Massage Envy

Beware of scams and bad management. My husband came in and purchased 2 prenatal massages- he was told this was enough to get “2 Weekday Massages” or “1 Weekend”. After the 1st 60 Min Massage, we were told that this offer was false and he misunderstood. They did not provide a resolution and their only resolution was to provide a $10 enhancement which is just another lotion added to a massage. Will not be going back to this location. Rachel the therapist was very nice but do not recommend management here or purchasing a gift card unless they write down their offer due to false promises. There conveniently was not another manager or anything they could do for me cause “it wasn’t in writing”.

I went for mother’s day with my mom and sister. i booked myself a facial and i was nervous, at first, but i loved it! jenny, my specialist, was very sweet. she’s super professional and friendly, easy to talk to and she knows exactly what she’s doing. she offered skin-care tips and answered my questions, too. 110% going back to her!

The management here is difficult at best. Be weary of any M.E. location, like this one, who doesnt answer their phone but you instead get a call center.BEWARE OF THE ACCORDIAN CURTAINMy wife and I joined again... we leave due to lack of good massage therapists. We joined again because we particularly liked a therapist here, but months into our journey there started to be massages on the other side of the accordion curtain in her room... they have a couples massage room that has an accordion curtain down the middle... both sides have a door, but there is the curtain that can be pulled back when couples massages are going on.They should never allow two massages to be in progress because you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the other room. Dont most people go to relax? I dont want to hear the issues another customer has, nor do I want to hear another therapists opinion on this or that.The therapist was not willing to ensure our complete relaxation by moving to a different room when the adjoining room was in use. She felt that she had seniority, she should not have to move. The assistant manager informed me that it was up to the therapist to resolve this. This is so whacked.

I got a massage with Bobby. He was fantastic. I’ve been going to Massage Envy for over 10 years and have been to many locations. What I usually find is everyone has their own routine. Even when you tell them what you need they may spend 5 minutes on that area but then they drift into their normal routine. Bobby didn’t do this. He focused the entire 90 minutes on the areas I needed. I will definitely be back to see him.

If you are looking for a service provider who is completely unreliable, this is the place for you. Even though they are supposed to be catering to you, despite having a scheduled appointment, they tell you that your time does not matter and essentially give you the middle finger. All of their management believes that they should be able to reschedule your appointment because it is convenient to them, and they are lazy and want to go home early. Multiple times I had an appointment rescheduled without my consent and an appointment cut short to fit in to their early close.

This was my first professional massage, and it was absolutely incredible. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by Audrey who was a great help answering all my many questions and was very pleasant to interact with. Liz went above and beyond to be professional, respectful, communicative, and friendly. Absolutely will be back! My only complaint was the call service, that was my only issue, with them being very hard to understand, and signed me up for a membership I did not want, against my knowledge. I almost gave a 4 star review because of this, but after talking with Audrey and the staff in person, they were quick to help me try to get it resolved. They are working diligently as we speak to keep me from the unwanted payments. For that customer service, 5 stars!

Daniel was absolutely wonderful! He truly listened to my concerns and customized the massage to be just what I needed. I have been nervous to get massages since my chemo port place, but he was so cognizant of it and made sure I was comfortable with anything he did that was near it. I also appreciated that he explained the massage and my body’s condition and response to it, and the home care to keep my muscles relaxing. I am very particular on my massages and therapists, but I finally found one I will become a regular with! (If he has times open now that I’ve “outed” his skill) 🙂

Liz N is amazing! I’ve been going to her for years. She always asks how my body is doing and what I want from each massage. Then she actually changes her approach to fit want I need!!

My third massage with Kevin! Such a blessing with pain relief! I’ve had a recent knee replacement and I’m thankful how comfortable Kevin is in helping with my recovery process.Really enjoying our memberships! Thank you Isabella for your help in signing us up and checking us in!

