Artistika Nightclub

This place used to be decent maybe 10 years ago, now theyve lost all their class. They used to adhere to a dress code and treat patrons better now its whatever and the music is horrible this isnt what it once was and I wont ever return.

The music they play is for black people this is a Latin night club this is my last time I come here thank you I rather go somewhere else I drive 30 minutes to come here but like that I stay close home.

The absolute worst experience. They treat black women like we dont exist or with disrespect. Literally stood at the bar for 30 minutes trying to get drinks for my group as we were celebrating a birthday. The lady at the bar (long black hair plaid shirt and black shorts) Literally passed us up and served everyone else and refused to serve the only black women at the bar. Then tried to say were very busy... which is complete bull! Why are you serving people that came to the bar after us and refused to take our order after i asked is there a reason why we are not being served? I complained to the people the took our entry fee and the guy did try to make our drinks and make the situation right, but I am not buying drinks at a bar that treats me like that. I demanded a refund of our entry fee which we did get. However the entire purpose was to drink for my girls bday and we spent so much time in this bar and not being served we were very upset. It was a waste of our time. Just put that you only serve certain type of folk at the door... you are in a central area of a diverse city and I believe this is completely unacceptable for this establishment to be located downtown of Greensboro and not treat everyone equally.

Zero stars.Honestly, go anywhere but here.First bartender made extra drinks I didn’t order and tried convince me I did order those drinks. I ordered 12 shots and ONE drink. I don’t know if she thought I was intoxicated or what but i was like whatever I paid for it.Second, staff was trying to keep my friends phone. Location stayed it was there, they “looked” and said there wasn’t anything there. We insisted it was and after going back in forth they let us in. Found it right away.Third, friend closed his tab. And forgot his card on the counter. Mind you I would understand if he had forgotten to pay his tab. But No he had paid for it. So we went back to tell them and they said again no it’s not here. We insisted because we had just walked out…they threw it through the door. They were trying to keep his card.I would be extremely careful. The staff is not trustworthy at all.Also I might add the Dj is extremely basic. If you’re looking to dance to Latin music from 2000 and PEPAS remixed 5 different ways. Then you’ll have a blast.Drinks are small and below average with good drink prices. Do yourself a favor and go to dram and draught or boxcar for better and bigger drinks.

This place is so cheap they don’t even give you water for free. They also charged me the wrong amount for my one drink and water. Don’t come here

This place is hit or miss in terms of the music. Some days they have a good mix of Bacharach, salsa, merengue... but other days (like yesterday) the DJ remixes a bunch of songs with a guaracha style, which is really annoying

Underwhelmed. Small place. Large dance floor but hardly no seating. Stayed an hour and mostly women were in there trying to learn bachata from a so called instructor. Parking is awful.

The owners are absolutely wonderful people and they want you to have fun if you encounter any issues theyll try their best to make it right

Friendly, clean and fun.I highly recommend this business, the owners do a great effort to welcome people from different backgrounds, provide an environment full of fun and great music with great drink specials. Their raffles give great gifts, and most of the time from local businesses.I am very grateful for their support to the community, and always trying to be involve on helping others!So, if you feel adventurous and looking for a memorable night, dont hesitate to try it!Also check their Facebook because they are always trying to bring new ideas and dance classes!

This was my first time going to a night club, and I decided to take my girlfriend here. The salsa selection was great and there were even beginners classes for free for newcomers [n00bs] like me. This club does allow people under 21 in, as long as they are marked with a giant X so they are not allowed to purchase alcoholic beverages once inside. They have very friendly staff, and I enjoyed coming here.

I would love to give Artistika more stars, being new to Greensboro Ive heard several great things about this club and was excited to go.Unfortunately, to my dismay I was stopped at the doorI was with a group of friends meeting another group of friends at Artistika.I just got out of a cast on my ankle and was excited to go out with out crutches or a cast. The doctor told me to wear a brace and shoes that would cover my ankle. Wasnt planning on dancing all too much. I did want the chance to test out how my ankle to see how it was going, but I was just happy to be out with friends. I made a point not to wear sneakers, but nice clean shoes that would protect my ankle.Regardless, I was stopped for my shoes. I explained my situation even showed the door man my brace on my ankle, explained that I had other shoes but I had on the shoes I had because of my ankle.Door man wasnt having any of it.I could tell I was getting no progress with the door man and clearly could see that i was at the point where I was not wanted in the club.Told my friends that were with me to explain to the rest of the group what happened and I left with out a scene.I understand dress codes and clubs, but was really surprised and disappointed with this situation.

