I have attended several times on Sunday Nights, because they have a really good reggae band that plays. However, I will not continue supporting Blue Martini due to their current policy. At a certain time they try to force you into buying a table/bottle or you’ll just have to stand around the entire time. They even remove all seating around the bar. Even if the tables aren’t sold the employees will not allow you to sit. There’s other places to go that don’t treat guest like that. I’m sorry I’m personally done. The last time I was there, I was quoted table for two at $125 by the way. Just sharing for those who maybe considering going there.
I’ve never been here in my entire life and now that I’ve been I can say that it is so much fun. I went on Saturday which was Latin night. I unfortunately don’t speak Spanish so I didn’t get the most out of it that I could’ve… perhaps a different evening. I accidentally left my phone there and the bartender saved me by keeping it behind the bar. Thank you so much! The drinks were delicious, band was fabulous and the people watching was super entertaining!
In my opinion its a great atmosphere for food and drinks , I wouldnt recommend it for a family looking for a good relaxing meal , its more of a place to start your night with food and drinks with friends . Very friendly staff , the food and menu itself seems like they are chasing trend rather than great food . But thats just my opinion . And I only tried a few things on the menu. All in all great service , great atmosphere .
Having frequented Blue Martin Fort Lauderdale for several years, its been a place I appreciated for its mature clientele and overall experience it offered. However, in recent visits, Ive noticed a noticeable shift towards a club vibe which has altered the original vibe.Though I understand that businesses evolve over time, the unique appeal is slowly fading.I sincerely hope management will at least allow patrons to sit at the bar again.
Went to charge my car, and and got caught up here for lunch. Jay, the bartender, was amazing, got here when it opened and it was pretty much dead. Watched as the place started packing in on the patio. Everyone wanting drinks and food right when they opened. The food was slower than ideal it seemed, but the drinks kept pouring. Good music, good service, and the barbacks were able to support her efforts. All smiling faces. Will come again.
Lovely happy hour at Blue Martini after picking up a neighbor at Fort Lauderdale Airport. I ordered the lollipop lamb chops and they were moist and tasty. The mashed potatoes and arugula salad were perfect sides. The pesto sauce was fantastic! Our waitress was wonderful. We ate outside.. They have plenty of outdoor seating and three large bars. An added bonus was the car chargers inside the parking garage! Delightful September evening !
This is my regular Wednesday evening spot. However, my latest visit was full of surprises. There was a flyer on the site, and at the door that clearly states women free before 10 pm, they didnt honor this. The price to get in was $30, and there wasnt any advertising to showcase this. The guard tried to sell you the reserved tables. Then, when inside, all the tables at the front were being sold as reserved spots. The drinks were full of ice, changing the taste of the mixture. The band was good, but the experience wasnt what I was used to. Will be taking a a break. Stop the false advertising.
Went there just to get out and have a drink, best decision. I ended up dancing all night until I was ready to leave. The music was LIT everyone was dancing, being friendly, nice mixed ages not too old or young, no smoking, respectful crazy fun. (:The only thing is ... why do we have to purchase a table for $150?
They wouldnt accept a gift card I purchased from their website. Place was dead. Actual Owner came out and offered no accommodations for the inconvenience. I purchased the certificate as a gift and sent my son to your establishment. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else
Love going to Blue Martini for Happy Hour. The outside bar is a great hangout spot. The drink specials are great along with a few of the food items. Alysha the bartender is one of the best.
I went to Blue Martini Fort Lauderdale on Friday for Happy Hour... And the staff was Amazing!!!! My Bartender Alysha made my experience even better!! She was a great conversationalist, They have these Amazing Lamb Chops & the Chicken Cesar salad was great.. When I left I didn’t feel like I over paid for drinks!! And that usually how you feel when you’re on Fort Lauderdale beach. The drinks were perfect!!! I’ll definitely be back!!!
88$ for a beer, margarita, and 2 orders of sliders. 20% gratuity included and we waited 45 minutes- 1 hour at the bar with no one approaching us/greeting us once. The bar back and bartender even looked at us and didn’t approach us…really not sure why? I had to waive down/get out of my seat to get attention of the bartender to get service every single time whether it was to order, get a menu, ask for check, etc. we weren’t in a rush but at some point it became apparent we would be there until closing with no service unless I started standing up and waiving people down. The bar wasn’t packed so I really don’t understand. I also don’t mind gratuity included…but for knowingly providing such slow and inattentive service I was shocked at the audacity to include it. Especially for a party of 2 that ordered a drink and appetizer. The sliders were also not hot and they were dry/not cooked correctly. No one came to check on us/ask how food was, etc. We were excited to try this place but service was so bad we would never come back. They probably needed another bartender back there, I’m really not sure what was going on but it was disappointing ☹️.
I went for reggae night just my type of hype. We had the barbecue wings & fries I thought the food was pretty good. The vibe was good all night friendly crowd.
