Good vibes, Flor Angel is a great stylist. I also got a pedicure two weeks prior to my hair appointment date. The columbian lady, idr her name did a phenomenal job at getting a 2 week + pedicure without ANY chips. My grandma got a Swedish massage with Gloria and she absolutely loved it! Everyone is super nice and the place is very clean and aesthetically pleasing.
Great local spa with tons of services. Very clean & zen and the staff are all very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend the Loofah Body Scrub, Medly Massage, and Hydra Facial all are great services. Prices are moderate, and service is top tier. Perfect for a dat night, Borthday, or simply just to relax amd refresh. Oh, and they have a salt room, which is amazing as well. They have lots of package options, gift cards, or al cart services. Try them out you wont be dissappointed!
I was visiting our daughter in Florida and we came here for massages. I had the 80 minute Hot Stones massage. I had Sara and she was great! I can honestly say it was the best massage I have ever had. I’ve had many massages over the years and non compared.My daughter had the Medley massage and she also said it was great!
This is only a 4 star just because I was never made aware of the gratuity that was charged before our services. $80 was a lot, but I loved the staff. NANCY checked us in she got us our complementary champagne for our 14th yr anniversary. Nancy was very sweet she took our pictures and then sent them to me. This was my husbands first time at Contour, and he loved just like I have always loved it. Cant wait to do this again soon. Thank you to all the beautiful ppl at Contour for making this a special day. 💖
I totally LOVE this place! I have been going for years and what keeps bringing me back is the great service I always get from Nancy! Shes absolutely AWESOME! I have planned different parties here, one for my Runners Group leadership team with over 30 people! (Largetsvparty theyve had yet) and it was wonderful! I have had other smaller parties as well for sisters and friends bdays or mothers day, and Nancy always makes me/us feel welcome! She goes above and beyond, always going the extra mile to make us feel pampered and special, and I think shes a wonderful asset for Contour Spa! Thank you Nancy for always being so wonderful! Cant wait to come back with more friends! :)
On Sunday, 3rd September, I visited Contour Day Spa expecting a spa experience; I left that day feeling as if I went to heaven and back. I was treated by Maya (practically an angel) for several complaints, including sciatica pains. I felt entirely healed... the treated was amazing and professionally rendered, I couldnt have asked for more.After the treatment, I experienced a very welcoming team who further treated me to other areas of treatment. This includes the very clean and classy wet-room; I utilized the steam-room and hottub. It was out-this-world.I believe that Contour Day Spa is an asset to the Fort Lauderdale area that aught to be glorified. Its such a beautiful place, awesome staff, especially Maya, with the touch of an angel.I never met Ms. Fanit, but I felt her presence in the beauty and comforts of the spa.I highly recommend Contour Day Spa to residence and visitors alike, Ill do it again and again.
We were visiting family and had a spa day as a birthday treat for my mum. We had mani pedi by Isabel, Jackie, Fran and Carolina, all fantastic. We also had massages/reflexology. I cant remember the other names, but I had Gina, and she was fabulous. The ladies who helped my mum and aunt were great, sorry I cant remember their names now. Thank you all.
The service provider was great. I purchased a spa package for my Moms birthday. The front desk and support staff were not very courteous nor helpful. It was her first time there, and she didnt know where in the building her service was being rendered, the check in person was missing and she had no direction or guidance of where to go or what to do. No explanation nor did anyone speak with her to set expectations. Hopefully management can address this quickly.
This is my first massage here at Contour Day Spa and thank god I was assigned to Maya. Maya is a body therapist who has been doing various massage techniques for 20 years. Her hands, technique and knowledge was truly unbelievable. I can say in 50 minutes she hit the spots head to toy. I left feeling relaxed, flexible and amazing. The spa is very nice and she showed me their sauna room too.
I had the most amazing experience with Isabel Chavez when I received my loofah treatment.I also loved my bronzing treatment done by Carolina. She really took her time and made sure my color was perfect.Highly recommended!!!!
Went in for couples massage and facial, had Sarah for the massage and Angie for the Facial. Both were absolutely amazing. Sarah was able to nearly immediately find all of my knots and trouble spots and Angie spent every moment of the facial on it.My girlfriend had Arthur and Gabrielle and both did perfect by her too. She is used to asking for deep tissue and getting something light but got exactly what she asked for this time and was VERY happy. We would highly recommend the experience.
Pretty poor service from start to finish, had the guest service person walk away to assist someone as I was checking in. Booked with a specific person, it was not honored and I was given someone different. When requesting to change to the person who the booking was made with, I was not given an answer to why it was someone different. the overall massage service was lacking (no pressure, little use of hot stones, no way to review the service you were provided) and not worth the money nor experience as a person of color.
Booked a massage on my birthday 05/27/2024 and I must say it’s was the worst massage I have gotten ever …. For some one who worked and provide services in a spa on the islands for over 10 years in the field for over 30 years I must say the service for me was not Woow …. I paid 145$ including gratuity for a deep tissue and the lady, Nicky!!! I think her name, was there just rubbing me down with Swedish massage… Marcia was the person I booked for next thing I know they give me Nicky… it was the worst birthday experience ever……staff need to be trained on how to handle new clients…. Always trying to find a good spot for my spa service but naaaaah

I had a massage with Sarah. Hands down the best massage I had in my life!! I never been so relaxed. The pressure points were amazing and she was very attentive when working on me.
The place isn’t what it used to be. I gave three stars mainly because of the poor customer service, they lack professionalism, and the entire place needs an upgrade. Over time it has gone from upscale and reasonably priced to a quickie mart spa. Now, they are making upgrades, but they first need to upgrade the staff whose doing the work and ordering new robes. But if you just need a service or two, it’s fair. I strongly recommend the bath tub experience and bring your own robe!Don’t say I didn’t tell you so!
If I could give my experience 0 stars I would.I visited this past weekend with a scheduled facial. I had called to book a hydrafacial, however the service I received was not that.The esthetician was very nice, however I had no idea what was happening during the entirety of this so called “hydrafacial”. She began manually extracting my face without the use of the machine and proceeded without ever beginning a hydrafacial service. After some time I mentioned to her “I scheduled a hydrafacial” (which was a known fact) and she told me that she felt she should extract my face and didn’t want to use the machine since she had made the extractions-even though this was the original service I paid for and requested. During this time her phone kept going off during what was supposed to be a peaceful experience which made me uncomfortable and on edge. She made decisions without ever giving an explanation of what she was doing. I also noticed that the women’s changing room was not the cleanest, the main sink faucet had been dripping with pink mold which looked like it had been there for some time. Another thing to note is that gratuity is included BEFORE the service when you pay. Needless to say, I’m highly disappointed and do not recommend this place to anyone.
Worst place ever. I booked on their site for a pedicure at a certain time they had available and I paid for it on the site. I then was driving to the place I got a call from them saying they don’t have that appointment time anymore. How screwed can a business be? Everyone I behoove you to not go there as they are trash.
I just left this spa. While my massage fro Rickie was awesome 👌I cannot say the same for my facial. I paid 150 dollars for a 90 minute DEEP cleaning facial. I was done 40 minutes early with very obvious black head extractions not done. Im not sure why since she clearly had more than ample time.
Me and girlfriend came here for Valentine’s Day and it was lovely. We had a VIP room and had massages by Robin and Maribel. All the staff treated us Amazing! And they even threw in the hot tub. Thank you so much for making our day special.

I had a very good experience here. I was serviced by Amanda and she was very friendly, professional, and she explained every step of the dip powder process. I asked her to follow my natural shape and keep the length I had and she did just that. She even suggested a color that surpassed what I was looking for when I could not really find the one I wanted. The prices are even reasonable for such a nice place. I will be back. I LOVE my dip nails. It was my first time getting them and I had the best experience. If you come here, ask for Amanda. She’s awesome.
OMG!!! Im so spoiled by a full service spa Id frequent, back home. Ive been searching for a replacement, because catching a flight just for a decent day at the spa is out of the question right now. I came at the 11th hour. Starting with something simple, the full body scrub. It was amazing!!! Carolina, took her time and was gentle. When most places treat you like a slab of meat...lol. Here in Florida, taking baths can take you back to Biology class!!! I miss soaking in the tub, but I dont trust the water like that. However, this scrub along with the sauna and steam room was worth every dime!!! Theres an affordable monthly membership that is perfect for keeping a good balance in life. Highly recommended!!! Superb!
This was my first time at the spa and it was wonderful. Isabel was very attentive and very sweet, she took very good care of me and made sure I had a great service. She was very wonderful and I cant wait to come back again
I purchased the Garden of Eden treatment for my birthday. It is very intimate spa treatment. I called ahead to see if I should be nude or should I wear a swim suit. I was told to wear a swim suit. Check in was great. I received 10% off of services because it was my actual birthday when I received my treatment. Once I went upstairs I was told to change my clothes and there was some minor confusion on what I should be doing next. Carolina Pina was my masseuse. She was absolutely amazing during this 3-hour treatment. She preferred that I have minimal clothes on so I just wore my bottoms and everything about this treatment was so amazing. She was so gentle. I felt super comfortable and she asked me periodically if I was comfortable. I wish I could have made a tictok of my experience and the facilities because they deserve the notoriety. This package was amazing. I wish I could do it monthly. I will never go to anyone other than Carolina Pina. The only critique that I have is that the facility is a bit dated. Other than that its clean. It smells good and the service was amazing!! Ill definitely be back before my birthday. At minimum, I will be back to have a facial with Carolina Pina.
Abysmal, subpar performance accentuated by unprofessional, unapologetic conduct, several inept staff and a lackadaisical attitude to COVID-19 with respect to wearing masks consistently whilst on premises. This is de facto ‘wanna-be’ luxury. Contour, despite attempts to create an image of luxury is, in reality, not superior to any other spa. Due to location convenience and my own laziness, added to my desire to receive services at an establishment where most employees speak clearly and have a command of the English language, I have been a repeat customer spending hundreds of dollars over the stretch of 10+ years. This loyalty is completely lost on the owner who apparently has no understanding of the concept of customer lifetime value. My 5/18/2020 pedicure was pitiful: The chatty nail tech ‘Brenda’ was unable to understand a basic request to not cut my cuticle rim and instead push back and remove dead skin on the nail. This is not rocket science and I’ve had this done at the very same spa with other staff with expected results. Instead Brenda was passive-aggressive, seemed confused with next steps, advised I either cut your cuticle or not, was asking me questions she should know the answers to regarding how to execute the pedicure whilst proclaiming to be an expert who knows what she’s doing and who doesn’t need micromanaging. Although I requested in plain English for her to 1: Respect that I’m multitasking and have a preference to forgo the small talk 2: Not cut the cuticle rim with her cuticle clipper as aforementioned, she continually engaged me in discussion, asked intrusive questions like if I have diabetes (if I ask you not to cut my cuticle rim I dont expect to justify to you why), interrupted her colleague Amanda to ask for historical information about my pedicure (this despite the fact that Amanda was with a client) and demonstrated conduct unbecoming by making sarcastic remarks with respect to removing dead skin from my feet. Such comments included: ‘I can’t work miracles’ and ‘I put some elbow grease in it’ etc. Heres an idea: Do your job -I am a paying customer. Side note on that cuticle clipper – I was appalled at the rust on the cuticle clipper Brenda presented. Surprised at this presentation of rusty tools, I asked her about it and her reply was that the tool is OK however it is the autoclave that makes it rusty. Thankfully, before beginning service, she did return with a rust-free cuticle clipper. Upon deciding to cancel another service I had scheduled and checking out, I saw Fanit, the owner, in the foyer -her mask was drawn down to her neck i.e. not covering her nose and mouth which is ironic as Contour just reopened under health and safety guidelines including requirements that customers wear masks. After our eyes made four, she eventually pulled up her mask (earlier I had also seen an employee walking around the salon with her mask pulled down off her face). Within the hour I sent an e-mail request that she contact me via phone and attached photos of my feet for her review; her e-mail response to me was as follows: “Received, thank you. Dear Miss ******, I like to recommend that you see a foot doctor. I believe that a foot doctor will be able and allowed to go deeper with your calluses. DPR - allows Salons and Spas to do just so much with the implements that we are allowed to use. A doctor will be able to use implements that will allow deeper penetration. God bless and stay well, Fanit”. So apparently the owner has a medical degree because that is the only reason I can fathom to explain her idea to tell me that I need to see a foot doctor. Completely out of line and almost comical. Finally, perhaps some diversity training would be wise as I am left to wonder if insidious responses would have been doled out to a paying customer with less melanin. Contour has had snafus before at all touchpoints from the call agents to onsite service issues. However, this recent experience deserves this post and the salon has no response after more than 48 hours opportunity. A disgrace.
Beautiful facility.. However, for the amount of money (gratuity included). Which is paid prior to services received. The staff is very isnt attentive towards clients needs, creating an non-relaxing spa experience. I feel, that if gratuity was collected after the services. The staff would put more effort and energy into the client services.
I do not recommend going there. I booked a 12 pm massage appointment for my husband on his birthday. They said they couldnt find his reservation and asked him to return at 4 pm. I spoke to a manager named Nancy and she said they turned him away because they assigned him a male therapist, and I specifically requested a female therapist online. Their lack of empathy, professionalism, or help was apparent. I made an immediate request for a refund. Worse decision ever to choose them for my husbands relaxation day. I picked them based on reviews, but I experienced the complete opposite!

