Bartender with glasses “rodney” his ego is to high, my friend ask him if she can be served by the girl bartender, i guess he’s feeling was hurt and told everyone to not serve us. grow man acting like a female he’s too old for that, get a real man job.

The club was very awesome had a very very good time for wife birthday in good drinks bartender very friendly and nice a good place to hang out. ❤️❤️❤️ Music was good my wife dance All night.

This place was so cool for my girlfriend and me. Staff and service was great. Good atmosphere all around. We’ll be back!

Came out for a friends birthday on Saturday 7/29/2023 and Danced all night long! Drinks were great, music was amazing and we loved the Barbie theme! Ladies get in for free before 11!! I loved how they did bottle service for the people who got sections. Thinking about getting one for my birthday. Will be returning for sure!

My wife and I used to love this place. Were local and loved going when it was Bliss. We went on 07/29/2023 and the DJ wouldnt let a song play for more than a minute. We remembered why we left the last time we were there (a few months ago). It was because the DJ kept changing the song every single minute. He would never let the song play through. The DJ sucks there.

We were there Saturday June 3rd and the DJ was the worst thing Ive ever experienced. He made every song transition feel like running into brick wall. It was all R&B, no EDM, no fun drops. The bouncer let me in for free so that was cool. Im guessing they usually have $5 cover for guys, free for girls. Never bring that DJ back.

As a black woman, I had a hard time getting a drink at the bar by three different bartenders.

Went here for the first time, if you’re under 21 it’s a $10 charge. The people arrive around 11:45PM according to the bartenders. The music is okay, at first it’s good but then it gets boring by the end. I wish they included more genres especially reggaeton! Everyone here was cool, but music should go up a notch.

Music sucked, dj gotta mix it up and put some jams for the Latinas. It’s only hood music and soo childish.

3 bartenders stared us down before the fourth served us. We ordered 2 Hennessys on the rocks, one w/ a splash of Pineapple. She said it was 39$. When asked how much it was for one, she said 15$. So how does 2 come out to 39$???? Where did the extra 9$ come from? Point Im tryna make is to pay attention to what you order & ask alot of questions. We ended up ordering 2 margaritas. She said it wld be the best we ever had. I wasnt impressed cause were watered down like crazy.

Envy is a fun bar. Good music and the owenr is so nice.Fun spot for sure.

I had yesterday visit over there. I asked a point. Counter girl said 5$ for a beer. I took 2. So it must be 10$. But today I can see in my CC it is 25$.It is wrong. They charged 15$ extra.It was first time visit and last visit to them.

This place is a dangerous, whoever is running it better fix it before someone gets roofied. Manager kept trying to buy me a drink and wouldn’t even let me grab it first, very sketchy. And refused to serve the friend I was with and only wanted to give me a drink. I was so nervous I threw the drink away and we immediately left. Never coming back again.

Went here for a bachelorette party, arrived at 10:30 because there was no cover until 11, as stated on a giant sign outside the door. Upon checking our accounts the next day, we discovered we had all been charged an extra $25 beyond the drinks we purchased. That doesn’t sound like free cover to me! It does sound like a shady scam, which makes sense as no one in their right mind would pay $25 to watch one man on the dance floor dancing to god knows what kind of music. I’d only come back here if drugged and bound.

1/5 stars strickly on how this below average club is ran. Music could be amazing but for some odd reason the owner does not appreciate latin music or want this place to turn into a “latin club”. Take that comment for what you will, but I’m taking it as rude and offensive. Also one of the owners(can’t add first name incase legal action is taken) is so worried about flirting with women in this establishment that he can’t even tell the Dj to fix the speakers before he has someone’s ears bleeding before they run out the damn place. You can’t even order a drink without screaming at the top of your lungs! Posted this earlier but the owner threatened to fire one of the Djs from me speaking my mind about the establishment. Best believer I’m keeping my female friends away from this poorly ran business and informing every local I can.

Incredibly beautiful, stunning, outstanding venue. I was blown away by everything . The bartenders were super friendly, the rest of the staff nice. We were dressed in black dresses, high heels, makeup and hair professionally done , it was a perfect night. Would definitely recommend coming here for a date night or celebrating a special occasion, its a wonderful and incomparable experience! LOVE BLISS LOUNGE

Bliss Bar was great and Eric, our bartender, was phenomenal. Not only was his customer service unparalleled, he was intuitive to our needs and made us feel right at home. As frequent travelers to the Galveston area, this may be our new “bar home”! Highly recommend- 5 stars!