GO TO KEKOONGO TO SMITH AND WEBSTERREQUESTING SERVICE IS NOT TOLERATED HERE!!!!GO WHERE SERVICE IS NOT AN OPTION!!!Visited this establishment on 6/5/2024 at approximately 7.30pm. The service started out impeccable until a request for a delayed order went left. Bartender accused a member of the party of assaulting her. After the member went to the bar to follow up on an order that was 30-45 mins delayed. Order being a bottle of water! According to the bartender - the individual touched her from across the 2 feet wide bar counter. The situation was escalated to the Manager Rex, who was asked to review the camera footage to confirm or dispute said claims; to which he stated the process was timely and the accused party would have to remain on the exterior of the establishment for the duration. We urged him to do so. While waiting we were approached by the event promoter, who requested we re-enter the establishment. The promoter ensured the security team that this directive was blessed by the manager Rex. We re-entered the establishment to continue our night. Shortly after our re-entry Rex the manager appeared with what appeared to be our tab; citing he had to close same. In an attempt to make sense of this turn of events we requested a conference with Rex on the exterior of the dwelling. It was there that Rex advised the promoter of the event stated he was to close our tab - a statement we soon discovered was deception on Rexs part. At this point the message was clear - our business was not desired at this establishment. We peacefully paid our bill minus gratuity and exited the establishment. Rex the manager made zero attempt to try and resolve the issue with the accessible facts i.e. the security footage. He sided with the bartender and her escalated accusation as by the second request for our exit from the establishment the bartender was now citing we were all intoxicated. A complete fabrication as 1/2 of the party present was consuming their 1st or 2nd drink. However her words were to Rex factual and final; evident in his decision to close our tab and when he was unable to justify his decision he used the promoter as a scape goat. Rex is a dishonest individual. The lesson here is to my melanated folks. Spend your coins somewhere else like Kekoons or Smith & Webster. Blue Martini is not it.
After spending $80 at happy hour and going inside the place and see the band play. We were forced to move out of our seats because we kept the drinks from outside and didnt buy more as the barmaid kept asking if were ok! Then later came back and said that we were seated in the area that we had to spend $250, where as the areas had signs up for the spending were placed on the tables before we chose the seat.
$10 cover charges for a band that hasn’t even started playing at 10:15 pm. $250 reserved tables, my bartender had no idea how to make a Fuzzy navel but hooked me up with my newly created drink! Dancing was a bunch of drunk women and the DJ was just okay, he definitely wasn’t trying to get a party started… and the crab and shrimp dip was made with frozen shrimp and lacked flavor… I ate it cause the toast was good and it cost too much to waste…
The worst service I ever received. We had to sit ourselves down, which was no big deal, however, we waited 15-20 minutes and had to wave down someone to come see us and take our order (btw, they were not busy at all there was barely anyone). Then, the female server named Alexandra who served us was not friendly and did not once check on us after delivering our meals to see if everything was ok or if we need anything else. As we were eating I saw our server and another female co-worker standing around chatting with each other and not caring about checking on us or on the new customer who was sitting down. Our server only check on us at the end when we were done with our meals. Additionally, we waited for almost another 30 minutes before we got our bill. Worst customer service ever due to the two servers we observed. There was one guy who was actually working who was not our server who checked on us, which we appreciate. The food was ok, our food was a bit dry and filet minot a bit more cooked than what we requested. I never had to leave a bad review for a restaurant before, but this is the first time that I had to. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place to anyone.** FYI, they charge a 20% gratuity to your bill, which they do not deserve that 20% at all!!
Jay was the best she was so sweet recommended appetizers and more! I have to come back, the shrimp crab dip is the best and her drinks were so gooood!!!!
Happy Hour! Drinks were💥. Sat at the patio where the tv blinked during the entire stay. Glad to see my fav waitress shes been there 10 years of me visiting. Retrieving the vehicle was time consuming due to spring break traffic.
We made reservations on opentable and arrived on time. We were not told when making reservations that there is a cover charge. Apparently if you dont spend 200 dollars, you have to sit outside because the music is inside and you need to pay the cover charge. If this was told to us when making reservations, it wouldve been totally fine but the girl at the door had a really bad attitude so we decided to leave. We went to Coopers Hawk instead its right near Blue Martini and we had a great time. Food was amazing, manager welcomed us with a smile and we had a great experience. Go there instead, you wont be disappointed.
Blue Martini is always a win! Great atmosphere, great drinks, tasty food - all around fab time .
Alysha is the goat. I’ve been visiting this branch for 10 years and today is my 10th anniversary m- a blue martini never gets old. Day or night this place is a vibe!
On Saturday and Sunday they have a live band performing all night. There is a $10 cover charge per person but it’s worth it. They play soo much great music. I got a blue martini, a mango tango and one old fashion. Safe to say I was very much intoxicated. Also ate the sliders and the margherita pizza flatbread. The sliders had blue cheese in it which was kinda gross. The flatbread was amazing, very cheesy. I’ll definitely come back here. Very good vibes.
If you need somewhere to have few martinis while listening to live music, this is it. Drove up from Miami with a friend on Friday(06/21/19) and the ambiance was fantastic. There was a $10 per person entrance fee which seems reasonable. We sat outside because there were no available seats inside. My friend ordered a Thai Style Chicken with Red Wine and I had the Spinach & Artichoke Dip with a glass of Moscato. I enjoyed my Dip and Moscato. After about 45 minutes outside, we found seats inside. However, the music was too loud and overpowers the artists singing. You could not hear any words to what was being sung. The music was just deafening and all noise. Aside from that easily corrected issue, the place was pretty decent and I would go back.
When I arrived at this Blue Martini restaurant, bar , and nightclub at the Galleria Mall on Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, the Latin Band was playing and the music was really good. It made you want to dance. I learned that although the band was playing and it was 8pm, the busier time for this hot spot is 9-11pm so at 8pm, I was actually a little early. It gave me a chance to find a great place to sit and enjoy this fun evening. This location also has other themed nights throughout the week so theres a variety of options for food, music, and fun. The was free garage parking and valet parking available.