My husband and I came here for a couples massage. Mya was very accommodating, explained certain things along the way, and made sure I was comfortable. Carolina was the massage therapist for my husband and he thoroughly enjoyed his massage. The steam room and sauna were great. We will definitely be back.
Went with 2 of my friends on 10/4/23 and we all enjoyed our time. Clea did my facial and I enjoyed every moment of it, she also massaged my arms and hands which I really needed since I type a lot. The receptionist gave us a tour of the facility and what I appreciated most was how clean each area was. The entire environment was very calming and smelled nice. I will definitely be back.
I have been to this establishment numerous times for massages, but to be honest, I have never committed for a membership because I have never been impressed by any of the massages that I have had here… until now. Sara is an incredible massage. Therapist who focuses on areas of concern. She was very attentive to my needs, and made sure that I was satisfied with everything that I was in need of. I highly recommend getting a massage from her!As far as the establishment itself, I feel that the decor is a little outdated, and should be renovated
Was easy to get an appointment for dip nails, the inside is a bit dated and run down and the employees dont seem to be happy with each other which usually means you have some awkward conversations but over all not horrible.

Very nice atmosphere and clean. Service is wonderful. A little pricey, but worth it. I wasn’t expecting to be charged a 20% gratuity before I had my service. I don’t feel I should be forced to leave a certain amount. Other than that it was very nice.
Contour spa is the only spa that I go to they always provide exceptional service. My masseuse for the day was Carolina which did an awesome job. I was alittle disappointed as my massage was scheduled for 10am it did not start until after 10:30 because the person I was actually scheduled with was running late. I was informed with this information and given the option to use the sauna in the meantime until the person showed up.
This was my first time here. I booked a deep tissue massage. Maya is a godsend! I haven’t had a massage in over 10 years and she made me feel so comfortable. She communicated well with me, but also allowed me to relax in silence too. It was the perfect balance. Maya spoiled me and is the perfect example of amazing customer service. I will be back here because of her.
Was gifted this spa treatment from my aunt. Very elegant spa, it consists of: salt therapy, Swedish massage, saunas and many more treatments. I personally got the Swedish massage, manicure and pedicure.They sell cosmetic products as well.Staff are pretty nice, warm and welcoming for the most part. The technician that did my manicure, at first, was very short, very vague about other services and dry. Later, however she warmed up and was nicer. Otherwise, it was an overall enjoyable experience for some ‘me time’ to look and feel pretty.
I visited just this last week to have my first colonic and had a wonderful experience for a service that may otherwise not be the most pleasant when thought about. My technician Gina was very gentle, soft spoken and professional. She helped sooth my anxiety and brought me calmness as she walked me through what to expect at ever step of the service. It was a pleasant experience and I now I look forward to continuing the service regularly.

Can’t recommend Maya enough for massages! She targets the muscles, and knows what she’s doing to get long term benefits, and also keeps it relaxing. Writing on behalf of my mother. She did not have the best experience. She received a gift certificate as a Christmas gift and was excited about going. The facility was old and needs a remodel. She waited 40 mins just soaking her feet before someone actually started working on her feet. The nail technician assigned to her did not know what she was doing. She kept stoppin to ask for instructions on how to perform a pedicure. Her pedicure did not come out how she expected and was only offered for her to come back. She went back the next day and was only given a polish change. Will not be returning.
Contour day spa what a RIP OFF! I did a Colonic about two weeks ago and it went well. I was told by my tech that for best results I should have another one done in two weeks OK no issues…. She also said because it’s a follow up service it would be $75 instead of the regular $99. Great! Now I am here for my follow up and I pay my $75 but they want me to pay Gratuity off of the. Regular charge. I am not happy about that and they are a big rip off. Needless to say I won’t be back.Editing my reviewing because I wanted to respond to the so called owner , response to my review. First off you say shame on me ? NO shame on you CONTOUR DAY SPA! When a customer has concerns about business practices the response should not be that of a dismissive tone ( Business Etiquette 101). Secondly where is it written that gratuity is paid on the original price ? Thirdly I don’t care if it’s ONE penny , it’s my hard earned penny! If I was $4 short my service would have been denied , so please let’s not go there. I just want to make this clear , the services I received was great and the technicians are wonderful so I don’t want people to think otherwise. It’s just the shady business practice and the non-regard for customer service by MANAGEMENT that I have an issue with.

My sister in law booked a girls day (4 people in total ) . And when I say we all had an amazing time ! We was welcomed with 2 bottles of champagne. Staff was amazing and accommodating! I had Isabella and loved her ! We had the 90 minutes lavender body soothing , hand and foot reflexology with full body buff with a full body Swedish massage. Also had the 90 minutes facial . I would for sure recommend and will for sure be coming back
I’ve been in desperate need of a massage. I decided to finally use a gift card I had received for my birthday this month. I called in made in appt. for the day of & was accommodated immediately by a very friendly gentleman. It was my first time here so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but based on the reviews I had read I wasn’t too worried. I booked a 50 minute hot stone massage with Robin Alexander. She was AMAZING!! I let her know the areas I had been feeling discomfort & wow did she put in the work. She was extremely professional & knowledgeable. 40 years of experience, I knew I was in the right hands. It was so relaxing & once she was finished I didn’t even want to go out into the real world. I highly recommend Robin & this entire spa. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with warm & welcoming smiles. Everyone you encounter is extremely courteous & helpful. 10/10. Keep it up Contour Day Spa!! Our department had a wellness day and decided to have a spa day at Contour Day Spa. Our experience beginning with reserving a group of 5 for a pampering session to being warmly welcomed by the staff was simply put, amazing. We were treated like family and everyone had a wonderful time. We cannot wait for our next wellness event so that we can enjoy all the amenities that Contour Day Spa has to offer. Highly recommend!
It was my first time at CDS. I booked an 80 minute massage medley which started 15 mins late.I wasn’t given the time back.The ladies upstairs couldn’t find my paper after I had just handed it to them and then I was asked if I wanted to change into a robe after sitting and waiting for 20 minutes. Wouldn’t I need to change for the service I’m getting?My masseuse Ricky was nice but there was no discussion beforehand on any areas of concern that I may have or the amount of pressure I wanted. For $200 I expected so much more from a spa.I will sample other services but will not return for massage.

I received a gift card from my husband for my birthday to Contour Day Spa. The services included Loofah Body Exfoliation and Seaweed Body Wrap,Swedish full body massage and a hydration facial treatment. All I can say is Wow!! I received services from Isabel Chavez for the Exfoliation and Body Wrap and she was phenomenal. Highly professional and made me feel very comfortable in my own skin. The full body Swedish massage and facial was great. It was performed by Joey Sue Buxton. She asked all the right questions and did the massage with the right amount of pressure focusing on trouble areas. The facial treatment was done with really nice organic products. The facilities are super serene and very well maintained. My services began at 1:45pm and were complete by 5:45pm. Total relaxation. This is a must do when needing a day to yourself just to be pampered.There is no way you can leave this place angry or on edge. Definitely will do this again.

Such an amazing experience for my birthday!! I was surprised with a spa day and I loved every moment of it. I started off with a Deep Tissue Massage and that was phenomenal. My body feels brand new. Also , I experienced the loofah body scrub by Isabel. She was accommodating and such a sweet person. The detoxification from that treatment was everything. We sat in the Salt Room for some Salt Therapy and that actually made a difference with my horrible sinuses . The jacuzzi experience was so great! I throughly enjoyed the complimentary steam room and sauna room more than anything.On top of everything, we were equipped with a tasty champagne bottle. I must say I enjoyed my birthday! One of the best birthdays ever and a spa day was so needed.

First time at Contour Day Spa, Plantation....great atmosphere, courteous staff and the 80 mins Meadley Therapeutic Massage given by Maya was to die for...her hands were magic....All in all the experience was heavenly....you can have everything done here, from your hair, face, nails and body, really a one stop. Book a day and just rotate for the service. Sorry, no photos, was too busy enjoying my experience. Maybe next time....
I booked a appointment for Mother’s Day with this company for my wife to relax!! Upon booking an appointment I told them a woman masseuse upon confirming appointment. They even asked me again if I wanted a woman or male and told them again that I wanted a woman to do her massage.. when she got there the whole experience wasn’t good and didn’t give her the female masseuse!! as requested, and when I called to make a certain complaint about the male masseuse that she was given the service that was requested… The young lady over the phone gave me attitude. After talking with her for a few moments about my concerns, she seem like she didn’t care and was interrogating me on who, and what, I told her to give me her managers name she hesitated on giving me the name after a few times of asking her she refuse to give me managers name, after conversation escalated she then gave me her name she is very rude as well!! my girl as said the place was very dirty The male masseuse was very rough when giving a massage, too much oil and when she told him light pressure nothing changed this place overall is terrible. I will be asking for a refund. She was supposed to enjoy her Mother’s Day gift not let it be ruined the bad customer service, and terrible services.
Isabel was wonderful!!! She performed my massage and facial. I felt as though I was floating when I left, didn’t want to leave she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She’s very professional and educated. To top it off her facial products are amazing!!! I will definitely rebook with her next month. ❤️
I love people working there. Specially Fran that does my nails last 8 yrs. Unfortunately last Saturday I was very dissapointed with some INTERIOR changes I saw. The place looks like no one is planning decor. Now walls are going up so more spaces are created. Employees are sitting on top of each other. No room to breathe. Easy, cheap interior fixes. I do not like that...money is not everything. If you do interior changes - hire professionals...but I love Fran, Jackie everyone there. Great people ♡
How does one thank the contour day spa and most of all your Nancy. Last month i purchased a gift for my fathers 81st birthday. When he made his appointment there was some miscommunication at first. I then personally askef to speak to the manager nancy . I was a customer that was extremely saddened because i just wanted my dads 81st birthday to be special besides the last few years were very trying on our family. The moment i spoke to Nancy she completely put my heart and mind at ease! She is beyond a asset to the company and should be recognized as a employee whom really truly cares for her job and her customers! She went above and beyond to make me happy but most of all my dad! My dad was there today,he immediately called me after the treatments and could not stop talking about the amazing and well needed rest he had!!! How do i ever thank the staff and most of all Nancy for making a unhappy customer want to come back and tell everyone about the contour day spa. I just visited this spa with a group of women and the service we received from Yony and Nancy was phenomenal! The steam room smelled amazing and the sauna was also just right. I spent an hour in the whirlpool tub simply relaxing and really enjoyed the salt room as well. My friends had massauges and said they were the absolute best! I would come back again and you should too.

