So I like massages. In town on vacation, wife wanted a nap so I got a massage. And might I say it was awesome. Ive had lots of massages all over the country and this one was great. Very professional and really knew what she was doing. If Im ever in town again this will be my go to place.

My wife and I stopped by this place anything we visit Galveston. Bobo is awesome and she definitely knows what she is doing, Id recommend you try it at least once! Well be back!!

The lady asked questions to ensure I had the best experience and I always do. The center itself is well kept, clean, quiet and the staff have all been friendly. I highly recommend for a massage!

My recent visit to Galveston Massage was a mixed experience. While the spas ambiance was pleasant, the massage left me feeling more sore than when I arrived. Tipping culture is getting out of hand, with the therapist suggesting a $20 tip each, despite our initial lower suggestion. I believe they should just raise the pricing $20 vs asking for $20 Tips!

Went in for a couples massage recently.Pros: The man worker did a wonderful job in completing my deep tissue massage. I also liked that he did not talk much and just focused on strained areas.Cons:1) The lady worker talked often while doing my husbands massage.2) A customer walked into the establishment wanting to shift her appointment to an earlier time, which resulted in the lady abruptly leaving out to address the customer.3) My husband mentions she was being extremely aggressive with the massage and left feeling intense pain in his back.4) The lady requested a higher tip for her poor service. I ended up leaving roughly a $20 tip only due to the service of the man.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I am leaving 3 stars only for the service I received from the male worker. If you do choose to use their services, have the male worker do your massage and have cash.

I needed a good massage, and I received a good massage in a very clean and quiet room, by a massage therapist, and she did a great job, with working on me, and asking all the time if I am okay or do I need more pressure.

Had the most horrendous experience that I’ve ever had while getting a massage. I have been here in the past after finding the massage parlor on Groupon. I figured I would give it a try since there was a good deal. The first time I went was a great experience, had no issues and always said I would go back again since they have Groupon deals often. This time was a completely different experience. Scheduling the appointment was easy and hassle free but everything was horrible during the appointment. For starters, the masseuse talked the entire time so I could not even relax or enjoy the spa music that was playing. Secondly, she made weird comments about my body multiple times throughout the service, which made me very uncomfortable. Also, I asked for light pressure but she was still very aggressive. During the massage, she made a comment about making sure to a good job so she could get a good tip. And finally, after the massage, she asked how much I wanted to leave for a tip and I told her the amount and she suggested a higher amount. Seriously…Who does that? After the horrible service I received, you should be grateful to receive a tip at all. It seems that I am in even worse condition than I was before the massage. When I take the time to book an appointment and pay for a service, I expect to be treated a certain way and this experience did not at all meet my expectations. I am completely baffled and I will never go back to this establishment again nor do I recommend them to anyone else.

So I went here today with my mom for her birthday. The lady at the front was very sweet initially. We asked for Swedish massages because we didnt want anything too rough. We received the opposite. I told the masseuse he was hurting me and he did not stop. After, me and my mom were not in any pain and felt pretty good. So we chose not to complain about the roughness. Now were about to pay and leave. This lady at the front blew my mind. She tells me the total and then asks for a tip. I dont like that but Im like sure and I give an amount. She proceeds to say, you enjoyed your massage right? Give us $20 eachI politely say no maam and repeat the offered amount. I kid you not, me and this lady went back and forth 5 times!!! And when she seen I was not changing my mind she gets upset with me. It is hard times right now but that is NOT the way to go about getting a TIP!! I was still nice enough to give her something, even tho at that point I didnt want to give her anything. I would not recommend this place.

Mother/Daughter trip to Galveston and my 21-year old daughter wanted a massage...her first one. They fit us in on a Sunday morning and the combo massage was great! He really tried to work the knots out of my upper back and neck but kept it relaxing. 100% recommend Galveston Message! My daughter loved it as well.

Decent and cheap, but I will try other places before going back.Pros: probably the cheapest massage youll find. I spent $50 for an hour long full body and foot massage. They take walk ins. The vibe is super cool. She started with me laying down on my back still clothed, put my feet in a warm water bath, and massaged my face and head (amazing). Then she massaged my feet for quite a while, which I liked. This probably took 20-30 minutes, then I went to another room, undressed, and laid face down on a massage table. At the end, she offered a free hot rock massage across my back and it was actually pretty nice.Cons: She used a hot towel to lay on my feet before wiping them down with it but it was too hot and burned me. She did the same thing in my back and it was too hot for just a second but then felt kinda good. Same with the rocks. There were times when it started to feel too hot but then subsided, so I guess I was always in suspense waiting for it to burn me, couldnt just relax. The bed only had a hole for your face, no separation or hole for your neck, so when she massaged my back, my throat would push into the bed and totally crush it and block my airway. It was hard to find a different way to position, and this happened so many times. And it wasnt even a deep tissue massage, so she wasnt even pushing hard. Overall, I didnt enjoy the back massage. It felt more uncomfortable than good.