I pulled a muscle in my back and immediately booked a session. Kevin was recommended to me, and I’m so glad he was available. My massage was magical! He spent some time stretching before gently attacking the problem areas. I booked an appointment with him the following week right away. Hands down the best massage of my life so far!

Nate was awesome, he got the tension right out of my shoulder so I could breathe easily. Great conversation, made sure I was comfortable, and got me feeling relaxed. Audra signed me up for the monthly plan (a no brainer honestly) and everyone was extremely caring and supportive. I will always send people over to this location!

I was very disappointed with my time with massage envy, they were not upfront pertaining to contract obligations, they tell you one thing and once you are in they change it. I was stuck paying for an entire year with them and only went 2 times, I lost over 20 sessions because I was informed at the beginning if I was unhappy with the contract we could opt out which changed when I went to opt out. Later I was told I could cancel the contract on a specific date then told I couldn’t had to wait until the charge my account one more time , then once cancelled I was informed I had 2 months to complete 20 sessions or I would lose them and they could only be done at the specific location since it’s where I signed the contract . So overall I lost 20 sessions due to this the company itself is very deceptive and they do not stand behind there word. Make sure if you go to sign up or join them get everything in writing before hand because the contract may say one thing but they will tell you something totally different just to get you to sign up

Not always easy to schedule and sometimes gets canceled but amazing and relaxing when you get to go

Jennifer provides a high quality massage each visit and her technique helps to alleviate muscle tension. Jennifer makes me comfortable before and throughout the massage and she asks about tension areas to target before she begins.

The pressure applied was great. Jenny listened when I told her I wanted as deep as she could go. But the cold thin lotion really lessened the experience. Just when I was relaxed, she’d apply the wet cold lotion. It was off-putting. Next time, I’ll be sure to specify oil.

Mercy is wonderful massage therapist. She always asks what areas she needs to focus on. Love her so much for providing a relaxing environment. I slept like a baby. The environment is relaxing and calming.

Audra was amazing and all around such a great person to talk to. The massage was phenomenal and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get a great massage!

My time has been shorted 2 sessions in a row. Today I only received 38 minutes for a 50-minute session.I did arrive 7 minutes after the scheduled time. But sessions here never actually start on the hour, and theres always a grace period. And even if 7 minutes were deducted, I should have gotten 43 minutes.

This is in response to the massage I received from Brenda on February 5th. Brenda is a true body worker. She exceeded my expectations. I will definitely book with her again!FIVE stars!

This is what I wrote to a group ofMy close friends. “Y’all- I had an AMaZiNG deep tissue massage at the Massage Envy in Garland today! It was literally one of the best massages I have ever had!! I can explain why to was so good when I see you in person…too many details to write in a text! She is absolutely worth the hour drive for me to schedule with her again!”When I went to pay though, we had an issue that wasn’t the fault of the, Garland Massage Envy. It has to do with the call center that booked my appointment & an account miscommunication with my home location Massage Envy in Frisco .The Garland staff is doing all that they can to try & help me with the situation…and since I have been a member for 14 years, I am confident that once I speak with the manager at the Frisco location, they will be able to help me resolve the issue too!😉💆🏻Having said ALL of this, I highly recommend Jamala and the Garland location for an awesome massage experience!*I should also add that I am very particular about my deep tissue massages!

I was a member of Massage Envy Garland for years from the very beginning. My experiences there with 4 ladies I had in rotation was fantastic. Due to the price increase twice in a short period of time I decided to cancel my monthly membership. Maybe I will rejoin (great massages) but I just felt a little taken advantage of. MERCY is always great!!! No doubt about it!!

Mike is not your typical massage therapist. He likes to call himself a mechanic and that is the best way to describe him. He will help you fix some of those deeper issues/problem spots. Don’t expect relaxation, expect pain that will have you feeling brand new after. I won’t ever see anyone else if I can help it.

Kevin is an excellent massage therapist. Very knowledgeable and cares about his clients. Highly recommend.