I really enjoy coming here for massages! The place is large and clean and has a lot of amenities. Before and after my massage, I am able to relax in a sauna or steam room. They provide soft robes and flip flops as well. The massage itself is amazing and I leave feeling super relaxed. Robin is my favorite for massages. I would definitely recommend!

Contour is the best place for facials! Today, I had a facial with Isabel Chavez and the experience was amazing, she explained me how to care care of my skin, she gave me the best facial ever and she even make recommendations to keep my skin at its best, she is kind, knowledgeable and super nice!
I went on Sunday with my mom for a mothers daughter day and I can’t even explain the experience I had at this place. Let alone the price! Can’t beat it! Not only is this place very friendly and clean but they treat you like family, everyone you came across that worked there made you feel at home and more ! Abby and her mom that work there are the cutest people ever! Reminds me of the bond my mom and I have. And I made another new best friend with Kym my nail lady, nothing but good things to say about this place !! Definitely recommended!

I love Contour, weve been using it occasionally for years. Lately, weve started to go more frequently. Its always been great. Recently, I splurged on a big package for me and 3 guests and the day was not 100% perfect--it was okay, but not up to par for Contour. I mentioned it to a manager and they bent over backwards to make it up to us. They handled the whole situation professionally and we returned a couple a months later for a similar package--and that time everything went off perfectly. By the time we left, my family were saying that we should do this once a month. The massages are wonderful and the facials are so good. I love the jacuzzi tub soak as an addition to the massage. My family isnt too crazy about saunas but when my husband and I go, we always take advantage of the free access to Sauna. The bottom line is that the technicians are skilled and you will leave there feeling so refreshed! The staff/managers of Contour are also committed to making the experience perfect, and I think that is worth so much! Its nice when a place is truly invested in its clients. Definitely give it a try!
As a birthday treat for my daughter, I booked an afternoon of treatments to begin with massage, facial, brow wax (complimentary), mani/pedi. Each treatment was carefully scheduled so that we would be out by around 5 (we arrived for 1:15).The ambience wasnt as I remembered, but it was some years since I was last at Contour. We were welcomed efficiently and asked to pay upfront. We were then escorted upstairs and were greeted to begin our afternoon of relaxation. We were asked if we wanted robes (seemed odd question) and were then each handed a crumpled robe and told to choose from a pile of Old Navy type flipflops on the floor. Who knows whether these had been cleaned or sterilized. At least put them in individual bags with size labels. Pretty tacky, we thought.The massage was great and our facials and brow wax were too. At this point, going forward, it all went rather haywire!After being told that we would be together for our mani/pedis, the technician assigned to me came upstairs, visibly shaking and upset after having dealt with a rude and unsatisfied client prior to me. She calmed down and was nice enough, although still very upset. She started my pedicure in the upstairs area, which was nice and quiet. My daughter was waiting on her technician to arrive. Next thing I know, she has been taken downstairs and told to wait. Her technician was far from finished with her current client. Apparently, overbooking and upset clients is not unusual.... When I commented that the whole point of this is that we were to be together, I was then taken downstairs to the busy manicure area and also had to wait. It was chaos. The chair I sat in for my pedicure was broken, there seemed to be no management coordination or oversight. When I mentioned it to the man at the desk, he apologized but didnt seem concerned at all.Contour used to be such a treat - it was relaxing, professional and everything used to be kept to the highest standards of service and cleanliness - that was a long, long time ago and Contour is now well past its heyday and is just a fading version of what it used to be. No reflection on my facial person at all, but youre also paying for the experience and I paid a lot of money for this afternoon. We ended up being 45 minutes late for no good reason other than their mess up. I ended up being more stressed than when Id arrived. I wish Id spent that little bit more and gone to ME Spa in Pembroke Pines.
I am rating Contour Day Spa 5 stars on Service. They are not the fanciest spa available but they do have a friendly helpful staff and all the amenities as any other spa for less money. Check out their monthly specials before booking! I especially wanted to mention Cordell who is a multi tasking Wonder Woman. She answers the phone. Books appointments. Takes you to the locker room and spa room and is just an all around sweetheart! Shout out to Isabelle and Sara for their services. If you are shy.. bring a bathing suit.. as some parts of the spa are co-ed.
Contour Day Spa was as clean & professional as it’s always been. Went in for a pedicure and Amanda did a great job! The facility was sanitized, masks were required & worn by staff & clients and to my knowledge, all safety precautions were in place. 5 star experience as always.Update: Another fantastic massage with Maribel. Always friendly greeting & check-in upon arrival. Can’t wait to go back.Had an amazing massage by Maia. Professional, knowledgeable & just an amazingly relaxing experience.
I received a Hydra-facial from Joey. She was gentle and professional. The aromas were fantastic and the music set the tone for a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. My skin feels amazing! Yani was at the check in and was super helpful. Will be returning for another service!
I had a deep tissue massage and a dip manicure at Contour Day Spa. The massage was fantastic and I highly recommend them for one.The dip manicure was a not so great experience. I had requested wanted a french dip manicure when I booked, but the manicurist could only do color when I sat down.. I settled for that given no other option. There seemed to be a lot of drama going on at the salon and my person was not particularly friendly. It also took a really long time to get done.
I recently received a gift card for my birthday for Contour, so I booked a European Facial and Massage. I had the same technician for both services. There was a lot of downtime and the person was not very skilled at massage. Based on just the service alone I would’ve given it 2 stars: however, I experienced something quite traumatic while receiving the services. The technician asked me for my medical history which I provided, and during the service she stated, “you know you have a beautiful face, but you should lose some weight. Like through a doctor or something.” I was there to relax, and be pampered, but instead I left there crying. I suffer from arthritis and lymphedema and I recently underwent 2 back surgeries which was disclosed to the therapist. These comments were extremely unprofessional and unethical. As I laid on the table half naked, it was not the time or place to discuss my body image. I was in a very vulnerable state and she was completely insensitive. I haven’t been to contour in years and only went because I had the gift card. I will not be returning. The manager offered a return service of just the massage or a refund on the money I put in addition to the gift card. The entire service should’ve been refunded. I am very disappointed in their customer service and their lack of training they provide to their employees.There are many inaccuracies in the response from the owner. Yes. I had a headache…so why would I talk at great length. Furthermore, I had the massage first and then the facial. My review stands and I will not be bullied into removing it. As you can tell by their response, they are trying to justify the mistreatment I received. A massage therapist holds a license from the department of health and must consider their clients medical history prior to any service. This is gaslighting at its finest! Buyer beware! Stay away from this establishment.
My visit was made exceptionally well by the woman who did my nails. It was Sunday night and I walked in at the last minute and she still took her time and did an incredible job. I wish I could remember her name but she did my pedicure and manicure upstairs at 6:30 on Sunday night. The experience honestly was made exceptional due to her. Contour is always a great experience. It is way above and beyond any other place with similar services!!
The staff and my relaxation massage were great! The facility looks clean and well kept with a variety of services. 4 stars because I had to reschedule my appointment because I wasnt in the system after signing up through a third party. I wasted my time by driving there when I was all excited for my massage. If you offer services through a third party, its in your best interest to make sure those reservations are honored. Glad I came back for my massage, all things considered.

I had a microdermabrasion facial with Isabel. She is excellent! She’s very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile for her clients.I have done facials before and notice that other estheticians don’t usually put the mask in the neck area. Isabel did this without me having to ask her. When I mentioned this to her, she said “I like to treat my clients like I treat myself” That’s exactly what I like to hear from my esthetician.
Horrible service if you are a black woman don’t go they mistreat you and treat you indifferent. My sisters and I got my mom a spa day for her birthday and the ladies there basically treated her like she was stealing the services and kept lying about what we paid for when we paid extra for the more “high end” services like the sugar foot scrub they’d try to say we didn’t pay for the services until we proved to them: NO MATTER WHAT COLOR YOU ARE YOU DESERVE A PAMPER DAY, Do not come here if you want fair play.
I was a stylist here for 12 years and moved out of state. Every year when I come to visit family I get off the plane and head to the spa first. Not only do I enjoy visiting with my friends and Fanit, the services have always been top notch. I wait to come home to get my hair done by the best and my facials and massages. I’ve traveled the world in the past 17 years and Contour is still my go to. Highly recommend ❤️
I went for a massage and the sauna is free with massage. Amazing combo, and the second time, I got a glycolic pedicure, and reflexology. Im a hairdresser at another salon, I been doing hair for a while, and Im happy with the service, have alot of issues with my feet in terms of pain, I been in a car accident and plus Im on my feet long period of time, I work like crazy, sometimes 10 days straight or more ,not sure if is the time i spend on my feet that make the calluses come back so fast ,I have no fungus and my feet are clean, i spend alot of money on pedicures that never helped me with the up keep, my foot feels like is healing beautiful,I really needed the reflexology, and Im able to keep my feet soft after a week of treatment, the girl that did my pedicure did good and gave good advice, and I wish I knew her name, to me everyone was nice, bring your own sandles and robes. My favorite place so far and prices are good and reasonable

I havent gone anywhere else since. Donna is not only the best there is in color, cut and style but I now consider her a friend! I am grateful that my daughter bought me a mothers day gift certificate that day many years ago... I have enjoyed many aspects of the spa and nail services over the years. All perform their service with a pleasant attitude and proficiency. Now with the challenges of the pandemic, Contour Day Spa has demonstrated thorough policies and procedures to keep guests and staff safe! This is the place to get all your personal beauty needs met withstand resturaunt to boot. And I see that their banquet facilities are lovely too!
I had an appoint at the salon on 2/12/22 at noon. I had a powder/dip manicure; the nail tech was on her phone during the entire appointment. Doesn’t management have guidelines/rules? She was ver unprofessional. I then had a pedicure with a different nail tech. She was pleasant but used files that had been used previously (not sanitary at all). My final treatment was a 90 minute message with a gentleman that was blind. I didn’t have a problem with his disability, but I would have liked to have known in advance. The overall appearance of the salon was not up to previous standards. I use to look forward to going there, not any more. My visit was paid for by a gift card and I feel as though I was treated differently.