I have cam here many times and I have enjoyed it. Some nights its full other nights its empty but there is always a good vibe! Decorations are chic, and I love the variety of music!

I have never been in BAR that dont know have where sit down I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

This place has nice music and friendly people. I liked the inside as well clean and neat. The only thing I would suggest to change is the front door security checking I.Ds theres no need to be rude if people arent doing anything not to mention being a smartass and theres only one bar so they need at least 1 more for all the people in there. Expect to wait at least 15 mins for a cocktail.

Best club ever!! Came here twice and had a great time. The music is great, the DJ sure knows his music! Overall it has a Friendly staff and the club is clean

I asked the Security guard if I can make a request because I wanted to hear Bachata. He said we had to ask the DJ but the manager doesn’t like Bachata so they don’t play it . I went and asked the DJ and he said the manager doesn’t like Bachata so he doesn’t play it. Smh. The Bartenders are slowwwwwew and lack customer skills... definitely will not go back.

This is a good club. But I came here a second time. And I was denied access because I had a t shirt. The bouncer told me I looked like a cholo. Ok. I wasnt wearing a baggy shirt that hanged down to my knees. And pants that were baggy. But in his damn head, I looked like a gang banger. I guess I should of put a suit on. thats ok. My money is good else were.

After standing out in the cold for almost half an hour we finally get to the front to be let in and my fiancé was singled out about his shoes even tho several people had walked in with the exact same shoes on and they werent even labeled on the dress code! They are strict about no timberlands and work boots but a man was allowed in wearing those! We also had three people in our group including myself who were all wearing the type of shoes that my fiancé was wearing. The man at the door looked at all of our shoes several times as we were waiting at the front and never once said anything to us. When it was time for us to go in he looked at our shoes again and STILL only told my fiancé that he couldnt come in. I dont know if it was Bc he was white and had never been there before or he just had a problem with him but we will be taking our money elsewhere from now on.

Attention: NO BLACKS ALLOWEDIts all good until the manager or staff see that ur BLACK. Especially the old bald headed manager . RACIAL PROFILING is definitely at This establishment. Turn blacks away before we even get in the door, myself included (twice). Not to mention I have observed them do it multiple times to people that have on the same clothes as the Spanish people. So if u want to get RACIALLY DISCRIMINATED against go to artisikas

Clubs ok. Needs a bit of better music. Service was good. Probably needs a bit more advertisement. Mostly for people who know, how to dance Hispanic music.

The club is....AWESOME!!! I love everything about from staff, music, and drink prices. This is the main club for me and my friends. We love coming here!

This place is racist. They let some girls in and the black girl with them was charged an entry fee.

Line went fast, music is great, staff is great, didn’t wait long for a drink and the prices aren’t bad at all. i loved i.t and will continue to.

The same songs always, extremely loud it can hurt your ears, people fighting frequently, violent environment

I come from Artistika, the DJ is bad, the mixes are the worst, today they charged entry because they were doing disco contests, people were just looking bored because the entertainer wouldnt stop shouting into that microphone we were all looking at each others faces 😒 we just wanted to dance and enjoy and they doing some boring and out of place contests. At the bar they serve with a very bad disposition apart from the fact that they take forever to give you a drink. The dance floor was empty as the music was terrible, I honestly feel like I wasted my money 💴 I ended up leaving the place because its not worth it at all

I am Colombian and I live in Miami, of all the places I have known to enjoy with my wife and friends, this is the worst.I wish I had the opportunity to talk to the owner so that he would find out about the poor quality of person he has working and standing up for his business, it is the place I would never return to and the one I would never recommend....The worst in the United States.....

How is it possible that they let you enter 10 times with the same shoes with the same doorman who checks you when you enter, and then tells you that you dont come with inappropriate shoes to enter, and he doesnt speak Spanish to you but he understands, thats Racism, I speak English but why didnt you tell me from the first time that I was wearing the same shoes that werent appropriate, its not worth it they made me waste 45 minutes to get in.

Super informal and despotic, we made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and when we arrived they told us that they were full, we asked for a refund for the tickets and they said that only the manager could authorize it, really terrible experience
