Absolutely theee koolest place if my daughter didnt drive me here I would still be there lol just so many kool things to look at and I bought some kool kuzeez and ashtray that i still cant believe its an ashtray and havent used it yet cus it is too awesomeLove this place and ppl working here are so awesome and helpful and just an all together badass placeIll be coming back for sure one dayThese are a few things I got that I love wish they woulda had these kinda Kuzeez back in my good ol days lol

I had to bump my 5 star review down to a three. Last time I went in there I got laughed at for asking which vapes were the non disposable kind. Id rather go to mellow moods if they are going to have jerks working at discontent. Your job is to give people knowledge about products not laugh at them.

Been coming here since they were by the mall when I was a kid. Obviously there’s been some staff changes in 20+ years, but this place has never failed me, EVER. If you’re looking for what they’re offering, stop in; great place and even better people.

I have a physical ID, the woman working was absolutely rude. All I did was ask if a photo would be okay. And she said no and kicked me out immediately. Never going here again.Idk why my comment keeps deleting. If its yall Stop.

Called asking about a product, woman was snobby and rude.

Wanted a nice small water pipe. Got talked in to buying one that was $200 and the guy convinced me part of the design wasnt going to cause an issue I asked about. He lied. First time it was used the issue was 100% an issue and its now unusable. They wont even try to figure out how to help me or make it right. Me and my girlfriend regularly spend tons of money every trip on glass pieces and other products there. They dont care about the customers apparently. We wont be going back to discontent in grand forks.

This is an awesome place to shop for herbs to make homemade teas. The candles are great and the trinkets are cool. However, there’s a couple of girls that work there that should not be in the customer service business. They seem like they hate their job, like it’s the worst thing being there, and they can be very rude. Not sociable at all.

We make it a point to add Discontent to our shopping day. Cheapest prices on quality tobacco products. I needed to pick up some items to decorate a “Rock n Roll” themed room. They had everything I was looking for.No matter which staff member is working on any particular day, they’re aways on point and have the answers. Great Customer Service !

Update: as of 2/26 they have truly upped the bar on customer service! Nice and friendly!Today on 1/30/2017 about noonish, I stopped in to buy juice for my vape pen. The young lady that was working was not so friendly I tried to joke with her and try to at least get a smile from someone that was taking my money. Nothing... Stone cold face, acted like I interrupted her day. I will go back because they have nice candles and juice but when I walk in and she is there I will turn around and walk right back out! Other staff have always been very helpful, friendly, and welcoming... not this one...

I love going here as long as the manager isnt working. Shes never been friendly to me and seems like she just hates being there in general. Ive watched her be rude to people just asking for things. Upsetting so I prefer to avoid the place when shes there. All the other employees are gems tho and they always have great deals ❤

I’ve been to many shops like these and this one here blows most of them out of the water. beautiful store, low key, Phenomenal customer only parking right up front (helps in the winter)it has everything you need and then some. the employees are super cool super chill they don’t hound you, they keep back and let you breathe until you’re ready for questions or a purchase. i see some of these negative reviews and i feel like these disgruntled customers probably didn’t have an I.D on them or they are pure haters. Loaded with nice product. great prices high quality items and they always try to get new things in all the time. before you go off some stupid negative review, give this place a shot and see what the hype is all about.

Was here 2 weeks ago, staff was friendly and they had a good selection of products. The nectar collector works great, slightly overpriced imo. The $20 torch lighter is junk and stopped working after 3 days, cant refill it butane spews everywhere. I highly recommend pulling these from your shelves. Would visit again, but as a second option instead.

First time customer there, not only found what I wanted, a loose leaf vaporizer, but the staff was knowledgeable about what she was talking about, didnt try to sell me anything, just patiently answered my dumb questions. Store is clean, well organized with plenty of staff and products.

The music playing was horrible, rude, and obnoxious. The store smells like a head shop in California. That is the negative... the positive is there is a large selection of items and the staff is really nice. I probably wont be back through.

I am seriously such a fan of discontent. Probably one of their regular customers.... I was excited to try the new Delta 8 cartridges.... little did I know that they literally poison you if you consume too much. There are no warning labels anywhere on the box about how much to consume. I barely smoked any of that pen and a few hours later I was violently puking and having diarrhea. Couldn’t call the store cause the line wouldn’t go through and so I let them know about my experience so I sent them a message on Snapchat. Still waiting to hear back! Please be careful with delta 8!!!!!

I love to shop here for incense, and I highly recommend Discontent to my friends when they ask where I got mine! I like that theres such a good variety of scents, good quality, and at a great price. I bought 100 sticks for about $19, which I think is really good for the quality.

Besides not getting my favorite flavor sometimes (I got a few others but I prefer bubblegum, but I have no problem getting something else) I’ve never had an issue here. I don’t know their names but there’s a couple guys who work their and they always manage to make me laugh, which is a big plus in my book

Stopped at this shop twice this week and its byfar the coolest head shop Ive been 2 while working out if town. People snacks and pop when u leave. I wish this place was in iowa.

Stopped in to get a disposable Vape real quick. The blonde working immediately asked me if I had a mask and I said no I told her what I needed and she shook her head no and explain to me that she did not have an extra mask and I needed a mask to make a purchase so I left. Unreal. I cuda been in and out with my purchase in the time it took her to shun me for not having a mask. I will never give them business again.

Bought a nice 20 lighter or my hubby did as an anniversary gift didnt have it 24 hours and a metal piece on inside of it had broken. Went to see about getting an exchange and was told by a worker there that he has a strict policy no refunds or exchanges. I could see that at a certain price level but when you pay 20 bux for a nice butain lighter and it breaks within the first 24 hours of having it then I could see giving an exchange Cux thats all I wanted. My husband bought it for me for our anniversary Cux I collect them so now Im out my Anniversary gift and hubby is out the 20 bux he paid for it.

Great selection, but sometimes employees can be rude. Haven’t had a problem recently which is good, but I still usually prefer the smoke shop by Sam’s club as their employees are friendlier.

I am a recent ex cig smoker (45 days) wanted a cleanse kit. My employer will test me to keep the non smoking premium. Went in the store cashier looked scary and dirty. Told him I had quit smoking (meant cigs) he assumed other products wanted a cleanse kit. Told me to leave the store and never come back. I was completely shocked and asked why? He wouldnt explain other than to say he would be fired. Wouldnt allow me to purchase a single item in the store. He should of took the time to think not all people smoke items other than cigs. Awful customer service, awful experience will NEVER return.. Tell your sales people to take a bath...

I was impressed by the large selection of quality products. I was disappointed by the service. The counter person didnt seem very happy. They also didnt seems educated on the products.

Knowledgeable staff and good selections , especially for vapes. If youre looking for disposable vapes this is your stop. Little pricey for reusable vapes. Better off getting the reusable mods online.