Daniel was the best! Went in with a lot of pain and couldn’t even walk properly. Came out feeling amazing and walked with ease. Very informative and explained everything. Definitely above and beyond service!

The front desk staff were so sweet and helpful! They took the extra time to get to know me and make me feel welcomed while I waited for my massage. Maria was amazing and took the time to understand my massage needs and left me feeling so relaxed and feeling amazing! :)

I had a horrible headache when I came in for my massage yesterday. Brooke massaged my entire scalp, facial muscles and down through my neck and shoulders until my tension and headache was relieved. I am finally feeling so much better after so many days of putting up with tension getting worse, Thanks Brooke!!

Everyone here was amazing and made it one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at any massage envy (and I travel consistently so I’ve visited 20+ locations across the US)My massage with Nate was one of the best I’ve ever had and my facial with Ally was also an incredible experience. Highly recommend not only these two providers but also this location if you’re looking for a 5⭐️ experience!

Brook is amazing. She is so sweet and kind and took a lot of time to address my problem areas. She made a point to check in with me during the session to make sure everything was going well and I was happy with everything. I will definitely be back to this location, just for her!

This is my second time going to Fallon and she is super amazing. I took me a little nap while she was working. It was great that she had the bed warm when I got there. Everything about Fallon and massage envy is wonderful. I went to work feeling so relaxed that I told everyone. I will be back and have a few people with me as well.

I wanted to schedule with Tony but he was not available. I got Big Mike yesterday. WOW OH WOW he can really work you over. He got my knots out in 1 visit. So far the therapist people here are wonderful. I will definitely be back to see both Tony and Big Mike for my future appointments!!!

Liz is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had and I will continue to send people to Massage Envy because of her exceptional skills and talent! Also the staff / management - specifically Tiffany and Brittany - are AMAZING! I’ve been to several locations and I feel that Tiffany runs one of the most efficient establishments and me and my wife will continue to come there because of her leadership!

I saw Brook today for the first time, and she was amazing! Her technique, and Knowledge of my issues were exceptional. I can honestly say I felt so much better after my massage.

Fallon executes ever time I come in. She works all areas that we discuss and gives feedback to help that area. She has excellent professional manner. She has good conversation to make you feel comfortable, yet also knows when not to talk during session. Fallon is always my go to therapist.

Aubrey at the reception desk is amazing! He is very professional yet extremely pleasant and friendly. Daniel is a very talented massage therapist. He is good at releasing my muscles that have been causing me problems for quite a while. There is a Massage Envy very near my house but I drive to Garland because of these two employees!

The massage experience at Massage Envy was amazing. Friendly greeters and staff. Audra did my massage. She was fantastic! Really helped me relax and feel comfortable!

Callers beware... Doesnt matter which location you call, all calls are routed through a third-party call center staffed with sales reps making false-promises and trying to up-charge at every turn. They do not offer to check the availability of the other locations - probably so you dont realize youre talking to a third-party.I booked a COUPLES massage for our anniversary. Apparently this location does not offer couples massages. Would have been nice if the call center rep knew this... Actually, it would have been nice to speak to the actual location to avoid these types of booking mistakes.We also had services added by the call center that I did not authorize. Thankfully, we confirmed our services before our appointment and had the unwanted services removed.There must be a lot of problems with your call center because the staff at this location doesnt hesitate to complain and blame problems on them.As we were checking out, the 20-something behind the counter asked if we would like to schedule our next appointment. She acted offended when we told her our reasons for not coming back and she made no attempt to help the situation.I knew better than to book with Massage Envy. My own fault for waiting until the last minute.

I have been a member of this Massage Envy location for years. Its a hit and miss for me with the massages. However, Ron consistently does a great job. His expertise and skillful techniques left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. I highly recommend him for anyone seeking a top-notch massage experience.

The massage itself was great! I was disappointed that I made an appointment for 2 services and the young lady who answered the phone booked me for the wrong service so I didn’t get what I requested and was told to reschedule. Apparently the type of facial I requested requires a massage therapist and esthetician license. Sadly, that employee wasn’t here today. It is rare that I get time to do for myself having little kiddos so it was pretty disappointing.

