My husband and I came here and received our very first couples massage together while on our honeymoon and it was an absolute lovely experience.We both left feeling relaxed and at peace. Everything was super clean and everyone was extremely kind and helpful! We were both new to getting a massage as well but felt incredibly comfortable. 10/10 reccomend to anyone wanting a massage in the Fort Lauderdale area! Will definitely be visiting again when we take our next trip!

We got a couples massage from Groupon and what a great experience. My biggest complaint with Asian massage parlors is when they cry about the tip or try to squeeze you for a bigger tip. I would say that a $10 to $15 too is reasonable for a decent massage.They were very grateful to receive any tip amount and the massages were excellent.I had a woman and she had a man, which is the way I prefer it. My masseuse had very strong hands and applied them with just the right touch. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and dinner after the massage is a good idea. We are definitely going back.

DO NOT GO HERE. The massages are terrible and the masseuse was very aggressive and kept insisting that I tip her more when I expressed I didn’t want to because I didn’t enjoy my massage. When I said no again, she proceeded to try write in her own tip amount on the receipt, so she was basically going to steal my money. There are better locations to go to, and if you actually want a good relaxing experience, go there.Update: reply to owner. As a server, I understand tips are an important source of income but I certainly will not make my customers feel uncomfortable by basically forcing them to leave a larger tip than they already did just because it wasn’t up to MY standards. That’s the chance you take when you have a servicing job. You need to retrain your employees to give better massages and be less abrasive and maybe, just maybe, they’ll get better tips. Will not be back like I said. Thank you

My husband and I got a much needed 90 minute massage after traveling for 16 hours. We get a lot of massages at home. This was one of the best massages we have ever had. Service was super friendly and professional. Place was clean. We would definitely recommend getting a massage at Sunshine Massage and will definitely be back if ever in Fort Lauderdale. Where do I start? My girlfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to what we thought would be a nice massage. We were wrong. As soon as we walked in, we noticed that it was very humid and hot. Not comfortable at all. The massage itself was awful. They were way too rough. Elbowing my spinal cord and neck with immense pressure. That is unheard of. I got frustrated and asked them multiple times to be a bit more gentle and after the 3rd time, they finally let up. Not only that but our package included wine, which we did not receive until after the massage. We were met with a warm travel sized cheap plastic bottle wine at the end which we ended up just throwing away. When checking out, we tipped our therapists and they shoved a sign in our face asking for more money. Tipping is not a requirement, its based off of the serviced performed. Mind you, we tipped them 15%, and even that we felt like was being generous. We will not be returning. It took a lot in us to not get up and leave mid service.

This place is amazing! While the massage itself is something to rave about, their customer service is what put them over the top. I would highly recommend!

The massages my Husband & I had were awesome…..so awesome he wanted to go back the next day. The only thing I can say is “don’t judge a book by its cover” it’s a small spa where very little English is spoken. There are no frills that you might expect from a spa; however if you want the best massage you’ve ever had then this is the place to go.

Terrible customer service!! I called twice and no one answered the phone. When someone finally answered she said, “hello?” Without stating the name of the business. I asked if there is any availability for today and she quickly responded with an attitude, “no availability for today.” Mind you, you’re able to book an appointment for today online, so I don’t understand how there’s no availability for today. I told her I had a birthday voucher and her exact words were, “I don’t care.” Very rude and unprofessional. I used to like coming to this place, but never again.

It was a thorough massage.My ISSUE was when it was time to pay---I offered a $25 tip for my couples massage, but she wanted MORE--even asked for it by pointing at the Tip Sign. As soon as I reiterated my tip was $25, she and her colleague spoke in a non-English language. A tip is never REQUIRED or have to be a certain amount. If the price with tip is what you want, then set your price as that amount. It is this type of reason why I wouldnt go back to this establishment or recommend. For me, customer service starts when I walk in up until I leave.

