would like to get a mix. He still said no. So I asked for a refund and he tells me that all sales are final. So much more to say but I’ll just say, it’s a no for me!

The decor is so nice and wonderful vibe for a lounge in Fayetteville. Friends and family Sundays is my favorite but any day is great. The staff are beyond nice. So if youre looking for a grown and sexy lounge Marleys is the spot.

My second time in 2 weeks attending and I absolutely love the atmosphere, adult setting, the service, the food and the staff! The GM & the rest of the team are so professional & friendly. The food is amazing, great prices, plus the portion of small plates are reasonable.

I visited Marley’s for the first time this morning 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff members are very friendly. Our waitress made me a ice coffee that was better then Starbucks. The food is to die for here. The portion are very large. I can’t wait to visit this establishment again.

Ive been in n.c for a year. This is the 1st place Ive actually had fun. Good music, vibes, and drinks. I didnt try the food but everyone seemed to enjoy theirs. The thg had a live band that kept the crowd going. They even gave me a taste of DMV with a lil gogo mixed in. Im def gonna go on another featured night. Maybe karaoke.

I had brunch there on Sunday & the staff and owner were all so accommodating and kind. The hostess went completely out of her way for our group and the food was amazing! I absolutely loved everything including the decor which is ideal for pictures!

I visited Marleys with my family for the first time last week. When I first walked in I was surprised because theres not many places in Fayetteville that make me feel like Im in a big city. The staff was awesome but this review is about the Salmon and cream cheese bagel. OMG it was so good I came back the next day for another. Youll be surprised at how well all the flavors worked together. This sandwich along with the great atmosphere will definitely guarantee my return.

Great chill spot! Caught a late lunch and wasnt disappointed!! 3 of us had burgers they were on point hats off to the chef! Later in the eaving the place becomes an adult lounge with an adult dress code one of the few places in Fayetteville! Will continue to frequent especially because they serve breakfast!

I feel bad doing this well not really lol but I just went there Sat for the all white social because my family Royale was singing. But this is the second time Ive been and the bartenders are terrible. Im 66 and Im just literally standing there when no one else is ordering drinks. Nearly 10 mins, the first time I went, there were having bartending issues it had taken so long an older guy felt bad for me and ordered the drink for me after 20 mins. I stay supporting black businesses but ill never return. Sorry not sorry.Respectfully

This is a hidden gem 💎. Very upscale vibe almost feels like you are in another city. The food and its presentation are amazing along with the drinks. Higher end liquors are also available. Latin night on Thursday and live band and dj on Fridays. This is a must visit.

I dont know. We arrived early and there was a bad odor. Im not sure what it was but it wasnt pleasant. We inquired about it and my guests decided they didnt want to stay. I would love to come back when the odor is contained or resolved. The staff said it was a sewage problem in the area but not at their establishment

Best fine dining and atmosphere in Fayetteville. Friendly staff and fantastic chefs. Diverse menu including fried ribs, fried cauliflower and delicious salads. Truly a memorable experience.