First time going here on a Sunday where they have Caribbean night. I must say that you must get there early to get a good seat at the bar. Or somewhere were you able to see the band? The band was nice and you could hear the music. It does get crowded, so its only a little room to dance. The atmosphere Was nice. The service was a little slow. I guess because she was training someone. There was ample amount of parking in the garage. So overall, it was a Good Night. Will visit again.
Was hoping for Sliders but the replacements were good. Mandy is an awesome bartender! We just got a few models and a shot of rum so I cant speak on the cocktails
It was okay but I thought it was going to be a lot better very expensive and we have to pay the cover charge to get in and the place was very outdated and not that busy for a Saturday night. Also I was told it was $250 for a 4 seat table but they would return the $10 for each person
We went on Sunday which is reggae night (I think) for my friends birthday and had a blast!!! The band was amazing! I felt like I was at a reggae concert with guest performers and all 🤣. We ordered martinis and food items and let me tell you the lamb chops are to die for, seasoned to perfection! The martinis took most of us out with just 2 so that could tell you how strong they were. If you want to enjoy a nice live band and drinks with friends or significant other give this place a try
Love this place! One of our favorite place to hang out for a great cocktails and live music. We usually go there on a Saturday night, live band performing starting at 8pm till midnight. Great crowds, and always friendly, upbeat waitresses. They have a limited menu items, although we dont particularly love the food. They are three great restaurants next door with better food selections, so you can dine first then head on to Blue Martini for live music and dancing.
I went here for the first time last night and ordered the wings (medium) and I felt like I was eating baked, non seasoned wings. I sent them back and ordered a pepperoni flatbread. Unfortunately the pizza was lackluster and I just took it to go.My friend had the same issue with his food. He ordered the thai chicken and it had little taste and he also reordered the lamp chops. He barely ate them. Not sure what was going on with the food. It was horrible and I would have preferred to just stayed in at hone. Such a disappointment especially as my first time and being new to the area. The restaurant has a good vibe and drinks were ok!
The restaurant is below average. The prices are very high, there is no service at all, except for the bartenders. Who forgets an order after 5 minutes. For four shots of whiskey and four beers, the check is $240. A black music performer is usually rude to patrons. Considers himself an unapproachable star. I dont recommend it, a waste of time and money.
Jay is the best bartender everrrrrrr,,, def recommend her she had the best drinks and recommendations def take time out to come see her again
Great spot, great food and music, poor service bartender Anyelimar had an attitude problem.
I have been to the blue martini in Dallas and had a good time, so when I saw there was a location in ft lauderdale I had to go. And it did not disappoint. We arrived at happy hour and the specials were great. Lamb chop lollipops were delicious. Drink specials were good and of course the live music topped off our visit. Think I will try the Phoenix location next!!
I was there on a Sunday Caribbean night The ambiance was awesome, great music, great food.....drinks a bit expensive but have to pay for the live entertainment somehow.
Just be aware they will charge you 20% as a service fee before tax and tip. Apart from that, everything was OK.
New owners will not honor any cupons/certificates from past owner. Not a good business decision. From what I see they need help food was nothing that great location is not on the water so if they think the night club part is going to keep them afloat and not the people that come year after year to happy hr and dinner are important. The nice part is that there are many other restaurants to enjoy. We will not be returning to Blue Martini.
Had a 7pm reservation. After 20 minutes of notifying the nabager we left very disappointed but walked into Capital Grille and it was awsone.
Food is decent. They allow cigarette smoking which takes away from the experience. Please note: this is the only place that allows smoking on the patio in this area. I had to get my food to go.
I wasn’t too pleased when I was told to take my hat off because it went with my outfit, but not one was I treated with disrespect. The staff seemed like they cared for safety and service. The hookah refill was a bit pricey but my friends and I was there for a good time, not a long time. They kept my hat until I left, although nervous because it cost over $100, I wanted to make sure I was able to get it back as I left, in which I did. The security advise me at the end that reggae nights are on Sunday, but since I work Monday-Friday Sunday nights are always impossible.
Staff and everyone is so nice n respectful. Such and amazing place to go out and enjoy yourself, friends, family, All. Thanks blue Martini
Blue Martini Haitian Night. Guest Kai and T-vice. Great night!
Went for happy hour & we put in our second drink 20 minutes until happy hour was over & the waitress didnt bring our drinks until after 7:00 & tried to change us full price for our order & added 20 percent gratuity to our order & the service was horrible. Besides the terrible waitress we enjoyed the establishment.
Time spent at Blue Martini is always enjoyable. (The crowd is all-ages but mostly 40+.) We like the appetizers & the drinks are always delicious. Entourage is our favorite band that plays there. They feature a lot of “old school” songs (R&B & some funkadelic) that we city girls love to groove to, even if it’s just “chair dancing” lol 😂 Some nights they feature Latin acts that can also be fun. Best to check their schedule for evening entertainment. Make a “VIP” reservation in advance if you’re bringing numbers & want a guaranteed table, this place gets packed on good band nights! Service is on-time, entire facility is very clean (the ladies’ room attendant is a doll) & security is excellent which we appreciate. Go dancing! 😉
I wanted to rate this place five stars because of the music. I-95 was playing live and they were awesome! We also had the sirloin sliders and they were pretty good. But my husband and I ordered a pear martini and a mojito and the mojito was weak and super sweet. So we complained to the waitress and she took offense as if it was she who was making the drink. She never came back to check on us and my husband had to go and order two more rounds (something else for him) on his own to the bartender. When we finally said something to the manager, he sent her to us and of course instead of being apologetic she just asked us what we wanted. Listen, if I’m going to pay $15 a drink which I don’t mind doing, then I want to be happily served and that unfortunately did not happen this evening. As you can see from the pictures below, the bar was pretty empty. But whatever, I wanted to spend the weekend here but won’t be coming back.
