Eve Nightclub

I love the eve and its by far my favorite place to go on the weekends. I think everyones great there. The bartenders are cool the bouncers are awesome. Big shoutout to Tyler G hes definitely the best.

Best place to dance in gr, so glad it opened back up. honestly tho unsure if it is actually the best place to dance in gr or if i’m just really drunk at the point that i get here every time. but there are tons of bathrooms (unlike some places i know cough cough social house) so 4 stars just for thatedit: unfortunately they now police the bathrooms, person outside won’t let you go in at all unless you are actively using the bathroom even if your friend is having an asthma attack and needs fresh air. there is also a person inside the bathroom policing the stalls themselves making sure no one is in there for too long or there aren’t multiple people in one stall. not blaming the people who are simply doing their jobs, but it completely ruins the atmosphere.

I was at BOB this weekend and me and my wife were having a great time. Until we decided to go use the restroom and while we were walking there, this lady named Brea comes up and asked my wife to stand on one leg out of no where and suddenly asked us to leave. She seemed new cause I have never seen her. I understand your are trying to make a name for yourself at the organization but that doesn’t mean you should be disrespectful to your regular guests for NO REASON. We didn’t bother anyone we didn’t cause any chaos. We may have had a few drinks but does anyone come to Bob to meditate and do Yoga? All of the bouncers surrounded us like we were criminals, now I respect the teamwork and they trusting her judgement but at the same time, who is really validating these decisions? I paid $46 to get into eve and now my hard earned money is wasted just because this lady thought, ohh let me just be the boss. They provided us NO EXPLANATION!!! I escalated this to Samuel couple of times and he seemed to be cursing me behind everybody standing there. You should really treat your guests better who aren’t some teenage hooligans trying make a scene. We come from a very respectful culture and just wanted to have a good time. I really hope these team leads you appoint get some training or atleast have some sort of understanding of inappropriate behavior. I really liked to hangout at the BOB but I am not so sure anymore because the way your security team treated us, I honestly feel threatened that these so called bouncers who act like Mafia’s may pin me down cause I accidentally dropped a glass of water in the future. They need better training. I hope this gets to someone higher up so they really do something about it cause it is becoming a problem.P.s: Also tell Samuel that he doesn’t own the place, he is an employee who gets paid on our dime so at the least, be respectful and considerate.

Very generous pours, bartenders are pretty friendly and prompt but its hard to satisfy everyone when the place gets really busy. I got there early so had no drama or waiting for the stamp and they had re-entry until 130. It was great, loved music mostly, ambiance was like any other club Ive been to in LA or Vegas, and only 5 dollar guy cover charge for Eve. I dont count the 5 dollars to get into the Bob because they have a live band and djs so its not fair to say Eve costs 10. Overall, fun place, lots of peeps, good drinks, and probably the friendliest security squad Ive ever seen.

Bar tenders were always fast to get our drinks to us. They were just ridiculously overpriced but it comes with the area.

Well the Eve doesnt actually serve food... so thats N/A. The atmosphere is extremely clubby if thats your scene. Hormone-infested 21-25 year olds... iykyk. The music is decent with a variety of DJs. The service is to be expected; strict bouncers, expensive drinks. The drinks are average, but I dont think many people are there for the quality of drinks.

The owners description may have been accurate fifteen years ago, but definitely not anymore. This place has not been updated or even maintained... Its outdated and worn out.The walkway into the nightclub is impressive and youll feel like youre walking into a posh club from a movie scene. First thing youll see is the bar, which is not quite as nice. Then youll turn around and find the rest of the space is about on par with a medium-quality wedding venue.The audio in that room used to be very capable. (I know that because several years back, I was an audio tech working on them personally.) But that system has been ill-maintained and broken/worn and its limping. The subwoofers barely even do anything.The lighting situation is even worse... Total lack of effort. A few small, old moving lights. No haze, no lasers, no strobes, nothing interesting at all.The dance floor on the 2nd floor had three times as many people in it, and for good reason. Maybe people liked the DJ better, but the audio was definitely better (and considerably louder) even though its a smaller venue.(I was stunned when I went into H.O.M.E. and noticed it had the best audio in the whole building. Great subs, decent overall sound, and at least a few interesting lights - and its not even a dance club!)Skip Eve. Youll pay extra money and you wont be getting an extra experience, except for the cool walkway.

