Stir-Ups Parlor & Saloon

Im not super into the country, but they play a decent mix of songs. My issue is its a lot of the same songs, and Ive visited multiple times over the past few years, spaced out a few months apart each time, so they dont mix it up often. The songs also transition abruptly and are often tonally jarring.The staff are always nice and good at their jobs. The shots are small. I think you get more alcohol in the mixed drinks, but its hard to tell. A green tea shot was $7, and the others were $5.As a woman, the atmosphere isnt great as there are always men and often older men lurking around the raised areas on the dance floor. The floor plan invites men to be extra creepy imo. The country aesthetic kinda works in that you feel like cattle packed together in a small space. Ive started seeing security around the dance floor, which is an improvement. The front area is a lot better, but I only come there to dance.Overall, ok, but would be better with some improvements.

I was finishing my drink at the exit - bar close, people were still leaving the bar And one of the “security” smashed my drink on the floor from my hands telling me to leave?? Okay I get it, you’re trying to get people out. I wasn’t trying to overstay my welcome. Many people were still leaving, I just wanted to finish my business and get out. Power hungry A Hole. Half temped to go back and get his name. Fully assaulted, knowing full well that I’m not looking for a fight. I can’t rate less than a star. What kind of service is this?

Went their on my 21st birthday and their the only kind of Bar that has my kind of music and a dance floor! Definitely will bring my bff here on her 21st.

This place sucks, order incomplete and when they completed it was cold. Ask for the check and they still charged me for the incomplete and cold meal. POOR MEAL AND BAD SERVICE. DO NOT GO THERE, waste of time. NEVER AGAIN

Good friends and good tunes lead to making good memories. Though, I do miss that one tall, dreamy, tattooed bouncer that always worked here a couple years ago. Honestly was my main draw. 10/10 would bleed here again

This bar used to be the best place on the weekends. The only good thing left is the bar staff.Its gross now, its like they just gave up. The bathrooms should be condemned, all the stalls are broken, the dance floor is never clean even at the beginning of the night and the bouncers are sometimes too arrogant and strong armed.

Couple weeks ago got renovation inside.I think the best club in Green Bay. Not bright light like in Black Saddle Good enough music, almost always crowded. Good place to find friends.

This place was a blast, the staff was great. Good place to hang out with friends. The place was slower in the beginning of the night (around 9) by 11 is when it turned busy. The DJ was awesome and we left him a big tip. He kept playing music that was a great mix of genres. Keep it up stirups we will come and see you the next time we are in Green Bay.

Really like the size of the bar. Great dancing environment. It is a country bar with a lot of country people. All people were very nice but I laughed that everyone is wearing the same snowmobile jackets. The security at times get a power trip but the bar feels safe. Good service. Knowledgeable bartenders. The bathrooms were really dirty.

The draft beer selection could be better. However, it is a fun place to go and watch people. They have a nice dance floor. There are a lot of small groups of people so it was hard to socialize with people outside of who you come in with. Price of beer and mixed drinks is good. Overall not a bad place.

This place was weird and gave me the creeps. Everyone was packed like sardines on the dance floor, which was also very sticky and gross. never coming back

The overall bar is good which is why it got 2 stars instead of 1 but the DJ here is complete and total trash. This is a country bar but barely plays any country at all. When I put in picks to play they tell me they had people say they play too much country. Dont go to a country bar if you dont want to hear country. This place if they replaced the DJ with someone who actually played good country all night would be great. Until that happens just avoid this place like the plague!!!!

Some of the best night life the easy side of Green Bay can offer. Very few fights occur and are quickly resolved by staff if they do. I feel that it is a hub only because it doesnt have much competition. Bad music selection and average drinks limit it. Also dont go in sweatpants and/or athletics shorts or youll be turned away.

This Bar/Night Club is a lot more fun now. It was always fun before, but extremely improved. It has great bartenders that are friendly, fun, and they make awesome drinks. The building is continuing to be improved, and looks and smells clean. The theam is country music, but plays other dance & party favorites. Three bars inside: Great dance floor with bar. Lots of socializing at the main Bar. The side bar has plenty of games, fun activities, additional room to dance, beer pong, and is not as loud so you can better conversations. It is definitely the place to be on the weekend.