I received a Groupon gift certificate from my brother for Christmas. I called and made an appointment for my husband and I for a couples massage. I got a babysitter and went to enjoy a relaxing message but had an awful stressful experience. We walked in and the place had an awful moldy smell and very outdated. I gave the lady at the front desk my Groupon and she started yelling at me that I can’t use the Groupon because it was only redeemable Monday-Friday. I read all the fine print on the Groupon gift receipt and it said nothing about Monday-Friday. She said that on the actually Groupon says Monday-Friday I explained that it was a gift so I never saw the original Groupon post. I explained to her I got a babysitter and if there is anyway we can keep our appointment and will even pay the difference from the Groupon rate to their price but she wouldn’t budge and turned us away. Very unprofessional very rude. Definitely will never return.

I was in Miami on Vacation and was looking for a good massage place as I had some discomfort in my shoulders and back. I found this place on Google and wanted to give a try. This was the best massage that I had ever got compared to the costly massage chains. The masseuse was experienced and she knows what she was doing. The pressure was on point and my shoulders and back was so relieved after the massage. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The body felt rejuvenated! I highly recommend this place. Looks like I will be stopping here one more time before I leave Miami!!!

Without a doubt the best massage I have ever had! My fiancé and I purchased the Groupon for a 60 min couples massage and scheduled via phone since the Groupon scheduler wasnt working. After we scheduled, they had great communication via text for confirming the appointment. Now the massage was absolutely amazing. I normally have a lot of lower back and shoulder pain and my masseuse, Anna, did an incredible job of working out my multiple knots and making my back feel so relaxed. My fiancé had Catherine who likewise did an amazing job. The Groupon included hot stone massage, which we had never done before, but it was a game-changer! This spa is the absolute place to get a massage if you are looking for both relaxation and also removing stress knots from your body. Fair warning if you cannot tolerate heat or strong pressure this may not be the place for you but it was exactly what we were looking for. The hot stones were only truly hot for a moment before becoming a very pleasant warmth, however if you know you have low heat tolerance just advise them prior to the massage. We will absolutely be getting another massage here as the quality and prices cannot be matched anywhere else weve tried (with a future 60 min couples massage just being the price of two massages, so $140).

I came in today with severe lower back pain, to a point where yesterday, I barely could walk home while taking the dog out. Lisa did a 90 min massage and relieved 85% of my pain! I’m loose and agile. Thank you so much! I’ll be using them for my massages going forward. Clean, pleasant, comfortable, and they really know the anatomy so well that they target your trouble area with just enough force, because they feel how much pressure you can take. Overall great experience and almost no pain now!

I went to Sunshine Spa in the past because of my past experiences. Today was a different ballgame. I walked in after 1 pm. No one was at the front desk for 15 mins. I had to literally walk back and say something. When staff finally came out they asked me if I had been there before, I stated yes. I stated that I wanted a 1 hour message for $70 in which I paid for upfront. I was taken back into the room waiting.....for someone to show up. When the employee walked in I was asked if it was a half hour, I stated that I paid for an hour. 20 minutes into the massage the employee leaves the room. Then another employee walks in and says that they are going finish the session. I asked what was going on. I didnt get an answer. I got up and got dressed. I went back to the front and told the woman to give me my money back. This was very nprofessional and businesses must understand that GOOD customer service goes a long way. I will NEVER go back there again. TREAT EVERYONE WITH RESPECT!! To the owner, review your cameras on this past Saturday 1/6/24.

I was gifted this awesome experience by my daughter for Mothers Day. It was the best massage Ive ever experience, from head to toe (literally), I highly recommend this business and the customer service was on point. They were inviting and attentive throughout my entire time spent. I will definitely tell others about my experience and how rejuvenated I felt afterwards. This was in a good location. The staff is friendly. The massage is very good. They actually do the entire hour in the massage and not take out time for undressing and dressing. The massage was very enjoyable. I will definitely be back.