We loved it. 21+ get in free and drinks are reasonably priced compared to other bars on the strand. The music was dope, I was able to grind on my man and dance with my girls. 💃I really only have 2 complaints.The liquid marijuana (which is like my favorite drink) tasted pretty bad. It tasted and even had the consistency of syrup.And I do wish that the Dj played a little more new music. More Cardi, Lil baby, Drake. Ya know? But truthfully it was lots of fun. Well be back 😉

Great place! Love the atmosphere..The young girl behind the bar with the stunning eye make up is quick, efficient and courteous, I think her name was Kimmie? Very nice gal..the young man behind the bar that did the tricks with the shaker and cups (throwing and flipping them in the air) is also a keeper, friendly and courteous. I will definitely be back.

We had a great time Thursday! The drinks were just $2.75. After checking out other clubs on Friday night, we went back to Bliss because its clearly the nicest club in Galveston with the best crowd and music.

Terrible place for tourists and locals, Im not sure how this place is still in business. The manager is horrible at his job and could easily be ran better by a neanderthal. He has no customer service skills and only uses excuses to justify problems that occur. The DJ had to step in and offer to pay for the drinks that the employees stole from me in order to make it right..? Come on man, I know youre not from here but you need to learn the American way and stop making others pay for the businesses screw ups. Even your own employees talk down on you.

Low cover and reasonably priced good drinks with a decent venue earns this place 1 star because that DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING IF THE DJ IS TERRIBLE! Played songs 10+ years old with HORRIBLE transitions. Waited for about an hour, FINALLY heard some DJ SNAKE and went on the dance floor THEN HE CHANGED IT TO 90S ROCK!!! SO BEYOND DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PLACE!!!

Beautiful decor and layout. Was excited to go dancing in Galveston. Unfortunately the DJ only played slow country music that no one could dance to. I thought this was a dance and party lounge.The drinks were good. Bartenders were sweet.

4 stars for the friendliness and having a nice size diverse crowd. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the music wasn’t updated and not as diverse. Also a lot of club songs from the 2000s. Simply playing a lot more urban new hot music would be great and not replaying songs so much. I heard the same song 5 times within the few hours I was here. Overall this will be my #1 club to visit while in Galveston. I celebrated my 20th birthday here and made new friends 🙂

The music here slays. I cant say enough amazing things about the DJ. So many amazing mash ups. Its an awesome place to come and dance with your friends! The drinks are about averagely priced for an Galveston bar .If you wanna dance, come here. This is not a lounge or a casual bar. Come to dance and youll have an amazing time!

Me and my wife visit this place every time we are in town. Its nice to be able to enjoy a crowd even early on in the night, were older now so we cant stay up all night, LOL. Service is always fast and friendly even when its packed. Only things is the DJ is terrible, we hear the same 20 songs on repeat all night, and they dont take requests??? Those old Now Thats What I Call Music CDs have more variety, LOL. Great place

Love the bartenders at bliss / envey. We are locals been going to bliss for 7-8 years. The only issue we have ever had had is with Israel / floor walker sometimes door personel.

Staff was super nice, bathrooms were clean, atmosphere was fun, but the dj always plays the same music. Its good music, but I dont want to hear the same exact songs each time I go!

Great club, good drinks, and they also held onto my phone and wallet when I drunkenly left it behind! They’re amazing, I would recommend paying them a visit! 😄

Hands down best experience Ive ever had at a bar, friendly and knowledgeable bartender I make it a point to make the hour and a half drive to Galveston just to come here. I definitely recommend this place. Ill be back often 👍

Most unprofessional place, the bouncer asked for our ID’s & we told them that our friends had them that we would call him to bring them and the bouncer came back took the drink from my friend (shes 25) and shoved her out. He was so rude and cussed us out. She grabbed my friend from her shoulders and pushed her out. He was a Hispanic male that clearly wasn’t raised right. I will NEVER go back. Disgusting.

Small drinks , drunk people asleep at tables , did not take request even for bday girl and DJ did not know how to mix beats .. high to low and songs no one knew .. I expect better I rather drive downtown to have better music. I rather spend my money somewhere else

The Bartender didnt get the drinks right at all. One of my friends asked for a Long Island iced tea and the bartender gave her a margarita🤦‍♀️ and my other friend asked for cranberry vodka, her drink was 90% vodka. 😝 it was horrible!

They will kick you out for other people starting fights. Will not be back.We got kicked out after some guy was shoved into our party by another party. The guy who got shoved into us walked off and the party trying to start the fight started trying to pick a fight with us. Then the bouncers came and kicked us out, including our designated driver who had nothing to drink and is a police officer with Hitchcock Police Department.They eventually kicked the other party out, but they should have kicked them out in the first place and it would have solved their problems.

The best night club in Galveston Tx. Make sure you find Hadrian when you go he is absolutely the best!!

We always come here for Mardi Gras. Cheap strong drinks and we can always get an outside table where the action is. Staff is friendly and the restrooms are clean.