Dance floor was fun, a bit crowded and the prices were city average. Bathrooms were disgusting and service could have been faster. They were turning people away because of attire (sweat pants and t shirts with sleeves cut off). They were iding at the door which in my book is a plus. No cover charge. So so for my overall experience.

Im old school never been in college. But the folks there are darn right Old school to me. And Im almost 59 years old. Sorry I was wrong writing this good review of a bunch of lost souls. Pick and choose what youre about. I read all about the bad reviews of your famous bar only in clown county. Maybe yall need to get out in the real world instead of playing like youre tough and important to your make believe Hollywood script a bunch of actors and actresses looking for attention

Great experience for a night out on the town. I was just passing through for an Acheaology Assocition Conference. It looked like the liveliest place on the block so a bunch of us dropped in for a visit and a beer. We were met by three gorgeous ladies that were handing out a sample of butterscotch whiskey. The whiskey was quite good I might add. I would certainly buy the product. However, I couldnt walk down the street with it. Friendly staff, great service! It supports a younger crowd but, refreshing for a bunch of middle aged folks.

This place deserves 3 stars before midnight and 5 stars after (and probably zero stars the next morning... if you make it that far). Fun place to wrap up the night after youve yeed your last haw at the classier establishments down Washington Street. If you want to flex your flannel lined biceps for the ladies, there are a few pool tables there to do so. My buds from out of town love going there.

Great first time at Green Bays hottest rockin country bar, and even git a free shot along with cheap but good drinks and great music! Ill definitely be frequenting your awesome establishment a lot, especially with the great service and friendly employees! Thank you so very much Stir-Ups! Yee ha!!!

Great bartenders, friendly bouncers, awesome vibes, reasonably priced drinks. Awesome layout. Except the mens bathroom is first, my brain could not get that in my head 😆

Daryl, the head bouncer, and his team keep the place safe and fun. Great dancing bar, good drinks, and all for a good price. Go there for a bachelorette party or birthday and have the time of your life!

Hands down this place earns the title of worst bar in Green Bay. Each time Ive been in here it had smelled of feces. Floors are slippery. A professional cleaning crew could work on this place for a week and not make a difference.Oof, I dont know whats worse, your bar or the defensive childish response you gave because you cant handle the truth. Sad either way.

Not too much of a country bar for music anymore, drinks were expensive for downtown, but otherwise we had a decent time.

First time going out in Green Bay and I heard this place was a good place to have some fun. Unfortunately that was NOT the case! Extremely poor service, the bartenders/bouncers were very rude, and the drinks were overpriced in my opinion. I would not recommend this bar.

Great first time experience *SARCASM*My boyfriend, who drove 35mins to come out for my best friends birthday, was wearing gym shorts and got denied entrance. Sorry I didnt know that our attire reflected the type of people we are or the type of money we were going to spend.Considering I was wearing workout pants as well (but I got in?), apparently this bar is sexist and doesnt advocate being physically active or leading a healthy life style.#stirups #rediculous #firsttime

Pretty great place on a night out. The dance floor hasnt been packed the few times Ive been there unfortunately, but the service has more than made up for it.

Extremely disappointed with the services we had at Stir-Ups last night. First time at this bar and the bouncers were very rude/judgemental. Honestly last time I will head to this bar when going out in Green Bay.

Was in Green Bay for the Packers game and our taxi driver recommended this spot. Absolutely amazing place, friendly staff, great music!

Dance floor was fun after youve had enough liquid courage

Went out with a friend and they turned us away for him wearing basketball shorts. This is the dirtiest bar downtown and they have a dress code.

This was the place to be back there years ago. Managment has changed and the building has improved! Defident the place to be when you are downt town and looking for fun and dance.

The dj is very accommodating and the bartenders are quick and efficient. Great place for dancing and hanging out:)
