I was satisfied with the my first experience at the massage parlor. The message therapist who provided the service was named Emma and she gave such a great massage. I left the establishment feeling refreshed and relaxed. They have a special offer for first time customers for 70 minutes for only $55 cash which is appealing ! I can’t wait to try their facials and facial massages next ! Be mindful that they have a parking lot in the back of the store.

Excellent service. My daughter and I do couples massage for several years with these ladies. We choose different options and offer and always receive professional care. Were 💯 satisfied and leave with way less discomfort than what we came in with!

Got a massage here yesterday. It was so relaxing and calming. Usually, when I get massages, I come out feeling more hurt than when I went in, not here!The place is clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. I will be back soon.

Went there today as a Mother’s Day gift. Massage was great but once i got him i notice three small bites on my stomach in a row. From my research those are bed bug bites. I am disgusted by this and won’t be visiting again. (Don’t mind my stretch marks i gave birth a couple months ago lol)

They are what they advertise. A straight up massage parlor. I go with my partner to get couples massages. Very good experiences everytime.I do recommend that you be very vocal about the pressure you prefer. These ladies are strong.

4/30/24 Update:Gave this place one last shot for the convenience. So glad I did, Mo Mo was aaaamazing. Sometimes you just get a bad seed anywhere you go. Will definitely be returning more frequently!2/7/24 Update:3rd time here, super disappointed.Have seen Wendy and Annie and they were spectacular. Unfortunately neither was in and when I called they said everyone was good so I was willing to try somebody new because the last two massages here were amazing. I was scheduled with Mary and I feel like I just wasted $75. It was the laziest massage I’ve ever had. No pressure whatsoever and there was a few times that I just felt like getting up and leaving. She didn’t make an effort at all. I am a hairstylist and spend all day on my feet and always get tension in my neck and shoulders and try to take care of myself and get a really good massage when I can and this did absolutely nothing. Didn’t work on my neck at all and literally just running her hands up and down, no massaging. The last 2 times the girls even stretched my body and she didn’t even do that. This experience alone makes me question if I will even go back here. So disappointed 😔12/2023 1st time here, was going to a place in Paramus and Smile Spa definitely put them to shame. Walked in, was taken right away. Place was clean and welcoming. The tables were so comfortable, especially the face pillows. Wendy was amazing! She literally got every knot and kink out, and I didn’t even have to say anything and she just knew. She made me feel comfortable and I was beyond satisfied. This will definitely be my new massage spot for sure! So glad they opened this in Hackensack!

Shame on me for not giving this place a chance sooner. I frequent Hackensack often and only checked this place out a few days ago when a massage was booked for me. The staff is amicable and professional, and the atmosphere is relaxing.I had a deep tissue massage with Momo, and she was terrific. She took the time to understand my needs and areas of tension. The massage was relaxing and therapeutic, and I felt completely refreshed and rejuvenated. She wrapped me up like a burrito with extra blankets when I told her I felt cold. Their massage bed is wider than most places, making the experience even more comfortable.I recommend Smile Spa to anyone looking for a great massage. Its the perfect place to escape the stress of everyday life and relax and pamper yourself. The price point is excellent, and their cleanliness is on point, too. I have added it to my list of massage places to frequent.

It was my first time at Smiles SPA and Im very happy that I chose to go there. The massage therapist Coco was so professional and kind and she was so focused to do the best. My skin now is so soft and clean. All the staff were so kind, the place is very clean and the price was very affordable for what you get there. I will not change Smiles SPA for anyone else. I highly recommend this place 😊

The massage itself is very good and the pressure per request I.e. medium or hard are excellent as well. The only reason for the 2-star review is because of the tip issue. I got a 1-hour massage and thought the price is very reasonable as far as the baseline goes. But when I handed my $15 tip the owner said it wasn’t enough, so I felt bad and ran back to my car to get any remaining cash. I ended up tipping $18 total, she was still dismissive even after I apologized.I honestly don’t know how much tip you expect us to give you. Whether I was off $1 or $2 from acceptability, you should at least appreciate me conceding.I’m not going back to this place

They dont suggest tip, they demand it. You can see other reviews complaining about this! You could be more professional!! If you dont want to feel uncomfortable after the service, dont go to this place!!!!

Most reasonable prices for a massage in this area. Ive come here twice, and I enjoy that the staff prioritize silence in the massage rooms. The only thing is I wish they wouldnt ask for tips so aggressively. I recognize that maybe some patrons dont tip their masseuse for their own personal preference -yet, in my case I was going to tip. It was a little uncomfortable to be continuously asked to tip when I explained that I was waiting for my partner to bring cash.

