My mom loved her scallop platter. The onion rings are some of the best Ive ever had. Although my grilled chicken sandwich could have been better. The atmosphere and live music was nice. They gave my mom a ton of fries in her platter. The prices are good for being in a touristy place. Id eat here again.

Great little spot right off the beach! Food and drinks were amazing, friendly staff. Live music, outdoor games and fire pit table set the perfect ambiance!

Was there yesterday afternoon and there were four of us . Gross food, bad service. Waited a long time for someone to acknowledge us to get drinks at the outside bar in the back. We watched another bartender spray Raid in back of the outside bar after our over done chicken tenders and soggy fries were placed on the bar. No utensils. We walked over to a table and left shortly after. Will not be back. Plenty of other places to sit and eat with better service and edible food.

I would have given them a higher review if our waitress wasnt in the crabbiest mood Ive ever experienced as a customer (Ive been in customer service for 7+ years and would never have treated a customer like she treated us). Seems like all of the other wait staff was completely pleasant besides the one who waited on me and my mother. Its not a big deal, but after watching the hostess deal with a total Karen of a customer with grace and patience, just to be treated like an inconvenience by her coworker felt like quite the juxtaposition of service. Big disappointment. The live performer was nice though.

The food was prepared well and good. Its on a side street, a short walk from the beach and the prices are much better. Service was a bit slow, but our bill wouldve been nearly double if we ate only a block over.

Great location! L street tavern is a laid-down bar with an outdoor patio. They have a good selection of beer and drinks. Beer is always cold, and they have live music in the Summer!

Finally went with my brother in law who loves this place. Had a steak bomb. Very good. Made with fresh shaved roast beef. Great cocktails and service. I will return!

I was there on Saturday night with friends had 2 beers danced on the dance floor for 10 mins with my friend a woman headed to bar to order shots and the bartender said She had to shout off the woman in all black , me why ? I had 2 beers I asked to speak to the manger she said she couldn’t get her then proceeded to make up lies saying the manger had to speak to me on the dance floor. I said nobody did , nobody spoke to me you are lying she said I was yelling at her and I wasn’t . She straight out made up lies . I was asked to leave because I admit swore at her . Then my friend a women went back to get out friend the bartender said to her oh why are you here your too old like my mothers age ! Rude bartender she was a bit over weight with black hair I bet she was jealous of us ! Happen July 6 2024

Food was not great. Paid a decent price and the food quality turned out basic. Our fisherman platter was ehh, didnt have whole belly clam strips. The haddock was mushy, not flakey. The special on Thursday is Prime Rib, advertised on my menu. I wanted that originally. 5 pm on a Thursday and out of the special. So I ordered Marinated steak tips, mid rare, the tips were just a steak cut into pieces and they were well done and chewy as heck. I wouldnt recommend this place for food. Probably just a bar to get trashed at.

At the beginning of the evening it was good however, the service and food tanked. Lots of losers at this place. Never will I go back. Only good thing is you can smoke cigars at this place. Security? One guy doing Security that I could see and was not doing a good job. Couples arguing and people being inappropriate.

Such a nice spot to grab food and a drink, before a show at the ballroom!!! We enjoyed sitting around the fire table and it kept me warm! The food was delicious and both waitresses were so sweet. We will definitely be back for a bite, next time were in the area.

Absolutely appalling experience at L Street Tavern! After the Bruins game, not only were my friends and I wrongfully accused of being rude and kicked out despite our polite demeanor and generous tips, but a male bouncer, double the size of my mother, aggressively confronted her, escalating to the point of nearly starting a physical altercation. This behavior is utterly unacceptable. The staffs aggressive and unprofessional conduct completely ruined our evening. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment if you value safety and respectful treatment.