I had an absolute great experience with Maria for my massage and Katie for my facial. Both of their hands are magical. My only wish is if you are having multiple services you don’t have to get completely dressed to move to another room. Maybe they can incorporate some type of robe for those that come for multiple services. I will definitely be back regardless!

Jamila did an amazing job. I felt like I was floating above the ground when she finished. She went above and beyond with recommending 5 min workouts on YouTube which I did this morning. I scheduled another appointment with Jamila and would advise anyone to do the same.Update: I have been seeing Jamila for my shoulder and neck issues and I have way more mobility in both areas. She really knows her stuff!

Aubrey is amazing! His attention to detail and customer service is first class. He took the time to understand my needs and matched me up perfectly with Michael. If you need a trigger point massage to relieve pain, go see Michael. Hes the best at what he does!

Maria B is the best massage therapist and Katie gives amazing facials. You won’t be disappointed with either of them. The front desk staff is incredible as well. Way to go Audrey for always greeting me with a smile and by name too! I love this place.

Tried to book an appointment for the first time canceled within 24 hours. They still charge my car twice. What a scammers. Be careful when you give them your credit card number they will charge it.Again and again

I’ve been working with Mercy every 4-6 weeks for the last year or so. She is very skilled and professional, receptive to my concerns and effective in addressing my problem areas. I would recommend her to anyone who likes/can tolerate deep pressure (if you can find an appointment with her, she stays pretty busy!) And the front desk folks at the Garland location are very nice.

Brook does an excellent custom massage. I feel so much better after her massages. She also has good people skills and aim to help meet her clients massage needs.She’s the best !MA

Jamila is by far the best massage therapist Ive ever had. I have asked for her every time for the past couple of years. She is attentive to my concerns for that day and concentrates on the areas that I ask. She has also become a friend! Thank you, Jamila!The front desk staff has always been wonderful as well. Tony is the best therapist! He listens to what I need, is personable, and a master at his craft. I have MS, and I consider him to be an integral part of my medical team. I’m able to walk more freely at the end of our sessions. He’s also upbeat and positive. You’re in good hands with Tony.

Brook is amazing. I have been with her several years . I had plantar faculties so bad and Brook worked on my feet and I am 100 percent better. Love her the front desk staff is amazing too.

Fallon is the best! They should call her Dr. Fallon, its as if her hands talk to my muscles. Each and every time she knows just where my knots are and every time I go in there feeling tight and sore but come out relaxed and ready to take on whatever comes my way. That woman is a miracle worker and a saint! Worth every dadgum penny. Do yourself a solid and book an appointment!

Audra is an excellent massage therapist. I was much relieved from shoulder and lower back tension. She is a good communicator, courteous, and professional. The Staff at this location have always been helpful whenever I call with questions or to schedule.

Michael is the go-to guy when it comes to specific areas of pain. Do NOT expect a relaxing, calming massage (they have other therapists for that). Michael is all about pain relief and recovery. I saw him a few years ago for problems with pain down my arm, and he quickly figured out it was from a pinched nerve in my shoulder; after 3 visits, the pain was gone. Last week, I picked up something incorrectly and hurt my elbow, leading to a loss of range and ability. After 1 visit, it is 70% better. Highly recommend.

Getting regular massages is a must for me when it comes to relieving pain, headaches and keeping my stress levels down. Maria A. is always my first choice! She is super skilled and she knows just what I need every time! Thank you!

The start of my visit was with Aubrey. Oh my, he has such a cool spirit, an awesome personality and I could have left being happy without a massage due to his kindness. Jeanetta is my knot remover, muscle tamer and tension reliever. She is so knowledgeable and knows exactly what to do to help me. I love the Firewheel location. I’ve been to others locations but this location is by far my favorite and the best!