Came in for a 1.5 hour massage on Labor Day with a 10:30 appointment. It’s your standard Chinese massage place for a good price. No frills, no thrills. And it’s clean, you really can’t ask for more. Though I think 1.5 hours was a bit too long for me. Will stick to the 1 hour next time.

I went for a 70 min full body massage after having a long stressful day before. The massage was amazing and had the perfect amount of pressure for me, I have no complaints about it. It wasn’t until I checked out that I ran into a situation. This was only my second time here with the first time being back in March. I proceeded to give the masseuse a $15 tip, which was over 20%. She then counted the tip in front of me and pointed to some sign about a suggested $15 or $20 tip for massages over 60 minutes and based on the pressure. In my opinion, my massage was medium pressured as she had pointed to the part that said hard pressure and $20. I said that I had no idea about these “suggested” prices and gave her $2 extra as that is all the cash I had on me. I understand that everyone tends to tip differently, but as the sign said these are “suggested” and should not be forced on someone. My only suggestion would be to make this known before hand as the email received upon booking only asks that you tip in cash and no suggested prices.

Great massages! Every time I come with my wife we enjoy it every time. They are very professional and kind. They ask if the pressure is good or not before continuing. The prices are affordable and they also have a coupon system when you fill up your stamps you either get a free or discounted massage. I 100% recommend smiles spa if you are near the area. They also have free parking around the back with a back entrance :)

Wow wow!! Momo was amazing, I did a full massage + Facial. I absolutely loved it. Definitely coming back very soon. Affordable prices and I don’t really mind about the tip. She did an awesome job. My face is glowing and I feel 100 pound lighter after the massage.

Best spa in Hackensack I must say Amy is the BEST! She takes her time with every muscle in the body front back feet head to toes ! I will be coming here once every 2 weeks to relieve stress ! I can’t even summarize in a review how good the message makes me feel !

I called on 11/23 at 1:30 to make an appointment for 2pm. Arrived on time only to be told they are busyThe worker who could not speak English called the ownerI spoke to her and she said come back at 4 and I will give you a discount .My 2pm appointment was given to a walk in customer . the massage was good but the girl refused to give me the discount and demanded a 20 dollar tip for a 30 massage I refused and she became angry and told me to leave!

Bruh, I feel like I just went 12 rounds with Apollo Creed after this little lady walked on my back and twisted me into a pretzel. I’ve paid twice as much for stupid Sports massages and “body work” at other places and it’s not half as good. If your a bigger guy and work out hard or got crazy knots in your back, this is the place. Plus they got the best signage😂😂 NO HANKY PANKY!

Massage was ok however they have an imposed $20 tip. Which I understand is ok if you tell people up front but the front desk lady was pushy about it when I said I was leaving a $10 tip cause I did not have any more cash. If the service is $20 on top of whatever it is listed for then you should make that clear to your customers when they book and not be sarcastic about it as if a tip is mandatory. If it’s mandatory then it’s not a tip. If your workers work based on tip maybe you should pay them a better wage.

I came here because i just moved to the area. Massage was good but I was not informed about the mandatory $15-20 tip. I have always given tip based on how I feel about the service. The masseuse did not speak English. I asked her to get me change for a large bill and she got offended and started talking in her language. Another woman came and told me it was mandatory to give $15-20 dollars for a hour massage/ I looked at her and told her this is not a mandatory rule. I tipped the lady what I felt was right and reasonable. I have family who works in the service industry and I also have worked in the service industry: never has it been mandatory to give a tip. Perhaps the owner should pay the employees a better hourly wage. They will Lose customers because of this “mandatory tip requirement” I don’t recommend this place solely for this reason.

Upon my 3rd time at this spa, I was greeted by a roach on my massage table by face rest!! This is extremely unsatisfactory and unacceptable. I was so uncomfortable thinking if I did not feel it crawl on my face. I think the worst part is that the owner did not even give me a complimentary service or DISCOUNT! This is absolutely poor service and I have told everyone I know how horrible this experience was. Not worth the money or service.