The staff made the place terrible. Old blonde lady was very rude and snatched a cup of water out of my hand and walked away all proud and made jokes about it to other staff. And a different staff member told me that they are done being nice to people because people don’t listen. After spending a good amount of money on drinks will never be back and will recommend people to never go there

The food here is incredible. Everything I got was phenomenal. Fish tacos, lime shrimp, steak tips with mashed potatoes and onion rings. The fish was very fresh and so was the shrimp. Steak tips cooked to perfection and the bartenders were amazing

If u are lookin for a genuine good lobster then this place is just like the best lobster we had in Maine at the Portland lobster company. It was even less cost which I dont mindWe also had the 10oz filet on the 600degree granite (u cook it on the rock) was an excellent cut and had a fantastic selection of flavorings to useWe r from south dakota. Cant say we know lobster but we know steak and this was amazingSo dont pass up this little gem - we will be back

Great place to bring your dog and enjoy the outdoor area. The twin lobsters were fantastic as were the steamers. The fire pit tables were a great touch as was the live music.

The food was great, live music excellent and outside seating. The only problem was having to track down the check. But, fantastic experience.

As residents of Hampton, we have officially had our worst experience ever! Upon walking in, hostess could not tell us if there were available tables on patio( probably because for the two hours we were there she was too busy flirting with the security guy never took a walk through to see what the actual seating count was at). There were in fact 5 available tables after she told us theres probably none. Servers were rude, constitily messed up our drink order and brought out food that was missing half the order(for example..no coleslaw, no tarter sauce etc.) The food was horrible and the service was probably the worst Ive experienced...charged for 8 drinks instead of the 5 we had...stay clear of this place..bad service, bad food, watch your bill as to not be charged for items you didnt purchase!!

Great service and food. Thr atmosphere was relaxed . They have live music and karaoke. I had all you can eat Taco for $2 it was amazing. The bartender was super nice and made a great Margherita!! Wish this place was closer to home.

Bathrooms are totally NASTY where the karaoke is... Sweat box on the upper level... But then security guys are so nice! The outside bar and people of L St rocks!!!

Waited 25 minutes for a $7 egg and cheese sandwich at 10am that I never got. Asked for my money back and all I got was sorry there’s no manage here. It wasn’t busy. Shameful.

I am utterly dismayed by our Mother’s Day experience at L Street Tavern. What was meant to be a celebratory outing after the Bruins game turned into a nightmare. Despite behaving politely and tipping generously, my family and I were accused of rudeness and unjustly expelled from the bar. Worse still, a male bouncer, significantly larger than my mother, aggressively approached her, nearly escalating to physical violence, all stemming from a baseless accusation. This shocking and aggressive treatment on such a special day is beyond unacceptable. I urge everyone to reconsider visiting this establishment where respect and professionalism are clearly lacking.

We just stopped in for a couple of drinks . But we didnt eat here . The food looked good ! The wait staff was hustling!!! And they had outside entertainment.

STAY AWAY! Security guy said he hated canadian. Took the drink out of my friends hand just before closing while letting everyones drink in their hand and closing the bar (and letting them finish their drink). Tall guy, atrocious manners, could not believe it. Stay way!!!!

Do not come here, so many better options in the area for the same price. staff was extremely rude to me and my date as well as our friends, one of which was a police officer in the same town. Place is run by a bunch of Karens who can’t serve a beer without giving attitude, they dont know what an out of state license looks like either so be prepared to be accused of faking ID if you are not a local. Had an old blonde woman come from upstairs inside the establishment to hunt us down outside with a bouncer to say our ID’s were fake. Even the bouncer knew our ID’s were legit when we showed him but he said she requested that we leave regardless to protect her ego, great way to make sure we never come back. an older gentleman and his wife witnessed it all and got so annoyed they left with us too after the same bartender gave them attitude earlier, they even assured this was the usual reputation these guys have. Ended up going to The GOAT right down the street and had no issues with our ID, what a surprise. “L” Street is the perfect name for this place, what a dump.

Kirsten was our bartender, great service, great drinks, food and prices! We got the Buffalo chicken mac & cheese & a pretzel, strawberry margarita on the rocks! Would definitely recommend and we will be going back soon

Super cute place would be great if when you go you could actually have service!! Drove an hour after seeing the marg tower and looking forward to it and waited 25 min and no one even acknowledged us. Extremely disappointing.