Best experience I’ve had in a long time! The staff and owner make you feel welcome. 10/10 will definitely come back for many years!
I am sitting here as I write this review. I came with a friend and we sat for almost 30 mins before we had to ask the bar tender if someone is going to take our order. He had to go find a server. Pleasant young lady she took our order. Other people came in different races. A black couple that were sitting close to ust he server went over to them. I saw a lady I assume is the manager went to a table that two older white ladies were sitting these ladies came in after the black couple. She asked them if they were served they said no. She then proceeded to go to the server and pointed to the two ladies and said go over to them. The server then cut her conversation and then went to to two ladies. The black couple waited for her to return whoever that proved futile. They had to go to the bar to get service. I want to think it is short staff however, other ppl were getting served. Nice atmosphere food and drink are good just hire more ppl so everyone can be treated equally in 2024.
Blue Martini is a cool spot. I went for the music and social networking. The immediate impression was that the staff was welcoming from the conversation with the assistant manager. Reggae music could be heard from Vision Band and the set did not disappoint as patrons sang along and danced while others talked and ate. I look forward to revisiting and seeing what else Blue Martini offers.
Had a really good time! Music was great and the atmosphere was nice!
Alysha was beautiful. All her drink recommendations were great!!! She could not be more welcoming. Alysha could not have been more accompanying
One of my favorite places in Florida. Have been to different locations and all of them good.Last time visited this one. Loved it. Atmosphere, live music, nice and beautiful bartenders (yes, it’s important too), tasty drinks, good service. Not sure why we’ve been asked to pay for entrance that time but no complaints in general. Great place for either couples or single people. Definitely recommend everyone to visit. You won’t get bored there.
Had an amazing time tonight. Ernesto gave great service. Be sure to ask for him!
This place is awesome now it had a bad reputation 7–15 years ago. The guys at the door would harass any guy coming in tell him they had to have nice shoes not want to let any men in without colored shirts or if they’re not with a pretty girl. I don’t know if They were looking for extra tips at the door just to let them in. It’s nothing like that now it’s more pleasant experience now
I had to wait 35 minutes at the bar before any of the bartenders took my order. Three people took my order, but only one was able to actually deliver. I asked politely when I was ready to order and the bar tender said he would come back but he never did. Someone else came up and made the drinks- I am very dissappointed with their service. Overall the service today was terrible.Dont come on Fridays during happy hours. the service is TERRIBLE
Fun ambiance at this Blue Martini and TVice plays there once a month!!!
I have been to blue martini numerous times.. but I dont remember that on Sundays its $10 for cover charge for women
While visiting Ft Lauderdale we found this place to have an entertaining environment. For those who want to party and dance to great live music. To those who simply want to sit out on the patio and enjoy the night life scenery. Loved the older crowd. Good drinks and service for a fair price. Must say the boyfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful night out at Blue Martini.
This was a nice little experience for Happy Hour. However, if youre not continuously spending money, you cant stay seated. The food was cold not freshly cooked to order.
We came there for the music to dance but there was no dance floor, no room to dance . Other than than it was nice.
We loved this place and the staff was so amazing from the Hostess to the bar staff... our barmaid was exceptional 👏 I cant remember her name but shout out to the young lady who I think was from Ohio..She made sure my sis and I had front roll VIP seats for the Salsa Band...we Loved....the whole vibe....we told everyone we know...Thanks for a great time!
Its always a fun time here. Live music is great and so is the DJ. Last night we did a conga line and everyone was enjoying the night
Did not like how New Management, now require you to pay for a table, if you just come to listen to the live band and dance, and the price of the tables are a turn off
I wanted to take the time to write a review about this place since our Christmas Party was a success, everyone had fun, danced, ate, etc. Kelly made sure that everything went perfectly, thanks to Kelly, the bartenders and our waiter for so much pleasant attention
SERVICE IS BAD AND THEY TREAT PEOPLE LIKE TRASH. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOBODY EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
This place has continued to die a slow demise over the years. Still, they struggle trying to charge $10 cover with rude intimidating bouncers dressed in black at the door who wont smile, just there to scare away anyone, not welcome. The owners of this place should get a clue what is going on here. I try to give it another chance, but my friends and I keep shaking our heads how sad this spot is.
Upscale atmosphere good vibes and live band on the weekends 🔥🔥🔥
Just stop by to grab a bite to eat before heading into the nightlife. It was very late before closing and we were able to put our order in and get our food quickly and it was delicious.
I went with female friends and discovered that while we were dancing, a few foreigners with boring beers on hand, were drinking our cocktails😱!!! 🚨We complained to the manager and he didn’t do anything😱!!! I’ll never be back. 😷Good live music as far as I remember. ☹️
This place is a vibe, it has great music the food is good and the drinks are string. The area is nice and I like how open it is. Its also other places in area to eat if you want to come here for drinks and live music. I would return again. BTW very Beautiful ladies be here.