I had Kimberly as my nail technician and she was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I wasn’t sure what I wanted for Christmas and I showed her some pictures of ideas and she did EXACTLY what I showed her. I am very grateful and appreciative that I had Kimberly as my nail technician. The spa staff was very professional, accommodating, courteous, and friendly. I will definitely be returning to the spa for future services. Thank you Kimberly for EVERYTHING… my beautiful nails, putting a smile on my face, and making me laugh!!!
I’ve been coming here off and on for 15 years. The massages have always been very good. They have monthly specials that help make them affordable. I do feel pampered for the price. I get a robe and a locker, and then I get my service. They could make the spa experience better by using better lighting, relaxing music, offering fruit infused water or tea. I did get a bottle of water after my massage. Chanel was great and I really enjoyed my massage. It last 30 minutes but felt longer in a good way. Also got the scrub - it felt great and even though I enjoyed it, it was very quick. It was the special, which was an hour but I guess it was more like 15 minutes scrub and 45 minutes steam and sit around. Still, enjoyed my time and felt good afterwards for a good price.
Amazing place, very nice staff, very professionals. The only thing I would like to point its the robes, they look old and stained. I didnt want to wear something that looks dirty even if they are clean. But the good part on that its that once I complained about it the lady brought me a brand new one.
Although they are very professional and courteous there was a lot missing from this experience- music a real spa nurturing feel and the room where I had the treatment was cold. the tech was wonderful and helpful. But after i had the scrub and seaweed treatment there was no lotion for me to treat my skin. or any other niceties in the locker room for my post treatment experience. If you want that luxurious spa feel while getting treatments that are pricey / then this is not the place as that was missing. The overall value was not there.
Maribel was very thoughtful and worked on specific parts of my back that were stiff and in pain. She wasn’t too tough or gentle, and she really helped me alleviate some pain. I’m only giving 4 stars because of the low water pressure in the showers, the lack of towels in the restroom, and because I waited 20 minutes after my appointment time to finally begin my massage. I’ve talked to the owner, and they are very receptive. I also appreciate the kind and thoughtful manager that helped me throughout my day. I’ll be back next month!
I’ve been getting a manicure and pedicure at Contour Day Spa for about eight months. My nail tech is amazing her name is Norma. It has taken me quite some time and many spas to find somebody that I really liked. I made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure 45 days before my brothers wedding. Contour Day Spa texted me, called me and emailed me confirmation that I would be there on that day at that time. Four hours before my appointment I called to say that I don’t believe that would be enough time for her to do both, so I canceled the pedicure portion of my appointment. Confirming again my appointment time. I live about 20 minutes from the spa. As I pulled into the parking lot of Contour Day Spa 20 minutes before my appointment I received a phone call to say that the tech would not be able to take me at my appointed time but indeed she could take me two hours from then. I asked if when I called early this morning to cancel the pedicure did they know that she was running this far behind and I was told yes. So why wasn’t I informed earlier or by text or by email or by phone call that she would be running this late. I was told the reason she was running late is because her customers came in late. So I was on time but I was to suffer for other peoples inconsiderate behavior. I will never go back there because obviously they do not need me as a customer and they do not care or consider other peoples needs. I found the whole situation very stressful, unprofessional, and unnecessary. I work very hard for my money I would never spend another penny of it at Contour Day Spa.
I was paired with Maya H. She was very professional and informative. I had the Lavender Salt Massage.She really knows what she is doing. I left feeling relaxed. No more stress. My sinuses cleared up. She made sure to take out all of my tension knots. I recommend her with confidence.
I received a gift card for a massage and a mani pedi. The gift card was for services and gratuity. When I got there I was told I had to pay $1 because the amount wasn’t enough on the gift card? What. It’s not my fault you sold it wrong and for $1 you’d think instead of making someone’s first impression awkward they’d bite the bullet. Lol still shaking my head on that. I saw a sign that said ask about our free champagne but to get that you have to leave a 5 star review first. Well since I didn’t want to review before my services and I didn’t want to sit and drink champagne when I was already ready to leave I declined the free drinks. Again, still shaking my head at that one. The massage was done by Joey Buxton and it was the highlight of my day (or year) she did a great job! I’m glad she gave me her card because I would go back to see her. I can’t say enough good things.My next stop was mani pedi. When I sat to get my pedi I told the lady (Norma, I believe) that I wanted gel polish for my hands. She told me she was allergic and unable to do that but she asked for me to get someone else. No problem. I was wondering why after I stated that I had so much time open that they could have been removing my current gel polish (which would need to get done regardless) once my pedicure was done (decent) the confusion started again. Norma was very kind and said they’d figure out but when I went up to the register , to pay the price difference of course (I didn’t expect to get anything free) he told me no. He said I should have booked that in advance since gel takes an extra 30 min to dry lol. I said no it dries immediately it’s just a different polish. The only thing that adds time is gel removal and they 2 need to do that regardless. Anyway, I left without my manicure. Super annoying and disappointing. Thanks for going the extra mile to accommodate your guests. I’ll be back but only for Joey!
Rosie is beyond extraordinary! She is highly-skilled. Experienced. Talented. Professional. Considerate. Timely. Most of all, she is exceptionally intuitive and an amazing communicator! I came to her as a new client who had experienced a destructive and unattractive haircut and color at another salon. Her skilled hands and ability to understand the needs of her clients has restored my comfort with my appearance. There is truly no one else I would trust with my journey back to looking like myself again. I was so delighted, and trust her so much, that I brought my daughter to Rosie on the day of her Homecoming for a cut and color. That could have been risky in another chair: but not with Rosie! My daughter walked out of the salon on Cloud 9! I wholeheartedly recommend Rosie to everyone I know who is looking for a stylist. And did I mention that shes a color GENIUS?
Made an appointment for 6 am and prepaid $285 online. I received emails and texts confirming 6 am appointment. When I arrived, nobody was there. When I called to explain the situation, the front desk didn’t apologize or offer to reschedule. She made it seem like it was my fault for booking an appointment at 6 am when they don’t open until 9 am. I guess that implies it’s the customers responsibility to ensure that a company’s online systems are managed properly. As a mom who works full-time and is primary caregiver, I really wanted and needed this self-care opportunity, not to mention the inconvenience it caused for both me and my babysitter (bless his soul) for having to wake up so early for nothing. So disappointed, we need a new word for disappointed.
I was gifted a spa day, the visit started off promising but went down hill fast.. First off Im a little disappointed in the aging facility. We went to take a shower but the handle was broken off of the shower. I feel and the service was sub par. I get massage therapy regularly and was looking to get a membership . It had to be hands down the top 3 worst massage Ive had in my entire life. They need to have qualified massage therapist. They lost 2 potential memberships today because of the skillset of the therapist. I dont want to name drop but it was a guy.
We celebrated my best friend’s birthday by giving her a surprise spa experience at the Contour Spa in Plantation, Florida. It was marvelous! We had our temperatures checked upon arrival. I had a great massage from Sara and my friends enjoyed theirs too. We were led to the other amenities such as the steam room and sauna. The Spa was clean and all therapists and employees were welcoming and friendly. I will be back next week for a similar surprise experience for my sister.
My main problem is with the way the manager manage the communication terrible actitud and super dark energy, he does not know how to treat costumers, what an unprofessional excuse this place reply to my review. First I don’t go to a spa to be overall please. Second they said that the gratuity is not a tip, so the prices on the web are for what, If then the client “have to pay” more money for admin fees, basically this is a scam, and even worse so that mean that the person who does the job is not receiving the money, and third gratuity means tip, please!!! They textually put in the app this“Gratuity is not included in your service. If you enjoy your experience, and would like to leave a tip, feel free to do so. Most clients tip 10% - 25%..”I must say the staff in general is great but the manager is forcing me to pay 20% gratuity and today he told me that if I do not pay the 20% I would have to go. I always leave tip but the amount I consider is ok, I am not sure if this is legal (Contour Day Spa in Plantation, Florida). I believe this is not correct, he says this is their internal policy, although when I go to the app it says something different.
I have been going to Contour Day Spa for 20yrs now, Both my mom and I love Maribel service. As a member she will be part of my wellness routine. Amazing medley massage.

My mom and I had an all day Spa package for her birthday. She loved it! The body massage had her feeling so relaxed that she feel asleep. I enjoyed the day as well. The staff members were very nice, accommodating to our needs and professional the entire time we were there. I definitely recommend Contour Spa when you need a day of relaxation.
On February 2, 2023 I went there for swedish message and manicure and pedicure and eyebrow waxing. Man my manicure was then my lady name Kimberly wow never stay put always leaving me for something. I did the dip manicure with acrylic nail for a little longer. My manicure looks so bad nails not even some pointed to east and west just a few days one nails broke. its been long time since a treat myself for my birthday, when I finally did was bad experiencewow happy birthday to me never again go there what a waste of my money
Leon at Contour Day Spa is a miracle worker. He was prompt and immediately assessed my hair and showed me a color chart to choose my color. Leon made some suggestions and offered to clean up my layers. I could tell he was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. He even told me, in a few days if the color needs to be adjusted to come back and well see what needs to be adjusted. It was a very pleasurable experience and will definitely return.Last weekend, I went to the hair salon I normally go to and since Dawn (my hair dresser) was out ill I agreed to have someone else cut my hair. Her name was Sarah. Since I was starting a new job on 2/22/21, I wanted a professional hairstyle with low maintenance and wanted some suggestions. I agreed to give Sarah a try. Bad decision! Sarah, had broken English and barely understood her. She didnt provide any suggestions for a hairstyle or cut. The salon manager, told me that I was being mean and rude to Sarah. You never tell a customer that! I was not being mean and rude I was frustrated and wanted suggestions on a nice professional hair cut for curly hair. She cut my hair shorter than what I told her and had no idea of what to do. I finally told her to layer it and that was it. She wanted to color my hair and simply said, No thank you! My customer experience was horrible.From now on, I will schedule my hair appointments with Leon at Contour Day Spa and can be assured my hair will come out looking great! Thank you, Leon so much!
So it was my boyfriends birthday weekend and we came here for the very first time and we got the Swedish massage. Oh my goodness it was so peaceful and relaxing and the best part is they have a variety of different options so it was really good. Brenda and another lady that I forgot her name took really care of us!! Thank you very much “Contour Day Spa” we will definitely be back again!