Was visiting Grand Rapids from Toronto and was told by a few locals to check this place out. I went here on a Friday and it was a good time. They played lots of EDM. Would return If I am in the area again.

The staff was really friendly when we got there. After a while the bartender was complaining about being there because she was tired and she wanted to go home, after that she was being rude and unwelcoming. I would try a different spot next time.

Man this place used to be better three years ago. Currently the eves spot (4th floor) smells like sewer. Needs to be fixed asap. Sorry for the low rating but gotta be honest

The bartenders were all really nice, other than that, the music at NOIR was horrid. Spent the whole evening trying to find one good floor that played music. Dj Kane outside was great, but paid money for Noire and it sucked. Beer selection was brutal as well. What happened to eve 😕

Cool if you like a bunch of 19 year olds with fake ID. Not my forte. Went to GLOW... Felt like it was overpriced and poorly managed. Also the advertising said body paints etc were included. Nope. A bunch of dollar store glow bracelets strewn about a few tables. Really kind of lame.

This place is overrated. Trying to act posh….staff seems power hungry.

I wouldn’t bother going to this place or the bob. From their over priced drinks to ridiculous cover charges. The music sucked and there’s ten dudes for every one girl. Oh and the food looked like something taken out of a dumpster and microwaved.

One of the must stop at night clubs to visit. Its definitely an amazing experience. If you are use to the big city type of club or want to experience one this is the club to visit. Must take elevator to gain access, Awesome balcony walk way to the club. Nice VIP like seating spots. Gets very busy and packed but a must if you love to mingle and talk, music, drinks.

It was meh. The food was good. But it was kept up on during the wedding we went to. The appetizer table would run out and the staff was short, so they couldnt fill it fast enough... being from the food industry and having catered many weddings, it was poor management. There was only one bar tender for the wedding, and she was great... but she could only pour so many drinks so fast and wash glasses. It would have been better if they at least have her a bar back or another bartender.The elevator thing is annoying. Too many people and the system for allowing people up and down for wedding parties is dumb. Wedding parties should have a different colored band so they dont have to wait in that stupid ass long line for the stamp.The DJ was great once the club opened for the public from our private party.

Been here many times and listening to the music is like torture 🤣, my grandma would be a better dj, the music always sucks 😡, and the bathrooms are filthy, what a waste of my Friday coming here😭 , only went cause I was invited but this place is lame !!!!!

Great experience, staff was pretty good about hearing things above the music, and everyone on the dance floor was super respectful about boundaries while also willing to dance. The only complaint is the fact that only VIP were allowed seating. Other than than that, awesome for going and having some fun! Also, shout-out to the elevator guy who was an absolute sweetheart about us needing to get stamps to get in.

A group of us thought we would check it out since we just moved here and were looking to dance. One of my friends was wearing a nice button up, dressy shoes, and khaki shorts. He wasn’t allowed in because his shorts were a little above the knee. I would understand except a large group of girls wearing ripped jean shorts that were extremely revealing slid through with no issues. A guy wearing a baggy t-shirt, jogger sweats, and tennis shoes also made it through with no issues. Interesting...

Eve nightclub looks absolutely nothing like the photos on this page that were added by the owner but the times that Ive been have been great and fun! It is a huge crowd of mainly young people filled in a giant nightclub. There are sections you can pay to sit at. All the drinks Ive had have been fantastic here! And they play great music but they generally play mixes and then skip to the next song before the mix is done.