I received a 2 hour couples massage from this location today. Upon arriving, I was immediately asked to submit payment ($310) and advised to also include the tip ($40) which I was hesitant about including upfront because I have never been here before and we hadn’t received our service yet. I didn’t want to tip for excellent service if that didn’t turn out to be what we received. After we received the massage,I was met up front by whom I assume was the receptionist and asked to increase my tip to the suggested amount (from $40 to $50). She noted that she wasn’t there earlier or she would have suggested it then. This was extremely uncomfortable particularly because there were other customers in the lobby. I suggested in the future that they do not have folks pay before receiving a service and allow them to leave a tip that they deem appropriate versus pressuring them into doing so. Although the massage was great and I definitively planned to return? Based on what I experienced around tips payment? I will not be returning nor will I recommend. Does everyone have to pay upfront or just people who look like my partner and I (i.e. Black folks)?

They say its their policy but Ive been there before and wasnt asked to pay anything until after. I realize they have policies but it is based on appearance and if/when they want to collect before or after which is wrong. I ended up going to another place, paying less while getting more time and better service. Will never go to this place again or recommend!

Great massage! There were two of us and we each did the 50min massage for $70. I get A LOT of massages and this one was quite good. Most importantly, the rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable and the essential oils they used was a nice touch. Our room was a little chilly but not chilly enough to make it worth saying something about it at the time. I would absolutely go back.

Our couples massage was good, I liked the hot stones and the overall service. May at the front desk was very welcoming and she made booking a reservation very easy. The bathroom was nice and clean. The only reason I didnt give them a 5 star is because the couples massage room looked like it needed minor repairs or updating at the least. The massage beds were not 5 star either, but definitely got the job done. But if you want a really good massage and small atmosphere details or upgrades dont matter, then this is a good place to go. I would visit here again because the price was unbeatable for the quality of the actual massage.

One of the best massages at the regular rate you can get in Broward county. The daytime special rate makes it even better. The staff is extremely nice, they recognize you and give you a full hour detailed massage. Very clean and it has been my go to place each time. I have recommended it to all my friends.

I was a bit hesitant having a complete stranger give me a massage but after we were done everyone felt relaxed. I compared many places but they were super expensive, I felt the prices for this massage spa were reasonable with a great service! Ill definitely be coming back again, I need it for my back! My boyfriend is not usually one for professional massages but we both have been run down and needing one badly so we called and they fit us in same day. Communication was not a problem at all. They were very accommodating when we needed to move our appointment time and the price can’t be beat especially with hot stones and essential oils included! The room for the couple’s massage was simple, clean, and relaxing with soothing music and dim lighting. Honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Perfect amount of pressure, a little on the heavy side which we both needed. Lots of knots worked out and some stretching as well. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back! :)

My husband & I love to get couple massages; we’ve been to super fancy places/resorts to hole in the walls and I have to say this is by far one of the best massages we’ve ever had! They were so thorough and had great pressure, took their time (a lot of places say an hour & don’t do the full hour) & the hot stones were amazing! Very professional, nice background music, they let you pick your oil of choice and give you warm towels to clean your hands. There’s a lot of places that may have a nicer ambiance or lots of frills but purely massage wise this is the best I’ve had in the states! Definitely a returning customer! Wonderful

My friends and I got a massage here. We were visiting from Wisconsin. They got us in very fast and did a excellent job. I ended up leaving my wedding ring there. I called back 5 hours later and they said they had it and gave it back to me safely. These guys are the real deal!!!!

Enjoyed our massage would even say much better than big name places. I had a gentleman was a first for me he was excellent! As soon as he came in the room he put towels under my arms to aid in comfort for a busted woman to lay flat and I have to say all the female massage therapist I’ve had never thought of this! We both had an awesome experience and will come back next time in town.

This was an good experience as a couple for myself and my boyfriend. It was right on the beach and the atmosphere is nice and the staff, upon entrance and throughout the massage, was friendly and respectable. The masseuse was able to get out the knots that were built up and implement a very nice deep tissue, hot stone treatment. It was very much needed and very much appreciated. The reason I am giving this establishment a four star rating was because as a couple we paid $140 for a couples massage, which is not an issue at all. We abided by their. PREFERRED tip that was present on the sign and tipped the an additional $20 for excellet. When we gave the tip to one of the masseuses we were met with a look of confusion and dissatisfication. It wasn’t until we spoke with the another masseuse that she was able to accept the tip generously. The other worker that we initially, mistakenly, gave the tip to stated that the $20 wasn’t enough for a couples massage and that next time we need to tip $40. I have no issue tipping $40+ next time for a couples massage. The issue I have was the entitlement that was presented after we paid our full service and provided an optional tip. If you would prefer for couples to pay twice the amount of tips it should be notified on the makeshift sign that they have in the lobby. I think that it’s very disrespectful to demand a certain amount of tips for a service that has already been paid for and given additional tips. I will not be coming here in the future, personally. My partner did express enjoyment in the Massage and experience however, off principle I will no longer be coming to this establishment.