First off, every provider was extremely friendly and personable. This review is an indication of service and not the staff. Our schedule was a little weird. Knowing most spa schedules start with a massage, then facial, then end with nails. Ours was set up the other way around. Not sure if this was a normal thing, it was mentioned my one of your staff members that is was the opposite order of how its normally done. The nail tech who performed painted toenails was had an awkward way of painting nails. She would paint the toe and use a brush with polish remover to remove the paint from the skin. Seems normal except they didnt take enough time to be meticulous and ending up making the nail look messy and there was much more time removing of polish instead of being careful with putting the polish on. Next onto facials. Relaxing until the extractions. It would be nice for the provider to give warning or to ask if extractions were something we wanted to do. I understand it can be painful but it should also be asked if extractions are wanted. Lastly the massage. It was Swedish so it was more of a calm g but my girlfriends provider had long nails and ended up scratch marks all over her back. I booked a couples massage and the layout of the service was odd as we were in the same room but not really. The spa has been here over 20 years and you can tell its become a little bit dated. I received an email asking fo we can help them by reviewing them. I want to make sure anyone who goes is prepared to lower your expectations. Maybe it was an off day for the spa, I wont give them a second chance to find out.
Just left the spa feeling great!! I took my two daughters and we all got the sugar pedicures. Casey, Brenda and Crystal were incredible! It was my daughters first time getting a pedicure and they truly made their experience memorable and relaxing. Just what we all needed after being cooped up for two months with this quarantine. 5 STARS for sure! Thank you Contour, you truly stay consistent with your great service all these years!
Booked massages for 3 for birthday. Asked twice to have services in the same room and spa agreed. On day of event, was rushed, had to pay before services including 20% mandatory gratuity and was told, same room was not an option. My massage therapist chewed gum and listen to Madonna on his headphones. I complained and was told that I wasnt charged extra for anyone else in my room. Overall, treatments were confused with between the 3 of us. They kept calling me my friend name. I requested a refund for mani and pedi.
Hi Fanit, I always love coming to contour day spa, especially to get my waxing done with Clea. I made an appointment over the phone for an Ombré French manicure and when I got to the salon the technician told me she isn’t qualified to do this nor anyone else at the salon. The person who took my appointment over the phone should have all her facts straight and should have told me straight up instead of me coming and being disappointed. Also- I enjoy a relaxing manicure appointment and the technician talks a lot and therefore my appointment took over an hour and a half. She is also very egotistical (yes she does her job well) but if a client wants something she shouldn’t make them feel bad for getting the service they want.
This place used to be nice a few years ago. Now its just a mess. I went here not to long ago & I regret it. My husband booked me a prenatal massage for mothers day. I was 35 weeks & the visit was so stressful, I went into labor early. When he booked the massage everything was paid in full & there was a card on file. The next day someone called to ask for a card to be put on file, I informed them that it was already a card on file. They checked & magically saw there was a card on file. The day after, they called to confirm my appointment for 12:15 & sent me an email as well. I confirmed. The same day, someone else called to say they only had a make masseuse available & they asked if that was ok. I said it was fine. They also confirmed my appointment for 12:15 again! The following morning was the day of the appointment, they called to ask if i had changed my massage to a regular Swedish massage, i said no i needed a prenatal massage since i was pregnant. They said ok no problem & supposedly changed it back. I get to the appointment & theyre telling me that Im scheduled for a Swedish massage at 12:30 & they need a card on file for the gratuity. So now Im stressed because they called everyday since the massage was booked & still got everything wrong! I tell them again theres a card on file & the liars claim they couldnt access it. I go to get ready for my massage & they tell me some lady who is supposedly amazing would be doing my massage, mind you, they called the day prior asking if a blind guy would be suitable. I get in the room to get my massage & it was the absolute worst massage Ive ever had in my entire life. My 3 yr old gives better massages than that lady. & to make matters worse, they didnt even have the proper table to give prenatal massages. It was very uncomfortable & honestly just a waste of time & money. Another worker saw my frustration & gave me a mini facial as a courtesy & honestly that was the only good park. Nichole was an amazing Esthetician! She was the only highlight. Overall it was a stressful experience & I do not recommend going here. Its all just a mess, especially the front desk people! & you shouldnt have to pay 20% gratuity on a service that a toddler can do better than a so called professional. Save yourself & your money & go to a place thats better organized where you can get a good service & leave relaxed instead of stressed.
My best friend surprised me with a spa day. This was long over due, the best spa day Ive ever had.The spa lady upstairs Danene was super fantastic 👏 she was very professional, thanks for checking on me she knew I was a little nervous 🙂 to bad she only works on SundayEstheticians & Body: Clea & Iliana was amazing they made us feel special for 3hrs of pampering a Seaweed & Loofah Body Buff/Scrub followed by a Milk & Honey Body Smoothing. Was so relaxing, my whole body feels soft & smooth from head to toe. I can’t wait to go back with my daughter she deserve this.We finished with dip manicure + spa pedicure with Jackie & Kimberly I didnt realize how bad I needed a manicure.Theyre Great!!! Pretty much I will not be going back as my first experience wasn’t so pleasant. I only stayed because Sumaya was absolutely wonderful. Energy was amazing. When I arrived no one gave me a robe or told me where the lockers were. What I booked for over the phone was not what I got. Jacuzzis should be shut down as there were roaches around. Customer service is something that needs to be worked on along with phone etiquette. One lady hung up in my face and cut me off when I was speaking. After I explained my experience I was told the owner would reach out. He/she didn’t and I had to call and ask. I was passed down to a manager as the rep told me a manager would give me a call. (That didn’t happen either) So pretty much nobody was alarmed in anything that occurred. Guess it’s a norm. When I did inform her about the roaches the receptionist told me they are aware and have people working on it. I will be contacting someone to go out and do a full inspection. Sanitation is VERY important at a SPA. Nobody is ever on the same page as far as communication goes. Sucks because I was referred.
I was not going to write this review, but after trying to call and no one calling me back and writing an email and no one responding to my email, I decided to write this review…It usually takes a lot for me to say something. I am not one to complain, but the care I received on Mother’s Day was far from even meets standards. I just want to make people aware.First thank goodness my husband called to confirm this apt for me in the first place because they accidentally didn’t book the apt but charged him.Pedicure technicianStarted my pedicure in bright blue workout clothes, left to go change and came back. Told me she’d get in trouble if she didn’t change and was gone for 10 min.The tech was on the phone the entire time, with ear pods in.Kept leaving for long periods of time.Degraded my feet. Im here for the experience, I don’t need a lecture about how ugly they are. I wanted to cry.Tech reeked of cigarette smoke.The hygiene was awful, reused tools, they didn’t look sterilized.She was throwing towels across the room and missing the hamper.She kept touching her dirty phone then touching me.Massage therapistSloppy50 min instead of 70 min, paid for 70 minutes.Room was dirty, his coffee was out on the counter, coffee stains all over counter, water everywhere, on his phone a bit, I could see the light keep coming on and his phone vibrating.Hands weren’t slow and controlled, moved very fast and sloppy. Not relaxing to say the least.Hair styleThey couldn’t get to my hair, they were behind, I was rebooked, booked me randomly.. Waited 40+ minutes for it. Then was rushed. The hair tech very nice and tried to accommodate me. He was nice and did well.OverallAt least the receptionist was very nice and offered me a complimentary champagne and a salt room session. That was very kind. I wish I remembered her name.The nail tech made me feel awful on a day I was to be celebrated. It was the first time out by myself after the birth of my son.Unfortunately I will not be returning, I hope this helps people choose somewhere else.
This is a luxury spa with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. I have been coming here for years and brought my daughter for the first time. She is 23 and we were celebrating her college graduation. We got massages together in an adjoining room to share the experience. My masseuse, Sandra was excellent. We then relaxed on some beautiful chairs before going into the sauna. I think we will try the salt room next time. It was a wonderful experience and left so relaxed and refreshed. I recommend to stay and relax before leaving to embrace the whole experience. Well worth the visit.
I received the last minute spa treatment after a stressful week, well the almost 4 hours at Contour added more stress than needed.. I started with the body waxing, which was very good especially for my first time. The massage was not as advertised missing some of the features of the service. Then the sugar pedicure hand off was a mess. After I went downstairs it as if they forgot about me I had to ask twice what is going on, then they had someone started my pedicure and left me for like 25 minutes unattended as she said she does not know who is coming and had another appointment. At this point I needed to use the restroom and I had to wash my feet off and step out . I did not receive the scrub of the bottom of my feet which is basic for every pedicure. Stephanie took over to complete and she did her best to try to turn the experience around but at this point I was done , I was introduced to do a seaweed scrub but after that experience...NO THANK YOU!
My sister gifted me a Spa day for my birthday and I can truly say #ContourDaySpa is definitely a need to go, a MUST go... your muscles will love you❤️
I usually dont leave comments. I took my mom for her birthday. Everyone was amazing. We did not have an appointment and they accommodated us. Sara who took care of me made sure my mom was good and made suggestions on packages that would be beneficial. Sara did a great job on my Swedish massage... Better than massage envy. Overall great experience and it was our first time there.
It is always a pleasure being a pampered client at Contour Day Spa! The owner, Fanit, enjoys redecorating and this spa is constantly being upgraded. During the pandemic, the layout was changed to provide a lovely, yet safe environment for all clients as well as for the staff. I have been a client at Contour Day Spa for many years and I’m always greeted by my first name by the owner’s sons. My hairstylist, Jimmie, Is amazing at doing color and he’s easy on the eyes! I highly recommend this day spa for all of your hair and nail needs, as well as for massages and facials. There is a new shampoo girl, Sierra, who is fabulous! She is taking her boards in the next few months so join me in wishing her success! Treat yourself! You will not be sorry.
This is place is an absolute joke. I made an appointment to get a mani pedi for my birthday. When I arrived I was not pleasantly surprised by the construction being done on the ground floor. Directly next to the hair salon walls were being broken down with not even as much as plastic separating the two areas. Judging by how the ground floor looked like a run down outdated strip mall it desperately needs the Reno but I prefer my constitution separate from my relaxing spa day. To make matters worse no one greeted me for at least 10 min well I stood at an extremely awkward front desk. A women working the salon said nothing as she texted on her phone behind a small partition. When the women working the front desk did finally arrive she was very kind but at this point I was already feeling extremely uncomfortable. When I told her I think I should pass on my appointment due to the construction she kindly offered me a private room upstairs I reluctantly accepted and she kindly took me to the private room. I then proceeded to wait another 15 min for my nail tech. In her defense she had lost an item and was looking for it not her fault but everything at this point kept piling on. The private room looks like an outdated 90s bathroom with giant white pedicure thrones and fake black snake skin seats not my vibe. It looks out onto a roof covered in fake grass and strips of blue tarp littering it. Finally when my pedicure was over I told my nail tech I had made an appointment for dip manicure and she informed me that that was not what they put down for my appointment and no one was available to do that for me. Even though the man who answered my call and took my appointment repeated the words dip manicure back to me. At that point I just wanted to run screaming from this place and go somewhere where I could actually relax. My tech was very kind though and I almost feel guilty writing this except overall my day was an absolute nightmare and I firmly believe it was because management has no idea what they are doing. I strongly advise you to stay away from this place.
Great place, the experience was simply amazing! . We had a VIP package and every single service was great. Wish we remembered everyones name as the entire staff we interacted with was incredibly nice and profesional. We had a hot stone massage, facial, jacuzzi and reflexology pedicure. ALL recommended! Definitely coming back!👍🏼
I loved my experience at the spa! Mya made me feel so comfortable and kept checking in on me during the massage to make sure that i was enjoying myself. As for the massage itself, it was probably the best one I’ve ever gotten! I left feeling so refreshed. Highly highly recommend!!
My wife has been here numerous times with a positive experience. Today she had a manicure appointment with Stephanie who was running behind. Her nail tech assistant was courteous and tried to help however Stephanie was an hour late and was abrasive, rude, and unapologetic about the whole situation. She raised her voice at her assistant and threatened to “walk out if anyone bothers her again.” It was incredibly unprofessional. My wife paid for her other services at the front desk and walked out. Unfortunately she will not be returning.
I have been going to Contour Day Spa for about 15 years and I wont go anywhere else for my massages. The staff there is very warm and welcoming. In particular, I absolutely LOVE my massages from Marcia. She always greets me with a beaming smile upon arrival, asks how Im feeling and if theres anything she can focus on. I suffer from terrible sciatica and she never misses a beat. My husband even bought me a membership for Christmas last year because he knew how much I loved her massages and that they helped with pain relief. Ive recently had some major flare-ups and she used hot towels & stones without me even requesting it--HEAVEN! I always feel refreshed when I leave and I will continue being a loyal customer always!!