Relaxing atmosphere. Its a good place to go if youre single. They have a bit of an older crowd.Good music, it hasnt been too full the last few times Ive gone.
Great place for live band and fun atmosphere. There wings and lamb chops are to die for !!
I went to this place on a Saturday that they promoted as Latin night. They should have called it Reggaetón night instead because it was 97% of the music their DJ played and their live band played. It was horrible! Only heard one salsa played all night! Latin music its not only the horrible reggaeton, is also salsa, cha cha, merengue, bachata, mambo, pachanga, samba! And I asked personally a request to the DJ to play one famous song and he never heard of that song! And never played it for me. The DJ is not even latino! Why they hire a DJ who is not Latino and clearly doesnt know about Latin music to play in a Latin night? And the band, they played/sang mostly reggaeton too. It was a nightmare listening to this all night and still had to pay almost $300 because my group reserved a table and the minimum consumption for a table was $250. We couldnt just leave, we still had to pay the minimum. Glad the drinks and service were good, our waitress was adorable and the security were nice. The place is nice too but unfortunately, the music ruins it.
Experienced racism service there dont go there unless your not a minority
My friend & I had just gotten to Ft. Lauderdale for the weekend. We decided to start off at Blue Martini (my first time ever) & see how the night went. Needless to say, after meeting Ernesto at the bar, the rest of the night was history.Between interactive, funny, genuine convo, yummy drinks, delish food & even a mesmerizing drink trick, he really made our night! He’s freaking awesome, make sure to catch him next time you’re in town.
Me and my friend went there for happy hour we had such a great time ! Especially for something nice being so local , the bartender Elisha was very accommodating ! she was fabulous ! Definitely will be returning back
I went on a Saturday night and a Sunday night for their live bands (Latin and reggae). Food was good (I got a Margherita flat bread). Staff was friendly and there was great AC for dancing. I was able to dance all night without feeling like I was too hot. Would definitely come again :)
Great food, drinks and live music is always exceptional here
My recent experience at Blue Martini in Fort Lauderdale was highly disappointing. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I noticed that the cleanliness was subpar. However, I decided to give it a chance and proceeded to order food. Unfortunately, the chicken I ordered was overcooked and extremely dry, leaving me unsatisfied with my meal.To make matters worse, when my girlfriend ordered a drink, we were shocked to find black particles in the ice and white floating substances in the drink. It was a clear indication of poor hygiene standards. Surprisingly, the manager, who happened to be sitting nearby, overheard our concerns and rather than addressing them professionally, she rudely denied the presence of any issues. This lack of accountability and customer service was truly disheartening. Moreover, my initial suspicion regarding the restaurants cleanliness was confirmed when I visited the restroom. It was unacceptably dirty, further indicating the lack of attention to basic cleanliness and hygiene.Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to stay away from Blue Martini in Fort Lauderdale. The unsanitary conditions, combined with the overcooked and dry food, made for an extremely disappointing dining experience. It is unfortunate that the managers behavior only worsened the situation, as it demonstrated a lack of concern for customer satisfaction. I hope that the management of Blue Martini takes these criticisms seriously and works towards improving the overall quality of their establishment.
Out bartender/waitress was awesome. Super friendly and engaging. We will definitely return on our next trip to Fort Lauderdale
A lot of fun live music always good
They have a live reggae band come on around 9/930pm on Sundays. Expect to pay $50 or more to sit at a table near the band plus you have to order drinks.
Terrible service, untrained staff. But we had fun with no drinks and no food, there loss for not making money. We went to capital grill and received amazing service
I visited Blue Martini last Sunday. Loved their happy hour specials, their great service, and their martinis are the best!Had the opportunity to interact with the manager on duty Yessy, she was extremely professional, and helped me with an issue with my card, resolving it quickly and efficiently. She rocks! And her staff too!
BM is amazing. Love the happy hour hours. On Thursdays they have an amazing band. Check them out..
Went here for my birthday on reggae night. There’s a small cover. Don’t expect quality drinks or knowledgeable bartenders. Drinks are also expensive. Just prefunk before and/or order off the menu. Food selection is also very small but the lamb chops and the sliders were tasty.
Came for happy hour, and the food was spectacularly awful. Flatbread and artichoke dip had clearly been under the heat lamp for hours—both were dry and hard. One could get better pizza at 7-eleven at 4:0AM. Oh, and service was terribly slow.
Several of us went last year - walked from Fort Lauderdale beach. I was wearing nice shorts and an Under Armor polo shirt. They had just opened for the evening. The hostess told me “sorry but we don’t let people in who are wearing gym clothes” I was shocked. Back down this year for a few weeks. I now don’t care what I am wearing, I would never go back to such a ridiculous place. Have been out with many friends, many times. I always point out and tell them the story. Everyone promises not to go there as well as they agree the “Dress Code” is freaking ridiculous!
Nice music friendly atmosphere. They have live music so you can enjoy some of the local talent while youre there. We had to pay a 10 dollar cover charge to get in. Overall I will return as this was my 3rd one Ive visited.
No choice to sit,all tables reserved and I realized that theyre not, only when its not full they allow customers to sit.Band should be with bands playing a variety, not just Latino music on Saturdays.
Truly mind blowing experience. The band is beyond amazing, the atmosphere and service were phenomenal. My new favorite spot in Fort Lauderdale!