I had a 70 min facial and my sister had a 60 min massage and 60 min facial. It was the best facial I’ve received. I suffer from adult acne and they esthetician took time to remove blackheads and even received a mask at the end with a head massage. I felt amazing! Highly recommended. My sister has been to franchises for massages and said this is the best massage she’s received. Great service! Very clean and friendly. Great prices! Will come back to improve my skin

I was looking for a good spa here in jersey and I came across smile spa and based on all the great reviews it had i decided to go. Amy the manager was very professional and nice and rescheduled our appointment right away after I had cancelled an hour before. I went for a couples massage and it was great I had a lot of lower back pain and once she was done the back pain was gone. I also loved the hot stones they placed on my back. I got a 60 minute massage and it was truly the best. I will be going back thank you.

This is my new favorite place! I decided on a monthly self-care regiment and got a couples massage with my friend. The price is insanely affordable, and my masseuse were absolutely amazing. I usually find that massages are too light, but here the pressure was absolutely perfect. They also give you a punch card to keep coming back, and I absolutely will! I have to been to many spas, and Smiles os hands down one of the best. Smiles is clean and quiet and they follow many safety precautions. The staff is friendly and they offer many services. My massage was done by Helen and she was amazing. I highly recommend both Helen and Smiles Spa!

I got the best massages ever and smile Spa. The masseuse is very knowledgeable and educated at what she does its very obvious. The kindness and customer service(Tina) extends from the front desk to the masseuse . If youre looking for a professional massage this is the place, my masseuse name is Sofia and I definitely recommend her for her skills as a masseuse. Looking forward to my next visit.

I’ve been here a total of three times. I’ve referred lots of people including family and friends. Nice people, good massage but I honestly felt scammed the last time I went. I took my boyfriend for the $90 couples massage. We finish, we give them the card and they said I was going to be charged an additional $10 because I was paying with card which I was like ok no big deal. I didn’t make a big deal over it because it was the first time I was paying with card I wasn’t aware of these extra fees or else I would’ve just brought cash. But it didn’t end there. I’m like “can I add the tip” and she goes yes but it’s a $15 MINIMUM PER PERSON. Like l stated before, good people and good massage but like someone else said in a different review, not everyone can afford to give not just a $15 tip but a $30 tip at that. I left very disappointed and not wanting to return. Went in for a $90 service and left paying $130 total. I feel as though if I would’ve known they were going to overcharge me the way they did, which they have never done to me before, I would’ve been more picky about my service.

I usually write positive reviews of the place I visit and try my best to be as honest and frank I can. Having said that, our recent visit to SMILES SPA was a mixed bag of some positives and negatives.We had friends and family in our group. We had made advance appointments and reached the place on time but it took us about 10 minutes to get parking as the lot was full being a Saturday. We had to wait for a spot to park.Upon arrival, the owner of the spa told us rudely told our group that we were late and she said that the massage would be only 60 minutes and she would take off the extra 10 minutes, promising us some coupons as a rain check. The massage was OK but it appeared that they were more concerned about the time than actually focusing on the massage. The worst part was that the owner started to argue about the tips we gave her for our group and demanded that we pay her more than what we initially paid plus the cost of the services.To cut a long story short, better put your money somewhere else, if you need kind, courteous customer service where there is less hassle over finding a place to park, and then having to fight over how happy the parlor is with tips, than actually focusing on making the customer happy with their service.

They only charge $50 an hour.When I checked out, I saw the sign suggest tips $20 an hour, and I was surprised. it was only total $70 for such a good massage, I will definitely come back, I love it so much, clean, professional,next time I will bring more cash for the tips ,I will recommen all of my friends come here!

The massage was great! I was referred through a family member, but I do feel that the extra fee was unnecessary! I wasn’t told until my session was over that I’ll have to pay an automatic $10 tip *people who work hard should get a tip*.The person who referred me, said that as a customer I would be able to choose how much to give.It’s important to move in integrity! This is the 3rd professional massage I had in my life and my first at Smile Spa. I loved ever bit of it !!! I’m new to the neighborhood, I moved from Harlem and have been looking for a nice spa by me to start my monthly self care. I was greeted by Amy, she was so, hospitable and welcoming. That was already a check off in my head, then the environment was clean and smelled good another check in my head. They waste no time another check in my head. Jason my masseuse got right to work he knew exactly what he was doing. He made sure I was comfortable at all times and I felt relaxed. I’m a wife and mother of 2; so he was able to loosen up my muscles, hit all the pressure points and calm my body. The prices are very affordable which is more than a win for me! I will be back for more massages and to try out their facials!!!! You got a loyal customer out of me!!! Oh and they gave a nice Valentines Day gift with a water!!!