Stop in for a drink and the scenery, but not for the food. We sat outside on a warm summer evening. Friendly greeter, good service, good place to stop for a cold beer and enjoy the Hampton experience. Unfortunately, the food was a let-down. The whole belly clams were so overcooked they had not a drop of moisture. They were so brittle they broke if you were able to get your plastic fork into them! The jalapeno peppers were overcooked as well and obviously out of a box from the freezer. The nacho plate was big, but didnt have the hot melty cheese and scrumptiousness we hoped for.

Female waitress appeared near catatonic at first, no warm greeting whatsoever. Service and drinks slow even though rated as not busy then.

Best place to eat at Hampton Beach. You can eat inside or outside. Its a fun environment and the food prices are reasonable.

Went there for lunch today bad choice .Service was good Baked Haddock small portion.Place is very run down with missing flooring its like a big city dive bar but its at the beach. Love the pee into a keg urinal in the mens room whoever is the genius behind this should be fired.This is a place for twenty somethings who are so drunk thay don,t have any idea they are spending there money at a dump.I could have spent my money at a nicer place at the same price. Never again steer clear of this one folks.

Come here if you are a white high school/college, middle aged drop out or old wannabe biker gang. Bartenders are rude and miserable (likely cause they can’t get a real job and peaked in high school)

Dont tend to you very well dont tell you that they are out of something and just substitute it for something else but still charge you for the product chicken tenders over cooked dont bring you water without asking and you had to ask why stuff was missing waitress was horrible

Latterly, waited 20 mins without any service after asked the waitress twice about getting a drink. It was an awkward situation for me and my date. Never going back then again.

Went for the prime rib special. Ordered med rare. It came brown as it had been microwaved. Not med rare and not like pictures. Server/bartender was great, owner very pleasant, friendly. Potatoes and green beans good flavor but rib appearance was negative being nuked.Id go back though and give them another chance

So, just was walking by on a Saturday night and all was quiet. .Not a person outside. Wanted to take a picture with the Pirate that was standing outside. The girl said we had to come through the front door to do so so my friend did. Only to be confronted by the bouncer of the establishment. She said she just wanted to take a picture with the Pirate statue. He said yeah well youre not coming in Hon......well....we didnt want to come in, just take a picture . We werent trying to be nasty but he acted like we were drunk degenerates. We kept walking to The Goat. Best place on the strip! Thanks to The Goat for yummy food and wonderful customer service! Been there before and will be back again!! Just go to The Goat people....dont have over enthusiastic bouncers wanting to throw you out.

Great atmosphere, good drink prices especially for the location being right next to the boardwalk. Outdoor table had a built in fire heater which really helped combat the cold while still being able to enjoy the sea breeze we went to the beach for. Karaoke was a blast, staff was friendly, just a fun, great time. Strongly recommend ♡

Cool place. Parked in parking lot around corner and seen signs so we decided to get breakfast. The good is we were seated within min. Then it took waitress about 15 min to come to table. Then another 15 min to bring coffee. Then another 45 min for eggs to be delivered. So plane to be there over an hour. That is the bad! The eggs were good and the toast were good.

The food and atmosphere is great. Staff is unbelievably great and helpful. Love the specials. And most important, the beer is COLD

If youre looking for a laid back, beach tavern experience this bar is the place to go. Live music and karaoke every day and starting July 1st there will be breakfast every day. Theres a beautiful outdoor patio with yard games and fire tables and an outdoor bar. Staff is amazing. Come as a stranger, leave as family!

Made it just in time before breakfast ended. Waitress put our order right in, no problems and we enjoyed the new outdoor patio area, even played Jenga with the table next to us. Would be nice out there at night. Outdoor tables have fire pits in the center, lots of outdoor heaters for cooler nights. I like the outdoor area, well done.

Loved this place!!! We just stopped in for lunch and a drink while walking the beach. Our server was awesome.its pricey here but I felt it was worth it.

My wife and I have been here a few times later in the evening and always have a blast with karaoke. The clientele have been friendly and outgoing each time, bartenders and bouncers too. This time we tried the upstairs, where they had a DJ in a more dance-club-vibe, which was still pretty low key and fun. Havent had much of the food, just a couple bites of apps which were good enough. At this point we look forward to hitting L Street after a show at the Casino Ball Room almost as much as we look forward to the show itself.