Recieved a birthday package from the wife. Looking for a great relaxing experience, schedule a treatment with Robin. That young lady was professional and skilled. The staff was excellent and the facility was clean and nice.
Really disappointed. Having a vast experience with spas around the world, I consider our experience poor.I booked our appointments over two months prior to my sister arriving from out of town for a sister day. The week before I confirmed in person the appointments when I went to have my hair done. Facility opens at 9:00am and our appointment was for 10:00am. After checking in, we arrived at 9:50am to the second floor and no one was there to greet us. After waiting a while, had to walk around calling out to find someone. The massage therapist were magnificent and very professional. Afterwards we had an appointment for a hair treatment, wash and blow dry. All of a sudden it became an issue. We were scheduled with Regina for blow dry and style and with the lady that washes hair and does the hair treatment. We were ask to sit indefinitely. We finally had our hair washed, treatment applied and rinsed. Then instructed to sit again. Later the lady behind the register pointed in the direction we were to go to the rear for blow dry and style. Found this very odd because the hair stylists are all situated in the front. Were informed Angel was going to do us the favor and squeeze us in. Angel rents a space and is not directly with Contour Day Spa with which our appointments were scheduled. Do have to say we appreciate everything Angel did for us to accommodate and please us regardless how busy she was. Angel did a wonderful job with my long hair and my sisters sholder length hair. Felt we were more an inconvenience, bothersome and not welcome. Originally should have finished around 12:30pm and then go to lunch. Instead we finished a little past 3:00pm. Canceled my appointment for April 29th, going somewhere else where my business is appreciated.
My husband and I visited the spa for a massage and reflexology pedicure. We arrived 20 mins ahead of our appointment and we werent serviced until about 25 minutes after our appointment. We also werent offered any concessions for the delay. Upon being greeted by our massage therapist we were rushed into our private suite and not offered robes to change or slippers. When I asked the therapist if we would be given robes just just replied no, with not so much as an explanation. Ive visited the spa in the past and it was always enjoyable. This was my husbands first visit and I wanted him to have the full experience which he did not get. The room was cold and there were no essential oils used for our massages. The reflexology pedicures felt rushed and nothing was explained to us about what to expect seeing as it was our first time getting reflexology. I will not be back to visit.
If I could rate the spa a 0/5 starts I would. To begin, I booked a 80 min massage, giving them my CC over the phone so they would have it on file and when I arrived they made me pay for the service ahead of time (WARNING!!!) The building its self is old, rundown and not sanitary. The customer service is TERRIBLE.My massage was booked for 2pm. I waited at the check in counter for 10 mins until someone finally came out and told me where to sit. The masseuse finally came out and walked me back to the changing room, this was after waiting in a run down waiting room for 10 mins. She did NOT communicate with me at all on where to go or what to do. I had to find my own spa shoes, ask for a robe and figure out where to go after I was done changing (non of this was communicated to me). I was told to wait in the upstairs lobby for the masseuse, once I was done changing. After getting changed I sat in a nasty chair, naked, with a robe on, in the lobby where people are just walking by. This was a very uncomfortable feeling. The massage room was cold, the sheets did not smell clean, it felt like they were purchased at Walmart in the clearance section and the room smelled. All spas have diffusers/essential oils, etc. not this one! The massage defiantly didnt last 80 mins and felt terrible. After I was done she brought me to the steam room, where I was greeted with dirty used towels inside of the room. She walked away and came back 10 mins later. I went back to the changing room. The floors are gross, tiles are falling off the walls, mold was on the ceiling, the towels provided must have been there for 20 years and were originally pool towels. The toilet was absolutely disgusting. I called the salon after I left to speak with a manager, the first manager that I spoke to told me she would call back in about an hr. I received a call back, however it was not the same manager. She offered me a free complimentary 50 min service. I declined this offer, stating that I will not be returning to their so called spa. The management was not helpful at all. I was informed that they were short staffed today and someone had COVID-19 which is everyones excuse now a days when they are in the wrong. If I had to wait 20 mins for my massage with a great masseuse, exceptional customer service and a clean spa I would not have an issue at all.I bet this spa would not pass inspection due to it being unsanitary and mold infestation.I have been to spas at the Ritz Carlton in Maui and many other high end spas. I wasnt expecting it to be like a Ritz Carlton, however I was expecting it to be clean with great customer service.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!
Whenever I feel stressed and my body screams pamper me pamper me... I visit Contour Day Spa. In fact I love this place so much I became a member. The staff is so accommodating and total professional. I cant say what I like the best the expert facials or the amazing messages. They both are equally enjoyable. When my hairdresser was on vacation I went to their salon and was very happy with my haircut. This is a great place to give yourself a wonderful spa day! I feel so good about myself after a day at Contour Day Spa.
Paid 167$ for a deep tissue, got a Swedish. Had an 11 am appointment. Wasnt seen until 11:30. Wont be going back.Upate: I will not be deleting anything. I reviewed your business on Google and Yelp with an accurate reflection of the services I recieved. I hope others have a better experience than what I received, including being threatened due to a review.
Going to Contour is always a great experience. Relaxing in the steam room and then having a massage is a GREAT way to unwind and put a smile on your face. I’ve had different massage therapists, and they’ve all been good. Most recently I had Sara, and she was great. Left fully relaxed. Mission accomplished!! Great place!
The nail technician was awesome with what she does but isn’t very impressionable. She was was able getting the job done and sending me off. That is as the impression I received from her and my guest whom gifted me the manicure. The nail technician’s lack of people skills is why I gave 4 stars as opposed to 5.
I have enjoyed coming to Contour Day Spa many times over the years, for waxing, massages, etc. I usually have a pleasant, relaxing experience, but yesterday was different.I booked a massage appointment online with a specific therapist (Sara) because I enjoyed her work the last time I visited and she applied the perfect amount of pressure. When I arrived and checked in, I was told my appointment was with someone else and that their online system doesnt recognize when you select a specific therapist because it assumes anyone booking online is a first time customer and youre just placed with whoever is available.Why is there an option to book online and choose the massage therapist you want if 1) it isnt actually considered and 2) the system assumes youre a first time client if you arent. And even if you are a first time client, that doesnt mean you cant want a specific massage therapist if you heard great things about one person?? None of it made any sense and definitely didnt start my relaxing afternoon off right. Im giving three stars because the massage was okay, and the therapist was friendly, but it wasnt with who I wanted it to be with and I still have a few tense spots. There are plenty of spas whose online systems reflect what youre actually booking and Ill be going to those places from now on.
My experience at contour day spa was amazing. I had the pleasure of sitting in an amazing hair stylist name Angela aka Pooh chair. She was very professional and nice. The salon is very nice and clean. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and will be coming back for more services
Overall my experience was okay. What would have made it excellent was that the wait times. The wait times between services was long. It didn’t feel personalized. It felt like going to different places for each service the transitions were not smooth for a spa felt more like a regular salon not a spa. The hand and foot reflexology I got was not so good but the lady was nice. The mani/pedi was good. The hair service was good. I have had way better experiences here however this one was not great. Overall will try them again maybe it was an off day.
I used to go to Control Day Spa regularly over 10 years ago. It was like the Disneyland of spas, beautiful and elegant. However, what a disappointment to see the condition of the place now. My bf bought me a $270 gift card for Christmas and finally got around to use it this past week. I schedule my appointments online. First I got a $45 gel manicure which I scheduled for dip but the manicurist said she didnt bring her dip equipment that day. Whatever that meant. As I sat there I notice the worn condition of the place and looked up at the ceiling to see severe water damage which looked like mold. On Saturday I went in for my scheduled sea weed body wrap I was so excited knowing I could finally relax after my long work week. Well on the second floor the carpets were disgusting/damaged and looked like there had been a flood and were dried out. Then when she took me into the scrub room for my wrap, the travertine tile walls were totally filled of black mold like the room hasnt been disinfected or cleaned in decades. At this point I was totally stressed out thinking Id get mold inhalation. But I let her continue my body wrap thinking for $169 I better deal. And also in this place, you have to pay first, which is unheard of but now I know why. The seaweed was not real seaweed but a combo of some sort of mint of something. After the wrap, she escorted me to the steam room we walked through the dark Turkish tub room the tiles were falling apart everywhere. If the experience couldnt stress be out any more. As I sat inside of the steam room trying to relax again. I noticed around the door from the inside the tiles held up by duct tape. DUCT TAPE! NO LIE! I couldnt make this up, if I tried. Who knows whats going on in this place but for sure it health hazard and violation and shouldnt be open to the public till its inspected and passed. Im almost positive its a health risk. I had $40 dollars left on the gift card and told the reception to tip the rest to the technician and ran out of there.
We did body massage with hot stones. Well, it was awesome. Marcia was super fantastic 👏 she was very professional could not ask for anything else. We enjoyed every moment. We wish we had known about the sana but next time thanks!❤
Hadnt been to Contour Day spa in years since I moved more south. Wanted to treat a girlfriend to a facial and we decided to meet in the middle. We both had Daisy and she was Ah-mazing. Her attention to detail and detailed review of my skin was unmatched. I love how she focused on what my needs were and customized a regimen for me. I got the Hydra-facial and it was worth every penny.Daisy is my go-to and now, I will happily drive north to Broward just to have her do my facials every month.One note- Contour does need more help at the front desk. It can be slow and in my case made me late for my facial. Give yourself at least 15 minutes to check in and if you go make time before your appointment to steam.
I had an incredible time at, Contour Day Spa. My husband surprised me with a, Quick Fix package which included a 70 minute sweedish massage, sugar rub pedicure and wash/blow dry. I then added a manicure. I spent 4.5 hours here and it was so perfect.Debbie was my masseuse and she was incredible!!! Her hands are pure magic. I left her room feeling like a new woman.The woman who did my blow dry was so awesome. I cant remember her name but she was tall, blonde and had a lace black mask. She was so sweet. I typically keep to myself but she took me out of my shell and I had a blast talking to her while she was doing my hair. She also did a fantastic job.Finally, the woman who did my pedicure and manicure also did a great job! Cannot remember her name but she was blonde, has cool tats on her arms -lol. She was super cool.All in all, my experience here was nothing less then perfect. Cant wait to go back. Will be taking husband next time!!
I came to Contour Day Spa for my birthday today and purchased the Blissfull Spa Day Package. Ive never had a Spa day and Im so glad I treated myself today. The receptionist at the front was very warm and inviting. My Tech Brenda was absolutely amazing! She made me feel comfortable the entire time and I could tell that she loves what she does. It felt like she was a mother taking care of her child the way she was servicing me. And my massage with Marcia (I believe thats her name please forgive me if uts incorrect) was incredible. She relieved my tension while still making the experience relaxing. The only thing I would suggest is to check the salt room after every person because when I went in there was masks on the floor and for there to be more of an aromatic in there. But other than that I will definitely come back again 💕
Jimmy is fantastic with color and faster than any other stylist Ive been to. I usually sit in the chair for 3-4 hours. On the extreme end, once it was 7 hours. Jimmy does excellent work and its 1.5-2 hours for me. He really does a great job with my color.
I had the Medley Massage done by Debbie and it was fantastic. A friend & I went for a 60th Birthday. We got Birthday discount and glass of champagne. The facility is tastefully done with alot of services to offer. i would highly recommend the Medley Massage - a little bit of everything. this was by far the best Massage i ever had.
Mimo was amazing as always!!! He has such great style and a lovely personality. He makes you feel at home and as if he has known you for years. Claudia gives such a nice wash and light neck rub, its almost worth it to just get your hair washed. The atmosphere of the spa is beautiful, positive and professional.
Checking in was a little disorganized. They messed up the services me and my mother were supposed to get. So that had to be corrected. Then upstairs they once again couldn’t find our papers telling them what we were getting. The locker room was GROSS and old . Didn’t look like it had been clean in days. Stuff all over the bathroom floors. Toilet was nasty. Most of the lockers were broken. And the lights didn’t work! Literally was getting dressed in the dark. There were people on the other side in the jacuzzi room playing loud rap music- which should not be allowed as This is suppose to be a “spa” . I loved my masseuse, she was very sweet And professional however when I woke up I was covered in bruises and SO sore I barely slept. Not sure if that’s normal. I also woke up with a sore throat and a runny nose which I’m sure was from that place as I havnt been sick in over a year. For $418 I def expected better. Will never go back to this place.
Ive been meaning to write this review for a couple months now, but I have an infant that keeps me pretty busy. Anyway, my husband and I had a perfect morning away at Contours. We had a couples massage with Robin and Tracey. They were both very nice and professional. We both said that it was the best massage weve ever had.