Made a last-minute appointment for a massage at the end of the day, and they were very accommodating. Great value for a straightforward massage experience. I plan to return during future visits.

Went in for a couples message and it was fine. My only issue was their comments during the massage. They kept commenting on my husbands body who was next to me and made me very uncomfortable. I tried my best to ignore but she kept going😂, I started peeking and noticed my masseuse was starring at him. I would recommend alone but not for couples. My husband had a great message and I don’t think I was taken care of properly.

My daughter & l went to Galveston last week. I needed a Massage bad. I looked on line & randomly picked this place. He gave me the best Massage with the hot rocks. Only $60 special. Unbelievable. I recommend them highly. Linda Fort Worth, Tx.

I came here expecting a relaxing but deep tissue massage. I didnt expect To be harassed and demanding that I leave at twenty dollars each. She ran my credit card for more than I authorized. I told her we had 2 30 minute massages.thar were $40 each. Thats eighty, she add $20 to that. It costs one hundred and she put $120.00...she keeps trying to run card for more.Now I think shady. Pay,cash ..good luuck

Unfortunately I didn’t get one of the therapists that earned the 5 stars. I told her I was sore, still she put weight and force all over. I kept saying it was way too hard and of course I applied resistance tightening my muscles because I stopped trusting her unpredictable movements, so instead of a relaxing spa mindset it became more of a wrestling match. As a non professional she didn’t have a good rhythm of strokes, instead she would randomly be soft and hard, slow and quick, here and there. No sequence. No symmetry, what she did in one side didn’t follow the other. Half way through she reminded me to pay cash no credit card and I should tip her well because she was taking good care of me. Not sure why I didn’t walk out at that moment. Totally my fault. She kept shoving in the towel and I asked her to pull it out, her response was that this was a professional massage and I had to be covered. At the end she stopped using oil or lotion and it was just a painful scrub, I thanked her and told her I had enough even if the hour wasn’t completed. It was uncomfortable from the first minute and I’m now hurt and way more sore than when I walked in $90 earlier. I often have massages including Thai ones and this is by far my worst experience and not the cheapest. I just don’t understand how local regulations are so tight for some businesses and so loose for others like this one. Walk in under your own risk.

The place is very affordable and they always do an outstanding job! I love Bobo, she is a very skillful masseuses. She knows all the pressure points, and I left feeling 100% better than before I walked in!

They did such an amazing job on my deep tissue massage. I had a lot of pain and they seemed to find my trigger points! She did some amazing head massage thingy that made me feel like I was in heaven 🤣.. love it so much! Def recommend and it’s great pricing. Nothing fancy but does what it’s intended

Great licensed Massage therapists here. Clean place. Ive had deep tissue massage here and they offer free hot stones, too! (No adding of $5-$10 for stones and hot towels.) I paid monthly dues to a chain for many years but this is a much better deal, and if you havent tried the foot reflexology/acupuncture pressure treatments, you will be pleasantly surprised! Free water was provided and they had tootsie rolls!

My sister and I were lucky enough to get a spur of the moment appointment while we were enjoying a weekend in Galveston. My masseuse was Johnny and my sister’s was Bobo. Both masseuses were amazing! Both of us left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! Highly recommend! Will definitely be my go to on any of my future trips!

This was the best massage Ive had so far. Three of us went together to try it out and each of us had an amazing experience. In my opinion, the combo is the best bang for your buck. An hour session for only 40.00. Starting from my head down to my toes. The power in her hands...amazing! This place was spotless clean, decorated nicely, and the employees were very pleasant and attune to my needs. A 5 star experience!

After traveling in our Rv for several weeks we scheduled a couples massage while visiting Galveston Island . Since we normally receive massages at our chiropractors office we were a little cautious about this appointment.We were pleasantly surprised to find Galveston Massage a first rate experience so much we returned 2 days later for additional massages .The facilities were clean and the staff and massage were very professional and we highly recommend this business.

