MoonShine Nightclub

First time for me. They have a elevator for handicap people the food was excellent service was excellent downstairs. They have arcades and cool tables upstairs is a different atmosphere. Very nice.

We heard one of our favorite bands, The Menus, were performing at the Moonshine Nightclub in Fremont and we decided to make the 3 hour drive to see them on St Patty’s Day, Sunday, March 17.We were very impressed with the MoonShine Nightclub, it was decorated for the holiday and they had a performer dressed as a leprechaun handing out beads while greeting us at our table. His name was Crazy Bob and he was very entertaining.This was one of the smaller crowds where we’ve seen the Menus perform and it was nice because we got a table up front and were able to dance. The Menus knocked it out of the park, awesome performance and they were interacting with the crowd. It was Crazy Bob, the leprechaun that really made the night for us. Between sets, he performed a couple contests with the crowd. Lots of laughs! It was funny watching our friends entertain us, we haven’t seen a bar that had contests like this in years. Bravo Moonshine Nightclub and Crazy Bob! I wish we lived closer or that we had a place like this where we live.The Moonshine Nightclub was very clean, bathrooms were new and well maintained, nice lighting for the band, and mood lighting throughout the bar. There were lounge areas for relaxing with groups of friends. Several games and a pool table too. The service was good and friendly, even had bar tenders come out to our table to check on us. We had eaten before arriving, so I don’t know anything about their food. There was a food truck when we arrived, but it left early. It was cold and windy outside and I didn’t see anyone in line for food when we arrived.I would highly recommend the Moonshine Nightclub in Fremont for a night out with friends. And watch for the Menus performing throughout Ohio.

This is an awesome looking place as soon as you walk in. There’s lounges, tvs, games, a bar, and tables to sit and eat. The food is amazing!!Just know that there is about 4-5 bar staff but most just stand around talking. When ordering to eat there they do not walk up to you at your table you order the meals and drinks at the bar and then go sit back down. We came for 2000s night last night and got there about an hour and a half early, so it wasn’t busy at all but we still stood at the bar and had to wait 10 minutes for someone to walk up to us and say “you need something?” So we could finally order food. If you offer a pretty nice selection of food I would’ve assumed you actually had a waiter/waitress, but that’s fine.After the event started it took an hour out more to get served at the bar. Most of the staff was complaining and talking with each other and a couple people at the bar or serving people that just walked up rather then people that have been standing there with money in their hand trying to get their attention. They weren’t very friendly either. & I can understand an event like this could be stressful so I could excuse it if the service didn’t also suck when it wasn’t busy at all. The food did get done fast though so I’ll give them that too!The atmosphere was amazing. The group was mixed of all types of people. Older, middle aged, younger, & everyone was just vibing together. It was an amazing time with so many good vibes from everyone there. Definitely coming back!!

Went with my wife on Superhero night got some of the themed drinks, the Amazonian Punch and Widows kick were great. Atmosphere is always very great. The pretzels and nachos and tacos were good pairs with alcohol as usual. 10/10. But most importantly our bartender Marc was very attentive. Ive been to Moonshine several times beforehand and most of the time I spend waiting to be noticed to get another drink or food ordered. Attentiveness is easily the most important quality of a bartender and not only did Marc do that, but also made great drinks and found time to make good conversation with myself as well as other customers. Will definitely be back more often.

Bartenders were awesome! Drinks have fun video game themes to them. Atmosphere was perfect for getting a few drinks, watching some football, and play pool. Would love to go ahead when Im in the area

This is an $8 sandwich! 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ comes with $1 bag of chips. Never again!Decent atmosphere to watch football though. Just eat before hand.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. All the staff is Amazing and they cater to your every need! Being an employee here has been my favorite place to work.When I was hired to run the security team, I really had no idea what I was walking into. I walked into a family atmosphere where we do everything together now.I was given complete trust to build and train my team. Together we made this the safest bar in town, a place the public can come and enjoy our amenities with their friends and family. I’m proud of what we accomplished so far, and it’s all due to the trust, respect, and love given by the entire establishment.

Went to MoonShine Nightclub for the first time last night and I was VERY impressed with EVERYTHING!! The bar manager was a nice, respectful and enjoyable person, with a very welcoming personality. All of the staff from first walking in the door, to the bartenders, bouncers and entertainment were very kind, and welcoming as well. I dont normally leave reviews, but hands down Heather and the staff deserve credit where credit is due. Thank you all and looking forward to coming back and having a great time!!

The atmosphere is cool but we waited 30 minutes for drinks and then when we got them she didn’t tell us how much our drinks were so when she came back with our change we just told her to keep it and she rolled her eyes and gave us attitude (Im unsure why). Unlikely will I go back because the service was garbage. We also had to pay a $10 cover charge just because a band was playing. They didn’t even have stools to sit on at the bar so don’t wear uncomfortable shoes because you’ll be standing the entire time.