The massage experience itself was nice but they were extremely rude and unprofessional, did not close the door when they asked us to change, and made us pay before telling us one of the masseuses were male. They were also rushing us the whole time and got mad when we didnt understand the directions about what essential oil to use. They also reprimanded us for not wanting to get undressed completely and were yelling at us instead of talking. Highly disappointing experience, so of course we only tipped $10 pp (we shouldnt have tipped at all) and she yelled at us for not tipping enough, and started yelling at us in Chinese to her colleagues and pointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Got two massages at $90 per massage, mentioned multiple times the pressure was too hard, and was almost in tears the whole massage. I feel in pain after how hard it was the whole time. My boyfriends therapist walked out of the room 3 times for atleast a minute-2 minutes, but finished the same time as mine. They spoke to each other 3-4 times during our massage and we could hear other workers the whole time. Was probably one of the worst massages I’ve had. While leaving we give the front desk $40 to give to the therapists, and she looks at us and points at a sign with faces and $$$ tip options. She then proceeded to tell us our over 20% tip wasn’t enough and asked if we had more cash to give them. I work in the tip industry and I would NEVER demand more money for a TIP from a client. Especially if the original tip was over 20%. Learn manners, you don’t demand peoples money from them.

The massage was extremely rough. I did not leave feeling like I just got a massage and the next morning I woke up sore as if I went to the gym the day before. I gave a two star because the massage my spouse received was great. He said it was very relaxing and he felt “loose.” They kept walking In and out the room during our session to retrieve items such as the oils, hot rocks and hot towels needed for our massage and we didn’t receive the courtesy wine for two. I will not be returning here.

Great communication throughout from May, who texted us after booking and sent us a reminder one day prior to our massage.The massage itself was incredible – my lower back and shoulders tend to be super tight, and my masseuse, Catherine, knew exactly which pressure points to go for to help! She did some amazing stretches with my hamstrings and shoulders that had me feeling incredible after the hour. My fiancée had Anna, who was equally amazing! The Groupon included a hot stone massage of the back and legs, which I personally loved! The stones weren’t too hot for me, but let them know before hand if you have a lower heat tolerance if you’ve never had this type of massage before. Tips here are cash only, so make sure you have some on hand! We will absolutely be getting another massage here as the quality and prices cannot be matched anywhere else we’ve been to in South Florida.

They argued with me over the tip saying I didn’t give enough and they were literally yelling - NEVER go here. Extremely unprofessional. I will make a complaint with the city and massage board. If you look at the other reviews, other people have complained about this exact same thing. They respond to the reviews saying their policy is not to do this but that is completely untrue. If it was true people would not continually leave reviews complaining about this. Instead of getting a “thank you” when I left I was literally barraged by the staff trying to force me to tip more.

I booked a couples massage via Groupon after reading great reviews. Groupon allows you to select a date and time. The following day I received a call saying the appointment I selected wasnt available. Then I asked for availability for 2 weeks out. They claimed to not have any availability except for a Thursday. They basically dont want to honor Groupons on Friday even though the Groupon says it can be used on Friday. The number that called me to tell me they didnt have availability didnt even answer when I called back. To avoid further headache I just cancelled my order and got a refund. Based off of this experience I would not recommend.

The fact that I purchased a groupon to get a couple massage then to call and schedule an appointment and the receptionist was beyond rude. She stated they are not accepting Groupon because they have limited staff but you can come in and pay Cash and still be seen. How is that even possible if your staff is limited. Just say you are not accepting Groupon at a lowered rate and just want cash. I don’t see why Groupon is even advertising for this company.