I was fairly put off by some of the other reviews but I had an excellent experience. Melody made sure to ask me if I was okay and also asked me to tell her if anything was too hard. I had the one hour Swedish massage but also got hot Stones Hot towels and the works! Definitely will come back. The room was nice and clean and it was nice and dark so it didnt feel like a hospital and there was pleasant music.

Terrible. The female middle aged masseur exposed the client and said inappropriate comments. The masseur was too rough and didn’t follow instructions to be gentle. She asked for “good tips” during the massage. The client is now bruised and sore hours after the visit.Avoid this place at all costs. 0/5 rating.

To all the negative reviews posted here, nothing could be further from the truth. My girlfriend and I came down for a 4th of July weekend and I wanted to surprise her with a massage. They got us in promptly and proceeded to give both of us the best massages weve ever had. They were super nice and priced amazingly well for the quality. We will be making it a usual trip anytime were down here from now on. Absolutely recommend!!!

I am from out of town. And I am a veteran.. I was in desperate need of some relief from my lower back.. They were able to get me right in and get me back on my feet so I can enjoy the rest of my vacation.. very professional very reasonably priced.AKA some might know me as jetboat BillS performance shop in Tulsa Oklahoma.. I highly recommend them.

Just finished the couples massage and I had the deep tissue massage. It was very relaxing. She was able to find spots that I never knew I had. I came out more relaxed than Ive ever been. Definitely will go again before we leave.

I called and got an appointment within 30 minutes. Johnny was my masseuse and he was amazing. I was having issues with my neck and he was able to help to relieve the tension and focused primarily on my problem areas. Im from Dallas and would consider driving here once a month to get a massage from Johnny. The place was clean and was an extremely relaxing environment which is exactly what you want.

Absolute best asian foot massage! let me help you out here with a little advice. There is a very heavy language barrier. So know what you want when you get there. the best deal for your money is the Asian foot massage which is $30. This actually includes a full body massage with your clothes on. So just ask for the Asian foot massage but understand you will be in more of a public room with possibly other people but you are fully clothed. You will lay on your back with your feet soaking in warm water for about 15 minutes while they work on your shoulders neck and head. Then they will focus on your feet for about 15 minutes. You will turn over and get a full body massage on your back. It is very very intense so speak up if it is too rough! They tend to go on the deeper side when massaging.I paid the $30 and I always tip $20 because $50 is well worth the very therapeutic massage I get.You can get the traditional massage for 60 dollars in a private room which I have enjoyed also. Tip generously as they really work hard!

It was very enjoyable and you feel very relaxed afterwards. The staff did a wonderful job from the first phone call to the moment we walked out the door… My lady and I were very impressed with the team that worked on us; they were very detailed in touching on our muscles… We will definitely be coming back here from Rockdale Tx.

Terrible! Asked for a gentle massage. Can’t even tell you how many times I said ouch and asked again for gentle massage. I have bruises on both shoulders from this strong arm massage. Never again and for sure will tell friends and family to go elsewhere.

I wanted to let you know in advance that these women will con you into giving them a big tip before you leave. The massage (decent as it was) is $60 a person and takes an hour. I was of the mind that no tip would be required given the high price of the service. When my wife and I was leaving after our couples massage, the women said, tip? Then tried to compare their services to those of a waiter. I originally offered her 4 dollars and she said no, we cant take such a low amount as a tip. So we stood there a bit dumbfounded and asked if they could break a 20. They said they could, grabbed the money, thanked us very quickly and escorted us out. By the way...they do not understand English at all. Save your money and go to a different one. P.S. Im not just a guy that likes to complain. I wanted to warn anyone thinking about going here.Update: Later that night, my wife and I noticed a big red yelp on her back from where they put the hot rocks. Not sure if they did something or didnt do something they were supposed to, but she says it burns and itches really bad.

Similar setting to other foot massage places. Always on a busy street and well priced. I got 90 min combo and I feel like a new woman! Their body knowledge is off the charts. The massage therapist was so small but she was strong like a buffalo. She found every knot and worked in some hot stones. Perfect for destressing and turning you into jello. I will come here everytime I cruise.

I went in to get a massage because my knee was hurting and both my calf and thigh muscles were very tight. BoBo gave me a massage and told her of my problems. She gave a an excellent massage and then focused on my hurting leg. Wow, she had me pain free and muscles relaxed when I left. It was incredible. I highly recommend BoBo.