My lady and I had a great time here. Good music and Jenga, along with fast new friends made an unforgettable evening. Well definitely come back.

This is a great spot for adults. Its always a good mix of friendly locals, beachgoers, bikers, and people just looking to have a good time. Sure people bring their kids, but in my opinion leave the kids at home. The outside area is nestled in between the restaurant and neighboring house and even though is open to the street it stills feels secluded with an outside bar at the rear, comfortable tables with propane fire pits, and other various seating areas. Theres typically live music playing, smoking is allowed and usually theres someone smoking a cigar. Dont forget to play Adult size Jenga!

We went there for breakfest two days in a row and the waitresses were so nice! The food was good, the mimosas were greats and the patio is hudge. The prices are also good. We will definitely go back there!

I went here for my friends Bachlorette party. It was a blast. First time really going out for some fun after Covid. Some good karaoke and drinks.

This place is really fun for karaoke! At night the upstairs turns into a club with a djs. They have cool fishbowl drinks and is great for drinks and dancing. The staff are always really helpful.

Blonde bartender at the bar upstairs shoved me while I was simply standing waiting to order my first drink at the bar… when I asked why she pushed me she said “you were in my way b****” and continued to swear at me from behind the bar in front of other customers. This made me extremely uncomfortable and upset so my friends and I decided to leave along with a few other customers that witnessed what happened and were distgusted.Tried to call a manager the next morning to let them know what happened but apparently there was no manager available to speak to.

This place is a definite place to visit. The food was unique unbelievable. Cooking was delicious hot and timed well. Great prices. And friendly staff. And the chef was cute

I came to the hog roast on Easter Sunday. Johnny Angel was the entertainment. The employees were genuine and pleasant. The event was well planned and seemed to go without a hitch. Brian cooking the pork was at the top of his game. And Jake, the owner was down to earth and personable. It was. 5 star event all the way. I can’t wait to go back. They advertise come as a stranger and leave as a friend. And that’s exactly the way it was for me.

Wicked dive, but you gotta love it. The dinner specials are a great deal, big portions for a reasonable price. All the standards on tap and some extras in a bottle. Usually live music inside. The patio is great too when the weather is nice.

I am 29 years ole and tried to meet up with some friends here, solely based on that they allow dogs. The laminate on my NH license was peeled back from always having to take my ID out and they would not let me in. I had 6 other forms of identification on me, to include my military ID, which was expired and they would not accept it. I asked for the manager who then again denied my entry. I then asked, because I had multiple friends there, if I could call the police to verify my identification and the manager said that if I called the police to verify, then she would deny me service. Not to mention she appeared three sheets to the wind and it was only 8:30pm on a Wednesday. I will never return again.

The bartenders were not friendly at all we tipped them there were hardly anyone in there and still early no reason to not have a personality. Later in night went to Wallys and had the best service ever

L street is a great place to hole up for the evening because of its 3 club atmosphere. The outdoor patio with huge Jenga and live music, or the downstairs bar with karaoke, or the upstairs dance area with DJ

My wife and I stopped in Tuesday 11/22/22 at about 5:45pm. We were told by the bartender we could sit anywhere we want. We chose a table across from the kitchen entrance and popcorn machine. My wifes sister has been telling us so many good things so we were both eager to try the food. We sat there for over 10 minutes without any waitstaff approaching the table. During this time, we overheard a profanity laden rant by the bartender telling a story of how she was accused of hitting someone. We werent upset by the language, but if she had time to rant, she had time to welcome us and take our drink order. Our patience finally ran out so we decided to leave. Nobody bothered to acknowledge our presence as we walked out. This place obviously doesnt want our business so we wont be back.

I went here with a family member to get some late night eats, and we ended up being ignored for over 10 minutes. By the time someone took our order at the bar, the cheeseburgers wed ordered came out cold, and the karaoke was God awful. Ill probably never eat here again and that doesnt bother me in the slightest.

Stopped in for the first time during the seafood festival the food was excellent as well as the staff being attentive and friendly. I recommend the Lobster Quesadilla, the Lobster roll & bacon wrapped scallops all delicious.