Perfect Asian massage service with Linda. Very professional therapeutic body work & foot reflexology service. This place is clean and well run. This place is a dream. Great price for 60-90 minute session, because every masseuse knows how to get out your knots. They will work with whatever injuries or sensitivity you may have. When you request medium or hard you feel the difference in both. The owner is friendly.

Smile Spa is a up and coming Massage Spa. The atmosphere is very tranquil and perfect ambience. Very clean from the entrance to the bathroom. Staff uses proper safety precautions face mass and hand washing. My masseuse Amy was very professional and experienced and well qualified. For this type of service i will gladly come back and tell a friend.

So I and my husband had a couple massage, which was okay I guess because he had a good massage therapist, but I guess I was not lucky enough that day to have one. #1 My therapist kept on giving me hard massage when I told her to keep it lighter (I think she’s new though as I see her colleague give her instructions) so I tried to understand that part. #2 The place wasn’t that quiet as you could hear people from the reception area talking #3 I was told by the receptionist that there will be additional $5 for using card as a payment eventhough I have cash for tip. I wish I’ve known that in advance, but what disappointed us more was #4 when we saw this sign saying to at least give $15 tip for medium pressure and $20 for hard pressure on each person. Our original price for the couple massage was $90, I just thought that 20% of that would be enough, I wasn’t trying to low ball, but I just think that they shouldn’t be posting that ‘cause unfortunately not all people can afford to tip that much. I know some people who will read this may say “don’t go for a massage then”, but no, everybody has the right to be pampered once in awhile, and if I know that person works hard to get one, why not?! Well, the point is I don’t think they have to tell people how much to tip, it’s embarassing and it doesn’t look good for the spa. So, just a heads up for people who don’t have too much budget for massage, their price is great, but consider how much tip they are asking. I saw good reviews for most of their therapists though so that’s one good thing about this place.

Great massage place and great prices. My whole body was tight and i hadnt had a massage in a few years so i decided to go to give this place a try. The massage therapist definitely knew what she was doing she worked on my biggest problem which is my tight leg muscles.

I very much enjoyed my visit. Due to stress I had alot of tension in my back and shoulders which feel 1000 times better . I plan on going back. The only suggestion I have to make is full disclosure of the mandatory tip amount prior to appointment booking. I was not made aware of the amount prior to visiting the spa, it was not until I was checking out and adding a tip I was informed of the mandatory $15-$20. Do not get me wrong, the service is worth the generous tip amount however it would have been nice to know of this ahead of time. This is a new business in our community and some may want to visit however can not afford to give me than they can at the time. A tip is a courtesy and to tell someone how much they have to tip is a bit unethical in my opinion. Like I said I do not mind the amount because it was worth it but a bit more transparency would be beneficial.

I was Long Overdue for a massage and fairly new to the area. Im so happy I found this place! Very clean, great Covid protocols and CeeCee has Magic hands! I feel great nearly a week later. The prices are so good that I tacked on an extra 20 minute Aromatherapy Head massage. I will be back OFTEN!

I came across this place totally by accident the prices on the site were great and it was close to me so i stopped it my massage was good however!!!!! When it came time to settle my tab the problems came in #1 i wasn’t charged the first time price that was offered on the site i was actually charged double and #2 i HATE when people tell you how you should tip and are hovering over you while you are filling out your credit card receipt. I’m the type of person who honestly doesn’t know how to tip so if they could AtleAst have a “suggestion sheet” by the register that would work 100 times better than having the lady who works the register telling you you aren’t tipping enough other than that part it’s a good spot

Luna was able to accommodate me last minute and I do not regret calling them. She was amazing and gave attention to every single muscle from head to toe. She applied just the right amount of pressure and focused on my neck, which I had requested. The hot stones were soothing and a great way to finish out the hour. For $45, you cant beat the price and the quality. Will be returning.

Not a good massage, went to relax and get some muscle tension released, but left the facility in the same or actually worse feeling. The owner or front desk lady tried to do service recovery. But in the end was rude as well. Would not go back.

I booked for the massage/facial combo and it was definitely the best massage I’ve ever received!! I think I had Sophia and she was amazing. It’s a great price for a very good service.

MOMO spent time and worked out the pain in my arm. She definitely does deep tissue massages to the full extent. Excellent! Im referring my friends and my son went today. Hes an athlete and gave the massage with MOMO 1O Stars. The prices are well worth it and so are great tips.

First time I come. Simply wonderful! The masseuse who attended to me was perfect!! Its so worth it!! Unfortunately I dont live here, because otherwise I would come every week.