Over priced and thinks its better than it is. You pay a cover to get into the bar its located in. Then you pay a cover to get to the club itself so 2 covers alone and your allowed to just walk in. The music is stereotypical and EXTREMELY loud. Good luck having any form of conversation anywhere here. The bar is over priced and is almost always 4 people deep so youll be waiting 15-20mins for a drink anyway. I seriously dont know how this continues to stay in business. If it wasnt for 21 year olds it wouldnt.

Great new years eve party. General admission was $50. Only includes entry. Eve (nightclub) entry was an additional $10 at the door. If Eve is the place you want to be, GET IN LINE EARLY! Very long lines as Eve is limited entry. NYE tickets promised NYE party favors but those were never received, not a big deal but hey....I expect what is described when purchasing tickets. VIP section/ couches are available for purchase. These can get expensive. Overall, drink prices were reasonable and party was fun.

My friend and I were getting drinks on the second level bar. The first time we got drink immediately, but when we were done with our first round the girl bartender picked up our glasses and didnt ask us if we needed anything. After that we waited 20 mins while everyone else was served before us. I had to speak up and ask for a drink and she was rude about it. And clearly didnt like us for some reason even though we didnt do anything. Otherwise the service at the EVE was a great experience. We had a lot of fun up there!

Every time we come here we come to go to Eve. We ask if there is another cover to get in and they say I dont know we end up paying $5 a person ever time we just to leave again. Every time I come here I get more and more disappointed with it. Its almost impossible to get into Eve anymore. I would appreciate it if I was told you have to pay AGAIN to get into Eve. And then have to wait in line to hopefully to get a stamp to get up there. Which is very unlikely. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They always scam you to get your money. Pay to get in a bar then pay to get in another bar inside the bar. This place sucks.

Worst experience!!! Don’t recommend at all, me and my friends will not be going back! I wish there was a 0 star because that’s what I would rate this place. My friend ordered some shots for us and as She was paying the bartender told her to make sure She left tip (very rudely) I thought it was crazy she was telling, not even asking but telling us to make sure we left tip. Since she was so rude about it my friend walked away after paying and the bartender threw ice at her, we were all so surprised and in disbelief that a bartender had just thrown ice at my friend. I told her she was being rude and she started yelling at me and she went and got security to kick us out and made it seem as if we were the ones starting problems. So unprofessional and rude don’t waste your time going here.

My waitress/ bartender was absolutely HORRIBLE. The people next to me didn’t pay there tab and as I went to go pay for it she attacked me and threw the drink my fiancé and I ordered. We tried to do her a favor and she was completely disrespectful. I’ve never experienced such horrible and disrespectful service in my entire life. I will never go back to such a place. Clearly the people working here don’t know how to handle themselves. I would much rather hang out at the tavern or a house party before stepping foot in a place like this.

Saturday night.Free for women, $5 cover for guysMostly early -mid 20s crowd.PROS-Semi-large space-Cool interior-Friendly crowd for the most partCONS-Typical awful techno music. People that were dancing looked like zombies. They were not even into it. How about some Hip Hop music. The crowd really woke up when a Cardi B song was played. We have no Hip Hop in Grand Rapids.-BROKEN GLASS ALL OVER THE DANCEFLOOR. I told the bouncer and he said there will be more broken glass as the night goes on. Well make our cleaning rounds later. While I was there, they did not clean up. And one woman fell near me cuz of the broken glass and spilled liquids.-ventilation was not great. It got hot and muggy fairly quickly.This nightclub is just plain boring and disgusting compared to... most nightclubs.

Eve is a cool place. I have probably got bottle service here over a dozen times. There arent too many clubs in GR so this is the best it gets. The bar can take a while to get drinks at time. Ppl can tend to be pretty hostile even if you brushed shoulders as you walk by. I usually see a fight break out every couple of times each time I go. Bouncers do a good jobs of breaking it up asap.