I had over 100 massages and services with the company over the years and I just can’t get enough! Outstanding services and products.I had over 30 massages with SANDRA and I must say that she is my personal therapist and fixer, LOL. She is awesome!!I sent many of my clients and family members and they are very impressed as well. I’m there at least twice a month. Their packages are great. I booked the Mother & Daughter package for both my mother and I. Although my mother has been here before this was my first time. And may I add LAST time. From booking to the actual massage and the mani & pedi my mother received it just wasn’t an overall good experience. Our massage therapist although a kind gentleman didn’t provide a relaxing experience. I desperately tried to relax and just and enjoy the massage but I couldn’t. I was tense the entire massage so much so I almost got up to leave half way into the massage. The noisy chair he was moving around the massage table in, the bright light, fan, and sounds of heavy breathing and what sounded like whispering coming from the therapist. I thought it was just me but my mothers experience was the same. My mother’s mani and pedi was scheduled immediately after her massage for 11:15. She wasn’t finished until almost 1:30. And unfortunately between the manicurist’s hands shaking and her leaving out several times for far too long my mother did not have a relaxing experience. After a long week I was looking forward to today. This was a total bust and complete waste of money. Never again!
I was a little nervous about going in to get my hair done, but it was at the point that I couldnt stand it anymore. They could not have been more professional about protecting the safety of both the clients and the staff. Everyones temperature was taken, a questionnaire filled out and masks required. I couldnt have felt safer!Of course the quality of the services is outstanding! Rosie has done my hair for more than ten years and I wouldnt go to anyone else! The nail salon and the massages are top of the line too!
Chanel, the massage therapist was very professional. I had an amazing deep tissue full body massage. I cant way to have another session with her. Thank you Chanel I feel so relaxed and for the first time in a very long time my left ankle does not hurt. God bless your talent.
For over twenty years Ive been going to Contour every Sunday for a massage. It continues to be the highlight of my week. There has never been a time that I havent left relaxed and invigorated. The service is top-notch, the atmosphere is relaxed and stress-free, and the facility is pristine and well-maintained.I have been recommending Contour for two decades and Im sure that I will continue to do so.
I received a facial from Isabel and my face felt soft and was glowing.She is very professional and kind, top notch service. Not to mention the message I received from Richard, he have healing hands. He is also kind and professional. I highly recommend the two of them.
Would not return. I booked a glycolic pedicure and a gel manicure. Each service was supposed to be 1 hour. The technician that did my pedicure was pleasant but she started me at least 15mins late, finished on time and the entire process felt rushed as if she was running late. For that reason the experience wasnt as relaxing or enjoyable as Id have liked. The technician that did my manicure suggested I do dips instead of gel on my nails because she claimed it was less damaging, which I dont belive. I dont regularly do gel or anything else to my nails and normally keep them completely natural. In any event the entire experience was spent dipping and filing my nails. Several of my cuticles are cut, sore and bleeding today. Not a single minute was actually spent caring for my nails such as buffing, pushing down my cuticles, lotioning or massaging my hands. My technician was checking her phone every opportunity she could get and injecting herself into other peoples conversations around us. I was also seated at a station which was right by the employee lounge where I could overhear employees having personal conversations and walking in and out while actually eating their lunch. I regret paying the gratuity up front.
Edit: went this week for a massage and had Tracey. It was the best massage I have ever had. I don’t think I will be able to go to anyone else. She was incredible and made it so relaxing!!!!!!When it comes to massages, contour day spa is great. The staff is always professional, clean, and the massages are always relaxing. I have been to Sara and many others whose names unfortunately I have forgotten. Based on the massages, I give the spa 5 stars.However...the nail salon is terrible. I hate to complain, but I work very hard and very hard for my money. I received a gift card for my birthday and I decided to get the spa package that includes a massage, manicure, and pedicure. I was looking forward to it because my job is rough and I really needed a day to get pampered. When I first met with the nail tech she didn’t say much to me, which is okay because I’m not one for small talk. I did notice that she did seem to rush through and did a sloppy job with my manicure. Leaving the salon, I realized that old polish had been left on my nails, there were parts of my nails that weren’t even polished, and the polish was bubbling. After 5 hours of leaving the salon, the polish had already chipped.My pedicure was nothing special, too. She did a decent job on my toe nails, but scrapping a tool 3-5 times across the bottom of my feet is not considered a pedicure. I don’t know if I received such terrible service because I got the package deal and it was cheaper than the usual price; Or maybe it was because gratuity was added in the beginning (which I didn’t ask for). Although the nail tech was honestly very nice, I am not impressed with the salon. Overall I’m just very dissatisfied with my nails. I will not be back for those services.
I booked a Lymphatic drainage massage as part of my post surgery recommendations from my surgeon. This was my first lymphatic massage let alone my first surgery so I was not sure what I was to expect. I basically knew the massage was to help drain the swelling/fluid post surgery. As far as I knew, the massage was great, she was gentle and used soft hands. However when I returned to my follow up appointment my nurse immediately noticed that there was no way I received the lymphatic massage. I explained to her the services I received and she said I didn’t get what I paid for.Needless to say I wasted $150 on a massage that did nothing for my post surgery healing. I had to search for a new and qualified lymphatic masseuse and have been using her everyday since. The massage can in fact be painful since she is supposed to be draining fluid, smoothing out the hard fibroids that form post surgery, loosening up the stiffness around my abdomen and using a ultrasound machine to assist with all of this.None of this was done at my appointment at Contour. It would be nice if I could receive a credit for the services that I received that were not at all up to par professionally.I will say last time I was at Contour in November I had the absolute BEST masseuse named Ms Pauline, I hope to be back to use her services again.Thank you for your timeAndrea Baker
Swedish massage with Maya. Massage was wonderful. She was very attentive to my needs. I paid for 70 min and was finished in 60. Not sure where the scheduling went wrong but would definitely recommend Maya for her skills.
I Recommend Contour Day Spa hands down.The customer service representative Abby was very pleasant and literally sold the place nothing short of what I experienced. The front desk guy with the dread locs was also very nice, he greeted everyone that came to check in with a bright smile and very attentive to everyones needs. AlsoDanene was very helpful with the tour of the facility and very informative of all the spa has to offer, there was no sense of urgency having to rush . Detail by detail she explained everything.Also Maya God bless her hands.I Recommend her for your experience at the Spa, rejuvenated is exactly how you will feel by just being in her aura. From start to end everything was perfect , even the clients was pleasant!
The customer service was good, but the building needs to be renovated. My masseuse was ok. I was told he was blind as I was walking into get my massage, which I didn’t have a problem with. There was just a lot of fumbling going on and he was grunting, moaning and smacking gum throughout. More accommodations should be made for him; he kept checking his phone to tell him the time. A timer should be installed in his room. There was also an outdated rotating fan in the room. Everything was just weird and I won’t be returning 🤷🏾♀️
Should have been 5 stars, but on my last visit, I was placed in a room that looked like a boiler room/not suitable for a bikini wax, located downstairs behind the pedicure section. For this visit, I waited over an hour because of their scheduling system not providing time for certain services that were scheduled. This was a horrible experience, considering the level of professionalism and relaxation that Id experienced my last 2 visits. Shelby, a manager, provided me with 2 glasses of wine and a very very small discount on this visit. More SHOULD have bern done. I felt very unsafe and hoped to not contract any diseases while being in that room. Contour Day Spa should be ashamed of themselves for that room!
Beware! I am the sort of person who gets her nails done regularly (every two weeks). I usually go to the same salon, but my mother wanted to go to Contour Day Spa together because she was having her hair cut, so I figured Id get my nails done while I was there. BIG MISTAKE! I always get gel manicures over my medium-length, once healthy, natural nails.My nails were breaking so low that they bled. Ive since cut them all off. What were once healthy nails I was proud of are now as thin as tissue paper. What happened? The professional nail tech, who I was inclined to trust because being a nail tech is her job, barely filed the surface of my existing gel polish, then proceeded to soak my nails in some solution for over forty-five minutes. I sat alone and watched the clock, bored, as she spoke on the phone in a different room. She finally returned to a concerned client. She tried, half-heartedly, to remove the polish. It didnt come off. I asked her, “Why did you soak them this way?”Because, at my regular place, they always soak cotton balls with acetone, apply those to my fingertips, wrap them in foil, then put gloves on your hands. Within fifteen minutes, the polish is off every time. This nail tech follows my (I’m not a nail tech.) direction, and she applies the cotton balls, etc., to my fingertips. She disappears for another twenty minutes. After these twenty minutes, Im watching the clock; I remove the foil and go to speak to the manager. Or who I believe was the owner’s son. He was very nice. The owner, however, a blonde woman, is awful. Not only did she deny all responsibility for what had happened, but she LITERALLY LAUGHED IN MY FACE for being upset that my nails were ruined, and my nail beds, by this point, were very sore. Shame on me for trusting the nail tech. Shame on the owner for treating me like garbage.
Called over a month ago and made appointments for mani/pedi and hair for my daughter and her best friend for homecoming. 1pm for nails and 3pm for hair as they said nails take 90 minutes. Staff called seven times in the next couple of weeks times trying to get me to reschedule the nail appointments. First they told me the nail tech had quit and they told me she got fired then they told me I had never even made an appointment for 1 PM, etc. each time I explained we had a Homecoming Dance the night and already had a hair appointment there at 3 PM and asked them to reschedule somebody else that did not have a conflict. They agree to honor the appointment but needless to say 30 minutes before the appointment time I get a call telling me the nail tech has called in sick and cancelling. I asked to speak to the manager or owner and was told he would call me back, When I didn’t hear back in a few minutes I drove over there I was told the owner doesn’t even come in on Saturday and I argued with a front desk person who agreed to honor my daughter and her friends appointment. We got there on time and then with the girls to the back and I thought they were getting their nails done however, Two hours later I find out they just had them waiting in a waiting room in the back and at 3pm when it was time to get their hair done one of the girls nails were just being started. Without me going repeatedly to the gentleman at reception to make a fuss they would not have been done on time for the dance . Overall the stylists did a great job but would not go there again due to the unreliability and rudeness of their phone people. I certainly would never use them for any important event if feel it is acceptable to cancel 1/2 hour before.
I got a dip manicure done here yesterday, made the appointment online, it was easy and smooth. I got there n its a beautiful place, very clean but if you want curious about covid guidelines, yea no one really wears a mask there but to me i didnt mind. Now i got my nails done by a lady named Hanna I believe, really sweet n definitely took her time since my appointment was at 12pm but i didn’t finish until 2:15pm which i guess makes sense since i did long extensions. Now i rate it 3 stars just because i have at least 4 cuts on my cuticles which hurt a lot and i even had to tell her it hurt when she filed the sides because it was rough which she listened n apologized. My nails i rate them a 8/10 bc of the cuts and there are also some parts that like thick and not as straight connecting my actual nail to the extensions. Which i guess is because i would tense up my hand when she would file bc i could feel the file cutting my hand. I also rate it tht bc I booked for dip manicure with no soak off bc i didnt have anything in my nails which should be $35, its $10 more with a soak . now since i got extensions I understand thats an add on which could be $20 at most n i didnt get anything special , no designs nothings just a solid color with coffin shape, but my total came out to be $75 . I paid too much personally which is why i dont think i would come back. I didnt tip only because of how expensive it came out to be if not I would’ve.
The treatment I bought was awesome and the woman who did my treatment was AMAZING. I got a lavender scrub and massage.What was not amazing was the drilling and construction sound during the massage. If I had some warning about this then that would have been fine but it was almost pointless to try to get a massage with loud drilling next door.
I had a spa experience which included a hand and foot reflexology with scalp massage which sent me to heaven. My technician was very good in keeping me comfortable. A aromatherapy bath followed which was relaxing in a great atmosphere but would suggest some tubs have safety handles for senior safety getting in and out of tubs. Body loofah and milk and honey rap helped to nourish my skin. Overall experience great.
I visit this place on 4/8/2019. This place and the whole staff was Amazing! Mind blowing and consistent pampering thru out the entire process. Ms Iliana was the best,she was great with the massage, the scrubs, the bathing, facial,everything Also Ms. Kim was great with my manicure & pedicure. The personality of these two people were Genuine & so humorous ,at the same time Professional. Lastly is the Manager Mr. Robert, he made sure me and my girls were warmly Welcomed to always come back for the same Wonderful treatment. To the owner, just know that these people working for you are Indeed the BEST and I will make this place my New comfort zone.. Thank you
I walked into contour day spa with the intention to stop in for a quick massage after a busy week, and practically floated out. Sara was phenomenal, wonderful energy and Midas touch hands. I left feeling like I had all new limbs and ready to tackle the rest of my week. I will for sure be back and 100% be recommending contour and Sara to all my friends and family.