We stumbled across this place accidentally with our dog and absolutely loved it. They were soooo friendly and helpful, the drinks and food were great and for an awesome price, and they were AMAZING with our dog. The patio was nice and toasty even though it’s early April, and our waitress/bartender was brand new and you would have never even known! Can’t wait to go back!

This place is so much fun! We went on a Tuesday and they had karaoke and a decent crowd of fun people truly just laughing and enjoying themselves. Staff was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Service was quick and bathrooms were clean. One of the better bars on Hampton Beach. Highly recommend for young people just looking for a good vibe.

Its just an adult bar with a combination of people having fun and drinking and also enjoying a meal.Food was very good and I ordered the scallops with bacon and also the broiled haddock. Both were very delicious!Wait staff very open and eager to help with any questions.Security and staff outside the building was very friendly and accommodating when I had several questions they were very quick to answer in a very friendly way.Ill be back again and again! :-)

1/2 of our party didnt get served until the other half was finished eating their cold food and we were leaving. Management not only didnt apologize, they became argumentative and nasty.Food mediocre at best; and expensive.Will not see any of us again.

My boyfriend and I had dinner at L street, I must say I was very satisfied with the baked fish. My boyfriend had the steak tip Macaroni & cheese and he loved it! We will absolutely eat there again!!! Also the owner Jake is awesome!!!

By far the best place at Hampton Beach. Food, music, cute bartenders and a very happening night place. Dj and night club upstairs and a huge bar and karaoke downstairs. Make sure to say hi to Justine she is the best bartender.

Amazing service and great food! Their prime rib dinner deal ($17 and comes with potatoes and veggies) on Thursdays was awesome and their mashed potatoes were so good. We also got classic mac and cheese which was delicious! Being from the city I didn’t expect great service but L Street Tavern exceeded all expectations

Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional security accused me of having a fake ID multiple times after looking at it under his black light. “This ID is fake” in a very rude tone. He never explained his reasoning and after correctly answering multiple test questions he asked regarding my information he accused me once more. “I know this is fake, tell me now or I will go inside to run it in the scanner”. I told him go ahead and do it! After about 5 minutes he came back out, did not look at me, speak to me, or give me my ID back. He gave my ID to the other security right in front of us and said “they are good” and swiftly walked away immediately. I made a comment about his attitude to the other bouncer and he said “he’s good”. No it is not good, after such comments and poor behavior I was at the least expecting an apology. As soon as we sat down he was right back up front, appears he was embarrassed and did not want to own up to his mistake and inappropriate behavior. On a positive note I did enjoy the cool outside setup, the bartender was friendly and the drink did taste good. Unfortunately the start to our visit ruined our experience. I would have understood if he said he had to just go run it in the machine quickly to make sure it was okay but to make such accusations/comments in front of other guests and in such a rude way was unacceptable. Especially to not even own up to the mistake after the issue.

Excellent winter specials, the $10 prime rib Thursdays are well worth it. A full meal for $10 with really tasty prime rib. All of their specials make it cheaper than eating at home all winter long.

I tried this place last year, and was not impressed due to price and burned food wait times and having to hunt down our waitress. I decided to give it another shot this year and I am glad I did. Got their shrimp and scallop appetizers and lobster roll. Served quickly not burned and a good dipping sauce for for the shrimp. Great 180° from the Pandemic.

Go every year! The karaoke is amazing! The bar tenders remember us year in and year out. Amazing place.

Ive been going to L st since the 80s and even though its changed owners its still the beach bar.

Ill begin with the way the L Street Tavern is dealing with the Covid reopening. I very much appreciated that the help staff were all wearing masks, which I feel if crucial. We were also seated in a fully covered table outside the main restaurant. So far so good. However, I felt they should have had a couple hand sanitizing stations. I went back to my vehicle and got some disinfectant wipes since the restaurant didnt have any.Next the food: Our drinks were great. Our appetizer of Coconut Shrimp in sweet chill sauce was good. The Clam Chowder was very thin and much more of a potato bacon chowder. Next the haddock sandwich was good. The worst thing of the meal was the underdone french fries which we couldnt even finish because they were so soft and unappetizing.Having said all that, I had a truly great brunch there earlier this year, so Ill definitely go back and give them another try.