The dress code is that ripped jeans for guys are not allowed but if you have shorts that leave your ass hangin, its perfect fine. No matter if you are a guy, girl or however you identify yourself, because the more of the intimate parts of your body you have out, the better...so the guests of EVE can objectify you and drool over you because apparently thats what that place is for. When you fix your dress code, you can be turned away because of your attitude. On top of that, at least you should stick to your dress code, because the jeans that I was wearing tonight I did wear at eve before.Rude staff, customer service equal to none, consistency with rules terrible as well and gender bias is on top of its game.

Always a great time! I leave completely exhausted each time because I danced the entire night away. Love the vibe, the bartenders work their ass off to keep up with high demand. Never disappoints.

I could DJ better than any DJ at Eve off my 1990s windows pc stereo. The fact they actually book these guys is beyond me. Terrible transitions and moderate trends in music. Please improve your music if youre going to charge a 5 dollar cover

My friends and I entered this establishment after 1am per their bouncers permission. The manager then banned us for 6 MONTHS stating we entered without a stamp. #confused

Overall very sub par experience for a night club. For starters I didn’t even show up yet and the front allowed randoms to use my booth to get up. Also personal preference but it’s annoying they don’t leave the bottles at the booths. They pour drinks then take the bottles away.

The reason why I gave it a 1 was because they really need to do something about the A/C in this place. I started sweating once I walked in. It took me awhile to realize that the girl wearing a sports bra with leggings and suspenders worked there. Once I realized she worked at EVE it made sense to why she was wearing a sports bra. Hell I wish I was wearing a sports bra too. If I wanted to go to a sauna I would have went to one. I am just gald I wasnt wasted like some people cuz that would have just made things ten times worse.

Love this place BUTTT i always see the bartenders especially during peak club hours use a glass cup to scoop ice. With 7 bartenders scooping all drinks with a glass cup it’s bound to chip sometime and get in people’s drinks hopefully they aren’t always doing it

Its no Vegas night club but the bottle service is reasonable. A little on the casual side which is fine for me. It was hotter than hell in there one night.

I like this place a lot, been going for years.Mainly wanted to do this review to point out that the multiple people referencing that Eve plays techno have no idea what they are talking about. There are hardly ANY venues in Grand Rapids that exclusively play techno, and those that do only do it on occasion.FYI - techno is a distinct form of electronic dance music (EDM) pioneered and created by Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, and Juan Atkins in the Detroit area in the 1980s that has evolved over time to be one of the dominant genres of modern EDM. That being said, Eve doesnt play techno. Do they play dance music that sometimes falls into the category of EDM? Sure. But its not techno. Know the facts folks, it helps.

Good place to have drinks and music with friends and meet new people. The eve doesnt open until 11pm though and theres usually quite a line to get up and you have to pay again after already paying to get into the B.O.B

Once you get to Eve, the service is not the best. I definitely recommend getting a drink on the second floor (way more friendly!). An overcrowded, small space but it was still a great time.

Music is still quality (top 40 house), but demographics and vibe have changed. Used to feel like a big city night club, its no longer that feel.

The only place in GR to get that CLUB club experience. Talking long lines, loud music, bottle service, etc. The best bet is to have 5 friends and get bottle service for $190.

I come here yearly for Glowfest! I wish there were more!

Its the top floor of the BOB. On the weekends you can go up for a small price and listen to the new wave techno, dance, R&B, HipHop spun by a DJ

I find myself here now and then. It has good music and great looking woman. It is not cheap so prepare to open the wallet.

Place went way down hill... even the couches are ripped and destroyed. Zero renovations for over a decade. No wonder theyre being sold off!

Bottle service was great. Mary was on point with drinka an service. Rachael the bartender is my absolute favorite.

If youre looking to have some great drinks, dance under some neon lights i highly recommended Eve!

Worst experience of my life, the staff is not only strict as people say, they are completely soulless, they will stare at you as you have a full blown panic attack because they threw you out in the cold without telling you why, drunk and completely alone while your friends are still inside, and not do anything to help you.