I always enjoy visiting Contour! Staff is great and friendly! My only issue ... bathrooms really need some upgrades and upkeep. For example, shower shampoo/conditioner dispensers are disgusting. And, why would you go from thick, comfy cotton robes to thin polyester robes?!.....bring back the thick cotton robes...pleeeeesse!
Maya truly has healing hands. Ive been suffering horrible car accident pain since January of this year and Ive seen several physical therapists and a couple of massage therapists and no one has been able to provide any lasting relief but Maya has been a Godsend. Ive only seen her 3 times and I already feel 60% better than when I met her. Her love for what she does comes through in every session. Its been a painful road but Im finally beginning to feel like myself again thanks to Maya.

I have a super physical job...stooping, bending, crawling, climbing, are everyday activities which take a toll on the body.Ive been having accupressure therapy with Maya for the past 6 months and she has worked wonders. Its serious and really gets the knots out.No joke, last time I left, I could feel I was taller!
First, I want to say that Ive been to this Spa before in the past 2 or 3 years or so, And it was not a good experience because they were doing construction work so I couldnt fully enjoy it. So I decided to try out again for the 2nd time with my husband for a Fathers Day gift . When I called to make the appointment the young lady at the desk refused to answer any questions and referred me to the web site to review it for myself. Ive been to several spas and they are always willing to answer my questions however I was hoping that when I called back she didnt answer the phone and sure enough it was the same person and she sounded very annoyed. I put that behind me and still made my appointment. But what made it worse was when my husband and I arrived to the appointment I believe the same young lady that answered the phone was at the front desk because we received the same type of attitude. Also one of her coworkers came to let her About A complaint that a customer had and she Responded in a unconcerned And unprofessional manner. Once again I was more focused on being relaxed and getting ready to prep for my massage.. Once we went upstairs there was a young lady waiting on us who was very nice however our appointment started about 20 -25 minutes late and my husband I was there at least 20 minutes prior Our appointment time. There were so many signs for me to cancel but we were there, and my focus once again was that the massage 💆♀️ would make up for all of this because I will feel relax, etc. Once we got into the room, The massage therapist asked my husband and I what points we wanted them to focus on and we told them mainly our neck and shoulders. They mainly focus on our back which I thought was pretty weird. Also, it appeared that both the therapists were in training because the Session wasnt good at all. Both my husband and I had the worst experience! To add, 1 of the massage therapist phone continuously went off during our session. I also thought it was very unsanitary that they massaged our feet Before they did our neck, shoulders, and hands and they never changed their gloves. Ive been to several spas and never once had to write a bad review and I feel terrible that I had to do this but I also called back to the Contour Spa to speak to the manager and I still havent gotten a phone call yet. It appeared that the same young lady who answered the phone when I made my appointment, was the same one who answered when I called to speak to the manager🙄. Also my husband had lost his wallet and we had to go back A-day later and before he went back to check to see if the wallet was at the spa, a very nice young lady answered the phone , this time, and she did call me back promptly And told me that the wallet wasnt there. However my husband called back to see if he could go and check for himself and when he arrived and went to look back in the room where we placed our items while we receive our massage, He had to put the flashlight on his phone on in order to look under the bed(becausethe room lightswere dim) where there was a shelf, and to his surprise, there he saw a huge dead ROACH and there he also found his wallet not too far from it. This lets me know that the place was not cleaned properly the day before. This was by far the worst experience my husband and I ever had at a spa and to top it off we left there feeling worse than we did before our appointment. Remind you, we had just experience A few deaths and our family and other situations and just wanted to relax and Release some of our stress and tension. I was so disappointed and felt like it was not worth the money I spent at all! I tried to give this Spa a second chance but I would never recommend anyone nor would I ever go back!
It was a great mommy day for my wife after having our son. Bought the full spa package with a bottle of wine. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star is because they forgot to give her the wine. Although the manager did call and apologized as well as offered to give her a free manicure we had already left town since we were in FL for a quick family vacation.
It would have been okay if I paid half the price of what they charged for a 1 hour pedicure with reflexology foot massage. The reflexology massage was an average foot rub and I was in and out in 45 minutes. The spa seemed clean and it is in a great location.
I go to Contour Day Spa to see Marnie. Ever since she started doing my nails I haven’t gone to anyone else. Usually fills take a whole hour but she always finishes within 45 minutes which is super convenient since I always have errands after my nail appointment. Marnie always makes sure I am completely satisfied before I leave and always puts a smile on my face. I have never had such a close relationship with a nail tech before.
THE SERVICE WAS GREAT, my husband and I received a couples massage the tip was included in the services, but Nemo did such a great job that I tipped him again after service.
Truly enjoy Contour day spa, this is my oasis. Coming here over the years the experience has only gotten better. Have tried other luxury spas no experience compares to contour day spa. I am treated like the queen that I am.👸🏿
I was suffering from sciatica and after one massage that Maya gave me I am pain free. She taught me about nerve connection and giving me tips on how to stretch properly. The depth of the massage was on point. This has improved my quality of life tremendously. Thank you Maya , now I can go back to doing the things I love.
Took too long for a regular pedicure and was left with nail polish marks on my feet. Got me and my friends appointment information and details completely mixed up. Employee named Kim was very nosy and rude. 30+ years of experience and she accidentally cut my friend several times while clipping her cuticles. Very fancy building but disappointing experiance.
This morning I had a massage with Sara. I had a great experience. It was a so relaxing. I felt the stress melt right off of me, she has amazing hands. Very kind and professional. And I am joining for membership!
I had a day off work and decided to go pamper myself. I did not have an appointment. I was very pleased that I was seen almost immediately for a massage. It was awesome and I will go back. I also had a pedicure right after. When I got downstairs I was directed where to go and not left to wander aimlessly.
Horrible treatment by the guy at the front desk. He needs to take a 101 customer service class. Treats people horrible. I will stop referring all people. Better service at other local salons. This place should be shut down. Too many bad reviews lately. Stay away.
I went in for a massage and microneedling facial. When I first walked in a sign that points upward says to check in. I walked upstairs and the receptionist says that you have to check in downstairs. Please redo your sign. I went downstairs to check in and there were two ladies downstairs. One was helping another customer. No once did the other lady acknowledge me that she would be right with me. When the other receptionist finished helping the customer, I’m still standing there and no one still acknowledged me. A male receptionist came up front and he was the only one to acknowledge me and help me check in. I was annoyed to find out that they booked my facial before my massage. After you get a facial especially microneedling you do not want to be pressing your face on the massage table. They knew this but they booked me like that anyway. My esthetician Daisy and massage therapist Robin were great but the overall treatment outside of the actual service was subpar.
This place is really a hit or miss. I think you should go off recommendations when it comes to the services. I have had two massages in the past. One with a friendly petite older hispanic lady but just felt like I was being rubbed by abuelita. The 2nd massage was done by a very built AfricanAmerican who I wish his name I could remember (I know he loves brownies! Lol). The best massage EVER from a man who might I add was also visually impaired. Im going to return for my birthday in March and if he is still there, that is who I would be requesting. Ive also had pedicures done twice. The first time with a younger dominican woman who was very meticulous at removing dead skin and a perfectionist when painting. She was awesome. After I came back for a second visit, I was told that she had left. I was so sad. Well, I ended up getting the second pedi done by an older italian lady who was very sweet and had great conversation but honestly did a terrible job (it looked like a 6 year old painted my nails). I just didnt have the heart to tell her. I have also had a facial done by an older woman. The experience made me not want to get another facial. She spent almost no time with extractions (and I have plenty to extract). I did facials in beauty school and this lady was messy. She had product in my eyes every time it was applied. The water from the cotton/sponge she used to wipe off the products kept spilling all over my neck. Pretty horrible. As for the amenities, I have visited the steam and the salt room and there are no complaints there. Very relaxing. They have lockers and showers as well. The massage waiting areas are nice and usually have hot tea available and are comfortable. I have found an awesome masseuse, but still have not found the right esthetician or nail tech. Ill most likely go with some of the names in the reviews.
The Contour building is elegant with a royal feel. The front desk staff are welcoming and friendly. I had a massage with Sara, most relaxing and stress relief. Pedicure with Ililana, good conversation and laughs. Manicure with Amanda, beautiful make up and nails. Amanda suggested shopping, sweet of her. I enjoyed my travel to Florida. Contour was the best. Thank you.
The therapists were five stars, although the building needs a lot of work. Seems everything seems original from the late 1990s- early 2000s. The shower in the couples suite didnt have a shower head and there was a broom inside the shower like it was getting work done.
I would rate this place a 2.5 stars. I went to Contour with a group of girls (4 total) to celebrate a friends birthday. The first red flag is that they charge for the full price of service plus 20% gratuity before they even provide a service. After checking in they asked us to wait in the waiting room. The room was cold, dingy, and a bit noisy -- certainly did not have the relaxing spa feel. Before my massage, an associate handed me a bathrobe and directed me to the BATHROOM to get changed. The bathroom was cold and dirty and the bathrobe barely fit. After sitting in the waiting area for another 10-15 minutes my massage technician arrived. I was surprised to get a female tech because Id specifically requested male. The associate at the desk confirmed that my request was noted in the system, however there was no male masseuse available. I agreed to go with the female masseuse. The masseuse was friendly and the massage room was warm and inviting. The massage itself was ok. After the massage some in our group were let loose to explore the steam room and sauna. The timing for our services was not synced very well because 3 of us finished more than an hour before the last person in our group. Overall, Contour lacked the luxury feel that Im accustomed to at this price point. On a positive note, the staff is friendly.
I had a great massage by Barbara and I also had great time during my pedicure. She was wonderful and my party enjoy themselves. We had couple issues but they did try and fix the situation.
My masseuse, Maria, gave me an excellent Swedish massage. I also enjoyed the spa facilities, including the sauna and steam room. Robes, towels, sandals, and other essentials were readily available. I liked that everyone wore a mask and that sanitation of the massage table was explained which made me more comfortable and able to relax.