Bartender was super nice and very quick on getting our drinks especially with how busy it was, as well as taking food orders too.. My best friend and I had a great time for a quick break from cleaning for an adult beverage and a quick bite to eat.. I will def be back 👍🏻🥁❤🍻🍻

Had a great time at L St Tavern on July 4th. Spencer was an awesome waitress and Zach the manager was also very attentive. The food was delicious, cooked right and came out timely. Spencer kept us in drinks and made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend for the food, atmosphere and especially the service.

Great food at Hampton Beach is unfortunately not very easy to find. This place has amazing food, the drinks are good, and the bartenders are cool! They have a really cute patio area, as well. Definitely go here for lunch or dinner. Once it gets dark out, the place turns into an absolute nut house. Karaoke, dancing, very crowded, people of all ages. I definitely recommend this place. We stayed for 2 nights and went here 3 times, LOL.

I first came here several years ago, and I went again recently & this place has seemed to change quite a bit, atmosphere wise. I remember when I went with my family as a child, it was more of a restaurant/bar, now its basically a bar, with outdoor seating as well. Anyhow, we called to place an order to go after reviewing the online menu while vacationing. We ordered two Angus burgers, as well as macaroni & cheese. The person who took my order over the phone was very polite & friendly. She told me it would be about 15 mins, so we began walking from our hotel room, which was about a 15 min walk, when I arrived, the food wasnt ready yet. An obviously different person who waited on me in person told me that it would be a bit longer, so I went outside to smoke after paying for our order & after a few minutes, she brought the food out to me. Burgers were great, mac & cheese was also very good. Fries came with the burgers that were also good. Food & prices were excellent, but I didnt give 5 stars because our order wasnt ready when they said it would be. However, it was only an additional 5 mins or so maybe. But I was told 15 over the phone. Not a huge deal though. Would definitely recommend!

Good food, good music, good service. However, some employees are definitely weird, bumpers pushing drunk people with physical contact from the counter while their jobs is to be patient and provide secure service. DJ yells at customer who wants to go to bathroom.

Still my favorite bar in Hampton Beach, but... They just discontinued daily breakfast this week without informing anyone. The signs for Daily Breakfast from 7:30am are still up in their parking lot and in front of the entrance. Breakfast is now only on weekends. Surprise, surprise especially after seeing that the bar shows up as open on Google Maps at 7:30am when its not. Bummer after walking over a mile from my apartment...

The drinks were great, the food was exactly what I’d expect and the service was out of this world! They made us feel like we were regulars who had been going for years, but it was our first time in.

We had a fun filled family karoake night. A young lady was celebrating her birthday and joined in with us!! Had lots of fun!!

This tavern has reinvented itself into a much more inviting place. We attended the annual Easter Pig Roast and while the offerings were basic, they were well prepared, especially the guest of honor.. try it out.

Cold beer and great service!

First time we showed up my boyfriend was told that he could not have a drink cause he was with those girls. Not sure what it meant but that was very rude! It was also first time in Hampton Beach. We tried again and me and my girlfriend were drinking white Russians. The bartender was complaining saying am I going to have to make them every five minutes! The milk is inside. My boyfriend stated that why dont she bring some outside. She stated that she couldnt. Which was wrong cause the night before another bartender brought some outside. When asking for help with the keno machine the bartender again got snappy and did not help. The bartenders are very rude!!!

Went there two time this week and had a good time and good food. However, I give 3 stars because I was excited about $1 tacos but when we go there it was seat yourself and all the tables were duty with things from previous customer. We ended up going somewhere else to eat.

We went with a small group and shared some of the dishes. Each was tasty and well prepared. Fried seafood platter, crab cakes, stuffed pepper soup, steak bomb, nachos, fries and onion rings. Even the kids chicken tenders were adult worthy. The owner and workers were kind and friendly. Charming, local atmosphere.

Use to love this place but the last 2 times I’ve been in the vibe has changed . Bartenders are rude and act like you’re bothering them when trying to order a drink . My friend ordered a drink with lemon it came with lime when she asked the bartender to change it she argued with her and said you said lime. Staff need a serious attitude adjustment never going back .