This place is without a doubt THE spot in Fremont right now. Hell in this whole area tbh. It has everything you need. Family friendly until 9 with plenty to entertain younger kids and older kids too. Of youre looking to celebrate anything, or even just have a few drinks in a spot with great vibes. This is the place!!! Live music on Thursday nights, private lounges you can rent if you have a group and want to have some privacy and a guaranteed place to sit. Occasionally have some bigger bands play on weekends and it gets packed!!! But the bartenders and servers there are always moving!! I have always gotten phenomenal service here and will recommend this place to everyone I know

As someone who works in the restaurant/ bar industry I would never recommend this place to anyone. For a BAR, or “nightclub” to attempt to charge $4,000 worth of food is just ridiculous and sad! Then to deny that they attempted to charge that much and blame it on people “being drunk” is a scam. There was a party with not even 75 people there and they attempted to charge the party for 75 pizzas, 75 orders of chips and salsa, 75 orders of wings, and 75 soft pretzels. A meeting was held before hand explaining the food situation and budget, and as a server I will ALWAYS communicate with my party and let them know if they are being charged for more items instead of doing it behind their back. Let alone charging them for items they never received! On top of paying double for under poured drinks, and double for beers! No one complained not one time. Will never have service from me again, which I get won’t necessarily hurt the business but I’ve heard stories of other people being over charged too and think people should know what these scam artist owners are doing to innocent people who work for their money!!

We were so excited to see a club like this in our small town. A place where we can play games and eat food with the kiddos or go out on a date without them for drinks. Well, they kinda hit the mark.Games: funDrinks: deliciousFood: the most bland execution of flavorsWe wanted to love this place and tried this place out, twice. I could go on about how poorly the food tastes, but they didn’t offend me. I hope they see this and take a hint. Their other venues have far better food. In case they are reading this, we’ve had:WingsPizza(several)BurritosQuesoAll terrible.

Cramped during concerts plus charging people to sit down on couches and chairs. Staff made it nice. Over heard maybe an owner saying the right people will pay that price. Your customers are supposed to be valued not price gauged.

Absolutely love this place. Everyone there really makes you feel welcomed. I’m so glad they opened it!! The bartenders are amazing, the managers are amazing and overall just a great place to be in downtown Fremont! 🔥🔥

We went there for the buddy the elf breakfast, made reservations like restaurant requested . When we got there, I asked about our reservations and was told they didn’t have the tables set up for reservations? so I was confused about the point in making a reservation when the tables weren’t set up that way. Was not offered any other solution, so we decided to leave because we didn’t have the proper accommodations for our youngest. We really wanted it to be a positive first experience with Moonshine, but unfortunately it was not.

With all due respect the execution is not the best, they have good staff that is trying their best but the people that opened this place give off the impression that they had zero experience operating a night club. idk if the menu is the same as opening weekend but they had smothered burritos... at a bar. I studied hospitality and food pairing with drinks is so important. Table clothes are an... interesting choice. Point being, elroys is successful, scarpettas- also successful. moonshine is that of a dumpster fire. Just because you can operate a restaurant doesnt mean you can operate a nightclub, respectfully. If ANY real nightclub competition came to this town, they would be so screwed. luckily their only competition are these dive bars that the clientele they are targeting would seemingly never step foot in.

I have worked at many places and have been to many places in my life and I could honestly say they make EVERYONE feel like family. The owners are great people and Everyone makes the place a nice family oriented place. I enjoy coming in there everyday

The nachos were the best we will definitely come back and next time I will be the kids I can have grown up fun. While my kids can play Minecraft or other games on the four TVs. Skeeball basketball pool darts and much.

Had my daughter’s birthday party in one of the VIP pods, her and her friends had a blast! There’s something for everyone, and the service was amazing. Great food, good drinks… you can’t lose 🥰

Moonshine is the place to be in Fremont, Ohio! Tuesdays they have karaoke. Thursdays they have bands. Friday they have Dj Werk-it !(The best Dj in Fremont) And on Saturday they bring in the best bands in OHIO! Just to name a few...The Menus! Old Skool! Master T.C.& the Vistors. Country stars Jason Nix, Josh Melton, Mark Burke. And coming soon Billy likes Soda, Disco Inferno, Stranger than fiction, and many more! Moonshine also has Keno! Video games, pool tables, dart boards and delicious bar food and drinks!

One of the nicest and most energetic clubs I’ve been too. The atmosphere is amazing too with lights everywhere and games at every corner would go back again!

Would not recommend this place to anyone!!! Especially if your planning on renting out a vip area. They over charge and under fill your drinks. If you have any problems you were just “drunk”, even tho I was with multiple people this night that didn’t drink and recall the night the same way. They are a scam!!!

This place is incredible & very welcoming! It has everything you could want for a night out! I love being able to say i work here. Over all such a great place!

Very clean and nice experience. Lively on the weekends, and laid back for family’s on the weekdays! I would definitely recommend for a night out and drink specials!

Basketball hoops! Skee ball machine! TWO pool tables (when there isn’t an amazing band playing!) ….. Huge dance floor. Great staff!!! 🏆

Its a neat place and a nice addition to Fremont. Only complaint, our group didnt get a good mixed drink all night.

The service was mediocre. A contract was in place but they still over charged for food. Then gave us a hard time for calling out their error. Ended up still over paying.

Thursday night is Karaoke night and Is very laid back, so if youre afraid but want to, then this is the place for you. The two d js running it call it no pressure Karaoke and thats the truth.