Disgraceful what they do. Be warned they are adding a service charge to all drinks at the bar hoping you don’t notice so you will add a tip. While I understand that this is common practice for large dinner reservations I have never seen this at a bar. I am sure many like me in a dark and noisy place don’t check a drinks tab to see if there is a service charge. I send several emails to the manager but he didn’t have the decency to reply. This is in my opinion a dishonest trade practice and people need to be aware of it
I had the worsted experience with the bartender kely, I work in the industry in miami wynwood and I’ve never seen such a rude and unprofessional Pearson. Place had good music and the other members of the staff were really nice, but not kely.
Don’t support this business. They treat their employees very bad.
The live Reggae Band on Sunday was nothing short of amazing! I was dancing the whole night through btwn the band and the DJ! Brought back so many memories with having a passion for music! Thank you staff (great service) and band for having me there for the first time. I will definitely be back every time I am in town!
I walked to Blue Martini and I have frequented them 🍸 from the Kimpton Hotel. I explained this to the front door people and they just said it’s $10 cover and I’m like I just walked 4 miles to come to your bar. I have money but if someone told me this is let them in and not charge a cover. The place wasn’t even busy. I left.
Im so disappointed. Went on 2.20.22 for the first time.... no waitress came over so the manager took the orders. It took her an hour to bring me a cup of water (which tasted weird), two hours for us to get the drinks we ordered, which we had to go to the bar to order ourselves because the manager disappeared and never brought us the drinks. The appetizers we put in took forever to come out. Service was atrocious!!!! Then they had the nerve to include a 20% tip on my tab. Uuummmmmm.... you didnt earn that tip! And when I got up to pay my tab (because the waitress never came back) I found the waitress off in the corner with 2 other waitresses taking shots with some guys. If this is how you run your establishment, then no thanks. Ill go spend my money at a place where Ill get decent service and my waitress isnt taking shots instead of serving the hungry and thirsty patrons. Two thumbs down. Zero out of ten. Dont recommend. And yes, I know places are short staffed, thats why the people you have on staff should have enough integrity to be working, not disappearing. If you dont have the capacity to serve your patrons, then set a capacity limit, but you wont do that because youd rather take the money and give bad service. Shame on you. Shame!
We had an awesome time at the Blue Martini on a Sunday night. The Live Band and the DJ had the place turn all the way up. They even had a special guest artist. We were visiting from The Bahamas and we felt right at home. Well definitely be back.
Umm. Weird place. Clearly a singles bar...40s 50s 60s. Kind of a 3 person wedding band performing. So asterisk the live music venue The servers were nice. The apps were decent. And very good outdoor space given its part of a mall on sunrise. So for those reasons, 2 stars. Otherwise, cant see returning.
Kelcie was AMAZING. Please don’t let her go. It was my first time there and I don’t wanna go back unless Kelcie is my server.
The live music was horribly loud beginning at 4pm on Saturday Nov 21. We had to move to another table further away from the speakers to have a conversation and even then it was difficult to hear each other. We requested the music be turned down and were told the manager agreed. Nothing was done to change the volume.. We have been regular local customers of Blue Martini and enjoyed it in the past. The service, food and drinks were most always very good. However, we will not be going back and cannot recommend if and when there is loud music!
The service was ok and the food was ok.The Band was excellent.
Love Sunday reggae nights, the band is awesome,my favorite hang out spot, wonderful staff,I am comfortable and safe there..Food and drinks good.
What an awesome place. Went on Sunday when they had a live reggae band. Great vibes. More fun than I had at the one in Atlanta. Would definitely go back my next trip to Florida
Excellent place. I love all the remodeling they have done. The servers are so nice.
The bouncers at the door is very bias. They discredited me, because I had on a shirt with a Jordan symbol. It was referred as sports wear. But I seen a customer (male) inside with shorts and sandals on. I understand anywhere you go, theres a dress code. It seems to me like the bouncers was a little racist against black (male) customer. Can the owner please look into this matter.
This past Sunday went to Blue Martini on the recommendation of a friend. Sadly, it was a disappointment solely due to lack of customer service. Sat at the bar for roughly 5 to 6 minutes with no knowledgement from anyone. Bar-back was standing directly in front of me, facing me and didn’t say hello, one moment someone will be with you ladies, a crack of a smile. Nothing. It was not a busy night. There was not loud music playing. At the bare minimum we could of been greeted. Nevertheless, we went hadn’t been there in awhile, thought the recommendation was a good one. We left and gave our business to a customer friendly spot who appreciated our presence & money! So thank you Blue Martini for ignoring us. It was a win-win for both parties, you didn’t want the business and we ended up having a fabulous night else where! If you like being ignored in an empty space and dealing with no customer service awareness, Blue Martini is where it!!
Tons of fun. Live music and friendly service. Drinks were good, not watered down like some places. Cover is $10. The crowd is diverse, but mostly older. The DJ is really good and the place is clean!
I dont know really what can be said about any Blue Martini, they are like a McDonalds youve been in one youve been in them all. The service and the atmosphere is very controlled and consistent, this one is near the beach and always seems lively as it is designed to be. Before 10:30 p.m. expect an older crowd, a band will be playing standards from the 70s and 80s if youre lucky, with a few 90s singles mixed in but otherwise very predictable. DJs typically start with more modern music at 10:30 to flush the boomers out to let a younger crowd in. Very little variants from location to location but this one is good and youll have a great time.