Jammin Jeff the dj plays the the best music and is very friendly. The best atmosphere for fun at Hampton. New bouncers too that let you have more fun and cool. Bartenders also quick for service and nice. Such a great time!

Started with karaoke downstairs with some drinks then made our way upstairs to finish the night off with the DJ who was amazing and played whatever we requested! Small place but fun atmosphere.

So me and my son went here and he wanted mac n cheese and when we got it he said it was freezing cold. So I tried it and yeah it was cold. 5 minutes later my son said a part of the mac n cheese was crunchy, like not cooked fully. But the food was good 👍

L STREET TAVERN is by far the most chillest /inviting bar on the beach. The fire pits outside and the staff as well are very inviting..I had the prime rib dinner special that they have every Thursday and was literally the best Ive ever had.This is my new spot and I hope everyone that see this post trust me and try this place out.#EPICFYI. There also open year round with karaoke 7 nights a week...

Great food, live entertainment and value

Great place to get a drink of beer but we got food. Fish and chips the fish was overcooked and dry. The coleslaw was horrible. The cauliflower buffalo bites were good.

I have been visiting this establishment for many years. We just visited and I was slightly disappointed that they had redone the downstairs area. Just my opinion but I liked the old L Street Tavern better. The food was delicious

Not many places open this time of year so we went to L Street Tavern for lunch. We are glad we did. Tuesday has tacos and Margarita specials. Basic tacos but were very good and very affordable. Same with the Margaritas. We would go there again.

Breakfast here and staff is amazing very friendly and quick w service angela during morning shift is amazing gotta try the hangover happy meal and the hangover tots out of this world highly recommended

Service was slow. The bartender took our licenses away and stared at them for 5 minutes. Generally rude when we asked about liquor options. Then she couldnt make the most basic of cocktails. Food was ok drinks were terrible.

Had a wonderful time on Friday night and the staff is great. My only issue is the bathroom. 1 stall for the first floor and on Saturday night 2 floor was close when I asked about the rest room they said they would open it in a half hour. The place was packed so I decided to go elsewhere. I would still recommend this place.

Cheap drinks, cheap eats. L street tavern is a fairly nice five bar. Nachos arent very well spread in the toppings to chip ratio, the cocktails are sugar filled, and the chicken is bland. Patio dog friendly, and staff was great.

Fourth of July 2021 and we had a great meal at the L Street Tavern! Spencer was an amazing server and Zach was an excellent manager. Food was great and service was exceptional. We will be back to the L Street Tavern!

Great time! Nachos were good and a lot taken home. Tacos were good! Got one hard shell, one soft. Liked the hard shell better. Bartenders were great and attentive!

The Prime rib was ok, the vegetables were still frozen. The mashed potatoes were tge only good thing on my plate. Parking is near impossible, unless you park one block over. I wont go back anytime soon.

Zero stars! My daughter who is almost 22, with a valid Massachusetts REAL drivers license was checked by the bouncer, and let into the establishment. She and her boyfriend ordered 2 drinks, paid $20 at the bar. She took one sip, and the bartender asked to see her ID again. She complied. They didnt believe it was real. And asked her for a passport or birth certificate (thats what a Real ID proves). Who carries those in their purse?!?! They took her drinks back!When she asked for a refund she was told she had to speak with owner who was not there. She left her name and number and of course no return call. VERY rude and unprofessional. Will not go back!

Door man said terrible things about marines! Had an awesome time until an overzealous tough door man decided to discredit my service and my fallen brothers. For the record Id like to point out he ran like a little girl when i confronted him for the blatantly disrespectful comments and attitude. Guess thats why he checks ids instead of defending our country! Id like to also give tribute to my fallen brothers in arms. Overall the place is great, bartenders where exceptional... But... I hate to see a great business fall because of one unpatriotic, self loathing, non deserving, loser!

Foods okay..Staff are rude disrespectful and cant handle fast past environment the old guy sean who is a bartender was rude screamed at me got in my face mind you im a lady, he got very aggressive over ordering a round of drinks i had just gotten out of work. Clearly he was overwhelmed 🙄 as a bartender i have never delt with a bartender who was so disrespectful and rude i will not be back

Tuesday $2 all you can eat tacos, great Wednesday $2 ayce wings, decent Friday $5 cheese steak sub, happy hour $3 domestic beer, excellent service and great atmosphere. Perfect spot. Ill be back.