I fee that she knows her way around post surgery areas and neglected areas of care to ensure you have the best therapy experience possible. I see Kevin weekly to help me with my chronic muscle issues. I leave feeling like I have been to physical therapy (in a good way!) The experience is even better when greeted by Audrey’s smiling face and wonderful demeanor.

Brook works with me on my transverse mylitis effecting my legs. Her efforts well exceed anything even rehab did for me. I’m 68 years old this TM has affected me for the last 2years. Been seeing her for about 4 or 5 months session about every two weeks. My legs feel a lot better thanks to Brook not to say my stress level is almost zero. Thanks to all

I enjoyed my massage with Yvonne and plan to use her again. My account was placed in suspend because my card on file was replaced due to fraudulent charges. Although I had credits for massages that were already paid for, I was unable to use them for the massage with Yvonne unless I gave them a new card to place on file which charged me for another monthly payment. I do not agree with this business practice and plan to cancel my membership once all of my credits are used.

Jenny is amazing at what she does, whether you get a massage or a facial, Jenny knows what she’s doing! It’s to the point, where I only want Jenny to do my massage and facials when it comes to pampering and self care.

Kevin is straight up one of the most talented MT’s I’ve ever had.He always takes it a step further to educate you on how to help your body off the table with specific stretches for your area of concern. He’s developed mastery in technique, anatomy, body intuition, and giving a dope massage.He’s one of the ONLY MT’s to ever successfully break up my deep facia in my back. I’ve had facia logged in my back for nearly a decade and have never felt the relief I did when Kevin was able to release it.11/10 recommend.

Daniel is the best, I almost don’t want to leave a glowing review because I don’t to share him. But seriously he is amazing because he knows so much about the body muscles it’s not only a massage but also therapeutic. He is a body healer and I need him, especially bc I’m a clumsy new mom with a 3 year old and I’m constantly seem to have bruises, added pains and stress on my body. Massage Envy of firewheel staff and business operations go above and beyond making appointments, communications and checking in and easy breezy lemon squeezey. :)

Maria B… amazing! Completely relaxing massage! She is a knot finder and releaser! I usually have a hard time finding a therapist that can actually do a deep massage for the full hour. She was awesome! Definitely plan to book more with her!

You need to go visit Liz. She made a roughly 45 minute massage feel like 2 hours of healing. I dont know why time seemed to go slower, but it was well worth it, and I felt much better afterwards. She was very kind and made me feel very comfortable. This was over a year ago and it has still had a major impact on me. So much so, that I still felt the need to review this place and give Liz a shout-out.

Kevin did a fantastic job! I enjoyed the pressure and the extra kneading type work he did on my neck, shoulders, back and legs! Very enjoyable experience! Thank you Kevin!

Breathing very heavily throughout the massage and I swear she fell asleep at one point when it sounded like she was snoring and stopped moving altogether for a moment. It was so awkward and uncomfortable.

Overall a great experience. It starts with the front desk and Audrey is a joy everytime. Thanks to the whole staff for creating a safe, clean, and welcoming experience!

I will not be booking with this location again. It would’ve been my first experience and due a family emergency I could not attend my appointment. In no way was I informed about a cancellation fee. I’ve been charged twice, and after calling to get some information on how that could be resolved all I got was “It’s policy”. If it was policy that should’ve been stated over the phone when the appointment was made. I will be calling the corporate office tomorrow morning. Thank you for a terrible experience.

Terrible service in firewheel. The people at the reception in firewheel location didn’t even check my appt and sent me to a room to wait. Turns out they had paper work for me to fill out and that wasted 20 mns on my massage. The massage therapist was the only one that showed empathy. Terrible reception staff.

Jamilia, very professionally started on the most painful area and worked the way all around my neck, shoulders, and hamstrings which all proved to elevate the tension one treatment will not be the last just wish I hadnt waited over a week to have this done.I will be booking an appointment again soon

Big Mike is an expert with deep tissue massage. He knows how to get to the root of the issue. Because of his technique, I have more range of motion in my neck & shoulder and I have a lot less pain in my neck & no pain in my shoulder!