Very interesting massage place. Before I elaborate on how much I dislike this place, let me just say that the massage itself was mediocre. Ive had better and Ive had worse. I rate two stars because of the uncomfortable table and the uncomfortable attitude displayed by my massage therapist. The table for which I layed on was too firm and the face hole was, at times, painful. Secondly, my therapist did not display any modesty for myself. She takes the towel from off my back and says roll over, not giving me any warning. Lastly, I generously give her a $5 tip for which I thought was a good tip in relation to the service that I experienced. The lady looks at me with a condecending look and says, I deserve more because I gave you a 1 hour massage. Disgusting and will not come back nor reccommend to my friends and family.

I’ve had many Asian massages. I called this place and they told me it was a deep tissue massage not an Asian massage. We decided to try it out, anyway. We were both very pleased to say the least. Both ladies Manadee and BoBo were very strong and did lots of stretches which we both liked a lot. I’d still say it was an Asian massage even if they don’t. We highly recommend the place. Very clean and professional.

They ask for cash and the message person kept on yelling in my ears asking for a good tip while massaging. That is so very uncomfortable and on top the massage was pathetic to say the least. Bad experience would not come here again as these guys are pretty corrupt.

Great massage!!!. Got the deep tissue and it was the most comprehensive massage hitting all the muscles. However this is not a relaxing massage but more of a get those crunchies out/maintenance massage. You will feel some hurting especially of you havent gotten a massage in some time. if you want relaxing massage get the Swedish. I exercise frequently so it was perfect to get my body back to where it needs to he for more exercise.

This is a Great place! They don’t have very many reviews so I was a little worried upon going in. Afterwards I am completely satisfied and will go back next time I come to town. The ladies don’t speak English well but that was ok, I wasn’t there for conversation. My massage was done by I think it’s bamboo, was her name she was absolutely knowledgeable of the body and her job. If you visit you should leave a review. I also liked that they were open later than other places so it fit into our busy schedule. Thank you again!!!

I went in today with my dad July 25 2020 at 6pm everything was going good until the a lady that was massaging me with a orange shirt asked me who was paying me or my dad I told her “I’m paying for both” and she said “you are leaving a good tip right” while she barely started massaging me I felt uncomfortable and couldn’t enjoy my massage after she said that I’m reading other reviews and there’s people having the same problem and the worst part is they keep replying saying they will fire the lady but she still keeps doing the same thing over and over horrible place to go 👎🏻

My husband and I stopped in for a combination Thia massage and reflexology. We both really enjoyed it and where very relaxed afterwards. Very reasonable prices. Also they accommodated walk ins. If visiting Galveston make sure you stop in.

Ok I would have given 5 stars because the quality of the actual massage was amazing!!!! However, the reason I’m giving 3 stars is because during a couples massage all the ladies did was talk and laughing in their native tongue. My girlfriend and I felt like that was unprofessional. Also it was 1 hour and I still have them a 12.50 tip each. Soon as I handed the lady 25.00 cash to split she slammed it down on the counter and shouted in her native tongue and said something??? They could be the best but their behavior and unprofessionalism cuts them short.

Called ahead of time to book 4pm appointment. Get there at my scheduled time. Two women were arguing in their native language. Guess they were confused about my appointment. Left my telephone number as proof that appt was booked. It was in their phone call log. Very unprofessional. The person i spoke with did not book it. They wanted me to wait another half hour. No thank you.

My husband and i got a massage, he was happy with his but not me. the lady laughed when i gave her a $5 tip. Shr wanted more than $5. never going back to this place. learn how to massage if you want a better tip.

This place had great reviews and prices. Unfortunately I did not have that experience. The message was not a Swedish message it was more of a torture fest. After 5 days the knot in my back is starting to go away. Trying to tell the lady gentle easy several times. There was a language barrier.

Great massage by Melody. The prices are very good and the rooms are clean. I had a deep tissue with trigger point massage and it really helped with my rotator cuff surgery.

The lady that did my massage give me a good massage BUT she made me very uncomfortable at the beginning of my massage when she kept making the same comment over and over again... Ill take good care of you and you take good care of me with a good tipshe said at least 5 to 6 times DURING my massage so it was pretty hard for me to relax and get comfortable enough to actually enjoy it... kinda Weird experience 😔

Massage therapist were very rough. We told them we wanted easy massage but we got elbows & body weight. We were in pain/bruised for days.