Waitress was very mean and slow, disappeared for half an hour. Had a $25 voucher and she lied to her. I adjusted the tip (i still give her a tip she does not deserve) and today I checked my back account and they charged $20 more than I authorized. Beware of the servers there.
Had a blast.. The live band was amazing. Dont know what the event was the place was packed but with good people.. The bartenders give fast and courteous service. The Long Island is on point.Thank you Blue Martini. For making my birthday enjoyable
Great place , fun with great ambiance, need to have a Martini , enjoy
I had a great time with friends, always nice music, very good band and drinks, I had an excellent night
The food is amazing but I do not like the 45 minutes break From the band. It’s Saturday night there’s no reason for them not to have constant music. The band can take a break but they should have a DJ taking over. This place is for my grandmother. Nobody need a pipi break
My second, and last time here. Service was this bad. Plenty of other nice places, with actually good service. My first time here I caught the bartender using well liquor instead of what I actually ordered and paid for.My second time, the server kept trying to take our drinks away, though they were almost half full, and never apologized about it. She was also nowhere to be found throughout our dining experience, and when she did come around, acted all stuck up.
This place was great. I was with my boyfriend who only looks older than me when we arent that too far apart. So we get judged. I am 26 and people think I am 19 or something so they water my drinks down. Its extremely annoying because Im paying full price for the drink and I expect alcohol. This place didnt judge. They gave me a delicious strong martini and I had a wonderful time. The music was wonderful too. Just a heads up if you are a lady, have a little tip money on you so you can use the perfumes in the restroom.
Great service Stefani was awesome. Good place to hang out with your girlfriend or wife but for a single guy you’re nuts will turn blue.
Like the atmosphere, and i was visiting from Canada, it makes it more enjoyable for me.
Not welcomingAdmission charge is not appropriate for this venue even though the reputation accepts this. Cost of drinks is high as well. Its tough to pay to go into a place and then find Its not for you.Bar doesnt have a variety of offerings. Some of the more exotic drinks are there, but other ordinary offerings are not.Entertainment was very good, however.
My boyfriend and I were visiting from Toronto and came to the Blue Martni on a Saturday night, we had SOO much fun that we came back the next night! It had everything to do with their staff! We had Kelsey and Samantha that served us both nights and we’re extremely friendly and accommodating - even introduced us to our new favourite shots - Casamigos and passion fruit !Definitely need to mention that their security- Jay and John were extremely professional and polite, most we ever seen! The live music on both nights was fantastic! We can’t wait to come back!!🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Service is an absolute joke here. Took 15 minutes to get service, had a question about a champaigne. Waitress Michelle didnt come back for another 15 minutes just to answer the question. Bacardi and rum came with no lime (tasted aweful without it). But when I asked Michelle for limes she said okay but never came back. I had to go get it myself and she still hasnt come back or even asked to see if me and my family are okay. First and last time here.
OMG, 💯💯💯💯💯. I came three years ago with a very good friend of mine and the place was spectacular. I am returning today and it was a marvelous experience. Food 5 stars, Staff 6 plus, I will truly recommend this wonderful place to receive good food royalty attention.Good 4 u guys.Love the experience and the Beef Tenderloin.Hope to return soon.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Went for a performance one night and it was real good. The food, atmosphere and service was all great. Would go back when if there is not a performance happening.
Service was not my personal favorite.
Food was good, live music great, SERVICE was terrible. Appetizers came with the entrees after waiting for so long. Then had to wait I don’t know how long for dessert and told the waiter to bring the check with it, check took over 30 mins and the restaurant wasn’t busy yet
Looking for a Happy Hour spot.... look no further. Stop in to Blue Martini at the Galleria Mall..... yes I said mall. What a location. If you want a bite to eat their menu is not big in size but surely in bite. The Lobster salad is delightful and the Lamb Chops a must (not a part of Happy Hour) order the anyway.....splurge its worth it. Or if you want a nice sit down come a bit earlier and dine at one of the nicer restaurants next door. Seasons 52, Capital Grille.....and head over for drinks and music at Blue Martini. Perfect on a Sunday very laid back and time left to walk around in the mall. Its a win win situation.
Had a Chamber of Commerce event here recently. Dealing with Kelly to coordinate the event was easy. All in attendance had a great time including myself. The bartenders were excellent and friendly. Happy hour specials were also good.
I must say since Ive been going to Blue Martini Ive never had a bad experience until March 21st. My husband and I walked in and immediately the waitress told us to have a seat any where. We sat and waited about 30 to 40 minutes before we got our drinks which was only 1 round! When she brought us our check she charged us for 2 rounds of drinks! She argued with us telling us we drank 2 rounds. She continued to argue with us until the manager got involved. I asked him to please check the camera. I dont think he ever checked the camera but came back to apologize and only removed 1 drink. Why argue with me about a $112 check?!
Love it there very nice and people friendly
Love this spot. Great live band. DJ plays after midnight and its always great dancing music.. Keeps u moving. Love to dance go have a drink with friends and dance the night away... U wont regret it.
The place has a nice layout and DJ played a good mix of music. The drinks were made promptly once ordered and food came out in short order. I’m a local and it was my first time visiting. I’ll definitely be back.
I went to Blue Martini to celebrate my birthday with a few family/friends. A few things have changed since I been there last. At 5 pm on Friday 8/26/16 most of the tables had reserved on them. We sat at a table that did not have reserved on it and we were quickly informed of the reserved status for this table as well. I was told in order to reserve you must spend $250. (Even the tables that are set up for two.) Happy hour ends at 7 pm instead of 8 pm.I WAS in love with Blue Martini and their live bands on Friday nights. But....my party of 5 (potentially 8 ) was shifted to downtown Hollywood and we had a great time!