Mercy was Amazing. I have been getting massages for 11 years and Mercy is right at the level of my masseuse. I will see her again.

I enjoyed my service. However there was confusion with the front desk and she sent me back to wait instead of filling out the appropriate paperwork. Because of this error I paid for 90 mins but only received 60 mins.

Very poor experience. We booked a 90 minute massage for my wife on her one day off this week. We verified everything the day before and then at the last minute (one hour before her appointment) they moved her appointment to a different day. Terrible terrible service.

I have been going to Massage Envy for several years. Fallon is the only Therapist I see and she is awesome! Everyone is friendly and professional!

I called Tuesday with terrible back pain from the night before. The pain was so terrible I had to take pain medication, which I never do. The young lady that I spoke with to make the appointment listened to my concerns and said she could get me in that day if I wanted, but recommended that I try to wait one day and see Liz. Omg I’m so glad she did! Liz was phenomenal!! She listened to my concerns, made me feel relaxed and when she was done with the massage therapy, I didn’t want to leave. I have received LOTS of massages, physical therapy and chiropractic visits for my back but my back has NEVER felt so good. Liz is AMAZING! I almost don’t want to post this review, because I want her all to myself lol! I will definitely be back.

I recently moved to the area and have been looking for the areas best spa and massage therapists. A friend and colleague recommended this spa and when I had my first appointment I couldnt have been more impressed from sign in to exit. All the employees were professional, polite, knowledgeable and supportive. My Therapist Amy was extremely knowledgeable and skilled in multiple modalities. Her techniques in everything from deep tissue to relaxation sets the bar very high. From day one I knew I was going to be a member for life! They not only showed me but proved to me that my physical, mental and spiritual health was priority! I would just like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and say thank you! Thank you to all the employees from management, front desk staff and all the incredibly skilled therapists. If you have been considering massage therapy and want the best, look no further and give them a call. Youll be glad you did!

I had a wonderful massage and while I was there I wondered why I stopped going there.. until the massage was over and I realized I WAY overpaid for a “60 minute” massage that was 45 minutes long. 80 + tip for a 45 min massage is nuts, won’t be going back.

He is in tune with what is going on with my muscles and knows exactly what to do. He listens to feedback and adjusts as needed. He is very good!

I have suffered for years with neck and back issues. I see Fallon frequently and her deep tissue massages and focus on my pain points help my quality of life.

I would think twice about the Massage Envy location after a disappointing experience today. I have been a member for many years and I have had some wonderful therapists. My complaint is related to the office policy. This morning I woke up feeling a bit off and was experiencing some of the symptoms on the covid questionnaire. I notified them this morning as I had an appointment scheduled for this evening. They had me complete the questionnaire anyway of which I honestly told them of my symptoms and said I wouldnt make it this evening. I took a test as well knowing it was probably sinuses like usual for me and given knowing the safety measures my family follows. They told me I would still be charged a cancelation fee regardless even though with the questionnaire I was prohibited from coming in anyway. I understand the inconvenience of this but also feel that penalizing people to be honest on a questionnaire and not jeopardize others health is in poor taste. I told the store how I felt and they said this was their policy. I will be canceling membership after years and switching my membership to a massage company that shows integrity in their business. How disappointing to say the least.

This location is the best I have been to. Rachel does an amazing job. She is the reason I decided to start a membership. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The environment is clean and they seem very organized. Definitely recommend.

This place has great customer service! I had been missing a ring since the beginning of June. I had looked all over my house for for the past month and a half for the ring and I was unable to find it. I remembered that the last time I wore it was on a day I got a massage at this location. I thought I would call and see if they had the ring, but really didnt think it would be there since it has been over 6 weeks. When i called today I was shocked because they had my ring. They had been holding onto it all this time! I was so happy and excited and thrilled that they held onto it all this time! Thank you to the staff for holding onto it! I greatly appreciate it!