We just went for coffee and dessert. They had live music outside. It was set up beautifully, tent, tables, lights and flowers. Would definitely be going back.

We were in Hampton Beach for the Seacoast Century the end of September and a lot of places were already closed for the season. Our hotel manager suggested Millies Tavern as an alternative to the remaining choices on the strip. If you just look down L street from Ocean you might not see it but it turned out to be a great place to eat. My wife had the steak tips and I had a chicken quesadilla. Both were great and the staff was very friendly.and welcoming.

My 2 friends and I went to L Street for dinner Friday night. Absolutely fantastic!!! The food was over the top and the staff was genuinely friendly. Especially liked the bartender Jake.

I only gave them 1 star because I had to give them at least 1 star to leave a comment, but personally I wouldn’t even give it that. Before even making it in the door me and MY MOTHER were screamed at my the front door man, asking us “what did we want” i said to him i was picking up breakfast sandwiches that we had already ordered he said “oh well give me your i.d” I understand the procedures but the delivery of it all was completely uncomfortable unwelcoming and unnecessary WILL NERVER RETURN

Be prepared to drink a $9.00 plastic cup of wine! They have No Glasswear! Wow! Things have really go down hill! It was cheap wine that tasted worse in plastic! I threw the whole cup in the garbage! Place is for College kids!

Cute little tavern with outdoor and indoor seating. Jenga at every table. I cant say much about the drinks because I didnt drink today BUT the food was AMAZING. My husband grabbed a bowl of clam chowder, THE BEST WE EVER HAD ! so good we are getting some to go for dinner. I had beautiful scallops wrapped in bacon with a maple dipping sauce, cooked to perfection and so delicious. My husband had coconut fried shrimp that he forced himself to eat because they tasted so good and he was so full but didnt want to leave them! Our Maine course (tenderloin kabobs) was served on a 600 degree hot stone with fresh garlic green beans and garlic mash.... you basically cook your beef up to as well as youd like and then move it to your plate to eat.... the taste, again, DEVINE. And when I tell you we didnt drink and with all that food our bill was only 50 bucks. You cant find that pricing ANYWHERE around here! Reasonable prices for AMAZING food and service. We WILL be back! L Street Tavern is the best!

You want a local feel and be treated like one to? Nicest staff on the boardwalk. Tucked away on L street the pub food speaks for its self. Try the chips, quesadillas, wings, you really cant go wrong!

Excellent Steak Tips and usually some good specials. Beer and drink specials are moderately priced. It only suffers from being cramped in a basement. Service is friendly!

Buffalo Mac was so good!! And the outdoor seating with the fire was nice. When we went there was a live band which made it an even better night!

Been there in October 2014, so we didnt find a crowded place or anything, it was quite cozy in fact and with some live musicWe ate pork ribs and onion rings, plus some great desserts and a pair of awesome cocktrails, one shaped like a fish bowl (with jelly fishes swimming in it too)

Had the steak tip mac which was amazing and a few mixed drinks. Karaoke was entertaining as well. Service was good and staff friendly.

The food was ok needed some flavor.

The food here is surprisingly good - I was expecting bar food and had low expectations, but the fish n chips were outstanding and so was the chowder and sides.

Don’t come here off season as they are super slow and you will take all day to get 1 drink and some food and they have no toilet paper in their bathrooms! Maybe they are better during high season but not after Labor Day

Was there on a saturday,July 22nd for karaoke,the dj was an ignorant ass,god forbid someone walk in front of him while he was singing,scolded my friend, needs ppl skills and he sings two songs in a row, where Im from customers come first,unless hes doing it for free....went back again Sunday and Monday and what a breath of fresh air to see another dj who was professional ,nice and very attentive,he was super cool ,me and my friends stayed all night,And lastly ,Jon the bartender made sure our cups were always full ,awesome bartender,Overall cool place ,Ill be back again just not on a saturday.....