Nice place, big, nice stage. Without happy hour, drinks are a bit $$$ costly. No dance floor designation, its wherever...There should be a place sectioned out for dancing. Bands are good, but some r just too focused on one type of music orientation. I like a mix. Not too much Latin.... :-) sorry.
Just your typical upscale bar situated on the mall property. The service was prompt and as expected as was the food and drinks. The pricing is a little bit on the high side but thats what you should expect being attached to the mall. Parking underneath the mall is more than sufficient and makes getting in and out of here quite easy.
Really great customer service !! Visiting from out of town and we had a great experience! The staff is very friendly!! The live band engaged with everyone to make it an enjoyable experience !! The food was great 👍🏽!!The Manager a wonderful lady stopped to check on us -described the different cocktails!! She was awesome !! Cool spot!
THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE IN A NIGHCLUBSaturday, April 2:Me and my partner decided to go to this bar and it was the worst experience I have ever had. The lady who was at the door charged us the entrance Fee when only left 20 minutes for closing (the lady knew that and she continued receiving money until the last minute, I mean she was doing her bussiness until the end, she never mentioned the hour they close) she didn´t give us any notice. we only stayed for 10 minutes, and when we left of course I wanted to claim my money because it seemed unfair to have paid for having been only 10 minutes, and the lady who was outside called a security man and between the two of them they told us that They couldn´t return the money, I told them that it was something unfair and what they told me that they were not interested and that they did not know that the police were gonna pass over there, however that had nothing to do with it because anyway only 30 minutes left and this lady should TOLD US SINCE THE BEGGINING, that they were gonna close very soon, my question is why she did not mention it before paying ??? This was a totally bad night , this is a form of steal besides that the security guy was very rude and disrespectful with me ( the guy had bird, he was tall- and he takes advantage of his cndition as a security man to treat the client badly and does what he wants with people money), and I felt so disappointed. for me it is very important the service and this one was the worst in all of Miami.
Nice atmosphere. Ive been going for years. However, on my last visit ( last week) I learned that the happy hour ends a hour earlier now. Also, They ran out of the ingredients for my cocktail ( it was only 6pm) and the crab cakes arent made with the lump crab meat like the other blue martinis Ive visited. Wasnt pleased about my visit.
We love Blue Martini, our favorite destination!! The people are great. Unfortunately, last night at latin night was not a good experience. A big portion of tables were sitting empty with “reserve” signs for hours. Instead we had to watch band standing up. The coke was flat. We’ll still come back though!!
Great place to have a good time with friends.Staff (Alex, John, Jay, Bruce, Bebe, Miriam, Ali), drinks, ambiance, music is also great!I also like the way Blue Martini takes care of its staff by trying to keep everyone employed during the slow season....you can tell I am a frequent flyer there :)
Ok. Menu has changed. Limited for happy hour. Band was ok. They seemed to be having mic volume issues all night. Music was louder than singers. Valet shut down promptly at midnight with message to pick up keys next business day. Waitress was slow. Couldnt find her most times.
Great location, great drinks. Cool atmosphere. Its was never super hype during any of our visits , but we were there for the drinks. Peach-raspberry mojito, yum. Sis had the red sangria. Top notch!
The band Extasy was absolutely AMAZING!! They played the best hits, such a great atmosphere and energy. The best night at Blue Martini ever!!! Wish they could be open later than 2 AM :(
I adore this place. Classy, chill with fantastic drinks. If you are a single man, great place to frequent.
A lot if older men. I felt uncomfortable when i walked up to the bar. I was with my friend and her and I were with trying to order a drink and we felt bombarded by the theOther patrons at the bar. We quickly ordered our drinks and tried to duck out in the corner. The only thing that made the visit enjoyable was a cute bartender who made my and my friends night.
After having been to the Blue Martini in Kendall, this doesnt quite rank as high in terms of music selection. Its a bit smaller too. But on the plus side, the drinks are great and I enjoyed the live music on Saturday night!
So, I live off Las Olas and usually hit the spots in walking distance Yolo, Eddie Vs, American Social, etc. My sister lives in Naples, FL and took me to Blue Martini out there and I had a great time. My girlfriend and I decided to invite another couple and try out the one in Fort Lauderdale. Let me be clear the atmosphere, security and everything was 5 stars! The only reason for 1 star is the waitress Genesis she is the most incompetent waitress I have ever meet! Its one thing to take forever to check on your customers but, waiting all the time to get brought the wrong order is unacceptable. Her blase attitude really reflected she doesnt like working there or doesnt need the job. Blue Martini do this location and your brand a favor by letting her go and taking her attitude elsewhere. Ill come back in a heartbeat once shes gone until than Ill spend my money somewhere else.
Great ambience! Was there on a Sat and they had live music. Fantastic job. They sang mix of soft rock 80s 90s and some modern. Get there early if you want a seat.
Visited @BlueMartiniFTL for dinner with 3 other couples. Before we could order dinner, they wanted to hold a credit card. Understandable for drinks, but for dinner? Had a conversation with the manager about it, and he said that is their normal practice. We asked patrons at several other tables, and no one else was asked to do this. I hung around and watched servers greet other patrons and none of them took credit cards from them before taking their orders.
Run down... over priced...+live music
